Show Your Love

Hello my friends
and
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

I hope you are having a wonderful day today. Did everybody
survive the weird weather we’ve been having LOL? I’ve been
seeing a lot of people down south posting their snow pictures
on FaceBook the last few days. Hehehe boy talk about weird.
Almost 12 inches of snow in one day for Texas is one for the
history books hehehe. It seems that all across the southern
part of the USA got snow last week :). I think the only state
that didn’t get snow was Hawaii LOL. Now that would have
been really weird huh! Oh well, the weather never stays the
same. It may at times seem that it does, but the weather is
always with its variables. Judy asked me if I could remember
ever getting that much snow in Texas and I said yes. Back
when I was a kid living in Dallas. So yes, it has happened.
Sometimes the timeframe from then to now will cause us to
forget, but the fact is, the weather has been the same in the
past. Ok so what else is there to talk about hehehe? Ain’t
much else to discuss LOL. It still looks white up here, yet
it has melted a lot. We are though expecting a few snow
showers today and the rest of the week. God only knows
when it will cease. Our temperatures ranges have been on
a much milder scale than last year and year before. That
can all change in a heartbeat though. Now for a silly bit
about our language and words. I wrote the word though
and accidentally wrote tough a minute ago. Don’t ya think
that if tough is pronounced TUFF, then though should be
pronounced THUF hehehe. Many of our words are the
very same. the only change is often in the first letter and
that will cause a metamorphosis in pronunciation. Well,
that’s enough about our goofy words LOL! Oh yea, here
is another word for ya. The spelling is the same, yet it is
pronounced two different ways with two different meanings.
Resume is pronounced ri’zoom which means to continue
and Resume is also pronounced ‘rezemey which means a
summary of your academic and work history. So OK, I’ve
enlightened you on a bit of our silliness. Now it’s onto yet
another topic hopefully more intelligent LOL. Today is
Valentines day my friends. Here is a little bit of knowledge
about this special day. Saint Valentine’s Day (commonly
shortened to Valentine’s Day) is an annual holiday held on
February 14 celebrating love and affection between intimate
companions. The holiday is named after one or more early
Christian martyrs named Valentine and was established by
Pope Gelasius I in AD 496. It is traditionally a day on which
lovers express their love for each other by presenting flowers,
offering confectionery, and sending greeting cards (known
as “valentines”). The holiday first became associated with
romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the High
Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished.
Modern Valentine’s Day symbols include the heart-shaped
outline, doves, and the figure of the winged Cupid. Since
the 19th century, handwritten valentines have largely given
way to mass-produced greeting cards. Now you know little
about Valentines Day hehehe. Yet don’t just wait for this
day to arrive to show your love to someone. Do that as often
as you can, for they may be gone before you know it. God
calls us home in His timeframe. We never know when our
time on Earth will actually be the end. We can guesstimate,
but God truly is the only one who actually knows. I’ve been
told I was going to die more times than I can count by doctors,
but the truth is, it’s up to Him when our time is up. We see
many loved ones go and think why, but God has His reasons
beyond our comprehension and we must trust in His timing.
The fact is, don’t wait until a holiday, birthday, anniversary
or any other day to show your love to your loved ones. Do it
every day. Their time or yours might be up before you know
it and you may not have a second chance. God gives us time
to use. It’s up to us to use it as best that we can. I guess it’s
time for me to be hushing hehehe and beginning my search
back through all I’ve written to try and find a good word or
phrase that I can use for the title for today’s brand new poem.
So it’s off I go to that place of recollection that I like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE. Hehehe ya thought this was gonna
end up as a book didn’t ya LOL. Ok so I found a good title.
Now let’s see if I can write a good poem using it hehehehe.
Here goes nothing…hehehe hope not though!

Show Your Love

Let the values
of your life
be as love
not just of strife.
Let your passion
be well seen
letting go
of self esteem.
Show your love
to ones you know
because they’re time
might come to go.
Give a hug
to show you care
with pure love
to daily share.
God gives blessings
we can find,
yet it takes
a change of mind.
Looking past
the then and gone
and letting love
live on and on.

Ok so there’s ya a Valentines Day poem :). I hope ya like it :).
If not, then oh well hehehe, Life goes on! I do hope you have
a wonderful day today. Of course hehehe many of you won’t
read this until tomorrow or the next day, so I just hope you had
a good Valentines day hehe. It’s about time for me to be saying
goodbye, but not before I tell ya what I always do and that is, I
wrote some more poems and haikus. Yeppers, I wrote 10 more
poems and 22 more haiku, yet I wrote one extra poem that will
up the count to 11. The poem is to Judy. I wrote her a little
Valentines poem :). Ok, with that said, I guess I need to begin
my search for that off switch, but before I do, I must wish you
a most wonderful week. Remember, Jesus loves you and we
do too. Now, where’s that dad gum off switch hiding at this
time LOL? Found it! It was hiding in a thatch of my hair LOL.
So have a great one. See ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems & haikus 🙂
10 + 1 and 22 hehehehe

Times of Perceptions

Words are confusing
when they are heard
in midst of storming
of word after word.
Sometimes the moment
might set astray
all of the meanings
that you meant to say.
If you’re the one
that’s hearing the riddle
of times of wordings
found in the middle
take a little breath
and say a little prayer
and then let Jesus
give you fresh air.
All that you’re hearing
might simply be
times of perceptions
that you disagree.

Your Brushstrokes

Landmarks are painted
as times portray
daily encounters
in any which way.
Things we remember
from certain times views
become the landmarks
made by our shoes.
They can be pretty
or they can be Hell
all of the landmarks
remembered so well.
Landmarks of rhythms
paint as we go
all of the memories
that seem to grow.
In but an instance
landmarks are found
as many moments
just going around.
Landmarks are painted
with what we do,
so make your brushstrokes
better to view.

Might Be A Fad

Lingering minutes
might be seen
as the fragments
found obscene.
Passionate moments
might fall prey
to ones meanings
lingering day.
Sometimes settings
lingering true
can be the problem
found that you view.
Let your judgments
be better seen
finding the truthful
in what’s lingering.
Know that a moment
is only that
and what that lingers
might be a fad.

Thoughts To be Wed

Looking up skyward
I search to find
things to enhance my
changing of mind.
I search for moments
so billowy white
found as the fluffy
clouds I delight.
I look for stories
in all that I view
looking up skyward
the way that I do.
I sometimes see
what seems to arouse
all of my thinking
that moments endow.
Things I imagine
in clouds overhead
seem to make moments
and thoughts to be wed.

Seeking For True Love

Romantic passion
will flower and bloom
within a heartfelt
time that’s attune.
So many lovers
are counted and made
when in the season
that romance is laid.
It is the ticking
of internal clocks
that speaks to many
as loving tick tocks.
Some seek for minutes
of seasons design
just for a moment
of times valentine.
Yet there are many
with heartfelt array
seeking for true love
on Valentines Day.

Set Life Back On Track

Lands destroyed
we daily view
as what others
tore into.
We may need
to look inside
and see truly
far and wide.
We’re the actors
in the play
on the stage of
day to day.
Often fragments
that we see
might be our own
history.
Search to seek
a different mind,
one that saves
our own man kind.
Not just white
or brown or black.
Seek to set life
back on track.

Passion of Mimes

Counting a breath
that breathes in and out
leaves you the rhythm
of all your about.
Letters as journals
breathed in as words
fly in the sky
as passionate birds.
Counting a time
of breath that you breathe
gives you a moment
to doubt or believe.
Days will encounter
breaths found in sight
counted as threshold
others delight.
Look to the looming
passionate era
and find the scenes
remembered of pleasure.
Listen for heartbeats
in counted times
and also look for
passion of mimes.

Reflective Glory

The sunshine shining
makes easy to see
sights in the daylight
all around me.
Trees with beautiful
sessions of snow
light up the season
where ever I go.
Found in the distance
are reflected sights
found as the colors
from all snowy whites.
The sunshine shining
will soon be at rest
leaving the moonlight
to then do its best.
Reflective glory
is situated scenes
found in the white snow
covering greens.

That Silent Word

Hearts are beating
loud and clear
that so many
may not hear.
Many heartbeats
won’t be heard,
for they’ve hidden
every word.
Yet if you look
inside their eyes
you can see
what actions hide.
Sometimes heartbeats
are afraid
of what messes
will be made.
Yet it’s actions
that we need
to take chances
to succeed.
Someone’s heartbeat
might be found
beating rhythms
without sound.
So those moments
that occur
seek to hear
that silent word.

Deal With Today

Long and awaited
times found ahead
might be the shadows
of times we dread.
Countless confusions
find and mislead
timeless persuasions
of what we need.
Looking glass stories
textured in phase
help us to dream of
some wonderful days.
We though will worry
about what’s ahead
leaving our dreaming
a little unfed.
So if you’re worried
about a design
that is the future
to come into time,
then take a breath
and look a bit clearer,
for your tomorrow
is not in the mirror.
Deal with today
as best that you can
and then tomorrow
will have a good plan.

Love That’s True

Love recalls
what we see
when true love
is you and me.
Time may change
our daily view,
but I’ll always
love you true.
You and I
in future days
will be found
with great arrays.
I will always
give my love
to you dear
whom I think of.
My heartbeat
with your design
will be as
one Valentine.
Timeless scenes
with you and I
will find love
we can’t deny.
All the changes
in our view
will enhance
our love that’s true.

To Judy Pearce
From Bill Pearce

I love you Judy 🙂

Haiku
for Feb 13, 2010

Jumbled emotions
make up minutes of many
when they are in love.

A mind in the dust
simulates thoughts that are found
without not a clue.

Guarding your passion
might obscure you from true love.
Don’t guard it too much.

Hazards will happen
as life goes its merry way.
Prepare for problems.

Mind linking people
will maybe lose perception
when the others change.

Characters are found
as a cartoonish lifestyle
that sometimes is real.

Tapered victory
is negativities life
as many destroy.

Wind tunnel passion
blows essence to another
and sometimes makes love.

Heated arguments
destroy hope of common sense.
Take time to calm down.

In a love letter
are words filled with emotions
to ignite a flame.

Some find their slumber
as others seek forever,
but do not find rest.

Opening a can
and unleashing its insides
might be your folly.

Looking to the skies
I seek for some peacefulness
found within the clouds.

Pride can destroy you
if in too much abundance.
Don’t toot your own horn.

Harvesting minutes
might seem to take forever,
yet time goes its way.

A lions footprints
found upon the jungle floor
might lead back to you.

Snow is still painted
on the hillsides all around
saying it’s still winter.

Images of people
live in yesterdays echoes
found within today.

People without problems
only exist in untruth.
We all have problems.

Our chores are unwanted,
yet we need them to survive,
for they make us strong.

Valentines people
seeking love to make the day
might not find True Love.

Hooked on a feeling
leaves no room for another,
for others exist.
