My Squabbles

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been a sort of spring looking passed few days with all
of the snow slowly melting away. We’ve been getting a lot
of rain to replace the snow as usual LOL. It’s 51 F degrees
right now at 2:40 PM. Not too awful bad. Although we’re
still having a few 30 degree nights ever so often, but that’s
not too bad. The river ice has finally broken up and isn’t
causing floods as it was a week or so ago. Yeppers, it’s
beginning to look a lot like springtime, but so far, there
aren’t any green leaves sprouting. Nope only buds, but
I’m sure that in just a matter of days there will be green
leaves on the trees. Of course we do have our evergreen
trees that are always green LOL. So what else is there
to yammer about hehehe? Judy is home with me today 🙂
Her sister quit her job at Walmart to stay home and take
care of her mom. Judy will go over there ever so often to
give them a break so Trudy and Dennis can get out of the
house together and do something. But for now, Judy is
no longer going over there on Sundays to watch her mom.
Benny and Milo were sort of confused. They had gotten
used to her leaving like clock work every Sunday. I’m sure
they’ll get used to her being home hehehe. It looks like we
might get some more rain today and the next few days 🙂
We’ve got our little lake in front of our home as we always
do every year. One year our neighbors kids got their dads
canoe and rowed back and forth in our little lake hehehe.
I think it was June 27 2012. Benny had a blast watching
the kids and even getting in the middle of things out in
the water with me hehehe. It was a few months before
we got Milo. Though I’m fairly sure that Milo would of
just sat on the sidelines and watched until he was ready
to go back inside. He might of surprised us and went
splashing in, but we will never know, because all those
kids have since moved away. Both families have moved
and now we have some new neighbors, but they seem to
be much older than Judy and I. More like the age of my
mom or thereabouts. Anyways, Benny and Milo enjoy
each others company and they both love to be around us.
LOL ya can’t pet one without petting the other and the
same goes for holding one of them hehehe. It’s getting
a little cooler outside. Right now it’s 48 F degrees and
dropping. Yep, this is our spring. It’s supposed to start
getting a little warmer by next week. We shall see LOL.
For now the temperature will be bouncing up and down
as it does each year at this time from the 30’s to the 50’s.
Judy is behind me writing a Sci-fi story on her PC. She’s
a great writer. I love her two books that she wrote a
while back. Yes, we are both writers. I just prefer to
not go through the hassle of trying to find which poems
to put in the book and having to edit them all hehehe.
I’ll stick with this manner of publishing for now. Maybe
one day I’ll get a hold of the publishing agency and
go through my poems and start editing, but not any
time soon LOL. My friend Ben Geurts in Holland
bought the website that I use to publish my journal
on and he also publishes my Christmas poetry on his
Old Fashioned Christmas site. Oh yea, my friend
in New York has my Christmas poems recited on
his yearly Public Access TV Christmas broadcast.
I think I’m fine for now. LOL enough about me 🙂
Milo is lying in the floor enjoying having his mom
home with us. Benny though is back at his station
upon the watch tower recliner in the living room LOL.
It seems that our neighbors have their grandson
living with them and he apparently loves to race
his engine. Benny starts barking at him every time
he starts revving his motor hehehe. It don’t bother
me none being I will be outside this summer with
my conga drums recording hehehe. Payback time 🙂
LOL our previous neighbors enjoyed my conga
playing. As a matter of fact they would often come
over and watch and listen. They might also. Who
knows! First we’ll see how long they hang around.
They might not even last till summer. We have
had a few neighbors come and go lasting only a
few months. Our landlord isn’t the greatest. He
does tend to let things go from time to time LOL.
Oh well, life goes on. There are worse things to
bicker about hehehe. I just went and got Judy
and I some cookies to munch on. Now I’ve got
crumbs in my keyboard hehehe. They’ll shake
out 🙂 This keyboard is waterproof and it looks
like it’s crumb proof too 🙂 I have yet to of heard
from my computer friends in Texas about my PC.
They might not of gotten a chance to look at it
yet. Century Computer does stay rather busy.
Anyways, I’m sure Ron and Mandy will get to
it when they can and hopefully be able to fix it.
I had already purchased a few programs and all
on it that will only work on Windows 8. Not that
Windows 8 was worth a darn hehehe, but I was
making do with it as best that I could. Now I
hear they are coming out with Windows 10 that
is supposed to work a lot better than Windows 8.
It wouldn’t take much hehehe. As I had only had
the Windows 8 for a year or so before it died LOL.
It kept shutting down for no good reason and
it’s Windows Live email would retrieve my email
even though I had it set to NOT retrieve it LOL.
The Windows Live mail would also not let me use
my grouped emails as my Outlooks Express does.
If I were to use Windows live to send my article
I would have to send them all ONE AT A TIME.
That would take me till Christmas to just send
one freaking weekly journal hehehe. No matter,
I’ll survive. We’ll survive. Judy, I and the boys
are always with The Hand of God watching over
us. God put this family together and I’m sure He
will always make sure that we have all that we
need. We might want more, but our needs will
be met as they have been. Thank You God for
always being there for us and not turning a deaf
ear to my squabbles. Your Son Jesus Christ
gets an ear full from time to time as pressures
of life come upon us, but He stays and listens
and gives strength and tools to move forward.
I reckon it’s time for me to begin my little quest
back through all that I’ve written here to see if
I can find a good word or phrase that I can use
for the title for today’s brand new poem and so
it’s away I go to that place of my recollection
that I always like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.
It looks like I may have found a decent title and
now after checking I see that I have not used it
as of yet, but used it shall be today Mwahahaha.
Here goes 🙂

My Squabbles

Bickering moments
a squabble or two
become a mountain
found in our view.
My squabbles daily
are not oh so large
that I can’t let God
to have and take charge.
Often our portions
of daily desires
become as squabbles
that turn into fires.
Burning up pathways
bringing on cue
bickering moments
a squabble or two.
So now I’ve learn how
to give God control
some of my squabbles
that times paid its toll.
Yet I know surely
that I will still find
times with my squabbles
that are with mankind.
For I am human
and still make mistakes,
but through my squabbles
learn it’s give and take.
Letting God help me
with now and agin
through all my squabbles
to let Jesus in.

So there ya go. Did my rambling bore ya to tears LOL?
I hope not. Also I hope you enjoyed the poem and maybe
even understood it hehehe. Life is a mystery and so is
my writing 🙂 Ya never know what I will write about next.
I do have my silly modes ya know. But of course this
poem was not one of them. Milo is up and getting a drink
of water. LOL next he will be knocking at the door with
his paw saying he’s gotta go pee hehehehe. Go figure 🙂
Judy went to let him out for me. It’s great to have her
home today to help me. It’s often hard to get anything
written when the boys are up and around hehehehehe.
It’s 5 PM now and as soon as I get done here I might
fix Judy and I something to eat. I’ll fix the boys their
food later as I do every day. I still have a burger in
the fridge. I might see if Judy wants half of it, because
I can’t eat a whole burger. If she don’t want it, I’ll just
do as I did yesterday and put half of it back in the fridge
and see what she would want instead. Did I mention
that I love having Judy home with me today hehehehe?
If not, I love having her home with me today. It does
seem a little weird, being me and the boys had sort of
gotten used to her leaving every Sunday to go to her
sister’s house. 🙂 We can get used to her being home.
There’s not any new news about Judy’s Brother Ricky.
I will keep you up to date as I find out more. For now
he is still in the Bangor Hospital. So now I reckon it’s
time for me to be telling you what I tell you almost
every week and that is I wrote some more poems and
haiku. Yep, 10 more poems with one of them being
sort of Christmassy. Also I once again wrote 22 more
haiku for all of my haiku lovers out there. I hope you
can find one or two of either or both that you like 🙂
So now I think it’s time for me to begin my search for
that freaken not so elusive off switch, but not before
I wish you a most wonderful weekend or whatever’s left
of it and a blessings filled week. Remember, Jesus
loves you and we do too. Now where’s that ornery
off switch trying to hide this week. Oooh, getting
good are we hehehe! Hiding on the face of my watch
trying to act like the hour hand might of worked if you
were on the correct hour LOL. It’s not 6:15 PM 🙂
It’s 5:15 PM ya silly hehehehehehehehehehehehe
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill, Judy, Benny and Milo Pearce

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

The Lighthouse

A seashore so rocky
makes many ships sink
without a lighthouse
to glow in the brink.
Seen in the darkness
of oceans of time
is then the lighthouse
with its awesome shine.
Yet by the daylight
the lighthouse is found
standing so firmly
just looking around.
The lighthouse keeper
that lives in its walls
lights up its candle
for nights oceans calls.
Keeping glass polished
for its brightly shine
to be the lighthouse
with its warning sign.

Imaginary Times

Sometimes our thinking
might need to imagine
times that we’re in an
alternate region.
Moments of sadness
that come with a frown
imaginary times can
turn them around.
For sometimes thinking
too seriously
can become problems
for you and for me.
Imaginary times
of momentous smiles
can sometimes help you
through troublesome aisles.
Yet there are moments
that need real designs
so don’t just live in
imaginary times.

The Dance of Stars

A night of darkness
brings stars alive
along with the moonlights
own sort of jive.
The dance of stars
will twinkle and shine
within the night sky
of time after time.
Dance moves of rhythms
that are so faraway
within the constellation
of the Milky Way.
The stars will twinkle
and shine all night
giving our night sky
some beautiful light.
Yet there are planets
as Venus and Mars
that also join in
with the dance of stars.

Looking For Style

Searching through closets
of lifetimes of while
many are just then
looking for style.
Not seeing truthful
the depth of there gaze
they might find nightmares
style of the days.
Looking for style
without seeing true
could corrupt everything
you say and do.
Sometimes that style
that you’re found seeking
is but a time frames
mistaken critiquing.
For it’s the person
the truth does compile
that is the best then
looking for style.

A Cry In The Night

As the winds blow
they make many sounds
a cry in the night
that somehow astounds.
It whispers some stories
beyond every sight
that are what’s heard as
a cry in the night.
Sometimes when blowing
the winds are announcing
branches and leaves seen
surely found bouncing.
The clouds passing quickly
on a starry night ride
join with their story
as cries coincide.
A cry in the night
of winds blowing tune
tells ones the tale
in the light of the moon.

Stories Of Christmas

The beginning of Christmas
so many will hear
stories one’s made up
year after year.
Many tell the story
of their own charade
stories of Christmas
that only degrade.
Stories of Christmas
need to hold true
the life of Lord Jesus
God sent me and you.
Many misconceptions
bring forth discontent
making ones Christmases
found as Hell bent.
The truth is that Jesus
was sent as our savior
from God The Father
that day in a manger.
As Virgin Mary birthed
The King of each king
stories of Christmas
are as angels sing.
Glory hallelujah
the stories foretold
stories of Christmas
from now unto old.
Life continues on
as the stories are read
to Christmas children
as they go to bed.
Stories of our Savior
and how He gave true
a way into Heaven
for me and for you.

Angels Of Dawn

Night brings us dreamland
as time moves along
then minutes tick on
for angels of dawn,
Angels found watching
and guiding us too
as dawns arrival
comes into our view.
The angels still guard us
as nighttime displays,
but they are busier
the light of the day.
As we go marching
within our own stride
angels of dawn then
go for the ride.
Watching and waiting
to do what they can
to help us to do what
that is of God’s plan.

Aqua Blue

My memories
of times other day
are of an island
so faraway.
The oceans waves
came rolling in
with aqua blue
of where we’d been.
Scenes remembered
found in the sand
beside aqua blue
with us hand in hand.
The minutes move on
as tides crash ashore
aqua blue thoughts
of then evermore.
Now only pictures
of that wondrous view
display remembrance
of that aqua blue.
The tides of time
are leaving a trail
found with us walking
an islands detail.
Each scenes arrival
live as memories
with aqua blue settings
of island view seas.

To Judy Pearce
From Bill Pearce

Frolicking Waters

Children splashing around
frolicking fun
as rain is falling down
when it’s begun.
Frolicking waters of
my own premise
I can remember now
under the skies.
Clouds of so fluffy white
frolic their view
down to Earth surely then
waters of blue.
Each scenic memory
comes as a page
frolicking waters of
rainwater’s stage.
I can remember now
times long ago
frolicking waters that
I used to know.
My childhood memories
frolicking around
in the rainwater
that’s found on the ground.

Chasing Shadows

When the day starts
and sunshine is found
I’m chasing shadows
I’ve found on the ground.
Maybe my own then
or maybe might not
I’m chasing shadows
that I once have sought.
Sometimes those shadows
are just but a phase
of my perception
of my future days.
Yet many shadows
that I sometimes chase
leave me confusion
that’s found on my face.
For many shadows
are just but a time
maybe just a minute
of a moments design.
Each minute’s changing
with momentous flows
leaving me sometimes just
chasing shadows.

Haiku
for Apr 25, 2015

Designing a heart
needs understanding its beat
and how that it bleeds.

Amidst perfection
lies misinterpretation
of what that is perfect.

Arms length of true love
brings forth many emotions
that are often want.

Lost in a forest
one might find the moss growing
to show them the way.

Allowing sadness
to thrive and lose happiness
is a choice we make.

Grandeur delusions
are often ones perception
of how good they are.

Atop a mountain
one might hear their own echo
if they yell real loud.

The fortress of time
builds its walls in our actions
either good or bad.

Glimmers of sunlight
come peeking through the tree line
to welcome the day.

While ignorance thrives
the lessons are still growing
showing right from wrong.

The meat of a lie
displays the unstable ground
that one day shows truth.

Beneath our footsteps
could be footprints of others
that we might not see.

Being positive
still gives way for being wrong,
because things will change.

Mining a moment
needs the tools of memories
to be of the best.

Leaves of spring grow
making trees to become green
to welcome more life.

The birds chirp outside
telling their tales of springtime
and how they love it.

Discerning passion
needs a correct assessment
or you could be hurt.

The rains of springtime
will land and become rivers
or soak in the ground.

Seasonal daydreams
come as passed days emotions
that now doesn’t show.

In heartbreak hotel
there lives a choice to move on
or to just stay there.

Now is a second
that soon will be a minute
that you might wish back.

Sleepless brings havoc
as the mind loses its grip
and creates wrong thoughts.
