ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been a fairly nice week this passed week.
The weather has been not too bad. It’ nice
and cool today, but sort of rainy. Judy and
I took a drive to Walmart just a little while
ago to get us some more soda waters AKA
Pepsi and Mountain Dew hehehe. Benny and
Milo enjoyed the ride. We stopped off and
got us some hamburgers from Burger King
for our dinner later on today. It looks like
we might have a bit of cool weather for the
rest of the week. Today’s high is supposed
to be 56 F degrees and right now it’s 53 F.
Tomorrow’s high is supposed to be 60 F or
so with Tuesdays high around 50 F degrees.
Yep, it ain’t nothing like Texas weather 🙂
Summer is just around the corner and we’re
still having morning frosts up here hehehe.
I have to keep tabs on the weather so not
to leave Judy’s plant outside and get frozen
again. It’s come back alive, but so far it
has not sprouted any more flowers. Maybe
if the sun ever decides to stay out for a bit,
the plant might bloom again hehehe. Yet,
for now, we see mostly clouds. I’m glad
that Texas is getting a reprieve from the
rains. I am sad that my bro. Mark and his
family got flooded out in Oklahoma and
are now having to find somewhere to live.
I imagine this is a problem for many with
all of the floods, tornadoes, hurricanes,
Earthquakes, landslides and fires. Most
of these problems are a yearly thing, but
it doesn’t make it any easier I’m sure. So
I send my prayers to you all. Up this ways,
the weather has not been all that bad. We
had a ton of snow and when it melted it did
take it’s toll on some low lying areas, but
Judy and I are fine. I took the boys out for
a walk in the field Monday and Benny did
more than walk LOL. He zoomed passed
me as he always does, but Milo decided
to hang back. He only came out a little
ways. It was a good day, but cloudy as
always hehehe. Tuesday Judy and I took
a ride over to the graveyard and she put
some lights that she bought from Walmart
a week or so ago around her dads grave.
We both took a few pictures of it and on
the drive there and back I took pictures
of the scenery as I always do 🙂 I love to
take pictures especially when the scenery
seems to be asking for a photograph LOL.
So, what else has gone on this passed
week? Judy’s brother Ricky is not doing
well at all. He’s in the hospital now with
heart problems and kidney failure. Keep
him and the family in your prayers. I’m
sure that God is in control and He hears
our prayers. OK, so what else is there to
yammer about? Oh yea, Judy and I took
the boys out in the field for a little nature
stroll Friday 🙂 Milo was all into it that
day. It might of had to do with the fact
that Judy (MOM) was with us this time.
He went running on ahead of us with a
smile on his little face. Both Benny and
Milo were happy campers. They ran
around side by side and played. I had
a dickens of a time with Benny’s camera.
It kept falling off of his collar. I’ll have
to find a better way to attach it so that it
won’t fall off when we go strolling LOL.
I’m sure I’ll figure out something hehehe.
In the mean time, Judy and I get plenty
of pictures of them. He’ll have to wait
to take more pictures of me hehehehe.
Maybe next time he’ll get some pictures
of mom (Judy). Yes we’re a slight weird,
but weird’s what makes the world go
around. If it were not for silly people,
the world would become boring hehehe.
Sometimes a silly thought or something
you saw will bring you out of sadness.
Some weird things can become ventures
of a lesson learned. Don’t ever think that
silliness or weirdness is not necessary.
Combined with seriousness, it all brings
the world together. Now I believe it’s
time for me to be taking my little venture
back through all that I’ve written here,
to that place of my recollection to see
if I can find me a good word or phrase
that I can use for the title for today’s
brand new poem. So, it’s away I go
to that place that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE. I believe I may
have found a decent title and now after
checking, I see that it has not been used
as of yet, but used it shall be, by me.
Here goes nothing, but I hope not LOL.

Combined With Seriousness

Beyond what’s silly
might find what’s true
and then what’s serious
might live in you.
Those things we think of,
those times so sad
a silly emotion might
make you so glad.
Combined with seriousness
silliness strives
to take on a moment
where joyful arrives.
A little bit of laughter
through a serious note
might help your journey
to prayerfully float.
Often ones seriousness
will bring them down,
but a little bit of silly
might remove that frown.
So let your journeys
find laughter in stride
combined with seriousness
silly inside.

So did ya like the poem? I hope that you
understood it 🙂 I always have a dose of
silliness to dish out, but I do have my many
serious moments. Just ask Judy 🙂 Yes we
all need to get in silly mode from time to
time, but don’t stay there. It can cause
problems and even run people away from
you. Judy just went in the kitchen and got
her chips hehehe. I’m about ready to eat
my burger. I’m guessing that she’s ready
for hers 🙂 It’s 52 F degrees now. I don’t
think it made it to 56 F degrees. I guess
it’s time for me to be telling you what I
tell you almost every week and that is,
I wrote a few more poems and haiku to
share with you. Yeppers, 10 more poems
with 1 being sort of Christmassy hehehe.
Also once again I wrote 22 more haiku
for all of the haiku lovers out there 🙂 I
hope you can find something that you
like. Now I believe it’s time for me to
begin my search for that not so elusive
off switch, but not before I wish you a
most wonderful weekend and a blessings
filled week. Remember, Jesus loves
you and we do too. Now, where’s that
off switch that’s lacking terribly in hiding
skills hehehe? I see ya you little varmint.
Hiding behind a triple A battery does not
constitute hiding, being it’s so tiny and
you’re, well let’s just say, you’re not.

Heart and Soul

As people come together
and time pays its toll
there might be some echoes of
a little heart and soul.
Seasons that ones battled
might unite will and way
through heart and soul moments
of another kind of day.
The ones now stood guarding
might change their command
with a heart and soul battle
to help ones to stand.
Too many times we worry
about stupid little things
like journeys through colors
or ethnic type rings.
Our heart and soul is
what should bind our mind
together as brothers
for all of mankind.
We shouldn’t be fighting
for greed and of hate,
for we should be finding
our similar trait.

Weeds Of Life

With so many flowers
of day and of night
often it’s hard to
see weeds of life.
Sometimes the weeds
will hide in the mix
while they continue
getting their fix.
The view of a moment
might have hidden true
some weeds of life
that somehow snuck through.
People with lifestyles
poisoned with gain
for what that they only
seek to attain.
The weeds of life
will just suck us dry
if we don’t stay strong
in our by and by.
Finding the strength to
do what that’s right
and not get consumed
by the weeds of life.

The Days And Nights

With views of the night sky
and that found by day
the days and nights
create their own way.
Displaying their ventures
with clouds and of stars.
The day shows a rainbow
and night shows us Mars.
The days and nights
become friends of time
in ways of conjoining
a wondrous design.
Night brings us pathways
of scenes in the dark
sometimes with echoes of
dogs that will bark.
Day brings us similar
yet we can see
the things that were hidden
from you and from me.
The day displays doorways
of clouds floating by
while nighttime displays them
as shadows in the sky.
The passage of time
forms skyline charade
acting out portions of
life’s lemonade.
Found as the portholes
of darkness and lights
this is the story of
the days and nights.

Beyond A Breath

While many breathe,
a breath fades away
that might of stood
beside us each day.
We might not perceive
of the ones nearing death
for we have not seen
what’s beyond a breath.
So, take time to look
and see what’s inside
a heart that is there
that we thought had lied.
Often it’s but only
our own point of view
found beyond a breath
of then thereunto.
Now as you read this
take heed and refine
your days perception
of ones time to time.
For, beyond a breath
might show you the key
of what that’s true
in all that you see.

Summer Soon Comes

Today as the values
of springtime display
June is beginning
with the ending of May.
Summer soon comes
as the hours connect
showing us truly
their wondrous affect.
Now as the flowers
display all their colors
summer soon comes
with so many others.
Like seasons book
with pages to turn
summer soon comes
with more to discern.
The heat of the season
reflects its own style
some with cool breezes
blowing a while.
Summer soon comes
with rains falling down
sometimes too often
and sometimes not found.
The seasonal doorway
beats many drums
found after May then
summer soon comes.

Look For A Smile

Look for a smile
as your day begins
even if you have to
fill it with grins.
Don’t let your past
to wear on your mind,
for there is better
for future to find.
Don’t let the darkness
of yesterdays dawn
to be your lifestyle
as time moves along
For you might find
a darker tomorrow
filled with but only
all of your sorrow.
Look passed the times
you did not do well
and find today
a better detail.
Look for a smile
or maybe a grin
to help you today
and all that’s therein.

That Special Time

There’s a special time
that lives in my heart
a wonderful time
that shall not depart.
It is so magical
as it comes to view
that special time
with a wonderful hue.
Some think I’m crazy,
but I could care less,
for Christmas always
I daily possess.
That blessed moment
that never shall end
for it’s within me
as Decembers wind.
I think of it always
and its great design
while its within me then
that special time.

Midnight Expressions

The evening grows darker
as nighttime prevails
midnight expressions soon
show their details.
The stars begin twinkling
as the sun fades away,
then the moon’s shining
with its own display.
The hours tick onwards
as nighttime moves on
with midnight expressions
that sing along.
Songs of the twilight
begin shining true
midnight expressions
within their own view.
The night shows the twinkle
of a stars own design
midnight expressions
that live in my mind.
Designs of the zodiac
that paint up the skies
midnight expressions
that God did surmise.

Angels All Around

Those times in my past
that I struggled on
I found I had angels
helping me along.
I now can look back
and see angels wings
helping me daily
to do the right things.
Many times I stubbornly
still tried to prove
I was truly ready
to fit in the groove.
Angels all around
still came guiding me
helping me to be
who I needed be.
We all have some angels
that stand clear as day
friends there to guide you
to the right way.
There’s angels all around
but some are not seen
and they’re just waiting
to be your tambourine.
To help you see yourself
in the right kind of light
angels all around
to show you what’s right.

My Imagination

Times when I worry
of my devastation
often it’s but only
my imagination.
We each might conjure
up our own pain
from all the times
we sought so insane.
My imagination
can take me away
letting in hopeful
of a different array.
When I’m depressed
I find I can see
my imagination
as a hope driven key.
Imagining a moment
maybe not true,
but it changed sadness
to a much brighter hue.
Yet my imagination
needs to know when
to cease of its journey
letting truthful begin.

Haiku
for May 30, 2015

Looking passed the clouds
the sky becomes as starlight
when nighttime prevails.

Marching to your style
might find you marching alone
if your style is bad.

The mast of a ship
with its sail opened up wide
finds ways to travel.

Beyond our vision
is a world that is hidden
in our perception.

Truth has two meanings
with one meant to hurt others
and one which to not.

The echoes we hear
might turn out to be our own
that ones heard us say.

Meaningful chatter
might lose all of its meaning
as noise hides the facts.

Yesterdays glimmers
could possibly be nightmares
that should of been dreams.

So many people
leave themselves on chopping blocks
of stupidity.

A mind within minds
hold another realm of thought
that is found in depth.

Without True belief
Heaven and its existence
is still holding true.

A light within us
might become a blinding thought
that guides our future.

Windows of insight
can display many moments
some good and some bad.

When catching wind
let your hands grasp its power
and then let it flow.

A minute from now
leaves seconds to be counted
if you are real bored.

Various lifestyles
display footsteps in patterns
that mock each other.

The love of money
can turn into dynamite
destroying your life.

Now is a moment
that shall soon fade from our sight
while displaying then.

Passionate people
will often find ones not so
and get hurt real bad.

Allowing others
to affect your emotions
gives them great power.

Momentary times
will come and go in our lives
that become heartbeats.

The sun shining bright
can either become blinding
or help us to see.
