ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

Happy New Year
&
Belated Merry Christmas

Well, I’m back. Sorry about not posting
last week, but we were still spending time
with family. It was after all Christmastime.
My daughter and granddaughter made it
up and we had a great time. I didn’t want
it to end, but they had to go back to Texas.
They had a rough time in travels with their
flights being canceled due to weather and
all, but they made it home after having to
wait for what might of seemed an eternity
at Chicago O’Hare Airport. Their flight
was canceled first at Boston Airport, but
got an earlier flight. I’m sure they were
tired campers when they finally got home.
We did get a lot of great pictures of us all
together. LOL we even got some Claus
family photos being Jamye brought her
elf outfit. We spent Christmas with all of
the family over at Judy’s sister Trudy’s
house Christmas Day. There was good
food and games to play. I took Jamye
on a little sightseeing trip up north of us.
We went to BigRock Ski Resort and
watched the skiers while taking a few
pictures and videos of them. We then
went to the Governor’s Restaurant and
enjoyed some good food. I wish they
could have stayed longer. Sunday the
27th, when they came by for one last
visit it had begun snowing and Jamye
and Sami had a snowball fight hehehe.
It was the best Christmas ever and I
didn’t want it to end. Oops let me do
a little back tracking here hehehehe.
My granddaughter Sami and I did a
little music video together with her
playing the guitar and me of course
on my conga drums. She’s getting
good on the guitar. I think the video
came out pretty good. Time seemed
to pass faster than normal. I wish I
could rewind and enjoy those moments
again. God willing, they will make it
up again one day. That would be the
best. They did manage to see a white
Christmas even if it wasn’t snowing,
being it had snowed the day before
they got here and there was still a lot
of snow on the ground. LOL we took
our Claus family photos of us out in
the snow. Claus family photos means
I was wearing my Santa suit and Judy
was wearing her Mrs. Claus dress 🙂
and yes Jamye was wearing her elf
outfit. Sami just wore what she had
on hehehe. She had a Santa hat on
in one picture though. Yep, we had
a great time. I hope that because of all
the flight problems Jamye’s not afraid
to come back and see us. Judy and I
went over to her sister’s house for New
Years Eve and we played games until
about 11 PM and we made it home in
time to watch the ball drop to welcome
in the new year. We brought Christian
home with us to spend a few days. We
spent much of the night watching Youtube
videos as we did the next 2 nights LOL.
His mom is here now to take him home.
It seems our grandson loves to hang
out with Grandpa and Grandma hehehe.
I think I will have to pause here so that
Judy and I can head to Town to go to
Walmart and buy me some more sodas.
I have 2 Mountain Dews left, due to
it being Christians favorite soda too 🙂
I’ll be back in a bit to finish this……….
I’m back. Oh yea I forgot to mention
what the boys did for New years LOL.
They took down the Christmas tree and
tried to eat the tinsel hehehe. Needless
to say it was tinsel town in the living
room hehehe. So Judy and I cleaned up
their mess and picked up the tree and
put it away. They didn’t break any of
the ornaments which is a miracle if you
ask me LOL. Normally we leave the tree
up for a few months after Christmas LOL.
I guess they figured it was time to come
down hehehe. Yep, it looks like the new
year is gonna be a wild one if that’s any
indication 😉 It snowed a little bit today
and it’s supposed to snow a little tonight.
It’s supposed to be a high of 11 F Monday
and -1 by Tuesday morning which isn’t
too bad for this time of year. Judy and
I are thankful for the blessings of love
that fills our home. We have each other
and our 2 little boys to wake up to each
day and be glad. Yet, we do know that
these times are only limited, so we’re
thankful that God answers prayer and
heals our hearts when we lose a loved
one. God helps us through prayer as
He gives what we need that we cannot
get or do for ourselves. Thank You
God, for Your love and patience that
You have, for You allow us to strive
in our own directions so to learn to
look in Your Way for guidance when
we have lost our way. So, I reckon it’s
time for me to be taking my little trip
back through all that I’ve written here
to see if I can find a word or phrase
that I can use for the title of today’s
brand new poem and so it’s away I go
to that place of my recollection that
I always like to call RECOLLECT
VILLE. I think I may have found a
decent title about halfway through the
journal, but now I’ve gotta see if I
can write anything that makes any
sense using it LOL. Here goes….

Again One Day

Another time,
another place
again might be
repeated race.
Yet some moments
do not come,
times unique
a beating drum.
Again one day
might seem to be,
but be changed
by history.
Minutes recorded
timeless things
might just be
your wanted dreams.
Use what good
that comes your way,
for it my not
again one day.
The chances now
are great to find
a little girl
a learning mind.
A boy grows old
and moves from home
again one day
you’re all alone.
Use the moments
God gives you
to again one day
be great to view.
Moments heightened
in a way
from a photo
again one day.
The past is gone
and can’t return,
again one day
might seem to burn.
So don’t let
the grass to grow,
again one day
with bitter woe.

Ok, so there ya go. It’s not a New Years
poem, but can be construed as one hehehe.
I hope you enjoyed my rambling and maybe
even the poem hehehe. Judy and I have our
TV schedule line up for the night to watch.
I bookmarked the Youtube videos that we
were watching with Christian. So when he
comes next time we’ll pick up where we left
off 🙂 I hope you had a safe and happy New
Years EVE or DAY. We didn’t do a lot 🙂
Neither of us likes to do fireworks and we
don’t drink, so we just enjoyed playing some
games with family and then coming home
to spend time together. I’m thankful that
Judy and I have many of the same likes
and dislikes. We do have our differences,
but then no two people have every single
thing about them the same and yes that
includes twins and whatnot. Judy is not
the same as her twin sister Trudy. They
have different personalities. I have not
seen 2 twins that are exactly alike in their
actions and thoughts. Even mirror twins
have their differences. God made us each
one uniquely. So, I guess before I begin
rambling in 5th gear again, I better tell
you what I tell you almost every week
and that is, I wrote some more poems
and haiku. Yeppers, 10 more poems,
but 3 of them are Christmas poems this
week. Also I wrote 22 more haiku for
all of the haiku lovers out there. I hope
you can find 1 or 2 of either or both that
you like. Now I believe it’s time for me
to begin my search for that not so elusive
off switch, but not before I wish you
a most wonderful weekend or whatever
is left of it and a blessings filled week.
Remember, Jesus loves you and we do
too. Now, where is that dad burned
off switch hiding this time? LOL, you
have gotta be kidding! Hiding in my
box of Cordial Cherries hehehehehe.
Hard to fit huh, being I’ve only eaten
1 or 2 of them. You couldn’t squeeze
in enough to keep me from seeing ya
huh? Well, guess what dude hehehe,
Gotcha, see ya zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill, Judy, Benny, Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S
The last Christmas poem titled
Remembering Christmas is to my
daughter and granddaughter.
Love you bunches <3

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Total Chill Out

The cold of winter
finds its voyage
total chill out
to take charge.
Scenes as white as
Heavens face
finds their forms
most every place.
In the snow
found on the ground
total chill out
now is found.
The cold of winter
oh so new
now is our own
daily view.
Scenes as paintings
far and wide
total chill out
takes a ride.

Beyond Perspective

As Christmas passes
leaving traces
many still have
smiling faces.
Beyond perspective
though some find
memories tarnished
Christmastime.
Many not seeing
what that’s true
not the gifts
ones give to you.
It’s about Jesus
and of giving
sharing blessings
that He’s living.
Beyond perspective
look to find
a more thankful
Christmas mind.

Waves Of Life

A page found turning
good and strife
is our oceans
wave of life.
Different moments
come to be
waves of life
for you and me.
Waves found cresting
oh so high
often making
moments fly.
Waves of life
might surely grow
into goodness
Christmas snow.
Letting Jesus
end your strife
with His blessings
waves of life.
Christmas wishful
can come true
waves of life
for you to view.
So let Christmas
live and breathe
with sweet Jesus
to believe.

Cherished Memories

Within but a doorway
a footstep is made
cherished while walking
in life’s lemonade.
Seen in the windows
of yesterdays mind
cherished memories
will surely unwind.
Sometimes the pathways
will become real bumpy
making us daily to
become so jumpy.
Yet within moments
a smile might be seen
found as an echo
of a faraway dream.
Life can become better
as budding of leaves
spawned from the times
of cherished memories.

Lengthening Shadows

Glimmers of hopeful
as shadows display
become the portholes
to day after day.
Lengthening shadows
stretching so far
become the pathways
to how that we are.
Some find blessings
and some find despair
from all the shadows
that ones will compare.
Long winding journeys
to places unknown
find many standing
with peace all alone.
Some though are only
with sadness that grows
due to their lifestyle
of lengthening shadows.
They need to open
their hearts full of prayer
to lengthening shadows
of God’s love and care.

The High Ridges

Peaked of our pleasure
with seasons delight,
the high ridges painted
become a great sight.
Portions of hopeful
poured into tomorrow
becomes the high ridges
to see less of sorrow.
Looking passed yesterday
seeing today
the high ridges form
to a greater display.
Hope found in Jesus
and blessings we find
the high ridges show
a much better design
Sure we will falter
and might lose our way,
but high ridges hopeful
will come as we pray.
Then as our problems
come with a grind
we’ll find the high ridges
with a more peaceful mind.

A New Day Is Done

Morning brings changes
in form of our eyes
seen as a new day
to see brand new skies.
A new day is started
as minutes tick on
while nighttime is finished
to display the dawn.
Then as the morning
shows new things to see
the day becomes moments
of our history.
Found as a memory
sought through a time
a new day is done
with more then to find.
Evening grows closer
as nighttime’s begun
then what you have is
a new day is done.

A Year Has Passed

The past taught many
as some looked away
while a year has passed
to another fine day.
A better tomorrow
can come shining through
if we will stop fighting
the way that we do.
Find some agreements
this new year and time
and let peace to blossom
inside of your mind.
A year has passed
with shadows of hate.
Let us not to make that
become as our trait.
Find common ground
in the lives you see
a year has passed
so let be what will be.
Don’t let your grudges
to stay on your mind,
a year has passed
let’s love all man kind.

Remembering Christmas

It was a Christmas
I’ll always remember
a wonderful time
the best of December.
My daughter Jamye
and granddaughter too
came up to see us,
but now I am blue.
My granddaughter Sami
brought joy to my eyes
as we played music
that seemed as a prize.
I love them both dearly
and wish we could be
here now together
for more times to see,
but they had to leave
and I hold dear to heart
this special Christmas
as God’s work of art.
I hope that they’ll one day
come back to share
another grand Christmas
with God’s love and care.
Remembering Christmas
is now on my mind
a wonderful moment
I found Christmastime.

In So New

A new year comes
and gives a smile
bringing in
another while.
In so new then
time begins
a year of hopeful
laughs and grins.
The days might seem
as just the same,
but with maybe
a different name,
but in so new
there’s a way
to make good
another day.
Let this new year
end the war
finding peaceful
near and far.

Haiku
for Dec 30, 2015

Life is a journey
that many misinterpret
and fall prey to lies.

Lessons are a stride
which often comes our problems
real hard to hurdle.

Glimmers of hopeful
fall as a snowflake so white
that floats in the breeze.

A wind challenged bloom
attempts hold its place in time,
but winter will win.

Breathing in a breath
does not guarantee a life
if there is no pulse.

The darkness of night
might hold many mysteries
that are illusions.

As the Earth might quake
it might also be talking
telling of its pain.

Legions of problems
could become all that we see
if we allow them.

Found in the sunrise
are chances for a new day
to find a new start.

A tiny snowflake
falls at first all by itself
and then it finds friends.

Close-minded people
fail to see what’s possible
when two minds connect.

Winters arrival
comes as a window’s opened
to allow snowflakes.

A concert of life
brings forth many changing views
that need harmony.

A moments memoirs
might become as tarnished thoughts
that should of been good.

Lost in a blizzard
you might think that it’s useless,
but hope is in God.

A cup full of peace
can water many people
if done with Jesus.

Donning your armor
to head out to cause trouble
could cause your demise.

Clouds floating above
might hold a wonderful view
that only you see.

New years arrival
brings chances for a better life,
that must start in you.

As winter grabs hold
it lashes out with fury
that often seems nice.

A surfing snowflake
skims across tomorrow land
to create its art.

Our kindred spirits
watch over us as angels
sent from God above.
