If You Learned

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends
&
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY
to all the moms

I hope you are having or had a great weekend. I have been just
watching it rain off and on. I called my mom this morning early
before she got on her little venture of the day. I am looking now
to be flying back to Texas for a 2 or 3 week visit in July. Right
now I am lacking a tad in funds, but I should have it saved up by
June so I can schedule my flight for July. Never schedule a flight
in the same month you want to fly. It will cost you a bundle hehe!
I learned that many years ago. So what’s up in your part of the
world? It’s supposed to rain most of the week and be in the 40’s
and 50’s during the day most of the week, but slip down to ye ole
freezing at night the next couple of days. Yeppers, I’m thinking
I’m going to have some adjusting to do when I make my visit back
to Texas. I hear it has been rather warm lately and by then it’ll
be even warmer LOL. Oh well, I’m a born and raised Texan.
I’ll adjust 🙂 . I’ve taken a few more pictures of my friend as he
flies his airplanes. I took a few good videos. He wants me to
convert the last few videos into a DVD. I will hopefully get on
that soon. It’s getting in the proper mood for it on top of feeling
like it LOL, but it will get done. I made him a lil DVD of his
RC planes in flight a while back and he loved it. He flew some
last Wednesday, but my hip, leg and side was telling me it
was going to rain LOL. Old arthritis makes a good weather call.
It was a beautiful day for flying Wednesday though, but it was
soon over by nightfall as rain came. I am sure looking forward
to seeing my family and friends. I’m totally looking forward to
seeing and visiting with my old blood brother from decades past.
Me and Mark grew up together in Dallas from ages of around
5 or 6 hehehe till we lost contact in late 1979. I’m anxious to
meet his wife and kids. I am also hoping to see my daughter
and granddaughter, but they live in Louisiana. Maybe they
will be able to make a trip to my moms to visit. Time will tell.
It seems that God is taking good care of Judy and I. Judy has
begun taking walks with me to the mailbox to check the mail.
By her quitting smoking, it has lessened the PAD in her legs.
She made it to the mailbox and back. The only thing that seemed
to stump her was the same thing that stumps me hehehehehe
and that is our front steps. My old legs have a bit of trouble
manipulating stairs and steps and she has a bit of trouble as
well. Ain’t growing old fun, Ye Haw! I am trying to get her
doctor as my doctor as well, but time will tell. There’s not
many openings for new patients up here with doctors or dentist.
That’s the downfall of living up here LOL. Oh well, what’s
a doctor gonna do with me anyways??? They couldn’t find
anything that would help me in Texas LOL. Being inoperable,
means, ain’t nothing they can do. Hehehe, I’ve sort of gotten
used to hurting. I have no clue of what life would be like for
me not to hurt :). God gives me strength to endure just as he
gives us each one our needs, yet we often get clouded by our
wants and think we cannot handle anymore. God knows our
limits. He knows what will make us stronger. Often many
will blame God for things that them their selves had brought
upon their own lives. Look to see where your wants are at
and you might see the reasons behind your problems. Not
always though, because Satan is alive and well. Yet he does
not always interfere, because our own humanity gets us into
trouble. So many parents have tried to teach their children
as best to their abilities, but the fact is, many children the
same as I was, will often think their parents have no clue.
They might be smarter than you think. Of course, I am not
saying all parents have the best in mind for their children.
Many should not be parents, because they are still children
themselves. If you learned some good from your parents,
thank them. This is Mothers Day. Give your mom a call
and tell her how much you appreciate her. If she’s in Heaven
then thank her there. I’m sure God will let her hear your
voice. Ok so I guess I need to be scanning back through all
I’ve written to my points of recollection to try and find a good
word or phrase that might work well for the title for today’s
brand new poem. So it’s away I go to that place that I like
to call RECOLLECT VILLE. I believe I found a good title.
Now let’s see what if anything I can do with it hehehehe!

If You Learned

Times of childhood
I’ve discerned
and I’ve found that
I have learned.
Lessons boldly
come from time
as we make our
ways design.
Jumping puddles
getting wet
brings the things
I can’t forget.
Timeless doorways
long ago
taught us things
we need to know.
Mom’s and dad’s
of shore to shore
tried to teach
a little more.
If you learned
a tiny thing
then why not
give them a ring.

Ok so it’s not exactly a Mothers Day poem hehehe. There are
many dads out there doing the best they can at being both parents
just the same as moms. This day and age finds so many single
parents out there trying to do their best. I pray that God gives
you the strength to teach your children well. I guess I need to be
finding that old off switch, but before I do that, I need to tell you
about the poems and haikus I wrote Saturday. Yeppers I wrote
once again 10 poems and 22 haikus, yet with no extra haikus 🙂
I hope you enjoy and understand some of them. With that said
I want to wish you a most wonderful God filled week. Always
remember, Jesus loves you and we do too. Now to find that off
switch that loves to evade me hehehehe. Searching, searching,
searching, found it LOL. Hiding this time in the salt shaker
that never made it back into the kitchen hehe. I’m a salt nut 🙂
Have a great one, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems and haikus.
10 and 22 🙂 hehehe

Anger

Pointless is anger
when all that’s inside
is but emotions
calloused cowhide.
Anger is needed
to get us through,
but then forgiveness
needs to be true.
Our motivators
as anger from times
can help us gather
some better designs,
but if that anger’s
not in control
it could prevent you
from reaching your goal.
Learn to release it
and to forgive
and you might find much
better to live.

Times Misfortunes

Scented as dew drops
time might seem
yet then misfortunes
enter the dream.
Times misfortunes
that many find
may be needed
to change their mind.
Sometimes misfortunes
are not at all,
for they may just be
needs to befall.
Minutes of moments
might in a way
display misfortunes
we seem to pay.
Yet of course time that’s
written to see
might be misfortunes
needed to be.

Flowers That Grow

The hints of scents
of flowers that bloom
may be to see
with coming of June.
Maybe in May
when many surmise
it might delight
a bit late in our eyes.
June might bring tunes
of May’s pretty scenes
with hours of flowers
found in a dream.
The scented commented
days that protrude
might become sunshine
that’s misconstrued.
Blossoms so awesome
June does bestow
in day to day segues
flowers that grow.

Peaceful Endeavor

One time a city
let walls to fall down
making the city
to harness a frown.
One time a person
that lived thereunto
found that the city
was needing anew.
One time a city
had minds full of war
leaving a city
that ones did abhor.
It takes some people
of peaceful device
to make a city
a little more nice.
One time a city
was seemingly dead,
due to the anger
ones held there instead.
It takes a few
to gather together
filled full of love
with peaceful endeavor
to change the views
of ones cities scenes
to what that many
only saw in their dreams.

Saturdays Turnstile

Saturdays sunshine
finds ways to be
of the very greatest
sunshine to see.
Saturdays moments
may be as rain
yet it is Saturday
not to complain.
Saturdays turnstile
brings in this year
numerous blessings
to see and to hear.
Saturdays sunshine
may be not found
due to the rain clouds
found all around.
But of course Saturday
gives ways to see
that which the sunshine
makes things to be.

Lost In The Waves

I’ve seen flavors
of clouds passing by
high up above me
floating in the sky.
I’ve tasted raindrops
tasty and sweet
on a summers day
that none could compete.
I’ve smelled flowers
of many a scent
and found flavors
of Godly intent.
I’ve heard music
from birds up above
that seem to be so
filled full of love.
I’ve seen angels
in different designs
some just fulfilling
the moments of times.
I’ve seen hopeful
come from harmony
as it was gathered
from our history.
Look back in time
and see what you saw
and you might see then
time of much awe.
The timeframes uncovered
from other days
might be the flavors
lost in the waves.

We’re Given Chances

A mere instance
might fade away
and leave wanting
for another day.
Some instances
are given true
as timeframes for me
and timeframes for you.
So many people
leave time at waste
as they go doing
what God does distaste.
We’re given chances,
an instant in time
minutes as blessings
from God Sublime.
A mere instance
might be destroyed
by doing something
that minutes enjoyed.

A Misprinted Book

Sometimes an eyeful
might just complete
many distractions
for time to compete.
Often our bitterness
will be as found
from one just simply
looking around.
If you’re not happy
where that you are
look deep within then
not then too far.
You might be needing
some help to perceive
things that this moment’s
causing to grieve.
Sometimes our choices
are not so good,
for our own visions
are misunderstood.
We ourselves sometimes
can only see
what that this minute
allows it to be.
Take a step back
and then have a look.
You might be reading
a misprinted book.

Summertime

In comes summertime
soon after spring
with all the birdies
beginning to sing.
Summertime’s sunshine
brings into view
days to be made
into something new.
All of the scenery
somehow some way
enhances summertime’s
day after day.
Sun driven moments
with star driven nights
come from sceneries
summertime sights.
Hanging up pictures
as if on a wall,
summertime’s awaiting
beginning of fall.

Sometimes The Problems

In times of trouble
kneel down and pray
and God will guide you
with His Will and Way.
In times of burdens
say a little prayer
and God will guide you
with His love and care.
When you are worried
about what you see
say a little prayer
and set worries free.
Times we encounter
might not seem right,
yet God is there
with His Guiding Light.
Sometimes the problems
are what we need
to in the future
help us succeed.

Haiku
for May 8, 2010

Letting go of time
gives a chance for tomorrow
that can blossom great.

So much confusion
is brought on by ignorance
and not asking why.

Now is remembered
as a stepping stone of life
sometimes from anger.

Details of flowers
are found in the aromas
while also the sight.

Some seek the blessings
while others seek the journey
that leads to nowhere.

Countless confusion
is the essence of many
that walk on blindly.

Today’s tomorrow
while tomorrow’s yet to come.
Let time run its course.

In the midst of now
leaves the footprints of people
just trying to live.

The oceans deep depths
is where that we know nothing,
but our conclusions.

The vastness of space
paints a picture in my mind
that we’re not alone.

Most of our journeys
begin by a simple thought
found so curious.

Templates of summer
are begun throughout springtime
as time goes its way.

Most of our limits
are put on ourselves through fear
of not succeeding.

Pain makes a statement
that’s sometimes twisted around
ignoring the lessons.

Looking at yourself
you might not see so clearly
what others can see.

In shadows of time
are the minutes of wonder
that many conclude.

Summertime’s rainfall
brings waters that are needed
to make flowers grow.

Found in dilemma
some might choose their paths wrongly
and end in sorrow.

Use the directions
that you’ve discovered through time
as lessons to learn.

Looking in mirrors
only reflects what’s outside.
Look inside your heart.

Vanishing moments
come from lack of remembrance.
Take time to record.

Earning your wages
does not always mean from work.
It’s also from life.
