ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s a pretty day today.  There’s clouds in the
sky forming artwork for the dreamers.  Yes
July has begun with much beauty for our sky
today.  The temperature isn’t too bad either 🙂
Nope,  it’s a high of 73 F degrees today which
is what it is now at 5 PM.  We’ve gotten a little
rain off and on the passed few days,  but it’s
supposed to be nice tomorrow as well aside
from being a tad warmer with a high of 81 F.
Tuesday’s supposed to be partly cloudy with the
same temp as Monday,  but then after that it’s
supposed to drop back to the mid to lower 70’s
as it shows rain for the rest of the week.  So,
all in all,  July has shown us a smile,  though
I’m exhausted with not being able to sleep due
to aches,  pains and other which there is not
a remedy for,  so I have to deal with it 🙂  I
reckon I’ll be hanging back with the boys
tomorrow to try and get some rest while Judy
goes over to her sister’s house to celebrate
the 4th.  I would go,  but I doubt I would be
very sociable being so exhausted.  Although,
that could change between now and then,
but I’m doubting it.   Judy and I had go to
Walmart a little while ago to pick up a few
things we forgot yesterday and we forgot a
few more things hehehe,  so we will have to
return sometime this week.  Had a list,  but
forgot to put a few things on it LOL.  That’s
life at the Pearce’s Place 🙂  I was trying to
pick up Rocky this morning and he squirmed
a bit and fell and I think he bruised his leg.
He’s been limping a bit,  but he still uses it
and he has strength in it so I don’t think it’s
broken,  but if he doesn’t get better in the
next day,  we’ll take him to the vet.  I think
he just bruised it or pulled a muscle,  being
he didn’t fall that far.  Keep the little guy in
your prayers.  LOL he was able to jump up
on our bed and off again though and that
tells me that it’s just sore.  Anyways,  next
topic.  We’re still making additions to the
lighthouse that Judy and I built.  I was going
to put it outside so the solar light could get
some sunshine and charge the battery,  but
then thought about our boys and how they
tend to think everything is a fire hydrant 🙂
So we bought a large heavy plant holder
that we’ve turned upside down to set the
lighthouse upon.  Now I’ve gotta buy some
long screws to bolt it down.  The screws
were one of the things we forgot to buy 🙂
Judy took some pictures of the lighthouse
sitting on the plant pot and it looks pretty
cool.  Sometime this week we’ll get back to
the store to buy screws hehehe.  Then the
marking and drilling will commence.  We’re
anxious to see it sitting outside and not in
our living room LOL.  I’ll put a picture of
it sitting on top of the plant holder where it
will be bolted on permanently sometime
this week.  There should be enough weight
to prevent it from blowing over too easily 🙂
OK,  next topic.  Hmm,  Oh yea,  Judy and
I took a ride on our bikes in the field the
other day and the boys ran along with us.
I’m going to have to try and tighten down
my handle bars so they don’t move though.
When standing up peddling,  a lot of my
weight is on them and they tended to aim
down on me LOL.  I might though have to
just try to not put my weight on them when
standing up peddling.  We love our bikes,
but it’s going to take a while before we are
able to ride them a mile or so 🙂  In time I’m
sure we’ll be riding them down to Cameron’s
Market and maybe even further.  When we
feel that either of us is able,  we’ll go and
get the doggy trailer out of storage that we
bought to attach to the back of one of the
bikes and bring them along with us.  But
for now,  we’re doing good just toting our
own selves along LOL.  We’ll still take a
few rides in the field where the boys can run
along with us.  Of course we will also take
our walks out in the field time to time as
well with our four legging boys bouncing
around with smiles on their faces.  They do
so love to go out in the field and explore 🙂
but they’re not allowed to go without us.
All in all the Pearce’s Place is still doing
well.  We have our share of pitfalls,  but we
manage to make it through them with help
from God.  Jesus is always with us giving
us the strength to do what we need to do.
There are a lot of things that we wish that
we were able to do,  but at this moment in
time we are unable and may never be able,
but we have what we need.  I pray for those
that are totally in a the realm of misery with
no sign in their sight of it becoming better.
I pray that God reaches down and gives a
needed boost to help them find the things
that they need.  Life can be very stressful
as we do not know the future and right now
might look glum.  Sometimes faith and not
giving up provides the answers,  but maybe
not right away.  I’ve been down those dark
Hell bent roads of life to where I saw nothing
but misery,  but God sent an angel to give
me that needed boost to get me back on my
feet and then he was gone.  I didn’t know his
name.  I just called him friend,  buddy or pal.
God has strange ways of working that are
beyond our comprehension and we might not
even know He is right beside us guiding our
way through others,  but it happens.  Have
peace knowing that hopeless is only a word
that has no power unless you give up and let
Satan win.  Give hopeful a motion in your
life as you continue to strive to do your best
even if troubles come your way.  OK,  now
I believe it’s time for me to be heading back
through all that I’ve written here to see if I
can find a good word or phrase that I can use
for the title for today’s brand new poem.  So,
it’s off I go to that place of my recollection
that I always like to call RECOLLECT
VILLE.  I do though think I found a decent
title on the 2nd line of my rambling hehehe.
Now to see if I can do anything with it LOL.
Here goes nothing hehehe.  Might be true.

Artwork For The Dreamers

Billowing clouds above me now
display a wondrous scene
paintings in the sky of blue
with clouds that intervene.
Artwork for the dreamers
to take to heights so grand
and memorize exquisitely
how each cloud does expand.
Artwork for the dreamers
with paintings that explode
changes in the sky above
with raindrops heavy load.
The stage is set for them to see
the sights from thereunto,
artwork for the dreamers
within the sky of blue.
Dreams of things so very high
that look like oceans steamers
sailing in the sky above,
artwork for the dreamers.

Okie dokie,  there ya go 🙂  I hope you liked the
poem.  I know,  I often let my mind drift away
into a dream land while writing.  I think it does
us all good to dream from time to time.  Even if
your dreams might be a tad silly.  Many of mine
are LOL.  It helps me to write my poetry.  If we
did not have dreams,  then sadness would just
envelop us.  But,  in that same note,  don’t let
the dreams to become all that you do and you
lose track of reality.  That can be painful LOL,
especially if you dream you can fly and then
jump off of the garage and find out that you
cannot fly but only 1 way and that is DOWN.
LOL when I was a little kid I had watched
some parachuters on TV and thought that
my bed sheet would work as a parachute 🙂
I don’t guess I need to tell you how I landed.
Anyways,  I was a little kid maybe 5 or 6
and I climbed the ladder that my dad left
leaning up against the garage and I didn’t
float gracefully down LOL.  That taught me
the true essence of gravity 🙂  I’m sure you
have all done or had thoughts of trying out
something that you thought might work 🙂
That’s how we learn,  the hard way I might
add hehehe.  Well,  last I heard,  my sister
is doing well and still going through all of
the cancer treatments.  Peggy was over
moms house the other day and mom said
she seemed to be handling it well.  So now
I guess it’s time for me to be telling you
what I tell you almost every week and
that is,  I wrote some more poems and
haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more poems with 1
of them this time being a Christmas poem.
I also wrote once again 22 haiku for all
of the haiku lovers out there.  I hope you
can find 1 or 2 of either or both that you
like.  So now I reckon it’s time for me to
begin my search for that not so great at
hiding off switch,  but not before I wish
you a most wonderful weekend or what
that’s left of it and a truly blessings filled
week as well as a HAPPY 4TH of July.
Now to find that ornery off switch that
is utterly horrible at hide and seek LOL.
Hmm,  I think I spy with my 1 good eye
something that looks out of place and
is moving just a bit.  Yep,  I see ya you
silly little thing.  Hiding behind the phone
might of worked well if you had been
behind the actual telephone and not the
answering machine.  The phone is a
bit taller LOL.  You’re getting better 🙂
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S  A link to Judy’s new book as at
the end of the journal along with the
others.  Enjoy 🙂

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Shadows Dreams

Day meets shadows,
night meets dreams
times discovered
rivers,  streams.
Stages set up
showing signs
shadows dreams
their own designs.
Each with windows
showing true
what the shadows
dream to do.
Seasons break through
with their way
moments gathered
to display.
Shadows dreams
find their place
flavored with a
longing face.
Shadows move on
leaving style
for the dreams to
reconcile.
Then as ages
move along
shadows dreams
wll sing their song.

Looks Of Life

Beyond nowadays
life moves on
painting pictures
then and gone.
Minutes added
to the hours
gives the moments
life empowers.
Stormy thinking
brings to view
looks of life
from thereunto.
Lessons learned as
bumpy roads
looks of life
right then explodes.
Ventured feelings
come in frame
looks of life
a moments name.
Then as minutes
gather true
looks of life
are me and you.

That Wondrous Season

With candy cane windows
and sweet sugar smiles
Christmas is found in
so many styles.
That wondrous season
with hearts all aglow
with joyful songs playing
on an old radio.
Snowflakes found falling
as children unite
to build them a snowman
big,  round and white.
That wondrous season
where lights twinkle too,
strings upon houses
of red,  green and blue.
Time becomes echoes
with Jesus as reason
found amidst wintertime
that wondrous season.
Glimpses of hopeful
is found at this time
that wondrous season
of Christmas divine.

The Light Inside

A heart beating
shows its path
sometimes crying
then to laugh.
Through the windows
of our mind
might be doorways
yet to find.
The light inside
might not be bright,
but be with
some hopeful light.
Shining dimly
yet with style,
the light inside
might form a smile.
Then as mirrors
you and I
the light inside
begins to fly.
Forming feathers
like a bird
what your thinking
word for word.
The light inside
becomes a choice
followed by
a moments voice.
So don’t let
yourself to hide,
for time might show
the light inside.

A Summer Mind

The windy days
that come and go
a summer mind
will seek to know.
Swimming waters
surely wet
a summer mind
begins to sweat.
Rain clouds forming
their design
found within
a summer mind.
Then the mornings
bright to see
show the summers
specialty.
Tinted with a
streak of light
a summer mind
is there in sight.
The days move on
to then transcend
a summer mind
with summer wind.
Through the nights
of summertime
life is still
a summer mind.

To Go Beyond Then

A doorway to passion
with love to explode
finds stars displaying
a Heavenly road.
Found with some moonlight
on a rippling pond
seconds meet minutes
that time marches on.
The scenes are decorated
with a magical flare
to go beyond then
in the star glistened air.
Hearts are uniting
as time moves along
displaying chances
from dusk unto dawn.
To go beyond then
displays such a time,
found as a dream world
inside of your mind.
Search for the truthful
that’s better have been
before you attempt to
go beyond then.
The doorway to passion
might need you to wait
and not hurry onwards
to seek for your fate,
for often our hurry
will find troubles roads
as dynamite seeking
what hurry explodes.

Climbing Upwards

Highest mountains
seek our glance,
climbing upwards
chance by chance.
Hopeful patterns
find their phase,
climbing upwards
distant days.
Our momentum
shows the view,
climbing upwards
or too few.
It’s our choices
daily found
that shows how we
get around.
Climbing upwards
good on track
or just using
someone’s back.
Don’t use others
as a tool,
for in the end
you’ll be the fool.
Climbing upwards
needs your own
strength and will
to carry on.
Your own footsteps
daily found
shows your strength
upon the ground.

The Winding Road

My life’s a journey
bumps and holes
found with many
wanted goals.
The winding road
I walked upon
found me often
there and gone.
Lost on side streets
with dead ends
found so lonely
without friends.
Then I found my
footsteps made
on the winding
road I laid.
Journey’s through
the darker side,
the winding road
that I denied.
Until the day
I chose to turn,
the winding road
still left a burn.
Yet then after
I was changed
the winding road
was rearranged.
I found hopeful
from my past,
lessons learned
as shadows cast.
The winding road
gave me a view
life of times
from thereunto.
Now the winding
roads I drive
are with God
to stay alive.
Finding truthful
in my ways
the winding road
is better days.
Not with hopeless,
but with prayer
the winding road
to everywhere.

Nobody’s There

A sound in the dark
as a knock on the door
displays such a thing
I wish to explore.
I open the door up
and look everywhere
and I find that surely
nobody’s there.
The knock’s heard again
as I’m walking away
and I turn once again
while starting to pray.
I open the door up
and again there’s no one.
I look side to side
and think I should run.
But then in a moment
right after my prayer,
I hear no more knocking,
there’s nobody there.

Partly Cloudy

Skies of beauty
blue and white
partly cloudy
is a sight.
Like a window
opened wide
partly cloudy
comes inside.
With its artwork
whites and grays
partly cloudy
paints the days.
Blue skies only
without clouds
seem to me
as empty shrouds.
Without pictures,
without phase,
skies of blue are
lonely days.
Yet the pictures
become seen
partly cloudy
wondrous sheen.
So when mundane
fills your eyes
search for partly
cloudy skies.

Haiku
for July 2,  2016

Now is a moment
that will soon be in our past
as our memories.

Summertime’s lifestyle
changes with each blossom bloomed
while rains come and go.

Seeing life clearly
needs eyes that are not focused
on what they’re wanting.

Beyond a storm cloud
holds the hopes for a rainbow
and life giving rain.

Tomorrows windows
will often only see dreams
and not what that’s there.

A steep mountainside
can be a treacherous place
for a beginner.

Flowing as a stream,
life can have many changes
that lead you astray.

Lost in a turnstile
someone might go in circles
and not the way out.

A greedy person
will lead a wanted lifestyle
that might dig their grave.

Looking passed large trees
a small oak will sit and wait
for its time to shine.

A feather floating
will look as though it’s alive
while seeking the ground.

Time is a moment
that many will overlook
until it’s needed.

Lost in perception
are the scenes many will see
while rubbernecking.

Artwork of the sky
is a painting created
that’s always changing.

Morning’s own shadow
brings forth a wondrous moment
that God’s created.

Sunshine on flowers
gives the essence of beauty
a flair for design.

Having a heartbeat
does not mean you are loving.
It means you’re alive.

Love of the ocean
brings waves into many dreams
as a beach side life.

Change is a motion
that many fail to acknowledge,
until it’s too late.

Knowing who you are
does not display perfection,
but who you are not.

Guiding lights above
that twinkle within the night
are blessings from God.

Across a valley
holds a place of deception
that dreams will provide.
