Where We Need To Be

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been a sort of rainy passed few days up
here,  but nothing compared to what I have
been seeing others hit with.  Also,  it’s been
fairly nice temperature wise.  The high for
today is 59 F which is what it is right now
at 2 PM.  It’s supposed to be a bit warmer
beginning tomorrow,  but still not too bad 🙂
Tomorrows high is supposed to be around
76 F degrees.  We’ve had a fairly peaceful
week.  Judy and I took the boys out for a
few field trips and took a lot of pictures 🙂
The boys always enjoy going for a run in
the field.  LOL they tend to become deaf
when they get out there too.  Hollering at
the top of my lungs they will still ignore me
when I say it’s time to go home unless of
course they are ready and or hungry and
thirsty hehehe.  Rocky will usually be the
first to acknowledge that he hears me,  but
Benny will do his best to block me out of
his mind up until he sees me walking up
to him and then he starts paying attention.
LOL in any case,  they’re good boys.  A
bit ornery at times,  but good boys hehehe.
They’re both sleeping in the floor in their
doggy beds right between Judy and I at
the moment.  Next topic.  We had a nice
4th of July.  I stayed home with the boys
while Judy went over to her sister’s house
for a cookout.  I wasn’t feeling up to being
around a lot of people.  I had not gotten
any sleep and I figured I would  of been
irritable and just been miserable.  I did
though finally when I got a little bit of rest
take the boys out for a little field trip and
even got a picture of me and the boys on
the porch.  Nope no fireworks.  I don’t
do fireworks,  but I don’t mind watching
them 🙂  Though there were none to see
near where we live.  Judy said that they
didn’t shoot off fireworks at her sister’s
house either maybe due to the fact that
they have 4 yorkies.  Anyways,  she said
she had a nice time,  but was happy to
get home.  The boys totally missed her 🙂
Judy’s been busy writing another book.
I am so proud of that gal.  It’s nice to
see her back at writing.  She has quite
an imagination and writing fiction is
right up her alley.  She is also a pretty
good poet.  She doesn’t write near as
much as I do,  but then I know no one
that writes as much as I do hehehe 🙂
None the less,  she’s my favorite author.
Well,  it looks like the temperature is
going down now.  It’s 57 F degrees at
3:30 PM and it feels GREAT to me 🙂
It’s sprinkling a bit.  The boys hate to
go outside when it’s raining LOL.  We
literally have to shove them outside
to go potty sometimes.  It’s either that
or finding pee and poop around the
house.  Benny of course would rather
just hold it rather than go out in the
rain,  which often leads to him with
a facial expression looking like he’s
in deep thought LOL.  We don’t want
the boys to become constipated or for
that matter have their bladders burst
so outside they go, rain sleet or snow.
We’ve tried a potty pad,  but could
never get them to use it for anything
other than something to chew apart
with pads found strung out around the
house LOL.  The good part is,  that
they both love the snow and in most
cases,  Benny would rather be out in
the snow instead of inside,  but then
he does get cold and that’s when he
will finally be ready to come inside to
warm up.  We’ve bought them doggy
sweaters and raincoats,  but they are
not so crazy about them hehehe.  We
do though put them on them when we
feel it’s necessary.  Yeppers,  this old
house has a lot of entertainment if you
are not hard to be entertained hehehe.
Judy’s in the kitchen now preparing
our dinner.  She’s making chicken and
dumplings in the Crock Pot.  It should
be ready in 3 or 4 hours.  She makes
good chicken and dumplings 🙂  Judy
and I take turns cooking dinner and
what not.  That’s the way it should be.
I see no reason that the wife or the
husband should be locked into 1 thing
that they are to do unless of course
there are health issues preventing you
from doing things.  I was raised up in
a home that mom and dad took turns
doing dishes if they did not stand side
by side,  one washing, one drying and
they often would trade off on who did
dinner.  The same with mowing the
lawn.  It was who ever was able to do
it that mowed the lawn.  My mom has
mowed the lawn many times hehehe.
My sister wasn’t too crazy about it
until we got a riding lawnmower and
then we could hardly get her off of it.
LOL talk about wild.  That of course
was way back when we lived out in
the country down near south shore
at Lake Tawakani in Texas.  Those
were the days.  I enjoyed going fishing
with my Pawpaw on the lake late at
night.  We would head out in his boat
to our favorite fishing spots and just
sit and enjoy the sounds of the water
as it lapped against the side of the boat.
We’d catch us a mess of fish and then
head home and clean them side by side
while Grandmother waited to take them
and either put them in the freezer or fry
them up for dinner that night.  Those
were the greatest of times.  I will never
forget all of the blessings from those
years.  Grandmother made the BEST
fried apple pies I ever tasted.  She would
make up a batch of them and send them
across the road to me and I’d eat them
up and send back the plate for a refill 🙂
Yeppers,  God gave me many things to
be grateful for.  It makes me wish at
times that I had never grown up and
time could of stood still,  but that would
not be reality and would of prevented
me from the blessings of today and all
of the blessings I found throughout my
life.  Still the memories live on.  Thank
You God,  for all that you have given to
me and all that you have allowed to make
me a better man.  Have you thanked God
lately for the things that you may have
gone through that actually strengthened
you,  but at the moment were miserable?
If not,  then why not today.  God gives us
blessings every day,  but so often they are
in form of things we need to go through
to get us where we need to be.  The sad
part is that many will give up before they
find the lessons and throw in the towel.
Have faith that it will all work out to
the way that it is meant to be if you just
do the best you can and not become so
judgmental that you push others away
because of your pride,  ego or beliefs.
Now,  I believe it’s time for me to be
taking my little journey back through
all that I’ve written here to see if I can
find a good word or phrase that I can use
for the title for today’s brand new poem.
I think I may have stumbled on a good
title just a few lines back.  Now let’s see
if I can do anything with it.  Here goes 🙂

Where We Need To Be

As a time frames displayed
and our journeys degrade
where we need to be
might surely be inlaid.
The tools of our existence
are the things we’ve been through
time frames encountered
to do what they do.
The blessings of a moment
might look just like a weed,
but the facts of a minute
might give what we need.
Yes,  where we need to be
might look a bit insane
but as the minutes turn
we’ll look upon the gain.
The stories of our journeys
might so early be of hate,
but where we need to be
might surely show its fate.
Sometimes what we’re wanting
is not so good to see
and God will change the pathways
where we need to be.

There ya go.  I hope you liked the poem and
maybe even understood it.  Also I hope you
enjoyed my rambling.  We live a quiet life up
here.  OK,  so it’s not always quiet especially
when the boys want treats LOL.  Aside from
that though it’s usually pretty peaceful.  Our
landlord came by yesterday and did a little
weed eating in front of our house.  Judy was
over at her brother’s house with a few other
family members cleaning it up a bit so that
if Ricky is ever able to come home from the
nursing home,  it will be waiting,  but sad
to say,  the house is in much disrepair and it
might cost too much to fix.  Anyways,  when
she got home she noticed that Calvin cut
all of the Daisies with his weed whacker 🙂
I said,  they’ll grow back hehehe.  After all
they are just pretty weeds LOL.  She knew
that,  but I just couldn’t help myself.  They
are very pretty the same as Dandelions,
but even they are but only just pretty weeds.
LOL I think at some point in their lifespan
they must of figured out that if we bloom
a pretty flower,  then people won’t want
to cut us down hehehe.  Ya can’t tell me
that plants don’t think LOL.  So before
I get into rambles mode again I need to
ask you once again to please keep Peggy,
my sister in your prayers and also my old
bro Mark Green.  He had some blood
clots removed and he is now in a lot of
pain from the surgeries.  So now it’s time
for me to be telling you what I tell you
almost every week and that is I wrote
some more poems and haiku.  Yeppers,
10 more poems with 1 being a Christmas
poem.  I also once again wrote 22 haiku
for all of the haiku lovers out there. Oh
yea,  yesterday I got in the writing mode
and wrote 4 more poems and so that ups
to number of poems to 14 🙂  I hope you
can find 1 or 2 of either or both that you
like.  Now I believe it’s time for me to
begin my search for that not so great at
hiding off switch,  but not before I wish
you a most wonderful weekend or what
ever is left of it and a truly blessings
filled week.  Remember,  Jesus loves
you and we do too.  Alrighty then LOL,
where are ya hiding this week ya little
whippersnapper?  Hmm,  that couldn’t
be you that I see playing peekaboo in
a paper towel that is lying right in front
of me,  could it be?  LOL 🙂 yep,  once
again you’re need to see if I can see you
has foiled you again.  Try harder please.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S  A link to Judy’s new book as at
the end of the journal along with the
others.  Enjoy 🙂

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10+4 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Thinking Thoughts

Times remembered
certain cost
find us often
thinking thoughts.
Then as echoes
found repeated
giving what all
that we needed.
Thinking thoughts
of wants desires
often builds some
hefty fires.
Lessons growing
then become
patterns of a
drummers drum.
Rhythms sing
a mornings frost
found in moments
thinking thoughts.

Summer Begins

The season shines
what days record
timeless frames
from my sweet Lord.
Summer begins
with scenes we find
some with photos,
some with mind.
Captured pictures
time transcends
spending summer
with our friends.
Sometimes swimming
having fun
underneath
that summer sun.
The stage is set
for seasons sights
summers days
and summers nights.
Often filled with
much emotion
on a sea shore
by the ocean.
Yet so many
old and gray
just enjoying
day by day.
Sitting watching
time transcends
breezes blowing
summer begins.

Without Yesterday

The times we’ve seen
or learned to view
are surely lessons
through and through.
Without yesterday
we could not find
the tools to use
to shape our mind.
It’s through the past
that now displays
lessons learned
from yesterdays.
Pages we’ve turned
to help succeed
while many seek wants
and others seek need.
Without yesterday
our time would be new
lessons ungathered
to show what to do.
So look at what’s done
and now on display
for we cannot grow
without yesterday.

Simply Bewildered

A minute will come
and then fall from sight
leaving you wondering
what’s wrong or right.
Simply bewildered
the time frames might be
found as your focus
on times history.
A book with a cover
might wrongly display
words deep within it
that many will say.
Simply bewildered
a moment might find
you with confusion
of some point and time.
Often our emotions
will be out of tune
simply bewildered
from sun unto moon.

Seeking The Snow

The sun of the summer
shines down oh so bright
as seasonal pictures
are found every sight.
It’s too hot to handle
this summertime view,
so I’m seeking the snow
to fall down anew.
Wanting those snowflakes
so white fancy free
to provide all the changes
in summer I see.
Then as the snowflakes
display day and night
I’ll know that Christmas
will soon be in sight.
That sweet Christmas music
will chime through the air
blessings uncountable
filled full of prayer.
Yes,  I’m seeking the snow
through summertime days,
because I love Christmas
its magical ways.
Heartfelt emotions
just seem to explode
Christmastimes value
that hearts have bestowed.
So seeking the snow
is a pathway I trod
though there are many
that think I am odd.
The true path of snowflakes
is that of pure white
the same of Lord Jesus
His Love shining bright.
Time becomes glimmers
of life to and fro
found within Christmastime
seeking the snow.

Our Connections

You and I
we’re connected
through the past
that times collected.
Our connections
you and I
are created
low and high.
The beginning
showed but one
our connections
was begun.
Then was two
with times detail
our connections
had set sail.
Love brought more
to become seen
our connections
from a gene.
Life’s emotions
finds a way
our connections
to display.
Time is counted
by and by
our connections
then apply.
We’ve so many
young and old
our connections
story’s told.
Yet it’s factual
we must be
some connections
we can’t see.
Some will push
and some will shove
our connections
less of love.
But the only
peace we’ll find
is our connections
peace of mind.

Pandora’s Box

Looking fast forward
throughout many words
some tell their lies
like a large flock of birds.
Not having truthful
with all that is spoken
Pandora’s box is
found as wide open.
Miseries turnstile
comes into view
as all of your lies
will come and haunt you.
A liars own lifestyle
might never find peace
unless all the lying
finds truthful release.
Yet if the liars den
does not detox
the pain from the game
finds Pandora’s Box.

A Penny For Price

Mornings arrival
brings forth a scene,
sometimes as white,
sometimes as green.
Each moment displayed
brings into frame
a new days emotion
that’s not of the same.
A penny for price
might seem not a cost,
but some for a penny
is greater the loss.
It’s whom that is seeing
those moments displayed
that determines the price
in how they’re portrayed.
You might not see clear
the same as another,
a penny for price
might be a bit further.
We all have a view
through eyes that we see
a penny for price
might blossom for free.
God gives us scenes
to discover each day,
but so many only
just throw them away.
A penny for price
might not seem a lot,
but to other people,
can never be bought.

Beneath The Moon

Through night the stars
will shine and sing
with song and dance
and all they bring.
Beneath the moon
the shadows show
true life on Earth
and how we grow.
The stars will glitter
shining bright
with ones watching
all the night.
Beneath the moon
so many find
a heartfelt love
inside their mind.
That moon so large
with essence found
displays journeys
all around.
The oceans tide
will grow and cease
beneath the moon
and give us peace.
A sliver of moon
that shimmers and shines
is even better
than moonless times.
The scenes of shadows
will sing and dance
beneath the moon
through its romance.
Many heartbeats
beneath the moon
will search the stars
and start to swoon.
Life as a rhythm
finds ways to sing,
beneath the moon
each season to spring.
Moments of joyful
counted so true,
beneath the moon
our lives are anew.

Tomorrow’s Hope

Lives beginning
young to old
tomorrow’s hope
will unfold.
Like a story
written true
tomorrow’s hope
comes into view.
Some close minded,
some just blind
tomorrow’s hope
for all man kind.
Many people
only see
tomorrow’s hope
that they agree.
It’s our standards
wanted gain
tomorrow’s hope
is drove insane.
Take a breath now
look inside
tomorrow’s hope
that is denied.
It’s ones egos
found so large
tomorrow’s hope
that wants in charge.
Lose the blindness
seek to see
tomorrow’s hope
for you and me.
Don’t let prideful
to destroy
tomorrow’s hope
that can employ.
Men and women
you and I
tomorrow’s hope
needs fresh supply.

A Heartbeats Second

Ticking as a minutes time
a heartbeats second sounds
ringing through the atmosphere
and all that then surrounds.
A heartbeat of a second is
a time that many see,
while some might just look away
to not see you and me.
Love is a true emotions sense
that finds us near and far
within a heartbeats second found
beneath a falling star.
Time begins its pathway seen
as many find their way
to a heartbeats second then
another distant day.
Love is such a potent force
it finds its way to park
in anothers time and space
in daylight and in dark.
The heartbeat is a rhythm true
that finds ones to discern
as the seconds tick away
for love to have a turn.
For within a heartbeats second
time becomes a place
found when people search inside
to find love face to face.

Chance Of Rain

Clouds are forming
in the sky,
bringing chances
rain to fly.
Scenes becoming
times to see,
chance of rain
a slight degree.
Pathways driven
downward motion,
some with rain
into the ocean.
A book of clouds
will open wide
giving raindrops
quite a ride.
Some upon
our windowpane,
scenes I find
a chance of rain.

Looking Passed

Now is certain
not for sure
ticking passage
time to pour.
Looking passed the
now and then
yesterday might
not have been.
Lessons learned as
wisdom’s pain
looking passed then
shows insane.
True emotions
finds ones dead
looking in their
moments head.
Many people
move to fast
missing lessons
looking passed.

The Typhoons Life

Typhoons blowing,  maybe growing
screaming day and night.
Winds bestowing,  tree limbs blowing
giving such a fright.
Life’s emotions from the oceans
typhoons weather wind.
Many notions for the motions
find ones to transcend.
Moments hurry finds much worry
night and day to see.
Typhoons scurry,  making blurry
all that is to be.
Seasons turning,  times discerning
pages found with pain.
Typhoons whirring,  minutes burning
making ones insane.
Prayer then gathers what that matters
life to find relief
as ones rather finds what matters
filling ones with peace.
The typhoons life that was with strife
is then without a way
while seasons rife that roared to life
finds a better day.
Prayer is flourished,  making nourished
strength to find within
while encouraged,  not discouraged
sunshine to begin.

Haiku
for July 8,  2016

Lines upon faces
show directions of journey’s
that many can’t read.

The book of a rose
has many lives within it
from winter to spring.

Clouds up above us
that dance with their emotions
might soon dissipate.

A starry picture
found in the sky above us
tells us a story.

Painted in a field
are daisies bright and yellow
giving it contrast.

Early in spring
the dandelions take hold
and become our yard.

June brings us sunshine
and July brings us much rain,
while August awaits.

The wants of many
are often ignored by ones
that have much to give.

Windows illusion
is a place of aloneness
for ones that are blind.

Searching for a heart
finds many looking blindly
only seeing skin.

Heat of the moment
provides chances for seconds
that you might regret.

Last might become first
as the tortoise and the hare
found with much ego.

The winds emotions
come as breezes that will change
to some hurricanes.

Life is a picture
with many different views
and ways which to feel.

Deciphering ones thoughts
might find many wrong answers,
for you are not them.

A weed of hopeful
pretends to be a flower
so not to be mowed.

Change is a viewpoint
that many see as cloudy
while others see clear.

The Artist above
paints the sky with His fingers
and forms a new day.

Lost in the flowers
a butterfly is beauty
that soon finds its way.

The splash of raindrops
falling and making puddles
gives sounds to sleep by.

Cherishing beauty
will help it to continue
so others can see.

A sweet summer’s rain
gives relief to the flowers
and cools down the day.
