ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s another week gone by and the beginning
of yet another.  Last week was pretty much the
same old same old.  We took the boys out in
the field for a run and we made a few trips into
town.  Judy and her sisters and daughters did
crafts on Friday and Judy made a real pretty
picture window.  It’s still sort of in the works
though.  Our grandson Christian came and spent
Thursday and Thursday night with us and we
had a great time watching videos.  The boys
are doing well.  Benny is in the living room on
his favorite recliner as always LOL.  Rocky
is in the floor right next to me lying in a doggy
bed.  Temperature wise,  this passed week as
well as today has been very nice.  A little on
the muggy/humid side,  but not too warm.  Of
course I cannot handle much heat over 80 F
degrees,  but thankfully we have our portable
air conditioner.  Life at the Pearce’s Place
is still kicking up the dust hehehe.  We have
plans for this week,  just not sure when we
will do them.  Thinking about heading down
south of us to Baxter State Park and making
a day of picture taking.  We will be taking
the boys to Katahdin Critters and leave them
because dogs are not allowed in the park.
But again,  we have not quite made up our
minds when to go.  I’m sure we’ll take a ton
of pictures when we go though.  I can’t wait.
The weather has been staying in the lower
80’s and mid to upper 70’s for the passed
week and as I look at my weather program
I see that’s also the forecast for this week.
Yep,  not too bad.  I guess global change
is not affecting us too bad.  I think when
we’ll notice it most is wintertime,  but time
will tell.  It looks like we might get a little
rain today.  It rained a bit yesterday and
off and on throughout the week.  A strong
but short lived storm came through here
yesterday,  but the biggest part missed us
thank God.  I don’t think this place could
handle 60 mile an hour winds.  50 mile an
hour yes,  60,  I do not know.  I’m sure
that God is watching over us and when
our time is up,  our time is up.  Yet for
now I think He still has plans for us and
the Pearce’s Place shall continue on its
journey through rambles ville and photos.
LOL I know,  many of you have never
seen the pictures that we take,  because
you’re on the text version of my journal.
Sorry,  the only way I know to resolve
that is for you to join Facebook or to
start receiving your email with a true
email client such as Outlook Express or
Windows live and not webmail hehehe.
There are other email clients out there
that will work as well.  Anyways,  yes we
love to take pictures of the scenery and
of course of these silly little boys of ours.
So back to the journal.  Judy and I took
another bike ride out in the field Monday
of last week and yes the boys ran right
along with us.  I’m getting better at using
my selfie stick LOL.  Not great,  but I am
getting better.  I took a few pictures of us
out in the field,  but I think they would of
turned out better if I had just brought and
used my tripod LOL.  Oh well,  I did get
a few good selfies with me wearing the
shirt that my loving daughter gave me last
Fathers day.  A Journey t shirt.  The county
has been working on the roads down our
ways for the passed week.  They’re trying
to get the road ready for wintertime.  Ice
and snow tend to mess them up pretty bad.
Those darned ice heaves can cause you
to lose your eyeteeth hehehe,  if of course
you still have them.  I haven’t any teeth to
worry about LOL.  Of course now that we
have our Nissan Rogue,  the bumps aren’t
quite as bad as they were when we were
in our lil red Mazda Protege with 13 inch
wheels hehehe.  Boy you could feel every
bump in that little car.  I still miss my little
red bomb.  I had that Mazda for almost 20
years and it served me well.  I know it’s
silly to get attached to a car,  but I had it
longer than I have had anything.  Judy
even misses that little car,  but we’re glad
to have our white Phantom.  Yep,  that’s
what we call our car.  It’s the name of the
color of it,  Phantom White 🙂  The boys
are busy now aggravating Judy for treats.
LOL,  they can be demanding at times 🙂
We love them.  They keep us amused and
happy.  Yes they have their moments that
they wear on our nerves like any dog or
child,  but we love them none the less 🙂
My weather program says that it is 69 F
degrees right now at 3:05 PM.  Gotta love
this weather 🙂 <3  I do not miss that old
Texas heat one bit LOL.  I do though miss
family and friends as well as being able to
go to Port Aransas.  Port Aransas will
always be one of Mine and Judy’s favorite
places.  We’ve got tons of pictures and
videos of our visits down there and we will
often take a photo voyage and relive all
of those wonderful moments in our minds.
Those pictures and videos bring back the
sights and sounds of the Port Aransas
shore.  We are hoping to be able to one
day return to Port A and have many more
experiences.  Thankfully though we’ve
got many forms of blessings that keep our
hearts pumping up here in Maine.  The
seasonal beauty becomes a masterpiece
as each day explodes with blessings.  I
am always in search of another picture
to take or video to capture.  Thank You
God for all of the wonderful things that
You have given Judy and I.  These boys
of ours are truly a blessing.  Judy and I
also have truly wonderful daughters that
we could not be more proud of.  I’m glad
that my daughter and I were able to let
the past be the past and find a future
that we could be more close.  Of course
she is in Texas,  but we are close at heart.
I love you Jamye and Sami.  I hope to
see yall again real soon.  My mom has
been a big help to Judy and I, for without
her we might not of made it.  I love you
mom.  Thank you for all that you have
done for Judy and I and especially all
that you have done for me in the past 🙂
Thank You God for all of these blessings.
For without You,  I would not be here
at all and I would be missing all of the
magic that goes on around me.  So now
with that said,  I reckon it’s time for me
to be taking a little trip back through
all of my rambling to see if I can find
a good word or phrase that I can use
for the title for today’s brand new poem.
So,  it’s away I go to that place of my
recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  I believe I may
have stumbled on a good title just about
a 3rd of the way back LOL.  Now let’s
see what if anything at all I can do with
it.  Here goes nothing hehehe Hope not.

A Photo Voyage

A timeless scene
in photographs,
those memories
of the past.
A photo voyage
to a place,
a page, a stage,
a smiling face.
A little venture
I remember
now that burns
as brightest ember.
My photographs
recall a time
the days and lives
of yours and mine.
The scenes become
a wondrous dream
a photo voyage
we once had seen.
All those moments
now live on,
a photo voyage
of days long gone.

So there ya go.  I hope you liked the poem.
Those memories still fuel poetry within me.
I hope my rambling didn’t put you to sleep.
LOL although,  if you needed a nap,  then
I hope it helped a little hehehe.  I do tend
to ramble a bit don’t I 🙂  I can’t help it LOL.
I’m just a rambling man.  So I wonder,  is
there anything that I need to tell you.  Well,
Judy’s sister Dena is doing fairly well.  She
came home from the hospital last weekend.
She had lung cancer.  She’s waiting on the
biopsy now.  Keep her in your prayers and
my sister Peggy is doing fairly well.  She’s
on the last leg of treatment for her cancer.
Please keep them both in your prayers.
Ok,  so I guess that’s about all I have for
ya this week.  Now it’s time for me to be
telling you what I tell you almost every
week and that is,  I wrote some more
poems and haiku.  Yep,  10 more poems
with 1 of them being sort of Christmassy.
Actually I wrote 1 more poem Saturday
to put in a picture so that ups the count
to 11 hehehe.  I also wrote 22 haiku for
all of the haiku lovers out there.  I hope
you can find 1 or 2 of either or both that
you like.  Now with that said I reckon
it’s time for me to be searching for that
confounded off switch,  but not before
I wish you a most wonderful weekend
or what that’s left of it if anything  and
a truly blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.   Now,
where could that off switch be hiding
this week?  Hmm,  let me think,  hmm,
I think I see movement behind my other
keyboard.  Yeppers,  I see ya.  You
almost went undetected there while you
were lying right beside my little Animal
figurine hehehe,  but ya moved and well,
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S  A link to Judy’s new book as at
the end of the journal along with the
others.  Enjoy 🙂

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10+1 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

A Silent Storm

A stormy sky
that ones can see
warns of times
for you and me.
But so often
is no alarm
to give a warning
silent storm.
Some will harness
all they feel
inside tightly
to conceal.
Yet a moment
might show true
a silent storm that
comes in view.

Monday Monday

The weekend’s passed now
I truly see
Monday Monday
ones don’t agree.
Some see Monday,
troubles begun
back to the grind stone
without fun.
Yet so many will
look and find
Monday Monday
great design.
The times beginnings
weeks release
Monday Monday
seeking peace.
Monday Monday
brings to view
life surmounted
fresh and new.
Then the week is
days to find
looking forwards
to weekends mind.

In The Evening

Time will come
and time will go
as each moment
finds its flow.
In the shadows
sun will shine
leaving glimmers
time to time.
In the evening
there’s a while
leaving hopeful
for a smile.
With it’s minutes
ticking on
in the evening’s
seeking dawn.
Soon the starlight
will be leaving
that’s now showing
in the evening.
So enjoy it
oh so true
in the evening
wondrous view.

A Dreamers Smile

The sense of a moment
that gathers no moss
can be a mere fraction
of lesser the loss.
The smile of a dreamer
will welcome a time,
a fantastical journey
with words of a rhyme.
Pages that are written
become a dreams book
sought for by hopeful
some moments to look.
In a dreamers smile
there becomes such a place
that’s found mesmerizing
scenes on a face.
Various turnstiles
bring forth a great view
of a dreamers smile
from then thereunto.

Demanding Time

Distant days,
now so gone
leave a phase
of dusk to dawn.
Demanding time
will take your peace
leaving bitter
to never cease.
Loose the hold of
each mistake.
Seek the future
wide awake.
Find the peaceful
here and there
found within
a moments prayer
Look for blessings
found divine.
Don’t be always
demanding time.

The Name Of The Game

Choices discernible
become as the game,
winning and losing
while ones go insane.
Lifestyles of many
are just out in space
and don’t see the weary
with lines on their face.
The name of the game
is a troublesome course
sometimes misleading
with greeds wanted force.
The choices with voices
can sometimes be sad,
because of the past days
journeys they had.
Time keeps on ticking
as the moments proclaim
that fate and our choices
are the name of the game.

Cloudy Days

Mornings sunshine
comes so bright
then some white clouds
come in sight.
Scenes created
in the blue
cloudy days are
greater view.
Pictures painted
in the sky
cloudy days will
give reply.
Answers to our
thoughts in time
found within
a clouds design
Words as wisdom
white and grays
are within the
cloudy days.

Lost In A Room

Now is a fraction
counted and seen
seconds and minutes
nightmare or dream.
Lost in a room,
words are not heard
some making sense
and some just absurd.
A remembered thought
might seem as a place
lost in a room
an aroma or taste.
My heart beats faster
as each time displays
echoes of the past
in all my dismays.
Yet all the minutes
and moments now gone
are lost in a room
for I must move on.
Leaving the shadows
of my own despair
and seeking the better
that’s found within prayer.
Now is a fraction
I must now attune
releasing the sadness,
lost in a room.

That Snowy Day

Summertime’s memoirs
so many will view
sunning and swimming
in water so blue.
Yet I find the days
of a summertime’s while
the doorway to winter
with a Christmastime smile.
Those scenes come to life
in my mind as I gaze
as I remember
those snowy white days.
Christmas music playing
so joyful to hear
that snowy day
of my yesteryear.
I remember blessings
that season brings forth
the white snow falling
on us way up north.
The memories now alive
are seeking that day
Christmastime’s venture
on that snowy day.

Within A Glance

Free falling through life
as each stage is set
a glance might not see
what you wish to get.
Timetables turning
bringing us chance
is often misconceived
within a glance.
Acting too rashly
and not thinking through
the things that you’ll say
or things that you’ll do.
Within a glance
right now might seem
a blessing so wondrous
found as a dream,
but with inaccuracy
comes such a price
within a glance
of a hurried device.
Look for the truthful
found beyond fiction
within a glance
of ones contradiction.
Truth is a pathway
with much better chance,
lessens remembered
within a glance.

New Limerick Train Tracks

Train tracks in snowfall
as stories foretold
become as the pathways
to the young and the old.
New Limerick train tracks
show journeys upon
those time frames as echoes
as minutes tick on.
Lifetimes of travels
those tracks have been through
found in New Limerick
from then thereunto.
Train tracks through winter
bring snowfall alive
as the engineers life
will continue to drive.
New Limerick train tracks
all covered with snow
in the wintertime’s journeys
where all that they go.

Haiku
for Aug 5,  2016

A peaceful evening
exposes many blessings
found deep in the mind.

Doorways to hopeful
are often clouded with time
as God’s time is true.

Misty mornings come
bringing essence for flowers
to help them to bloom.

Chance is a time
that implicates itself as
what that must happen.

Daisies will blossom
bringing beauty all around
in many colors.

The sky’s formations
are many different views
often with some clouds.

Shadows of a tree
might expose fear within you
as the limbs will sway.

Hateful is a thought
that comes to life through actions
and words that are said.

Leftover moments
can fall into today’s life
and become baggage.

Shouting every word
only puts fuel on the fire
to increase the flame.

A dreamers snowflake
falls to Earth as a blessing
to land as pure love.

Various actions
show us what that is the truth
and what is a lie.

Repetitive moments
bring forth the fact of lifestyles
that many will live.

Beyond what we see
is a spirit world of life
that continues on.

Fragrance of summer
finds aromas of mown lawns
that cause ones to sneeze.

Cherishing minutes
can become a mere burden
preventing right now.

Loosely fitting thoughts
will fall pray to discussion
as ones see the truth.

The passing of time
shows our yesterdays ventures
and all we went through.

In the break of dawn
comes a chance for a new day
with new beginnings.

Uncontrolled anger
will explode as dynamite
with a real short fuse.

Being too nosy
can acquire lesser of friends,
for we all need space.

A steep hill of life
can often cause us to fall
if we’re not careful.
