Said And Done

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

I hope you are doing well.  Judy and I are
hanging in there.  Judy is here today,  Her
brother is still in the hospital in the cardiac
ward.  Judy’s heading back sometime this
week.  In the mean time,  we’re trying to
get our driver side car door fixed.  If we
have to pay for it again,  it will cost $500
and we cannot afford that.  Hopefully I’ll
get them to pay for it as they should, being
they didn’t do it right the first time.  Keep
us in your prayers.  OK,  new topic.  The
weather is still bouncing around back and
forth.  We’ve still got tons of snow hehehe.
I’ve taken the boys out numerous times
this passed week and sat and played in the
snow with them.  I did a number of videos
for Judy that I shared on Facebook and
they came out pretty good.  My butt got
a bit cold as I sat in the snow to play with
the boys.  Benny and Rocky seemed to
love it.  Benny spent a lot of time climbing
snow mounds to try and look over the top
of them LOL.  Rocky just bounces around
in the snow.  It’s great that he loves the
snow too.  He had never seen it until we
got him LOL.  He was a rescue dog from
Florida.  But the first sight of snow,  he
was like YIPPEE as him and Benny ran
out into the field of snow together side by
side.  Our old boy Milo could take it or
leave it.  There were days before he got
sick that he would play with Benny in
the cold white snow,  but not too often.
Most times he preferred to be indoors
no matter what the weather was like LOL.
Rocky is that way too.  He prefers to be
inside,  but if I come out with them,  he’s
twirling around in circles from excitement.
Judy is back to painting and I’ve done a
quite a few new picture poems.  It’s not
going to be long before I have enough to
start Pearce’s Poetry Pictures Volume 2.
We’ve sold a few,  but not enough to pay
any bills LOL.  Hopefully in time the sales
will pick up.  We’ve both put a lot of time
and effort into the book.  Not to mention
all of Judy’s other books.  Oh well,  time
will tell.  So,  what else is there to ramble
about?  Well,  Thursday I had Judy pull
in and stop the car so I could get out and
take pictures of the Houlton walking bridge.
It had tons of snow on it,  but fortunately it
was packed down from people walking on
it and so I walked atop of a foot or more
of snow to cross it and take pictures LOL.
Some of the pictures came out pretty good.
It was getting late in the day and the sun
was already setting,  so I had to hold my
camera completely still to get some good
pictures.  It meant for me to have to hold
my breath as I snapped pictures.  I might
use a few as picture poems 🙂  Right now
it’s 3 F degrees and supposed to be minus
11 degrees by Monday morning.  So yes
it is a tad cold up this way.  It’s still not as
cold as it’s gonna get I’m sure LOL.  Ye
ole winter has barely shown its teeth as
of yet.  I’m sure we’ll get a lot more snow
before it’s all said and done and me and
the boys have a lot more romp time yet
to be done in that cold white scenery 🙂
Yeppers,  I do love snow.  I hate it when
it turns to plain old ice though,  so I try to
enjoy it while I can.  Our landlord hired a
guy with a large front end loader to come
and move our snow pile back a little bit
to make room for more snow.  It was to
the point that I had to dig us a little path
through it so we could get in our house 🙂
Now we’re ready for the rest of what winter
has to through at us,  of course aside from
a drivers side door that will not open from
the outside LOL.  Hopefully though,  that
is resolved soon.  I’m sure God has not
forgotten us and we will make it through
the storms of troubles.  So,  now I guess
it’s time for me to be looking back on all
that I’ve written to see if I can find a word
or phrase that I can use for the title for
today’s brand new poem.  So it’s away I
go to that place of my recollection that
I always like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.
I think I found a decent title not too far
back in my rambling.  Now to see if I can
do anything with it.  Here goes.

Said And Done

Within a windows
setting sun
a time might be as
said and done.
Yet a portions
timeless scenes
are ones value
window screens.
Many never
look outside
to see what God
as multiplied.
Scenes of wonder
blessings true
are there each day
for us to view.
Uncountable times
that things begin
are found to be
when moments end.
Don’t be known as
said and done,
before you’ve sought
to know God’s Son.

There ya go.  I hope you understood the poem
and I hope also that my rambling didn’t bore
you too much LOL.  I can’t always write things
that everyone is interested in.  LOL I know I
do tend to get silly from time to time.  Hey it’s
silliness that helps the world go round hehehe.
Without a bit of laughter,  this world would be
but only a big blue ball of sadness.  Judy just
finished another painting.  It’s of Mt. Katahdin.
She did a pretty good job.  I’m going to use it
for a picture poem.  It looks like I have told
you all that there is to tell ya about our passed
week.  So now it’s time for me to tell you what
I tell you almost every week 🙂 and that is,  I
wrote some more poems and haiku.  Yeppers,
10 more poems and an extra 5 due to picture
poems,  so that ups the total to 15.  I also once
again wrote 22 more haiku for all of the haiku
lovers out there.  I hope you can find 1 or 2
of either or both that you like.  Now I believe
it’s time for me to begin my search for that
hardly elusive off switch,  but not before I
wish you a most joyous week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  OK,  hmm,
so where is that dadgum off switch hiding
this time?????  LOL,  I see ya hiding behind
my camera.  Trying to take a selfie are ya?
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S.  A link to our brand new book
Pearce’s Poetry Pictures
is at the end of the journal along
with all of the others.  Enjoy 🙂

P.S. again.  The first poem is one that
I wrote for Judy when she was gone to
stay with her brother in Bangor 🙂

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10+5 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Alone In Love

Minutes seem longer
as seconds tick on
waiting for my true love
from dusk unto dawn.
I’m alone in love
as the minutes all pass
watching the shadows
that yesterdays cast.
It seems my heartbeat
yearns with a need
to have my true love
with passion I bleed.
I’m alone in love
as the clock ticks along
waiting for my honey
where she does belong.
I listen for her voice
and search for her face
while alone in love
as my heart starts to race.
I miss you so much dear
this I cannot deny
that I’m alone in love
with a tear in my eye.
I love you so truly
my sweet love for life.
I’m alone in love
waiting for you my wife.

I Love You Judy <3

Wanted Phase

A time sublime
with scenic days
becomes a dream
a wanted phase.
A page a stage
that finds my eyes
a wanted phase
with true surprise.
Things that sing
without a sound
are times of beauty
all around.
A phase of ways
that come and go
become the times
that we want so.
Yet to forget
the now and then
a wanted phase
might become dim.
So book a look
of memories
a wanted phase
of autumns leaves.
Allow somehow
the wondrous ways
to be the greatest
wanted phase.

A Dreamer’s Eyes

As life moves forward
the past stands still
with just a glimmer
that dreams fulfill.
Left over moments
that fall in place
become as a dream
with times embrace.
A dreamer’s eyes
seek far and wide
a time remembered
again to ride.
A dream come true
that they had seen
a dreamer’s eyes
will seek a dream.
Without darkness,
without fear
a dreamer’s eyes
seek yesteryear.
While attempting
to draw a line
to now today
this point and time.
Yet the minutes
that are viewed
might be sort of
misconstrued.
For each moment
is surprise
to find a place
a dreamer’s eyes.

Sitting In Snow

With our two boys
and snow of white
I find a moment
such a sight.
Sitting in snow
as sunshine fades
me and our dogs
enjoy the days.
They’re our boys
with sweaters on
playing in snow
before it’s gone.
They love to play
as mounds will grow
while I’m sometimes
sitting in snow.
They’ll run around
bouncing with glee
while sometimes
we can barely see.
The scenic view
of to and fro
is often blinding
sitting in snow.

Two Boys Standing

Hearts beat minutes
seconds counted
winters blessings
time’s surmounted.
Two boys standing
watching waiting
for their daddy
anticipating.
While I’m walking
there and to
they are playing
peekaboo.
They can see me
walking there
these two boys
that stand and stare.
They’re our doggies
loved the same,
our two boys
of different frame.
Love is truly
how they flow
two boys standing
in the snow.

Winter’s Mail

With snow of white
amidst the day
the winter’s mail
is on its way.
Snowy backdrops
find a while
seasons settings
times compile.
As a story
scenes of time
winter’s mail
is hard to find.
Frozen mailbox
such a sight
photo’s taken
winter’s white.
Then as echoes
seasons shine
winter’s mail
a great design.
Snowflakes falling
seem to sail
with the doorway
winter’s mail.

With One Glance

A scene a dream
of times array
with one glance
turns night to day.
A stance romance
of times desire
with one glance
can turn to fire.
A stage and page
in many minds
with one glance
becomes designs.
A rose that grows
from watered scenes
with one glance
turns into dreams.
A choice a voice
of wanted ways
with one glance
is better days.
A place a face
in memories
with one glance
turns into seas.
A life a wife
for a lonely man
with one glance
becomes God’s plan.

Disremembered Thoughts

Those thoughts that evade
as old age accrues
become disremembered
as our faded news.
Lifetimes of pathways
with stories we tell
become disremembered
with loss of detail.
Disremembered thoughts
of a lifetimes array
are often as the moments
we wish to display.
Yet as the years will pass
we might not recall
the hardest of times
we tried and we’d fall.
Seasons of journeys
that time may of lost
might just be the moments
disremembered thoughts.

Life In The Fast Lane

With wheels rolling quickly
in a moment you see
you might end up crashing
into some debris.
Life is a time bomb
when moving too fast,
for speed bumps of lessons
are crashed not to pass.
Life in the fast lane
can wear on your mind
as a doorway through hurry
becomes a land mine.
Take time to enjoy life
and see the scenery,
because you may not have
another chance which to see.
Time is a proportionate
moment to gain
and you might miss it all
life in the fast lane.

Mere Confusion

Sometimes now
is hard to view
for it’s not what
we wish true.
Often a moment
will go sour
as a minute
becomes an hour.
Mere confusion
time records
is just sometimes
our rewards.
Doing wrongly
what we should
because we then
misunderstood.
Simple seconds
counted true
mere confusion
might be you.

Winter Paws

A winter sight
with scenes of snow
has winter paws
out in the cold.
Sweaters on
in snow of white
winter paws
is such a sight.
This day I see
with wondrous view
is found inlaid
with dogs of two.
Winter paws
of moments time
becomes the scene
that’s so divine.
A scenic stage
of oohs and aahs
is set to see these
winter paws.

Bluebird

A bird of blue
in pussy willows
flutters and sings,
a moment billows.
It’s painted in
with brownish chest
and blue colors
to its crest.
The scene is set
within this paint
timeless portions
not too faint.
A bluebird nestles
in the scene
pussy willows
so supreme.

Purple Winter

As painted dreams
a purple shade
a purple winter
has been made.
A painted scene
a purple road
a snowy winter
is bestowed.
Snowflakes falling
through the trees
a purple winter
painted seas.
A picture painting
thereunto
a purple winter
is in view.
Time’s envisioned
a purple day
a purple winter
a painted way.

Winter Beckons

In our driveway
road to town
snow is laden
on the ground.
Winter beckons
days and nights
turned into some
scenic sights.
Many footprints
there and to
add a texture
to the view.
Winter beckons
as a stage
many moments
age to age.
As a dancer
snowflakes fall
timeless scenes
to cover all.
Winter beckons
words of choice
with its seasons
winter voice.

Snoopy and Woodstock

On a starry starry night
two characters were seen
upon this old doghouse
somewhere in a dream.
Snoopy and Woodstock
laid dreaming to fly
while searching diligently
all through the sky.
Little Woodstock sat up
upon Snoopy’s belly
to look up at the sky
like it was scenic telly.
He watched and dreamed
of a fantastic place
where Snoopy and him
could fly off in space.
But this is just a painting
of somebody’s dream
Snoopy and Woodstock
found in the scene.
They lie on the doghouse
of fantasy red
to dream about a place
that now is their bed.

Haiku
for Jan 7,  2017

Now is a moment
that you might one day forget
to repeat later.

Within a heartbeat
holds the hope for the future
if love guides the way.

Yes might not mean yes
as ones answer might be seen
as but only no.

Life is a doorway
that opens up and closes
with choices through time.

Midmorning shadows
display their own emotions
as moments fly by.

The moon and the stars
create the stories in life
that become our dreams.

Love as a flower
becomes petals of beauty
if it is nourished.

Beyond horizons
are the surprises of life
that await our sight.

Within a snowflake
is a snowman yet to live
as others gather.

A breath yet to breathe
is a choice we’ve yet chosen
for our tomorrows.

The stars that twinkle
speak of stories of Heaven
with infinite skies.

Sunshine of winter
is a persons perception
of how they perceive.

Summertime’s grasses
go into hibernation
as winter arrives.

Wisdom of a bee
is but only its instincts
to do what it does.

Life as a window
is that of which ones look through,
but do not see you.

The storms of troubles
are often fueled by actions
of you and others.

A drummer that drums
can create his own rhythm
by looking inside.

Various people
are benefactors of hope
and others of greed.

All the sights and sounds
that we hear and see each day
are just part of life.

One that’s arrogant
thinks too highly of themselves
and friendship is none.

Hills that are too steep
will cause us to slide back down,
so take heed your climb.

Before and after
are the details of our lives
that ones remember.
