ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

The weather up this ways hasn’t been all
that bad.  Yes we still have snow and we’re
expecting more Tuesday and Wednesday.
We are staying warm.  Our landlord came
and bricked up the center of the porch so
hopefully it will hold until he is able to come
and jack it back up and level it.  Also he has
(hopefully) sealed up the roof on it so that it
does not leak anymore.  Judy and I hoping
to begin using it one day to store our snow
blower and weed eater along with hang a
few of her creations out there etcetera. But
not until it is all done with repairs.  Judy
has rearranged our living room.  She and
I (more like me) moved the futon from the
spare room,  into the living room so it can
be used.  Our grandson (Christian) came
over yesterday and spent the night with us.
He said the futon was rather comfortable.
It’s about time it’s being used.  It has been
stuck in the spare room with stuff piled on
it since we moved up here LOL.  Maybe
now,  we can get our treadmill located to
where we can use it again.  It has been
blocked by all that collected in our spare
room for a good while. Last Tuesday we
went and got the boys their new dog tags.
Thursday one of the empty rent houses
had a water  leak and I noticed it and gave
our landlord a call.  Calvin came and fixed
it and thanked me for letting him know.  It
would of burned up the well pump if had
kept leaking at that rate and we would of
been without water.  That would of been
a big problem for us.  Anyways,  the lake
that had procured from the leak is slowly
freezing.  We drove to town Saturday to
buy some extension cords and a few other
things before Christian came over.  We
knew he wasn’t going to be able to reach
the wall outlet with his tablet  so we got
him an extension cord and we needed one
also to plug in our table lamp.  Anyways,
I think our living room looks nice and cozy
now.  Judy did a pretty good job with her
rearranging.  Next task is we tackle the
spare room LOL.  But I believe that can
wait a while till my body heals from toting
that futon into the living room which was
no easy task, being it barely fit through
the door and it took both of us tugging
and pulling to get it through.  Even the
mattress gave us the dickens of a time.
Yes we took it off and hauled it into the
living room first.  There is no way that
we would of been able to get the futon
in the living room with it all intact LOL.
So,  OK,  next topic.  Judy has done a
lot more paintings and a few drawings
using her art pencils.  I asked her last
night if she would paint a picture about
pollution to go with a poem that I wrote.
She painted 2.  One of them will work
well for the picture poem I have planned.
We seem to work well together 🙂  God
knew what He was doing when He put
her and I together.  Judy and I are best
friends along with husband and wife 🙂
Yes we have our share of quarrels,  but
that’s normal.  Nobody goes through life
without a few disagreements.  LOL and
being that Judy and I are BOTH retired,
we spend a lot of time together which can
at times be fuel for a quarrel.  That’s one
of the reasons that I don’t mind her going
places without me time to time such as craft
night with her sisters and daughters LOL.
Remember that saying,  “Absence makes
the heart grow fonder”.  It is so very true.
Yep,  it gives us space to breathe.  Too
often relationships are ended because
of no time to themselves.  I’ve had a life
like that.  One passed relationship was
ended due to me not being able to even
look at a female cashier without being
accused of something.  I was suffocating
from the lack of space.  Plus I had found
out later that the reason for her actions
was that she was messing around on me
and wanted to right her wrong by trying
to make me as the bad man.  That’s a very
unhealthy relationship to be in.  I thank
God for bringing Judy into my life.  We
make mistakes,  but we know forgiveness.
When we make a mistake we apologies and
forgive one another and don’t let it grow.
Don’t take anger to bed with you.  Diffuse
the bomb before.  Admit your flaws or your
bad choices and forgive one another,  for
if you do not,  the morning of the next day
will only be found with much added  turmoil.
We can find forgiveness through God’s
Son Jesus Christ,  but we earnestly need
to ask for that forgiveness.  Don’t allow
your ego to hinder your better choices.
An overly sized ego can become a bomb
that explodes with troubles one day when
you least expect it.  Don’t let pride to be
your nemesis that drags you down to the
depths of Hell.  If you are having problems,
ask someone for help.  We all need help
from time to time.  Yes even the strongest
among us can become weakened by life.
So,  I guess I have rambled enough LOL
and I believe it’s time for me to be taking
my little trip back through all that I have
written here to see if I can find me a good
word or phrase that I can use for the title
for today’s brand new poem. I think I may
have found a decent title that I haven’t
already used,  but now to see if I can write
a decent poem using it LOL.  Here goes.

Space To Breathe

A moments window
of life and peace
can give ones air
that they release.
Space to breathe
in many views
can take a bomb
and then diffuse.
Too much closeness
can confound
heartbeats rhythm
sight and sound.
Let a window
bring in air
space to breathe
with love and care.
To hold too tightly
will surely see
ones then needing
space to breathe.

I hope you enjoyed the poem and maybe
even understood it LOL.  Also I hope and
pray that you enjoyed my rambling.  Yes
I know I tended to drift from topic to topic,
but that’s me hehehe 🙂  Now,  what have
I forgotten to tell you?  Oh yea,  it seems
that Judy’s brother is doing fairly well or
at least that was what we last heard.  Judy
is going down to Bangor tomorrow to see
him.  She’s riding down with her sister
Barbara.  From what we know this far is
Ricky will be going into a nursing home
when he leaves the hospital.  I’m sure
that Judy will find out more about that
tomorrow (Monday).  So I reckon that’s
about all I’ve got for you and now it’s
time for me to tell you what I tell you
almost every week and that is I wrote
some more poems and haiku.  Yeppers,
10 more poems with an added 5 due to
picture poems LOL.  Also I wrote once
again 22 more haiku for all of the haiku
lovers out there.  I hope you can find
at least 1 or 2 of either or both that you
like.  Now I believe it’s time for me to
begin my search for that hardly elusive
off switch,  but not before I wish you a
most wonderful blessings filled week.
Remember,  Jesus loves you and we do
too.  Ok so where is that confounded
off switch trying to hide this week???
Hmmmm is that movement that I see
from behind my Ibuprofen bottle?  Yep,
and there ya are,  doing as you have
been doing,  playing peekaboo thinking
I can’t see you LOL.  Please try harder.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S  A link to our brand new book

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10+5and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Deciphered Thoughts

With ongoing thinking
our thoughts might evade
the meaning ones truly
see actions displayed.
Within our own mindset
our thoughts might not be
what that a moment
is clearly to see.
Deciphered thoughts
that many discover
are often so wrong
when the meaning is other.
The time and the place
that the moment is seen
might display portions
of a nightmare or dream.
Deciphered thoughts
of a timely display
might be uncovered
in an unthinking way.

Aurora Borealis

A picture that’s painted
displays such a sight
the aurora borealis
better seen in the night.
Painted as a portal
to another dimension
spanning in a painting
that takes our attention.
The aurora borealis
has a greenish detail
with other colors
in the sky then set sail.
Painted as a magical
place which to see
the aurora borealis
is a sight given free.
Yet some don’t see it,
for their latitude is wrong
so the aurora borealis
is there and it’s gone.
But for a moment
ones see it displayed
the aurora borealis
so Heavenly made.

Asian Golden Weaver

An oriental bird
of purple and gold
Asian Golden Weaver
a story that’s told.
Often as a painting
and sometimes alive,
it’s found within Asia
with a colorful stride.
The female is yellow,
but lesser in colors
a weaver of golden
it seeks for another.
The males are of purple
and golden to shine
as they will flutter
for true love so divine.
Yet now as a painting
it seeks to see her
the female companion
Asian Golden Weaver.

A Summer Scene

Along the shore
of deja vu
a summer scene
comes into view.
This time repeats
on summer’s days
while two horses
walk in waves.
Horseback riders
seek the path
a summer scene
to surely last.
Crashing waves
upon the shore,
a summer scene
to then explore.
Horses hooves
imprint the sand
with memories
across the land.
A summer scene,
a timeless view
that recreates
a deja vu.

Wineglasses In Moonlight

In a moonlight night
with a glimmer of stars
some wineglasses sit
with reflections of Mars.
The scene is a painting
found in a dream,
wineglasses in moonlight
with aqua marine.
The deep sea of minutes
display as a sight
with wineglasses found
amidst the moonlight.
Wineglasses in moonlight
become such a tale,
a story that’s written,
a moment set sail.

Reflections Of Passion

Glancing at a memory
remembering its place
becomes as a reflection
to somewhere or a face.
Passion builds a doorway
to the seasons so divine
as time unleashes moments
that live within our mind.
A time that is remembered
reflects the seasons sights
while passion is enlightened
within a dreamers nights.
Amidst a morning sunrise
is times reflected views
sometimes filled with passion
for what ones want to choose.
The doorways to tomorrow
are often seen to be
but only mere reflections
of our own history.
Seasons displayed truly
seeming timely old fashion
are often as our wantings
reflections of passion.

Keys To Imagination

Looking passed emotion
a sight can become real
maybe an imagination
that truth tries to conceal.
The keys to imagination
are a pathway we can choose
a subsequent reality
to win or then to lose.
The scenes within our sight
are changed how we believe
as keys to imagination
to choose what to perceive.
As an imaginary friend
of a lonesome child of time
the key is to believing
what eyes can never find.
The truth in ones perception
is found within their sight
the keys to imagination
what’s wrong or maybe right.

Whispers In The Dark

Sometimes in the darkness
a whisper might be heard
a seasons on perception
found within each word.
Blessings maybe hidden
inside the dark of night
whispers of an angel
of Lord God’s Holy Light.
Minutes might be gathered
as seasons disappear
while time paints a picture
of your yesteryear.
Whispers of an angel
might be all that you need
to become better standing
and help you to succeed.
Yet within a window
the view might disembark
leaving only shadows
whispers in the dark.

Standing In Motion

Not moving from your place
and standing thinking true
the motion is your mind
as time is in your view.
Ones might be depicted
as thinking you are still
while the motion is within you
what all that you conceal.
Standing in motion
as a statue of a mime
could become misconceived
of your thinking design.
Many are the thinkers
that we find only seen
as a time within waters
of a non moving stream.
Yet even on a still set
that seems without emotion
there might be a person
standing in motion.

Painted Angel

The times we find
our dimmer lights
an angel comes
and changes sights.
A morning woken
brought to see
might display
what’s meant to be.
A painted angel
of ones design
displays the heart
within the mind.
Wings so white
that fly away
and then return
another day.
This painted angel
is a thought,
that unleashes
love that’s sought.
An abstract angel
without face
yet with love
you can embrace.
Painted thusly
in detail
this fine angel
guards us well.
It is displayed
to truly be
a painted angel
you can see.

Life’s Reflections

Sunny days
with frozen sights

is bright lights.
Passing minutes
counted true
life’s reflections
come in view.
Scenes of winter
snow’s displayed
life’s reflections
moments made.
Scenic mountains
found to show
life’s reflection
in the snow.
Times a portion
poured to be
life’s reflections
we can see.
Tis a moment
timeless true
life’s reflections
found to view.

Mountain High

Beyond a painting
lies a thought
a mountain scene
a painter sought.
Clouds seen floating
in the sky
with a story
mountain high.
Beyond the moment
water’s seen
a lake of time
and in between.
Tall trees standing
in the clearing
mountain high
is so endearing.
A painter’s thoughts
are found to be
a mere image
you can see.
Imagination
cut and dry
as a painting
mountain high.

Wineglass Images

Simple art
a scenic style
might be painted
with a smile.
A wine bottle
and glasses too
are some images
in the view.
A scenic sight
a simple time
found to be
within the mind.
Wineglass images
abstract art
recreated
from the heart.
Thoughts procured
from broken pieces
wineglass images
paint releases.
Scented with
a timeless place
simple images
for a taste.
Displayed as
a painted while
seen to be
a certain style.

Bigrock Mountain

A ski resort
with snow of white
a winters scene
of day and night
becomes alive
with scenic hills
skiers skiing
for the thrills.
Bigrock Mountain
ski resort
times sublime
a winter sport.
Wind turbines
displaying well
twirling whirling
winds exhale.
Paths are clear
to ski around
people skiing
quickly down.
Bigroack Mountain
shows a sign
that for sure
it’s wintertime.

A Lost Perception

With voices yelling
tossing words
a lost perception’s
killing birds.
The air is clouding
filled with pain
times deceptions
torrent rain.
Our own choices
create styles
a lost perception
without smiles.
A page is turned
to dismal scenes
while creating
polluted streams.
A lost perception
detours growth,
leaving us with
sinking boats.
A lost perception
needs to find
a clear connection
day and time.
A time with peace
and love to share
to fill the Earth
with cleaner air.
Look inside you
find correction
change the path
a lost perception.

Haiku
for Jan 20,  2017

Scenes within sunlight
become shadows of our lives
as each day moves on.

Beyond emotions
are the intents of ones thoughts
that often explode.

Near to a mountain
is a chance for a meadow
that’s filled with flowers.

An oceans seashore
becomes footprints of lifestyles
that will wash away.

Within a white cloud
holds a chance for some raindrops
as the cloud turns dark.

Flowers of romance
can enhance a moments life
with hearts beating true.

Countless perceptions
imprinted upon our lives
can be misconceived.

Midmorning hopeful
can become late evenings sight
filled with illusions.

Life of a flower
becomes glimmers of springtime
in summertime’s trails.

Too much neediness
shows an addictive lifestyle
that’s always wanting.

Various people
become helper of others
while others need help.

The life of a star
is many light years of time
that goes beyond sight.

Disdained assumptions
might be just your own viewpoint
as truth is revealed.

Some trails through the snow
become pathways for dreamers
to find mysteries.

Memories of life
are often discolored thoughts
that time has tinted.

Without memories
our lives might be just repeated
and without lessons.

Chance is a second
that can become a minute
grown into a day.

The leaves of a tree
for a while are its beauty
and then they release.

Choice is a moment
that can become good or bad
depending on us.

A bird of winter
becomes a mere photograph
as wintertime fades.

Life’s varieties
are as seasons setting suns
with not one the same.

When facing troubles
seek for answers through a prayer
and then do your best.
