ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s another week gone by and we’ve
gotten a bit more snow.  The snow is
as white as can be.  On a sunny day
if you look outside without sunglasses
you’ll go snow blind LOL.  On a clear
night it is still a little bright outside 🙂
The moonlight and stars reflect off of
the snow making it seem almost like
daytime on a cloudy day hehehehehe.
So,  what’s been happening around
the Pearce’s Place?  Well,  the other
day I had to do some snow blowing
with our snow blower and when I was
done I needed to go inside being that
my hands were cold and hurting,  but
Judy had accidentally locked the door
after she went back inside from taking
pictures of me and I had to ring the
doorbell.  She came and unlocked the
door,  but as I hurried in the house
without kicking the snow and ice off
of my shoes,  my feet slipped out from
under me and I landed on my back.
So right now I am aching quite a bit.
I’ll survive.  I told her to put the lil
carpet down in front of the door
that we had moved because it kept
sliding around and I nailed it to the
floor with a couple of roofing nails.
It won’t slide now and neither will
I LOL.  I’ve now got my cleats out
and ready to deal with the season 🙂
My back is still aching quite a bit,
but hopefully it subsides a little bit
more before Thanksgiving.  So,  next
topic.  The weather has been fairly
nice.  Today was bright and sunny
and no I didn’t look outside and go
snow blind LOL.  I looked through
our computer room window at the
sky and yes it was clear hehehehe.
I did walk out the front door and
take a few pictures of the icicles
that are hanging from our porch 🙂
They are long.  About 3 foot icicles.
I guess they’ll keep getting longer
until a vibration or one of us goes
and knocks them down LOL.  It’s
18 F degrees right now at 5 PM 🙂
but it’s not as cold as it’s gonna get.
It’s supposed to be 9 F degrees by
morning.  Next topic.  Our mailbox
got knocked down again,  but our
landlord put it back up.  Now it
seems that we have a mail thief, as
the packages that I was supposed to
have gotten Saturday got removed
from my mailbox and on the internet
they were said to have been delivered
that morning in the mailbox.  Plus
the mailbox door was opened and
not a flake of snow was in it,  which
tells me that someone was in it being
if it had been opened before,  there
would of been snow in it.  I have no
clue what anyone is going to do with
my business cards or the treats that
I ordered for our boys LOL.  This
means I’ll have to start checking
our mail earlier to give no time for
that thieving piece of garbage to
get it.  I don’t understand people
like that.  On top of stealing stuff
that has no material worth to them.
Heck,  I would of given them a treat
and a couple of business cards if they
would of asked LOL.  Unfortunately
the nearer it gets to Christmastime,
the more problems with mail theft
we will have.  I cannot see how ones
can live with themselves stealing
from others.  I have faith that God
will take care of it as karma bites
them in the butt.  Through it all
though,  we’ve survived thanks to
God and His many angels that are
watching over us.  I’m sure that we
will have many struggles,  but we
will not go through them alone,  for
God is always watching out for us.
Thank You God for all that You’ve
done and all that You’ll do.  Now,
I believe it’s time for me to read
back through all of my rambling
and find me a good word or phrase
that I can use for the title for today’s
brand new poem.  So it’s away I go
to that place of my recollection that
I like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.
I think I may have found a fairly
decent title just a few lines from the
beginning and now after checking
I see that it has not been used yet,
so used it shall be.  Here goes…

Moonlight and Stars

Some of our friends
are the same as the sky
moonlight and stars
in a nighttime reply.
Yet many others are
seen all the time
daylight through dark
their hearts intertwine.
Time is a counter
that displays the views
the ones that we see
that our lives interfuse.
Some though are artwork
as a painted up lie
just acting as friends
to soon say goodbye.
Yet there are many
as true friends of ours
more than a moment of
moonlight and stars.

There ya go.  I know the poem might
not be one of my best,  but it’s what
I wrote LOL.  I hope you liked it a lil
and maybe even understood it.  I also
hope you enjoyed my rambling.  Yes
I do ramble,  don’t I!  Now to think
and see if I have forgotten to tell you
anything.  Nope it don’t look like it.
So I guess it’s time for me to tell you
what I tell you every week and that is,
I wrote some more poems and haiku.
Yeppers,  10 more poems and there
are 5 Christmas poems in the mix 🙂
I also wrote 22 more haiku for all of
the haiku lovers out there.  I hope you
can find 1 or 2 of either or both that
you like.  Now I believe it’s time for
me to begin my search for that hardly
elusive off switch,  but not before I
wish you a peaceful weekend or what
that is left of it and a blessings filled
week and also a Happy Thanksgiving.
Ok, so where is that ornery off switch
hiding this time?  Hmm,  that’s funny
I don’t remember my camera having
an extra on & off switch LOL.  You are
silly ya know.  What made you think
I wouldn’t see ya?  Try harder next
week.  Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky

Evening’s Arrival

Searching for tomorrow
as the minutes fade away
the evening is a window
to yet another day.
The evening’s arrival
displays texture and style
scented as a doorway
that minds of time compile.
Blissful may be scenery
as it blossoms from above
a sky filled with stories
and clouds full of love.
Many streaks of sunlight
in a timeless fashion
are the evening’s arrival
as it displays its passion.
Seeming as a painting
that a camera perceived
brought to life surely
as time frames conceived.
Listed as a turnstile
that’s written in the wind
another time of day
for then to transcend.
Seconds are as gestures
that the minutes coincide
counted as the evening
displays with certain pride.
Each day meets a moment
that displays its survival
found as just a flavor
of the evening’s arrival.

A Snowy Morn

One winter’s day
a time was seen
a snowy morn
became a dream.
It brought alive
a moment’s glance
that seemed to say
come and dance.
Trees glistened
snow of white
a snowy morn
within my sight.
It seemed to say
the season’s near
Christmas bells
I soon will hear.
Echoing softly
as times awaken
a snowy morn
my eyes partaken.
A blissful scene
within my view
displays snow
with life anew.
Sunshine seemed
to be a haze
through the clouds
on snowy days.
It’s so beautiful
this moment born
a Christmas theme
a snowy morn.

Time At A Glance

Wheels of perception
down a wintery road
display many scenes
that moments unload.
Bringing forth life
as a gestured sight
a time that’s moving
daylight to night.
Scenes become travels
of a wintertime hue
as ones drive along
in mind thereunto.
Time is a snowflake
that drifts in the air
found on a journey
with blessings to share.
Glancing at a photo
you might see yourself
as a time and a place
now dust on the shelf.
Yet as years travel
the minutes procure
a Christmas memory
with heartbeats allure.
Bringing about memoirs
journeys through time
textured with blessings
that time left behind.
This is a but a moment
of a seasonal dance
as memories come alive
in time at a glance.

Lost In Christmas

Winter white scenes
engulf my eyes
while I am looking
at Christmas skies.
Time is awakened
with my every view
lost in a turnstile
of a magical hue.
Snow is so fluffy
and so winter white
as Christmas gathers
what I so delight.
Season of splendor
season of bliss
Christmas is a time
that I cannot resist.
I’m always lost
in the scenic details
found on journeys
that a story entails.
A Christmas sight
of a home on the way
sitting on a hill
one wintertime day.
It seems to enlighten
my childhood thoughts
seasons of grandeur
that I thought I lost.
I found my mindset
that faded from view
when lost in Christmas
shows life brand new.

Just A Reflection

Seen as a heartbeat
times may just be
sights that reflect
what we wish to see.
Maybe as a gateway
to our own desires
a sky of reflections
a moment acquires.
Just a reflection
of a lake of times
creating perceptions
inside of our minds.
We might not see
what is really there
as we look onwards
and try to compare.
Reflections of life
in a mindful array
can become scenes
that we see in a way.
Glistening sequences
reflections of styles
embark on journeys
a reflection compiles.
We often remember
a time of a day
that’s now reflected
in a magical way.
So often we only
recall such a time
just a reflection
inside of our mind.

Counting Leaves

Numbers united
lifetimes conceal
are us as the leaves
of fiction or real.
Counted desires
of wanted arrays
often bring in view
some regretful days.
Leaves all mixed up
in a certain style
found as a matrix
of time to beguile.
Time comes alive
as the leaves so true
are soon to display
what is really you.
When counting leaves
of a personal life
it brings perspective
of happy and strife.
Truth is a venture
a second will find
within the leaves
of time after time.
An emerging life
that is really true
ones will try to hide
from me and you,
but one cannot hide
what the future sees
for it’s the same as
counting leaves.

Within Evening

As life is exposed
in a winter scene
white snow covers
what once was green.
The sun dips down
in the western sky
as a dimming light
to say goodbye.
Its only words
are that of time
a Christmas eve
that’s so divine.
Within a style
it displays views
a time of life
a choice to choose.
It is a moment
a time of day
within evening
that fades away.
It gives its last
of a time to see
a portion of love
for you and me.
The evening shows
a Christmas phase
a season’s glimmer
of magical ways.
So as the sunlight’s
slowing leaving
find the blessings
within evening.

Traveled Rails

Thoughts so timeless
as traveled rails
join us on journeys
of scenic details.
Found as a roadway
a train track of time
life is but a pathway
we should seek to find.
Such as a lifetime
that is now a memory
as the traveled rails
of our own history.
We leave impressions
as we journey through
maybe even lessons
for others to view.
The times we think
that no one’s watching
someone might hear
you randomly talking.
Remember the times
you heard so clear
ones speaking words
that weren’t so sincere.
For you might then be
the same as you heard
if you’re not careful
with your every word.
Listen to yourself
in your daily details
and let good be found
in your traveled rails.

Misled Emotions

Stirring as stories
words continue on
scenes we remember
of right and of wrong.
Scenes within a mirror
as we look deep inside
seeing all we’ve done
a roller coaster ride.
Fragments of time
are jumbled all about
our misled emotions
in ways and out.
Then as the windows
of time show a view
life can become the
things we wished to do.
Within our minutes
we may see ourselves
pictured as turnstiles
dust on the shelves.
The future holds life
of a different array
that you might see
as the same as today.
Our misled emotions
may become a scene
as the fabric of time
and hearts on a string.
Dreams we encounter
as we drive thereunto
bring misled emotions
often clearly in view.

Winter’s Beauty

Among the snowflakes
life is displayed
as a wintertime feel
a moment has made.
With winter’s beauty
in wondrous design
becomes such a scene
that minutes define.
Seeming like cotton,
yet cold as can be
winter comes alive
as a frigid pageantry.
It displays emotions
of a Christmas appeal
within winter’s beauty
as a seasonal feel.
Homes on our journeys
become such a sight
as the winter’s beauty
displays that of white.
Snow on the roadways
as passages to time
becomes as a memoir
of a fabulous find.
A Christmas scene
as a magical place
when snowflakes fall
and land on your face.
It is winter’s beauty
as it puts on a show
a Christmassy gleam
in wintertime’s snow.

Haiku
for Nov 17,  2018

Flakes of a snowstorm
can become that of beauty
as time interweaves.

Reality thrives
even when you are dreaming,
so wake up and learn.

Too many mistakes
without finding out what’s wrong
might be ignorance.

The light of today
might shine brighter tomorrow
after trials are paved.

Looking to the sky
you might see cloudy patterns
that form in your mind.

Thoughts of evolving
are questionable of some
being they never learn.

Various turnstiles
have a few hidden meanings
that might not be good.

When heading one way
you might often have regret
of yet another.

In search of true love
ones often do not see it
right in front of them.

The passing of time
might leave seconds uncounted
that are important.

Thriving on others
makes many as leaches
that soon find demise.

Friends of the past
may never be seen today
unless they are true.

The links of a chain
determine how far you’ll go
until you’re yanked back.

Letting loose of ones
gives them a choice to move on
or to hang around.

The best of today
might be yesterday’s problems
that you found answers.

A lifeless body
can be resuscitated
if it is God’s will.

Amidst a rain cloud
a rainbow might show colors
of enlightened peace.

Daily challenges
show us our limitations,
but rest is needed.

Sentimental times
often bring many teardrops
as wishful thinking.

The hands of a clock
are often lost perspective
as couch potatoes.

A fast growing weed
can overtake a garden
as well as the mind.

God gives us choices
while life teaches us patience
when others are slow.
