ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been another wintery week as the
days of November said their goodbye.
Yeppers,  December is here and snow
is on the ground.  It’s snowing right at
this very moment.  Judy went with her
sisters yesterday to be with her brother
in ICU at the Bangor hospital.  They
were worried about him.  Ricky had
become unresponsive.  He soon came
out of it when the sisters arrived and
Judy said he even talked quite a bit 🙂
They stayed at the hospital last night
so they could talk to the doctor this
morning and hear what he had to say,
but they had to head back home after
that to try and beat the snow that was
coming and they almost did hehehe.
Yep,  She’s home now and we sat and
watched a video together for a little
while,  but soon Judy’s eyes were
closing.  She didn’t get any sleep at
the hospital and so she headed to bed.
I figured I’d get an early start on my
journal while she was sleeping.  Benny
and Rocky were very happy to see her.
LOL every time they heard a sound
they would go to front door thinking
it was Judy/mom 🙂  Yep,  they missed
their mom.  They were good boys and
didn’t give me too much trouble.  LOL,
it’s a good thing I remembered to put
our windshield wipers up so that they
don’t freeze to the windshield.  What
I mean by put them up is to raise them
up so they are not on the windshield.
Otherwise they tend to get frozen to
the windshield in this type of weather.
So what else is going on around this
place?  Hmm,  well,  our mailbox is
still standing.  I put some reflectors
on it so that the snowplows could see
it LOL.  I put the reflectors on both
sides of it.  Red and yellow reflectors.
Now hopefully it won’t get hit as often.
I just went out and took a picture of
our car with the windshield wipers
sticking up out of the snow and I’ll
put it in my stationery for all of you
that are getting the stationery version
of my journal LOL.  It’ll show ya what
I mean when I say putting them up 🙂
Anyways,  next topic.  I have been
enjoying the snow and taking loads of
pictures 🙂  I just now heard the snow
plow going down the road.  They are
good about keeping the roads cleared.
I guess I need to get on the ball and
start working on getting book number
9 published.  Maybe this week I’ll get
started working on a cover photo
and the inside front and back of the
book and then begin formatting it.
I’ve already written 40 poetry pictures
for book 10 hehehe.  I have started
handing out my business cards in hopes
of them helping me to sell my books 🙂
If they don’t then at least I tried.  You
never know unless you try.  Anyways,
life is still filled with blessings.  It’s
the Christmas season and we love it.
The snow makes it even more beautiful.
When I was a little boy I would always
wish for snow for Christmas,  but it
never happened.  Now we have it every
year 🙂  It might not snow Christmas
Eve or Day,  but there is always snow
on the ground 🙂  Yep,  I love it,  but
I wish I had some friends to share it
with.  I know my mom and sister would
never want to be here with all of this
snow LOL.  We are much different in
that manner.  I have always preferred
cold weather over hot weather being
I’m hot natured in the weirdest way 🙂
I went through the bedroom to get
me some more orange juice and Judy
is still sleeping.  She woke up for a
moment and asked me if the boys
were still outside.  LOL I said nope
Rocky started barking saying he was
ready to come back in a while ago and
Benny came in with him.  Benny loves
the snow and only wants come in when
he can’t handle the cold anymore or
he’s hungry hehehe,  but he will come
in if we holler for him.  Well,  there’s
not much else to tell ya.  Our lives up
here are quite simple.  We have been
enjoying our new 55 inch TV hehehe.
It’s a smart TV and has a lot great
things on it.  It’s a Christmas gift to
us from us 🙂  God has blessed us with
each other and these boys of ours as
well as our families and friends.  Yes
our home has been blessed.  Thank
You Lord for all that You have done
for us and all that You will do.  We
love You.  Now I reckon it’s time for
me to start my search back through
all that I’ve written here to see if I can
find a good word or phrase that I
can use for the title for today’s brand
new poem.  So,  it’s away I go,  to
that place of my recollections that I
like to call RECOLLECT VILLE 🙂
I believe I found a halfway decent
title just a few lines back.  Now to
see if I can do anything with it LOL.
Here goes…

For All

With the life we live
comes a time to see
what that’s blossomed
from you and me.
For all have sinned
and left a trail
that may lead to Heaven
or may lead to Hell.
We’ve each had flaws
to come in place,
but for all have chance
to be saved by grace.
Allowing our errors
to become well learned
lessons of a lifetime
that we have earned.
For all there is hopeful
and chance to change
making a doorway
to then rearrange.
Finding the answers
in yesterdays fall
God gives the chances
for one and for all.

So,   there ya go.  I hope you liked the
poem and maybe it even spoke to you.
Also I hope that you enjoyed all of my
rambling hehehe.  Judy’s still asleep.
I might fix us something to eat in a bit
and then wake her unless she wakes up
before I get it done or even begin LOL.
It looks as though I have told you all
that there is to tell this week.  So now
it’s time for me to tell you what I tell
you every week and that is,  I wrote
some more poems and haiku.  Yep 10
more poems with 4 Christmas poems
in the mix.  I also wrote 22 more haiku
for all of the haiku lovers out there.
I hope you can find 1 or 2 of either or
both that you like.  Now to begin my
search for that hardly elusive off switch,
but not before I wish you a blessings
filled weekend or whatever’s left of it
and also wish you blessings filled week.
Remember,  Jesus loves you and we
do too.  Now,  where can that silly off
switch be hiding this time hehehehe?
Oh for Heaven’s sake,  couldn’t you
find a better hiding spot.  My nose
spray bottle is hardly the size for you
to hide behind.  I could see ya sticking
out on either side of the darn thing.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

Winter’s Sea

Waves of snow
displayed in time
became a view
for me to find.
It seemed a sea
of whitish phase
a time divine
for me to gaze.
This winter’s sea
a Christmas sight
had come alive
in morning’s light.
It brought scenes
alive and well
of winter’s sea
as a story to tell.
A home drifted
above its waves
this winter scene
of Christmas days
It was a time
that came in view
of winter’s sea
from old to new.
The snow of white
was drifting on
creating sights
to look upon.
A magical time
so Christmassy
was found one day
as winter’s sea.

Abstract Scenes

Flowers of life
of a colorful view
might be envisioned
as a magical hue.
Maybe as dandelions
with purplish tint
painted on paper
of a certain extent.
Abstract scenes
of a delicate time
as ones imagined
inside of their mind.
A painter displays
what surely breathes
purple dandelions
with greenish leaves.
Maybe yet another
is hidden inside
as abstract scenes
a painter applied.

Thinking Of A Time

Moments remembered
as passed days dreams
bring to mind echoes
of wonderful scenes.
Thinking of a time
I remember so well
that rings in my mind
as a story to tell.
For when I was younger
I envisioned life
filled full of blessings
and lesser of strife.
Thinking of a time
that my life tore apart
leaving me with only
a life’s broken heart.
Times I was stubborn
with a wanting way
and not hearing all that
my daddy had to say.
He warned me of life
and what I didn’t know,
but I continued on
with my own way to go.
I can now remember
how we each found peace
as God brought us closer
for a moments release.
Thinking of a time
that a moment bestowed
comes to me often when
riding down the road.

Winter’s Crisp

Trees that glisten
snow of white
seasons threshold
times delight
bring the essence
into view
the signs of times
of winter’s brew.
Snowy shadows
times display
bring the likes of
Christmas day.
Holding measures
such a gleam
as winter’s crisp
a certain dream.
Cold air blowing
through the trees
enhancing scenes
as snowy seas.
Life’s portrayal
is in detail
the times we see
the snow set sail.
The sky displays
the snow to fall
flakes of life
to cover all.
Then the season
makes a list
Christmas scenes
as Winter’s crisp.

Life Within

Living souls
will still survive
as hearts cease
to do their drive.
Our life within
is found in place
gifts from God
His saving grace.
Some may doubt
the path to go
and be surprised
of Heaven’s flow.
A grave may seem
to be of death,
but holding true
ones earthly breath.
As our memories
surely thrive
the life within
will still survive.
God gives blessings
timeless true
for when we pass
we’ll start anew.
Leaving shadows
passed days gone
as our spirits
then live on.
Heaven’s doorway
we shall find
life within
unending time.

Tossing Your Line

Take a little time
to find you a view
found within time
that lives within you.
Look on beyond
a distant shore
and find that of life
to live evermore.
Allow for a breath
of life’s ocean waves
to become as a view
to better your days.
By tossing your line
in a dreamers style
you can find peace
inside of a smile.
Losing your frowns
in a dreamers sea
you can find smiles
that will set you free.
Take a little time
to breathe in anew
a time to remind
what can be with you.
Tossing your line
to an oceans depth
you can then breathe
of a magical breath.
Find all your passion
in a prayerful mind
by not giving up then,
but tossing your line.

Taste of Magenta

An evening sky
brings my life awake
a time that I find
my eyes partake.
A purplish hue
with a bit of red
a taste of magenta
up above my head.
It’s as a dreamland
and ocean of color
displayed in time
unlike no other.
It came to life
as a storybook
a taste so deserving
I took another look.
It was as flavors
a taste for my eyes
with different shades
in magical skies.
The taste consumed
my mind that day
with evenings glance
a purplish way.
A magenta skyline
as moments emotions
drifting up above
as heavenly oceans.
A taste of magenta
begins its view
high up above me
with hint of blue.

Santa’s Flight

A night to remember
brings into view
the sight of old Santa
with reindeer that flew.
Flying across the sky
in his Christmas sleigh
hidden from our eyes
in a magical way.
He’s in the moonlight
with jingling bells
that seems as music
our story foretells.
Children fast asleep
and dreaming so sweet
thoughts of old Santa
his HoHo to greet.
They dream of his flight
through wintery skies
and some stay up late
to try to surprise.
Attempting to capture
a glimpse of his suit
and all of his reindeer
their nighttime pursuit.
Yet Santa’s ready
to be gone with the wind
as he leaves all the gifts
too quick to apprehend.
Then, soon to the stars
and the bright moonlight
he continues onwards
it is Santa’s flight.

Following Trails

Footsteps walking
and headed through
might then one day
get the best of you.
Not asking questions
where we’re to go
we might encounter
what we don’t know.
Headed through time
as our journeys begin
life opens doorways
going out and back in.
Look for the signs
of the different arrays
to guide you truly
to much better days.
Don’t just hurry in
without any clue
of what there might be
just waiting for you.
When following trails
you might not perceive
the reasons ones left
no reason to leave.
So when the minutes
show times to embark
don’t let your hurry to
leave you in the dark.
Seek for guidance
that a moment entails
and then maybe go on
following trails.

The Christmas Place

With Christmas coming
the minutes will find
a place where Santa
finds peace of mind.
He searches high
and he searches low
the Christmas place
in winter’s snow.
A place he conceived
to help him along
with a jingling essence
as a Christmas song.
Old Santa survives
the cold winter’s wind
so to bring toys
that wishes did send.
The Christmas place
gives a glowing sign
a place that can help
with Christmastime.
It helps with deliveries
as Santa flies by
landing to gather gifts
and then again fly.
Santa continues on
his year round conquest
delivering the presents
before any rest.
He gives to the children
with good they embrace
as he continues on from
the Christmas place.

Haiku
for Dec 1,  2018

Without any breath
there can be no one breathing
so look for a sign.

Chance is a moment
that comes and goes throughout life
so make good of it.

Life is decisions
filled with directions to go
and lessons we learn.

Lost in a storm cloud
you might choose the wrong answers
and make things much worse.

The leaves of autumn
are as greeters for winter
to welcome the snow.

Seen through binoculars
things might seem to be closer
so look with your eyes.

Beyond what we see
there might be sights well hidden
that could surprise us.

Life is an echo
of the yesterdays of passed
reverberation.

Changes in our lives
begin with changes in our thoughts
becoming actions.

Ongoing turnstiles
become as many tempters
to attract our minds.

Heavy is water
that has depth of an ocean
and waves of lifetimes.

Behind a good man
there might be some illusions
that you’ll never know.

Our sought after dreams
can become many nightmares
if we’re not careful.

Throughout existence
life can become as echoes
that we need to hear.

Challenge can be bad
if you’re lacking in knowledge
of what you’re doing.

Seeking illusions
will guaranty emptiness
for it’s just a dream.

Paved are our feelings
that may have a few potholes
from our excursions.

Looking to the stars
you might discover yourself
as you reminisce.

Portions of a field
may hold many hidden weeds
they we cannot see.

Guessing ones lifestyles
using their clothes as a gauge
could give false answers.

Our recollections
might be clouded perception
that we remember.

With each passing day
leaves a portion of ourselves
founds within regrets.
