ANIMAL’S GREETINGS
Hello my friends
This passed week has been
fairly decent.
Judy and I have been enjoying watching
it rain LOL.
Yeppers, as soon as it quit
snowing it did as it always does,
began
raining. LOL there’s been a few intervals
of it raining and snowing
at the same time.
The weather’s confusion. So, we’ve just
been being
lazy, other than doing a bit
of touch ups on the boys haircuts and all.
I
got a hold of Rocky and got him trimmed
and shaved pretty good. He’s one
happy
camper now. I’m sure all of that hair on
him was itchy. Judy did
some trimming
on Benny, but we’ve still got a lot to do
on him. I’ve
just got a few touch ups to
do on Rocky, like on his face and paws,
but
other than that, he’s looking good 🙂
Judy’s in the kitchen right now
making
her and I some omelets for breakfast, yum.
We did do a little
driving the other day
and I took a few pictures. We had been
talking
about us stopping at the Rusty
Crab and getting us something to eat,
but
it always seemed to never happen :),
but last Thursday we made the
decision
to drive up to Presque Isle and stop at
the Rusty Crab to get us
something to eat.
I got the shrimp dinner and Judy got the
fried clam
dinner. The Rusty Crab is a
small building with a lady that cooks
the
food inside of it so the only seats to sit
at if you want to eat it
there are picnic
tables outside. Judy and I had already
planned on
bringing the food home to
eat while we watched the Black List on
TV 🙂
So, we enjoyed our dinner at
home on top of the fact it was raining
off
and on most of the day LOL and we
would of gotten wet if we had eaten
on
the outside picnic tables. So Friday as
I said before, we gave the
boys a good
whack (on their hair of course) and then
turned them loose to
play. They were
both ecstatic with their haircuts, but I
think Rocky was
the happiest hehehehe.
He was always itching due to all of that
hair that
had so many snarls in it that
it would of confused a house of
mirrors.
So, what else it happening here at the
Pearce’s Place? Well,
Judy and I are
sort of recouping from giving the boys
their haircuts,
being they are sort of
feisty and not always cooperative when
you want to
cut the hair on their bellies
and paws LOL. Also they tend to do
a lot
of squirming when trying to cut
their facial hair LOL. Oh yea, I did
a
little trimming on my facial hair as
well. Yep, I figured it was time for
me
to give my beard its summer trimming.
It’s still a little cool up this
way, but
for the most part, winter is gone and
spring and summer are
here. LOL the
reason I say spring and summer is due
to the fact that our
winters last a long
time and spring is always almost said
and done by the
time winter releases
its grip hehehe. The grass is turning
greener with
each passing day. Soon
the bugs will be buzzing and I am not
looking
forward to that, but it is what
it is. Soon winter will be knocking
on
our door once again and I’m sure I’ll
be happy to see it. Greeting it
with a
cold snowy handshake 🙂 But yet, it
is just May now and there is
but only
a couple of weeks left in it which means
summer is on its way.
Of course we
don’t have near the temperatures that
Texas has during the
heat of summer.
We might have a few days in the 90’s
but very few and
that’s too hot for me,
so I always have our portable A.C unit
ready to
bout the heat, plus this year
I bought Judy and I a couple of Arctic
Air
units to put on our night stands to
keep us cool. They are small, but
as
I found out when I tested one out, they
work. They’re water cooled.
Anyways
they should make sleeping a bit more
comfortable. We’ve got a
water cooled
fan in the living room for when we have
to leave the boys at
home in their crates.
So, bring it on summertime hehehehe.
Judy and I
have made plans on going to
the Rusty Crab again next month and
then going
on a picture taking drive 🙂
I always look forward doing things
like
that. LOL I need more pictures that
I can write about 🙂 I feel
blessed with
all that God has given me to take my
many pictures of. His
creations are the
very best artwork. They are on beyond
anything that we
can create. Plus I see
the beauty in the weathered things of
life such as
run down barns and houses
that time has enhanced into a living
scene.
Thank You God for the many
different views of life that You give to
me and
thank You for blessing us with
so much love and laughter. I know I
get
grumpy at times, but You understand
and I am grateful. Now I believe it’s
time
for me to begin my quest back through
all of my rambling to see if I
can find a
good word of phrase that I can use for
the title for today’s
brand new poem. So
it’s away I go, to that little place of
my
recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE. I believe I
may
of stumbled on a decent title midways
into my rambling and it looks as
though
it has not been used yet, so used it shall
be today. Here
goes…
Spring and Summer
Seconds ticking
times come
true
spring and summer
come in view.
Scenic notions
seasons
joy
spring and summer
then deploy.
Bringing artwork
lifetimes
found
spring and summer
as you look around.
Time’s a
trickster
creating things
spring and summer
as running
streams.
Rivers flowing
creating designs
spring and summer
a moment
defines.
Look for beauty
within the days
spring and summer
in so
many ways.
Don’t let sadness
to pour like rain
spring and
summer
gives much to gain.
Find the heartbeat
of seasons
drummer
often within the
spring and summer.

There ya go 🙂 I hope you liked the poem
a little bit and
maybe even found a little
joy in reading through my rambling LOL.
It looks
like this week is gonna be a rainy
one hehehe not unlike last week. Yep,
it
has been raining off and on today and it’s
supposed to rain on through
the night and
into tomorrow. Rain’s forecasted for the
next couple of
days and then we might
have a small break from it LOL, but that
could
change hehehe. Anyways, I guess
that’s about all I have for you this
week,
of course aside from what I tell you every
week and that is, I
wrote a few more poems
and haiku. Yeppers, 10 more poems with 1
extra
which is a poem I wrote about the
Rusty Crab and made into a poetry
picture
and shared on their Facebook page hehehe.
I also wrote 22 more
haiku for all of the
haiku lovers out there. I hope you can find
1 or 2
of either or both that you like. So,
now I believe it’s time for me to begin
my
search for that hardly elusive off switch,
but not before I wish you
all a blessings
filled week. Remember, Jesus loves you
and we do too.
Okie dokie, where can
that ornery off switch be trying to hide
this
time? Hmm, I went to the kitchen
and got me some grape Koolaid and on
my
trip back into the computer room I
happened to notice my mouse cord was
it
was moving. LOL, ya tripped on it
trying to hide behind the DSL
modem
didn’t ya hehehe. On top of that, you
didn’t quite make it. I
guess you gave
up when I saw ya, cause now you’re
just sitting there with
a grin on your face.
🙂 Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzz.
God bless

Healing Touch
The touch of sight
the
touch of sound
can give a healing
of life all around.
Scenes that we
see
or hear in a way
can be our healers
in wondrous array.
A healing
touch
of time and place
can give blessings
of a smiling face.
The
beauty of life
just waits to be seen
things we pass by
could be a
dream.
A living moment
of sight and sound
needs to be noticed
needs
to be found.
Find the blessings
in a heartbeat’s beat
and let them
grow
to calm the heat.
Things we remember
things we recall
can be
our blessings
to cure our fall.
Let God guide you
with love so
much
and show you life
with a healing touch.

A Vessel Appears
Seas of a moment
life times are
seen
timeless emotions
of aquamarine.
Clouds may gather
as a sorted
array
as a vessel appears
to welcome the day.
Scene’s awaken
as an
awesome style
a fragrant aroma
of a flowing while.
Waters with
ripples
and timeless views
are as the vessel’s
seafaring
shoes.
Scented of salt air
and fish in the sea
a vessel appears
to
float oh so free.
It shifts its rudders
and mast to sail
in an oceans
waves
with timeless detail.
The journey began
a touch of the
helm
creating pathways
to another realm.
It’s as a
lifestyle
beginning with fears
showing a new day
as a vessel
appears.

Imaginary Dreams
Just like reality,
but not very true
ones imagination
can
create a view.
On through time
of an assorted gaze
imaginary
dreams
create many ways.
Some as an ocean
and other details
some as
a pattern
of train track rails.
You might not see
what time
beholds
scenes in the dreams
as our life unfolds.
Stages may
change
leaving only sights
some as blue skies
or stars in the
nights.
Our imagination
is a wonderful tool,
but when misused
can
create a fool.
Look for the truth
within imagination,
but don’t let it
only
see devastation.
We can grow beyond
what a moment seems
often
began with
imaginary dreams.

Year Ago Yesterday
Minds of a summer
on a beach
faraway
might seem just like
a year ago yesterday.
It may of been
time
as decades of past
now but only scenes
as shadows we cast.
The
years pass us by
leaving certain trails
the calmness of waves
as
seascape details.
I still find sights
within my minds eye
of a time
long ago
with an oceanic sky.
Watching from shore
I see waves rolling
in
bringing in moments
to live then again.
Now is just a picture
of
decades of time
a year ago yesterday
seems to unwind.
The years
magnify
most every little scene
as a place I remember
now but just a
dream.
Yet while I reminisce
the days of long ago
I also sort of
smell
the ocean and its flow.
Sea air’s so enticing
in this photo I
adore
creating the turnstiles
moments to explore.
It lives as
emotions
of a timeless array
maybe longer than
yesterday.

Just a Glimpse
Daily momentum
is brought into view
as time’s
preparing
new things to do.
Seasons devising
new ways to become
not
just a glimpse,
but a seasonal sun.
The grasses may die
and then turn
brown
as they’re preparing
to turn it around.
Snow may have left
as
grass comes alive
as just a glimpse
shows it to survive.
We might see
friends
or people we pass
that seem to be dead
in shadows they
cast.
Yet just a moment
can change the view
for just a glimpse
might
not be so true.
Looking deeper
into the vast scenes
you might
discover
we are not machines.
For just a glimpse
can misread a
mind
as life moves onto
a new day and time.

Yesterday’s Tomorrow
Just like a river
that flows of
a time
yesterday’s tomorrow
you might surely find.
Found as a
journey
that came and went
yesterday’s tomorrow
shows its
intent.
Yesterdays became as
the scenes of today
life in its
continuance
the minutes at play.
Forming as a river
that flows to and
fro
yesterday’s tomorrow
gives now to bestow.
Syncing with
minutes
as seconds tick on
yesterday’s tomorrow
shows a new dawn.
It
forms as beginnings
we may not perceive
times that intertwine
moments
to breathe.
Yesterday’s lifestyles
might right now exist
as today marks
arrival
that turns and twists.
Don’t let the past to
be filled with
sorrow
as it becomes as your
yesterday’s tomorrow.

The Rusty Crab
My dear wife and I
one
day set loose
to drive to a place
our times did induce.
We’ve driven
by
this place to eat
so many times
that we met defeat.
For as we
thought
so long and true
we both decided
to seek the view.
To find
something
a seafood way
to fill our tummies
in any which way.
We
found the food
was wondrously fab.
We’ll have to return
to the Rusty
Crab.

Blue Sky Beyond
Framed in life’s windows
are the minutes we view
the times
that define
what is me and you.
Some blue cloudy skies
above grasses of
green
display the heartbeats
some have never seen.
Moments we
remember
can become oh so faded
with a blue sky beyond
that seems a bit
shaded.
Linked to our choices
the voices of time appear
telling of the
stories
of now and yesteryear.
Life can seem endless
on the sad days we
find
if we always view them
deep inside of our mind.
Look for the
blessings
within the many grays
and let your eyes to see
another better
phase.
Allow yourself some time
to begin a different view
a time to be
refined
and to live within you.
Look for the windows
of a new day to
dawn
found in the beauty of
a blue sky beyond.

Heard As A Roar
Many times words are
so
often passed by
when so many hear us
and do not ask why.
So often our
emotions
will lead us astray
roaring as a lion
as we say what we
say.
Oh so many moments
become as a glance
only to be confused as
a
little song and dance.
Yet as our storm brews
we might still be
seen
found as a river
that’s just but a stream.
Times are
surmounted
as minutes portray
days that we’re needing
to kneel down and
pray.
Turning loose of anger
and letting peace begin
while moving away
from
the places we’ve been.
Maybe not physically,
but moving in a
style,
changing our patterns
and finding a smile.
Open your minds
eye
and seek to explore
a way to find peaceful
not heard as a
roar.

Doorways
Living for
the now
and not for tomorrow
often leaves regretful
filled full of
sorrow.
So many doorways
will open real wide
to only be tempters
of
a real bumpy ride.
Enjoy the moments
that time gives to see,
but don’t
allow wanna
a web which to weave.
Now is just an instant
that comes and
goes
sometimes with sadness
found in shadows.
Look before you
leap
in doorways you find
and take precautions,
for time after
time.
Sometimes doorways
will have better days,
but yet so often
be
filled with grays.
Find the best doorway
in waters of style
and then
enjoy them
with a great big smile.

Rhythms of Colors
A search through time
can display
rhymes
rhythms repeating
some scenic designs.
Just like the great
artist
in the sky of blue
colors are changing
from old to
anew.
Times never ceasing
as life moves along
using all the
colors
to sing their sweet song.
With rhythmic styles
of a rippling
hue
there’s found in a pond
sweet waters of blue.
The grasses of
nature
in the greenest phase
become that of artwork
for many to
gaze.
Scenes come together
with a magical style
creating the
pictures
to give us a smile.
Beginnings and endings
are sewed in
time
scented of nature
with rhythms to find.
Look beyond the view
at
all of the others
the timeless cuisine
as rhythms of colors.

Haiku
for May 18, 2019
Time is an
echo
that repeats its own moments
within its own sync.
Cosmic
equations
are as many desires
found within our dreams.
Shouting at
the sky
will not get you any results
but that of hoarseness.
Living
in a lie
can dig a grave of regret
when others find
out.
Flourishing dewdrops
begin their morning travels
as the sun
comes up.
Harvesting sadness
can create a field teardrops
that a
smile might hide.
Finding some stardust
in a dream of
tomorrow
might be yesterday.
Sharing a garden
with the magic of a
prayer
can grow many things.
Finding conclusions
without firstly
looking close
you might find you’re wrong.
Brand new
beginnings
might show glimmers of the past
that were not let
go.
Anger of a time
can create a barrier
that cannot find
smiles.
Nobody’s perfect,
but many think that they are
and are
obnoxious.
Loose fitting lifestyles
can become floodgates of
pain
when not having rules.
Looking deep within
you might find a
darkened path
in need of some light.
Life is a candle
with wax
melting as it burns
to leave existence.
The length of a road
is not
formed by the driver,
but who that laid it.
Changing
perspective
can also change how you feel,
so look for the
good.
Bewildered moments
can often be just a scene
that’s just
passing by.
Beyond what we see
might be a future to find
as time
runs its course.
Challenges of life
can be tools to help you
grow
if you don’t give up.
Roses of a heart
often have a lot of
thorns
to keep you alert.
Sharing a blessing
can make the blessing
greater
if you are sincere.
