ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been another week gone by and it seems
this virus epidemic is only getting worse as it
spreads.  I hope you are well and safe.  Judy
and I are doing well.  The virus has not made
it up here where we live yet thank God.  We
still have a lot of snow and it looks as though
we might get a little more tomorrow evening,
Tuesday and maybe even Thursday and ye ole
Friday,  but nothing of a grand scale.  Spring
might finally make its way up here.  It’s trying
to grab a hold,  but it keeps losing its grip 🙂
Yep today’s high is supposed to be 27 and it’s
24 degrees right now 6 PM.  Tonight’s low is
supposed to be 0 F degrees by morning hehehe.
Yep,  not much like spring huh LOL.  I don’t
mind it.  It has been a crazy winter.  We had
none of the temperatures that we’ve had in
the past and not near the snow.  Soon winter
will be but only a shadow and more of the old
springtime slush will appear.  I say slush due
to all of the melting ice and snow that creates
a muck that makes wearing clean clothes to
go anywhere an impossibility LOL.  It’s near
that now on the warmer days above freezing.
I’ve managed to take some great pictures as
each day has come and gone.  I hope that the
COVID-19 is finally under control before too
long.  So many people are struggling with not
being able to work and earn a paycheck as
well as kids and others not being able to go to
school.  There are so many things that are in
the trouble zone due to this,  All I can say is,
use this time to find some indoor hobbies to
keep your mind busy or even things to do that
don’t require others to be with you.  All of this
should pass us over hopefully soon.  Find good
things to think about.  I’ll be doing as normal,
just taking pictures and writing poetry hehehe.
I’m so exciting hehehe,  NOT.  As a matter of
fact I figure that I am quite boring.  One of our
old neighbors came by for a visit the other day.
It was great seeing her.  We’ve had quite a few
neighbors come and go throughout the years.
Our newest neighbors are still here and they
seem to be staying,  but then,  I thought that
about the others,  so time will tell.  This life
is not for ones that cannot handle the cold 🙂
I do get cold,  but I can handle it to do what
I need to do.  I’m a tough cookie.  I’ve just got
a problem knowing when to stop and rest LOL.
I tend to over do it from time to time.  It’s in
my blood :).  My dad used to do the very same.
Oh well,  it is what it is.  Judy and I do the best
we can to find things to do to entertain us. We
get by.  Not much money,  but then,  neither
of us is used to having much money.  We’re
hoping that the virus is done and gone by the
time summer gets here,  because we’re wanting
to play Miniature Golf.   There’s a Miniature golf
course near to where we live.  Judy has never
played Miniature golf :).  Yep,  we’re hoping
and praying that the virus is done and gone by
then.  We can still feel the eyes of God watching
over us and protecting us as is also the many
angels and friendly spirits that also watch over
us and do their best to help us.  Thank You God
for all that You do and all that You will do for
us as the days pass us by.  AMEN.  Now I believe
it’s time for me to be taking a trip back through
all of my rambling to see if I can find me a good
word or phrase that I can use for the title for
today’s brand new poem.  So it’s away I go to
that place of my recollection that I like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  I believe I may have
found a decent title just a few lines back and
now after checking I see that it’s not been used
as of yet,  so used it shall be.  Here goes…

Friendly Spirits

Life is often
that of ages
numbers turning
changing stages.
Minutes counted
now and then
time continues
like the wind.
Friendly spirits
watch and wait
now and then
within each date.
Days surmounted
time moves on
friendly spirits
help along.
Many blessings
come to be
seasons shouting
things to see.
Friendly spirits
watch the flow
and then help
as best they know.

There ya go.  I hope you liked the poem and
maybe even a  little of my rambling.  I know
I might of talked too much about the ongoing
virus that is amongst us,  but it weighs heavy
on my mind.  Yet I do know that God is still
in control,  no matter how bad things might
seem.  So,  I’m gonna put on a smile and do
my best to help others smile.  Hopefully my
poetry makes you smile.  I guess I have told
you all that there is to tell other than what I
tell you almost every week and that is I wrote
some more poems and haiku.  Yep,  I wrote
10 more poems and 1 of them is a Christmas
poem.  I also wrote 22 more haiku for all of
the haiku lovers out there.   I hope you can
find 1 or 2 of either or both that you like.
Now,  to begin my search for that ornery
hardly elusive off switch,  but not before I
wish you a blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  Ok,  where
are ya hiding ya silly thing?  LOL I see ya
you dummy.  Hiding under my eyeglass
cleaning cloth.  Hehehe I thought for a
moment that it had come to life,  but it’s
just you with your inability to be still 🙂
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky

Finding Reflections

A mind is a tool
to reflect designs
things remembered
a reflection finds.
Syncing up days
as weeks multiply
finding reflections
to surely apply.
Bringing in views
that moved along
moments unnoticed
until they were gone.
Look in a puddle
or an edge of a lake
and find reflections
to surely partake.
Things remembered
of a distant time
found as an echo
an awesome design.
Life has doorways
choices to choose
and many moments
as not yet to use.
So often our life
becomes collections
minutes to gather
finding reflections.

Leaves of Life

We are as leaves
changing colors
often no different
from any others,
but there’s times
that we perceive
life as a portion
others achieve.
We are the leaves
of timeless details
often with colors
a moment inhales.
Time’s perception
is sometimes lost
within the storms
of torn and tossed.
Look for the light
on darkest days
and find peaceful
to end the grays.
Look in the leaves
of life’s design
and find hopeful
inside your mind.
Allow God’s peace
to fill your heart
and let the love
to surely start.
Open your eyes
and say a prayer
for leaves of life
to find fresh air.

Uncertain Roads

Minds of a journey
travel through time
so often on roads of
rhythm and rhyme.
Becoming memoirs
written long before
of uncertain roads
we once did adore.
So often our vision
is blinded by want
seasons of desires
as a ghost to haunt.
Uncertain pathways
roads of cuisines
times eyes tasted
almost like dreams.
Times found within
as patterns to drive
on uncertain roads
to keep us alive.
We might get lost
in times of desire
minutes perceived
as a blown out tire.
Find in your vision
a lifetime to hold
not just of money
and not of gold.
There may be times
with heavy loads
yet with lessons of
uncertain roads.

Walking Through

A snowy white sight
can enlighten a smile
while walking through
to times that compile.
Seeming as a window
or a doorway in time
ones can find beauty
if they seek the design.
Scenes become alive
with a wintertime feel
scented of time frames
with Christmas appeal.
Look on beyond now
and find a true heart
a place within scenery
as a time’s work of art.
Maybe as a moment
of a second to view
a time might unleash
true blessings for you.
It might be a heartbeat
or maybe just a sight
as times while walking
in wintertime’s white.
You might find alive
a place you remember
a time that you found
within one December.
A moment you recall
that lives within you
is now just a memory
time walking through.

Open Windows

Snowflakes falling
create many views
times and places
things to infuse.
Some open windows
to let the snow in
as others seek sight
beginning to end.
Life’s as portholes
opening windows
creating the styles
as the wind blows.
Some might not like
the sight they see,
while all the others
are happy like me.
I love the season’s
flair as it snows
as it brings to life
its wintery shows
Some will only see it
as a pain to find,
but I see blessings of
a wondrous design.
Just like the pages
of a story book
snowflakes create
sights which to look.
Some open windows
to watch it fall
as so many others
try to catch it all.

Life Shines Through

Seasons changing
time moves past
leaving footprints
that shadows cast.
Walking perceiving
snowflakes to fall
seeing the images
time gives to call.
Words as windows
as a seasonal view
bring alive scenes
from old to anew.
So many will watch
as each day goes by
waiting wondering
as snowflakes fly.
You might not see
the times of life
if you’re walking
filled with strife.
You may be needing
to open your eyes
and see the beauty
within the skies.
There just may be
some snowy scenes
timeless moments
just like dreams.
You might even see
a moment or two
special times when
life shines through.

Life’s Provisions

We might encounter
a time so white
snowflakes falling
a wintery sight.
We might even see
a train’s pathway
found in the snow
an awesome display.
We might see times
that life endues
train track designs
as wintertime views.
We may even find
a written memoir
produced in snow
as words from afar.
We might conclude
that time stood still
as that of a train’s
life rusted wheel.
There may be sights
that time exposes
as life’s provisions
thorns of roses.
We might see tracks
laid side by side
opposable scenes
to take a ride.
Many viewpoints
found decisions
might find peace
in life’s provisions.

Falling Heavily

Many only dream
of winter white days
snow falling heavily
wondrous displays.
Some only see it in
mere photographs
seasons of beauty
the winters of past.
Yet there are ones
gifted of the sight
snow falling heavily
a season of white.
The timeless billows
that come in view
becoming artwork
of time thereunto.
Yesterdays gather
as tools to be seen
just like snowflakes
found in a dream.
Time falling heavily
is that of a gaze
becoming photos
of so distant days.
Seasonal artwork
can create a smile
snow falling heavily
in a magical style.
Time begins ticking
creating sights to see
as wintery moments
snow falling heavily.

Peace and Prayer

Thinking within us
praying for time
life can confuse us
in all that we find.
Peace can unfold
as moments display
while ones kneeling
so peacefully pray.
Look for blessings
in shadows we cast
as time continues
leaving ones aghast.
Learn to not allow
the nightmares in
as peace and prayer
can surely transcend.
Search within you
and find a memory
floating in waves
of a lifetime’s sea.
Maybe as a moment
a time frame so true
blowing as a breeze
that lives within you.
Moments of desire
can be much more
such as an ocean
and waves that roar.
Search for scenes
as more than a glare
moments unfolding
peace and prayer.

Pictures You Take

Living in a photo
is a point and time
a place you recall
of a scenic design.
It might be a sight
you found one day
a time and a place
of awesome array.
Living as a breath
that came unto you
pictures we take
create a new view.
Time as a shadow
begins with a phase
then ticking unto
photograph days.
We’ve got chances
and pathways to go
as we take pictures
of life and its flow.
So many moments
can become a test
deciding a picture
for eyes to digest.
Search for a scene
a wanted desire
then create scenes
you’ll later admire.
A significant time
a moment to make
found within time
pictures you take.

Haiku
for Mar 21,  2020

Finding a moment
within many emotions
can be difficult.

Losing a battle
can be a lesson to learn
to make you stronger.

Counting your problems
you might keep you in sadness,
so count your blessings.

Times that we’re counting
might not need our attention,
but only a gaze.

The passing of life
does not mean it has ended,
but yet just begun.

A wintertime breeze
can become as a snowstorm
with turn of a page.

Stressing over time
that emits only worry
can hide the good times.

Springtime and summer
give us a break from winter,
but many seek fall.

Echoes of our lives
live within ones we have known,
as they remember.

Minutes that pass by
hold glimmers of the future
as wanted designs.

Seeking for spirits
that do not want to be found,
might end in trouble.

Changing your lifestyle
will not change who that you are,
for that requires heart.

Traveling mindsets
can create books of time frames
with many pages.

Thriving on others
can leave you without a friend
as they walk away.

Loosing perspective
can dislodge what’s important
and fill it with greed.

So many wants
can often seem as our needs
if we continue.

Looking to the sky
you might see a cloud or two
that form memories.

Holding onto time
when it’s just a passing fling,
may prevent your growth.

Essence of a weed
is that of a desire to grow
even through the hard times.

Various doorways
will open and close with life
that gives and receives.

Ones belligerence
can unleash wars on others
that only want peace.

Now might hold sadness,
but tomorrow might hold joy,
so have faith in God.
