Hello my friends

It’s been yet another day of seclusion and
Judy and I are hoping that this is all over
with soon so we can do some of the things
we had made plans for.  We had decided to
go miniature golfing,  but yet as long as the
social distancing is concluding,  that’s not
happening.  Ok so what else is going on up
here?   Well,  Judy’s making our breakfast
or known to you as brunch.  She’s making
potato pancakes with the potatoes that our
beloved neighbors gave us the other day 🙂
Judy and I will continue doing as we do
around the house and when we go to town
to go shopping we’ll wear our face mask.
My face mask has a dogs face on it LOL.
Anyways,  hopefully life will get back to
the semblance of a norm that we are used
to.  The weather is nice.  It’s 57 degrees
right now at 5 PM.  There’s still snow here
and there where the sun don’t shine.  But
for the most part,  it’s melted.  I went out
the other day with a shovel and smoothed
out places in our yard and driveway that
the snow plow dug up.  I moved dirt and
rock from one area and filled in the ruts
that the snow plow made with its tires
and all.   That was one reason I tried to
start using our snow blower to clear our
driveway,  because it doesn’t make near
the mess.  Yes,  it’s hard on my old body,
but it’s that or do more clean up where
the plow digs up the ground and makes
mounds that I have to clean up and do
leveling.  Here’s some good news,  our
youngest grandson Christian asked Judy
and I if we would take pictures when him
and his beloved get married which will
be whenever this virus blows over.  He’s
at the ER now due to falling and hurting
his knee.  Needed a few stitches in it.  He
takes after me the old klutz hehehe.  I can
trip over flat ground LOL.  Although he
tripped over a rock.  Anyways,  yep,  he
and his beloved fiancee Tess are set to
be married and Judy and I will be doing
the pictures and videos.  But that will be
only when this nasty COVID is done and
gone.  So for now,  we are doing as we
should and being that we live out in the
boonies,  we don’t see many people other
than our neighbors that are in their late
70’s and we don’t see them that often 🙂
It looks as though we might get a little
snow Tuesday LOL.  Although I doubt
it will stick to the ground this time being
the ground has had a little time to warm
up.  Not much,  but just enough to melt
the snow as it lands if in fact it doesn’t
come down it an abundance and too fast
to melt and then it will hang around for
a little while 🙂  In any case it should be
done and gone fairly quickly.  We have
been doing some decorating in our home
as Judy bought some new cloths racks
and we tore down the old ones because
they were falling apart.  Now we’ve got
some new ones up.  We’re thinking of
buying a small shed to put all of our
tools in,  such as lawnmower and snow
blowers and possibly our bikes.  Right
now they are all parked on our covered
porch.  There’s not much else going on
around here.  Just making it day to day
hoping and praying for life to get better.
We do know that God is always doing
what He knows is best,  but sometimes/
most times we’re without any knowledge
of what He is trying to do.  We can only
see the apparent picture,  not the one
that is not in our view as of yet.  Many
times we are totally mistaken for what
His intentions are for us.  All we need
to do is do what is best for humanity
and not let our egos and wants to put
clutter in our paths.  If we must stay
away from others and wear masks to
prevent spreading the virus,  that is
surely what we should do.  Think of
others as you strive for life.  That in
my view is what God would want for
us.  God is still watching over Judy
and I as we continue our daily quests
in life.  I’m sure He is watching over
you as well.  Thank You God for all
that You do and all that You will do.
AMEN.  So now I believe it’s time for
me to begin my little trip back through
all that I’ve written here to find a good
word or phrase that I can use for the
title for today’s brand new poem.  So
it’s away I go to that little place of my
recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE 🙂  I think I may
of stumbled on a decent title near the
halfway mark of my rambling and now
after checking I see that it’s one that
I have not used yet.  So here goes…

Falling Apart

Signs of times
we see and hear
might show signs
of yesteryear.
Within memories
life might show
perspective sights
that come and go.
Times we recall
as certain dreams
and other times
as endless screams.
Today might seem
to fall away
leaving the sight
of endless dismay,
but rest assured
God is there
within our worries
within our prayer.
He can make true
a work of art
of all we perceive
that’s falling apart.

There ya go.  I hope you liked the poem
and maybe even my rambling.  There’s
not much else to tell you aside for what
I tell you almost every week and that is,
I wrote some more poems and haiku 🙂
Yep,  10 more poems with 2 extras. LOL
my mind couldn’t quit.  I also wrote 22
more haiku for all of the haiku lovers
out there.  I hope you can find 1 or 2
of either or both that you like.  Now I
do believe it’s time for me to be trying
to find that hardly elusive off switch,
but not before I wish you a blessings
filled week.  Remember,   Jesus loves
you and we do too.  Now,  where can
that ornery off switch be trying to hide
this week?  Hmm,  not behind my nose
spray,  not behind my glasses case and
not behind my aspirin bottle Hahahaha.
Where could it be hiding this time???
AHA,  I see ya you little whippersnapper.
Trying to hide under my COVID face
mask LOL.  Hey,  it doesn’t normally
move around when it’s not on my face.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

Spring’s Romance

Flowing bestowing
waters to pour
is spring’s romance
a wondrous allure.
It gives an essence
of flowing desires
formed to embrace
all that transpires,
Spring’s romance
is a heavenly sight
as it begins with
an image of white.
As winter releases
its hold on views
springtime displays
a new pair of shoes.
Worn as a new day
and new beginning
so often is heard as
bird songs to sing.
The rushing waters
of winter’s release
gives us the essence
of springtime peace.
Flowing as lifetimes
song and dance,
this is the sight of
spring’s romance.

Talking Times

Scenic pictures
give displays
talking times
of yesterdays.
Then as minutes
gather breath
talking times
are east to west.
Often peaceful,
often flowing
talking times
always growing.
Like a river
found in frame
talking times
might explain.
Giving wisdom
in every scene
talking times
are so supreme.
Find a passage,
find a view
talking times
of old to new.
Creating sights
within flows
talking times
a sight bestows.
Seek for peace
within designs
and then find
the talking times.

Springtime Desires

Colors of creation
scenes within time
spring comes alive
with lifetimes to find.
Sights of creation
times that unfold
the season awakens
from winter’s so cold.
Becoming a page
from a story book
springtime desires
are an awesome look.
Sunshine evolves
its brightest arrays
along with the rain
in wondrous displays.
Minutes move on
each second aspires
fulfilling blessings
as springtime desires.

Finding Blue Skies

Clouds of lifetimes
might unfold
distorted skylines
words foretold.
Look for the truth
and let it be
ageless blue skies
sights to see.
Find within clouds
new days done
sights and sounds
a shining sun.
Look beyond then
and find a way
the life and times
a dawning day.
The scenes created
for our eyes
scenic doorways
life’s surprise.
Found as journals
life begins
blowing moments
in the winds.
Let your heartbeat
in each view
to find a rhythm
life brand new.
Opening doorways
of your mind
finding blue skies
time to time.

Pictures taken
standing still
might seem like
a windowsill.
Stood with life
of futures past
a scene begins
a shadow’s cast.
Like a shadow
of a memory
so motionless
a sight to see.
Maybe seconds
minutes find
motions display
points of time.
Many pictures
we have seen
a field of life
within a dream.
We might be
just fast asleep
within pictures
oh so deep.
Drifting minds
can begin
searching for
a now and then.
Like a breath
a word to say
time might find
another day.
Dreaming times
of distant days
scented with
a life’s displays.
The memories
of oh so blessed
might seem as
so motionless.

Life Illumes

Stages of springtime
pages of a book
lifetimes depictions
create another look.
So often as flowers,
so often as trees
and so often found
as a passing breeze.
Lifetimes illuminate
as minutes combine
forming a picture
for our eyes to find.
Scenes become as
a window type view
often with aromas
of time thereunto.
Pictures are as time
creating memories
scented of a style
to surely appease.
There are illusions
that may seem real
stages of springtime
that only minds feel.
Time might appear
as daily cartoons,
but it can blossom
as our life illumes.

Mindful Reflections

Now is perception
that comes in view
scenes come alive
just a little askew.
Mountains and hills
of a faraway sight
mindful reflections
within the daylight.
Peace is a portion
of how it’s displayed
as painted by God
the scenes He made.
Life is a doorway
of choices to choose
as minutes gather
that sort of confuse.
Sights that we see
might become gray
seen without color,
but wondrous array.
Hills might become
as shadows of time
mindful reflections
of a scenic design.
Let your eyes find
the best of a view
one that lives on
deep inside of you.
The view you find
might only be seen
behind all the colors
of a magical dream.
Places as memoirs
written in your eyes
with pictures taken
of the distant skies.
Mountains and hills
scenic perceptions
these are memories
mindful reflections.

Arriving Styles

Thinking wondering
where and when
keeps ones churning
times transcend.
Thoughts arriving
another day
become the sightings
times array.
Searching heartbeats
times become
as sights and sounds
a beating drum.
Providing rhythms
scenic quests
creating roadways
times express.
Arriving at the doors
of how and why
photos can enlighten
a true blue sky.
Becoming a sight
found in time
reflecting as echoes
within rhyme.
So many viewpoints
sung as songs
finding conclusions
rights or wrongs.
Passing shadows
time compiles
can be our dreams
arriving styles.

Finding Vision

Assorted sights
arrive in view
scenes we see
from thereunto.
Just like stages
of times designs
finding vision
creates lines.
Borders crossed
times we weaved
just like spiders
life’s conceived.
Seeking sights
of another day
finding vision
has much to say
Worded wisdom
scented views
we find vision
to then infuse.
Timeless scenes
as eyes decision
are conclusions
finding vision.

Mirrored Minds

Reflective sources
live and breathe
moments found
minutes conceive.
Maybe memories
ponds reflections
mirrored minds
times detections.
Found as scenery
seeming as gold
times so divine
young and old.
Often moments
will come in view
mirrored minds
reflecting anew.
Creating scenery
up in the skies
as reflections
of times premise.
Then as a mirror
reflecting scenes
the sight becomes
as only dreams.
So many Mallards
of distant days
may land within
a pond of glaze.
Seeking to rest
as time unwinds
this is found in
mirrored minds.

Times of Change

Passionate dreams
scenes of design
become as a stage
moments in time.
Painted as pictures
scented as style
many perceptions
form as a smile.
Maybe sunflowers
in spring’s array
might create views
of a timeless day.
Like pages turning
of a book of seed
as times of change
give all we need.
Often as dewdrops
and often as rain
scenes become style
of a windowpane.
Within perspective
of a time or two
changes enlighten
a brand new view.
Find what’s hidden
in distant scenes
maybe sunflowers
or magical dreams.
Open your eyes up
to life to attain
and find the best
of times of change.

Looking out windows
you might discover echoes
of the passing days.

Searching for doorways
you might find many falsehoods
found within the rooms.

Backtracking on life
could uncover things you missed
due to much hurry.

Times we remember
may have different viewpoints
than we may of seen.

Searching for true love
can cause  you to pass over
someone that you need.

Answers to questions
often create their own void
within perception.

Lessons of many
can seem like mere confusion
with their difference.

Essence of sunshine
combined with many rain clouds
creates the living.

A hand can create
and can also tear apart,
it’s within our choice.

Looking to the wind
you might discover moments
that time blew your way.

Counting ones heartbeats
only shows that they’re alive,
not how much they love.

Teams of arrogance
can create unruly paths
leading to nowhere.

Many are novels
written imaginations
that only they dream.

Scent of a flower
is its own ray of sunshine
to give to the world.

Decisions we make
can become follies of life
or growth of design.

Lengthy discussions
with yourself in a mirror
can offer answers.

Doorways and windows
are in our pathways of life
giving us choices.

Now might seem a dream
as the view might seem to fade,
but it might be real.

Many are shadows
of others that they follow
in day to day life.

Metronomes rhythms
can help ones to stay in time
with moments displayed.

In fear of a time
can create other worries
that should never be.

A forest of thoughts
gives chances for confusion
among the tall trees.
