ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

We’re as ready for Christmas as we’re ever
going to be HoHoHo.  Hoping that all of
the gifts we sent get delivered in time.  It’s
out of our hands at this point.  We’ve been
running into problems left and right for the
passed few weeks.  All of our power outages
that we have had this month have caused us
many problems with computers and DVRs.
I got my PC fixed,  but it seems that DISH
sent us a faulty receiver to replace the one
that got damaged in all the power outages.
DISH is sending out a tech to work on it,
but not till Dec 27th so I had to figure out
something to get the DVR to not over heat.
I put some sticks under it to raise it a little
so it could get more air and then I put a
little fan behind it to blow on it to keep it
cooled down.  Hopefully that works till
the tech gets here.  They are refunding 35
dollars for all of the trouble which doesn’t
help the DVR to work or not overheat and
freeze up,  but hopefully what I did helps
it to make it to the 27th LOL.  There’s not
much else going on around here.  We do
have plans on delivering the gifts that we
have here at the house sometime early this
week before Christmas.  It’s hard to believe
that Christmas is just a couple days away.
This year will soon be over thank God.  It
has been a year of trials one after another.
It’s 32 degrees right now at 4:30 PM and a
bit cloudy,  but then you could never tell,
because it is dark outside.  Yep,  it gets dark
before 4 PM LOL.  We’re expecting a bit
of snow this week.  Not much,  but enough.
The first day of winter officially begins on
December 21 which is Monday.  Up here,
in my view,  winter begins in November 🙂
We will often have snow in November and
there have been times we have had snow
in October LOL.  The days and weeks have
collided and become Christmas.  We love
Christmas with the music,  lights and all of
the Christmas movies.  I’m hoping that the
new year brings us all a better life with a
lessening of the hate propaganda.  2020
leaves a bad feeling in my heart.  Hopefully
people can learn to look beyond religion
and politics and be more like family and
friends.  I’ve lost a lot of friends due to
politics and religion and they were ones
that I had thought of as family.  Lets all
try to find that bond again and not allow
them to be severed by the hate that was
spawned from 2020 and thereabouts.  We
all I’m sure have things that happened
that we wish would not of happened that
caused a severed relationship.  Judy and I
are praying for the pandemic and for all
of the many hateful things that have come
from the past to finally become but only
the past and not the future.  God is still
watching over us as are many angels that
we feel their presence of time and again.
We feel so very blessed to have each other
and all that God has brought or allowed
into our lives.  Thank You so very much
God,  for without You we would be empty.
Well,  I guess it’s time for me to begin my
search back through all that I’ve written
here to see if I can find me a good word
or phrase that I can use for the title for
today’s brand new poem.  So with that
said,  it’s away I go to that place of my
recollections that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  I believe I may
have found a decent title just about a
3rd of the way back in my rambling and
now after checking I see that it has not
been used yet,  so used it shall be today 🙂
Here goes…

Bond Again

Scenes we’ve found
as passing displays
might hold but only
our hurtful ways.
Take note the time
and reason begun
and let there be peace
with new days done.
Find the connections
you one day had
before your judging
left you so sad.
Bond again friendship
and bond again love
with help from Jesus
in Heaven above.
Look for the blessings
on life’s windowpane
found with forgiveness
as you bond again.

Well,  there ya go.  I hope you like the poem
and maybe even my rambling.  Judy’s headed
over to her sister’s house right now to do a lil
Christmasing, making back up presents just in
case the others don’t get here tomorrow,  which
it looks like that may be the case.  So it’s just
me and the boys here right now.  Judy will be
home pretty soon.  There’s not much else to
tell you other than what I tell you every week
or at least almost every week hehehe and that
is,  I wrote some more poems and haiku.  Yep,
10 more poems and 9 of them are Christmas
poems :).  I also wrote 22 more haiku for all
of the haiku lovers out there.  I hope you can
find 1 or 2 of either or both that you like 🙂
Now,  I do believe it’s time for me to begin my
search for that hardly elusive off switch,  but
not before I wish you a blessings filled week
and a Merry Christmas or what it is that you
celebrate.  Remember,  Jesus loves you and
we do too.  Now,  where can that off switch
be hiding this week?  Hmm,  looking in all
of the most often hiding spots,  but no sign
of it.  Now looking in the less often places 🙂
LOL I saw you when you poked your head
out of my greeting cards bag to see if I was
looking.  Yep,  as usual,  you cannot stay
hidden.  You’ve always gotta be fidgeting
or trying to see what I’m doing hehehehe.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

Swan Lake

Peace abundant
time can be seen
as a lake of life
in fervent dream.
Living windows
seconds entwine
maybe as stages
within our mind.
Just like a scene
that ones desire
as a swan swims
with life to aspire.
Forming a place
a time to become
a seasonal sight
of a morning sun.
Open your eyes
and look within
a swan lake scene
beginning to end.
See the blessings
reflections design
found as a swan
the magic of time.
Look then again
in a dawn awake
and find dreams
within a swan lake.

Christmas Beginnings

The passing moments
create many things
seasonal journeys
with magical scenes.
Beginnings are found
as stages of desires
Christmastime life
with crackling fires.
Children with dreams
of Santa and more
a magical essence
that they do adore.
Dreaming of presents
that’ll come in view
when they awaken
to Christmas anew.
Christmas beginnings
they will remember
as they grow older
with each December.

Winter’s Escapade

A river’s attraction
becomes that of gold
when winter displays
its white ice so cold.
Crystallized moments
enhance every view
as winter’s escapade
is then thereunto.
Seasonal doorways
swing with the winds
that of an escapade
that time transcends.
The living perceptions
become as each sight
flowing within waters
daylight and night.
Christmassy paths
with scenic reflections
create the windows
to time’s connections.
A wintertime moment
as a river may flow
can create escapades
times to and fro.
Life giving changes
become our memories
sequenced doorways
that time perceives.
Christmas reflections
so heavenly made
are God’s artwork
winter’s escapade.

Christmas Deer

Christmas sights
within our view
can come to life
as a wintry hue.
Creating passion
of a living array
Christmas deer
may come to play.
Seen as blessings
from God above
Christmas deer
in seasonal love.
Time becomes as
a life so sincere
maybe in view
of Christmas deer.

Distant Memoirs

Written as ages
pages will turn
distant memoirs
so many discern.
So many travels
so many paths
are remembered
shadows we cast.
Roads we drive
so often become
as wheels rolling
new days begun.
Christmas scenes
come into view
distant memoirs
become as anew.
Within seconds
times may occur
living breathing
memoirs recur.
Bringing a view
of many places
the distant days
of so many faces.
Open your eyes
now and then
to the blessings
times transcend.
Seek the sight of
Christmas stars
that live within
distant memoirs.

December Kiss

Remembering times
children would play
within December
in a wondrous array.
Found now as echoes
of a long time ago
with a December kiss
as children in snow.
Remember the sight
as minutes move on
becoming photos
of a time long gone.
A time you remember
as that of a dream
a sight you recorded
as a magical scene.
Heavenly memories
of Christmas so true
create a pathway
from the old to new.
Connecting the times
to then and before
with a December kiss
that time does adore.
Search for the signs
of a time’s memory
that may be lost
in the December sea.
Swishing in the water
our times reminisce
are Christmas echoes
as a December Kiss.

White as Winter

Dreams come true
scenes find sight
life giving times
winter of white.
Becoming pages
written in snow
white as winter
becomes a show.
Dreams come alive
as scenes procure
displaying stages
of timeless allure.
Life of Christmas
enhances each day
with its wonderful
and magical way.
Dreaming of Santa
as children sleep
white as winter
in snow so deep.
They may discover
a heavenly center
blessings from God
white as winter.

Country Christmas

Simple dreams
can become gold
Christmas scenes
young and old.
Minutes passing
can create views
Country Christmas
reds and blues.
Yet oh so often
it’s just a sight
country Christmas
in snow of white.
No scenic lights
to catch your eye
and no manger
for Him on high.
There may only
be passing days
country Christmas
for you to gaze.
Created by God
as a timeless view
that comes alive
to live with you.
Becoming seen
as our memories
Christmas scenes
we can believe.
Minutes become
as winter’s snow
country Christmas
for HoHoHo.

Lights So Bright

Colored visions
seen here and there
become a window
to a breath of air.
Seeming illusions
the seasons bestow
often as moments
occasional snow.
Many might see
but only the scenes
as light so bright
blues and greens.
Yet they may only
see glistening lights
as white only seen
in holiday nights.
Behold the view
of wonderful ways
Christmas sights
so many displays.
Scenes come alive
in a glistening flair
seeming to sing of
a night of prayer.
Let the scenery
to hand you a smile
filled with hopeful
in prayerful style.
Christmas dreams
can come in sight
as you’re seeing
lights so bright.

Season of Snow

Winter begins with
and autumn decor
leaves of colorful
sights of much more.
The seasons change
and put on a show
as leaves make way
for wintertime snow.
Each change begins
in its very own style
as winter gives way
for a Christmas smile.
Creating a window
with a great view
as a season of snow
with wintertime hue.
Find your blessings
as life’s winds blow
and you’ll smile
at a season of snow.

Haiku
for Dec 19,  2020

Time is a keeper
of the shadows of our life
that we may reflect.

Within the wind
might be words of confusion
spoken in a breeze.

Thoughts we imagine
can become reality
if we’re not careful.

Through an hourglass
life can seem as tiny grains
that change with our minds.

Rivers of today
might flow into tomorrow
and become as floods.

Within a garden
there might be many actors
that are only weeds.

Formed from illusions
time can display many things
that are only dreams.

A field of vision
can become miles of daisies
created from weeds.

Living for a breath
might become no breath to breathe
if it’s not of air.

Finding your footing
on a slippery mountain
might slow up your stride.

When you’re changing lanes
you might look back with regret
and want to return.

Beyond a liar
holds the truth of perspective
that wisdom will see.

Questions and answers
will collide with each other
in curious minds.

Traveling mindsets
can often become cluttered
with the blades of grass.

Searching through the stars
you might discover a view
that looks like your dreams.

Pages of a book
might hold many descriptions
written within words.

The length of a chain
creates a limited path
which you can travel.

Forcing your belief
on ones that are not like you
can end a friendship.

When chasing your dreams
remember they might just be
nightmares in disguise.

Need’s often confused
with our wants and desires
and become empty.

The lessons of life
are often misadventures
that came from the past.

Tomorrow’s journey
might be better than you thought,
so have faith in God.
