ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

I hope you had a good passed week
and you remembered to move your
clock up an hour last night.  I wish
they would do away with that stupid
daylight saving time,  being it doesn’t
save anything.  In fact it only messes
up our internal clocks.  When they
brought it into use it was mainly for
the farmers,  but farmers nowadays
have headlights on their tractors and
all.  So I hope they one day soon stop
with the confounded daylight savings
time.  It’s stupid and useless.  Only
a scientist would come up with the
idea that by cutting off the end of a
string and tacking it on at the other
end would make it longer LOL. Yep
it’s a strange and mixed up world.  I
surely hope that peace finds ways to
envelop those that are making war
for no good reason.  It snowed again
yesterday (Saturday).  It also snowed
again last Monday.  So yes,  we still
have snow.  I’m sure it is not done
and we’ll get some more snow before
it is done with.  Our internet router
has been giving us problems and so
I’ve ordered a new one,  but the one
I ordered is a different brand then we
have been using and better quality or
least I am hoping on it LOL.  It had
a lot of good write ups on it from the
other customers.  I’m sick of Netgear.
We have gone through 4 or 5 Netgear
routers that should last longer than
they did and their quality is not all
that great.  At least that’s my view on
them LOL.  You might like them and
that is you,  not me :).  So,  what else
is going on around this place?  Well
Judy had an appointment with her
podiatrist last Thursday and I took
pictures of our drive there and back
as well as few selfies while waiting for
her in the parking lot 🙂  Yes believe
it or not,  I am ready for springtime.
I do get tired of the snow after a bit
especially when it melts and refreezes
turning into slick as snot ice hehehe.
Even with cleats on it’s hard to walk
on.  Yep,  I am tired of falling on my
butt.  My old body cannot take much
more punishment.  I do though love
the snow when it is only snow hehehe.
Watching it snow is such a peaceful
moment that warrants me to begin
snapping pictures.  The snow makes
even the most ugly of sights to shine
of beauty.  LOL I know what you’re
saying,  Bill why don’t you go and
pile some snow on you so that you
will not be so darned ugly hehehehe.
LOL I had thought of doing that,  but
as soon as I would go inside it would
just melt and there I am again hehehe.
Just kidding hahaha.  I’m just being
silly.  Judy thinks I’m handsome and
that’s what matters to me 🙂  So what
else is going on around this place???
Well Judy and her sisters had plans
for craft night last night (Saturday
night),  but the snow and ice changed
their minds.  I was very relieved they
did not decide to do it anyways.  I’m
sure they will find another night to
have their craft night.  Maybe next
weekend 🙂  I’m a worrier and I would
worry myself sick until she called to
say she made it there and then was
safe and sound back at home,  but
thankfully,  they called it off for last
night.  The roads were nasty and the
county snow plows were busy trying
to keep them cleared.  The only time
we would of gotten out in that is if
we had an emergency and it could
not wait.  Then we would of driven
like a turtle to get where we needed to
be LOL.  Yep,  I’m ready for spring
also because I am tired of the mice
and whatnots making their way into
our house to find warmth and food.
I think we have had a ferret making
holes in our ceiling to get into our
cupboard.  We have since bought
containers to put our foods in and I
think that has ticked him or her off.
Anyways,  we have put up traps to
get rid of whatever and hopefully they
work.  It might end up dead,  but we
cannot have them burrowing holes
in our ceiling.  Especially in places
that I am unable to get to so I can
repair it.  I fixed the one that I was
able to get to,  but the other 2 are in
spots that I cannot reach.  Maybe one
day I will figure out a way to repair
them,  but surely only when these
dad gum critters quit creating more.
We can still feel the hands of God
upon us.  He is always watching over
us.  We know that many angels and
kindly spirits are also watching over
us.  We pray that the war that Russia
has got started,  finds a place that
ends in peace.  Innocent people are
being killed and that’s not acceptable.
Please God take it into Your Hands
and change the course of action that
has begun.  Thank You for all that
You have done for us and all that
You will do.  We praise You Father
God and Jesus.  AMEN.  Now I do
believe it is time for me to begin my
journey back through all that I have
written here to see if I can find me a
good word or phrase that I can use
for the title for today’s brand new
poem.  So it’s away I go to that little
place of my recollection that I always
like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.  It
looks as though I may have stumbled
upon a good title near the halfway
mark of my rambling and now after
checking I see that it’s not been used,
so here goes…

Back at Home

Life is a pattern
created with time
formed from living
keeping in mind.
Home is a place
we consider to rest,
yet many people
have so much less.
Ones live in fear
of others with war
invading so many
from near to afar.
We pray for peace
and times to pass
so to find blessings
shadows to cast.
God we need You
to help ones atone
finding true peace
to be back at home.

I hope you liked the poem and maybe
even a little of my rambling.  Yes,  I am
worried about the war,  but all I can do
is pray that God takes control.  There’s
not much else to tell ya other than what
I tell you every week and that is,  I wrote
some more poems and haiku.  Yeppers
10 more poems and 22 more haiku for all
of the haiku lovers out there.  I hope you
can find 1 or 2 of either or both that you
like.  Now,  I do believe it’s time for me
to begin searching for that hardly elusive
off switch,  but not before I wish you all
a blessings filled week. Remember,  Jesus
loves you and we do too.  Now,  where
can that ornery off switch be trying to
hide this week?  Hmm,  Glancing around
the room I think I spotted movement in
a place that there should be none hehehe.
Yep,  I see ya you silly thing.  Did you
think I wouldn’t see you hiding behind
my aspirin bottle that is sitting right in
front of me???  I saw ya peaking around
it when the aspirin began to rattle LOL
Did ya trip hehe?  Better luck next time.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Rocky
and spirits of Benny and Milo Pearce.

Heavenly Styles

Windows of white
become as a sheen
found within sights
then as a dream.
Heavenly styles
with magical flow
become designs
in wintertime snow.
Prayers displayed
as a heavenly stage
a season of joyful
a turn of a page.
Blessings in white
all over the ground
and upon the trees
we see all around.
Branches hold tight
to life from the sky
and create artwork
as snowflakes fly.
Forming a dream
that comes in view
within a picture
of old and anew.
Heavenly blessings
filled full of smiles
live in snowflakes
of heavenly styles.

Times Reflect

Life is a window
that we look through
seeing what reflects
in a passing view.
It creates and elates
as timeless memories
things we remember
as a scenic breeze.
Scented with emotion
of a day in the past
as the scenes reflect
with a shadowy cast.
A love that bloomed
as a timeless flower
a four legged friend
lives on every hour.
Memories live on
of a friend in time
that’s now as a spirit
of a heartfelt design.
We will often recall
what’s hard to forget
the love of a moment
as the times reflect.

Chair of Blooms

A walk in stride
might find a place
a chair of blooms
that eyes embrace.
Each passing scene
that times behold
might have sights
that can unfold.
It takes the time
to stop and look
and see the sights
as a passing book.
Read the moments
and see the flair
as flowers of time
in a breath of air.
Smell the essence
and see the sights
in heavenly scenes
that time invites.
Flowers might wait
to surely be seen
on a scenic chair
just like a dream.
So open your eyes
to harmonic tunes
found within view
a chair of blooms.

Eve of Night

Ticking seconds
count their breath
continuing scenes
the day has left.
Evening follows
bringing the sight
that of an essence
filled within night.
Dreamers begin
to open their eyes
within their minds
to see starry skies.
So many wonder
about all they view
when looking into
a sky once blue.
For then it’s lit up
with stars of light
heavenly blessings
the eve of night.

Cloudy Perception

Our skies might seem
as a clouded array
the moments in time
that don’t go our way.
Minutes might pause
and seem as a sigh
as clouds of thinking
is found in our sky.
Perceptions simmer
often creating views
found as impatience
the choices we choose.
Look for the beauty
that life has to give
changing your views
to a good life to live.
Find the rainbows
that come with rain
and don’t just always
bicker and complain.
Many times problems
are good in disguise
making us stronger
for the futures skies.
Learn from the past
and find what’s true
as a cloudy perception
changes its view.

Sky of Gold

Thoughts become
a time and place
that of a season’s
warming embrace.
With just a scent
of an ocean breeze
a time can create
the sight of seas.
You might be near
but without sight
of waves you hear
the end of night.
Yet in the distance
time is displayed
as a scenic story
a life’s lemonade.
Seconds collected
in a distant scene
a time and place
just like a dream.
Becoming essence
of times to unfold
as the light of day
and a sky of gold.

Timeless Echoes

We will one day
find our last breath
breathed in deep
as time will attest.
The things we do
and things we say
now may be echoes
in a horrific way.
Don’t let your life
be filled with hate
making what many
see as your trait.
Seek the blessings
and seek the joy
and create echoes
of good to deploy.
For as our days
are numbered well
we need to find
the best to entail.
Locate goodness
in all God bestows,
make much better
timeless echoes.

Passing Flow

Times we remember
the things we recall
become as a pattern
that stand very tall.
Friends of a moment
friends thereunto
might be memories
just passing through.
The snow of winter
enhances the sight
as a passing flow
of a seasonal white.
Becoming memoirs
written in our mind
words recollections
of a point in time.
Good friends of life
are a timeless page
a book of reflections
from age unto age.
We might remember
a moment of snow
within the visions
of a passing flow.

Coming of Eve

Down a roadway
life might expose
a sight of winter
that time bestows.
Life is a doorway
roads of design
as a coming of eve
seconds may find.
Often the scenery
may seem to smile
becoming as time
a seasonal while.
The sky up above
or in front of you
might have a sight
as a magical view.
It might become
as a painted array
as evening arrives
at the end of day.
Enjoy the sights
a time may weave
as life awakens
the coming of eve.

Focus on The Road

The sun might shine
of a wondrous glow
along with the signs
of some melting snow.
Look straight ahead
and not another way,
for the sun may shine
as the end of the day.
Often our perception
is lost within a world
of the now and again
that times unfurled.
Listing the pathways
as lessons to learn
focus on the journey
each twist and turn.
Open up your eyes
to see what is there,
don’t let distractions
make you unaware.
Sometimes moments
are but only a phase
with lessons to learn
for the coming days.
Don’t let distractions
make troubles unfold.
Follow your pathway,
but focus on the road.

Haiku
for Mar 12,  2022

Ventures of lifetimes
may seem to be as failures,
but lessons are learned.

Years might pass quickly
leaving many things undone
and create regrets.

Limits on a dream
are those that we let fade off
with lack of belief.

Facts over fiction
can determine what is truth
and what never was.

Lessons from the past
that seem at times as nightmares
might be great teachers.

Some tomorrows of life
might seem just like reflections
of what we’ve been through.

Leaning too heavy
on a good friend that is tired
might cause them to leave.

Seasonal doorways
to the many scenes of life
are as time’s heartbeats.

Rhythm of a night
begins with what we can’t see,
but yet hear clearly.

Within emptiness
there’s a chance to find Jesus
and be filled with love.

Trying not doing
often only finds dead space
where nothing is done.

Glimmers of hopeful
reside within our prayers
adding God’s blessings.

Many thoughts we have
can become fuel for troubles
that were never there.

Life is like kindling
if we keep it fueled with love
it will burn brightly.

Stages of our life
can often look like shadows
that only we see.

Looking too deeply
into the past that is gone
can create sadness.

Efforts of many
are not heard by anyone,
but yet can be seen.

Pages of a book
can hold many perspectives
we misunderstand.

Harboring anger
for someone’s mistake they made
might be hurting you.

The leaves of autumn
become as mere memories
as time goes its way.

Challenging someone
that you know nothing about
can be destructive.

Gardens of refuse
have nothing that’s worth eating,
so plant seeds wisely.
