This Christmas

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends
and
Happy Day After Christmas

I hope you had a Merry Christmas. Ours was a little
bumpy with car problems and all, but it smoothed out
as time went on. Yet my PC is dying and may not be
able to start it up if I ever shut it down being the power
supply or the processor is quitting. Needless to say
I will have to wait until we either make it to Texas or
I have a little money to mail it to my computer guys in
Greenville Texas. There’s not anyone up here I know
that is that good with PC’s that I can trust with my info
and my eyesight through the many strokes has gotten
too bad to trust myself working on anything in my PC.
Darn it, spend years learning only to lose my eyesight.
But of course I was also wanting Ron and Mandy to
put a larger hard drive in this thing being it is almost
filled to capacity and it requires the ability to move
all the info from this hard drive to the new one and I
have not got that. Oh well, just letting you know that
if or shall I say when I shut my PC down, I may not
be able to restart it, so I will be gone for a long while.
Now it’s off of the problems and onto some good news.
Judy found the recipe for Green Bean Casserole and
made it along with a ham for Christmas. I made the
potatoes LOL hehehe OK I didn’t make the potatoes,
I just cooked them LOL. Ya grow potatoes! Judy and
I exchanged gifts Christmas morning. She bought me
a red coat. I think she loves the fact that I look like
Santa Claus heheheHoHoHo. She also wrote me a
beautiful poem and framed it. I got her one of those
Snuggy’s, but called a Cozy Up from Macy’s instead
of TV. I wanted to at least get her something. We
got the kids something which was our main concern.
I was going to write Judy a poem, but she is running
out of places to hang them hehehe. She already has
3 hanging on the wall that I wrote her. All in all our
Christmas was good. I wish I could of seen my mom,
friends and family for Christmas, but this is the 4th
year I’ve not seen them for Christmas. Maybe things
will be better next year. My mom is going through
some troubled times and I wish I could be there for
her. I talked to my daughter last night on the phone,
but she gotta out of range and lost the signal amidst
our conversation. She sent me an email telling me
she will try to call today. I love you Jamye. I love
Sami too. Tell Sami to call me sometime 🙂 I enjoy
hearing from her as well. Maybe yall can make it
up this way sometime. Oh yea, we had a white
Christmas which was wonderful. It’s supposed to
snow again tonight tomorrow and Tuesday. Can’t
really tell being God is the only ONE that really
knows what it’s gonna do. None the less it is very
white outside 🙂 Judy had to go back to work this
morning. It would be great if the diner had some
benefits such as vacation pay or sick leave, but
that’s life as a cook in a diner. There are many
that are in much worse shape then Judy and I so
we feel blessed. LOL, yes we get a bit perturbed
at times, but that’s our humanity. There is not
one of us that is happy 24-7 with our lives. We
each will meet our moments of derangement and
in those moments we need to seek for Jesus and
His Guidance. Yes God has also given us ways
to deal with our issues, but many times our egos
will prevent us from reaching out and letting ones
know we are in despair. Don’t let pride to take
away your chance for joy. Pride is a good thing
to have, but an over abundance of it can destroy
you as well as all your relationships. Let this
Christmas be a venture with new beginnings as
the magic of giving and receiving is learned on
a different scale. Start the new year with new
eyes and a new heart. Let God show you the
blessings you can receive just by allowing them
to happen. Let love blossom as it never has
before. Let your eyes see what God has put
before you and let your heart hear His rhythms.
Now I believe it’s time for me to begin my little
venture back through all I have written to see
if I can find a good word or phrase that I can
use for the title for today’s poem. So it’s away
I go to that place of my recollection that I like
to call RECOLLECT VILLE. I believe I found
a simple little title that will work wonderfully.
Here goes. Hope you like it 🙂

This Christmas

Now this Christmas
look and see
things you’ve lost
through history.
Things forgotten
in detail
lives of love
found so well.
Let this Christmas
show you true
ways that time
can be as new.
Find within
those memories
ways to sail
the love filled seas.
All the friends
of days gone by
now this Christmas
seek to try.
Let God’s Love
through Jesus Christ
help us open
up our eyes.
Look this Christmas
now and past
see the love
that now can last.

So this will be the last Christmas poem for this year,
hehehehe maybe. Anyways, the new year is upon us
and knocking on the door loudly. Yes, by this time
next week it will be a day after New Years Day with
new beginnings and new chances for a better life if we
would only attempt to do our best. I’ve found that we
often repeat what we allow to repeat which is many
times through our failure to have learned what went
wrong the first time. History in that sense is doomed
to be repeated. Look at all you’ve learned and use the
lessons as best that you can, yet allow your humanity,
for we will most undoubtedly make mistakes. That’s
life hehehe. Well I reckon it’s about time for me to
tell ya what I tell ya every week and that is I wrote
some more poems, yet not but a handful hehehehe.
Hey, it was Christmastime and we spent more of
our time watching Christmas movies and enjoying
being together. I did though write four Christmas
poems on the 21st and sent them to my friend Ben
Geurts in Holland to upload to his Christmas site.
So I will share those poems with you here. Nope
I didn’t write any haiku. I’m almost sure though
that I will have some for you NEXT YEAR LOL.
It’s time now for me to be searching for ye old
off switch, but not before I wish you a wonderful
God filled week. Remember, Jesus loves you and
we do too. Now to find that off switch. Hehehe
found it hiding under the Christmas tree HoHoHo.
See ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems
4 hehehe seems small huh 🙂
OH yea, I wrote my daughter
and granddaughter a little
poem Monday the 20th which
will make 5 hehehehehe.
I’ll share it first 🙂

Miles Away

Joy comes blending
shadows cast
when we venture
from the past.
Lessons learned
from way back when
help us daily
to begin.
Joy filled echoes
find a way
in our moments
day to day.
Joy comes blending
in a whirl
as the timeframes
then unfurl.
Love of fathers
from a time
fill the hearts of
nows design.
Scenes remembered
deep inside
create ventures
far and wide.
Then time turns
to history
with a young one
then to see.
A grandfather
now holds true
a granddaughters
hopeful view.
Wanting waiting
for the day
to see them both
now miles away.

Seasons Greetings

Seasons greetings
getting great
are with Christmas
I can’t wait.
All the blessings
wished so true
find a way
to come on through.
Maybe not what
we wished for,
but what’s best
not from a store.
Many people
seek attained
all that money
only gained.
Yet it’s heartfelt
Christmas cheer
that will better
make the year.
Keeping Christmas
all the while
with a joyful
happy smile.
Remember Jesus
came that day
to give gifts
the greatest way.
From the heart
with love entire
not with Earthly
wants desire.
Seasons greetings
to you true
and Merry Christmas
from me to you.

Christmas Delish

Found in a window
there in a store
is a great wonder
ones want to explore.
Tiny young children
seek for much joy
found through the moments
of a Christmas toy.
Searching with parents
and on Santa’s lap
children are seen then
with their coat and cap.
Many tell Santa
their own secret wish
something so wondrous
as Christmas delish.
Maybe an easy bake
or a toy soldier,
or something other
for them a little older.
Christmas delish
comes in with smile
with all the things
they wanted a while.
The children all sit
on old Santa’s knee
telling him all that
they’re wanting for free.
Saying sweet Santa
I’ve been good each day
as Santa Claus sees
a much different way.
Have you been good
and tried very well
to be much better
than past times detail?
If you’re real mean
and not doing right
Santa might not come
on Christmas Eve night.
So be much better
than how that you’ve been
and show some love now
that’s not filled with sin.
Give from your heart
what Jesus would ask,
then maybe Santa
will come with his task.
Down through your chimney
to your Christmas tree,
Santa might bring then
some joyful to see.

Don’t Be Greedy

Haunting days
of way back when
come reminding
of our sin.
Times conclusions
from desires
while we’re wanting
what’s not ours.
Haunted moments
come with pain
from the times
of wanted gain.
Christmas bundles
may be found
as some homeless
all around.
Those with problems
not so funny
without food
or any money.
If you have a
dime to give
then why not
help others live!
Maybe a moment
given with love
will make Christmas
all thereof.
Don’t be greedy
this great day.
Show some love
in Christmas way.
Maybe a smile
is all that’s needed
to make others
then succeeded.
Seeing Christmas
truly then
you might help it
to begin.

Being Grateful

Chimes of times
of Christmas songs
sound about
what that belongs.
Songs so joyful
here and there
as some blessings
answered prayer.
Scenes are found
in Christmas days
showing many
great displays.
Lights all lit
from near to far
as we see them
from our car
and when joyful
comes to mind
we sing songs
of Christmastime.
In our hearts
we find so true
sights and sounds
in every view.
Glittering snowflakes
falling down
land so softly
on the ground
painting pictures
far and wide
that of Christmas
deep inside.
In those moments
we can hear
sounds of joy
all through the year.
Being grateful
what we’ve got,
because with love
we’ve got a lot.
