ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It started snowing late last night and snowed
most of the day,  but as of near 5 PM it has
ceased and the sky is clearing,  but it could be
just playing games being it shows on my PC
that there’s chance of snow a lil bit Monday
and a little off and on throughout the week 🙂
We got near about 10 inches today.  Not too
bad.  We have no place to be and so I’m not
in any hurry to do snow blowing LOL.  The
snow might melt a bit tomorrow with the high
of 42 F being in the forecast :).  Maybe even
the guy that plows our driveway will come and
clear it before we need to go anywhere.  We’re
OK now being we went to Walmart Saturday
and got a few necessities before the snow had
begun.  Of course there was already a ton of
snow on the ground from the passed days of
snow LOL and now we have MORE.  I tell
people that we more than often have snow on
into April and we have had it in May in the
past 🙂  Each year is a surprise to see when it
starts and how much we get as well as long it
snows.  Judy and I love to watch it snow and
we more than often take pictures of it while
it’s snowing and afterwards.  It is very pretty.
Although it does make it hard to get out of
the driveway at times,  but we manage.  I’ve
grown used to it and just look for the good
in it.  I’m happy that we don’t have all of the
fires,  floods,  landslides,  earthquakes as
well as the tornadoes and hurricanes up here
where we live.  Maybe a few.  but just a small
few of them.  I do though miss a few things
about Texas which are my family and friends
as well as our favorite place in Texas which
is Port Aransas.  Judy and I still talk about
one day taking a trip down and visiting and
returning to Port Aransas to walk upon the
beach again and take pictures of the sunrises
and waves as well as ourselves.  It’s a dream
that we hope to come true one day,  but for
now,  we try to focus on what we are able
to do and find enjoyment in it.  We noticed
last Monday that the city was finally tearing
down the old house that her mom, dad and
brother Ricky lived in.  It would of taken
a lot more than we have to fix it to be able
to live in it.  Of course this house has a few
downfalls,  but we are happy.  Life is not
always meant to be happiness,  being if it
was,  we would soon get bored and cease
being happy.  Too much of a good thing
can create misery.  Judy has a doctors app
Thursday for a cat scan,  so up until then
we’ll just hang around the house unless we
find we need something from the store 🙂
Of course we have already thought of one
thing we’re gonna need sometime this week
and that is dog food,  but we have enough
to get us by for a couple of days 🙂 maybe
even till Thursday when Judy has her doctors
appointment.  So what else is going on in
this wintertime household?  There’s not
much going on here.  Judy and I have been
watching a lot of Heavy Rescue 401 and
Highway Thru Hell on the Weather Channel.
We’ve got it so it records them so we can
watch them on our time frame which is late
at night and early morning  until we head to
bed and then we watch cartoons till we’re
ready to go to sleep 🙂  We’re an exciting
bunch aren’t we LOL.   God has been good
to us.  We can feel His love with us as well
as many angels and kindly spirits.  Judy and
I feel very blessed to have one another and
be able to do what we do.  I know we don’t
do or have much,  but we are grateful for
what all we’re able to do and what we have.
Please Lord God,  watch over our family
and friends and protect them from the ills
of life  and give them the strength to endure
what life throws their way.  Thank You for
all that You have done for us and surely
all that You will do.  Amen and Amen…
Now I do believe it’s time for me to begin
my search back through all of my rambling
to see if I can find a good word or phrase
that I can use for the title for today’s new
poem.  So it’s away I go,  to that lil place
of my recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I found me
a good title near the beginning of all of my
rambling and now after checking,  I see that
it has not been used yet,  which comes to a
BIG surprise to me being how simple that
the title is LOL.  So here goes…

Necessities

Times in our life
might seem so slow
dispersing seconds
as a timeless flow.
Yet many passages
are there to become
the tools you need
before you’ve begun.
Necessary people
with necessary views
give what we need
to help life infuse.
Teaching of patience
and lessons of time
all the necessities
to help our design.
Let God help you
to find a little peace
found in our life
as times necessities.

Well,  there ya go.  I hope you liked the poem
and maybe even a bit of my rambling.  If not,
then Oh well,  maybe next week 🙂  I hope you
had a nice weekend and the week goes well for
you.  I cannot think of anything else to tell you
other than what I tell you nearly every week
which is,  I wrote some more poems and haiku.
Yeppers,  10 more poems and 22 more haiku
for all the haiku lovers out there.  I hope you
can find 1 or 2 of either or both that you like.
Now I do believe it’s time for me to begin my
search for that hardly elusive off switch,  but
not before I wish you a blessings filled week.
Remember,  Jesus loves you and we do too 🙂
Now,  where on earth or in this room can that
ornery off switch be trying to hide this time??
Hmm,  yes I know I need to throw away some
of the papertowels that I have stashed on my
desk,  but I still use them.  Needless to say they
are a good place to hide,  but it only works if
you stay put and don’t be peeking  behind them
 to see if I can see you which I can when you
do that.  Learn some patience you silly thing.

Seeming an Illusion

So often reflections
might seem to fly
like clouds up above
in a true blue sky.
Creating the artwork
of a time and place
seeming an illusion
with a smiling face.
There might be water
as a glimmering lake
seeming an illusion,
but sights to partake.
Truth is perspective
in how we perceive
as real or illusion
seconds may weave.
Blessings unveiled
as timeless emotions
that might seem like
a dreamer’s oceans.
God creates places
as times conclusion
that may be truthful
seeming an illusion.

Drifting To Sleep

So many doorways
become as a path
in a dreamworld
of future and past.
Found on a breeze
time is a place
as you’re drifting
in seasons to taste.
Minutes become
as just but a phase
drifting to sleep
in wonderful ways.
Seeing a blue sky
as clouds close in
creating a painting
a dreamer’s friend.
Sleep is a window
a journey thru time
living as heartbeats
dreamers can find.
Recalling blessings
in dreams so deep
as heartfelt scenes
drifting to sleep.

Ocean of Threads

Within our vision
there may be scenes
threads of illusions
seasoned as dreams.
There may be waves
reflecting on time
within an ocean
of a seasonal mind.
With our memories
we recreate sights
an ocean of threads
that timeless ignites.
Forming a rhythm
as a song of the sea
sung with emotions
of summer’s breeze.
Scented of blessings
true gifts from God
a vision of beauty
deserving applaud.
A morning awakens
as sunshine spreads
as life’s reflection
an ocean of threads.

Life’s Tranquillity

Trying times of life
come day after day
leaving the images
of a stressful array.
We might see time
as a bad memory
the living struggles
heartbeats can see.
Yet looking passed
we may see a view
many surroundings
of here thereunto.
Textured blessings
within our history
heavenly artwork
life’s tranquillity.

Living Turnstiles

Momentous colors
reflect in our minds
filled with aromas
of autumns designs.
These are as dreams
of heavenly views
like living turnstiles
with colorful hues.
Changes are made
as times transform
creating the stages
to then be reborn.
The same is for us
as life moves along
ticking as rhythms
to a seasonal song.
Creations paintings
frowns and smiles
presents a pathway
to living turnstiles.

Romancing The Heart

Thriving with desire
many seek for sights
such as the illusions
of timeless delights.
Opening emotional
pathways to be seen
taking on a journey
to an endless dream.
Seek for the seconds
of heartbeats in love
romancing the heart
with God up above.
Finding the moments
that live within you
can create blessings
prayers to come true.
Open up your heart
and let in the light
allow God’s glory
to shine very bright.
Then with a breath
true love will impart
filled with blessings

Spirits of The Past

As the ticking of time
life finds a style
as spirits of the past
with a distant smile.
We might see a dream
within the scenery
as seasons move on
creating times history.
There might be a light
displayed in scenes
within snow of white
creating life’s dreams.
Blessings from above
shadows to cast
may live on forever
as spirits of the past.

The Faintest View

Pictures hid within
might hold other views
seen as living scenery
the seasons may infuse.
Faintness of a moment
within snow of white
might hold a blessing
so distant but in sight.
Look beyond a minute
as the times unfold
for in the faintest view
seconds may be gold.
Richness of a moment
pureness of a dream
a blessing from above
God painted in a scene.
There may be a window
or a Heavenly door
opening some blessings
for minds to explore.
But if you only seek
what’s easy to perceive
you might not see all
that God did achieve.
There might be signs
showing old and anew
hidden in the snow
within the faintest view.

Painted Winter

Snowflakes falling
create a display
painting hillsides
in a magical way.
Trees may glisten
the color of white
painted winters
a season’s delight.
Life may be seen
with a scenic glow
as a lil snowman
time does bestow.
The sky may hold
a time’s fantasy
as clouds drift on
with sights to see.
Then as a painter
lets love to enter
it all becomes as
a painted winter.

Wisps of Air

The ages become
as echoes of minds
seasons creations
within life’s designs.
Seeming as a book
transforming a sky
some wisps of air
blow clouds on by.
Creating paintings
in a sky of blue

say how do you do.
Seeming a rhythm
as a song of style
the clouds drift by
with a scenic smile.

to rain a prayer

Haiku
for Mar 25,  2023

Just like some snowflakes
the seconds create minutes
that can form a smile.

Living as a mime
never saying anything
you’ll never be heard.

Years of decisions
create many roads in life
that are good and bad.

Time is a joker
as it can give a big scare
in the midst of life.

Throughout a story
some words might only be lies
to gain attention.

Tidbits of knowledge
can make ones think you are smart,
when you know little.

Years of illusions
might illuminate a mind
in wrongful thinking.

Tireless ocean waves
create rhythms on a shore
while singing a song.

Threads of emotion
are wound within the echoes
of our history.

Just like a teardrop
the rain can emit sadness,
but also a smile.

Clouds up above us
might hold but just a moment
or maybe some rain.

Gathering insight
can open a door to life
that will help you grow.

Leaving stones unturned
might leave you walking in life
not finding answers.

The leaves of autumn
are as haunting memories
in winter’s snowflakes.

Seeking the right words
for our moments of mistakes
might show more mistakes.

Perfect’s a viewpoint
and not a reality,
for it’s just a word.

Trading your problems
with some that you think are well,
might expose downfalls.

Now will soon be gone
so take heed of the journey
and look for the good.

Stressing over time
can make seconds seem longer
than they really are.

Yesterday is gone
and now’s just a memory,
so focus on now.

Traveling mindsets
can create havoc in life
by not staying put.

Tomorrow’s problems
might only be in our mind
living as worries.
