ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

So what’s new with you? Not much new over this ways.
The weather has been really bizarre for this time of year,
but I’m not complaining. I’m just hoping we don’t run
out of heating oil before the delivery truck gets here in
the morning. Our tank is sitting on empty with hopefully
enough to make it to then LOL. Ok so what else is new
in the parts? Well, Judy and I are still doing our regular
daily stuff. My friend Brian came over Thursday and we
walked out to the woodsy area to the right of us and killed
a stick with his military rifle. My ear was still ringing
all the way into Saturday hehehe. That thing was LOUD.
We took turns taking shots at the piece of wood hehehe.
Being I don’t like to kill animals other than of course if
it be fishing and planning on eating what I’m catching.
Yet I haven’t caught and killed a fish since the early 80’s.
I have though shot and killed a snake or two Mwahaha.
Those things are just plain creepy, but I only killed the
ones threatening mine or my families lives. Ok, so it’s
onto yet another topic. Brian wants me to go ice fishing
with him, but I’m a little scared to, being our weather
has been so warm most of the time compared to what
it has been in the past. But if he can show me a place
that the ice is positively thick enough and safe enough
to fish on, then I’m game. Let’s start digging a hole.
He’s a great friend. He want’s me to go fishing with
him down in the river below, but that involves us to
actually have to wade into the freaking water and it’s
just a tad ccccold. Yet if he has some water waders
that I can borrow that will fit me, then I’ll think on
it hehehe. We’ve still got a lot of snow outside and as
the weather changes, it will either accumulate more
or wash it away LOL. God only knows! Well, it’s
time to move along to another topic hehe. Judy and
I have gotten hooked on a little cartoon that’s called
God the Devil and Bob. We watched it last night 🙂
It’s quite a kick in the reality, but there are many
parts of it that are off kilter quite a bit. Oh well, it’s
something for us to watch. One part last night is
where Bob thought that he was God’s most special
creation and that he was immortal and could not
die. Then God said Bob you are special to me, but
so is that guy and that guy and that guy. You’re all
special to me. But sky diving without a parachute!
You’re gonna die! God made him realize that he
was no more important than the others, for we all
have our place in life. That’s what I read out of
that and then Bob panicked and grabbed at the
nearest parachuter saying something like, do you
mind if I tag along, I forgot my chute. God gives
us ways to take care of ourselves, but often it’s
our own ego that prevents us from asking others
for help or even admitting that we need help. Are
you one that is failing in that area? Do you feel
that you cannot ask for help because others will
think less of you or that you will become a burden?
Do you think asking for help makes you weak?
Let God show you strength through His Love as
you see that we all need help time to time. Not
one of us is immune to the pitfalls of life. There
will be times that will come as soldiers of troubles
marching down your very path, but with God,
you can overcome those troubles. Time is the
benefactor. Let yesterdays troubles become as
tools to use in today’s fight. Yet don’t march
out into a fight that you need not be involved
with. Sometimes it’s best to just walk away and
let God deal with it. God knows what is best!
Hehehehe I rambled again didn’t I! Yeppers I be
a rambling man LOL. OK, so I reckon it’s time
for me to be taking a trip back through all that
I’ve written here to that place of my recollection
that I like to call RECOLLECT VILLE to see
if I can find a good word or phrase that might
work well for the title for today’s brand new
poem. So it’s away I go. Hmmmmm I think
I might of stumbled on a good title, but we
shall see what I can do with it LOL. Here goes.

You Can Overcome

This moment of trouble
that right now displays
you can overcome it
in so many ways.
Often it’s our ego
just holding us down
making all the moments
to be just a frown.
You can overcome some
times that you see
by just remembering
your own history.
Many times decades
will pass us on by
leaving us questions
of who, where and why.
You can overcome those
times that display
when you take the time
to kneel down and pray.
There’s not a moment
that God does not know,
for He is with you
wherever you go.

Ok, so it might not be one of my better poems hehehe.
I hope you understood it. There’s not much else to say
other than I still need your prayers for my sister in law
Barbara. She goes for her last radiation treatment on
the 29th. Also my friend Tiny/Donald is still needing
your prayers. He is home now, but only because his
insurance ran out and would not pay for anymore time
in the nursing home. My mom is doing well. I call
her almost every day to check up on her and to just
gab hehehe. I miss everybody. Sure would be great
to get a visit from some of my friends and or family.
Well, that’s about it. I guess it’s time for me to be
searching for that silly off switch, but not before I
tell you what I tell you every freaking week and that
is, I wrote some more poems and haiku. Yet this
time I wrote 10 poems with one of them once again
being a Christmas poem. Also I wrote once again
22 haiku for all my haiku lovers out there. Hehehe,
big surprise, I also wrote 2 more poems Saturday
which upped the ante to 22 poems hehe. That’s 10 on
Friday and 2 on Saturday LOL. Hey I have my many
mood swings and I write. I also wrote some more
of my Thoughts To Use which I posted in Facebook.
I might add them at the end of this mess hehehehe.
So it’s time to say goodbye. Have a wonderful God
filled week and remember, Jesus loves you and we
do too. Now to find that confounded off switch.

with simple flairs

A simple place
with simple views
shows what’s good
with daily news.
A simple heart
that beats of love

that’s needed of.
A simple mind
without the greed
let’s God show
what all you need.
A simple simply
of these ways
brings to life
some better days.

Burning Embers

Youthful shadows
running playing
leave some echoes
they’re displaying.
Then as minutes
turn to hours
youthful shadows
time devours.
Soon the shadows
we once saw
are as echoes
filled with awe.
Wanting those times
round agin
where those shadows
once had been.
Yet the moments
growing old
leave us only
stories told.
So those shadows
you now see
can live on
as history.
Let the moments
time remembers
be as youthful
burning embers.

Painted Decades

When the years pass
and welcome tomorrow
many will look back
filled full of sorrow.
Wishing that they had
done differently
what that’s concluded
all that they see.
Painted decades
come into view
displaying all that
surely comes true.
So if you’re sitting
waiting around
for all the decades
that will astound,
take note of this
that I’m now sharing,
the painted decades
need some good caring.
Caring for others
and not just your own
can paint good decades
time can atone.

Let’s Make Christmas

Where is Christmas
when it’s passed
leaving only
shadows casts.
It should be there
in our hearts
daily as what
each day starts.
Christmas blessings
should now be
always showing
what ones see.
Yet so often
Christmastime
is just faded
from the mind.
Let’s make Christmas
daily found
as a time
that’s all around.
Not just one day
or another.
Let’s make Christmas
so much further.

Possitive Thinking

Time is a passage
that many perceive
lessons when entered
or when they leave.
Scenes through the doorways
that we walk through
find many wanting
another ones view.
Often our seconds
counted and played
leave us with minutes
we stupidly made.
Sometimes a passage
that many foresee
is just a fear
from their history.
Yet sometimes seen
are times of unknown
that we will see
just standing alone.
Take note of timeframes
God’s given you
and see the passages
that can accrue.
Possitive thinking
through here and there
can make the passages
answers to prayer.

Transcendence

While moving forward
we might look back
seeing if we are
still on track.
Transcending daily
passed what we’ve done
as we are guided
by God’s Only Son.
Seeing the choices
we’ve done and made
we can learn lessons
transcending grade.
For it’s transcendence
that comes each day
when we are willing
to kneel down and pray.
God gives us blessings
that many confuse
and just think they are
just a mere ruse.
Let Jesus help you
to see passed right now
and see the blessings
that you do endow.
For it’s transcendence
that Heaven shows
given as blessings
that God bestows.

In Winter

When then in winter
the seasons portray
white snowy moments
found day after day.
Picture type portholes
found at a glance
seen as a minutes
own song and dance.
For then in winter
some scenes come alive
seeing some hoofprints
as deer do survive.
Found in the threshold
of wintertime’s hold
there is a moment
then so very cold
and that mere moment
might last for a while
as many others
then just come compile.
Yet then in winter
there will come an end
for there is springtime
that will then begin.
So now as wintertime
paints every scene
I’ll dream of flowers
and tree leaves of green.

White Light

In the end
when time is done
I’ll be found
with God’s Own Son.
For when death
has come to me
that white light
I’ll surely see.
Then that moment’s
solid ground
I’ll be where
my goal is found.
Standing surely
with my dad
and no longer
feel so sad.
That white light
of God’s detail
is a ship
I want to sail.
Sailing gladly
up above
to that place
of so much love.
But right now
I patiently wait
as I just
anticipate.

New England Twilights

Starry are the nights
of wintertime’s dreams
filled with emotions
of white snowy scenes.
New England twilights
come at a glance
found so inviting
as wintertime’s trance.
Segments of night skies
take on a glimmer
as all the white snow
seems to just shimmer.
Reflections of moonlight
give a release
that for a moment
fills me with peace.
New England twilights
are such a view
filled with their blessings
each night anew.

Let Not Moments

While I’m moving
left and right
I might also
slip so slight.
There’s nobody
that is pure,
for we all slip
that’s for sure.
We are human
and will fail
with our days
and nights detail.
Yet Lord Jesus
forgives us true
when we falter
what we do.
Ask Him right now
in your soul
and He’ll surely
make you whole.
Let Him help you
now and then
and He’ll show you
ways from sin.
Let not moments
drag you down.
Find Lord Jesus
solid ground.

Written In Time

Pages are turned
in lives every day
leaving some moments
in every which way.
Memories driven
as that then of words,
written so boldly
as troublesome birds.
Words of a minute
sometimes multiplied
give to us sometimes
a hurt deep inside.
So if your journeys
then written in time
are not so blissful
that love does define,
let yourself turn to
a page of relief
found amidst Jesus
and filled full of peace.

Tomorrows

Tomorrows perception
is sometimes seen
as that of minutes
gruesome and mean.
Yet when it gets here
it might not be
what that you thought that
you’d surely see.
Tomorrows description
is often found
as that of problems
that come around,
but our tomorrows
are not yet made,
for today is all
that is displayed.

Haiku
for Feb 17, 2012

Living’s a blessing
that many will overlook
while they’re complaining.

Momentums turmoil’s
are some forced situations
we could of prevented.

Turning right and left
often leaves us in jumbles
when straight would have worked.

Scenes of wintertime
are as billows of snowflakes
falling to the ground.

While in a dreamland
what you see might become real
if it is meant to.

Phases of the heart
beat as rhythms of drumbeats
and others might cease.

Lessons come from time.
While some might seem to destroy,
they might show better.

Right now this moment
gives us chances to improve
what tomorrow holds.

Leading a blind man
with another of the same
will cause destruction.

Pointing out ones flaws
leaves three fingers pointing back,
for we all have flaws.

Waves of the ocean
paint pictures upon a beach
as ripples of time.

Leaving your sorrows
as just memories of then
can make you stronger.

With our emotions
comes glimmers of excitement
and also sadness.

Reaching for Heaven
needs to be done with good deeds
and Faith in Jesus.

Life is a rhythm
that beats of its perception
and how we view it.

Sheltered type lifestyles
might fall prey to the future
that they’re not prepared.

Shimmering sunsets
come as glistening embers
of what time has shown.

When a lie’s displayed
it makes truth hard to believe,
so watch what you say.

Beyond tomorrow
holds the shadows of blessings
that we have not seen.

A dog jumps with joy
when its owners arrives home
no matter the time.

So many minutes
echo our stupidity
that we never learn.

Pouring mountain streams
come as snow is found melting
and springtime has come.

Thoughts To Use

Thoughts are just thoughts
until they’re put into action and
then they can either destroy
or build up. Yet the thoughts
to ones self can destroy ones
perception of life and death.
Let your thoughts be not on
only the devastation. Let them
be in search for good answers
which can in turn create better
thoughts. From a thought to
a thought can be a complete
circle or change the direction
of the moment. God can help
you with your thoughts if you
will pray for guidance. Today
brings chances for much better

A turnstile in life
swings both ways
leaving destinations
chosen to view.
Often we will find
we have to return
through a turnstile
as an exit from our
decisions and they
often are not very
pleasurable, but
they are necessary
to find the right path.
Yet sometimes you
will need to find an
alternate route away
from where you are
as you use the lessons
that you learned from
that turnstile in time.
Don’t let problems
to take control of you.
Find answers through
PRAYER.
