Don’t Let The Voids

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

Have ya melted yet? I’ve noticed that most every state,
of course aside from us up here has had some triple digit
weather this passed week. It’s been raining most every day
up here. If not every day, every other day LOL. We’ve
had a few floods. Hehehe our yard flooded and the kids
from next door put a canoe in it and had a blast hehehehe.
Judy and I took tons of pictures of them rowing back and
forth in our little lake hehehe. It had no chance of getting
up to our house. The water would of just started running
over our drive and down the other side. We’re on a hill 🙂
Yet if it had of kept raining as it was 🙂 we might of had a
moat LOL. Pearce’s Castle with moat and no drawbridge.
Just some steps hehehe. Anyways, there’s supposed to be
a few isolated thunderstorms for a the next few days, but
no flash floods, so that’s good. Judy had to detour down
some back roads to get to Houlton, being the county road
was flooded part of the way. Hopefully the waters have
receded. Going the back roads makes the trip to Houlton
and back a much longer drive. Judy said that one of the
bridges on the way to Houlton was under water. Oh well,
we survived. Not much different than any year up here.
The high today is supposed to be 76F degrees, but right
now it’s 78F hehe. They missed it by 2 degrees LOL. It
should start cooling down about now. Thank God, cause
we ain’t got no air conditioner. Our home has windows
that open side to side and won’t suffice a AC window unit.
We’ve got tons of fans all throughout the house though 🙂
It’s not too awful bad, yet it is humid as all get out and
makes it real hard to sleep or rest or freaking anything.
Winter will be here soon enough LOL. Summers up here
never last too long. I’ve been trimming Benny ever so
often to make sure he doesn’t get too hot. I also figured
it was time for me to trim my beard, so I trimmed it
also hehehe. I cleaned out Benny’s hair trimmer and
I used it hehehe. It’s actually a mans hair trimmer, but
works well on Benny as well, being it has some great
attachments. Benny loves me the trim him. He usually
will lay in my lap and just close his eyes and rest while
I’m trimming him. That’s of course up until I hit a snag
or two hehehe, but I’ll either untangle it or cut it out
and just start trimming again and he lays his head back
down like a good boy 🙂 I was feeling a little peaked
yesterday due to not being able to rest with all of this
humidity and so I didn’t write any poems or haiku,
but I did get to feeling much better last night as the
humidity eased up a tad and let me rest. So I wrote
all of my poems and haiku this morning around noon
time or thereabouts hehehe. I let Benny outside to
go potty and I came in here to begin writing. Shortly
thereafter, Judy got up and let Benny back in the
house and Judy said he first went to the bed and saw
that I wasn’t there and then he ran in here wagging
his little tail wanting me to pet him hehehe, so cute.
None the less, Benny is now behind me in the floor
asleep. We’ve got 3 fans blowing in here hehehehe.
One in one corner and one in the other and then one
sitting in the window, sort of hehehe. I had bought
a water cooled fan for our bedroom, but found later
that being it’s so freaking humid up here, the fan
filled with water just added to the humidity, so we
just use it as a fan nowadays LOL. Hey, I’m from
Texas and wasn’t familiar with the weather that
they have up here in Northeastern Maine. I am now!
It ain’t too bad. At least I’m away from all of that
stifling heat that I grew up with, but I do miss my
family and friends. I do thank God for giving me
the chance to meet Judy and her family as well as
our newest family member, Benny. Also, I am
very grateful for the sights I’ve been given to see
and to photograph as well as many people that I’ve
met. God is so very great. He managed to bring
together two hearts through a yahoo poetry egroup
that were 2100 miles apart in the real world and
united them into one. Texas to Maine became just
a distance to be made as God paved the way. Let
God show you His miracles. Don’t let the voids of
self doubt to hinder your well being. Now I think
it’s time for me to begin my little quest for a title
through all of my rambling words hehehe. So it’s
away I go to that place of my recollection through
all that I have written here to see if I can locate a
good word or phrase that might work for the title
for today’s brand new poem. And it’s away I go to
that place that I always like to call RECOLLECT
VILLE. I think I found a good title. Now let’s see
if I can write some understandable words using it 🙂
Here’s goes nothing hehehe………

Don’t Let The Voids

Some times might find
you standing in fear
alone with a void
of thens yesteryear.
Don’t let the voids
of then thereunto
to be all you see now
in your every view.
Let yourself find now
a much better day
through all the sights
of which that display.
Don’t let the voids
to be all you see
through every day
in your history.
Find how that Jesus
can change every view
as you let Him then
to live within you.

Ok, so there ya go. I hope ya enjoyed all my rambling.
Hopefully I said something that made ya grin a little bit.
Also I hope ya got something out of the poem. As I said,
I’ve been writing since about 11:30 AM hehehehehehehe
and I’ll tell ya what. My fingers are tired of typing LOL.
Hehehe I’ve done way more in the past, so it ain’t no
big deal hehehe. Judy’s seen me write over 20 poems
in a days time. Of course that was years ago when we
first got married. I try to nowadays keep it to a bare
minimum of 10 poems and 22 haiku which I might add
is what I wrote today. Out of the 10 poems is one, yes
one Christmas poem. Also in there is a cute little kiddy
poem called Left Over Feelings hehehe. Yes I wrote
22 haiku as usual for all of my haiku lovers out there 🙂
With that said I reckon it’s time for me to be searching
for that old off switch that loves to try and elude me,
but not before I wish you a most wonderful God filled
week. Remember, Jesus loves you and we do too.
Now to find that off switch. Hehehe found it whirling
in the blades of the fan that’s sitting in the window LOL.
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Simple Times

Simple times
from thereunto
memories
bring into view.
Simple ways
of said and done
sometimes shine
each dawning sun.
Simple thoughts
of simple times
seem to have
the best designs.
Simple thinking
thoughts inlayed
sometimes have
the best portrayed.
Simple times
we’ve memorized
might seem as
the best comprised.
Simple minutes
tick on by
with the questions
how and why.

Wilted Flowers

Timeless shadows
minds dismay
with the sights
of night and day.
Wilted flowers
soon respond
to some raindrops
thereupon.
Seeming dead
at moments glance
wilted flowers
take a stance.
Raindrops falling
from the sky
become blessings
on what’s dry.
Wilted flowers
then return
for us daily
to discern.

Beyond

Beyond our tomorrows
there’s life in the breeze
sometimes just as the
leaves on the trees.
Moments partaken
as paintings that move
seeming to fit in
most every groove.
Beyond our yesterdays
that we remember
there can be goodness
now as an ember.
Yet those mere moments
that you recall
might need some hopeful
to win over all.
Not letting sadness
to be all that’s found
well beyond moments
that then come around.

A Well Painted Christmas

A well painted Christmas
in pictures divine
can bring alive
a wonderful time.
A well captured moment
of seasonal cheer
can help you make it
on through the year.
A scene you’ve remembered
in Christmastimes view
can help you smile
when now’s not so true.
A well painted display
of colors so bright
can bring a smile
to a real lonesome sight.
So when some sadness
has enveloped all of you
search for a well painted
Christmas to view.

Seasonal Showers

The weather comes in
with its seasonal views
flavored as showers
of bright morning dews.
Displayed as pages
turning so bright
as those so seasonal
showers in sight.
Rhythms of nature
beat with the hours
found in the moments
of seasonal showers.
Pictured as sometimes
clouds blowing by
seasonal showers
give their reply.
Words in an instance
that moments procure
seasonal showers
might be a downpour.

Winters Perception

As summer moves on
with each day and night
winters perception
might come into sight.
Often the summertimes
nights that we find
make our perception
of our wintertime.
Winters perception
is often our scenes
living as flavors
in summertimes dreams.
Pictures of white snow
found to delight
many will dream of
winter at night.
Then as the seasons
magically changed
they’ll dream of summer
not so deranged.

Temporal Balance

With every second
and minute a day
a temporal balance
makes its display.
Within our moments
counted so true
a temporal balance
comes into view.
Sometimes as sadness
and sometimes real glad
about many moments
that we have had.
A temporal balance
is what we see
with many people
in our history.
Sometimes the moments
slip through our hands
leaving us shadows
no one understands.

Gradient Blessings

All that’s remembered
of moments attained
might be a glimmer
a little abstained.
Yet all those moments
that we were held back,
might be the things that
kept us on track.
Often the blessings
that we each perceive
are just our wantings
not how God would weave.
Gradient blessings
are often viewed wrong
when we are thinking
we do not belong.
Let God to guide you
with His Mighty Hand
with gradient blessings
to help you withstand.

Summers Windows

The stage is set
with window views
seen as pages
summers news.
Summers windows
open wide
letting all the
views inside.
Sometimes rain
on summers days
makes the scene
with clouds of grays.
Summers windows
might be found
with some raindrops
on the ground.
Find the windows
best to view
in the summers
thereunto.

Left Over Feelings

A lonesome turtle
walked then oh so slow
with left over feelings
of a long time ago.
He carried his heartache
inside of his shell
of his true love of
a turtle detail.
This lady turtle
that he left behind
now was a heartbeat
that stayed on his mind.
Left over feelings
that now does perceive
made him to wonder
why he’d ever leave.
He turned around
with a smile on his face
and saw his slowmotion
kept him right in place.

Haiku
for July 1, 2012

The essence of time
is found in many heartbeats
that we remember.

Glimmers of hope
reside in many shadows
that may be of God.

Wonders of nature
come alive with descriptions
that many perceive.

Today’s persuasions
make us to do what we do
sometimes out of fear.

So many people
make the sadness much greater
that it really is.

Hearing a birdsong
reminds me of summertime
and all its beauty.

Divided heartbeats
leaves room for Satan’s sadness.
Unite with God’s Love.

Feathers of today
blow briskly in the window
giving me a view.

Mornings will blossom
as the night just fades away
leaving memories.

Echoes of true love
are as phases remembered
inside of your heart.

Now is a moment
allowing changes to begin
a much better day.

Beyond this moment
lies the shadows remembered
we might need forget.

Placing a marker
on what that made you to smile
might help in bad times.

Slowing down footsteps
could give you more time to think
about what you’re to do.

Often a true friend
will display some deception
due to humanity.

Weathered perceptions
often misread a moment,
because of its looks.

The windows of time
open widely every day
giving us chances.

As a bird will sing
it will maybe fly about
looking for a mate.

A frown on a face
displays a persons viewpoints
that might need a change.

Guarding too closely
your heart God has given you
might prevent true love.

Angels from Heaven
are often waiting for us
to change our footsteps.

When you’re with sadness
look for a little flower
and see its beauty.
