ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

So it looks like I once again got a late start on this.
Yeppers, I just finished writing all of my poems and
haiku. It’s hot! I know, it ain’t as hot as it is maybe
where you are, but it’s hot for up here and remember,
we ain’t got an air conditioner. It’s 86F degrees right
now. Tomorrows not supposed to be as bad, but it will
be in the lower 80’s. Tuesdays supposed to be around
72F, but Wednesday is supposed to be a major cooling.
A high of 66F degrees is the forecast for Wednesday.
I got my drivers license renewed. I had to before the
end of the month hehehe. Now I have a Maine drivers
license, not that I drive much at all, but at least when
I do, I’m legal. Being I cannot drive but a short while
due to my potassium level never being stable, I only
drive on short spurts or sometimes when Judy and I
head out to take pictures. We can always trade places
and her drive LOL. Our darned car is having troubles
again. The headlights quit, which I have come to the
conclusion it’s in the steering column and so we will
be out quite a bit of money when I get paid my social
security at the beginning of September. I was hoping
it was just a fuse, but nope. I checked all of that by
switching fuses and no go. Oh well, life goes on LOL.
Benny is doing well. It seems that he is an asthmatic
just like me LOL. So whenever he has an attack,
I just take him and calm him to get him breathing
more relaxed. He’s just like his dad hehehehehehe.
He doesn’t have many problems though. I think
he’s like me and when the weather conditions starts
changing, it affects us. Also I think he might of ate
a rock the other day, which is dumb, cause you’d
think he would know that rocks are not food huh!
He has already thrown up one little rock. I read
up on that and it’s something dogs do. Often for
attention, but most times it’s just because they’re
dogs LOL. So Benny is normal 🙂 He loves to play
and he loves to have his belly rubbed hehehehehe.
Also we’ve found that he freaking loves to go for
rides with us. The minute we say, you wanna go
for a ride, he gets all crazy and starts whining and
begging. Then he heads for the door which right
after the door is opened he heads for the back door
of the car and waits for us LOL. He just hops right
in with a little smile on his doggy face 🙂 He loves
us and the feeling is mutual. Judy and I love him
without end. He’s our little baby boy. Ok, so what
else is going on at the Pearce’s Place? Not much!
We’re still doing all of our farms on Farm Town.
LOL I even wrote a lil poem about Farm Town 🙂
Hey, I write about what ever happens to be on my
mind and that was on my mind hehehe. I’m happy
to now have my Maine drivers license. That was a
big worry for me, being that we moved up here in
2007 hehehe. I would of continued with a Texas
drivers license if I could of LOL. I’m a born and
raised Texan and will always be a Texan for as
long as I live. The overhead light for the oven
went haywire yesterday, but our landlord came
and fixed it quickly. Judy and I have pretty much
finished decorating our bathroom, but the Judy
told me yesterday that she’s ordering something
for our PC room, which she just now told me that
it’s a DVD cabinet. We’ve been needing a cabinet
for all our movies for some time now. She said
she went and found the best cheap cabinet that she
could find. Probably from Walmart.com hehehe!
God has been good to us. He has made sure that
we have all that we need with even a few extras.
I can look back on my life and see where it has
been with so much turmoil that it was a miracle
that I survived. God had plans for me, just as He
has plans for you. We may not ever know what
His plans are, but in the same breath be doing His
Will and fulfilling His plans and not be aware of
it. I can look back in my life and see where many
times that I felt useless that I had brought joy to
another just with a smile or my bit of laughter.
Let God work with you and mold you into who
He wants you to be, not who you want to be.
Sometimes He just wants you to give someone
a smile and be a friend. So I guess it’s time for
me to be heading back through all that I have
written here to see if I can find a good word or
phrase that might work for the title for today’s
poem. So, it’s away I go to that little place of
my recollection through all I’ve written here
that I always like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.
I believe I may have stumbled upon a good title,
but we shant know until I have written the poem,
so here goes……….hehe maybe nothing!!!!!

Just With A Smile

Today and tomorrow
might seem to be sad,
when what’s remembered
is all that you had.
You can find goodness
throughout all the time
if you look surely
for its own design.
For just with a smile
as simple times show
there can be joyful
to surely bestow.
Let yourself smile now
as big as can be
and let it to grow for
others to see.
For surely shadows
of you all the while
can become goodness
made just with a smile.

I hope you enjoyed my rambling hehehe and maybe
even the poem. So before I get too caught up with
rambling again, I need to tell ya what I tell ya every
week and that is I wrote some more poems and haiku,
but then ya already knew that huh hehehehehehehe,
being I told ya in the other section that I wrote them
all before writing this. Anyways, I wrote once again
10 more poems with one of them being Christmassy.
Also I wrote once again for all the haiku lovers out
there 22 more haiku. The reason I’m hurrying this
is because I haven’t eaten anything today YET and
I’m starving hehehe. So I reckon it’s about time
for me to be searching for that old off switch, but
not before I wish you a most wonderful God filled
week. Remember, Jesus loves you and we do too.
Now to find that off switch which seems to have
decided not to hide today being it knows that I’m
starving hehehe. Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzz.

Effortless

Sometimes our struggles
are without a clue
when we go doing
the things that we do.
Yet often doorways
of which that we find
are what that effortless
lays on our mind.
Often the pieces
will just fall together
leaving remembered
what all we did weather.
Effortless timeframes
will sometimes bestow
when we are going
where we’re needing go.
Yet often pathways
that needs will instill
will become struggles
within our own will.
Sometimes what’s needed
will be hard to see,
because we are focused
on our history.

Farm Town 🙂

This game I play
while sitting here
is a game
that I endear.
It’s a pleasure
that I find
when it eases
up my mind.
This silly game
of farming hue
helps me make
some dreams come true.
I dream an island
and design
that in Farm Town
time to time.
I dream of places
wished to go
then I make them
to and fro.
This silly game
removes my frown
as I play it
now Farm Town.

Wages of Time

Pages will turn
with wages of time
giving us often
a not worth a dime.
Yet looking closely
you might surely see
lessons from wages
of your history.
Wages of time
will often emit
things we will one day
surely forgit.
Yet in the timeframes
things might portray
things we’ll remember
in our day to day.
Wages of time
will surely conclude
things that might also
be misconstrued.
Don’t let the sad times
to live and breathe.
Find all the blessings
that God did conceive.

Without Our Past

Yesterdays windows
that we’re looking through
teach us the lessons
of what we’re to do.
Look through the pages
that turned in your time
and find the lessons
to help with your mind.
Without our past
we surely would fall
having no patterns
to learn over all.
Yesterdays shadows
might seem to impair,
but with good judgment
they have a prayer.
Let God to help you
with now and today
and let Him show you
a much better way.
Use what the past
has left in your mind,
for without the past
we have no design.

The Summers Heat

The stage is set
for summertime
as it paints
its own design.
The summers heat
today right now
makes my sweat
fall from my brow.
Yet the summers
here in Maine
are not Texas
close to same,
but the summers
heat I feel
is so humid
no appeal.
Sticky feelings
clothes adhere
the summers heat
does so appear.
So the fans now
running wild
try their best to
make it mild.

A Simple Life

So many minutes
that pass by
a simple life
does not apply.
Often journeys
said and done
leave ones then
not having fun.
A simple life
will often need
a timeless choice
to plant a seed.
Then when minutes
pass on through
seek the best
for you to do.
A simple life
ones can attain
when not seeking
only gain.

Winters Prelude

Soon dear winter
will be seen
not just as
a summers dream.
Winters prelude
soon will be
here and now
for eyes to see.
Then dear Christmas
will be found
with God’s blessings
all around.
Manger scenes
and trees with lights
will light up
the darkest nights.
Winters prelude
white as snow
will make moments
seem to glow.
Sparkling essence
seen with love
will be blessings
from above.
Soon the scenes we
find in place
will be white snow
filled with grace.

Without The Other

Good and bad
might seem not needed
but they prove to
make succeeded.
Living lessons
found to gain

a moments pain.
Now and then
without the other
would be like
empty mother.
No time lessons
to be given
to make future
better driven.

how and why.

Mornings glory
shines so great

with what they know.

Scenic value
falls in place
with a smile
upon my face.

own design.
Then the glimmers
of the day
are of time
that fades away.

Taste A Rainbow

Raindrops falling
from the skies
often land
right in my eyes.
Finding rainbows
after scent
I might wonder
where rain went.
I reach to try
and touch the show
while seeking to
taste a rainbow.
I see the distant
rains still pour,
but for now
they’ve left a tour.
A rainbow scene
up in the sky
to seek to taste
or give a try.

Haiku
for Aug 26, 2012

When facing troubles
look up and say little prayer
and let God calm you.

Venturing through time
without using your lessons
leaves you defenseless.

Pouring out raindrops
finds a few clouds up above
exposing themselves.

Truth is a factor
that needs to be put in place
for ones to trust you.

The weather changes
when it feels good and ready
and not before that.

Aching with turmoil
often leaves ones to wonder
will it ever cease.

Seeking tomorrow
loses focus on today.
Take care of today.

Scenes from your ventures
might one day expose themselves,
so watch where you go.

Window screen patterns
might look a little askew,
but still have a view.

Yesterdays choices
find ways of coming right back
just like a yoyo.

Believing in God
won’t get you into Heaven.
You must love Jesus.

So many footprints
encompass a sandy beach
with trails to follow.

Age is a number
not an intelligence mark,
for some never learn.

Losing direction
gives chance for a beginning
to find who you are.

Pacing back and forth
only leaves a trail to find
while nothing is solved.

Holding too tightly
can cause you to lose your grip,
for life needs a breath.

Hours and minutes
might seem as days that travel
without not a clue.

Summertimes shadows
leave their faces all around
as glimmers of time.

Hope is a blessing
that’s given freely from God,
but we need to share.

The basics of life
come in many unique forms
that many never see.

Seeing your shadow
guarantees your existence
either alive or dead.

When hearing knocking
it either means someone’s there
or you’re hearing things.
