ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

Yeppers it’s that time again. I hope you’ve had a great
Labor day weekend. Judy and I have been just being
lazy hehehehe. It’s a beautiful day today with a high of
70F degrees. Right now it’s 63F degrees at 4 o’clock
in the afternoon. I don’t think it will make it to 70F 🙂
Benny’s laying down here beside me in his little doggy
bed. Judy and I went out to eat Friday for my birthday.
I had an all you can eat Haddock and Judy had baby
back ribs LOL. Friday at the Brookside Inn restaurant
is an fish fry all you can eat. I think my birthday present
was 10 extra pounds. Naw I doubt I gained any weight
at all hehehe and I won’t explain why. Just two words,
(No Colon). After we got through eating, I drove us
down the road a bit so I could take a few pictures to
put in my stationary. Our dear little Mazda is going
to have to go into the shop this week or thereabouts
to have the headlights fixed. It seems that the switch
must have shorted out that turns them on and off.
Oh well, at least the parking lights, break lights and
the blinkers still work. None the less, I hope and
pray that fixing our headlights don’t cost too much.
We’re on fixed income. Oh well, I’m sure God will
take care of us as He has always. For today, Judy
and I are just going to relax and maybe watch a little
TV and mess around with Facebook and all of our
Farm Town farms hehehe. Not much changes here
at the Pearce’s Place. We do though spend a lot of
time playing with Benny. I’ve trimmed his hair maybe
for the last time this year. Wintertime is coming and
he’ll need that extra hair to stay warm when he’s out
playing in the snow. Yes, Benny loves to play in the
snow. He’s like dad (me) in that manner hehehehe.
I love to take pictures of the scenery that the snow
makes brighter. Judy also loves to take pictures
of the snowy creations that God gives us to view.
I always yearn for the sight of the first snowflakes.
It’s such a beautiful sight as it paints the hillsides
and valleys all white with the glistening of trees.
Only God can make that painting come to life.
Well, I guess it’s about time for me to be taking
my little trip back through all that I’ve written
here to see if I can find a good word or phrase
that I can use for the title for today’s brand new
poem. So it’s away I go to that little place of my
recollection that I like to call RECOLLECT
VILLE. I believe I may have stumbled on a good
title, but the proof is in the pudding or the ice
cream or something hehehe. Well, here goes!

Come To Life

Scenes all around us
might come into view
if we will take time
to see what is new.
They’ll come to life
so greatly displayed
that we might find then
ourselves so amazed.
Look at the beauty
of the sky and the ground
as things come to life
in all there around.
Let not your sadness
to hide them away
all of God’s beauty
of every fine day.
Things come to life
as tree leaves will blow
and then in winter
the whitest of snow.
Look for the beauty
that God has displayed
given so freely
and Heavenly made.

I hope you enjoyed my rambling and it gave you some
peace. Also I hope you liked the poem. I’m never sure
that my words will make any sense to anybody else but
me. Judy and I ate croissants for breakfast just a bit
ago after I finished writing my poems and haiku. Yes,
I once again wrote all of the freaking poems and haiku
today LOL. Hehehe Friday, I was enjoying relaxing for
my birthday after of course I ate TWO haddock. So
I wasn’t going to write then and yesterday I spent most
of my time playing with Benny, doing Farm Town and
watch TV with Judy. Oh well, they all got written 🙂
I guess it’s time for me to be telling ya what you should
already know hehehe and that is I wrote 10 more poems
with 2 of them being sort of Christmassy hehehehehe.
Also yes I once again wrote 22 haiku for all the haiku
lovers out there. I hope you enjoy them. I believe it’s
getting to be that time to where I need to be searching
for that old off switch that loves playing hide and seek,
but not before I wish you a most wonderful God filled
week. Remember, Jesus loves you and we do too.
Now to find that off switch. Hmmmm, where can
that ornery thing be hiding today? I see ya you silly
thang. The curtains are transparent in a way ya
know hehehehe. Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Tempered Glass

Times we’ve struggled
seeing clear
now are in our
yesteryear.
The tempered glass
that we’ve looked through
give us now
a better view.
Signs of times
through yesterdays
show us many
different ways.
As tempered glass
is made so strong
now and then
shows right from wrong.
So if you’re looking
at your past
find the lessons
tempered glass.

Falling Down

Step by step
we might be found
seen so foolish
falling down.
Yet those errors
of our ways
give us lessons
better days.
Falling down
might really hurt
as you end up
in the dirt,
yet some lessons
will fall through
telling what
you’re not to do.
Let those lessons
that you’ve found
be as teachers
falling down.
Sometimes pain
is really needed
to make lessons
truly seeded.

Making The Grade

While walking forwards
many stumble
and they stop and
sit and grumble.
Making the grade
may not show
in your life
of to and fro.
Often our ventures
will be seen
with what many
think a dream.
Yet it’s not what
others think,
that you should be
seeking drink.
It’s the verdict
that is laid
that your grade has
surely made.

Getting Cold

The weather’s changing
stories told
seasons showing
getting cold.
The winters windows
are now found
as the cold winds
blow around.
Scenes now blossom
that are seen
some as pages
of a dream.
It’s getting colder
every day
with the clouds of
winters gray.
Snow will soon be
falling down
when the winter’s
surely found.
Then the days of
then and old
will be glimmers
getting cold.

Pointless Dreams

Sometimes we might
seem to dream
about what might just
cause a scream.
Pointless dreams
of when and where
might be found
without a prayer.
Let your dreams to
live and breathe
as a fragrance
you believe.
Then let those times
thrive inside
when some troubled
times abide.
Yet don’t let those
pointless dreams
become troubles
rushing streams.
Yes some pointless
dreams of time
can make larger
Hells design.

Seasonal Echoes

Now as the seasons
come shining through
days are concluding
another times view.
Seasonal echoes
of now unto then
display the pages
that times do begin.
Seasonal changes
now bring forth a stage
written with sometimes
the snowflakes of age.
Wintertime’s doorway
opens real wide
letting in Christmas
with snowflakes inside.
Seasonal echoes
of times long before
now are found knocking
upon today’s door.

Soon Will Be

Soon what’s ventured
will imprint
things to do
from where you went.
Soon will be
a better sight
found from moments
wrong and right.
It’s the lessons
that might phase
leaving saddened
future days.
Yet those lessons
can be seen
leading to a
better dream.
Soon will be
a choice to choose
what to win
or what to lose.
Let God help you
choose today
as you kneel down
then to pray.

Beyond Christmas

Often so many
will just move along
and forget Christmastime
when it is gone.
Leaving their blessings
just sitting so sad
on beyond Christmas
of all that they had.
Look for the moments
that Christmas bestows
and let them live on
as not just your woes.
See how that Jesus Christ
came forth for you
so to give blessings
of Christmastime true.
So beyond Christmas
let not every sight
lose all the feelings
of Christmas delight.

Counting Time

Certain minutes
may be hurried
with the minutes
that we worried.
Counting time
from dusk to dawn
leaves so many
moving on.
Finding fragments
in the days
that might seem to
be a haze.
Counting time
might just conclude
that you’re in
a worried mood.
Let your worries
be replaced
counting time
that’s better faced.
Find a smile
through all your sight
and then find
some sleep at night.

Many Might Find

The doors of time
that we expose
might be found
with bitter woes.
Many might find
the days ahead
filled with all
that’s done and said.
Let the past to
rest in place
and then seek a
different face.
Many might find
your yesterday
but in time
it’ll fade away.
Let your tomorrows
be better found
standing with Jesus
on solid ground.

Haiku
for Sept 2, 2012

Tomorrows journey
begins one step at a time
starting with today.

Tree leaves of winter
will fall loosely to the ground
after falls colors.

The windows of now
need to be cleaned day to day,
so keep a clear view.

Paving your lifestyle
can be a rough road to ride
if it’s full of rocks.

Simplicity’s found
when you deal with what that’s true
and not live a lie.

Morning is displayed
as breezes blowing briskly
with the new sunlight.

When watching people
we may not see who they are.
The outer shell lies.

Phases of winter
come as glistening snowflakes
and cold winds that blow.

Painting a picture
does not always need some paint.
Sometimes just a thought.

Times we’ve encountered
bring us many memories
we can rekindle.

When looking outside
look for the hidden pictures
that time hides away.

Times we remember
can become those smiles we need
when times are not good.

Needles in haystacks
are many nitpicking ways
that many will be.

Today’s flowers bloom
while awaiting wintertime
to cover with snow.

Chances of today
have their own sense of value.
Some better to not.

A forest of trees
may prevent you from seeing
the one that is true.

Find some solitude
in the days of your worries
and find peace in prayer.

Listen to heartbeats
as they beat their many beats.
We are all unique.

Let today’s shadows
to be the best they can be
within your footsteps.

Cages might harness
what many are afraid of,
but fear is still there.

When lies are exposed
they leave ones with a bad taste
of who that you are.

The blades of the fan
seem to whirl about thusly
bringing me a breeze.
