ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

OK, so here I am once again writing all of my poems
and haiku the same day as the journal LOL. I guess
it’s my new way hehehe. 🙂 I may go back to writing
the poems and all again on Friday or Saturday one
day, but for now, this will work hehehe. So anyway,
how have ya been? We’ve been enjoying some much
cooler days and nights. Today’s high was supposed to
be 59F but right now it’s 60F, but that ain’t to bad 🙂
I reckon it’ll be getting cool again tonight. It’s great
snuggling weather. The sun is shining bright and there
is a little bit of a breeze blowing. Benny just got done
eating and is now lying in his little doggie bed in the
floor right beside me. We found out that one of the
reasons he would always try to dump his food in the
floor to eat it, was because he’s got claustrophobia
and doesn’t like sticking his head in a bowl to eat, so
we started putting his food in a big aluminum pan 🙂
He eats all his food now. He is so silly, but we love
him. Well onto another topic. I got the new cooling
fan I ordered in the mail Thursday, but they sent me
the wrong one, so I’ve gotta send it back for a refund.
The mechanic that is going to do the work found me
one for 25 dollars less, so he said as soon as he gets
it, he’ll give me a call to come up so he can install it.
Until then, I’ve gotta fill the radiator every time we
head to Houlton so that we can make it there and to
without the motor over heating. Thank God it’s not
as warm as it is way down south of us or we would
not be able to make it to the grocery store hehehe.
We’ll survive! Judy and I have started back playing
our Big Fish hidden object games. Yes, we’re still
playing with our Farm Town farms on Facebook :),
but we do them real late at night. Ain’t we exciting!
Yeppers, we do it all hehehehe. We are though
planning on making a trip down south to Cutler
Maine sometime later this month or early October
to take some pictures of fall colors. Judy’s oldest
daughter Mandy is getting legally married on the
6th of October. Just 4 days after Mine and Judy’s
anniversary. Mandy and Tom have been together
for 14 years and in my book they are very married,
but they decided to get married and all. They’re
good kids. OK, so they ain’t kids no more hehehe.
October 2 will be our 11 year anniversary. Who’d
of ever thunk it hehehe! She’s put up with me with
all of my weird ways and still loves me hehehehehe.
We haven’t decided what we’re going to do for
our anniversary yet though. We’ve still got time
to think 🙂 God has taken real good care of us
and I’m sure He will continue. Judy and I can see
the footprints of Jesus as He walks with us in our
daily lives. God has blessed us greatly. Our little
Benny was a wonderful blessing. He has filled
that spot in our lives that was empty. Let God
come into your life and fill you with joy. Of course
you’ll have struggles, but with Jesus, you will
make it. Now I think it’s about time for me to be
heading back through all that I’ve written here
to see if I can find a good word or phrase that
I can use for the title for today’s brand new poem.
So it’s away I go to that place of my recollection
that I like to call, RECOLLECT VILLE. I think
I may have found a good title. Now let’s see what
I can do with it hehehe… Bear with me 🙂

A Wonderful Blessing

There’s life in an echo
of days long ago
a wonderful blessing
that God did bestow.
A wonderful moment
where blessings reside
found in a heartbeat
of love deep inside.
A wonderful blessing
lives in every day
found in the minutes
that may not display.
Often our blessings
are hidden from view
awaiting the right time
for me and you.
Yet all the blessings
from our time to time
can be the echoes
of yesterdays mind.

OK so there ya go! I hope that made at least a little
bit of sense to ya. Just as I finished the poem I felt a
certain little pooch licking my heel hehehe. I hurt my
heel the other day and I guess he’s trying to make it
better 🙂 He’s back in his little doggie bed now. Yep,
he’s our little boy 🙂 Judy’s behind me browsing the
internet. There isn’t much that goes on around here.
Hehehehe we can’t wait for next Friday to get here.
Wipeout is back on for another season. We love
to watch that game show. Also we love to watch
American Ninja amongst tons of other programs
that include Ghost Hunters, Ghost Adventures etc.
Ok before I try to wind this up, a friend of mine
called me the other day asking me to ask all of
you to pray for her. She’s having troubles with
addiction to meds as well as many other problems.
Please put in a prayer for her. Her name is Sara.
Ok, so with that said, I guess it’s time for me to
be searching for that old off switch that just loves
to play hide and seek, but not before I wish you
a most wonderful God filled week. Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too. Now to find that
off switch. Found it hiding behind the salt shaker
that never made it back in the kitchen hehehehe.
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

P.S. Oh yea hehehe one of the poems is
sort of Christmassy and another is just a
little silly poem about Buttered Toast LOL.
ENJOY 🙂

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehe 🙂

So Many Storms

Found in a viewpoint
many might find
scenes then remembered
moments of time.
So many storms
might find surely so
only the moments
filled full of woe.
Yet many storms
are needed to be
giving the lessons
for many to see.
So many storms
can be just a phase
while growing up
in our yesterdays.
Often the storms
of yesterdays time
are of so many
to change our design.

Winter’s Beginnings

Time marches on
with decades to feel
scenes we remember
time can’t conceal.
Winter’s beginnings
comes into sight
found in the weather
of day and night.
Scenes are arranging
times to and fro
then with the winter
the coming of snow.
Winter’s beginnings
come in so cold
as we remember
stories we’ve told.
Thinking of stages
each day has shown
winter’s beginnings
of which we’ve known.

Now A Blessing

Troubles come
with steps we take
some with echoes
that we make.
Many blessings
will begin
as remembered
now and then.
Points of heartache
then and there
now a blessing
will repair.
Love from Jesus
found and held
will be answers
then compelled.
Now a blessing
can be found
as a lesson
to astound.

Closed Minds

Without choices
yet to choose
we don’t pick
to win or lose.
With closed minds
of history
we will never
be set free.
Not accepting
what that’s true
will just show
a bitter hue.
If denying
is your way
then you’ll never
be OK.
Let the truthful
live and breath
as you find
how to believe.

A Writing Pen

Words may flourish
onto lines
that remind us
of some times.
A writing pen
of words desires
might just show
some troubled fires.
All of the words
of now and then
might be exposed
by a writing pen.
The happy times
of which we’ve done
a writing pen
might show not fun.
The truth of words
remembered scenes
might be nightmares
not just dreams.
Let the pen write
words to find
truth within
a better time.
Scenes as changes
in our views
as we dawn
some better shoes.

Today’s a porthole
to tonight
with its wonders
in my sight.
It’s images
of pages turned
bring to me
what’s now discerned.
The images
of birds and bees
and the sight of
lakes and seas
bring to me
a wondrous phase
found within
some better days.
Today’s beginnings
leave a taste
that we need not
ever waste.
The images
that now exposes
could be that of
fragrant roses.
There’s an image
sent from God
now awaiting
your applaud.
Let not images
be just sad
pouting over
all you’ve had.
Find the goodness
of today
in the images
on display.

So Many Hearts

When Christmas begins
it seems to display
all that’s remembered
on some other day.
So many hearts
find emptiness there
as they’re just saying
that life isn’t fair.
Sure there are problems
daily to find,
but there are also
blessings divine.
So many hearts
let life pass them by
as they continue on
until they die.
Look for the blessings
that Christmas imparts
and then share it
with so many hearts.

Buttered Toast

Breakfast in morning
and also at night
sweet buttered toast is
such a delight.
Maybe with jelly
or maybe just plain
times butter toast
is time and again.
It is so simple
so often to make
and it is hardly
no time to take.
Sweet buttered toast
so quickly to do
fills up my tummy
until it goes through.
Then when it’s over
I may make some more
because buttered toast
I surely adore.

Yesterdays Dream

Today is today
and yesterday’s gone
as all the wheels
of life move along.
Yesterdays dream
might not be found
now and today
when time goes around.
Left over wishes
of yesterdays views
might be the changes
seen in the news.
Time will continue
just moving along
as we will see then
another dawn.
Things will just maybe
rush as a stream
flowing as needed
yesterdays dream.

Haiku
for Sept 16, 2012

Sunshine will begin
as the night fades from our view
and dawn is beheld.

Placing a heartache
where hope is needing to be
will lose your chances.

Yesterdays baggage
needs not to continue on.
Let Jesus change you.

Windows of today
show many flowers growing
without aroma.

Moving in circles
guarantees you to return
with the same mistakes.

When pushing up hill
life might seem too burdening,
but down hill will come.

Learning our lessons
might come at a real high price
if we don’t listen.

Numerous meadows
exist in our memories
of times long ago.

Clinging to problems
and not seeking the answers
can destroy your mind.

Summer’s dispersing
leaving only a few signs
of it’s aftermath.

Simplistic journeys
begin as just a few thoughts
within our own sight.

Death is not the end
but the beginning of life
without our bodies.

Weakness is a stage
that will envelop many
with the ups and downs.

Making a shadow
needs not for any thinking,
but just a moment.

Wintertime ready
means you have prepared for it,
but not completely.

Various people
find themselves always alone
while amongst many.

Mid morning shadows
leave their trails upon the day
that soon dissipate.

Angers emotions
come in many containers.
Sometimes dynamite.

Plans for tomorrow
might be disrupted by things
out of our control.

Ignoring someone
might hurt you worse in the end,
so learn to forgive.

The leaves will soon fall
as summertime steps aside
allowing autumn.

Lingering heartbeats
might cause you to pause today
and lose track of time.
