ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

So it’s another week gone by as I sit once again
in this folding chair to write what goes on it this
neck of the woods 🙂 and yes I said folding chair.
My computer chair broke a few weeks ago and
with all of the things that have gone wrong lately
we’ve not been able to afford to buy me another
chair LOL, so here I sit until maybe Christmas.
Hehehe life goes on. Well it’s onto another topic
that is better. Judy and I went to her daughters
wedding yesterday (Saturday). Tom and Mandy
have been together for over 14 years and now they
are married. The wedding was blissful. Judy and
I had a great time. I was the photographer so I
took a few videos of the wedding along with some
pictures and as we moved to the reception, I took
ton and tons more pictures and videos. There was
a lot of dancing and being silly hehehe. Yes Judy
and I danced a number of times 🙂 Our grandson
Christian used Judy’s camera to try to take a few
of Judy and I dancing, but many of them came out
blurry, but we’re happy with them none the less 🙂
It started freaking raining almost immediately after
the wedding so we got totally drenched while we
took what Judy cooked to the reception building.
Hehehe we looked like drowned rats, but it was
all good. We had a blast. Both mine and Judy’s
feet and backs were killing us later. Judy had
to take off her highheels and slip into some much
more comfortable shoes after dancing a while :).
When we got home we spent hours watching and
listening to the videos and looking at all of the
pictures. We started going through them and
picking out the ones to keep and ones to delete.
Also we must of watched the videos over and
over tons of times. Judy loved the video of her
and her sisters as well as her daughters dancing
to a rambunctious version of the Cotton Eye Joe.
Benny was so excited for us to finally get home
after being away for 7 hours that he couldn’t
even bark. He just screamed and squeaked as
he jumped all over us. We left him in his cage
with food and water and some chew toys and
treats to keep him company. Darn it hehehe
he spilled his water. He was wet LOL, but he
was happy mom and dad were home. When
we went to bed he made sure he was sleeping
with us. I went to the bathroom only to come
out and see him sitting on the edge of the bed
with his little puppy smile saying I’m ready to
snuggle hehehehe. He spent most of the night
snuggled up to my legs. I would try to move
and he would just lay there. If I moved too
much then he just scooted a little on my legs.
Although I think he finally got ready to get
in his own bed as he hopped off of the bed
and walked over to it and laid down. I looked
over at him and he just looked at me and then
laid down his head to sleep with a smile and a
breath of contentment. I know, this might
be boring as all get out to you hehehe, but
it’s our lives. Judy and I took us a fall drive
down south Wednesday and got a few good
pictures. I of course took a lot of pictures as
she drove as always LOL. Also I got a lot of
good pictures here in our front yard of the
fall colors. I just now stuck my camera out
the door to get a few pictures and Benny
wanted to go outside. I took his picture
as well LOL. So, the Pearce’s Place has
been a busy one this passed week. Yeppers
it’s been one thing after another, but yet
good things 🙂 I wrote Tom and Mandy
a little wedding poem titled Wedding Vows
and made it into a picture and framed it
and we gave it to them at the reception.
God has blessed me with the gift of poetry
and I try to use to the best of my abilities
to help others and give a smile. He has
also given you a gift. It might not be one
that stands out, but it is one that would
be great to share with others. All of our
gifts may vary, but none is less than the
other. They’re all important in God’s eyes
and needed to be used. Let God show
you your gift and teach you how to use
it. Don’t let your ego to get the best of
you thinking yours is any more greater than
anyone else’s. Now that I have gone and
done my rambling as usual hehehe I guess
it’s time for me to revisit that place of my
recollections through all that I’ve written
here to see if I can find a good word or
phrase that might work well for the title
for today’s brand new poem. So it’s away
I go to that place that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE. I think I may of
stumbled upon a good title. Now let’s see
if I can write a decent poem using it 🙂
Here goes……..maybe nothing LOL.

7 Hours

Seventy times seven
many might find
as just a minute
or moment in time.
7 hours seen
in a little ones eyes
might display days
of a perfect surprise.
Time is accounted
as our bible says
7 minutes 7 hours
or so many days.
Then as forgiveness
is seventy times seven
your own 7 hours
might be found in Heaven.
Jesus died for us
and now He lives on
7 hours 7 minutes
7 centuries sown.
He lives forever
and forgives us the same
7 hours 7 minutes
with forever His name.

Ok, so did that make any sense to ya? I hope that
it did. Often I have no clue if what I begin with is
actually going to make any sense at all hehehehehe.
I just went and looked outside the front door to see
if Benny was ready to come in and I couldn’t see
him, so I hollered hey Benny and he came running
as fast as his legs would move him. He was ready
to come back inside LOL. He’s playing on our bed
now with one of his chew toys. I take that back,
he just threw my pillow off of the bed LOL. Silly
boy. Well, he ain’t hurting anything 🙂 Now he’s
barking for me to come play with him hehehehe.
I’ll be in there in a bit Benny 🙂 I’ll try and tune
him out for the moment. So I guess I need to be
telling you what I tell you every week and that is
I wrote some more poems and haiku. I wrote
10 more poems with 2 of them being Christmassy.
Also I might include the poem that I wrote for
Tom and Mandy. Yes of course I wrote 22 more
haiku for all of the many haiku lovers out there.
Benny ran in here a minute ago wanting us to
play with him. He ran up to Judy and played
keep away. Judy said what do ya want and I
said he wants ya to go in there and play with
him. So guess what? They’re in the other room
now playing hehehe. He’s such a good little boy.
Judy came in here just now and said Benny
wanted to go back outside. So, guess where
he is now? Hehehe yeppers, he’s our little
boy. Now I believe it’s time once again for
me to be searching for that confounded off
switch, but not before I wish you a most
joyful and God filled week. Remember, Jesus
loves you and we do too. Now to find that
off switch. I think I can see it poking its
head out from behind my soda can hehehe.
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems and haiku
10+1 and 22 hehehehehehehehehe

This is the poem I wrote for
Tom and Mandy McGraw
Congratulations to
my stepdaughter and son in law.

Wedding Vows

The passing years
that two have found
led them to
some common ground.
Two together
in passing years
found themselves
as love endears.
Their wedding vows
of this great day
shall never ever
go away.
Loving passion
time has seen
the passing years
found from a dream.
Now these dreamers
found a place
this great day
in God’s Own grace.

To Tom and Mandy
McGraw

This Will Pass

Lives found worried
with bitter pills
turn to mounds
that time fulfills.
This will pass
as time moves on
dusk to dusk
and dawn to dawn.
Troubles essence
might return
with some lessons
yet to learn.
This will pass
as fleeting sights
as remembered
days and nights.
Time might flourish
views one day
as this will pass
and be OK.

Windows So Dusty

Looking for Jesus
when views are misled
windows so dusty
might seem full of dread.
Jesus is there now
just waiting for you
windows so dusty
might need looking through.
You might of lost your
vision one day
when you let someone
to turn you away.
Clean up those windows
that dust has acquired
and then let Jesus
be vision transpired.
See how He loves you
no matter your sin
and let Him help you
to better begin.

Christmas Prelude

Decembers beginnings
brings forth a scene
that many think of
as only a dream.
The Christmas prelude
of seasonal cheer
comes forth with blessings
that many adhere.
I remember mornings
of Christmastime joy
back when I was
just a little boy.
The Christmas prelude
brought to this child
that by comparison
made others mild.
The smell of Christmas
and wonderful sights
made me seek Santa
and all his delights.

Painted Pictures

Times October
finds a place
living as a
seasons face.
Fall comes quickly
with its scenes
painted pictures
living dreams.
Leaves all falling
one by one
landing where the
times begun.
Painted pictures
come to view
some as seen
a reddish hue.
Picture postcards
then are found
on the trees
and on the ground.

Mornings Glimmer

Certain times come
as sunrise does simmer
found as a porthole
within mornings glimmer.
Shadows of nighttime
then fall away
as mornings glimmer
brings a new day.
Pages of stories
written and heard
are sometimes found as
the wings of a bird.
Chirps in the distance
come as a glance
with mornings glimmer
as times song and dance.
Fragments of sunshine
display many scenes
as that of flavors
of passionate greens.
Leaves all a swaying
within mornings breeze
give way for shadows
from high in the trees.
Sounds from an echo
of times long ago
is mornings glimmer
of life to and fro.

Forever Christmas

When time moves along
with seasons then done
forever Christmas
is always to come.
Living inside me
as days come to pass
forever Christmas
is always to last.
Time might display
a much different view,
but deep down within me
my Christmas is true.
Found as a minute,
an hour or day
forever Christmas
lives on beyond May.
Then as the months move
with minutes to find
forever Christmas
lives deep in my mind.

Heaven is Waiting

When my times over
with no more to choose
Heaven is waiting
with nothing to lose.
All of my loved ones
that went before me
I’ll find in Heaven
so happy to see.
My pains will end then
with shimmering love
as I’m embodied
anew up above.
Heaven is waiting
for my time to come
as I see truly
Lord Jesus God’s Son.
There’ll be no sadness
or timeless debating
for I’ll be hole then,
because Heaven is waiting.

Suggested Thoughts

Things that we’re thinking
might really be not.
They might be something
of suggested thought.
Things that we’ve heard
from a moment of time
might just be someone’s
suggested design.
Don’t let suggestions
to lead you astray.
Let better thinking
to guide you today.
Suggested thoughts
from TV’s and more
might just mislead you
to think you adore.
Use some good judgment
and see through the lie,
before you let someone
to cause you to buy.

Winter’s Serenade

The stage is set
for time to come
the serenade
of winters drums.
Rekindled snowflakes
falling free
the winters serenade
is soon to see.
Seasonal pages
turning with speed
giving us stories
of which we can read.
White snow that billows
landing in place
painting the ground
as a seasonal face.
Windows of winter
are snow billows laid
chilling as blessings
of winter’s serenade.

Answers We’ve Found

So many questions
to what we don’t know
answers we’ve found
might unsurely flow.
Often ones answers
are just but a guess
that lead us surely
into a deep mess.
Questionable thinking
to answers you’ve found
could become problems
as times go around.
Let not your hurry
to find answers true
if you’ve made sure
they’re better to do.
Answers we’ve found
might be just a haze
with someone guessing
just seeking a praise.

Haiku
for Oct 7, 2012

Timelessly passion
comes often unpredicted
filled with surprises.

Somebody smiling
can be a good or bad thing
that enters the room.

Pictures of flowers
might display really pretty,
but they have no smell.

Within a blizzard
a person might walk blindly
in wrong directions.

Life is perception
of how you might perceive it
with each day that comes.

Looking through doorways
you might see something wrongly
that was just a thing.

The passing of days
brings some new days to follow
that might be better.

Living in shadows
leaves yourself misdirected
for they are not you.

Insects go daily
in their predetermined paths
that time has portrayed.

Onlooking trouble
could find you as a stalker
just trying to see.

When within a storm
you might see a lot of rain,
but rainbows will come.

Sometimes closed curtains
only seek to hide the sunshine
and not just secrets.

Far beyond a glance
there might be a better view
that needs attention.

Not allowing someone
to be who they’re meant to be
might prevent their growth.

Words in a story
often paint a few pictures
of truth or fiction.

Sometimes a lemon
will become something better
as time moves along.

Plowing a garden
leaves a gardener sleepy,
but with happy thoughts.

Raindrops of mercy
fall as seconds of blessings
to help us make it.

When you are in love
your eyes might be blind of truth
walking into storms.

Repeating moments
brings chance for reoccurrence
of the good and bad.

The joy of marriage
brings together two as one
with future to see.

Waiting for trouble
might make your mind to wrongly
see what that’s coming.
