ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

I know this is a day late. I’ve had the flu for the
passed few days and Judy got it shortly after me.
We’ve been staying in bed quite a bit only to get
up to get something to eat or other things hehe.
Benny and Milo are doing well. They could tell
we were sick and they came to consol us. They’re
good boys 🙂 It’s been rather cold the passed few
days. It snowed a bit Sunday, but not too much.
Right now at 10 AM it’s 2F degrees and sunny.
We’ve gotta don sunshades to look outside. It
looks like we may have to purchase some dog
sunshades for Milo and maybe even a cap like
Benny’s. Although, Benny doesn’t like to wear
the hat too much, but the shades are OK. He
looks sharp in them. Yet for now, I think they
are OK. They’re pretty smart. I’m feeling a
little better today. I managed to get my poems
written yesterday evening a bit at a time LOL.
Although I didn’t write all the haiku until early
this morning. I fixed Judy and I some waffles
and sausage for breakfast. EGGO waffles that
is hehehe. Yeppers, since we have both not
been feeling too great, we haven’t done our
FarmTown farms at Facebook. We might try
to catch up either this evening or tomorrow 🙂
Judy’s gotten back into her poetry writing and
is now putting pictures with them. I love her
poetry. We met in a poetry egroup back in
April of 2001. I became her so called tutor 🙂
and we learned more about each other as
time went by. She had ceased writing for a
great while, but she’s back at it thank God.
Maybe one day I will share some of her words
with you, but not unless she says it’s OK for
me to. It’s amazing how poetry connected
two hearts from over 2000 miles away and
made them into one. God’s work is beyond
our comprehension. I had never lived out of
the state of Texas until I met her. Of course
she moved to Texas with me in November
of 2001 and we lived there till the very end
of November of 2007 and we moved way up
here the first of December. The very day
we got here, Judy had a heart attack which
almost ended our journey, but God pulled
her through. That year was the worst snow
storm on record. The winter of 2007-2008
we got almost 20 feet of snow and in 2008-
2009 we had the coldest hehehe. The temps
got down to 50 and 60 below zero for many
weeks. Our poor little car wouldn’t even
click much less start hehehe. Since then I
bought the highest amp battery I could get
for it. We’ve battled the elements together
from the heat of Texas to the cold of Maine.
Hehehehe we’re tough cookies. Ok so Judy
doesn’t do cold weather very well and I’m
usually the one that has to dig out the car.
That’s OK. It’s good exercise, although
it plays heck with my fingers that in days
of old got frostbitten badly due to my own
stupidity when I was younger hehehehehe.
It’s a beautiful sight outside with the white
snow painting the ground. Yet while the
sun is shining, ya can’t really enjoy it due
to snow blindness hehehe. Gotta look at it
through sunshades. LOL Judy had her
sunshades on when she was looking out the
window trying to find out if Benny and
Milo were ready to come back in hehehe.
Milo was ready, but Benny wasn’t. Soon
I went back to see if he was ready and he
came up the steps halfway. I said I’m not
gonna stand here with the door opened.
I’m counting to 5 and if you’re not in the
house by 5, I’m shutting the door. He
came in the house then LOL! So that’s
life at the Pearce’s Place. Pretty boring
huh hehehe! We’re thankful that God
has kept His Mighty Hands on us and
protected us. So many times, we have
found ourselves in need and God has been
there with His Mighty Hands to pull us
through. Let God into your life today and
see the miracles begin. He does what He
knows we are unable to do and He gives
us what we are needing. Often we may
not see His directions and what He has
planned, but trust me, He is in control.
Life and death as well as sickness and
health are things we all must face being
we are human, but this is just a moment.
Heaven holds an eternity of peace and
happiness that none can compare. Now,
I believe I have rambled enough hehehe
and therefore it’s time for me to begin
my journey back through all that I have
written here to see if I can find a good
word or phrase that might work well for
the title for today’s brand new poem.
So it’s away I must go to that place of my
recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE. I believe I may
have found a good title, but we shall see
huh hehehe. Here goes…………………

His Mighty Hands

Your journeys might be saddened,
but rest assured in time
your pathways through tomorrow
can be found so fine.
Time might display problems,
no one understands,
but they will get better
in His Mighty Hands.
God can change the moments
to much better scenes
when in fact our judgment
only turns and leans.
Let God help your lifestyle
to become better true
while His Mighty Hands
do what all that they do.
Surely through your journey
you will find a smile
as His Mighty hands
will guide you all the while.
So don’t let your sorrow
engulf all that you are.
Let His Mighty hands
to be your shining star.

I hope you enjoyed my rambling. I’m sure many
of you have not heard how Judy and I met, so I
figured I would tell you in a short story hehehehe.
We have our share of problems and get miffed
at one another time to time hehehe, but we let
the moment move on. Forgiveness is the key to
true happiness. If you never learn to forgive not
only yourself, then you can never be truly happy.
God forgives us unending through His Son Jesus.
We should also follow suit. It doesn’t mean to
be stupid and let people hurt us again and again,
but to forgive and let it go and move on. Don’t
let it all become baggage that weighs you down.
So I reckon before I get in full rambling mode
again hehehe I better start telling ya what I tell
ya every week and that is I wrote some more
poems and haiku. Yeppers, I wrote 10 more
poems and 22 more haiku for all of my haiku
lovers out there. I hope at least a few of them
speak to you with peace. Now, it’s about time
for me to begin my search for that confounded
off switch, but not before I wish you a most
spectacular week of blessings. Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too. Now to find
that off switch. There ya are ya sneaky little
critter hehehe. Hiding behind the boys eye
drops won’t save ya. It’s a skinny bottle hehe.
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Windy Emotions

Windy emotions
come into play
now as the night sky
replaces day.
Scenes such as snowflakes
blowing with ease
from all around us
roadways and trees.
Wintertime’s format
gives and it takes
as it makes blankets
on grass with snowflakes.
Each scene is fitted
with its moments view
showered with glimmers
of snow thereunto.
Windy emotions
shared by design
are daily paintings
there time to time.

Pearce’s Pond

Waters of time
are found day to day
within the value
a wonderful way.
Found in the ripples
are scenes far and wide
found as a doorway
to what that’s inside.
In Pearce’s Pond
are waters that flow
as that of blessings then
found to and fro.
Beyond what that’s seen
in a timeless fashion
there is true love
that’s filled with passion.
Scenes surrounded
from dusk unto dawn
are as the ripples in
Pearce’s Pond.

Today’s Excursions

While waking up
my thoughts come alive
thinking of things
to help us survive
Today with our choices
fragile to break
today’s excursions
might be mistake.
So with the minutes
that hours provide
it’s best to do them
with Jesus inside.
Today’s excursions
we might find despair
if we forget to
take Jesus in prayer.
Let not the moments
that now has to shine
become the ventures
without God Divine.

Winter’s Snow

Times of winter
come in shades
as of snowflakes
that one wades.
Feet are seen as
trudging through
winters snow of
thereunto.
Morning glistens
with the sight
winter’s snow
that came at night.
Scenes are found as
sights to see
such as white snow
giving free.
So when I look
through my window
I see sights of
winter’s snow.

Worry

When you’re with worry
and cannot find true
any peace living there
found within you,
let not the worrying
continue and grow.
Seek for the bible
for what you’re to know.
Found in the bible
are answers to prayer
within the wisdom
that none can compare.
When you’re with worry
you might find so true
lessons from pages
with words so brand new.
So if your worry
is bringing you down,
let Jesus help you to
lighten that frown.

Believing in Prayer

Often our problems
that now does expose
lead us directions
of cons and pros.
Believing in prayer
can surely make thrive
chances for better
to be now alive.
It’s with the many
that never do pray
that brings much sadness
found in each day.
Don’t let the moments
to pass you right by.
Seek for the blessings
from Adonai.
Find all the blessings
of love and care
that come by surely
believing in prayer.

Windy Days

Wind finds an answer
within its display
as it blows on and on
in its own way.
It seeks direction
throughout its own time
sought only from the
seasons design.
Windy days bring us
times that unfold
wintertime’s ventures
found very cold.
Scenes such as snowflakes
fall one by one
landing as wind blows,
mounds then begun.
Wintertime’s minutes
have their own phase
found as the pages
of windy days.
Turning so briskly
so timeless we find
windy days painting
their own design.

Snow Driven

Snow driven days
bring so much to see
such as the pictures
of a snow covered tree.
Displays unfolding
as snow finds a place
to land so softly
upon the Earths face.
Snow driven miles
of footprints so fine
lead ones in pathways
of their own design.
Then beyond footsteps
there are many sights
lit up with beauty
in days and the nights.
Snow driven days
are found escapades
as that of flavors
of times different grades.
Some upon hillsides
and others on trees
snow driven days
often look just like seas.
Waves of white blessings
that lie on the ground
to be snow driven
the sweetest that’s found.

Time Might Be

When this moment
seems askew
it might just be
me and you.
Time might be
a different sight
that’s displayed
in different light.
Through the minutes
now might seem
as it might be
just a dream.
Time might be
a simple view
that is living
within you.
Look more closely
time might be
just a moments
sight to see.
Don’t let then
be all you view,
for time might be
a bit askew.

Tinted Windows

Mornings sunshine
comes inside
with its glisten
time can’t hide.
Tinted windows
only dim
what the morning
lets within.
Shadows grow with
times sunshine
tinted windows
show so fine.
Scenes are blossomed
on the walls
that each window
then recalls.
Tinted windows
only fade
what the sunshine
surely made.

Haiku
for Jan 7, 2013

Today might surprise you
in all that it can give you,
if you will have faith.

Winter pours snowflakes
as artwork from up above
and creates pictures.

When in confusion
let someone else be the guide
that might know better.

Above and below
are the shadows of ourselves
which many perceive.

Distant memories
can become fuel for today
if we allow them.

The cold of winter
brings chills to my very fiber
while watching snow fall.

Peering out windows
could become a bad habit
that hinders movement.

When feeling sickly
let yourself have time to heal.
Don’t overdo it.

Often when time strikes
it leaves unanswered questions
that might not matter.

Love is a pattern
that ones find in unison
and often alone.

Morbidity thrives
when seeing only sadness
through the joy of life.

Deep within heartbeats
lives the presence of hopeful
found in a moment.

Finding your footing
might need a little patience
for the right moment.

We all make mistakes,
but it’s learning through them all
that helps us to grow.

We’re links to a chain
connected as mere heartbeats
that might be broken.

Finding a flower
underneath the deepest snow
might not be easy.

Believe in yourself
and let God show you the truth
of who you’re to be.

A mere glancing blow
can be the thing you’re needing
to change your mindset.

Glancing at someone
will not tell you who they are.
Look beneath the skin.

Too often chances
are wasted stupidity
on shallow choices.

Morning brings hopeful
so use it as best you can,
for the day is short.

Lessons come as pages
turned within the light of day
from the stories told.
