ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

Well, I have returned once again with my rambling and
once again on the confounded computer hehehehehe.
It’s getting better, but I still haven’t found a way to get
any stationery to work in this Windows Live Email, but
I haven’t given up. I’ll find a way, but until then I will be
panning a few pictures horizontally and put them at the
end of the journal. I might even pan a few and put them
at the very end of the poetry beneath the links. So in any
sense, those of you that are receiving my emails in my
stationery format, will see them. All others, will remain
the same as usual other than a different font hehehehe.
I figured I’d give the Arial font a go. I had been using the
Times New Roman. Oh well, as long as ya can read it.
So, what’s been going on in your part of the world?
It snowed some more snow. Wednesday evening it all
began again and we got around 16 inches or so. Yep,
the car got buried once again LOL. Benny and Milo
had some trouble getting down the steps to go potty
with the steps being totally covered with snow and
it being deeper than their little legs LOL. I ended up
going outside and shoveling them a little path so they
could go potty where our landlord had plowed. They
were happy about that . So what else has gone on
around here? Hmmm good question! Well Friday my
friend Steve Broschat came by and we jammed for
about 30 minutes or so. Judy and I are making plans
for driving down to Bangor one day soon and me and
him make some more music videos. This Friday we
were just goofing around with a few songs we had
never done LOL. I did two videos of us, but I could
of done one more if I had thought ahead of time LOL.
Oh well, we had a blast. Judy and Steve’s friend
enjoyed the music. His friend brought her little 3 year
old boy and he had fun playing with all of the doggy
toys and also playing with Benny. Milo isn’t as
playful as Benny. He’s an old dude like me LOL.
It’s been getting warmer up here very gradually,
but gradual is better than not at all. It’s 41 F degrees
right now at 5:00 PM. It was supposed to only get
up to 39 F . Tonight’s supposed to get down to
28 F degrees. Not bad for up here. Last year it was
pretty much the same. I will never forget how Benny
reacted to the snow. He absolutely loved to play in
it hehehe pretty much the same as now LOL. We
can never get him to come in immediately. He’ll
stay out playing in it until he gets too cold and has
snow and ice hanging off of his hair LOL. I usually
spend a long while brushing all of the snow and
ice off of him . Right now both Benny and Milo
are lying in their doggie beds beside Judy and
I. They have doggie beds in here as well as in our
bedroom. It’s a bit hazy outside right now, but no
sign of snow clouds, at least not at this moment.
I had to search the house to find a keyboard I could
use on this PC. It was not compatible with my old
keyboard. I did find one I bought years ago that
this confounded Windows 8 recognized LOL and
so I am back to typing without having to always look
to locate the keys. Being blind in sorts, I have 3
pair of glasses I have to use. One for when I need
to read and be able to see in the distance, One for
when Judy and I watch TV in bed and One for my
PC which is only good at the distance from the
monitor to me. Not good for the keyboard, being
it’s at a different distance. I only have one eye
that I can use and it tires quickly due to my health
issues, so I must rely quite often on my memory.
LOL, fun, fun, fun! Yeppers, it’s a miracle that
I’m able to do what I do. I do try to enjoy life as
much as I can. I still try to get outside time to
time and play with the boys, but it’s limited to
my energy . Benny runs circles around me .
Milo not so much hehehe! He’s an old dog like
me . Well, there’s not much else to report
from up here at the Pearce’s Place. Although
we have taken a break from Farm Town until
I can get Judy’s PC running faster. Right now
it is way too slow, being it only has 448 MB RAM.
I might try and add some memory to it this week,
if her other memory chips are compatible and
my eyesight holds out. We shall see. In the
mean time, we still watch all of our favorite TV
programs and play with the boys. Speaking
of the boys, they need to be fed, so either I’ve
gotta hurry and finish my rambling or Judy’s
gonna have to feed em. It looks like all of their
water containers are getting low also hehehehe.
Milo still drinks like a horse. LOL he sticks his
whole face into the water bowl and ends up
with water dripping from his neck hehehehe.
He’s a slight silly. Judy and I know that the
moment he finishes drinking, he’ll be heard
scratching at the door wanting to go outside
and get rid of all of that water . This house
has been blessed by God. We’ve found the
joy of these two little boys/dogs as they give
us their love unending. Have you found the
joy of God’s love? Can you see the blessings
that God has given you? If not, then take a
good look around. Look passed your wanting’s
and see what needs have been met. Often we
are blinded by what we think that God should
do and not seeing what He has done that He
knew was best. The past holds answers to
our prayers. We’ve prayed for things and not
realized that often God will allow you to have
those things just to give you a lesson in life.
He doesn’t give you bad things. He just allows
you have the experiences that He believes are
necessary to make you stronger and show
you the path to Him. We all have struggles as
we walk in our daily lives. Some might seem
worse than others, but at the time each one
seemed the worst. Find the joy of a sunrise
decorated with a few clouds. See the smiles
that others have and let them infect you as
you also learn to smile. Learn to find laughter
in the silly things that you’ve done in the past.
Don’t just live in regret. Ok with that said, I
reckon it’s time for me to be taking my little
venture back through all that I’ve written here
to see if I can find a good word or phrase that
might work well for the title for today’s brand
new poem. So, it’s away I go to that place of
my recollection that I like to call RECOLLECT
VILLE. I believe I may have stumbled upon
a decent title, but the proof is in the pudding
so they say . Here goes!

Look Passed

Timeless excursions
that didn’t last
are sometimes what we
now just look passed.
Don’t let your journeys
become just viewed
that of a timeframe
you misconstrued.
Look passed the sadness
and find the joy
found unexpected
that life did deploy.
Let not your worries
of yesterdays gain
become a porthole
that’s found just insane.
Look passed your problems
and see what you’ve learned
that now today is
clearly discerned.
Find all the blessings
in God’s Own contrast
as all your misery’s
learned to look passed.

So, how was that? LOL I know, it wasn’t that great.
Hey, what do ya expect . I’m only human hehehe
or so some say. Of course many will argue the point
of whether I’m human or not LOL. I know, I look like
a dog . Ok so what else do I need to tell you. Oh
yea, I just got off the phone with my mom just a bit
ago and she said DD is seeming to be doing a little
better. Keep him in your prayers. My moms PC is
acting up. I told her to call up our good friends Ron
and Mandy at Century Computer and they’ll fix it.
I wish I were nearer and I might be of better help to
my mom, but that’s life. So, now I reckon it’s time
for me to be telling ya what I tell ya every week and
that is, I wrote some more poems and haiku. Yep,
10 more poems with 2 of them being Christmassy
poems. I also once again wrote 22 haiku for all of
the haiku lovers out there. With that said, I guess
it’s time for me to begin my search for that elusive
off switch, but not before I wish you a wonderful
God filled week. Remember, Jesus loves you
and we do too. Now with my diminished eyesight
I need to find that confounded off switch. My eyes
have almost gone blind and can barely see my
monitor much less my keyboard or anything else,
so that off switch has a good chance of hiding
from me this week LOL. Yet, he is a noisy dude
trying to imitate a dog barking. LOL good try.
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehe

Having Struggles

When our values
become shallow
we need search for
what that’s hallow.
Not just letting
greed to win
having struggles
seeking sin.
When your window’s
pain applied
let Lord Jesus
come inside
Don’t let minutes
steal your life
having struggles
filled with strife.
Moments thresholds
might be seen
as a nightmare,
not a dream.
Having struggles
can repair
if you’ll take time
for a prayer.

Climbing Mountains

Hills and valleys
many climb
with their daily
time to time.
Climbing mountains
many see
sights and sounds
they don’t agree.
Often journeys
we are found
are with echoes
sight and sound.
Just reminding
all we’ve done
time to time
and one by one.
Climbing mountains
can be bright
if we’ll seek for
what that’s right.
Not allowing
wants and needs
to become
our troubled seeds.
Let your journeys
daily fountains
be as needed
climbing mountains.
Seek for what God
wants for you
in the things
you say and do.

Snow Filled Dreams

With the mornings
own arrival
snowflakes fall
and seek survival.
Winters windows
through and through
show what surely
they can do.
Snow filled dreams
with winds that blow
decorating
to and fro.
Scenes are portrayed
as a dream
with ice on
a rushing stream.
Snow filled dreams
that fall and lay
decorate
my day to day.
Glimmers of all
that I see
snow filled dreams.
are given free.
Now these snowflakes
soon will melt
while I thank God
as I’m knelt.
Seeing truly
all that’s done
snow filled dreams
from God’s own Son.

As We Pray

Times believing
day to day
will be better
as we pray.
Although troubles
will find you,
God will surely
help you through.
As we pray for
things to be
we might find a
troubled sea.
Yet those troubles
that you found,
might just lead
to solid ground.
Minutes prosper
what might seem
as a timeframe
that you scream.
Yet those minutes
that ticked on
might of strengthened
brand new dawn.
So if right now
seems too bad
just remember
all you’ve had.
We’ve survived
another day
filled with blessings
as we pray.

I Now Recall

The timeframes through winter,
spring, summer and fall
remind me of beauty
which I now recall.
Scenes all a blossom
so differently too
creating most surely
a wonderful view.
I now recall all
that I’ve surely seen
such as an ice covered
fast running stream.
I recall flowers
that springtime portrayed
with all the blossoms
so Heavenly made.
I now remember
the colors of fall
scented as flavors
that I now recall.
Even with summertime
I can be found
out with my camera
just looking around.

I Think Of Christmas

While December shadows
are found as a thought
I think of Christmas
a little a lot.
While all those snowflakes
might soon melt away
I think of Christmas
each wonderful day.
All the decorations
from here to afar
are as the journeys
in our little car.
I think of Christmas
when even in June
and often listen to
a Christmassy tune.
I see the blessings
of Christmastimes gaze
while I think of Christmas
upon future days.
I often see some
lights still aglow
hanging in March then
covered with snow.
Some even lit up
and shining so bright
reminding of Christmastime
each day and night.

Labels On People

So many judge us
by what they see
and do not chance
to know you and me.
Often ones labels
are just from the past
as but a moment
of a shadowy cast.
Links to the minutes
of which we have done
many will see as
times only one.
Labels on people
can become pain
while they but only
drive ones insane.
Let all the labels
to melt from your sight
seeking but only
what that is right.

A Forest of Snow

Out through our windows
a forest of snow
glistens on tree limbs
trying to grow.
Snowflakes are falling
landing in place
upon the glimmers
of mornings embrace.
A forest of snow
is seen from afar
as a reflection of
a near snowy star.
Even the meadows
of white that I see
glimmer of snowflakes
given for free.
Each little snowflake
that times now bestow
displays most surely
as a forest of snow.

A Winter Wonderland

While many see only
a time not so grand
others like me see
a winter wonderland.
Times filled with blessings
that comes after fall
as many snowflakes
land one and all.
A winter wonderland
comes surely in sight
creating the thoughts of
Christmas delight.
Then as the minutes
and days pass along,
I find I’m singing
a Christmassy song.
Hearts filled with joy
and stood hand in hand
Christmastime starts
as a winter wonderland.

The Fragrance of Spring

Now as the snow is
melting away
the fragrance of spring
is seeking display.
Yet many snowflakes
still fall down and land
preventing the springtime
coming so grand.
I seek the fragrance
of spring to arrive
bringing the flowers
and trees all alive.
I miss the chirping
of sweet birds that sing
along with the scent of
the fragrance of spring.
Yes of course surely
I truly love snow,
but I am ready
for springtime’s bestow.

Haiku
for Mar 23, 2013

I seem as chew toys
through the eyes of a puppy
and it does get old.

When time moves along
it often leaves memories
hidden in seconds.

Tomorrows journey
starts with one step at a time
beginning today.

A ship out at sea
rides waves as a bull rider
while tossing about.

Remembering moments
often will bring them alive
within photographs.

Some silly people
are only acting that way
to make others smile.

Looking at thresholds
might not fully show the truth
of which that’s inside.

Finding a flower
that’s been hidden all winter
might need some patience.

Often our true love
can be found when not sought for,
while God shows you true.

Blessings can be found
in the tiniest of things
and become the best.

When troubles blossom
the answers are in Jesus
as He knows what’s best.

When a puppy smiles
it brings alive a heartbeat
found in the owner.

Meaningful people
come and go from time to time
that we may not see.

Borderline trying
leaves many upon the fence
not giving their all.

Gradient turnstiles
will often weather away
as time goes it course.

The seeds of flowers
fall upon many places
not near their birth place.

A shallow thinker
will only see ones clothing
and not who they are.

Bringing alive time
that has since passed long ago
could cause you problems.

Trivial problems
can turn into hurricanes
if you allow them.

Morning brings sunshine
often hidden behind clouds
that may have some rain.

Leading a blind man
needs knowledge where you’re going
and how you can help.

Believing in love
and knowing how you’re to love
can bring you true love.
