ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

I hope your passed week has been a good one and the
weekend hasn’t turned out too awful bad for ya either.
It’s been fairly nice up here with temperatures that
range from lower to upper 70’s.  It’s 79 degrees right
now,  but tomorrows high is supposed to be 71 F and
that sounds great to me.  I’m guessing that summer is
almost over with up this ways.  It looks like we might
get some rain this evening and tomorrow.  The wind
has sure picked up.  Benny is barking at the house
behind us that has a back door swaying in the breeze.
That has to be it,  being there’s nobody out there :).
I just heard the door slam open.  I think I might of got
it through Benny’s head this time that the only thing
he’s hearing is that,  at the moment of course LOL.
Yep,  he’s our little watchdog.  It’s just me and the
boys again today.  They’ve kind of gotten used to it.
This time Benny just stood with me at the front door
and watched Judy back out of the driveway.  Milo
never got up.  He’s was lying on the floor in here
just snoring.  He’s gotten up since then and gone
out to go potty a couple of times.  I fixed Judy and
I some EGGO’s and sausage for breakfast and
made a couple of extra sausages for the boys,  but
it seems that Benny has put on his Garfield face
as he does from time to time and didn’t want his
sausages.  I just a few moments ago fixed them
an egg and they shared it,  of course surely not in
the same bowl/dog pan LOL.  Cases when there
has been only one,  sort of like the water  bowl in
here,  Benny will wait till Milo is finished and then
get a drink,  but if Benny is eating,  Milo better
back off,  because Benny protects his food hehehe.
He’ll give a Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr as a warning which
usually gets the point across to Milo,  but what’s
funny is Benny doesn’t care if we pet him or mess
with him while he’s eating.  He just don’t want his
big bubba to get it hehehe.  I just stepped out for
a moment and had to hold tight to our screen door.
That wind is gusting at about 25 miles per hour :).
Milo’s been following me everywhere I go.  He’s
my four legged shadow.  Benny does it too,  but
at the moment he’s resting in his/our recliner :).
We hardly need our fans on today with that big
breeze blowing through the house.  The temp
has dropped a degree since I began writing 🙂
It’s now 78 F degrees.  The nights have been
a little chilly lately,  but I don’t mind.  I prefer
it to be chilly rather than be hot and humid,  so
it works for me.  The house always seems to
get quieter when Judy is gone hehehe.  I think
it might be due to Milo not barking at her for
treats.  He thinks she’s the treat dispenser or
something LOL.  Benny just lets Milo do all of
the barking and then reaps the reward,  that is
of course if Milo’s barking got a treat and not a
SHUT UP or use your indoor voice and hush
cause ya ain’t gonna get a treat right now :).
Yep,  this be one wacky family.  I often  will
do some silly things when I get really bored.
Ya never know what’s up my sleeve or pants
legs or whatever hehehe.  But yes I do get
bored from time to time,  being that there’s
not much to do around here other than take
pictures,  watch TV and write.  Oh yea,  surely
not to forget play with our boys and irritate
Judy :).  It would be nice if we had some of our
old neighbors back.  Brian and me used to go
fishing often and he would fly his RC planes
while I video taped them in flight.  Carol and
her kids used to come over from time to time
and I always enjoyed seeing them.  June 27 of
2012 we had a sort of flood in our yard and the
kids brought over their dads canoe and rowed
back and forth across the water hehehe.  I’ve
got tons of pictures of that day as well as a few
good videos.  Shortly before they moved they
brought and left a cute little statuette on our
steps that read “I think you’re nice”.  I sure
do miss them.  Well,  I met our new neighbors
last Sunday shortly after I finished writing my
article.  I decided to haul my conga drums out
for a breath of air and do a recording in front
of our house.  They heard me playing and came
to watch and listen.  They told me to not worry
about bothering them.  Hehehe he used to play
the congas a bit also.  Their names are Mark
and Shirlene.   They are nice people.  Shirlene
took off her straw hat and stuck in my head and
stuck it on my head saying it’s yours now LOL.
Maybe,  hopefully they’ll hang around for a bit.
Here lately our neighbors have changed more
times than I wash my hair LOL.  I see some
dark clouds blowing in.  Yep,  it’s gonna rain :).
After I finish with writing,  I think I’m gonna
wash a load of clothes and then go outside and
uncover the boys swimming pool and dog house
while also uncovering our picnic table and drag
them all to the front of our house.  Of course
I’ll have to fill the kiddie pool with water to
prevent it from blowing away with the breeze.
If I don’t,  it will end up in Canada in no time.
I just took a break from writing and dug out
the pool.  doghouse and picnic table with chairs.
The pools filling as I write.  I put a cinder block
in the pool to keep it from blowing away before
it’s filled LOL.  So now it’s on with my rambling.
It’s dropped another degree since I said before.
Now it’s 77 F degrees hehehe.  Going down fast.
Benny decided to come in here with me and Milo.
He’s now lying in the floor beside his brother 🙂
of course Milo finally curled up in one of the
doggy beds hehehe.  Benny’s now following me
all around the place with his little tail wagging :).
Anyways,  I just went out and shut off the water
hose being I believe the rain will fill it the rest
of the way LOL.  I laid the cinder block on the
outside of the pool so if they wanna drink
they can just get on it and get one.  Of course
they’ll have to jump to get in and out of the
pool,  OK,  maybe just in due to the cinder
block on the outside LOL.  I did all this with
a long shirt on hoping the breeze didn’t get
a bit frisky and expose me hehehe.  Of course
I’m sure our neighbors have better things to
do rather than just wait for me to come outside
and watch me hehehe.  Judy said that she might
stop and get us something to eat on her way
home.  So,  we shall see.  I have the bath rags
and towels in the washer now waiting for them
to finish so I can put them in the dryer  and
put our clothes in the washer.  Fun times at
the Pearce’s Place hehehe.   I have dishes
needing washing too.  Sheesh,  it never ends!
Oh well,  it kills the boredom hehehe.  I think
I’m gonna go ahead and let my beard grow
out a little at a time,  but not all the way out
until it’s a bit closer to winter LOL.  I showed
our new neighbors a picture of me in my Santa
suit and they said,  Hey,  we live next door to
Santa Claus :).  It’s cooled down a little more
now.  It’s 75 F degrees now LOL.  I know I
don’t thank God enough for all of the blessings
He gives me,  so let me stop right here to say
a bit of thanks to Him.  Thank You God for
putting up with all my silliness and never giving
up on me.  Thank You for giving us Your Son
to give forgiveness for all of our sins and yes I
do sin way too much,  but I’m trying.  God has
showed me His mercy on many different venues
of my life.  Not one of us is sinless,  but if we
allow God’s Son in hearts and lives then we can
be washed of our sins in Heaven.  Yes,  we will
still have to answer to them here on Earth in
our fleshly bodies,  but when we die,  we have
Jesus to wipe our slate clean.  Please,  if you
haven’t found a relationship with God,  I implore
to find one today.  He’s only a prayer away.
Now,  I guess it’s time for me to stop rambling
and take a little looksee back through all that
I’ve written here to see if I can find a good
word or phrase that I can use for today’s new
poem that I have not used already LOL.  So,
away I go to that little place that I always like
to call RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I found
a good title,  but now I’ve gotta try and write
something using it LOL.  Here goes nothing.

Next Door

When words find ways
to vibrate through walls
you might just find
next door full of squalls.
Sometimes a persons
reflection in time
finds them next door
as an awkward design.
For what one’s hearing
might not shed a light
on the ones next door
of what’s really right.
We all at one seasons
moment displayed
find we’re reacting
to times lemonade.
For what you’re hearing
might just surely be
the sounds of a program
that’s on their TV.

Ok,  so how was that hehehe?  I hope a few of you
understood it :).  How many times have you come in
a conversation and thought they were talking about
one thing and it was nowhere near what you thought?
I know it’s happened to me at least a dozen times if
not a hundred/thousand hehehe.  I just went to check
to see if it was raining yet and it was a good thing I did.
It was raining in the house,  so I shut the windows on
the south side of the house.  It’s not raining in on the
North side LOL.  Ya can’t even tell that it’s raining
unless you get up and look outside hehehe.  Benny
was still outside from when I let Milo out to go potty
and he was ready to come in.  Benny don’t like rain.
Loves snow,  hates rain LOL.  The temperature has
dropped quite a bit now.  It’s 68 F degrees now,  but
I think the rain helped out a bit hehehe.   The boys
are now lying in the floor to the left of me and happy.
Benny’s a tad wet,  but he’ll dry quickly.  I have
a prayer request.  My sister in law Barbara is in the
fear of the cancer returning being they found another
lump.  Please keep her in your prayers and also a
real good friend of mine in Oregon.  It’s cancer
and they have had to take him off chemo.  He said
he’s losing weight fast.  Please take Jimmy with you
in your prayers.  So,  I guess it’s time for me to be
telling you what I tell you every week and that is,
I wrote some more poetry and haiku.  Yeppers,
I wrote 10 more poems with once again 2 of them
being Christmas poems.  Also there’s one to Judy
about my silliness hehehe.  I also wrote 22 more
haiku for all of my haiku lovers out there.  I hope
you find one or two of either or both that you like.
Now I believe it’s time for me to begin my search
for that not so freaken elusive off switch,  but not
before I wish you a most wonderful weekend and
blessings filled week.  Remember,  Jesus loves
you and we do too.  Now,  where’s that silly off
switch trying to hide this week????  OH WOW,
you almost managed to hide from me this week :).
Hiding in my printer paper box was a good spot,
but ya gotta learn to not always be peeking out to
see if I see.  Peekaboo,  I see you hehehehehe.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

P.S.  It’s 64 F degrees now LOL.

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Life and Lies

So many people
live life without truth
often learned sometime
come from their youth.
It might of come from
some place in time
where they were portrayed as
less than a dime.
Yet many people will
just lie away
when the truth’s better
to much surely say.
Often the liars club
is but a game
played by so many
just going insane.
Times might be displaying
fields of demise
found on the journey of
their life and lies.
Learn to move forwards
with truth better found
while letting Jesus be
your solid ground.
Yet don’t go crazy
just blurting what’s seen,
for sometimes truthful
can be really mean.

Looks of Disaster

When in a storm cloud
look for the good
that you might find as
misunderstood.
Sometimes a rainbow
is not clearly seen,
for there are nightmares
with no clear seen dream.
The looks of disaster
are often found blind
as many judge it
as a land mine.
Yet some disasters
are actually real good
just but a little bit
misunderstood.
Looks of disaster
will often find peace
when they are learned from
times we should cease.

Looking for Love

Some mornings find ones
searching to see
their own connection
to loves history.
Looking for love
in the places they go
often gives only a
life full of woe.
Let Jesus help you
to find your true love
even if it turns out
not who you’d think of.
Often perception
is a bit out of whack
looking for love on
the wrong railroad track.
Don’t always judge ones
by how that they look,
for what’s on inside
might be then mistook.

Winters Christmas

In my mind now
I remember
Winters Christmas
in December.
Seasons jolly
laughter too
in my mind now
I can view.
Winters Christmas
comes in clear
when I dream of
it sincere.
Seasons shadows
seem to dance
in my mind with
winters glance.
Christmas music
songs of joy
comes as blessings
I enjoy.
Winters Christmas
snowy white
I now dream of
day and night.

I Believe I Believe

When there’s not a glimmer
of sunshine to shine
I believe I believe
some hope I will find.
When sadness is shadowed
with all I think of
I believe I believe
there’s help from above.
When doorways are sliding
that I’ve entered through
I believe I believe
God will still be my glue.
When my own perception
is filled with despair
I believe I believe
God will help me through prayer.
When all my efforts
are turmoil’s of sight
I believe I believe
God will make it alright.

Today and Tomorrow

When we are seeing
but only yesterday
today and tomorrow
might not be OK.
It’s with the lessons
from yesterdays seen
today and tomorrow
can make a cuisine.
Yet if we focus
on too much of past
today and tomorrow
might have bad forecast.
Don’t spend all your time
in should’ve done lane
just wishing different
for now to attain.
Today and tomorrow
are right now in sight,
so let all your yesterdays
just teach what’s right.
Showing you timeframes
of moments abode
that maybe went right
or found to explode.

I Might Be Weird

My love my honey
I might be weird
with all the actions
that sometimes appear.
I might be silly
and do goofy things,
but I still love you
for you are my queen.
I might be weird
in the things that I do,
but I’ll always be here
to watch over you.
Some days might display
some bad points in time,
but I’ll always love you
with each day combined.
I might be weird honey,
but deep in my heart
I’ll always see you
as God’s work of art.

Summers Dreams

Sights transfixing
summers dreams
are as sometimes
rushing streams.
Then much deeper
those dreams go
and find settings
Christmas snow.
Summers dreams then
come in view
with me wishing
scenes so true.
Winters paintings
oh so white
in my dreams now
day and night.
Summers dreams that
now display
are of Christmas
winters way.
Summers dreams with
great desire
are of Christmas
passions fire.
Blazing heartbeats
to and fro
summers dreams now
in the snow.

Wishing Stones

In a smooth round
river rock
is a wishful
to unlock.
Wishing stones
to toss and say
I wish I might
I wish I may.
Some might toss them
in a pond
wishing for a
better dawn.
Yet some people
toss them in
wishing for
the same again.
Wishing stones
of waters way
many toss in
just to play.
Not found wishing
large or small,
yet they find
they had a ball.
Wishing stones
still wait to show
answers to
a wishful throw.

Within The Walls

When there’s silence
in the room
within the walls
might sing a tune.
Words of memoirs
found within
in the silence
now again.
Maybe glimmers
of the past
within the walls
a shadows cast.
Some say if
these walls could talk
they would maybe
squeak and squawk.
About the things
they heard ones say
from a distant
other day.
Within the walls
a story’s told
with a picture
to unfold.
So let stories
that they hear
be as blessings
so sincere.
Within the walls then
ones will find
peace and love
from time to time.

Haiku
for July 26,  2014

Shadows only thrive
when there is light to give life
no matter how much.

Looks of a morning
will change as time moves forwards
leaving memories.

Deciding your path
needs knowledge of your footsteps
and maybe others.

A good flower blooms
when it’s been taken care of
and not left to die.

Pointless perception
finds ways into arguments
that need left alone.

Looking for hopeful
might find you eluding the best
due to appearance.

Without a footstep
after the true decision
there is no progress.

Leaning on others
can become a daily thing
that causes breakup.

Someone that’s smiling
might not be happy at all
and hiding a frown.

With someone watching
it might make you real nervous
to do what’s easy.

So many answers
come with even more questions
that have no answers.

Pools of teardrops
might form inside of ones heart
that is never seen.

Sometimes a story
is not at all what you thought,
due to the cover.

As clouds float by
there’s pictures being displayed
that many won’t see.

Without a heartbeat
our fleshly bodies will die,
but our spirit lives.

Glancing at someone,
you might get wrong impressions,
so give them a chance.

Life in the real world
is found overprotected
by many parents.

Many confuse love
with just a mere addiction
of someone to hold.

Today is a time
that yesterday forecasted
maybe not so well.

When spreading gossip
take a look at your own life
and see if it’s good.

Wandering eyeballs
see only part of the sights,
for they don’t hold fast.

As the seasons change
they also leave memories
found in the views.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

How have you been?  We’ve been doing fairly well.  The
weather hasn’t been too awful bad.  As a matter of fact it’s
been pretty nice this passed week.  It’s only gotten a tad
warm.  Today’s high is supposed to be around 79 F degrees
and that’s what it is at this moment (1:30 PM).  Judy has
gone over her sisters house again today to take care of her
mother while her sister goes to work.  It’s just once a week
so me and the boys have some guy time LOL.  OK so they
are not human hehehe.  Some people swear up and down
that I’m not human LOL.  No matter,  me and the boys have
gotten used to this weekly scenario.  I stop writing time to
time and play with the boys.  Though Benny is right now
lying in his crate hoping that his mom (Judy) comes home
soon cause he misses her.  Milo is just following me all
over the place and as always wanting to lie down right at
my feet removing my leg room LOL.  I just called Benny
and he came running.  Hehehe they looked like they could
use a treat so I gave them each two strips of Bark’n Bacon.
They’re happy now :).  Now on with my journal.  We’ve
definitely got some new neighbors,  but I have yet to of
met them.  I’ll give them time to get moved in.  In the
mean time,  Benny is enjoying watching them as he has
always.  He likes to just sit and watch.  There’s not much
that goes on around this place hehehe.  I was thinking
about doing a drumming video today,  but not sure if my
arms and shoulders can handle it today.  They’ve been
hurting a bit more than normal here lately the same as
my legs and the rest of my body LOL.  It sure would be
nice to be able to sleep for more than 15 minutes at a
time hehehe.  I barely fall asleep and then have to get
up and make a mad dash to the restroom.  LOL that’s
of course if in fact I am able to actually fall asleep,  but
most times I just get so exhausted from lack of sleep
that I pass out and am awoken quickly with the need to
visit my office (ya know what I mean LOL).   Oh well
it won’t last forever,  because I most surely will be rid
of this worn out body one day soon,  thank God :).  Yet,
until then,  I’ll just do as I have been doing for decades
and catnap.  My darned chair keeps lowering on me :(.
I guess the cylinder is worn out.  It makes it real hard
to type.  Maybe one day soon I will be able to get me
a new computer chair.  Judy is needing one too,  but
she’s been needing it longer than me,  but then,  she
doesn’t do half of the writing that I do.  None the less
we will both one day soon get some new chairs when
we can afford them.  It’s not the end of the world.  We
will survive.  I’ve lived with much less in my past and
survived.  Ok so now Milo is lying down in the floor
right behind me.  I think Benny has gone back to the
living room where he does his watchdog thing hehehe.
He’s our little doorbell.  Of course often he’s just in
there barking at either the neighbors or a sound he
heard hehehe.  He’ll bark and if he doesn’t see me
or Judy coming to check it out,  he’ll head in here
and try to get us to follow him hehehe.  Kind of like
a Peekapoo Lassie LOL.  Then I’ll look and if there
is nothing to be barking about,  I’ll open the door and
show him that there is nothing to be barking about.
Then he hushes,  until he hears something else LOL.
I think I liked it better when he didn’t bark at all :),
but he was just a pup when we got him.  This passed
July 16th,  Benny turned 3 years old although he
still acts like a pup.  Milo will get in a playful mood
from time to time and chase Benny around the house,
but Milo is 9 years old and will be 10 on Halloween.
He ain’t no spring chicken ya know hehehehe,  but
there are times he likes to act like it.  Like when I’m
fixing to feed them,  he’ll jump almost a foot off of the
floor in excitement.  Dinner time is their favorite time
of day hehehe.  LOL,  any time is Milo’s favorite time
of day as long as it involves food.  I have to tell him
to go and lie down when he starts barking for a treat,
because it ain’t happening every time he wants one.
It’s mighty cloudy outside,  but we’re not expecting
any rain.  We might though get a sprinkle here and
there.  Milo has moved to the doorway and out from
under my feet where he sort of snuck to when I wasn’t
looking hehehe.  If I move my feet for just a second
he will often sneak up under my desk.  For some dumb
reason he likes to be right under foot LOL.  Oh well,
we still love him hehehe.  Now what else is there to
talk about?  Well,  I got a lot of great cloud pictures
this last week.  I love how the clouds are like artwork
always changing.  Yes I got some pictures of me and
the boys as well.  I finally managed to buy back my
1975 high school yearbook.  Mine got stolen back in
the early 80’s.  It’s great to be able to revisit my
graduation days and see some pictures that I had
not seen in decades.  There’s a picture of me playing
my trap drum set at the pep rally hehehe.  Yep,  no
beard hehehe.  Beards were against the dress code as
were many other things,  but a few things I managed
to sneak in,  like long hair or should I say sort of
long LOL.  There were a few of us rebels in school :).
I do wish I could do it again,  but do it right this time.
I screwed up many times just as many others did.  Our
life is to be remembered,  not be relived.  No matter
if you returned to that very same place,  it will never
be the same.  Times change and so do we.  Take the
memories with you,  good and bad.  Enjoy the good
ones and learn from the bad ones.  Don’t let time
to be forgotten,  for it’s with those moments that we
grow to be who we are and learn to improve.  I do
though wish I had listened more to my parents and
not have run amuck as I did,  but I can’t undo it,
so I’ve had to learn from it.  Some lessons are what
I try to teach others,  being I have already gone
through it and it’s done.  I’ve had to learn to laugh
at my mistakes and not let them become my daily
focal point.  Of course I still screw up on a day to
day turnstile.  LOL,  who doesn’t?  OK,  a better
question,  who will admit to it hehehe?  I’ve found
many people that want to act like they’ve never
made a mistake and most surely don’t want to
admit to making any mistakes behind closed doors.
LOL yep,  often the ego can cause ones to try to
hide their imperfections and make like they never
happened,  but God knows,  and in fact He knew
that we would always make mistakes,  because
that’s what gives us growth.  Sometimes mistakes
will shed light on a better avenue to travel than
we would of ever known if we had never made the
mistakes.  Like turning the wrong way on a road
showing you a better route that you never knew
was there.  In any sense,  learn from the mistakes
of yours and others and grow.  Don’t become a
stagnant pond that will not admit that there was
ever a ripple.  So I guess it’s come to that point
and time that I need to be ceasing my rambling
and taking a little looksee back through all that
I’ve written here to see if I can find a good word
or phrase that I can use for the title for today’s
brand new poem.  So,  it’s away I go to that little
place of my recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I may have found
a good title,  but now I’ve gotta make sure that I
haven’t already used it hehehe.  Nope,  so it’s a go.
Hope it comes out making at least a little sense :).

Never Be The Same

Found as our echoes
of time and agin
will never be the same
as the way it has been.
Scenes we remember
from so long ago
will never be the same
as then to and fro.
So many moments
that we’d like to change
cannot be repeated,
they’ll never be the same.
Changes in heartbeats
from young unto old
will never be the same
as our lifetimes unfold.
So when you’re thinking
of sometime insane
learn how to change it
to never be the same.
Learn from the lessons
to gather your wits
that never be the same
needs you to resist.

There ya go!  I hope that my rambling didn’t put ya to sleep
and the poem made some sense to you.  Of course,  if what
I write helps you sleep,  then I am happy for that as well LOL.
Some of my writing is sort of silly and I know it.  🙂 Even some
of my poems might be a bit silly,  but I write what comes into
my thoughts.  You might not agree with some of it,  but I don’t
really care one way or another.  It’s my beliefs and the way
that I think.  I’m not in this world to have everybody to agree
with me LOL,  nor am I going to agree with everybody by
that same notion.  God gave me my perceptions and ability
to share with whomever that wants to read it.  I hope you
have been enjoying my many episodes of rambling LOL.
I often enjoy reading back through what I’ve written to see
what I might of messed up hehehehe.  Yes I do also find
things that help me that I had forgotten that I wrote down.
That in essence was the reason I began writing my journal
in the first place hehehe.  I just happened to share it with
a few of my friends and they shared it with a few of their
friends and well,  from 1995 it came to what’s now called
Animal’s Greetings being Animal is a nick name that I’ve
had since the late 70’s LOL.  Gary, the bass player in my
band from way back then, took his son to see the Muppet
Movie when it first came out and then came to practice
the next day saying he saw a creature that reminded him
of me and it even made the same laughing sounds and
played the drums in the same crazy way that I did hehe.
My hair was even so long that it made him think of me 🙂
Yep,  it was Animal!  LOL and so it stuck and everyone
started calling me Animal.  I don’t mind it hehehe,  it’s
better than Kermit LOL.  Ok so now that I have done
gone and rambled a bit more,  I think I need to stop here
and tell you what I tell you almost every week and that is,
I wrote some more poems and haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more
poems with two of them once agin being Christmas poems.
One of them though is more like a children’s Christmas
story poem.  I also wrote once again 22 haiku for all of
my haiku lovers out there.  I hope you find at least one
or two of either or both that you like.  Now it’s time for
me to begin my search for that not so elusive off switch,
but not before I wish you a most wonderful weekend
and a blessings filled week.  Remember,  Jesus loves
you and we do too.  Now to find that confounded off
switch :).  Oh for Heavens sake,  are you even trying?
I can see you as plain as day hiding on the cap of my
eyedrops LOL.  Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

P.S.  The first poem is one that I wrote about Judy
and I reflecting on some great times from long ago
at Port Aransas Texas.

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

I Recall
(This is about Judy and I)

Minutes daydreams
spring to fall
are some moments
I recall.
Scenes transfixing
ocean waves
I recall
those distant days.
Summers sunshine
oh so bright
I recall
that scenic sight.
Rolling moments
footprints found
I recall
that wondrous sound.
Waves found crashing
on the shore
I recall
that time and more.
Hands held tightly
in the waves
you and I
those sunny days.
Minutes passing
now to find
I recall it
in my mind.
Our hearts gathered
for a sight
I recall
each day and night.
Then the moon comes
bright to see
I recall
just you and me.
Watching sunshine
fade away
I recall
that distant day.

Hidden Trails

Minutes passing
times details
might display some
hidden trails.
Scenes so quickly
passed us by
while our hurry
seemed to fly.
Hidden trails of
unknown days
might show futures
scenic gaze.
Sometimes as a
moments time
hidden trails
our own design.
Many footsteps
that we’ve taken
hidden trails
might then awaken.
Like a doorway
entered through
hidden trails
might show their view.
Found with footprints
others took
hidden trails
display their look.
Scenes as valleys
oceans too
hidden trails
will display true.
Timeless echoes
hidden trails
given chance
will show their selves.

Silent Storms

In the silence
you might hear
sounds of thunder
very near.
Yet some minutes
might not be
what you hear
or what you see.
Silent storms
inside ones heart
might be raging
off the chart.
For so many
hold it in
storms of anger
now and then.
Silent storms can
grow so large
that the anger
can take charge.
Don’t let silent
storms rage on.
Find some peace from
dusk to dawn
Let God give you
peace of mind
to ease the silent
storms of time.

Watching And Waiting

Searching for blessings
might lose you the sight
of what that God has
given just right.
Watching and waiting
for minutes to pass
could make the moments
seem out of contrast.
Let each days blessings
come as they will
as you continue
to try to fulfill.
Watching and waiting
can grow you impatient
not seeing truly
what’s then Heaven sent.
Just do your best now
as each season turns
and then let God to
fulfill your concerns.
He knows much better
of all that we need
so let Him give you
the best to succeed.
Often our vision
does not see the plan
while watching and waiting
for times and again.
Cease always watching
and waiting each day
and do your best now
with Jesus,  OK.

A Little Christmas

Summertime’s breath ways
are breathed with a smile
often with dreams of
a little Christmas while.
A moment of splendor
that lives in my heart
is a little Christmas
with white snowy art.
Scenes as a snowman
with a little carrot nose
and coal for the eyes
in a moment that’s froze.
A little Christmas art
that twinkles on the trees
as snow lands and plays
while blowing in the breeze.
Summertime’s sunshine
does not make this fade,
for it’s a little Christmas
that my mind has made.
A daydream of beauty
that exist now for me
is a little Christmas
of which I can see.

Beyond The Sky

While looking upwards
at clouds floating by
I have some thoughts found
beyond the sky.
Planets rotating
in their own timeframe
far beyond the sky
and an aero plane.
The dark of night displays
the stars in the sky
that might be planets
that rotate and fly.
Within their cosmos
of time faraway
our year might just be
just a moment of day.
Beyond the sky
is what that I seek
so far away
with telescope peek.
Some are just stars,
but so many we find
are planets like ours
in another point and time.
Thinking that we’re all
that Lord God has made
beyond the stars
shows all that to fade.
For He created planets
and maybe just a few
have someone on them
just like me and you.
Maybe a little different,
but yet they’re the same,
for we’re all different
with our looks and name.

Frosty’s Christmas

One time long ago
on a bright winters day
there was some snowfall
that wanted to play.
A magic hat that
was lost long ago
brought alive Frosty then
made out of snow.
He was a happy one
fluffy and white
that dreamed of Christmas
each day and each night.
For Frosty one time
as years had gone by
he remembered children
a Christmassy high.
He was excitedly
looking around
searching for children
in this little town.
Then he saw a little one
sat all alone
crying about Christmas
that he’s never known.
So Frosty walked up
and sat on the ground
and the little boy said
you’re big and round.
Frosty said I came alive
with this magic hat
and at the moment
don’t know where I’m at.
Then the little boy said
with a tiny smile
you’re sent from Santa
to be here a while.
Frosty then got up
and said to the boy
get up and join me
in a little Christmas joy.
They went off singing
and dancing with glee
while Frosty found out
why he was to be.
This little boy was left
so very alone
for he was brought up
with Christmas not known.
So Frosty taught him
the true joy to find
that is from Jesus
in true Christmastime.
He said that the season
can live all year round
inside your heart as
Lord Jesus is found.
Find now the blessings
as now comes to be.
The boy looked at Frosty
and said he will see.
The boy gave a wink
and went on his way
while Frosty went onwards
in search another day.
Looking for another
heart which to cheer
before he melts away
for another times year.

Finding Some Peace

When troubles find you
and seep in your heart
find you some peace in
a prayers work of art.
For finding peaceful
is a blessing away
found in a moments time
kneeled down to pray.
Often our struggles will
just bring us down,
but with Lord Jesus
you can lose that frown.
Finding some peaceful
might seem as too hard
when all you’re seeing
is Hell in your yard,
but look deep within you
and find breath of air
found in a moments time
through just a prayer.

Mornings Paradise

Dawns own arrival
brings tears to my eyes
with all the beauty of
mornings paradise.
Seasonal thresholds
so wonderfully staged
as morning comes with
each story well paged.
Written as turnstiles
of dawns early shine
mornings arrival
shows its point and time.
Paging as a journal
in a book with a seed
mornings paradise
gives a story to read.
Each page with wonder
and greatest surprise
is what that’s found in
mornings paradise.

Certain Times

Time for thunder,
time for rain,
time for lightning
strikes again.
Certain times are
found to be
what we sometimes
never see.
Time for winter,
on through fall,
time for seasons
to enthrall.
Certain times
we might be found
standing looking
all around.
Time for morning,
time for night,
time for each time
found in sight.
Certain times
we may not find,
because we’re looking
back in time.

Haiku
for July 19,  2014

Today gives chances
to make better tomorrows
beginning right now.

A persons answer
might not be an honest one,
but a better one.

Some clouds shapes defined
are often of the viewers
that only they see.

Counting the seconds
can make a day as a week,
so enjoy the time.

Tomorrows journey
might need some preparation
to avoid mistakes.

A new pair of eyes
can change up your perception
so look from both sides.

Beyond a birds nest
is a mother bird in watch
guarding her babies.

Life in the fast lane
will give you many problems
that could be lessened.

A summer shower
can give life to a flower,
but also drown it.

Morning comes dawning
with maybe some bright sunshine
or maybe some clouds.

Life’s a mystery
with the ins and outs of time
that might surprise us.

A disasters brink
might be found in a flower
that was just a weed.

Starting with footsteps
without watching your footing
might show some stumbles.

Ventures of a snail
are some long and patient ones
that often end short.

A turtles refuge
is within itself with faith
that none can enter.

Many flowers bloom
with just a little sunshine,
for they bloom at night.

Life in the rich world
might seem to be exciting,
but there are some jolts.

A kingdom of want
can come crashing down on you
with bricks of despair.

Lives filled with hatred
will only find bitterness
filling up their voids.

Negligent people
will lose track of what’s needed
and lose what they have.

With four pawed journeys
comes a pathway of hopeful
when they’re truly loved.

Our destinations
are written within heartbeats
found in our choices.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

How have you been?  Judy and I have been doing pretty well.
We went to a cook out Saturday at her sister Trudy’s house.
It was a beautiful day and we had a lot of good food to eat as
well as a lot of great togetherness.  There were tons of dogs
there LOL.  Benny and Milo were joined with quite a few more
dogs LOL.  It was hard to keep track of them all,  but I believe
there were 9 all together.  There was Benny and Milo of course
with their cousins Fenway,  Willow,  Cricket,  Dodge, Peanut,
Keony and Chillybean hehehe.  It was a dog day of summer :).
The kids spent most of their time in the pool.  Judy and I took
a lot of pictures.  I took a couple of videos of the kids in the pool
and of everyone there in a pan sort of way.  I had to come home
a little early so I could rest my eyes and then start on my poems
and haiku.  Milo came home with me being he was tired hehehe.
Milo was the oldest dog there.  At least 7 years older than all
of the other pooches hehehe.  Benny wanted to stay,  so he just
kept on playing with all of his cousins,  none which were of the
same breed as him or Milo hehehe.  He don’t care cause dogs
aren’t prejudice hehehe.  We had a lot of food left over so it
looks like we’ll be eating leftovers today :).  Of course I won’t
be able to eat much of the cake,  being I can’t handle to many.
sweets.  I never had much of a sweet tooth.  Hehehe and now
I haven’t got any teeth at all,  but I’ll maybe eat a piece or 2.
Milo just told me he needs to go outside,  so I’ll be back hehehe
in my best Terminator voice.  I’m back.  Milo is back too LOL.
He does his business and is ready to  come right back in,  but
Benny on the other hand,  followed Milo outside and is now
sitting on the front steps just looking around.  Benny likes to
go outside and romp around and watch people,  but Milo is
strictly an indoor dog.  The day we brought him home he ran
up the steps and in the house and he was happy while he made
his way around the living room vacuuming up all of the leftover
treats that Benny had left all strewn about hehehe.  Now he
goes in there time to time to see what Benny has left uneaten.
LOL Benny tried to hide his treats in the spare room,  but old
Milo wised up to that and now goes looking in there hehehehe.
It’s a high of 81 F degrees today and that’s what it is right now
according to my weather program.  It’s supposed to rain today
and on through Tuesday night.  Tomorrows temp is supposed
to be the same as today,  but the rest of the week is scheduled
for the mid to upper 70’s for the high.  Not too awful bad.  Judy
has gone over her sister Trudy’s house again today,  to take
care of her mom while her sister goes to work for her one day
a week.  So,  it’s just me and the boys again.  They’ve gotten
used to it.  LOL Milo just plops down in the floor next to me
and goes to sleep,  while Benny plays watch dog hehe.  Last
night I had to wake up Milo to let him know that mom and
Benny were home LOL.  Of course he didn’t actually get up
until Judy and Benny came in here 🙂  Then he wanted treats.
The wind has picked up a bit.  I just went to see if Benny was
ready to come inside,  but he’s still exploring.  He looked up
at me and gave me a little doggy smile and then continued his
little quest for who knows what LOL.  I don’t even think he
knows what he’s looking for hehehe.  It was getting a little
humid in here so I turned our portable AC on and put the
settings on Dehumidifier.  It’s already feeling much better
in here.  So,  what else is going on around this place?????
Well,   it looks like we may have a new neighbor.  They’re
moving in at this very moment.  I hope they’re decent and
hopefully sociable.  LOL it looks like they have a white
SUV as well :).  That should really confuse the boys LOL.
Benny is lying down at the side of our steps looking over
there and I can sense his anticipation,  but I think he can
tell that the car isn’t ours,  because he’s not raising a fit.
I guess the games will begin when the snow starts to fall.
White cars being hidden from view with the camouflage
of winter LOL.  It should be interesting hehehe to see if
our landlord can manage to see our cars and not plow into
them.  Hopefully the rear reflectors will help illuminate
them to prevent them from being pummeled.  I might put
out a few tall reflectors in the snow to help him to see it.
Believe it or not,  I am anxiously awaiting the first signs
of snow.  I do love snow,  but after a few months,  even it
gets old LOL.  Yet,  I don’t believe Benny ever gets tired
of it.  He simply adores snow.  We can barely get him to
come inside when there’s snow outside,  but when his little
paws get too cold,  he’s usually ready to come inside and
thaw hehehe.  The neighbors look like they’re heading out
for another load,  so Benny was ready to come inside for
a bit and guard from his recliner.  LOL I say his recliner
due to the fact he has taken it over.  It used to be mine :).
Our landlord is out there now with his tractor to do Heaven
knows what hehehe.  I think he just likes to drive his tractor
backhoe.  He was out there at the end of the driveway on
his tractor talking to the new tenants as they were trying
to leave for another load.  Now it’s sprinkling and Calvin
(our landlord) has headed back home hehehe and the new
tenants have gone on their way.  It does get a bit comedic
around here from time to time hehehe.  I hear the roar of
Calvin’s tractor again,  but he’s nowhere to be seen.  God
only knows LOL.  Milo keeps following me back and forth as
I go to see what’s going on outside hehehe.  He’s my little
shadow.  Benny is just lying on the recliner,  but now I hear
him barking at someone or something.  I’ll be back LOL.
It’s just the new neighbors again this time with a different
car.  I’m trying not to roll over Milos tail,  but he’s lying
down right under me and making it hard hehehe.  Our little
kennel 🙂 (Pearce’s Doghouse).  My nickname is Animal
ya know LOL.  Yep,  ya can see the bond’s we have for
each other in this house.  Judy and I completed our little
home with gifts from God that have 4 legs each.  They do
though get on our nerves from time to time,  but for the
most part,  they are good little boys and we love them
bunches.  I might have to make a mad dash to go and
shut windows in a bit.  It looks like it might start pouring
down any minute now.  It was just sprinkling a little bit
ago and not worth shutting the windows.  I just went and
closed the windows on the south side of the house,  being
that’s the direction the rain is coming from.  Ya can’t even
tell that it’s raining on the north side,  other than the fact
that you can see it coming down when looking outside LOL.
Benny’s still on the recliner hehehe.  He loves that chair.
If I sit in it,  I usually end up with both Benny and Milo
trying to hop up in my lap.  Benny first and then Milo LOL.
Thank you God for giving me the blessing of this home
and allowing me to experience life of a different venture from
the nightmares that I had been through.  I realize that You
were always with me allowing what I needed just as you are
today and every day.  Many times I may have thought that
You had forsaken me,  but I found out that You were with
me just letting me learn the lessons I needed in hopes
that I would wise up.  I have wised up Lord and I am very
thankful for Your love and guidance that You sent through
people that came into my life.  We all have our down times
in life and might even think that God has forsaken us,  but
it’s not Him that’s forsaken us,  but us that have forsaken
Him at times.  We all at one timeframe or another head
down our own pathways,  but God sends us help to get us on
the right path.  It’s up to us to use that help and change our
directions and grow.  Don’t let failure to engulf your heart.
Let the failure to bring lessons into light so that you can
become stronger.  If you fail and grow from it,  then you
haven’t really failed.  Now it’s time once again for me to
begin my little looksee back through all that I’ve written
here to see if I can find a good word or phrase that I can
use for the title for today’s brand new poem.  So it’s away
I go to my points of recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I found a fairly good title
a ways back in my writing hehehe.  Now let’s see if I can
write even a halfway decent poem using it hehehehehehe.
Here goes nothing,  🙂 which might truly be the case LOL.

We Can Barely

Sometimes daydreams
that we find
turn into a
big land mine.
We can barely
sometimes see
best of daydreams
you and me.
Often textures
of our thoughts
are what many
might of lost.
We can barely
see ones ways
when they hide them
in their gaze.
Don’t let people
lie to you
finding daydreams
not so true.
Look for truthful
in daydreams
and then make them
running streams.
We can barely
see tomorrow
so don’t live with
so much sorrow.
Do your best now
times so rarely
not just thinking
we can barely.
Lose the downsides
stormy weather
that might seem
to last forever.
For there’s hopeful
to attain
that God’s sent us
now again.
We can barely
see beyond
so find joy
in each new dawn.

Ok,  how was that?  LOL,  I know,  it wasn’t that good,  but
you try to find a new title to use when you’ve already used
well over 8000 hehehe.  Then try writing a poem using one
that might not seem to work so well as a title hehehehehehe.
Anyways,  I think it came out fairly well :).  No matter,  it is
done!  Well it has cooled down a bit since I began writing :).
It’s now 77 F degrees at 6:30 PM.  Milo is still lying down
in the floor right beneath me.  He did though move his tail,
so I’m not as worried about running it over as I was hehehe.
Judy should be home in a few hours.  Then we will eat dinner.
I might feed the boys before that though.  It’s determined
whether I finish this before she gets home or not.  I’ve still
gotta find pictures to pan together for my stationery and then
send this to my other computer to do it up on my Outlook
Express,  being Windows Live SUCKS in a big way LOL.
I hope they come up with a fix one day,  but until that day
arrives,  I’ll still be using my trusty Windows XP for my
journals :).  It still works as it always has,  GREAT,  but
being that I didn’t buy the new XP PC until I could afford
it,  all of my poems and journals are on this Windows 8
with Windows Live (HOTMAIL) which does not give me
an ability to transfer my emails back to Outlook Express.
My old PC with Windows XP literally died but I backed
up my poems and journals on my external and transferred
them to this piece of garbage and I had no clue at all
that Windows 8 with Windows Live would be so bad,  so
I had to start using Judy’s PC with XP to do my journals
and send them being Windows live won’t do what I need.
Oh well,  I’ll manage hehehe.  If that’s the worst of my
problems then I’m counting my blessings :).  Of course
we all have our share of difficulties and to the owner of
the problems,  they might seem much greater than others,
but remember,  there is always someone in worse shape
than you.  There is also always someone better than
you at doing something,  so just do your best.  We each
have our own personalities and abilities.  Gifts from God.
So now I guess before I begin rambling too much again,
I need to tell you what I tell you every week and that
is,  I wrote some more poems and haiku.  I wrote them
all yesterday,  this time as I usually do unlike what I
did last week LOL.   Anyways,  I wrote 10 more poems
with 1 of them being a Christmas poem and another
being sort of Christmassy in a seasonal sort of way :).
I also wrote 22 more haiku for all of my haiku lovers
out there.  I hope you find something that you like.
Now with that said,  I need to start searching for that
not so elusive off switch,  but not before I wish you a
most wonderful weekend or at least what’s left of it and
a blessings filled week.  Remember,  Jesus loves you
and we do too.  Now,  where’s that off switch hiding
at this week?  Ok now,  that’s just flat stupid.  Hiding
behind my razor knife that is the thinnest thing on my
desk LOL.  Did ya think I wouldn’t see you right there
in front of me?  WRONG hehehe!   Gotcha,  see ya
CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Lazy Days

Summers passions
bright sun rays
often finds some
lazy days.
Mornings doorways
entered through
brings lazy days
to me and you.
Maybe not so
for you and me,
and so many
would agree.
Yet there’s many
finding fame
with lazy days
that times attain.
We each need a
time to rest
a lazy day
to give you breath.
Lazy days
of now and then
often help us
to begin.
A breath of air
to help you flow
so you’re rested
where you go.

Looking Too Hard

As years roll loosely
some time might pass
while looking too hard
for shadows to cast.
Sometimes our efforts
are weighing us down
preventing good moments
to just come around.
Don’t let your hurries
to blind every view,
for sometimes wanting
might turn things askew.
Looking too hard can
blind you from good,
for sometimes inside
is not understood.
Often ones outside
will not show what’s real,
for what’s on inside
might have sex appeal.
So if you’re finding
you’re looking too hard,
step back and look at
the internal yard.
Take the time to look
beyond your own sight
and you might find then
what that is right.
Far beyond the flesh
of the person you see
might be the right person
God gave you and me.

Looks of Time

Seen through decades
moments too
looks of time might
seem askew.
Sometimes symptoms
of a change
might just seem
a little strange.
Often segments
that we see
were just changed
in you and me.
Minutes tick on
day by day
looks of time
form their display.
Sometimes dismal,
sometimes fine
date to date
our looks of time.

Pouring Down

Streams of minutes
waltz around
with some troubles
pouring down.
Many doorways
we’ve walked through
share confusions
every view.
Things we’ve dreamed of
day and night
come pouring down
with joy and fright.
Your perceptions
seen around
might be lesser
pouring down.
It just might be
blessings seen
thought a nightmare
found a dream.
Pouring down
those times you feared
might be lessons
time’s adhered.

Catching Wind

Laughing playing
here and there
time moves on
with non compare.
Younger times
of long ago
catching wind
was times I know.
In a car with
hands held out
catching wind
was then no doubt.
Lettings waves of
wind flow through
was the best thing
then to do.
Mom and dad would
watch and stare
while I’d  try to
catch some air.
Time’s moved on now

Family Ties

Truth of family’s
not just in blood
for many people
are just pure mud.
Not truly caring
about you and me
their family ties are
just history.
Find the connections
of family ties
and see the blessings
of much greater size.
Look past the blood
and see what is there
and learn the truth
of ones love and care.
Truly so many
see family ties
when they are built
on so many lies.
For I say family
is not just of blood,
for there is family
built with true love.

A Certain Time

A timeless blessing
that I remember
is from my childhood
found in December.
Christmastimes essence
flavored our home
when I was younger
in flesh and bone.
Sweet Christmas music
played on our radio
with a sweet mixture
of songs about snow.
A certain time that
blossomed so great
I now remember
that wonderful date.
Dreaming of Santa
and presents galore
that he would bring me
not from a store.
So many blessings
from that great design
are found so Christmassy
a certain time.

Mornings Remembered

December mornings
with snow on the ground
highlight the seasons
of time going around.
Mornings remembered
of glistening hues
are the reflections
that sunshine accrues.
Diligent snowflakes
fall from the sky
mornings remembered
found eye to eye.
Seasonal pictures
painted with white
mornings remembered
are quite a great sight.
Fluffy white snowflakes
landing in place
mornings remembered
the seasons embrace.
With every second of
timeframes I saw
mornings remembered
were filled with much awe.

Without A Thought

A cloud will float over
and leave not a trace
as we watch onwards
with skylines embrace.
Without a thought of
times sky romance
clouds might float by
with nary a glance.
Blue skies awaken
as clouds move away
leaving the pictures of
a bright sunny day.
Then as the night comes
clouds might be seen
without a thought of
a skies moments dream.
Painted with starlight
and hidden away
without a thought of
the last sight of day.
Yet the clouds fade away
to give us a view
stars that all twinkle
the way that they do.
Without a thought of
us down below
the stars start repeating
their own nightly show.
Then with the dawning
of a bright new day
we might find clouds
that are all blown away.

Blessings of Time

Often our blessings
are time driven days
giving us lessons
from so many greys.
The blessings of time
are many times found
when we cease looking
and searching around.
Sometimes our blessings
might seem as so small,
but we might find that
they’re bigger than all.
The future holds segues
of stories we read
sometimes as wanting’s
and sometimes as need.
God gives us what that
fills our design
within our moments of
blessings of time.

Haiku
for July 12,  2014

Some seconds will pass
bringing minutes into sight
for many to count.

Joined with a dewdrop
the morning glistens brightly
in sunshine’s delight.

A shadowy time
brings conclusions well alive
through our confusion.

A tree that’s cut down
leaves an imprint of itself
in the sands of time.

Some doorways open
to only show mysteries
that we must have faith.

A clowns painted smile
might hide a frown behind it
with tears falling down.

Some days a flower
and some days just a blossom
awaiting to bloom.

Beyond what we see
are our imaginations
that might become true.

God gives us heartbeats
to share with one another
no matter our gaze.

Our life is a book
filled up with many pages
that are confusion.

Counting your blessings
might find you some gratefulness
for times that are gone.

Seeing a tree sway
in an early morning breeze
can feel so serene.

Candy coated lives
can turn into our nightmares
if truth is hidden.

Challenging others
could turn to your own downfall
that you’re not ready.

Looking for blue skies
could find you missing the sights
of clouds of beauty.

Doorways to trouble
often open unnoticed
until later dates.

The length of minutes
is sometimes so much longer
when you are anxious.

An angel of love
will give peace through Lord Jesus
when troubles are great.

A dust bunny’s life
can exist beneath sofas
until it’s vacuumed.

Fan blades of summer
twirl about making breezes
out of a moment.

Grandeurs delusion
comes with a false sense of pride
and gives destruction.

Nows variations
might come with many viewpoints
from different eyes.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been a crazy few days around here.  I’m tired of rain,
but I’m pretty sure there are a few people in other areas
that are much more tired of the rain and all than us.  We
had a lot of wind and rain Friday night and Saturday.  It’s
finally moved on a bit,  but we’re still expecting a little bit
more rain today,  tonight and tomorrow.  LOL it might even
rain a bit off and on through next week.  Like I have said
before LOL,  when it finally stops snowing up here,  it’s on
with the rain hehehe.  So far the only happy medium I have
seen is one that is paid well for nothing.  It’s 75 F degrees
right now at almost 4 PM.  Our electricity kept flickering
yesterday due to maybe some tree limbs somewhere down
the road brushing the power lines.  The electricity finally
went out due to what I think is a branch somewhere near
town falling on the power lines.  The electricity came back
on later to only go back out again for a brief,  which is the
reason that I didn’t write any of my poems or haiku until
today LOL.  Our internet server was out for a little while,
which also prevented me from copywriting so I figured
I would just wait and write it all today.  My email started
giving me heck and called Sitestar/WT my default email
and told them and the guy didn’t have a clue,  so I had
to figure it out myself.  I then called him back to tell him
what to do if somebody else calls with the same problem.
LOL,  I told him I was an internet tech back in the 90’s
and still help a few with their PC problems.  Life has a
way of creating crossroads into yesterday every so often,
hasn’t it LOL.  Milo is lying down right beneath my feet
and making it hard to type hehehe.  Judy is over at her
sister Trudy’s house taking care of her mom while Trudy
puts in some part time hours at WalMart.  So it’s me and
the boys once again.  Benny is guarding the living room
as usual hehehe.  He’s our little watch dog.  Milo just
waits for him to bark and then to make sure if it’s worth
getting up and actually barking about before he actually
gets up.  Of course he does get up often to scratch at
the door to tell me he’s gotta go potty and if I ignore him,
he starts barking at me LOL.  He barks to go out and
then barks to come back in.  That’s his communication.
LOL oh yea,  he barks for treats until we tell him to use
his indoor voice and then he sort of does a small little
roar bark that sort of sounds like (I love you) hehehehe.
Benny just sits and lets Milo do all the noise making,
because he knows that he’ll get a treat too.  I just wish
Benny would be more like Milo in telling us that he’s
gotta go potty.  He’ll just dance around excitedly until
we get then notion that maybe just maybe he’s gotta go
outside and potty LOL.  They are weird,  but we love em.
The clouds have stolen the sunshine again dad burn it.
I mean,  I do love to look at the clouds,  but when that’s
all I can see,  it dulls up the view hehehe.  So it’s 73 F
degrees now at 4:30 PM.  It got a rather sort of chilly
43 F degrees last night.  It’s only supposed to get down
to 59 F tonight,  but we never really know hehehehe.
It could get cooler.  Tomorrows high is supposed to be
81 F degrees,  but we shall see.  I just went in to check
on Benny and he was just bouncing around playing with
his toys hehehe.  Judy and I went over to her exes house
for a cookout Friday.  It wasn’t my idea of fun,   but I
did it to please her.  We didn’t stay long,  because the
boys were at home in their crates and Milo has a weak
bladder plus he drinks water like a camel and we were
sure that he was thirsty hehehehehe.  We’ve put water
bowls in with them before,  but they only end up tipping
them over and filling up the crates while splashing about
in their little home made crate pond LOL.  So,  we try
to always get back soon,  or leave one of us home with
them which is often the epidemic :).  Some days it’s just
too hot to bring the boys.  Speaking of the boys,  Benny
wanted to go outside for a bit,  so I let him out.  I think
he wants to keep a look out for momma.  He’s perched
on the front steps hehehe.  He goes bizerk when he sees
her pull up or he thinks he hear the car.  Unfortunately
he hears a lot of freaking cars that are not driving up
in our driveway LOL.   It’s OK,  we love him just the
same :).  Milo is still lying in the floor in here,  but he’s
moved from under my feet YEAH :).  Now I don’t have
to watch where I put my feet in fear of kicking him LOL.
I thank God every day for giving me such a loving home.
Yes,  we have our share of disputes,  but we work through
them with forgiveness.  The boys do get on our nerves
from time to time,  but all in all,  they’re pretty good boys.
Looking back on years of yesterday,  I can see where
my life was only full of turmoil and not many knew of it.
I held it in and never showed anyone my tears.  I’ve
learned that it’s not weak to show your feelings,  but a
strong suit to not be afraid to show your emotions,  yet
not to just be a whiny sort.  We all have problems and
there are many as I use to be that do not let anyone in
their world to share their feelings.  Many guys think
that it’s a weak man that cries.  I used to think the same
and it almost put me in my grave.  By holding in all of
your emotions and preventing anyone from helping you
you could end up with Crohn’s disease the same as I
did and almost bleed to death internally.  I had asked
for help in 1990,  but the damage was already done
and it started out as Ulcerative Colitis and gradually
turned to Crohn’s.  In 1994 I ended up in Medical City
Hospital and almost died on the gurney.  I had lost too
much blood.  It’s a long story,  but the reason I tell you
to not be afraid to let someone know your pain is that
this could happen to you or you could have a stroke
the same as I did or heart attack.  God put others on
this Earth to share with and love.  Share with them and
love them.  If you think you have nobody,  then call
somebody to ask for help.  We all need a friend in our
days of pain and sorrow just as we also need a friend
to share the good times.  LOL Don’t let a macho status
to steal your chance to feel better about yourself and
have a true friend.  Those that only want to be around
you because of money or what you can do for them are
not true friends.  Let God be your friend.  He sent His
Son to be our very best friend and Savior.  Won’t you
please let Him in.  Now I believe it’s time for me to
begin my little search back through all that I’ve written
here to see if I can find a good word or phrase that I
can use for the title for today’s brand new poem to go
along with all of the other brand new poems that I wrote
today LOL.  So,  it’s away I go to that little place of my
recollection that I like to call RECOLLECT VILLE :).
I think I found a good title a ways back in my rambling
that I haven’t already used.  I hope I can write a decent
poem using it :).  Here goes.

Our Share of Disputes

We each have our problems
with horns many toots
that we think more of
our share of disputes.
Times may find folly
with echoes of pain,
but we can find goodness
in friends to attain.
Our share of disputes
are often made large
when in fact they are
when anger takes charge.
Let not your troubles
to grow to contend.
Find peace in blessings
with hands of a friend.
Soon then your problems
will lessen their routes
learning that we all
have our share of disputes.

Oh yea,  Happy late 6th of July hehehe.  Ok so it’s not
the 4th.  I can’t rewind to it.  OK so happy Belated 4th
of July.  Are ya happy now.  Quite a few were rained out
due to Hurricane Arthur.  Judy and I didn’t shoot off any
fireworks.  Not that we ever do.  I haven’t shot off any
type of fireworks in decades.  Watched a few,  but didn’t
light any hehehe.  I used to many years ago,  but it got
old and I was tired of almost blowing my hands up with
the short fuses hehehehe.  Milo just knocked at the door
saying he needs to go out and potty.   Be back!  Back.
Benny was ready to come back in as they passed like
ships in the night LOL.  I’ll be hearing Milo barking in
just a bit saying he’s done and ready to come back in.
OH,  there he is.  Be back!  LOL Back!  They started
playing chase while running in front of me coming back
in here hehehe.  Ok so I guess before I get back into
rambling mode I need to tell you what I tell you every
week and that is,  I wrote some more poems and haiku.
Yep,  10 more poems which none of them this week are
Christmas poems hehehe.  One is allllllmost hehehehe,
but no cigar LOL.  I also wrote 22 more haiku for all
of my haiku lovers out there.  Yes again,   I wrote all
of the poems and haiku today as I said before 🙂  So,
being that Judy’s not here,  I had to edit them myself,
so don’t get your hope up too much hehehehehehe
Now it’s getting close to the time for me to begin my
search for that not so great at hiding Off Switch LOL,
but not before I wish you a fantastic weekend or at
least what’s left of it and a blessed week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  OK,  are ya at least
trying to hide this week?  LOL ya must be,  because
I can’t see ya right off.  Aha,  I see ya,  hiding behind
my little statuette that some of our neighbors gave me
a couple of years ago.  It says (I Think You’re Nice).
I sure miss them as well as others.  We had a flood
in front of our house the end of June 2012 and all of
their kids brought a canoe and paddled from one side
to the other hehehe.  Benny had fun playing with them.
The good old days 🙂  Anyways,  I see ya you little
whippersnapper LOL.  You’ll have to hide a lil better
next week.  Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Mornings Seasons

As the day
begins its quest
mornings seasons
shine their best.
Showing pictures
large and small
here and there
and over all.
Mornings seasons
might be bright
or be cloudy
rain in sight.
Each new morning
gives a view
seasons journey
thereunto.
Mornings seasons
might display
snowflakes falling
light of day.
Each new portion
morning shows
displays seasons
how they flow.
Found as morsels
turning great
mornings seasons
change with date.

In Our Path

Summers stories
written said
in our path are
found ahead.
Things envisioned
journeyed to
in our path is
found a view.
Sometimes troubled,
sometimes not
in our path is
little,  lot.
It’s those moments
bumpy whiles
in our path that
show their styles.
Sometimes lessons
good and bad
in our path are
what we had.
Yet those journeys
that we go
in our path will
help us grow.

The Past Today

While now is in view
the past lingers on
leaving us memories
dusk unto dawn.
The past today
is not often clear
for it’s a moment
of our yesteryear.
So many turnstiles
are found down the road
sometimes with minutes
that seem to explode.
Our recollections
of then thereunto
is sometimes clouded
with what we now view.
Often it’s anger
that describes our way
when we are viewing
in the past today.
Letting our lessons
to be only pain
seeing the past today
without the gain.
Look now at yesterdays
journeys detail
and see the lessons
that then seemed as Hell.

Watching Unfold

Many times people
will only see bad
when they are looking
with what that they had.
Watching unfold
the remembered times
might be recalled
as many land mines.
Yet often memories
that we recall
are just a moments time
spring unto fall.
A different year
and a different day
watching unfold
might not be that grey.
Don’t let the sadness
that yesterday saw
to become only
your destiny’s flaw.
For every moment
gives new to behold
that we can thank God
while watching unfold.

Another Answer

A question of minutes
with pages we turn
gives us the gateways
to times we discern.
With many answers
to questions we ask
comes many wrong ones
that our times unmask.
As we ask questions
some answers might come
flooding so brainless
and seeming so dumb.
Yet another question
might surely give you
another answer
that might clear the view.
Don’t just be sitting
with one answer said,
for another answer
might be better read.

A Trillion Stars

A night so bright
a trillion stars
has the help
of Venus and Mars
The moonlight too
is shining bright
with all the stars
the dark of night.
A trillion stars
are found and seen
displayed as
the greatest dream.
Glittering surely
like Christmas above
a trillion stars
are so full of love.
They give twinkles
that sometimes display
lighting the night
as if it were day.

Counting Minutes

Time moves on
as minutes pass
leaving then
maybe too fast,
but when counted
time slows down
leaving a shadow
found on the ground.
Counting minutes
can leave you there
just found waiting
for everywhere.
Time found slowly
dusk unto dawn
how counting minutes
will slowly move on.
Don’t sit counting
the minutes away.
Look for moments
that shine now today.

Day 5 of July

Summertime showers
are seasons reply
found in the midst of
day 5 of July.
The wind was blowing
all the rain sideways
found on day 5
of July summer days.
A lake soon grew
from waters that stood
day 5 of July
in our neighborhood.
A time long ago
I remember so well
seemed just alike
this time that I tell.
Day 5 of July
had one thing so new
the lacking of kids
in a wooden canoe.

As A Wave

Moving seasons
clouds of rain
brings some sights
on windowpane.
As a wave
that flows with ease
clouds pour drops
upon the trees.
The wind then blowing
harder still
brings more rain
on windowsill.
Sounds of thunder
lightning strikes
found within
the darkest nights.
As a wave
it rolls and roars
dark of night
through cloudy shores.
Scenes transfixing
in the night
clouds of rain
with streaks of light.
As a wave
through highest seas
lightning sounds
in great degrees.
Roaring as a
cloudy lion
Heaven above
in mounts of Zion.
Raindrops fall
with much to save
and it pours
just like a wave.
Puddles join
with drops delight
as a wave
within the night.

Lonely Times

When in my shadows
I find only me
I look beyond right now
to search out to see.
Lonely times visions
are often what’s found
when I look inside
not all around.
Links to my loneliness
often find chains
gathered from turnstiles
remembered rains.
Looking through time zones
my lonely times cry
seeking for memories
from days gone by.
Yet now I look for
the good times today
that help my lonely times
not fill so grey.
Yes there’s still lonely times
found in my sight,
but with Lord Jesus Christ
I’ll be alright.
And yes my loving wife
and four legged boys
help me find peace of mind
with days full of joy.

Haiku
for July 6,  2014

Left is a journey
of which that we might head to
that might need changing.

Links to our troubles
often come in form of greed
and wanting our way.

Tomorrows story
starts yesterday and today,
but not totally.

Looks of a liar
are spelled out in their problems
that they try to hide.

The ends beginning
finds a path from yesterday
that connects today.

Some clouds floating by
paint an ongoing picture
while they’re changing shape.

Sunrise brings morning
with chances for new choices
to brighten your day.

A fans blades will turn
giving force to the still air
making it a breeze.

While looking around
you might stumble and fall down,
so watch where you step.

A flowers journey
begins with a little seed
that finds a good home.

Tomorrow finds time
that we knew not of today
so do your best now.

Lessons are hidden
in many places that we go
and fall on our face.

When storm clouds gather
they might hide a true rainbow
within their heartbeat.

Summer brings changes
from many days of sunshine
to storms run amuck.

Chances for stardom
don’t always go as they’re planned,
for pain may follow.

Rollercoaster loops
can make ones stomach turn sickly
and lose their dinner.

Left over choices
can become as a burden,
for timing is wrong.

A wing and a prayer
is often the very truth
when in a bad plane.

Love unites people
and hate tries to destroy them,
so hold fast to love.

As the days pass by
our eyes might see many things
we don’t understand.

Lose lips will sink ships
if they’re not filtered with love
so to float soundly.

Today marks a time
that began with a moment
that it was perceived.
