ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been another white and bright week gone by and
it’s seeming that this snow will never melt, but I know
it will sooner or later LOL. We might get some more
snow this week, but according to my weather program
it won’t be too much and it will be joined with some rain.
The daytime temperatures are supposed to be warmer
and above the freezing mark, but the nights are still in
the freezing temperature range. I am going to get my
PC packed up this week and sent to Texas to get it
hopefully repaired. It has many of the programs that
I need that I do not have on this PC. I’ve got my XP
PC switched over to my large monitor so I can see to
do what I need to do. The other monitor is a 15 inch.
This one is 28 inches. I can see it better. Anyways,
I’ve found all of my poems, journals and haiku’s so
I have them updated on this PC. Actually, the only
reason I use this PC is for my journals and sending
them using Outlook Express. Windows Live sucks.
It will not do my email folders or stationery as my
Outlook Express will. If I were to have to do it all on
Windows Live, I would just have to quit because it
will not work. So, thank God for Windows XP and
Outlook Express. I have all of the programs I need
on it to keep it safe. I don’t need Windows updates
I’ve got all of the preventive programs that I need.
This PC is a lot faster than the other also, being the
other one was only a 1.4 GHZ hehehe and I bought
it new a year or so ago from Walmart. I’m going to
see about getting my friends in Texas to put a faster
processor in it while they have it. This one has a
2.99 GHZ processor. It boogies hehehe. Oh well,
life goes on. Anyways, onto another topic. This
passed week Judy went for an Aortogram which is
Angioplasty on her leg to unblock the arteries in
her leg. She’ll have the other leg done later. They
can only do one leg at a time. She’s doing pretty
good. They said she could remove the bandage
in 48 hours and that was last Tuesday, but she
left it on for a couple days extra just for safety’s
sake. I removed it for her last night. It’s healed
nicely. We’re going to buy us some bicycles when
we can afford them and some dog/kid carriers to
pull behind them so Benny and Milo can go with
us on our rides 🙂 Yeppers, Judy and me wanna
lose some weight and we figured that’ll be a good
way. Today it’s bright and sunny and when you
look outside, you can go snow-blind, because it’s
white as all get out hehehe. Yep, we’ve still got
megatons of snow outside. Benny is sitting on
the porch enjoying the sunshine. He loves to sit
on the porch. I have no idea why, but he does.
I think I’ll go see if he’s ready to come in. I’ll
be back. I opened the door and said, are ya
ready to come back inside and he just looked up
at me as if to ponder the thought and then he got
up and slowly came inside and he was greeted by
Milo. OK back to writing. It’s 37 F degrees and
with the sun shining it feels a little warmer than
that. It’s supposed to get down to 21 F degrees
tonight. That’s still not too bad. It’s not subzero.
Well, what else is there to talk about? The boys
are resting quietly in the other room. I think Milo
is on our bed watching cartoons and Benny is in
the living room on the recliner hehehe. Judy’s
daughters came over the other day to check and
see how her surgery went. We had a great visit.
They brought Helena’s son Christian with them.
Helena is Judy’s youngest daughter. I was in
the middle of fixing Judy and I some breakfast
when they came by, but we sat and ate it while
we visited. Judy had already taken her diabetes
medicine and she had to eat. I took a few pictures
of her and the girls along with Christian in the
mix hehehe. I might put one of the pictures in
the stationery. Oh yea, me and the boys had
to wait out in the parking garage at the hospital
for 8 hours while Judy had her operation and
went to recovery. I went to visit her a couple
of times, but got lost on each occasion being
I get turned around easy hehehe and that is a
big hospital down in Bangor. I had to ask for
help to find her and then get back to our car 🙂
My asthma was kicking in bad and they ended
up wheeling me around in a wheelchair hehehe.
The Valet took me to our car. LOL, they didn’t
park it, but they could tell that I was not going
to be able to walk out to it, being I had moved
the car to the wrong parking lot hehehe. Hey,
I didn’t know. The doctor told me that I might
wanna move our car to the outside parking lot
so the boys could go potty. He never told me
which lot LOL. Anyways, I ended up moving
our car back to the parking garage as close
to the door as possible, so that when Judy was
ready to come home, they could see our car.
The boys never went poop. I guess they were
both a bit nervous. They did number 1 though.
LOL when we finally got home, they both ran
to find a place to go potty hehehe. Bangor
is 115 miles south of us LOL. Judy and I were
hungry so we stopped off at Wendy’s and got
us each a burger and fries to eat before we
headed on the long 2 1/2 hour drive home 🙂
Yep, Benny and Milo held their bowels until
we finally got home and quickly got out of the
car and ran to do their thing LOL. Yes we
love our little boys. God has so blessed our
family. My granddaughter Sami is doing a
little better. They had to amputate part of
her foot, but she is dealing with it as well as
to be expected. For those of you that don’t
know, Sami was born with Spinal Bifida
and her legs are paralyzed. She does real
good with braces. Please keep her and my
daughter Jamye in your prayers. Jamye is
doing her best, but I do know that all of the
problems can often overwhelm her at times.
They would me or anybody for that matter.
Thank You God for all of the blessings You
have given us and all of the angels that You
have sent to watch over us. There are many
times that I can feel the eyes of angels as
they stay beside me helping me to do what
I need to do. I can often feel the presence
of my dad as it seems his hand is laid on
my shoulder while watching me write. That
is what he used to do on Sunday mornings
when I was writing my journal. I can still
at times feel his hand on my shoulder as
he smiles and says, “Where’s my sermon”.
He always took my journal to church to use
in his lesson for the day. So, I reckon my
dad is always hanging out around our house
watching me write and keeping an eye on
us. I love you dad. OK so I guess I need
to cease my rambling and take my little
trip back through all that I’ve written here
to see if I can find a good word or phrase
that I can use for the title for today’s new
poem. So, it’s away I go to that little place
of my recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE. I think I may have
found a decent title and now after checking
I see that I have not used it yet, so away
we go hehehe.

On My Shoulder

Those times I felt
a sudden touch
that I loved
so very much.
The hand of dad
while watching me
on my shoulder
so Heavenly.
The pages turned
from faraway
to right now
another day.
My dad in Heaven
watching me
and so often
felt so free.
On my shoulder
I can feel
my daddy there
so very real.
His hand of love
and guidance true
on my shoulder
says I love you.
In his actions
words are found
on my shoulder
he’s around.

To dad
I love you
Bill

Ok, so I got a little deep in the poem. I do think
of my dad often and can sometimes feel him here
watching us. I often hear his voice talking to me
when I am all alone. He always inspired me and
helped me in what ever I was interested in be it
music, poetry or whatever. Thanks dad 🙂 Ok
time to get out of that mode hehehe. Milo just
strolled in and laid against me and my chair LOL.
I guess he missed me hehehe. Now he’s over in
a doggie bed right beside me. I haven’t heard
Benny bark for quite a while. There must not
be much going on outside today 🙂 We have
new neighbors. They look to be older than us.
I hope they can handle it way out here in the
boonies 🙂 There’s not much else to tell ya
except for what I tell you almost every week
and that is I wrote some more poems and haiku.
Yep, 10 more poems, but once again, none
of them are Christmas poems hehehe. I also
wrote 22 more haiku for all of my haiku lovers
out there. I hope you can find one that you
like out of either. Now I believe it’s time for
me to be searching for that confounded off
switch, but not before I wish you a most
joyful weekend or whatever’s left of it and
a truly blessings filled week. Remember
Jesus loves you and we do too. OK now,
where’s that off switch hiding at this week?
LOL, trying to act like a flea on Milo don’t
work. He ain’t got fleas and you’re a bit
large to be thinking you could pass as one.
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill, Judy, Benny and Milo Pearce

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Approaching Springtime

Wintertime’s leaving us
white snow to melt
showing its signature
times that it dealt.
Springtime’s beginning
with its scenic way
approaching with footsteps
of day after day.
The sunrise each morning
is brighter to shine
when winter leaves us
approaching springtime.
The days become flourished
with so much to grow
that were once hidden
beneath winters snow.
The days have more colors
as white fades away
while approaching springtime
with April and May.
Up here where the winters
seem to hang on real tight
springtime’s arrival
is a wonderful sight.
When approaching springtime
the warmth reappears
showing us its beauty
as it perseveres.
Filling up the distance with
beauty complete
giving us wonders
of a springtime retreat.
Green grasses growing
and flowers to bloom
approaching springtime
gives moments to swoon.
With every essence
of its own design
wintertime leaves us
approaching springtime.

Under The Moonlight

The night air breathes
a moonlight sky
with stars that twinkle
up so high.
Under the moonlight
scenes do appear
flavored as shadows
that often seem near.
Then as the moonlight
breathes a bit more
there are more stories
that you can explore.
Essence of starlight
moonlights companion
that in the night sky
seems like a canyon.
Rivers and valleys
a wonderful sight
are many wonders
under the moonlight.

It Takes Two

Two in a story
written in time
might find some pages
that somehow remind.
Written reminders
found deep inside
might repeat problems
of an ongoing ride.
It takes two people
to start up a war
letting the passed days
to go on too far.
It takes forgiving
but maybe not forget
the horrid yesterdays
a moments mindset.
Learning your lessons,
but not allowing them
to be your now days
of agin and agin.

Beyond The Portal

As doorways are closing
some open real wide
finding our pathways
with footsteps inside.
Beyond the portal
of moments remain
choices we’re choosing
sometimes so insane.
Many a doorway
will not be so good
showing us pathways
there aren’t understood.
Beyond the portal
of then unto there
time frames might falter
and seem without prayer.
Yet every portal
of life we go through
has better choices
for us then to do.
Choosing to change up
which way that we go
beyond the portal
then teaches to grow.
Lessons from journeys
of yesterdays miles
can make the difference
from our frowns and smiles.
Beyond the portal
learn how to breathe
finding God’s blessings
while learning to believe.

Just Imagine

With just a thought
you can be found
with times so sweet
on solid ground.
Just imagine
what that you see
is but a doorway
to a sweet mystery.
Now take a moment
to look deep within
find you a dream to
just imagine.
Seek for the times
of momentous smiles
now just imagine
how it compiles.
For every moment
of each time we see
we can imagine
a great mystery.
Now just imagine
a blessings filled day
and then let Jesus Christ
make it that way.

Springtime’s Lullaby

Within a sweet lullaby
of springtime’s desire
there is a moments time
in its entire.
Painted with morsels
of flowers and trees
and many birds
with a few bumblebees.
Springtime’s lullaby
sings ones to sleep
with all the blessings
of moments to keep.
Found in a lullaby
springtime displays
sweet birdies chirping
their wonderful ways.
Found in a gateway
of oh me oh my
are the great blessings
springtime’s lullaby.

Ocean Of Wisdom

The wisdom of waters
waves rolling in
is but an ocean
that times do begin.
An ocean of wisdom
brings forth a prayer
found in the waves
that none can compare.
Scenes so transfixing
as ships out at sea
an ocean of wisdom
displays then for free.
Waves of emotions
roll onto the shore
an ocean of wisdom
of time ever more.
Pictured in a seccond
of minutes of time
an ocean of wisdom
forms its design.

All Day

Looking outside
looking in
we might all day
see just sin.
Sometimes all day
isn’t found
what that’s truly
all around.
All day might seem
misery
as you blindly
search to see.
Yet all day might
be real good
if we’d look
the way we should.
Let not all day
be disgrace.
Seek for time
a smiling face.

The Evening Shade

The day rolls by
and sun goes down.
The evening shade
might then be found.
Counting minutes
through the day
brings the times
that go away.
The evening shade
is welcomed true
giving peace
from distant view.
For the sunset
brings its shine
sometimes brightly
time to time.
Then as sunlight
fades from view
the evening shade
is found brand-new.

A Longing Spirit

Beyond our heartbeat
Heavens shine
a longing spirit
so Divine.
The sweetest heartbeat
up above
a longing spirit
fills with love.
The sweetest passion
Christ bestows
a longing spirit
Heaven knows.
Sending blesssings
abundantly
a longing spirit
seeks to see.
It’s with Lord God
through His Son
a longing spirit’s
surely won.
A sweet heartbeat
then bestows
a longing spirit
Jesus knows.

Haiku
for Mar 28, 2015

The warmest people
could have a colder inside
that they hide from you.

Losing perception
makes distant thoughts deception
that could hurt someone.

The leaves on the trees
create abundant displays
as the wind will blow.

With every viewpoint
comes a different story
that many will tell.

Beyond now today
we cannot truly see clear
tomorrow’s results.

The river of time
flows as an secondhand of life
that’s misunderstood.

Searching for true love
could find you with many flaws
so let God help you.

Blessings in a life
are often hidden from sight
until the right time.

Harboring sadness
might find you stood all alone,
so learn how to smile.

As today moves on
it leaves traces of itself
written in your mind.

Sunrise of springtime
displays the dawn of flowers
and other species.

Heartbeats that unite
can become a thriving force
if God is with them.

The snow melts away
as winter breathes its last breath
and springtime arrives.

Destitute people
need some help from you and I
along with Jesus.

When one door closes
you’ll find another will open,
but it might be wrong.

The fear of darkness
gives strength to what’s within it
so have faith in God.

Tomorrow’s journey
begins with footsteps in today
so take heed your steps.

Losing your footing
can cause ridiculous words
to come from your mouth.

Following someone
might find you in their shadow
looking real stupid.

Allowing others
to depict your emotions
could make you the fool.

Hardships of others
might be a little rougher
than you thought they were.

Today marks a time
that yesterday helped to grow
through the good and bad.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been not so spring looking this week. It snowed a little
last night. Not too awful bad, but it could of passed us by and
we wouldn’t of been upset hehehe. The wind’s blowing rather
vigorously today. It’s 14 F degrees right now which was the
high for today. It’s beginning to get colder as the hours pass.
Tonight’s high is supposed to be 5 F degrees. Nope, it don’t
seem much like spring. We’ve still got mega tons of snow in
our field of view. Benny is still loving it and Milo can take it
or leave it LOL. Boy that wind is blowing strong out there 🙂
We’re supposed to have 15 to 25 MPH winds with 45 MPH
gust this evening and I think they have begun. Yep, I fill the
wind as it hits our house. It causes my PC monitor to rock
back and forth hehehe. Judy went for some lab test at the
hospital in Bangor last Tuesday and she goes back this week
for surgery on her legs. It’s a routine surgery, but they are
also going to check some other things. Me and the boys will
have a long wait, but it’ll be worth it for Judy to be able to
walk again without hurting so bad. We’re going to get some
bicycles and pet/kid trailers to pull behind them so that the
boys can come with us when we go for bike rides. I can’t
wait! We’re trusting that her surgery will go well and she
will have less hip problems. Anyways, it started snowing
almost halfway to Bangor Tuesday and it snowed all the way
home. I do love snow, but I hate it when it begins to turn to
plain old ice or worse yet, slush. That’s what’s soon to be
all we’ll see for a great while until all of the snow has melted
away hehehe. Sheesh, that wind is slamming against our
house hard. I had to stop and go and check on Milo because
he was barking at the bathroom door. I guess he thought
Judy was in there LOL. Nope Milo, mom’s not home. The
bathroom door stays shut to put less strain on our furnace
and save on heating oil. The only vent in this end of the
house that’s opened is the one in the bathroom. We’ve
got 2 radiator heaters heating our bedroom and the PC
room. One in the bedroom and one in here. That’s so
the furnace only has to keep the other end of the house
from letting the pipes freeze. We stay in the PC room
most of the time. It’s the warmest room in the house as
the radiator heater along with computers and monitors
tend to keep this room at around 70 F degrees all the
time. Benny keeps us informed if someone pulls up in
our driveway or one of the others. 🙂 He goes ballistic
when someone comes to the door or he happens to hear
a knock of any sorts. Often the knock is either Judy
or me bumping something and we have to holler and
say it was just us Benny hehehe. Old Milo is pretty laid
back. Though he does knock at the PC room door if
he’s gotta go potty and if that don’t get our attention,
he’ll start barking like he was just a little bit ago at the
bathroom door LOL. Yes, it gets goofy around here
from time to time hehehe. My old tummy is growling.
That bowl of cereal I ate this morning has done worn
off. I might fix me and the boys something to eat in
a little bit. Egg sandwiches sound good. I fried up
some bacon the other day and I saved some of it to
give to the boys as treats. I’m sure they’ll love that.
It’s 10 F degrees now at 6:13 PM. Yep, it’s getting
colder. Benny wanted to go outside and potty, but
I figure he will wanna stay outside for a little longer
than Milo usually stays out, because Benny likes to
play in the snow. I’ll go check on him in a little bit.
Milo is in here with me lying in a doggy bed with his
face near the heater hehehe. He loves that heater 🙂
I just went to check on Benny and he was ready to
come back inside hehehe. Milo got up and went with
me to check on him. Milo looks out for his little bro.
When Benny came in they both ran side by side down
through the kitchen and into the PC room (in here).
They’re both lying down in their beds in here now 🙂
It feels as though they have always been with us.
It’s weird how quickly they grew to be a part of our
family that seems to have always been here. The
winds seems to have died down a little. Thank God!
I thought we were gonna blow away hehehe. Every
time I opened the front storm door to let the boys out
I had to hang onto it or it would of blown off it’s hinges.
Friday was the first day of spring and it sure doesn’t
look like it up here hehehe. We still go snow blind if
we look outside without sunshades on LOL. One day
when Mister Winter finally decides to take a hike,
we might see a portion of springtime. Of course up
here, this is the normal for springtime hehehehe.
I can’t wait till me and Judy get our bikes and the
trailers for the boys. We’re gonna have fun taking
rides together taking pictures as we go and maybe
just maybe we might both start losing some weight.
That would be nice. Of course everybody says that
I look right for Santa hehehe. Santa needs to lose
some pounds. I get tired of having to ask the weight
limit on chairs before I sit down hehehe. I know, I’m
not that fat, or maybe I’m am :). I say I am. Hmm,
what else is there to ramble about? It looks like I’m
running out of things to say. Who’d of thunk it LOL!
All I have left to say this far is that God has been
watching out for us. He has protected us and cared
for us through every trouble that’s come our way.
Thank You God for never giving up on us and always
having angels watching over us. If you ever feel
alone, look up and say hello, because God is always
watching and waiting to hear from you. He might
not remove the road blocks, but he will give you
a way to get through them or another path to follow.
Now, I believe it’s time for me to be taking my lil
trip back through all that I’ve written here to see
if I can find me a good word or phrase that I can use
for the title for today’s brand new poem. So, it’s
away I go to that lil place of my recollection that I
always like to call RECOLLECT VILLE. Oh yea,
I managed to find all of the poems and haiku that
were not on this PC. Judy had them on hers so
I just imported them over here with a flash drive.
So now I can check for sure to make sure that a
title has not been used hehehe. Hmm, it looks
like I may have found a decent title and now after
checking, I see that it hasn’t been used yet by me.
So here goes nothing, but I surely hope not LOL.

Say Hello

As winter leaves
with melting snow
seek for spring
and say hello.
Search the doorways
opened wide
as dear spring
then comes inside.
Watch the white snow
melt away
as it slowly
shows spring day.
When dear spring
is then begun
say hello
to mornings sun.
Let the white snow
live in place
of a winters
smiling face.
For when springtime
starts it’s show
see the beauty
say hello.

Yes, I know, that wasn’t a very good poem, but they
can’t all be winners ya know hehehe. I hope it at least
brought you a smile. Also I hope my rambling made ya
giggle a little LOL. I never know if what I’m writing is
going to make any sense to anybody but me and there
are times that it don’t even make sense to me hehehe.
WOW, the wind has picked back up again. I can hear
it blowing. Hehehe It seems my monitor has turned into
a pendulum as it rocks back and forth. It makes it just
a little bit difficult to read what I’ve written to check
for typo’s hehehe. I’ll still give it a whirl after I finish
writing. But now, I believe it’s time for me to tell you
what I tell you almost every week and that is, I wrote
some more poems and haiku. Yeppers, 10 more poems,
but none of them are Christmas poems, being up until
today I was unable to check for duplicate titles hehehe.
Maybe next week 🙂 like you’re actually wanting to
read Christmas poems, huh hehehe. I send them to
my friend Ben Geurts in Holland and he posts them
on his Old Fashioned Christmas site. A link to it is
at the very end of the journal. Oh and yes I also once
again wrote 22 more haiku for all of my haiku lovers
out there 🙂 I hope you can find something you like
that makes you smile and even think. Now, I reckon
it’s time for me to be searching for that not so elusive
off switch, but not before I wish you a most blessed
weekend or whatever’s left of it and a most wonderful
prayerful week. Remember, Jesus loves you and we
do too. Now, where is that confounded off switch at
this time. Hmm, I wonder! Yep, hiding under my
keyboards again. Dude don’t you realize that if I see
it wobbling, I’m gonna look. Try harder next time.
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill, Judy, Benny and Milo Pearce

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Without Thinking True

While many going hurrying
through their days chores
they might then be often
be stuck with sad shores.
Troublesome moments found
from what all they did
while without thinking true
they might overbid.
Sometimes our hurried times
can become a bomb
found as exploding
as our time moves along.
Leaving a dusty trail
in the shadows of time
that’s from the devastation
of time frames land mine.
For without thinking true
you might just be found
standing at the doorway
of all Hell gone down.

Looking Through The Darkness

Throughout the night sky
with clouds overhead
looking through the darkness
might fill you with dread.
Yet it’s the darkness
that gives time for sleep
dreaming of the things
while you’re counting sheep.
But I know that often times
sleep is not found
looking through the darkness
at sights all around.
Searching through the shadows
of nighttime’s surmise
seeing the clouds forming
real high in the skies.
You might find you something
that darkness unveiled
that is God’s angels
with Heaven entailed.
Found as many blessings
dancing around
looking through the darkness
your Heaven is found.

The True Joy Of Life

Finding our blessings
through all of the strife
many might find then
the true joy of life.
Often our blessings
are hidden from sight
throughout our journeys
of left ways and right.
It’s with the patterns
of our lives composed
that the true joy of life
is often exposed.
Maybe a doorway
that we’ve entered through
might show the answers
from wrong things we do.
The true joy of life
could be found in a frame
sometimes as portions
that we thought so lame.
Let not your past days
of yesterdays strife
hide all the blessings
the true joy of life.

Within A Little Prayer

As hearts connect
from everywhere
hope is found
within a little prayer.
Peaceful thoughts
from you and me
within a little prayer
makes history.
The changes made
with many found
within a little prayer
is town to town.
It only takes
a moments time
within a little prayer
to be sublime.
So now today
let God show you

Time Flies By

While time is ticking
time flies by
leaving us questions
of where and why.
When is discussion
as who is implied
while time ticks ahead on
its own little ride.
Soon times connections
are found face to face
as it flies surely
to its point and place.
It’s our perceptions
that create many views
as time flies by
to its own bit of news.
Sometimes illusions
of whether or why
become all the answers
as time flies by.

The Imaginary Fire

On the TV screen
is all my desire
flames all igniting
the imaginary fire.
A video fireplace
burning so bright
seeming as warmth
that feels oh so right.
Yet it’s imaginary
not burning true
as the fire burns
right here in my view.
The imaginary fire
is something I see
flickering flames
for you and for me.
We watch it together
as time moves along
the imaginary fire
until it is gone.

Looking For Mysteries

Seeking for changes
searching for sights
looking for mysteries
often excites.
Taking some chances
walking a way
looking for mysteries
comes into play.
Sometimes a porthole
of time opens up
filling our wantings
a curious cup.
Looking for mysteries
often entwines
things we’ve envisioned
mysterious times.
Often shortsighted
will hide many keys
when you are found
looking for mysteries.

Grinding Pages

This day and age
of certain stages
sometimes seems
as grinding pages.
Books relentless
churning words
grinding pages
of absurds.
Many a motion
find a place
grinding pages
life’s rat race.
It seems many
have lost God
as they seek
their own applaud.
Grinding pages
surely show
how so many
come and go.
Thinking only
of themselves
leaving Jesus
on their shelves.
Not allowing
better ages
while they’re always
grinding pages.

The Last Of Winter

The snow is melting
spring is here
the last of winter
is sincere.
It shows snowflakes
still to fall,
but it’s end is
soon to call.
Each day’s closer
soon to gaze
found within
what spring displays.
The last of winter
still has time
to show snowflakes
last design.
Soon the snow will
melt away
the last of winter
and its way.

Searching For Myself

I can remember
those times long ago
searching for myself
and what I should know.
Things I recall now
from moments despair
times that I acted
without not a care.
Searching for myself
and who I should be
I found in the future
was always just me.
While looking at others
I sought to compare
and found that I was
just so unaware.
My own personality
was loud and clear
while searching for myself
in that yesteryear.

Haiku
for Mar 21, 2015

Life in existence
brings forth many passing days
that we know not of.

Confusion excites
when it’s filled with some turnstiles
that could be better.

The wonders of time
are counted as emotion
as minutes tick on.

Long lost family
can rekindle in Heaven
as life has ended.

Morning brings shadows
that come from many viewpoints
as the sun heads west.

A bicycle chain
has many links holding it
as it propels you.

A moments doorway
might be closed for a reason
that you’re not ready.

Liking a pathway
could turn out very sour
if you walk blindly.

Many a person
will often change who they are
before deciding.

Looking for passion
needs you to be passionate
within your own life.

One that’s a liar,
often continues lying,
so do not be fooled.

People without heart
will trample your existence
without thinking twice.

Hindered emotions
might turn into some regrets
so learn to express.

Nobody’s someone
just because they did something.
We are all someone.

As life moves along
the stages we’re on will change
creating new scenes.

Patterns of turnstiles
are as some squeaking loudly
and some not so loud.

Heaven awaits us
as our lives continue on
with minutes counting.

The bright front porch light
helps us to see much clearer
where our dogs might go.

Harnessing sunlight
gives power to move mountains
one grain at a time.

Thinking you know best
might expose your ignorance
for things you don’t know.

Sometimes we are wrong
no matter how you view it,
so learn some acceptance.

Looks of tomorrow
might change with its arrival
so don’t hold your breath.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s snowing vigorously at the moment :). I had to go
out and shovel our steps and part of our driveway so
that the boys could go potty. Milo tried to go out and
pee a few hours ago and couldn’t get beyond the first
step LOL. I walked out to check the mail before I did
the shoveling and that was a chore. The snow all the
way to the mailbox was at least a foot or more deep 🙂
The roads looked nasty. It’s whiteout conditions and
so Judy didn’t have to go to her sister’s house to take
care of her mom being Judy’s sister didn’t go to work
either hehehe. My old back is aching right now from
shoveling snow. While I was outside shoveling, Benny
and Milo came out to go potty and Benny was so happy
that he stayed out with me waiting for me to finish. He
was jumping up on my leg wanting me to pet him LOL.
Judy took a few pictures of me shoveling and Benny
jumping up wanting me to pet him. Although it was
a little hard to shovel and pet him at the same time 😉
When walking to the mailbox I took a video there and
back. In the mean time my right hand that had no glove
on it got a little frozen being I needed it free to use my
camera and can’t work the buttons with my glove on.
Judy was rinsing out soda cans and I borrowed the
water faucet for a brief to thaw out my fingers hehehe.
So yes it is snowing and I see no sign of it stopping
any time soon. It looks like it may snow on through
the night and it’s supposed to snow again Tuesday 🙂
I don’t mind the snow as long as we haven’t gotta go
no where or I haven’t gotta shovel too much, but it’s
looking like I may have to go and shovel again being
it’s snowing so heavily and the winds blowing so much.
We’ve already gotten well over a foot of snow today.
With that added to what we already had, there’s a
few megatons of snow out there hehehe. It’s hard to
believe that spring is just 5 days away LOL. Nope it
shows no sign of it up here. Oh yea, my Windows 8
PC died and I have to send it to my friend at Century
Computer in Texas to have it fixed, so in the mean
time my reliable Windows XP will be doing all of the
work. Many of my poems and journals are on my
Windows 8 PC so I can’t really check too well to see
if I have duplicate poem titles, but I can check on
what I have on this PC. Hopefully they can get my
Windows 8 PC fixed, because it has many of my old
family pictures on it not to mention many of my poems
that I haven’t got on this PC. Reason being, Windows
8 Windows Live mail is not compatible with Outlook
Express and no way that I’ve found that I can move
them to Outlook Express. Oh well, life goes on 🙂
So, what all has happened this passed week? That’s
a good question! Our landlord finally made it over to
sort of fix our front storm door to where it will shut.
It’s far from perfect, but it will do till he can get back
and fix it better. My tummy’s grumbling. I haven’t
eaten yet today. I had another rough morning with
my stomach and allergies so I didn’t feel like eating
when Judy ate this morning. Of course the reason she
was eating this morning was because she was planning
on heading over to her sister’s house up until she got
a message from her saying forget it, because she’s
not getting out in this mess LOL. After Judy saw how
bad it was getting, she was glad that she didn’t have
to go out in the mess hehehe. I just heard the snow
plows head down the road again. They’ll be busy all
evening the way that it’s snowing, because when I
walked out to the mailbox and headed back, I couldn’t
tell where I had walked. All my tracks had already
disappeared. As I look out the window right now it
looks like it hasn’t eased up any on the snowing LOL.
The wind is still blowing pretty heavily also. Yep 🙂
it looks like I will have to go out and shovel again so
that the boys can get out to go potty. Milo is right
behind me eating some dried dog food and Benny is
lying down right beside him waiting his turn hehehe.
Milo got done and now Benny is eating. There are
3 pans of dried food, but the silly boys seems to
always eat from the same pan. If Milo eats from
another Benny will wait right behind kind of like
monkey see, monkey do hehehe. Benny will eat
anything that Milo eats LOL. Before we got Milo
we couldn’t get Benny to eat a few dried foods and a
few other dog foods, but now if he sees Milo eating
it he figures it must be good, so give him some LOL.
They’re both lying down in the floor sleeping now.
I think I need to change out my keyboards. This
PC has a smaller keyboard than I am used to and
it makes it a bit difficult with my big hands. My old
fingers tend to hit 2 keys at a time being the buttons
are so small. Plus the fact this keyboard is BLACK.
The keyboard that I am used to typing on is a white
Labtec and the buttons are twice the size hehehe.
Every freaking time I try to hit the enter button on
this keyboard I end up hitting the buttons above or
below which above is the brackets and below is the
shift button hehehe. So, as soon as I get my other
PC unplugged and packed for delivery I’ll be also
switching out the keyboards until the day that I get
my PC back from Texas. Then I will be switching
my big monitor and keyboard back to it. For the
mean time this will do. It seems our home is still
alive and well and God is still looking out for us.
We have our share of struggles, but nothing like
what we see many others dealing with. There is
always someone worse off than you, but they may
not see it that way. It’s the owner of the problems
that puts and value of their struggles. Yet, if we
would more times just accept what that is there
we might not view the problems as large as they
might of seemed. Let God show you all of the
blessings that you may have been overlooking
due to your own shortsightedness. Look at the
grand picture. Find all of the joy that you have
experienced and rekindle it in your mind. Often
it’s just our perception that determines the grand
scale of our problems. Often someone else might
look at your life and say, you are so very lucky.
Find the blessings and don’t stay focused on the
bad times. Now I believe I need to take my little
venture back through all that I’ve written here to
see if I can find a good word or phrase that I can
use for the title for today’s brand new poem. So
it’s away I go to that place of my recollection that
I always like to call RECOLLECT VILLE. Hmm,
it seems I may have found a title that I haven’t
already used, so let’s give it a try hehehehehe.
Here goes

Just Accept What That Is

So often we will worry
and struggle hard to find
a portion of a moment
with a little peace of mind.
Just accept what that is
for so often that’s the case
that will show you the blessings
from your daily rat race.
So many will be found just
looking at their troubles
and making them much larger
as they display their doubles.
The windows of acceptance
will most often give a way
to find you some peacefulness
day after day.
So, don’t always be looking
at the problems in place,
just accept what that is
and find a smile on your face.

Yes, I wrote that to myself LOL as I do many of my
poems. Hopefully it will help you as well. There are
a ton of things that are out of my grasp for fixing so
I need to accept them as they are and find the many
blessings that God has given me and be happy. I’m sure
that many of you have problems dealing with things
out of your control as well. Hehehe I have to face the
fact that it will still be snowing come spring time LOL.
I don’t mind it, but I’m not looking forward to all of
the slush that will follow when the snow starts to melt.
Yuck! Forget about washing the car LOL. It’ll just
get messy once you drive out of the car wash hehehe.
Anyways, there’s not much else to tell ya. We live
such an exciting life hehehe. So I reckon it’s time
for me to tell you what I tell you almost every week
and that is, I wrote some more poems and haiku 🙂
Yeppers, 10 more poems and 22 haiku for all of my
haiku lovers out there. Nope no Christmas poems
this week LOL. Maybe next week. So with that said
I guess I need to start my search for that confounded
off switch, but not before I wish you a most joyful
weekend or whatever is left of it and a blessings filled
week. Remember, Jesus loves you and we do too.
OK, so where is that off switch hiding this time????
I see ya you silly little varmint. Hiding on top of my
messed up PC won’t save you. You keep hanging your
legs over the side of it kicking them as if I won’t see
it LOL. Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill, Judy, Benny and Milo Pearce

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Tomorrow’s Gaze

With sights and sounds
from other days
we might just find
tomorrow’s gaze.
Found inside
a moments glance
there might be
some song and dance.
Many a moment
of time in view
might be things
we thought so true.
Tomorrow’s gaze
could become seen
more than merely
just a dream.
Pathways written
distant days
might be inside
tomorrow’s gaze.

A Kiss of Winter

As days bring forth
a kiss of winter
the time ticks on
for spring to enter.
Scenes begin their
changing ways
a kiss of winter
then just fades.
Leaving echoes
scenes to shine
a little snow
from wintertime.
A kiss of winter
soon becomes
a kiss of spring
to summers sun.
Each kiss fondly
displays true
it’s own timely
seasons view.

Disheartened Plans

When things go wrong
and plans are blown
don’t just sit
and grunt and groan.
Seek a better
place in time
for a smile
to surely find.
Think of good times
surely so
not disheartened
filled with woe.
For we’re surely
guaranteed
of a few times
dismal seed.
So don’t let your
can’t and cans
be filled with
disheartened plans.

Not Forgotten

Soon our journeys
will end true
leaving others
our own view.
Not forgotten
when we die
we are beacons
in the sky.
Ones might wonder
how and when
not forgotten
does begin,
but the answers
are with God
even though some
might seem odd.
Not forgotten
pages turn
with some lessons
we’ll discern.
Maybe not so
great to see,
but they still
teach you and me.

Life Begins

With a heartbeat
life begins
then in time
it surely ends.
That’s our lives
with passing time
life begins
as yours and mine.
Each with prospect
soon to see
life begins
to be what’ll be.
Days of yonder
began so
that through Jesus
surely grow.
Lessons painted
loss and wins
is what’s learned
when life begins.

Winter Lives

With snow of March
that time derives
winter lives
somehow survives.
Mornings gazing
brings to view
scenes we’re seeing
thereunto.
Winter lives
as flakes of white
way up here
each day and night.
March has hidden
springs detail
as some snowflakes
then set sail.
Winter lives
as life moves on
then until
its time is gone.
Here in Maine
winds whirl and whiz,
for in March then
winter lives.

Turbulent Thoughts

While in alone ville
I have time to think
the turbulent thoughts
of time frames to drink.
Found in a river
of thoughts long ago
the turbulent thoughts
continue to grow.
Seasons of footsteps
paving a way
the river of time is
day after day.
Turbulent thoughts
from alone villes design
then come alive
and surely unwind.
Finding the good times
from what was thought lost
this is alone villes
turbulent thoughts.

Waiting On God

Often we’ll hurry
and worry alot
while waiting on God
we’ve surely forgot.
Many things happen
as our mysteries
sometimes as calm
and then crashing seas.
Patiently waiting
will often be found
with many blessings
that God sends around.
Yet often hurry
will lead us astray
when we’re not waiting
for God to display.
Lessons are endless
with time frames abroad
and often it’s better when
waiting on God.

A Snow Looking Cloud

A day looking upwards
brings clouds looking down
and a snow looking cloud
that’s spreading around.
Snowflakes of journeys
are gathering true
as a snow looking cloud
just adds to my view.
Seasonal winds blow
with moments quite proud
as I look upward
at a snow looking cloud.
The pages of journals
from its history
a snow looking cloud
creates what I see.
Scenes so transfixing
as I look around
are a snow looking cloud
that right now looks down.

My Flashlight

The dark of night’s
not dark at all
as my flashlight
helps recall.
Lighting pathways
here and there
yes my flashlight
shines a glare.
No the darkness
cannot when
for my flashlight’s
never dim.
It shines brightly
in the night
with its little
beam of light.
There’s no shadows
that scare me,
for my flashlight
helps me see.

Haiku
for Mar 14, 2015

Without a moment
life has a very slim chance
for learning lessons.

When looking upwards
you might see a few snowflakes
or maybe some rain.

One that’s a liar
could find himself being caught
as truth is displayed.

Halfway to today
could find a few thoughts at night
filled with some regrets.

As the day finds end
many thoughts might come alive
asking some questions.

Nobody’s perfect
for we are all imperfect,
but perfect to God.

Looks of another
might not show their true colors.
Don’t be quick to judge.

Painting a picture
can be done with memories
found in a moment.

The depth of your heart
will display as time goes by
either shallow or deep.

Without some windows
there’s so much that we would miss
without stepping out.

Time can be funny
as it ticks on with laughter
and maybe some frowns.

A paper story
can be wadded up and burned,
so make it as heard.

Nearing tomorrow
finds episodes imagined
that may not come true.

Beyond a snowflake
is a wintery turnstile
filled with some breezes.

A brick laid fireplace
displays a chimney so high
with smoke flowing out.

Loss of a loved one
could create an empty void,
but God intervenes.

Finding a footprint
could disclose a good pathway
or maybe not so.

Life in misery
will often find you alone
if you whine too much.

Belief in others
can open a door to yourself
as you look beyond.

Pointless perception
might find you standing alone
because no one cares.

Love can be splendor
if it’s truly from the heart
and not just shallow.

Minutes show seconds
that many might overlook
due to the hours.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been another sort of eventful week around here.  Friday
we took our car and got the door fixed.  Judy was so thrilled
when she opened the driver side door with the handle like it
is supposed to be able to be opened LOL.  They washed our
car while they had it.  Of course that carwash didn’t last long
due to the weather up here hehehe.  It was snowing heavily
a little while ago.  Milo needed to go out and potty and when
Benny saw it snowing,  he came a running for the door wanting
to go out and play.  Milo came right back in when he was done,
but Benny wanted to stay out and play,  so I checked on him
a little later and through a little coaxing I was able to get him
to come back in,  but he was in no way ready to come back
in.  I didn’t want to leave him out there and get caught up on
my writing and him end up out there for an hour or so.  It’s
28 F degrees.  I know that’s not too cold,  but I don’t want
him to get sick.  Benny’s lying in a doggy bed right beside
me at this moment.  He’s sound asleep.  Milo was in here
sleeping,  but decided to hop up on our bed and sleep and
so that’s where he is right now.  It really hasn’t been too
exciting around here this passed week.  I guess the most
exciting thing was Judy’s youngest daughter brought her
son (our grandson) and he stayed here while Helena went to
work.  Christian said he wants to come back again hehehe.
He might be back again next Saturday.  It seems that he
enjoyed himself.  He played with many of my gadgets and
he goofed around on Judy’s PC.  We watched a few TV
programs as well.  Helena came and picked him up when
she got off of work last night and she visited for a little
while.  Judy took down our Christmas tree last night 🙂
She figured it was March and time for it to be put away.
I hope you remembered to change your clocks if you
happen to be in a place that they do that ignorant thing.
Yes,  I think it’s ignorant.  Just what do they think it’s
saving,  when not everybody does it?  I think that the
daylight savings time should be abolished from all of
the states.  It does no good as far as I can see other
than confuse peoples internal clocks hehehe.  There’s
not much use for it if you ask me.  Nope,  I say leave
the time alone.  It’s crazy enough as it is.  Oh yeah,
our neighbors next door moved.  Our landlord said he
has somebody moving in one of the front trailers soon,
so we’ll have neighbors again LOL.  It don’t matter
to me,  but I do enjoy having someone to talk to other
than Judy and the boys hehehe.  Being way out in the
boonies hinders the chance for making friends.  Oh
well,  I’ll survive.  I will miss Mark and Charlene a
little bit though.  There’s been a few neighbors that
I have gotten to know well and it hurt when they left.
I guess that’s part of life.  My right eye is getting
very weak now and I might have to pause for a bit
and rest it.  Being with only one good eye it puts a
lot of pressure on the one.  So,  I’ll be back in a bit.
I’m back.  I took about an hour nap to rest my eye
and it seems to be a little stronger now.  Actually
I just laid there with my eyes closed and listened to
music,  but it helped.  Benny is still sleeping in the
floor in here.  I had to move Milo over because he
was sleeping in my spot LOL.  Sleep’s not something
that I get in a great abundance nowadays due to a
number of health issues,  so I try to grab a wink or
two whenever I can.  It’s 6:30 and already getting
dark outside.  We might have a few days above
the freezing mark this week.  That’s gonna bring
about a bit of slush as some snow melts hehehehe.
It’s supposed to snow off and on throughout the
week so the snow shall be replenished without a
doubt.  I hope our landlord makes it over soon to
fix our front storm door.  It’s in a bad way and it’s
needing some TLC.  Our landlord was supposed
to come and fix it yesterday,  but maybe he will
show up tomorrow LOL.  We’ll survive I reckon!
It’s getting darker now.  By the time it’s 7 PM it’ll
be pitch black outside at this rate.  Milo needed
to go outside again and as usual, Benny wanted to
go outside too and so Milo is already back inside
and Benny,  well you know the story hehehe. I’ll
check on him in a bit.  I’m going to have to record
North Woods Law and Ax men tonight because I’m
sure Judy won’t be home in time to watch them 🙂
I may have to record a couple of other programs
if she’s running late tonight.  Life at the Pearce’s.
Not the most exciting world LOL!  I was surprised
that our grandson wanted to come back.  We are
kind of boring hehehe.  But,  he’s always welcome.
I wish my daughter and granddaughter could come
up,  but aside from finances,  Jayme’s daughter,
(our granddaughter) is not doing so well.  She was
born with Spinal Bifida and she’s had some real
bad infections.  She’s in Scottish Rite Hospital
in Dallas Texas right now.  Please send her your
prayers.  I’m sure my daughter Jamye could use
some prayers right now as she tries her best to
take care of Sami.  Poor little Sami has always
stayed strong through all of her health issues.
Sami’s 15 years old now and a strong little girl.
I love them and miss them both terribly,  but I
know God is always in control.  Now I’ve gotta
go and check on Benny.  I’ll be back.  I’m back.
Benny is in here now with me and Milo.  Ain’t we
exciting!????  LOL not much happens,  but we’re
content.  God has blessed our house with His love
and we can feel it.  We have our share of troubles,
but He always gives us a way to deal with them.
I’m sure you’re life is filled with a few problems
that you might view as enormous,  but to God they
are just turning points of our lives that if used in
the right way can make us stronger and wiser.  So
don’t view the problems as defeating,  but as some
building blocks of life.  With that said,  I believe
it’s time for me to begin my quest back through all
that I’ve written here,   to see if I can find a word
or phrase that I can use for the title for today’s
brand new poem.  And so it’s away I go to that lil
place of my recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  Though I do think I found
a good title just a few lines back and I see that it
has not be used yet,  by me of course and so then
it shall be used hehehe.   Here goes nothing.

Building Blocks Of Life

Times that we’ve trembled,
and found then some strife
they were just moments
building blocks of life
Doorways to troubles
with scenes we’ve exposed
building blocks of life
show our highs and lows.
Seemed as so warranted
reasons thought clear
building blocks of life
will surely appear.
Sometimes as patterns
a rhythm or two
building blocks of life
will come into view.
Often tomorrows
will mimic today
building blocks of life
to clear up the grey.
Don’t let your worries
to hold you in place
building blocks of life
are seasoned with Grace.
God and His Glory
are always at hand
building blocks of life
to help us withstand.
Truly confusions
real hard to derive
are with some answers
building blocks of life.
Then as the doorways
of yesterdays dawn
building blocks of life
will help us move on.

Ok,  there ya go.  I know,  it isn’t that great,  but I did
the best I could with that title hehehe.  So,  what else is
there to tell ya?  Well,  hmm,  It looks like I will be doing
some bouncing back and forth recording programs on the
TV in here and in the bedroom LOL.  I’ve got 3 different
channels to record with 2 of them at the same timeframe.
Hehehe what I do for that woman :).  Ain’t we exciting!
Benny and Milo are both in the floor sound asleep in their
beds.  Yep right behind and beside me.  They’re my little
guard dogs hehehe.  Nobodies gonna sneak in on me LOL.
Milo’s snoring now.  LOL,  he woke himself with his snore.
He sat up and looked at me and then laid back down and
went back to sleep.  As if it was me that snored and woke
him up hehehe.  Here’s another bit of info.  Judy’s sister
Barbara went to Australia a week or so ago and she took
tons of pictures.  I haven’t downloaded any YET,  but
I will.  Anyways,  she’s back in Maine now.  I’m guessing
she might have a tad bit of jet lag LOL.  I myself don’t
see myself flying anywhere anytime soon hehehe, but
I will most assuredly be taking more pictures of our
scenery here in Maine.  You never know what I might
take a picture of,  but during this time of the year,  you
can almost bank on it having snow in it hehehe.  Darn
it,  a program that wasn’t supposed to be until 9 o clock
came on at 8 and so I missed 5 minutes of its recording.
That’s what I mean about daylight savings time.  It
messes up everything.  TV broadcasts are all out of
place.  Oh well,  It’s recording now 🙂  Now,  is there
anything else that I have forgotten to tell ya?  Nope,
I can’t think of anything.  So I reckon it’s time for me
to be telling you what I tell you almost every week
and that is,  I that wrote some more poems and haiku.
Yeppers 10 more poems with one of them being sort
of Christmassy.  Also I wrote once agin 22 haiku for
all of my haiku lovers out there.  I hope you can find
one or two of either or both that you like.  Now,  it’s
time for me to begin my search for that not so elusive
off switch,  but not before I wish you a most wonderful
weekend or whatever is left of it and a truly blessings
filled week.  Remember,  Jesus loves you and we do
too.  Ok,  where are ya hiding at ya silly off switch?
Hopefully you’ve put more thought into your hiding
spot than you have in the past hehehe.  Oh for crying
out loud,  couldn’t you have at least ducked down a
little?  Standing right behind a clear bottle of eyedrops
does not conclude as hiding ya numbskull hehehehe.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny and Milo Pearce

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Twilight Solitude

Starlight shining
in the night
is mesmerizing
great twilight.
The solitude from
up above
shines as twilight
filled with love.
Twilight solitude
nights to share
gives us all a
breath of air.
If we would only
search to find
we would maybe then
see a sign.
Twinkling essence
we might see
is twilight solitude
God gave free.

Without Delay

Looking for good times
in every which way
might find you bad times
and without delay.
Don’t let your hurry to
take you off course
for without delay
can be hinder force.
Hindering choices
you thought out so well
without delay might
send you to Hell.
Sometimes it’s better to
think out your plan
before you set out to
see if you can.
Often your conscience
can teach you more true
what without delay might
cause you to do.

Through The Mist

As warm air rises
from the cold
a misty morning
I’ll behold.
Eyes with passion
looking out
through the mist
and all about.
Scenes becoming
such a sight
through the day
and through the night.
Through the mist
I see myself
as a shadow
on a shelf.
Loosely standing
God’s assist
my own shadow’s
through the mist.

Heartstrings

True emotions
come alive
as some heartstrings
that arrive.
Some so simple
as a smile
are the heartstrings
that compile.
Windows opened
letting in
times of heartstrings
to begin.
Each with patterns
gathered true
are the heartstrings
me and you.
Found so simply
faraway
our own heartstrings
live today.

A Room of Thoughts

A place where thinking
comes alive
is the place where
times survive.
A room of thoughts
with inner sights
of Decembers
Christmas lights.
The thoughts are found
as moments scenes
some as great
as living dreams.
Beyond our eyesight
thereunto
the thoughts I think
might just come true
Christmas moments
are never lost
deep within
a room of thoughts.

The Great Thaw

Winters ending
might now seem
as but only
just a dream.
The great thaw
of wintertime
might be seen
in late springtime.
All the snow
that’s now in place
my then thaw
as rivers race.
Every snowflake
that has landed
soon will be what
has disbanded.
Melting snowflakes
that did fall
will soon be as
the great thaw.

Looking Down

Looking up
and looking down
might not show
what’s all around.
Looking left
and looking right
might still lose
what’s plain in sight.
Many seeking
searching true
might look up
and not at You.
Yet God’s answers
are right there
maybe as
a breath of air.
Sometimes people
will just frown
as they’re always
looking down.
Raise your head up
and see true.
Find what Lord God
has for you.
Looking down might
just give way
to another
dismal day.

A Snow White Canvas

As seasons are turning
and changes are made
a snow white canvas
is Heavenly laid.
Painted with brushstrokes
of angels divine
the canvas of white is
found wintertime.
A snow white canvas
of chilling detail
is helped with the winds
and snowflakes set sail.
The canvas that’s painted
becomes a page
turned as a book read
found center stage.
A snow white canvas
displays its hue
found within winter
as dreams come true.

Inner Light

With our feelings
inner light
we might find
a better sight.
Deep within us
blessings grow
inner light
to daily show.
Yet so many
look away
from their inner
light each day.
Them not seeing
what is there
inner light
that comes from prayer.
Let your heartbeat
find what’s right
from God’s truth
The Inner Light.

Haiku
for Mar 6,  2015

Looking within you
there might be your reflection
seeking to know you.

Our lost perceptions
could be the problems in life
that hinder our growth.

Morning brings doorways
that open and close with time
to change our choices.

Continued lying
could become a bad tumor
that loses your friends.

Life in a storm cloud
might seem as a lonely one,
but others are there.

Ones misconceptions
could destroy what’s possible
and end in despair.

Looking for a friend
needs you first to become one
and friends will be found.

Portions of a dream
might seem as reality,
but do not be fooled.

Waking to nightmares
could be caused by decisions
that you have allowed.

Torment of snowflakes
is often that of a hater
of the wintertime.

The leaves of springtime
come alive as the snow melts
leaving pure waters.

Lessons from others
might not stay with us as long
as mistakes we’ve made.

One’s we thought smarter
might not be so smart at all
without common sense.

Pointing at others
does not remove your own place,
as ones point at you.

Painting with passion
needs true pallets of Jesus
within the brushstrokes.

Lumbering footsteps
leave a clear trail to follow
that’s in no hurry.

Wisdom of a mind
comes to be with history,
lessons discovered.

Pointless is a lie
for it does not live with truth
and it soon will die.

Snow falling from trees
makes a thud upon the ground
soon followed be more.

Misery gathered
is a fly on flypaper
joined with a few more.

Today offers hope
for a new you to be born
from your passed lessons.

A song in the heart
can become a sweet chorus
if God is The Words.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

I hope your passed week has been well and your weekend
has not been too stressful.  Judy and I have been doing OK.
Benny and Milo are being ornery as ever LOL.  Milo had to
go to the vet Friday and get his shots.  Now he is up to date
the same as Benny.  The weather has seemed to of calmed
down a little bit up here.  Right now it’s 28 F degrees,  but
this morning it was –8 F degrees.  That’s still not too awful
bad.  The snowing has calmed down for the moment.  I don’t
see much snow for the next few days.  Just a few inches or
so tonight through Monday morning and maybe a little bit
Tuesday night through Wednesday morning.  Time will tell!
Yeppers,  the old snowmaker is taking a breather or so it
seems.  We still have tons of that white stuff outside and
every time we look outside without sunshades we go snow
blind.  Yep,  that’s quite a mirror out there hehehe.  Mister
Sun shines brightly on it 🙂  Even the moon makes night like
day as it’s light is reflected off of the snow.  On a clear night
who needs a porch light?  Not us hehehe!  We do have to
watch our step as we walk down the steps,  because there
is often ice on them.  especially at the bottom of the steps
where the snow has refroze and turned to ice.  I know :),
you’re saying isn’t snow already ice?  Yes it is,  but in its
snow based flake form,  it isn’t slick to walk on,  but when
it has melted slightly due to the sunlight and then refroze
it becomes that old slick and slippery ice that causes ones
to slip and slide and fall on their butts like I’ve done a few
times hehehe.  I was walking Milo outside the vets office
so he could go potty and he led me to a place that didn’t
look that bad,  but when my feet landed on it I found out
that it was no longer just snow,  but a thin sheet of ice and
my feet went sliding causing me to fall and land flat on my
backside LOL OUCH.  I’m OK,  it’s not the first time that
I have done that.  I might of been wearing my cleats if we
had been at home,  but cleats are real hard on floor mats
so I don’t wear them in the car.  Also if I had been aware
of that slick spot I would have stayed in the snow hehehe.
He apparently did not need to potty.  He was just wanting
to explore.  We were done at the vet and were ready to
head home.  He was just scratching at the car door and
all like he needed to go potty,  but nope.  Just wanted to
look around and watch daddy fall on his butt hehehehe.
Benny and Milo are lying in the floor next to me sound
asleep.  Judy is over at her sister’s house as she is almost
every Sunday taking care of her mom while Judy’s sister
Trudy goes to work.  It actually makes it easy for me to
do my writing hehehe.  When she’s home,  Milo begins
barking at her for treats.  LOL he knows he’ll get yelled
at if he does that to me especially when I am busy,  but
he knows mom will give in and give them both a treat :).
I will if I’m not busy at the moment,  otherwise they will
just have to wait.  They’re good boys, when they want to
be ;).  Ok next topic.  It looks like we will be able to get
our car fixed this month,  of course,  that’s if they don’t
all of the sudden say that it will cost more than they had
estimated.  Then again it will have to wait,  but we are
hoping that we can finally get the driver side door fixed
where we don’t have to open it from the inside hehehe.
That is such a pain.  Yep,  it will be nice to get that fixed.
So what else is there to yammer about?  It looks like it
could snow at any moment.  I do love to watch it snow 🙂
It gives me a calming sensation of course unless it’s a
blizzard and I’m having to walk to the mailbox in it LOL.
Then it is a blinding sort of stinging sensation hehehehe.
Gotta check the mail,  because who knows,  the mailbox
might be plowed under by a snowplow and I might not
be able to get to it if I wait hehehe.  The wonderful life
of Northern Maine 🙂  Yes there are a few struggles to
go through,  but then anywhere you live there are a few
things that you might not want to deal with.  I learned
through my dads guidance how to look for the blessings.
Anywhere you go,  you can find problems,  but if you
look with better eyes you can also find the moments
that make it all worth while.  I love the snow and I love
to watch the plants come alive when winter has finally
ended.  I also love to watch the fall colors become as
a painting from God filled with His dazzles.  With each
season comes more blessings to find.  Sometimes we
might miss them due to a dark cloud overhead that is
then your only perception.  Look passed the problems
and find the joy that is so often mistaken for a passing
day.  My daddy always told me that if things are not
going my way then go look in the mirror and find the
reason and change it.  Often it’s just the way that we
are viewing a moment and not the moment in itself.
If you see a dark cloud,  then look for the rainbow.
It might be right in front of your face.  Many have
health issues and there is always someone that has
worse problems than you,  but they are making it.
Find the joy within a blue sky or a snowflake falling.
Look beyond the clouds of grey and find the silver
lining.  Sometimes all you need to do is look in the
mirror and smile.  When you see yourself smiling
back in the mirror it might spawn a real true smile.
Learn to love yourself.  If you don’t love yourself,
how can you expect others to truly love you?  I will
often stand in front of the mirror and say to myself,
get over it,  yes you have problems,  but you’re not
alone.  I can often hear  my daddy’s words echoing
back at me saying Bill,  home can be anywhere you
might be at the moment,  so be happy where you
are.  Welcome Home!   Yep,  my dad gave me a lot
of great advice.  🙂 He might of thought I wasn’t
listening,  but I heard him Loud and Clear hehehe.
I miss my dad,  but I talk to him always and I can
often hear his voice talking to me.  Thank You
God for allowing me to be raised in a home blessed
with a Christian mom,  dad and sister that became
more than a family.  We became friends.  So now
I believe it’s time for me to be taking my little
venture back through I that I’ve written here to
see if I can find a good word or phrase that I can
use for the title for today’s brand new poem and
so I am off.  Headed back hunting through all of
my recollections.  It’s away to that place that I
always like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think
I found a decent title as I strolled about halfway
back through all my rambling.  Now after checking
to see if it has been used or not,  I find that it has
not been used,  so now it shall be used.  Here goes!

Filled With His Dazzles

When life’s with burdens
worn to mere frazzles
it can be better when
filled with His dazzles.
The stars up above us
that twinkle and shine
can turn a moment
from water to wine.
Filled with His dazzles
as each moments seen
God can turn nightmares
into a great dream.
Losing what’s worried
in prayer driven whiles
can turn your frowning
into greater smiles.
Filled with His dazzles
are times we’ve forgotten
that are the moments then
seemed as just rotten.
Yet all the bad times
of yesterdays page
might make today now
shine on the stage.
For as compared to
passed days of frazzles
we can see better then
filled with His dazzles.

There ya go.  Ok,  you might not of understood the poem,
but I hope you at least enjoyed my rambling and had a clue
of what I was talking about LOL.  It was so nice and quiet
in here,  but Benny just broke the silence when he heard
a truck and he began barking at it as he ran for the front
door :).  Hey,  he’s a dog,  dogs bark.  If he could talk I’m
pretty sure he would be saying,  “I heard a truck. Did you
hear the truck?  I heard its motor.  Did you hear its motor?
Hey dad,  did you hear the truck?  Come and look and see
if it is coming here.  Dad,  did you hear the truck,  etc etc”?
LOL,  I’m not sure I want him to be able to talk hehehehe.
He might have things to say that right now he can see that
makes no sense to us through his barking so he only barks
when he thinks we really need to look LOL.  Milo barks on
mostly just 4 occasions.  1- when he needs to go out and
potty.  2- when he is ready to come back inside.  3- when
he wants a treat or food.  4- when he thinks Benny is onto
something and he joins in barking with him.  That about
covers it hehehe.  Benny barks at Milo to get him to play
with him :).  It’s a strange place here at the Pearce’s place,
but we love it.  Both of the boys are once again lying in
the floor right behind and beside me.  I’m surrounded 🙂
Milo drags his bed around the room most times to get
closer to either Judy or I and often to get closer to Benny.
I thank God for giving them to us and filling our home
with joy.  I guess it’s time for me to tell you what I tell
you almost every week and that is,  I wrote some more
poems and haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more poems and 22 more
haiku for all of my haiku lovers out there.  Now I believe
it’s time for me to begin my search for that not so great
at hiding off switch,  but not before I wish you a most
wonderful and blessed weekend or whatever is left of
it and a truly blessings filled week. Remember,  Jesus
loves you and we do too.  Now,  where’s that freaken
off switch hiding this week?  Ok,  I think I see ya in
the floor right behind my Cheetos.  I might not of seen
ya if you hadn’t of been trying to sneak some out of
the bag :).  Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny and Milo Pearce

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

The Hermit

One stands in sands
of timeless days
the hermit is found
in so many ways.
Maybe not clearly
as ones would surmise
the hermit stands
in sands they devise.
They might be there
right in front of you
the lonely one
you thought you knew.
Their footprints made
might hide away
what the hermit
might or may.
A solitary man
or woman of time
might be the hermit
inside of their mind.
Even amongst others
they might stand alone
this person of time
that many thought known.

Faces Of Home

Doorways we’ve entered
and hung up our hat
turned into home
with a warm welcome mat.
Faces of home then
began a phase
stories well written
for upcoming days.
Seasons found changing
are what that are seen
in faces of home with
a nightmare and dream.
Often the days will
disclose certain views
in faces of home that
have worn out shoes.
Even the doorways
that ones will begin
the faces of home will
welcome them in.
It is inside us
where home does reside
with faces of home
where we walk inside.
Hanging our hat up
and coat that we wear
faces of home can
be anywhere.

Canopy Of Stars

The sky of the nighttime
with Venus and Mars
is filled so full of
a canopy of stars.
The worlds relations
to this greatest sight
is that of a painting
that’s found in the night.
A canopy of Stars
that twinkles thereunto
is found each clear night
as a wonderful view.
A painting that’s painted
by magical hands
that’s of God’s artwork
that surely withstands.
The times everlasting
that we’ve always known
is a canopy of stars
some see all alone.
Some look up at night
and find their own place
smiling from the Heavens
right down on their face.
For even loneliness
Venus and Mars
gives ones some comfort from
a canopy of stars.

A Winter’s Morning

With cold winds blowing
beginning each day
a winter’s morning is
every which way.
The sun arises
with a seasonal hue
as a winter’s morning
with a sky maybe blue.
Maybe some clouds will
form in the sky
of a winter’s morning
with snowflakes to fly.
White flakes of winter
then fall to the ground
of a winter’s morning
by dawn to be found.
Seasonal pages then
turn oh so fine
of a winter’s morning
with greater design.

Sapphire Days

A sky of blues
or maybe greys
might disclose
some bright sunrays.
The stage that’s seen
morning to night
could become
a wonderful sight.
With sapphire days
and bluish skies
we might be found
with how’s and why’s.
Some illusions
might be seen
in the clouds
a submarine.
Sapphire days
of blue details
within the clouds
a ship with sails.
All the changes
of which amaze
are found within
those sapphire days.

A Glistening Lake

A scene that I’m seeing
that my eyes partake
might be some ice
on a glistening lake.
Reflecting as echoes
more than just twice
a glistening lake
is patterned with ice.
When the sun’s shining
on its wondrous view
the lake then becomes
a glistening hue.
Acting like a mirror
of waters that shine
the lake is then found
as an ice driven shrine.
Holding within it
some waters awake
is a wintertime scene
of a glistening lake.

Spirit Of Trees

Some winds found blowing
might seem as the seas
within the forest
of a spirit of trees.
Waving their branches
as the wind blows
the spirit of trees
just grows and grows.
They show their directions
of every which way
the wind that’s blowing
of now and today.
The spirit of trees
is found day and night
relaying status
of each ways delight.
They seem to tell us
the words oh so clear
as spirit of trees
of our yesteryear.
Look deep within them
and search for some words
in the spirit of trees
for the flutter of birds.
You’ll then awaken
to see in the breeze
the true life that lives
in the spirit of trees.

A Touch Without Touch

Living in a world
a touch without touch
seeking to find things
maybe not much.
Touching with our eyes,
but our fingers don’t know
a touch without touch
of how things bestow.
Life in a bubble
without any feeling
brings ones a sky
with a low ceiling.
Looking for passion
without getting near
could become lonely
and not so sincere.
Painting a picture
of not very much
is what that happens
a touch without touch.

Beyond The Lakes

Way beyond
the view I see
is a sight
for you and me.
Beyond the lakes
of fields of dreams
we might find
so many things.
A magical place
of here and there
might come alive
most everywhere.
Beyond the lakes
of our own sights
the stars might shine
in distant nights.
The memories
of give and takes
might find good
beyond the lakes.
Worthwhile scenes
of which we find
beyond the lakes
might then unwind.
Way beyond
the things we see
might be better
things to be.

A Frozen Pond

Tomorrows story
found at dawn
might just be
a frozen pond.
A story told
in winter’s way
a frozen pond
might then display.
The seasons winds
will blow across
a frozen pond
of movement loss.
The depth of time
of waters wave
a frozen pond
does not display.
It only shows
an icy glance
where someone
can sing and dance.

Haiku
for Feb 28,  2015

When some storms blow in
let the lessons of the past
show peace in the clouds.

Life is a journey
that we all might stumble on
as many mistakes.

Legions of shadows
follow us from yesterdays
that we’ve forgotten.

The depth of oceans
holds our imaginations
and some might be real.

Looking deep in time
you might see yourself standing
amidst some quicksand.

Lowering standards
could cost your integrity
and lose who you are.

Truthful awakens
when lying has met its match
and you are exposed.

Living in a dream
could become as a nightmare
when you awaken.

If now is denied
it can become good or bad.
It depends on truth.

Seeking tomorrow
might display a few roadblocks,
but vanish when there.

Acting like a fool
might become what some perceive
as who that you are.

Dreaming of summer
shouldn’t lose track of today
and what to enjoy.

Paying someone back
for an ill deed that they’ve done
might come back on you.

Allowing a moment
to be all that you can be
could cause you to sink.

Journeys of many
becomes as footsteps followed
repeating mistakes.

Morning comes shining
even if there are some clouds
hiding the sunshine.

As time moves onwards
it leaves pieces of itself
within our shadows.

Another’s wisdom
might seem as stupidity
as you’re viewing it.

Having and holding
could one day need letting go
to have once again.

More than yesterday
are the things that we have learned
and grown much wiser.

A tiny anthill
has many ants inside it
working together.

Life is a pathway
that we choose our right and wrong
while seeing results.
