ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been a sort of spring looking passed few days with all
of the snow slowly melting away. We’ve been getting a lot
of rain to replace the snow as usual LOL. It’s 51 F degrees
right now at 2:40 PM. Not too awful bad. Although we’re
still having a few 30 degree nights ever so often, but that’s
not too bad. The river ice has finally broken up and isn’t
causing floods as it was a week or so ago. Yeppers, it’s
beginning to look a lot like springtime, but so far, there
aren’t any green leaves sprouting. Nope only buds, but
I’m sure that in just a matter of days there will be green
leaves on the trees. Of course we do have our evergreen
trees that are always green LOL. So what else is there
to yammer about hehehe? Judy is home with me today 🙂
Her sister quit her job at Walmart to stay home and take
care of her mom. Judy will go over there ever so often to
give them a break so Trudy and Dennis can get out of the
house together and do something. But for now, Judy is
no longer going over there on Sundays to watch her mom.
Benny and Milo were sort of confused. They had gotten
used to her leaving like clock work every Sunday. I’m sure
they’ll get used to her being home hehehe. It looks like we
might get some more rain today and the next few days 🙂
We’ve got our little lake in front of our home as we always
do every year. One year our neighbors kids got their dads
canoe and rowed back and forth in our little lake hehehe.
I think it was June 27 2012. Benny had a blast watching
the kids and even getting in the middle of things out in
the water with me hehehe. It was a few months before
we got Milo. Though I’m fairly sure that Milo would of
just sat on the sidelines and watched until he was ready
to go back inside. He might of surprised us and went
splashing in, but we will never know, because all those
kids have since moved away. Both families have moved
and now we have some new neighbors, but they seem to
be much older than Judy and I. More like the age of my
mom or thereabouts. Anyways, Benny and Milo enjoy
each others company and they both love to be around us.
LOL ya can’t pet one without petting the other and the
same goes for holding one of them hehehe. It’s getting
a little cooler outside. Right now it’s 48 F degrees and
dropping. Yep, this is our spring. It’s supposed to start
getting a little warmer by next week. We shall see LOL.
For now the temperature will be bouncing up and down
as it does each year at this time from the 30’s to the 50’s.
Judy is behind me writing a Sci-fi story on her PC. She’s
a great writer. I love her two books that she wrote a
while back. Yes, we are both writers. I just prefer to
not go through the hassle of trying to find which poems
to put in the book and having to edit them all hehehe.
I’ll stick with this manner of publishing for now. Maybe
one day I’ll get a hold of the publishing agency and
go through my poems and start editing, but not any
time soon LOL. My friend Ben Geurts in Holland
bought the website that I use to publish my journal
on and he also publishes my Christmas poetry on his
Old Fashioned Christmas site. Oh yea, my friend
in New York has my Christmas poems recited on
his yearly Public Access TV Christmas broadcast.
I think I’m fine for now. LOL enough about me 🙂
Milo is lying in the floor enjoying having his mom
home with us. Benny though is back at his station
upon the watch tower recliner in the living room LOL.
It seems that our neighbors have their grandson
living with them and he apparently loves to race
his engine. Benny starts barking at him every time
he starts revving his motor hehehe. It don’t bother
me none being I will be outside this summer with
my conga drums recording hehehe. Payback time 🙂
LOL our previous neighbors enjoyed my conga
playing. As a matter of fact they would often come
over and watch and listen. They might also. Who
knows! First we’ll see how long they hang around.
They might not even last till summer. We have
had a few neighbors come and go lasting only a
few months. Our landlord isn’t the greatest. He
does tend to let things go from time to time LOL.
Oh well, life goes on. There are worse things to
bicker about hehehe. I just went and got Judy
and I some cookies to munch on. Now I’ve got
crumbs in my keyboard hehehe. They’ll shake
out 🙂 This keyboard is waterproof and it looks
like it’s crumb proof too 🙂 I have yet to of heard
from my computer friends in Texas about my PC.
They might not of gotten a chance to look at it
yet. Century Computer does stay rather busy.
Anyways, I’m sure Ron and Mandy will get to
it when they can and hopefully be able to fix it.
I had already purchased a few programs and all
on it that will only work on Windows 8. Not that
Windows 8 was worth a darn hehehe, but I was
making do with it as best that I could. Now I
hear they are coming out with Windows 10 that
is supposed to work a lot better than Windows 8.
It wouldn’t take much hehehe. As I had only had
the Windows 8 for a year or so before it died LOL.
It kept shutting down for no good reason and
it’s Windows Live email would retrieve my email
even though I had it set to NOT retrieve it LOL.
The Windows Live mail would also not let me use
my grouped emails as my Outlooks Express does.
If I were to use Windows live to send my article
I would have to send them all ONE AT A TIME.
That would take me till Christmas to just send
one freaking weekly journal hehehe. No matter,
I’ll survive. We’ll survive. Judy, I and the boys
are always with The Hand of God watching over
us. God put this family together and I’m sure He
will always make sure that we have all that we
need. We might want more, but our needs will
be met as they have been. Thank You God for
always being there for us and not turning a deaf
ear to my squabbles. Your Son Jesus Christ
gets an ear full from time to time as pressures
of life come upon us, but He stays and listens
and gives strength and tools to move forward.
I reckon it’s time for me to begin my little quest
back through all that I’ve written here to see if
I can find a good word or phrase that I can use
for the title for today’s brand new poem and so
it’s away I go to that place of my recollection
that I always like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.
It looks like I may have found a decent title and
now after checking I see that I have not used it
as of yet, but used it shall be today Mwahahaha.
Here goes 🙂

My Squabbles

Bickering moments
a squabble or two
become a mountain
found in our view.
My squabbles daily
are not oh so large
that I can’t let God
to have and take charge.
Often our portions
of daily desires
become as squabbles
that turn into fires.
Burning up pathways
bringing on cue
bickering moments
a squabble or two.
So now I’ve learn how
to give God control
some of my squabbles
that times paid its toll.
Yet I know surely
that I will still find
times with my squabbles
that are with mankind.
For I am human
and still make mistakes,
but through my squabbles
learn it’s give and take.
Letting God help me
with now and agin
through all my squabbles
to let Jesus in.

So there ya go. Did my rambling bore ya to tears LOL?
I hope not. Also I hope you enjoyed the poem and maybe
even understood it hehehe. Life is a mystery and so is
my writing 🙂 Ya never know what I will write about next.
I do have my silly modes ya know. But of course this
poem was not one of them. Milo is up and getting a drink
of water. LOL next he will be knocking at the door with
his paw saying he’s gotta go pee hehehehe. Go figure 🙂
Judy went to let him out for me. It’s great to have her
home today to help me. It’s often hard to get anything
written when the boys are up and around hehehehehe.
It’s 5 PM now and as soon as I get done here I might
fix Judy and I something to eat. I’ll fix the boys their
food later as I do every day. I still have a burger in
the fridge. I might see if Judy wants half of it, because
I can’t eat a whole burger. If she don’t want it, I’ll just
do as I did yesterday and put half of it back in the fridge
and see what she would want instead. Did I mention
that I love having Judy home with me today hehehehe?
If not, I love having her home with me today. It does
seem a little weird, being me and the boys had sort of
gotten used to her leaving every Sunday to go to her
sister’s house. 🙂 We can get used to her being home.
There’s not any new news about Judy’s Brother Ricky.
I will keep you up to date as I find out more. For now
he is still in the Bangor Hospital. So now I reckon it’s
time for me to be telling you what I tell you almost
every week and that is I wrote some more poems and
haiku. Yep, 10 more poems with one of them being
sort of Christmassy. Also I once again wrote 22 more
haiku for all of my haiku lovers out there. I hope you
can find one or two of either or both that you like 🙂
So now I think it’s time for me to begin my search for
that freaken not so elusive off switch, but not before
I wish you a most wonderful weekend or whatever’s left
of it and a blessings filled week. Remember, Jesus
loves you and we do too. Now where’s that ornery
off switch trying to hide this week. Oooh, getting
good are we hehehe! Hiding on the face of my watch
trying to act like the hour hand might of worked if you
were on the correct hour LOL. It’s not 6:15 PM 🙂
It’s 5:15 PM ya silly hehehehehehehehehehehehe
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill, Judy, Benny and Milo Pearce

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

The Lighthouse

A seashore so rocky
makes many ships sink
without a lighthouse
to glow in the brink.
Seen in the darkness
of oceans of time
is then the lighthouse
with its awesome shine.
Yet by the daylight
the lighthouse is found
standing so firmly
just looking around.
The lighthouse keeper
that lives in its walls
lights up its candle
for nights oceans calls.
Keeping glass polished
for its brightly shine
to be the lighthouse
with its warning sign.

Imaginary Times

Sometimes our thinking
might need to imagine
times that we’re in an
alternate region.
Moments of sadness
that come with a frown
imaginary times can
turn them around.
For sometimes thinking
too seriously
can become problems
for you and for me.
Imaginary times
of momentous smiles
can sometimes help you
through troublesome aisles.
Yet there are moments
that need real designs
so don’t just live in
imaginary times.

The Dance of Stars

A night of darkness
brings stars alive
along with the moonlights
own sort of jive.
The dance of stars
will twinkle and shine
within the night sky
of time after time.
Dance moves of rhythms
that are so faraway
within the constellation
of the Milky Way.
The stars will twinkle
and shine all night
giving our night sky
some beautiful light.
Yet there are planets
as Venus and Mars
that also join in
with the dance of stars.

Looking For Style

Searching through closets
of lifetimes of while
many are just then
looking for style.
Not seeing truthful
the depth of there gaze
they might find nightmares
style of the days.
Looking for style
without seeing true
could corrupt everything
you say and do.
Sometimes that style
that you’re found seeking
is but a time frames
mistaken critiquing.
For it’s the person
the truth does compile
that is the best then
looking for style.

A Cry In The Night

As the winds blow
they make many sounds
a cry in the night
that somehow astounds.
It whispers some stories
beyond every sight
that are what’s heard as
a cry in the night.
Sometimes when blowing
the winds are announcing
branches and leaves seen
surely found bouncing.
The clouds passing quickly
on a starry night ride
join with their story
as cries coincide.
A cry in the night
of winds blowing tune
tells ones the tale
in the light of the moon.

Stories Of Christmas

The beginning of Christmas
so many will hear
stories one’s made up
year after year.
Many tell the story
of their own charade
stories of Christmas
that only degrade.
Stories of Christmas
need to hold true
the life of Lord Jesus
God sent me and you.
Many misconceptions
bring forth discontent
making ones Christmases
found as Hell bent.
The truth is that Jesus
was sent as our savior
from God The Father
that day in a manger.
As Virgin Mary birthed
The King of each king
stories of Christmas
are as angels sing.
Glory hallelujah
the stories foretold
stories of Christmas
from now unto old.
Life continues on
as the stories are read
to Christmas children
as they go to bed.
Stories of our Savior
and how He gave true
a way into Heaven
for me and for you.

Angels Of Dawn

Night brings us dreamland
as time moves along
then minutes tick on
for angels of dawn,
Angels found watching
and guiding us too
as dawns arrival
comes into our view.
The angels still guard us
as nighttime displays,
but they are busier
the light of the day.
As we go marching
within our own stride
angels of dawn then
go for the ride.
Watching and waiting
to do what they can
to help us to do what
that is of God’s plan.

Aqua Blue

My memories
of times other day
are of an island
so faraway.
The oceans waves
came rolling in
with aqua blue
of where we’d been.
Scenes remembered
found in the sand
beside aqua blue
with us hand in hand.
The minutes move on
as tides crash ashore
aqua blue thoughts
of then evermore.
Now only pictures
of that wondrous view
display remembrance
of that aqua blue.
The tides of time
are leaving a trail
found with us walking
an islands detail.
Each scenes arrival
live as memories
with aqua blue settings
of island view seas.

To Judy Pearce
From Bill Pearce

Frolicking Waters

Children splashing around
frolicking fun
as rain is falling down
when it’s begun.
Frolicking waters of
my own premise
I can remember now
under the skies.
Clouds of so fluffy white
frolic their view
down to Earth surely then
waters of blue.
Each scenic memory
comes as a page
frolicking waters of
rainwater’s stage.
I can remember now
times long ago
frolicking waters that
I used to know.
My childhood memories
frolicking around
in the rainwater
that’s found on the ground.

Chasing Shadows

When the day starts
and sunshine is found
I’m chasing shadows
I’ve found on the ground.
Maybe my own then
or maybe might not
I’m chasing shadows
that I once have sought.
Sometimes those shadows
are just but a phase
of my perception
of my future days.
Yet many shadows
that I sometimes chase
leave me confusion
that’s found on my face.
For many shadows
are just but a time
maybe just a minute
of a moments design.
Each minute’s changing
with momentous flows
leaving me sometimes just
chasing shadows.

Haiku
for Apr 25, 2015

Designing a heart
needs understanding its beat
and how that it bleeds.

Amidst perfection
lies misinterpretation
of what that is perfect.

Arms length of true love
brings forth many emotions
that are often want.

Lost in a forest
one might find the moss growing
to show them the way.

Allowing sadness
to thrive and lose happiness
is a choice we make.

Grandeur delusions
are often ones perception
of how good they are.

Atop a mountain
one might hear their own echo
if they yell real loud.

The fortress of time
builds its walls in our actions
either good or bad.

Glimmers of sunlight
come peeking through the tree line
to welcome the day.

While ignorance thrives
the lessons are still growing
showing right from wrong.

The meat of a lie
displays the unstable ground
that one day shows truth.

Beneath our footsteps
could be footprints of others
that we might not see.

Being positive
still gives way for being wrong,
because things will change.

Mining a moment
needs the tools of memories
to be of the best.

Leaves of spring grow
making trees to become green
to welcome more life.

The birds chirp outside
telling their tales of springtime
and how they love it.

Discerning passion
needs a correct assessment
or you could be hurt.

The rains of springtime
will land and become rivers
or soak in the ground.

Seasonal daydreams
come as passed days emotions
that now doesn’t show.

In heartbreak hotel
there lives a choice to move on
or to just stay there.

Now is a second
that soon will be a minute
that you might wish back.

Sleepless brings havoc
as the mind loses its grip
and creates wrong thoughts.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

I hope you’re having a great life or as best to be
expected. Judy and I are doing well although her
younger brother is not doing so well. He is in the
hospital now with many health issues, but it looks
as though he will be OK God willing. He might be
put in the nursing home, but there’s worse things
to be put in like the grave. So now it’s on with my
journal. This passed week has been a somewhat
spring looking one or at least for up here it is LOL.
Yes, there is still some snow on the ground, but
it’s melting away slowly. I’ve taken a few pictures
of it in its melting progression LOL. Yep, we even
have a nonwhite driveway now hehehe. I’ve been
making jokes to Judy telling her to not back into
the snowbank 🙂 We get a good laugh at that as
the only snowbank left beside our driveway isn’t
but maybe an inch high hehehe and after today
it might be gone. There’s still a lot of snow in
the tree line beside our place. I’m seeing a few
buds sprouting on the trees, but as of yet there
are no leaves. My mind is somehow still locked
on wintertime, being I can still see snow hehehe.
You would think that I have been up here long
enough to realize that this is our springtime LOL.
I still have a vision of spring and summer back
in Texas. The vision is HOT and I don’t miss it,
but I do miss seeing spring come alive and all of
that. Of course right now, Texas along with a
few other states along with California are dealing
with drought conditions. I think California is
having the worst time of all. In any sense, it’s
still raining up here as normal. When the snow
ends the rain begins hehehe. We’ve got flood
warnings at the Aroostoock River in Northern
Maine. The river continues to be impacted by
two ice jams near the river gage. Although a
gradual downward trend has been seen since
this morning, sudden fluctuations in river levels
are possible through this evening until the ice is
completely flushed out. Yep, when the snow
starts melting, it sends tons of water down to
low lying areas. Fortunately, we’re not in a
low lying area. We’re actually on high ground.
The river beneath us would have to really get
walloped by over three times the snow we got
this winter before it would reach us :). Maybe
not three times, but a whole lot more than we
normally get and we got a lot of snow this winter.
I don’t think we got as much as we got back in
2008. My first winter in Maine we had a ton
of snow. A record breaking snowfall for Maine
or at least that’s what I was told. In any sense,
it was more snow than I had ever seen aside
from my trip to the Colorado Mountains with
the Russell Memorial Methodist choir in Wills
Point Texas that I sang in when we were on tour
back in my younger years. Well I just looked at
my weather program and it says it’s supposed
to rain most of the week beginning tomorrow
evening. YEAH!!!! Not really yeah, but it’s
not up to me, so why get uptight about it LOL!
I’m doing laundry as I write. I’ve already got
one load in the dryer and waiting for it to be
ready to take out and then another load in the
washing machine waiting for the dryer. I have
one load to go. The towels are next to go in
the washer :). After I get done here with my
writing, I’ll be folding clothes. YEAH!!!!!!!
and not really yeah again, but it’s gotta get
done and I want to have it all done before my
honeypie gets home from her sisters house.
I’m sure she will be tired from taking care of
her mom and we are both needing some clean
clothes. I might do a small load later if I find
a few things I missed that need washing, but
for the most part it will be done. Next, I might
attack the dishes, if of course I have time to
do them after writing this and folding clothes.
I try not to just sit around the house. That’s
why I will often go outside and take pictures.
I’m trying to keep this old body moving LOL.
I can remember when I was in the hospital
for my Ulcerative Colitis and Crohns which
caused me to lose my colon and a third of my
small intestines. I was really weak from not
walking and it took me a long time to recover
although I never fully recovered. I have a
hellacious scar on my stomach. Yeppers
this old body has been through the ringer :),
but it’s still managing to get me around and
I’m thankful for that, even if it hurts like you
know what most of the time LOL. So off of
what ails me and onto another topic hehehe.
Right now it’s 50 F degrees and sunny with a
few clouds floating in the sky. Tomorrow is
supposed to start out sunny, but then have
a few clouds come to visit and pour down
some rain on us later around the midnight
hours. Thank You God for keeping us under
Your Grace and Love. We are oh so very
thankful for all that You have done for us as
we’ve experienced each day anew with the
blessings that You have given us. I think we
will all often lose sight of what we’re needing
and what we’re wanting. Many times with
our carnal minds we will get them confused.
Let God help you with your choices in life
and maybe just maybe you won’t be so bent
out of shape so often. Yes, we will have
our share of problems which at times might
reflect as someone else’s problems, but we
have God to go to and give it to Him and He
will give you strength to make it through it.
Now, I believe it’s time for me to be taking
my little journey back through all that I’ve
written here to see if I can find a good word
or phrase that I can use for the title for today’s
brand new poem. Hehehe first I had to stop
and fold clothes and put the last load in the
washer. It’s done and so off to that place of
my recollection that I seem to always like
to call RECOLLECT VILLE. I think I’ve
found a decent title to use and it looks like
I may have not used this one. Maybe one
similar, but not the same. So here goes 🙂

Our Share

Today brings our stages
of timeless arrivals
that is our share with
some new ways survivals.
Changing of moments
from morning to night
our share of troubles
might seem as not right.
Yet we have our share
of things we go through
that to some others
might seem as so few.
It is the owner of
daily times stages
that sees the story then
all through their ages.
Yet to another then
they might just see
our share of problems
the smallest degree.
Let God to help you
with your daily fare,
for He knows better
what’s truly our share.

Okie dokie, there ya go. I hope you enjoyed my
rambling and you understood the poem. I really
never know if it will make any sense to anybody
but me, but I hope it does. I hear the washer on
its last cycle. Of course I’ll have to wait for the
clothes in the dryer to get done, before I can put
the last load in. So I have time to finish this and
maybe even edit it. There’s not much else to tell
you that I haven’t already mentioned. Milo is
sitting right behind me with that hungry look :).
So I’ll stop here and feed the boys. OK, now
they’re both feeding their faces hehehe. Maybe
I can get this journal finished now LOL. I guess
it’s time for me to tell you what I tell you almost
every week and that is, I wrote some more poems
and haiku. Yeppers, 10 more poems with 2 of em
being sort of Christmassy. Also I wrote once agin
22 haiku for all of my haiku lovers out there. It
looks like I’ll have to stop a moment and let Milo
out so he can go potty hehehe. He’s knocking at
the door with his paw. I’ll be back. OK, I’m back.
I think Benny and Milo are content now. Maybe
I can get this done now hehehe. I reckon its time
for me to be searching for that old off switch that
ain’t so great at hiding, but before I do, I need to
wish you a most wonderful weekend or whatever
is left of it and a most joyful and blessings filled
week. Remember, Jesus loves you and we do
too. Now where’s that dadgum off switch hiding
this time? OK now, I can sort of see you in the
curtain as the breeze blows and exposes you 🙂
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill, Judy, Benny and Milo Pearce

Oh yea P.S. We had a visit from Judy’s daughters
last week. They brought their dogs to get them used
to being around others. Benny loved it 🙂 Milo on
the other hand could of taken it or left it. He was
the old man of the group hehehe. Although I think
he had fun through it all LOL.

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Springful Skies

A statement, a wording
of moments surmise
is after winter
with springful skies.
Filled with aliveness
as flowers bloom
in springful skies
as time comes attune.
The seasonal blessings
are colors so sweet
with springful skies
a wonderful treat.
Rains come to water
and give birth a view
as the clouds gather
within thereunto.
Even the shadows
that springtime displays
is with the beautiful
wonderful days.
The essence of morning
fills with surprise
with the beginning of
springful skies.

Dreams Come Alive

With Christmas thinking
the times do survive
as a dreamer dreaming
that dreams come alive.
Yes of course dreamers
can see the sweet view
of Christmas mornings
so fresh and so true.
Seeing the tree lit
with a train going around
dreams come alive
with their sweet sight and sound.
Wonderful moments
that still live and breathe
inside of our minds
if we will believe.
Those dreams come alive
of Christmass displays
with that of a dreamer
of wonderful days.

Winter Moves On

While one day was winter
it now fades away
leaving a magical
view to display.
The snow is all melting
and leaving in place
springtime’s arrival
with a birds smiling face.
Yes winter moves on
as each day will turn
leaving some patches
of snow to discern.
Yet spring brings flowers
to soon come in view
as winter moves on
to return then on cue.
Springtime gives way for
those summertime days
filled with those magical
sun tanning rays.
It’s as the pages
will start a new book
as winter moves on
to allow a new look.

Time Rolls In

As a wave
of time rolls in
to the days
to then begin
Time displays
a certain place
as it rolls
from place to place.
Time rolls in
as seconds pass
leaving many
shadows cast.
As our footsteps
leave their mark
time rolls in
to then embark.
Footprints found
on sandy shores
display all
that time implores.
Time rolls in
with shadow whiles
finding many
moments smiles.
Yet some moments
might be grey
with the time
from day to day.
But those times
of there and then
can wash away
as time rolls in.

My Own Mistakes

All of my choices
that I chose so free
brought me the mishaps
that time found for me.
My own decisions
were most times at fault
for bringing daily
my own times assault,
Yes my own mistakes
brought lessons galore
in through my lifetime
of each wrongful door.
The blame was so often
just me choosing wrong
ending with me then
where I don’t belong.
Life has a pattern
of its give and takes
and God knows I’ll learn
from my own mistakes.

Now As I Seek

This moments springtime
gives me thoughts within
time frames I’ve gathered
from where all I’ve been.
Wintertime’s snowflakes
with Christmastime’s views
finds me with moments
of yesterdays news.
Decembers twilight
is now as I seek
found in a moment
of wanting times peek.
Christmastime’s value
is much more than money.
It’s filled with blessings
of times with my honey.
And so now this moment
I look back and gaze
at all those wonderful
magical days.
Now as I seek them
those times I remember
I think of Christmas
as more than December.

Secret Paths

Journeys wantings
secrets made
paths are counted
and displayed.
For some secrets
come to shine
from mistakes of
time to time.
Secret paths
that many make
often lead to
times mistake.
Not allowing
ones to know
can find life that
ends in woe.
If one knows your
secret paths
you might smile
your shadows cast.
For with secrets
no one knows
what’s your highs
and what’s your lows.
God is there to
help your through
secret paths
that live in you.

An Ocean Of Swells

Waves come a rolling
just washing in shells
found on an island
of an ocean of swells.
Morning times sunrise
brings waves evermore
washing in rhythms
of time on the shore.
An ocean of swells
is a visual thing
often that’s heard as
waves as they sing.
Waves found just crashing
on sweet sands of time
sound like a heartbeat
that is so divine.
A wonderful symphony
joined in by birds
an ocean of swells
is endless of words.

Waiting For Luck

Often we’re waiting
for time to foretell
when that our journey
will turn out so well.
Waiting for luck as
time goes its way
is sometimes followed
with troubles display.
Often while waiting
we might stumble on
something we wanted
that was better gone.
Let God to help you
to wait with more ease
and not to hurry
with troublesome breeze.
Don’t let your wanna
to exceed what’s good
waiting for luck
might not turn out good.
Sometimes it’s best
to just continue on
and let God guide you
and help you along.

After The Snow

Now as dear winter
is blowing away
springtime is giving
a wonderful day.
Found after winter
the birds chirp so sweet
after the snow
there’s ground at my feet.
Soon all the snow will
melt and help grow
springtime’s own threshold
as rivers will flow.
The stage is set now
to bring forth its power
that is well painted
with every wild flower.
Even the plant life
that ones planted true
after the snow’s gone
will come into view.
Springtime’s arrival
is greeted with joy
as it makes plant life
to surely deploy.

Haiku
for Apr 18, 2015

In the looking glass
we might see a reflection
that others don’t see.

Hidden within time
there are minutes we don’t see,
due to not looking.

Today brings chances
for tomorrow’s better times
written in choices.

Points that we’re making
might not be so obvious
and be lost in time.

Conclusion jumping
could end with wrong perceptions
and end in despair.

Looking back in time
might find you disappointed
and wishing it changed.

Speaking too freely
can cause harm to ones you love,
so careful with words.

As we move ahead
we will find opened doorways
with some not so good.

Winds will find their course
as time displays their journey
driven in each day.

Windows of chances
are sometimes just confusion
painted with fluster.

Blind leading the blind
displays ones with no business
of being in charge.

Within a garage
ones might store their deception
and not show the truth.

A cold as ice heart
will not find any true love
unless it warms up.

Life in the fast lane
will often find destruction
that will hurt others.

The winds of winter
bring forth their own appearance
flavored with snowflakes.

One with hurt feelings
might hide them from you and me
for fear of judgment.

Anger fills a cup
to where it could overflow
if it’s not emptied.

Laughing too loudly
could make others look at you
and think you’re crazy.

The footsteps we make
leave footprints in our journey
that ones might follow.

As daylight goes dark
nighttime brings stars out to dance
and the moon to shine.

Meaningful heartbeats
bring love into existence
as one becomes two.

A little venture
might conclude to large footsteps
leading to nowhere.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s a bright and sunny day today and 54 F degrees.
Of course there is still a ton of snow outside yet to be
melted away. Yep, ya still gotta wear sunshades to
look outside LOL. The good part is that there is no
more snow in the forecast. There is although a bit of
rain in the forecast LOL. We’re still gonna have some
freezing temperatures at night for a while. That’s the
way it is up here. If it ain’t snowing, it’s raining LOL.
I will be glad when spring does finally get here. Yet
right now, there are still just barren branches on the
trees. Of course all of the evergreens are still green.
That only changes when they have tons of snow on
them and in that case they’re white hehehe. Yep,
this is life up north in Maine. Judy and I are doing
well. Our heating oil seemed to of lasted, so we
didn’t have to by anymore, but we will most surely
have to start buying some more this summer to get
ready for next winter, because our tank is almost
empty. Benny and Milo are doing well. They are
as ornery as always hehehe. Milo is lying in a dog
bed right beside me. Benny is at his guard station
on the recliner in the living room. He lets us know
if he hears something. Of course dogs can hear
a lot better than you or I so he tends to hears stuff
that doesn’t really pertain to us, such as some cars
driving down the road or our neighbors LOL. Yep,
he’s our overactive alarm system. We are glad he
does keep tabs though, because sometimes our
doorbell is frozen and will not work, and Benny
lets us know that someone is at the door. If we
try to ignore him in that situation, he will come
and get us and in his own way say come with me,
there’s someone at the door LOL. Yep, that’s
the way this house rolls hehehe. Right now I’m
eating some generic Lucky Charms LOL. They
have gotten a little mushy since I am writing and
eating at the same time or at least attempting to.
Milo just woke up and went and knocked at the
door with his paw to tell me, he’s gotta go out.
I’ll be back……………. I’m back. My cereal is
really soggy now LOL. Oh well, it’s still edible.
I just opened a window to let in some fresh air.
Through the 6 months of winter it does tend to
get a little stuffy in the house being with all of
the storm windows and doors. My allergies are
still running strong. They never take a break.
I have all year round allergies. You might be
able to hear me sneezing if you live close LOL.
I do keep the tissue companies in business 🙂
I have tried every allergy relief med. that I can
find and so far only Benadryl does anything to
help me, but unfortunately it messes with my
eyes. It doesn’t do like it does for Judy. It
never makes me sleepy. It just makes it hard
to see until it wears off. Then I can see, but
it’s on with the sneezing and blowing my nose.
LOL that’s my life. Milo just got up out of the
floor and went into our bedroom and he has
hopped up on the bed and is now sleeping in
my spot hehehe. Oh well, I’m not using it at
this moment LOL. They both like to lay in
bed with us, but we only allow it if we’re just
watching TV or as the matter as it is now and
neither of us is in bed. They are both banned
if they have been outside in the snow and all.
Nope, that’s when I will point at the floor and
they will stay down there. OK so what else is
going on around this place? Well, I ordered
us a couple of trivia games from Walmart.com
and I had them free ship them to our Walmart
in town. Judy and I went and picked them up
yesterday. One is called I’m With Stupid and
the other is titled You Must Be An Idiot. We
like to play trivia games when we get together
with the family, so I thought I would find us
some cheap ones to bring that we could play.
Anyways, We’re looking forward to playing
them with the kinfolk. It’s 57 F degrees now
at 5 PM according to my weather program, but
the thermometer at our back door says 61 F.
All though a little heat might be escaping to
make it warmer, but I don’t think that much.
In any sense, it’s not freezing and the snow is
slowly melting away. Yes we still have tons
of that white stuff out there, but it’s gradually
diminishing. I just went outside to take a few
pictures of our receding snow and ice. Another
few days and it should be gone unless we have
some more weird weather pop up and we get
more snow. It doesn’t show it in the forecast
though 🙂 Maybe winter has finally run its
course. We shall see hehehe. It has been
known to make a come back in the middle
to near the end of April. Yessiree bob we
might finally see a portion of spring YEAH.
I might then take my conga drums outside
and do some video recordings. It’s way too
hard to do in the wintertime when the wind
is blowing and not to mention the frigid cold.
My conga drum skins can’t handle too much
cold. They are skins ya know. My fingers
can handle it for a short period of time, but
even so, when moving my hands at that fast
pace they still get a little cold and I my index
finger on my left hand got frost bitten many
years ago and it still gives me the fits LOL.
The rest my fingers do fine. Anyways, it
seems that we might be seeing the grass
growing sometime in the future. Yet, for
now, it’s still buried beneath tons of snow.
I can’t wait to start taking some springtime
pictures. Of course the beginning will be
sort of muddy hehehe, being with all of the
snow melting, but one day the grass will
begin to grow again and our landlord will be
ticked off, because it means it’s mowing
season again. For some reason though I
think he likes to drive his tractor hehehe.
I’m looking forward to all of the flowers
blooming. Of course we don’t have none,
but all of the wild flowers that bloom will
display their beauty. It’s their defense
mechanism. They try to look so pretty
that we won’t mow them or whack them
with the weedeater LOL. It only works
for a while and then hasta la vista, baby 🙂
Summertime awakens my wants for more
picture taking and Judy and I will head
out on a picture taking drive. Benny and
Milo will join us. It’s nice to have pictures
that we can look back on and remember
the moments. Hey, that might work well
for a new poem title hehehe. We shall see.
I just went and looked at the thermometer
on the back door and it seems to be cooling
a bit. Now, it says 57 F. Well the day is
almost over with and it is supposed to get
down to 30 F degrees by morning. Judy
just got home. She’s early. She said her
brother Ricky is sick and in the hospital
now. Judy’s sister Trudy got off from work
early so Judy came home early. Anyways,
it looks like Judy’s brother Ricky is in
a bad way. He hadn’t eaten in a week and
could not get up out of his chair. Why he
didn’t call anybody I have no clue. The
phone was right beside him. Keep him
in your prayers. God will most assuredly
watch over him. I guess with that said,
I need to be doing my little search back
through all that I’ve written here to see
if I can find a title that’s better than the
one that I found a bit ago hehehe. So it’s
away I go to that place of my recollection
that I always like to call RECOLLECT
VILLE. It looks like the title I find a
little bit ago will do. So here goes 🙂

Remember The Moments

Those times from another
day we’ve explored
might display sometimes
that we had adored.
Seasons found changing
as dusk unto dawn,
remember the moments
as time moves along.
You might find that one day
you’re needing a smile,
remember the moments
of a times little while.
See how remembering
can bring you on through
passed all the sadness
that might be with you.
Remember the moments
of hearts found united
and you might find then
that you’re so excited.
For moments remembered
can still live and breathe
as a joyful remembrance
that you can believe.

So how was that? I hope it made some sense.
I also hope you enjoyed my rambling hehehe.
I know, you’re saying, How can this guy find
so much to talk about LOL? Well, I just start
writing and let my thoughts come alive. The
boys are asleep in the floor right behind and
beside Judy and I. When Milo saw that mom
was home he came back in here and plopped
down right behind me LOL. Amazing enough
he’s not barking for treats hehehe. I guess
he’s content. There’s not much else to tell ya
other than what I tell you almost every week
and that is I wrote some more poems and
haiku. Yeppers, 10 more poems, but yet
with one of them this time a Christmas poem.
I also wrote once again 22 more haiku for
all of my haiku lovers out there 🙂 I hope
you can find one or two of either or both that
you like. Now I believe it’s time for me to
begin my search for that not so elusive
off switch, but not before I wish you a most
wonderful weekend or whatever’s left of it
and a blessings filled week. Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too. OK now,
where’s that freaken off switch hiding
this week? I saw ya duck for cover in my
Lifesaver Mint bag hehehe. Try harder
next time dude. Maybe try NOT peeking.
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill, Judy, Benny and Milo Pearce

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Pieces Of Time

An instant, a moment
with pieces of time
some seem as boredom,
some seem to rhyme.
Minutes that tick on
with pages of day
might become images
moments display.
Pieces of time
that somehow are found
when we each finally
just look around.
Often those pieces
of time fade from view
when we are burdened
with what others do.
So if we’d focus on
what that is needed
pieces of time might
be then succeeded.

Years Pass

If but a moment
is found on your mind
you might then recall what
passed days will find.
As the years pass by
and time fades away
we each will get older
as hair turns to grey.
Scenes that we’ve found
as our echoes rejoice
find the years pass
with a shadowy voice.
Mesmerizing things
from days that are gone
might become cinders
that are still burning on.
Becoming images
that burn so bright
the years pass on
to our memorized sight.
Things we remember
that will never fade away
are as the years pass
to moments of grey.

A Sea Of Thoughts

With waves crashing in
on a sunshiny day
a sea of thoughts is
a wonderful way.
Walking on the beach
with sand sifting true
a sea of thoughts
is me now with you.
Walking in the waves
of time evermore
we’re holding hands
on this old sandy shore.
An island of summer
as waters will toss
we are together
in a sea of thoughts.
This is but a dream
of a time faraway
you and I together
on one distant day.
A sea of thoughts
with you and I together
lasting in our minds
for now and forever.

To Judy Pearce

Impromptu

Beginning real quickly
without much a thought
sometimes we head out
with what we should not.
A little impromptu
from a hurried way
begins a little journey
that might turn out grey.
An impromptus time
that becomes a pattern
could possibly end up
like rings of Saturn.
Whirling around emptily
without thinking true
where you will end up
with one impromptu.
Often our journeys
we thought up real quick
lead us to gateways
to time frames so sick.
Yet a little impromptu
can brighten our days
if it’s not without
the will of good ways.

Pleasant Dreams

As night comes true
and sleep is found
pleasant dreams
come into town.
Needing only
you to find
pleasant dreams
within your mind.
Think of rainbows
colors bright
as you head off
in the night
Pleasant dreams
of fields of wonder
only needs your
mind to wander.
Relax and find
some peaceful streams
and you’ll find some
pleasant dreams.

Hidden Thoughts

We might hide
our thoughts inside,
but to God
they’re opened wide.
Hidden thoughts
that we don’t tell
might one day
find us in Hell.
For Lord God knows
what we think
and if it’s good
or if it stinks.
Hidden thoughts
are best applied
with God’s help
to cleanse inside.
Yet if goodness
is your mind
hidden thoughts
are good to find.
Being God knows
who you are
and your thoughts
each day by far.

Simply Remembering

Those December days
with Christmastime’s joy
I now remember
a young little boy.
It was my favorite
time to explore
gazing through windows
at the old toy store.
Watching the toy trains
just chugging around
as I knew Christmas
was coming to town.
Simply remembering
those pleasant days
brings me a journey
through Christmas arrays.
Scenes filled with laughter
with Christmas songs sung
I’m simply remembering
when I was so young.
Yet I never saw Christmas
with wintertime’s snow,
but I still dreamed of Santa
and his HoHoHo.
Those childhood moments
I’m simply remembering
are still alive
as those voices still sing.
My family and I
singing songs of such joy
simply remembering
when I was just a boy.

A Moment In Time

I sometimes think that
I might of lost true
sometime or moment
that got passed my view.
A moment in time
from day unto night
that might of seemed to
evade my sight.
We all have moments
that make it on passed
seen now this moment
within our own past.
Yet there are moments
that we might just gaze
sometimes a minute
in times better days.
With recollections
of yesterdays view
a moment in time
might not be for you.

Before The Dawn

Within the morning
sunshine is seen
finding its way passed
starlight and dream.
Before the dawn
the night does display
signs of its end
and beginning of day.
The essence of starlight
glimmers and shines
soon as the dawn breaks
with its designs.
Yet before the dawn
the glow does appear
that displays the time
that daytime is near.
Before the dawn
the night leaves a trace
found in the stars
as a smiling face.
Nighttime is moving
as time ticks on
to give us a glimmer that’s
before the dawn.

Towards Much Better

With our passed behind us
as time marches on
we can find so much better
with some moments gone.
Often with so many
their days move ahead
not seeking for better
but the same ways instead.
Not toward much better,
but repetitive strides
that were just burdensome
temptations dives.
So try to move forwards
towards much better
while trying truly
to be a go getter.
Don’t let your passed days
of hardships to win.
Towards much better
is the way to begin.

Haiku
for Apr 11, 2015

As you imagine
you might begin seeing truth
beyond perception.

The length of a day
gives some the time to mess up
and others to shine.

Harvesting anger
from a time from long ago
will burden today.

Kindness of others
might somehow rub off on you
and make you to smile.

Today’s own hardships
could be just but some moments
that we thought larger.

Looking at the snow
as the sun reflects on it
needs you with sunshades.

Modern medicines
will often not be so good
because it’s practice.

Looking for the truth
needs you to know what it is
so you will know it.

Beyond a shadow
holds some images we see
that might confuse us.

Living in the past
guarantees a bad future,
for it is poisoned.

The weather of time
comes with tornadoes of life
that relocate us.

A license to drive
does not allow you to speed
and ignore the rules.

A little heartache
might cause you to shy away
and not get too close.

Snow within April
still finds a place on the ground
in northeastern Maine.

Sharing little grins
could cause an epidemic
as smiles will blossom.

Pouring on laughter
might make ones think your crazy,
so don’t laugh so hard.

Yesterdays journey
could find itself in today
as some leftovers.

Beyond the starlight
there’s another world to find
as life beacons on.

Similar people
will often find perceptions
not so similar.

While clouds pass us by
they create fluffy artwork
in the sky of blue.

Spirits within us
are often from family
guiding us through life.

Knowing boundaries
and acknowledging their truth
helps us move forward.

Your frosty friend Bill 🙂

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s cold and windy today. It snowed a bit more yesterday
and Saturday. Judy and I went over to her sister Trudy’s
house yesterday Easter and we all had a great time. We
played a game called UBI. It was a real hard trivia game.
The World According to UBI is an ingenious game in which
players’ general knowledge, geographical awareness, and
luck, all combine with novel game play to provide hours
of enjoyment. Written in a language of its own and played
with a unique map of the world, UBI challenges players
to decipher clues given on UBI-and-answer cards and to
collect a RUBI (scoring piece) from each of the four
world zones en route to building the RUBI UBI pyramid.
It’s an old game from the 80’s hehehe. Judy’s sister had
it and we all played for hours. Judy and I won YEAH 🙂
We all filled up our tummies on food. Judy fixed a lot
of tasty treats also. Anyways, we took a few pictures.
I took a few of our drive over to their house. It still
looks like winter LOL. Benny went outside and played
in the snow for a bit while we were there. Milo stayed
inside and slept most of the time, but every once in a
while joined with Benny and visited with their cousins.
Trude and Dennis have 4 yorkies. Yeppers, it was a
good day, but we were glad to finally get home and
relax. Judy and I looked at the pictures that she and
I took. I hope you had a great Easter. It might snow
again a little bit tonight, but not much. We don’t need
anymore snow. We’ve still got tons of that white stuff
outside hehehe. So, now ya know why I was unable to
write my journal yesterday huh 😉 I was going to try
and write it last night when we got home, but I was
way too tired and could barely see out of my one and
only good eye LOL. After searching a map of the
freaking world trying to locate things with just a clue
and not what it is we’re looking for is very taxing on
the eyes hehehe. Anyways, next topic. It looks as
though we might finally see some version of spring
before it’s over with . Right now it’s 33 F degrees
with tonight’s low supposedly at 26 F degrees. The
next few days are looking to be in the upper 30’s
to mid to upper 40’s for the highs. We might soon
be able to see some Earth. The roads aren’t too
bad, but they do have tons of frost heaves hehehe.
Frost heaves are where the road has cracked due to
the ice and the melted ice re freezing or an upthrust
of ground or pavement caused by the freezing of
moist soil. LOL a little trivia for ya. Yep, the old
roads are getting worse with every freeze hehehe.
This week doesn’t have much scheduled other than
searching for springtime. Judy’s in the kitchen now
washing dishes. We might be eating lunch in a bit.
Of course it wasn’t but a couple of hours ago that
we ate breakfast hehehe. She just strolled back in
here and is once again browsing Facebook. I will
have to upload a few of the pictures that we took
yesterday. Judy has already uploaded a couple 🙂
I’m going to try like the dickens to finally get my
PC boxed up and sent to Texas this week hehehe.
With all of the weather conditions and health issues
it’s been hard lately, but Judy is going to help me
get the PC boxed up this evening. It’s hard to get
the flaps taped with just 2 hands LOL. So, what
else is going on around this place. I got a call from
my cousin Greg just a bit ago. It’s always great
to hear from him. He keeps me up to date on all
that is happening in the family. Though I do sort
of keep up to date on Facebook hehehe. I think
he just likes to call and talk. Him and his brother
Randy were 2 of my favorite cousins. We didn’t
get to spend much time together, but when we
did, I enjoyed it. Now being much older I’ve
found a little more common ground with a few
that before I didn’t have. I guess as years are
added one onto the other our age differences
mean less. Plus many of my class mates have
grown beyond all of their grade school clicks
and begun to see what was right before their
eyes. Yes, years have a way of changing ones
perception of the past and present as well as
the future. A year to a teenager seems as an
eternity, but as the years are gathered, the
years also change their format. What you
thought important as a child will often become
a laughable moment. That even includes the
years passed our childhood. While we grow
older our viewpoints might be swayed by our
mistakes and lessons learned. Yes, God is
always watching over us, but He expects us
to do our part and learn from our mistakes.
If we made no mistakes, we would have no
lessons to learn by. The human race is built
on errors. What didn’t work one way gave
the momentum to try other ways and thus
growth is made. God gave us differences
which are our imperfections that make us to
be perfect in His Eyes, for if we were all
the same, then we would have no unique
personal qualities and we would not grow.
It’s differences that spawn growth. Don’t
think of yourself as dumb just because you
can’t do what another can do. You are you
and you are unique. Let your gifts shine in
The Eyes of God. I guess I have gone and
rambled quite enough haven’t I hehehehe.
So I reckon it’s time for me to be taking my
lil journey back through all that I’ve written
here, to that place of my recollection that
I always like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.
I think I found a good title and now after
checking I see that it’s been used, so next.
OK, so I found a fairly good title now that
I haven’t used yet hehehe. So here goes 🙂

No Mistakes

Timeless turns
of our heartaches
teach us more
than no mistakes.
Lessons learned
as time moves on
finds us with
what’s right and wrong.
No mistakes
of pages turned
shows so few
of lessons learned.
Yet so many
learn to view
times mistakes
from me and you.
But a baker
learns what bakes
from the trials,
not no mistakes.

OK, so there ya go hehehe. I hope my rambling
didn’t put ya to sleep and you maybe enjoyed the
poem. I know the poem might not of been one of
my better ones, but it’ll have to do LOL. I’ve got
the whole family in here now. Judy is browsing the
Internet looking for a dog washtub. Both of us are
having trouble kneeling down at the bathtub and
washing them and then cleaning up the bathtub.
Anyways, she’s looking 🙂 The boys are lying in
the floor between Judy and I. I think they are
pooped from trying to keep up with all of their
little cousins yesterday hehehe. I know Milo is.
He’s the eldest of them all. There’s not much
else to tell you other than what I tell you every
week and that is, I wrote some more poems and
haiku. Yeppers, 10 more poems, but nope, no
Christmas poems this week. I might get back
into writing them again soon hehehe. Anyways,
I wrote 22 more haiku for all of my haiku lovers
out there. I hope you can find 1 or 2 of either
or both that you like. Now I believe it’s time
for me to be searching for that not so elusive
off switch, but not before I wish you a most
wonderful God filled week and a belated Happy
Easter. Remember, Jesus loves you and we
do too. Now to find that freaken off switch 🙂
I see ya you little whippersnapper. Hiding
behind my Cheetoes almost worked, but I’ve
got the munchies and there ya are 🙂 hehehe.
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill, Judy, Benny and Milo Pearce

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

April Snow

In northern Maine
it often shows
signs of times
how April snows.
The white outside
is coming down
bulding quickly
on the ground.
I know one day
that soon will be
April days
no snow to see.
Yet this moment
I see white
near and far
within my sight.
Falling quickly
sure to show
nothern Maine
with April snow.

Winter Lives On

In seasons to come
winter lives on
maybe remembered
dusk unto dawn.
Wintertime’s moment
might be extended
if spring and summer
somehow befriend it.
Seasonal doorways
open and close
sometimes with winter
with temps in the lows.
Winter lives on now
as windows display
beginnings of April
confusions array.
Yet way up northward
dusk unto dawn
6 months displays how
winter lives on.

Illusion

Truth of believing
is sometimes not real
for mere illusions
our hands cannot feel.
Sometimes our heart
will find much confusion
within reality
of disillusion.
If but a moment
guides you astray
seek for Lord Jesus
to show you the way.
For He is truly
the Savior of times
not just illusion
that leads to land mines.
Let yourself see now
past the confusion
and find the truth
that’s not just illusion.

Deep Ocean Mind

A wave of existence
with many a kind
displays the stories
a deep ocean mind.
Deep down beneath the
waves that we see
a deep ocean mind
lives in you and me.
We’ve found ourselves
in waves that roll in
as we’ve discovered
how things will begin.
A deep ocean mind
of rhythmic tides
brings some conclusions
of scenes certain size.
Often our stories
will be so inclined
to display virtues
a deep ocean mind.

As The Earth Turns

Our different lifestyles
from every which way
sometimes cause problems
with so much to say.
As the Earth turns
it displays our voices
with many people
and all of their choices.
God gave this planet
to be for us all
as the Earth turns
from winter to fall.
Seasons between them
as the Earth turns
spring unto summer
is what it discerns.
With every doorway
that rotates around
as the Earth turns
displays sight and sound.
Many a pathway
with so many choices
displays the ventures
of so many voices.
Counted perceptions
with each one unique
as the Earth turns
so many will speak.
So as we find that
we each have concerns
we might find differences
as the Earth turns.

Life As It May

A looking glass mind
with will and a way
describes then so many
their life as it may.
Joined by conclusions
in reflections of mind
a looking glass viewpoint
sees time after time.
Life as it might be
or maybe not so
brings ones conclusions
the wrong way to go.
Yet often patterns
will bring forth a while
painted with morals
with lesser a smile.
Look for the beauty
within every day
and see what God’s done
life as it may.
Look beyond problems
and see what that’s good
life as it may
be misunderstood.
Let not the doorways
of troublesome times
to be what that’s only
your daily designs.
See all the blessings
of each passing day
as you’re evolving
life as it may.

Whispers Of Time

Found in a valley
are whispers of time
seen as a portion
of blessings to find.
Whispering ventures
footprints display
times that have passed on
day after day.
Winds blowing briskly
with voices we hear
the whispers of time
of year after year.
Spoke as an author
written by birds
with all their chatter
of so distant words.
A whisper of time
begins with a scene
white unto winter
green within spring.
With every whisper
a voice will appear
speaking of seasons
year after year.

A Slippery Road

A slippery wintery
roads design
now is enshrouding
what that’s springtime.
The season is taunted
with winter snow
supposed to be springtime
seen to and fro.
Yet on this day of
northeastern Maine
a slippery road
seems so insane.
Supposed to be springtime
not cold and white
a slippery road
is now in my sight.
It seems that springtime
will never be
but a slippery road
of which I can see.

The Day After Now

Without yesterday
our now days would be
a moment without
some lessons to see.
We learn from our past,
but some maybe not
for the day after now
their past is forgot.
The day after now
is feathered with tools
that comes from lessons
maybe as fools.
Times found so foolishly
that came before
the day after now
gives us to explore.
Lessons from time frames
then did not see,
but the day after now
shows our history.

It’s So Pointless

To find only anger
in things that are done
makes it real hard to
see shining sun.
Life in a bubble
filled with just pain
might leave you nothing
but just insane.
For it’s so pointless
to just look down
when life and love
can surely be found.
It might not be what all
you think is right,
but often it’s us that
create the sight.
It’s so pointless to
bring up the past,
when now is a brand new
daily forecast.

Haiku
for Apr 4, 2015

With a simple breath
life can be spread all around
with words of Jesus.

It takes but three words
to change our destination
and they’re I love you.

With many talking
there might be less listening,
because it’s just gossip.

Due to ignorance
many speak without thinking
and end up lonely.

Minutes in a day
add up to hours we’ve missed
due to lack of care.

In a looking glass
one might see only beauty,
but the truth lies deep.

A passionate soul
reaches to help another
even when in pain.

Peace has a value
that is bought with agreeing
and not mere money.

Looking for snowflakes
in a wintery morning
might find you a few.

Beyond our eyesight
holds many things that are real,
but we just can’t see.

When two have bonded
the stories are made longer
as they’re united.

The past leaves echoes
that might be heard tomorrow,
yet not so proudly.

The stars in the sky
twinkle their on going words
as stories of night.

Painting a picture
needs an imagination
to bring it to life.

Lifestyles of others
do not need to be as ours,
for we are not them.

Simple minds of time
might find a few amazement’s
in the lesser things.

A voice in our head
could be our conscience speaking
discerning what’s right.

Sometimes what we see
is not what that’s really there
as eyes will play tricks.

When today is done
it leaves tomorrow to come
in today’s shadows.

When the wind’s blowing
it seems to be saying words
spoken in a breath.

A forest of trees
gives forth a story of time
with branches of leaves.

Tomorrow’s today
will be without this moment,
but lessons live on.
