ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s a nice day today with a temperature
of 77 F degrees and a high of 77 F.  Not
too bad for summertime if ya ask me 🙂
Nope,  not bad at all.  Still,  the humidity
is about to do me in.  Yes,  once again,
to those that do not know LOL,  I am
very hot natured and I can’t handle too
much heat.  My old body is better off in
the cold LOL.  The boys are outside now.
It’s such a pretty day.  They need to be
out there and enjoying it.  I’ll join them
when I finish writing 🙂  Judy and I went
bike riding yesterday in the field and
the boys ran right along with us.  There
are things about summertime such as
that which I will miss,  but sweating my
life away is not one of them hehehehe.
It looks like the next few days will be
in the upper 70’s and later a few days
in the lower 80’s.  I feel sorry for yall
down south of us,  but then,  you might
feel sorry for us during the wintertime 🙂
The only thing I hate about wintertime
is the latter part of it where the snow
starts melting and turning into slush and
then refreezes making a not so wondrous
ice skating rink LOL.  The boys love
the snow,  although I think Benny loves
it a bit more LOL.  Rocky is more like
Milo was and he prefers to be indoors
most of the time,  but Benny is literally
a snow dog.  The only time he is ready
to come inside is when he can’t handle
the cold anymore,  but then after he has
come inside and warmed up a bit,  he’s
ready for another go LOL.  They both
will play and bounce around together
in the snow.  The day that Rocky saw
snow for the first time we were not
sure how he would react and that day
we found out.  Him and Benny made a
mad dash out to the field through the
snow.  Rocky was having the time of
his life and that day we found it hard
to get him back to the house hehehe.
I joined them out in the field and took
some pictures and videos of them and
the snow.  Yeppers,  Benny and Rocky
have become the best of friends.  They
play chase and wrestle around.  Every
once in a while they’ll also do as true
brothers and get into a scuffle over a
treat or a toy, LOL and we will have to
break it up.  They’re getting better,
but yes,  they do act like brothers <3
of course of different breeds hehehe.
I had to turn on our air conditioner
a little while ago.  Our PC’s put out
a lot of heat and this room was getting
stifling.  I let the boys back inside a
little bit ago also.  They’re both lying
in the floor now enjoying the AC LOL.
This passed week has been a fairly
nice one.  It’s rained a few days off
and on,  but that was a welcomed sight.
Judy and I might do some more bike
riding tomorrow.  With the ground
not so soggy it makes it easier to ride.
Until we get to where we feel that we
can handle a longer ride,  I think we
will keep our rides in the field and in
our driveway where the boys can also
run along with us.  Then, when we feel
we can go further,  we might get out
the doggy trailer and bring them with
us.  I’m guessing that the trailer will
be pulled by me LOL.  It attaches to
the back of a bike.  Anyways,  that’s
future desires 🙂  For the present days
we will deal with each day as it comes.
The day is now coming to an end as I
watch the sky darkening up gradually
as the minutes pass.  I had to stop my
writing a moment ago due to a few
conflicts within this room,  but they
are resolved 🙂  It just took me a bit
to get back into my writing mode
again.   Problems will come and go,
but peace can still be found 🙂  Yep 🙂
especially with two rowdy little boys
that love to create a ruckus and one
that gets kicks out of pulling my tissues
out of my box and eating them LOL.
Now here’s a laugh,  the other day,
Judy and I saw something white on
Rocky’s pooper/buttocks/hiney/back
side/posterior, etc, etc, etc LOL and it
turned out to be tissues.  He’s learned
how to wipe his own butt by eating my
tissues and pooping them hehehe.  Now
I have my tissue box taped to the wall
on my side of the bed with duct tape,
but that didn’t stop him LOL,  he just
climbed over on my night stand and
proceeded to pull them out.  Soooo,
I have begun just tucking the tissues
in the box so he can’t grab them.  So
far it has worked HaHaHa.  He’s also
gotten a hold of Judy’s tissues,  but
he seems to have been focused more
on mine for some dumb reason that
I cannot think of hehehe.  Though for
the moment,  it looks like I may have
solved that problem.  I was running
out of tissues LOL.  Our home has
literally gone to the dogs 🙂  It’s OK,
it keeps it interesting.  We can get
bored,  but it’s not easy hehehehehe.
It seems that every day has a brand
new mystery to be uncovered or pulled
from the tissue box.  God has blessed
us with love in many different ways.
I enjoy watching the clouds in the
sky as they paint their pictures of the
many things that I can imagine and
the seasons show their own type of
decor with their footprints in time.
Yes,  each season has its own place
in the days of our lives.  I guess it’s
time for me to hush and begin my
quest back through all that I have
written here to see if I can find me a
good word or phrase that will work for
the title for today’s brand new poem.
So,  it’s away I go to that place of
my recollection that I always like to
call RECOLLECT VILLE.  It looks
like I may have found a title just a
few lines back 🙂  Now to see if I can
do anything with it 🙂  Here goes…

Footprints In Time

Seen as a footstep
that’s making its way
there are some footprints
with words which to say.
Words of a journal
that ears cannot hear,
found as a portion
of our yesteryear.
Each day is a page
of a book with words
sometimes recalled as
a large flock of birds.
Minutes will leave us
if time is ignored,
yet they will find us
sometimes as deplored.
So,  make your journey
with blessings to find
found in the thresholds
of footprints in time.

There ya go.  I did what I could with that
title 🙂  It seems no matter what title I use,
God guides me to say what I need to say.
The sun is setting,  but there’s still a little
light out there.  8.01 PM is sunset and it’s
7:58 PM 🙂  The temperature has dropped
a bit.  Now it’s 67 F degrees.  It feels good.
Judy went to lie down for a bit.  She has
been working long and hard on her new
book.  She finally got it done and I think
it’s great.  I read it yesterday to help her
to look for typo’s and such and I loved
it.  We found a couple of typo’s,  but they
were small.  Anyways,  it’s published.
It’s titled,  “Just Get Up And Dance” 🙂
So,  what else is there to tell you that I
have not already?  Oh yea,  as far as
I know,  my sister is doing well.  My
other friends are still needing prayer.
A few fighting cancer also.  Cancer is
a cruel disease and it’s not prejudice
about whose lives it will infect and
destroy.  Be strong my friends,  for
God is always with you.  You might
not be aware of it,  but He is.  Now,
I believe it’s time for me to tell you
what I tell you almost every week 🙂
and that is,  I wrote some more poems
and haiku.  Yeppers 10 more poems,
but no Christmas poems this week,
but I did write another poem earlier
today which ups the count to 11 poems.
Also I once again wrote 22 haiku for
all of the haiku lovers out there.  I
hope you can find 1 or 2 of either or
both that you like.  So I reckon it’s
time for me to be searching for that
ornery off switch,  but not before I
wish you a most wonderful weekend,
or whatever is left of it and a truly
blessings filled week,  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  Now,
where could that silly off switch be
hiding this week?  Hmm,  searching,
LOL I see ya.  Thought you found
a good hiding spot this time didn’t ya?
Well,  it might of been aside from one
small little problem,  I noticed my
paper moving up and down as you
breathed hehehe.  Maybe next week.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S  A link to Judy’s new book as at
the end of the journal along with the
others.  Enjoy 🙂

P.S. again hehehe
I bought me a selfie stick.

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10+1 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Those Days Are Gone

The past is an echo
in now days attire,
the clothing ones wear
or sought to acquire.
Yet so many people
will look back and say
those days are gone,
now look at today.
They point out the problems
instead of the good
while adding to sadness
with what they wish would.
Those days are gone
the times we recall
and now is the journey
we walk,  maybe fall.
Truth is the pathway
that lies cannot hide
while now might seem gruesome
with hell bent applied.
Take a step back now
and see what you’re doing,
those days are gone,
it’s now that you’re screwing.
Look for the blessings
and fuel them with love,
then those days long gone
let them fly like a dove.
Let God The Father
to help you move on,
for then is just baggage
for those days are gone.

Cloudy Scenes

Clouds above me
skies of blue
paintings painted
wondrous hue.
Pictures forming
in the sky
become doorways
that can fly.
Windows form as
worlds to see
cloudy scenes
God given free.
Scenes like magic
form and change,
a puff of wind
then rearrange.
Cloudy scenes
of moments gain
often beauty
formed as rain.
Then a rainbow
finds its place
cloudy scenes
a smiling face.

Comes With Peace

Violent actions
only fuel
that of minions
found a fool.
Times found bitter
turning points
leave so many
aching joints.
Heartless people
do not see
what they’ve done
to history.
Yet with actions
love can prove
we can find a
better groove.
Not judgmental
of ones skin
or what place
is found their kin.
Faces painted
human beings
love and peace
should be agreeing.
Time can venture
war to cease
for it’s what that
comes with peace.

Beyond My View

A starry night
with moonlight bright
displays a porthole
far from sight.
A scene of wonder
found here under
stars that twinkle
scenes asunder.
Beyond my view
of thereunto
a place might be
for you and me.
A distant place
a smiling face
with ones like us
to soon embrace.
A starry night
might shed some light
beyond my view
it may,  it might.

Without Some Thought

When stepping on out
and not looking first
you might just become
one needing a hearse.
Without some thought
not making a plan
you might just become
what troubles expand.
Living without thinking
and not seeing true
without some thought
can destroy you.
Don’t be a dummy
and head out in life
without some thought
and fill full of strife.
Of course some moments
will also show true
without some thought
much better for you.
Yet many doorways
displaying in time
without some thought
can be bad to find.
So allow some time
to think clearly through
what that is better
for you then to do.
Most of the time
yet surely not always
without some thought
can turn into grays.

A Step In Time

A shimmer,  a shadow
as stories unfold
displays the ventures
from young unto old.
A step in time
with our memories
might be as a field
or the deep blue seas.
Mountainous moments
that fall into place
a step in time
becomes an embrace.
A window to look through,
a voyage you have been
a step in time
might remember when.
Seen as a glimmer
the things we have done
a step in time
shows us oh so young.
Traipsing in meadows
or creeks to and fro
a step in time
is a time that we know.
Memories remembered
that now are sublime
come from the moments
a step in time.

The Last Beating Heart

With passion of turnstiles
the last beating heart
becomes a memoir
with new days to start.
Journeys foreboding
can leave ones insane
with only a heartbeat
of hell to attain.
The minutes that flourish
need us you and me,
the last beating heart
to help love succeed.
Let’s not let its fire
to cease with its flame,
for the last beating heart
needs help to exclaim.
Voices must ring
before love falls apart
and there is no rhythm
the last beating heart.

A Season’s Breeze

Spring brings flowers
and breezes blowing
a potion for blessings
time is bestowing.
Then with the changes
summer arrives
breezes blowing
helping survive.
Without the breezes
summer would be
a hot time remembered
for you and for me.
Then is found autumn,
fall as it’s said
leaves changing colors
because they are dead.
Becoming an essence
of beauty divine,
fall finds snow flakes
sought winter time.
Then as the snow falls
some pictures display
a season’s breeze
as snowflakes play.
A season’s breeze
is that of a style,
springtime to winter
filled with a smile.

Visions Of Life

Some see life as
just but a rhythm
that might be dead
that’s found deep within them.
The visions of life
are many times wrong
as ones uncover
another days dawn.
Life is a pathway
often with troubles
lessons to learn
from all of our struggles.
Visions of life are
sometimes as dreams
things to remember
as rippling streams.
Yet then so often
our visions will be
life as a whirlwind
with so much to see.
Our visions of life
will change day to day
as we continue
our daily display.

Stargazer

Like a stargazer
I stare at the sky
seeking a spaceship
near to fly by.
Watching the seconds
as hours will pass,
a stargazers sight
with an alien class.
Seeing the starlight
twinkle and shine,
I a stargazer
just look for a sign.
Seeking for something
that I do not know
a space craft flying,
a UFO.
Yes I a stargazer
look to the stars
also found searching
for Venus and Mars.
Time is no moment,
for minutes evade
a retired old man
with life to degrade.
A stargazer searches
to find a great view
in the night sky above
and day sky of blue.

A Mere Moment

A time when you look
and see your reflection
found within heartbeats
daily connection.
A mere moment
that finds you a smile
amidst of the journey
a dusty roads mile.
A time when you see
some shadows appear
fantastic moments
of your yesteryear.
Yes a mere moment
can brighten your day
with many memories
to lighten the gray.

Haiku
for July 30,  2016

Life is a page turned
that’s often noticed dog-eared
to remember times.

Displays of a heart
are often found as empty,
but be full instead.

Change is a wording
that many find confusing,
thinking life or cash.

Not moving forward
can become moving backwards
for you will not stay.

Beyond what we see
is a sight beyond our sight
that many will seek.

Nothing is something,
for it is actually time
that has not been found.

Nowhere is somewhere,
for if you say you’re nowhere,
it states you’re somewhere.

Exhibiting skies
with a few clouds passing by
becomes a picture.

Searching for others
a flower exposes life
as its own design.

A bumblebee’s life
is that of mere decisions
from day one of life.

Some autumn leaves fall
and their colors paint the wind
while they fall to Earth.

The voice of a dog
is not that it cannot speak,
but we don’t listen.

Challenges of time
are often just many fears
we should overcome.

Sidestepping people
leave many trails left and right
avoiding choices.

Scenes of the ocean
are as waves crashing ashore
becoming a dream.

Voids of creation
find many questions to ask
that have no answers.

Flavors of ice cream
change to love of emotions
filled with desire.

The length of rainbows
are immeasurable miles,
for they are but light.

Desires of life
comes as things that we’re wanting,
but yet do not need.

Various rivers
have no direction in life,
but just to wither.

A fire that burns
uses all that is needed
to keep it alive.

Sadness of a loss
is brightened by memories
when mourning has ceased.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

This passed week has been sort of warm,
especially today.  Of course nothing that
would compare to what it is down south of
us LOL.  Though with all of the freaking
humidity,  the 80’s are sweltering.  LOL I
can remember Judy and I talking on the
phone back in 2001 and her telling me it’s
hot and me asking how hot is it.  She said
85 F and I laughed and said it’s a 105 here.
But now I see that there is more humidity
up here at least it sure feels like it.  That
is what makes it feel hot.  If it were not
for all of the humidity,  it would not be so
bad,  but then our AC dehumidifier would
not cool us off LOL.  We’d have to always
use the air conditioner cool settings and
that would run our light bill up a ton more.
Our granddaughter Rylee had a birthday
last week.  She turned 9.  They waited to
celebrate it Saturday,  so yesterday they
had a Hawaiian luau.  I stayed home and
watched the boys.  I still had my poems
and haiku to write.  Plus I still don’t care
for going over to Judy’s ex’s house.  It
just bothers me.  Although I know all of
her kids live with him,  it still makes me
a bit unnerving with the thought of being
in his home.  Oh well,  me and the boys
had a good day.  I wrote all of my poetry
and haiku and edited them looking for
those nasty old type’s LOL while Benny
and Rocky stayed in the living room just
watching for mom/Judy to come home.
I stopped ever so often and went in and
played with them.  Then back to the old
writing grind.  We took the boys out for
a little field trip Wednesday and I took
them out again Thursday so they have
had a few runs in the field and loved it.
They are so cute how they will run side
by side bumping into one another.  It’s
a joyous sight.  It has rained off and on
this passed week.  Judy and them got
rained on a bit yesterday,  but it soon
passed.  She took a lot of pictures of the
luau.  Rylee got a lot of nice gifts.  When
I got done writing my poems and all as
well as editing,  the boys started barking
saying mom’s home.  Yep,  good timing.
She got home just in time to watch TV
with me.  One of our favorite programs
was just coming on,  Ghost Adventures.
Right now it’s 82 F degrees and yes it’s
humid.  My PC weather program says
there’s 90 degrees humidity in the air.
It’s going down.  Earlier it was 100 🙂
Both of the boys are in here with Judy
and I enjoying the AC 🙂  Being we only
have this portable air conditioner,  we
can only do one room at a time hehehe,
but by the time we’re ready for bed,  the
temperature has already cooled down
to where it’s actually quite nice.  Though
on the nights that it does not,  then that
portable AC gets aimed into our bedroom.
But for now,  the fans do a pretty good
job.  The weather up here is a far cry
from the weather in Texas and that’s no
lie LOL.  One thing that I truly miss in
Texas is my family and friends along
with the ability to drive down to Port
Aransas time to time as well as swim in
the swimming pool at the apartment
complex.  But now I see that Greenville
has acquired a Splash Kingdom and that
looks like a fun place to go.  Yet,  the
miles that separate us is too grand and
the travel is too much for us to be able
to do.  So,  we just enjoy the days that
God gives us.  I’m looking forward to
our lil trip down to southern Maine to
Baxter State Park next month.  Judy
said that her sister would watch the
boys for us,  but I think it would be
worth the money to take them to the
Katahdin Critters and let them meet
some new dogs and maybe even swim
in the doggie pool.  They aren’t much
on the liking of playing in water,  but
I figure if they see other dogs playing
and swimming in it,  then they’ll want
to as well.  Ya know,  that old monkey
see,  monkey do syndrome.  Yep,  if we
find that they liked swimming in the
pool then and only then will I dig out
their doggy pool.  It gets tiring trying
to keep the pool clean and all just for
them to get a drink of water out of it.
They do have water bowls ya know 🙂
And it’s hard on me to change out the
water when it gets scuzzy.  I’ve gotta lift
up the edges to get the water to pour
out.  Anyways,  we shall see.  One day
when we have enough money and can
find a doghouse that both of the boys
can use together,  we’ll get it.  The little
doghouse I bought for Benny is just too
small,  plus it is getting old and rickety.
It’s underneath the kiddy pool and the
picnic table covered with a tarp and too
hard to dig out.  Benny and Rocky are
inside dogs anyways aside from their
love to go out and play from time to
time,  but when they’re done,  they’re
ready to come back inside with mom
and dad.  We might not be wealthy
with money,  but we’re rich when it
comes to God’s love.  He has watched
over us an protected us while giving
us what we need.  Maybe not what we
want,  but our needs none the less 🙂
The boys are playing right behind me
and bumping into my chair hehehehe.
They will often play chase throughout
the house running from one end to the
other LOL.  Yep,  life at the Pearce’s
Place has gone to the dogs.  Now I
have to unload some of my aggravation.
I am literally sick of politics and will
be ever so glad when November is
here and gone.  It seems politics brings
out the worst in people.  People that
were once friends,  become enemies
and unless that friendship was tight,
they never become friends again.  I’ve
had a few of those moments.  I just
wish everyone would unite for the
common welfare of humanity and
cease with all the prejudice,  sexist,
racial and religious bickering.  We
are of the HUMAN RACE or that’s
what I had thought.  We should love
one another no matter their creed or
color.  Yes there are some bad people,
but that doesn’t make them all bad.
That’s like saying an American killed
a Mexican and that makes all of us
bad.  Nope,  there are bad seeds in
the lot of us,  but we need to look
for the good in people and not judge
them just because of something one
of their race,  creed or lineage did.
I have friends of many different races
and beliefs.  God looks at us as His
children.  Not black or white or other.
So many translate the bible to fit in
their own beliefs and not what it is
meant to say.  I have met many that
do not believe in ghost,  but in the
bible you see them spoken of many
times.  Even the Holy Ghost.  Yes,
there are many that pick the bible
to pieces to say what they want it
to say and not what it means,  Don’t
be one of those people.  Seek for
the blessings of love and peace and
release the doorway to anger that
you might now have the knob firmly
in your grasp.  Let God show you in
His way the things you need to know.
Let His Words resonate within you
as you try to do your very best in
life.  Yes you will falter,  but that is
our humanity.  We fail so to learn a
lesson.  Someone that’s never failed
has never done anything,  but then
yes they have,  because they failed to
try.  I think I have gone and rambled
quite enough now and it’s time for
me to be taking my little trip back
through all that I’ve written here to
see if I can find me a good word or
phrase that I can use for the title
for today’s brand new poem.  So it’s
away I go to that little place of my
recollection that I always like to
call RECOLLECT VILLE and it
looks like I may have found me a
decent title just a little ways back
in my rambling.  Now it’s time to
see if I can do anything with it 🙂
Here goes…….

The Human Race

The you and I
in me and you
is human race
not what we do.
We’re a family
you and I
the human race
with where and why.
We ask questions
you and me
the human race
we don’t agree.
So the doorways
paths we find
the human race
needs save mankind.
Seek the sameness
you and I
the human race
as time goes by.
Let God guide you
now and then
the human race
to less of sin.
Yet we’re sinners
you and me
the human race
that many see.
But we’re truly
seen the same
the human race
God’s Holy Name.

There ya go.  I know it’s not one of my
better poems,  but I gave it a gungho 🙂
I hope my rambling didn’t bore you to
sleep LOL.  I know I tend to drift from
1 topic to the other in a heartbeat LOL.
My sister is doing well.  I believe she’s
only got 1 more day of radiation  that’s
scheduled.  Then God be willing she will
be cancer free.  Please keep her in your
prayers.  Mom says she’s gotten really
weak due to the radiation,  but God is
with her.  So what else is there to tell
you before I continue with closing this
mess?  Oh yea  my bro Mark Green
came through surgery with flying colors
and he is doing very well.  So I reckon
that’s about all to tell you aside from
what I tell you every week and that is,
I wrote some more poems and haiku.
Yep,  10 more poems and 1 of them is
a Christmas poem 🙂  Also once again
I wrote 22 haiku for all of the haiku
lovers out there.  Now I believe it’s
time for me to begin my search for
that not so elusive off switch,  but not
before I wish you a most wondeful
weekend or whatever is left of it and
a blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  So
OK,  where are ya hiding this week
ya silly little off switch?  Hmmmmm,
what is that I see behind the bubbles
that I bought to blow and let the boys
chase them?  LOL,  yeppers,  that
is you.  Ya thought I wouldn’t look
over there didn’t ya!  Well stand up
and bow,  because you’re caught 🙂
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzz.

Too Deep

Beneath a thought
and waves of time
there might just be
a thinking mind.
Too deep the focus
and moments gaze
many continue
their stir minded ways.
A cup of emotions
filled with conceptions
might be too deep
for others perceptions.
Within a road
with footsteps upon
there might be many
with right and wrong.
Life is a story
that time frames will keep
sometimes too shallow
sometimes too deep.

So True

A chocolate dream
and raspberry mind
builds an emotion
that so many find.
So true the minutes,
so true the days,
a peanut butter scent
on chocolate parfaits.
Desserts so Heavenly
as pie a la mode
while filling ones tummies
to make them explode.
Maybe a cherry
on top oh so sweet
of the fabulous moment
soon you will eat
Caramel covered ice cream
with berries so blue.
This is what many think
ice cream so true.

Essence Of Style

Rippling waters
of oceans divine,
the essence of style
is now on my mind.
Time as a painting,
pictures for free
so many memories
of the blue sea.
The essence of style
brings forth a scene
a minute, a moment
found in a dream.
Somewhere a picture
brings moments alive
where time is remembered
to surely survive.
Found as a memoir,
a moments turnstile
there is oceans time
essence of style.

A Christmas Summer

Those magical moments
of Christmastimes joy
bring back the memories,
me as a little boy.
The heat now of summer
cannot prevent time
the thoughts deep within me
of Decembers mind.
Within every second
of heartbeats array
a Christmas summer
lives on now today.
Throughout the mornings
until every night
a Christmas summer
lives on I delight.
Though as the minutes
and hours pass by
a Christmas summer
soon tells us goodbye.
Then with November
and December to come
Christmas awakens
in wintertime’s sun.
Yet now my memories
are helping me find
a Christmas summer
to live on my mind.

Beneath The Sky

A page of beauty
blue and white
I look up seeing
day and night.
Beneath the sky
I sit and gaze,
watching moments
changing phase.
The clouds float by
creating scenes
some as magical
rushing streams.
Times a portal
some to fade
beneath the sky
a moment made.
Looking up
some birds fly by
I see this all
beneath the sky.
The change of date
and times attained
beneath the sky
looks as it’s framed.
A picture portrait
of you and me,
the clouds might form
so we can see.
Beneath the sky
I search so deep
to find some peace
to help me sleep.

In An Instant

Quick as a flash
you might be there
a place,  a face
in need of prayer.
In an instant
life moves on
then one day
it’s surely gone.
Peoples choices,
peoples dreams
might just end up
filled with screams.
In an instant
you might be
a place,  a time
in history.
As repeated
time that’s passed
in an instant
shadows cast.
Lessons values
might foretell
what that’s Heaven,
what that’s Hell.

Rush Hour

In a hurry
people move,
striving for
their daily groove.
Minutes ticking
pages turn
while rush hour
brings the burn.
Scenes pass quickly
not to show
when you hurry
where you go.
Take it slowly
time to time
leave rush hour,
find sublime.
See the passing
scenes of day,
look for blessings
wondrous way.
Peace be with you
less rush hour.
Search to see
a blooming flower.
Heart to heart
Lord God appears
as rush hour
dissapears.

Wheel Of Fortune

The wanting of many
are the needs of a few
as the wheel of fortune
spins around me and you.
Wishers and dreamers
are often found sad,
not being thankful
for all that they’ve had.
Yet dreamers of truth
and what that can be
bring to life visions
that one day we’ll see.
The wheel of fortune
is a moments desire
often with passion
that might just catch fire.
But yet that big wheel
is often found flat
with ones in depression
of where that they’re at.
Sometimes that fortune
is found deep inside
as a big wheel of hopeful
with Lord God applied.

The Lone Ranger

Stood in a large room
I searched hard to see
the connection to others
that I found in me.
Yet the lone ranger
was I as I stood
the days of my life
I my own neighborhood.
So many people
would think they’re the same
with their own version
that they would explain.
But I was so different
as life went its way
as I the lone ranger
went day after day.
Only a few knew me,
but even they lacked
the knowledge of me
with thinking off track.
My poetic phrases
that came to my mind
was I the lone ranger
with my own design.
Even my insight
in life to and fro
was I the lone ranger
with no one to know.

As Time Goes By

The blink of an eye
can miss such a view
as a cloud overhead
or a true sky of blue.
As time goes by
and minutes are seen
time finds a way
for a magical bean.
Maybe no beanstalk
and no Jack at all
in the blink of an eye
for a giant to fall.
But a few flowers blooming
will grow from a seed
as time goes by
sometimes as a weed.
The viewpoints of life
are versions ones see
you within yours
and mine within me.
We need many blessings
from Lord God on High
to give us good guidance
as time goes by.

Haiku
for July 23,  2016

A minutes moment
might leave a large emotion
in your memories.

A change in lifestyle
does not prove change from within,
only time will tell.

Mysteries of life
are as flowers yet to bloom
and pages to turn.

Lost in a whirlwind
the seed of a flower blows,
to still be planted.

Beyond the starlight
holds visions of miracles,
not yet discovered.

Life in a bubble
will leave you without lessons
from the bumpy roads.

Trial and error
are the patterns that teach us
what we’re not to do.

Debating choices
often leaves ones in anger
if they choose other.

A true friend in life
will not care about issues,
accepting you as you.

War is a disease
that contaminates our lives,
thinking we’re better.

Many challenges
are but only challenges
and nothing much else.

Elusion of life
finds many empty pathways
without a lesson.

Shadows in the dark
show choices of perception,
but not always right.

Hopeful tomorrows
come from good choices today
and our yesterdays.

Our envisioned dreams
can become what that’s better
or what that is not.

Fruitful devices
can give us all that we need,
but also much bad.

Breathing in a breath
gives life a chance to flourish
or to spew hatred.

A worried mans face
might expose many pathways
of sadness and joy.

A soul in silence
will hold its breath and not breathe
to go unnoticed.

Darkness comes to life
as a ghost might hide within
to just seek some peace.

Disillusioned minds
will often head the wrong way
in search of the truth.

A thunderstorms roar
speaks of lightning within it
that brightens a night.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

Another week has passed and we are still
walking along with New England’s summer.
Of course up where we are it doesn’t get
quite as warm as it does in the lower New
England states.  Judy and I have had an
eventful week.  OK,  maybe not so much as
what you would call eventful LOL.  To us,
anything that requires movement in any
form or fashion is eventful hehehe.  We
though took a drive down south of us to
Cutler Maine Wednesday.  Yep,  the boys
came along with us and I think they had
a blast.  We stopped ever so often to let
them out to stretch their little legs and go
potty,  on a leash of course.  Didn’t want
them running off getting hurt.  We took a
ton of pictures on our trip as we stopped
here and there.  I of course did my usual
an took pictures while she drove hehehe.
It was wonderful day for a drive and we
got a lot of great pictures.  We stopped
off at a lakes public boat dock and let
the boys out.  Judy and I took them out
on the dock and Rocky was mesmerized
with the water.  It looked as though he
was wanting to jump in for a swim,  but
aside from the fact he was on a leash,  he
might of gotten a bit chilly hehehe.  The
lake was spring fed and the water was
ice cold LOL.  You could tell because
the water was so clear that you could se
the bottom which I am fairly sure was
at least 6 or 7 feet deep where we were
standing.  Judy and I got a lot of nice
pictures of the boys and a few of Rocky
looking down at the water.  He went
side to side on the dock to look at the
water.  Right now I am hearing thunder
in the distance.  We might get a little
rain today.  I don’t mind.  The rain is
like a serenading song as it beats its
rhythmic beat on the roof of our home 🙂
I love to watch the lightning streaking
and listen to the thunder.  It’s a time
that I truly enjoy.  Of course I’m sure
that the view can change if a tornado or
other were to be in the mix :),  but as
long as it’s just lightning and thunder
with raindrops mixed in,  it’s a blessing.
OK back to our trip down south LOL.
When we got near the ocean or should
I say a bay,  it seems that the tide was
out and all we could see was mud and
people out there digging up clams.  We
both looked at each other and said,  I
hope there was not a tsunami that we
did not know about and the water was
going to come rushing back in at any
moment 🙂  Nope,  it was just the tide.
I had never seen it go out that far,  but
then we were only looking at a bay to
where it was not that deep to begin with.
Anyways,  we made it to Cutler and we
took a lot of pictures of us and the boys.
I wanted a picture of her and I with the
ocean bay and ships right behind us,
so I sat my camera on top of our car
and aimed it,   then set the 10 second
timer and hurried to get to where the
camera was aimed.  Then when I knew
where to stand,  I told Judy to get out
of the car and stand in front of the cone
and I set the timer again and hurried to
be by her side and believe it or not,  the
picture was perfect.  LOL good thing,
because I only took one picture and it
was too bright outside to see the little
screen on my camera to tell whether or
not I got a good shot or not.  I had to
straiten up the picture and crop out the
hood of the car and all,  but the picture
couldn’t of been better.  LOL sitting on
the top of the car wasn’t guarantying that
the picture would be straight or anything.
We stopped off at the Million Dollar View
on the way down there and took a few
pictures and yes we took many of the
boys.  We stopped off at a few roadside
rest areas too.  LOL between Judy and I
we took over 400 pictures.  Many times
we took pictures of the same thing and
so I kept the best of each and deleted
the blurry ones and duplicates.  It still
left me with tons of photos.  On the way
home,  Judy saw a big nest with what we
thought at the moment an eagle in it and
she stopped so I could take a few pictures.
It turned out to be what we think was a
hawk,  but it still made for a nice picture.
I took a lot of pictures faraway and zoomed
in and as I said,  it was too bright to tell
if I got some good shots.  I didn’t use my
view finder mainly because I didn’t think
of it LOL.  I’ve kind of gotten used to using
that little 1 and a half inch LCD screen 🙂
I most times use my view finder when
I am zooming in on something a long
ways away and I don’t mean a few yards
away LOL.  If I’m trying to take a picture
of the moon I will most definitely use my
view finder 🙂  I’m sure I’ll put many of
the pictures in my stationery.  Oh yea,
I finally finished with Judy’s lighthouse.
I made a ladder for it an screwed it onto
the base leading up to the lighthouse and
then screwed down the base real good
to the lighthouse.  It’s now outside being
our driveway beacon 🙂  I finished with
it yesterday and when Judy got home
from her niece’s house last night she was
greeted by the lighthouse.  She had gone
over there for a pig roast and I’ve got
some bad memories of pig roast LOL
aside from the fact that I wanted to finish
the lighthouse and get it out of the living
room.  It was in the way.  Something else
about yesterday.  It was Benny’s birthday
and Rocky’s adopted birthday being we
have no clue of his actual birthday,  so
we gave him Benny’s birthday.   Rocky
was a sort of birthday present to Benny.
We got Rocky on July 16 2015,  Benny’s
birthday 🙂  Anyways,  we figured that
Rocky couldn’t be more than a year
old so as of yesterday,  Rocky is 2 years
old and Benny is 5.  Benny’s the big bro
now.  OK maybe the older bro.  Rocky
has him a bit on size hehehe.  I sang
Happy Birthday to the both of them and
gave them treats.  They were happy,
but I’m quite sure they had no clue of
what was going on other than they were
getting treats LOL.  I got a picture of
them sitting side by side in the recliner.
The week was a very special one.  Next
month we’re going to head down south of
us to Baxter ST Park and take the boys to
a doggy day care being they don’t allow
dogs at the park.  I’m sure Benny and
Rocky will have a blast at the Katahdin
Critters.  It was recommended by the park
officials.  I am excited.  It will be a day
of picture taking.  We more than likely
will bring some food for a picnic.  I sure
hope Yogi and Boo Boo don’t come by
and try to steal our picnic basket hehehe.
Anyways,  that’s about all from our neck
of the woods.  God has been very good
to us and brought us many blessings.
I know we have a few pitfalls in life,  but
it’s with the pitfalls that we notice the
many blessings that otherwise would just
pass us by unnoticed.  Thank God for
the pitfalls and problems,  for they are
the prescription glasses to help us to
see the blessings when they come.  Now,
I believe it’s time for me to be reading
back through all that I’ve written here
to see if I can find a good word or phrase
that I can use for the title for today’s new
poem.  So it’s away I go to that place of
my recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I found
a good title about a 3rd of the way down
from the beginning of my rambling LOL.
Now to see if I can do anything with it.
Here goes……….

Near The Ocean

Waves are churning
making true
the sounds of waters
ocean blue.
Scenes are setting
changing phase
near the ocean
in our gaze.
Times are counted
ships roll in
from the point
they did begin.
Near the ocean
sights are seen
colors painted
aquamarine.
The day is made
as time moves on
from dusk to dusk
and dawn to dawn.
Lives are billowed
stages set
actors of
a fisherman’s net.
Lobsters gathered
to the shore
near the ocean
sought for more.
Time is ticking,
time to go
near the ocean
to and fro.
As the day ends
left meets right
near the ocean
dark of night.

So,  as you can see,  I have the ocean on my
mind.  I miss Port Aransas TX.   It was one
of my very favorite places.  I’m glad I made
a lot of videos of the ocean when Judy and I
were down there.  I can pull a video of Port
Aransas and sit back and enjoy the waves
or even our dolphin and lighthouse cruise 🙂
Those are memories that I will remember
to my grave.  Judy and I would often head
out early in the morning to take pictures of
the sunrise as it peeked out from behind the
ocean.  Too many memories to write about,
at least here hehehe.  I would never finish
this journal at that rate LOL.  I hope you
enjoyed my poem and it brought you peace.
Also I hope you were not bored to tears
with my rambling hehehe.  I once again
need you to continue praying for my sister.
So now I reckon it’s time for me to tell you
what I tell you almost every week and that
is I wrote some more poems and haiku.  Yep,
10 more poems and 22 more haiku for all of
the haiku lovers out there.  Nope,  I didn’t
write any Christmas poems this week LOL.
Maybe next week 🙂  So,  with that said,  I
think it’s time for me to begin my search
for that not so great at hiding off switch,
but before I do that I must wish you a most
wonderful weekend or whatever’s left of it
and a truly blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  Now,  hmm,
where could that ornery whippersnapper be
hiding this week?  OK,  so you’re getting
better,  but still,  you might want to think
about where you’re going have to stay
hidden for a while before actually doing it.
Hiding inside my aspirin bottle was a good
place maybe if you were not going to be
there for more than,  say,  a second or 2,
but a number of minutes only made the
bottle shake as you began gasping for air.
LOL OK,  you’re out.  Now think more
wisely next week hehehe and oh yea,
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S  A link to Judy’s new book as at
the end of the journal along with the
others.  Enjoy 🙂

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Far Beyond A Star

With eyes wide open
many sights we see
are so far beyond
what is thought to be.
Mysteries of space
are stories to find
far beyond a star
another days time.
Seen as a painting
we look up above
far beyond a star
to an essence of love.
Our imaginations
can carry us away
far beyond a star
to another display.
Scenes that we’ve dreamed of
from near to afar
are places out in space
far beyond a star.

Making Friends

People walking
passing by
makes so many
want to cry.
Making friends
is not easy
for ones sometimes
turn out sleazy.
Step by step
the time depends
not to give up
making friends.
Life’s a journey
far and wide
making friends
a bumpy ride.
Often friendship
is not gained,
but a lesson
is attained.
Making friends
from day to day
needs some faith
with time to pray.

The Winds Of Time

Minutes are stirring
as time moves along
while ones are singing
a memories song.
The winds of time
are pages of style
displayed as journals
frowns and a smile.
Scenes of great starlight
and a moon overhead
display the pathways
the winds of time said.
Words of some dewdrops
that sprinkle about
may whisper softly
while they’re chilling out.
Now is just a moment
of God’s Own design
found in the pages,
the winds of time.

Whispers

Night finds heartbeats
in the dark
and a whispers
own remark.
Maybe chilling
frightful scenes
as the whispers
in your dreams.
Yet the pathways
journeyed to
might be whispers
meant for you.
In the darkness
there might be
something there
you’re meant to see.
Maybe hopeful
prayerful seen
found in whispers
of a dream.

Imagine Peace

The lives of many
are needing peace
as stormy days
give no release.
The torrent echoes
as nightmares
filled with sadness
needing prayers.
Imagine peace now
living breathing
giving people
what they’re needing.
Some look away
not wishing to see
the images there
that’s not you or me.
So take time today
and imagine peace
and pray that it comes
to give them release.

The Close Of Day

With evenings sign
that hangs so dim
the close of day
is on the limb.
Trees with shadows
branches swaying
the close of day
with all it’s saying.
Seasons journey
speaks its mind
the close of day
with each design
Some days raindrops
some days snow
the close of day
puts on a show.
Time is seconds,
moments sway
found within
the close of day.

Before The Rain

Winds might blow
to give a glance
clouds to form
their song and dance.
Maybe lightning
thunder too
before the rain
will be in view.
Maybe echoes
far and wide
before the rain
falls from the sky.
Even rainbows
may appear
before the rain
and seem sincere.
Clouds might billow
their romance
before the rain
of song and dance.

Matters Of Time

Thought is a pattern
found in the mind,
life as a journey
matters of time.
Lengths are imprinted
lines on a face,
matters of time
for ones to embrace.
Heaven is waiting
for new lives to be
matters of time
for you and for me.
Patience is virtue
that many don’t find
with every footstep
matters of time.
Don’t let your footing
to cause you to fall
with matters of time
and life’s bouncing ball.
Let Jesus help you
with each step you take,
for matters of time
shows blessings awake.

The Moons Reprise

Night is joined with
stars that shine
along with the moon
with its design.
Sometimes a portion,
sometimes a lot
the moons reprise
cannot be bought.
It glimmers brightly
often at night
while sometimes seen
with sunshine so bright.
The moons reprise
is a continued form
performed as a sliver
to new moon born.
Stories of a moon man
that smiles every night
is the moons reprise
with reflected light.
Time is a factor
it does not see,
the moons reprise
of history.

Dunes Of Life

Travels of lifestyles
can become a place
seen as a desert
filled with disgrace.
The dunes of life
are billows of scenes
some as nightmares,
some as dreams.
Many times troubles
are just but a phase
giving us lessons
to learn better ways.
Yet many storm clouds
will surely then burst
with the dunes of life
that you have rehearsed.
Learn what that’s good
and what not to do
from the dunes of life
that you have gone through.

Haiku
for July 16,  2016

A second will pass
leaving minutes remembered
that seem as a day.

The edge of darkness
holds mysteries within it
that light might not see.

Chance is a value
that many will overrate
and fall on their face.

Risk of a beetle
is that of continuing
without being mashed.

The flight of a bird
holds many scenarios
that we cannot see.

Paths of a Earth worm
are done without any sight,
but it will manage.

Within the ocean
there’s life that we cannot see
in the depths so deep.

A cloudless morning
does not mean rain will not come,
for clouds might show up.

Past unto present
brings to light journeys to find
maybe not so proud.

Lost in a whirlwind
a bird will flutter quickly
to seek a way out.

A dandelion dies
to live on another day
as it sheds its seeds.

Summer shows secrets
that only it knows right then
and then they’re displayed.

Showers of morning
fill the air with a flavor,
aroma of rain.

Thoughts of a tadpole
might not perceive its future
until it’s ready.

Where life continues
you’ll find where it also ends
as pathways connect.

A bumblebee’s life
is predestined from the start,
so it deals with it.

Never becomes ever
when never cannot exist,
for it must happen.

Highlights of evening
are the scenes that come alive
and look like magic.

Beyond a doorway
a window might be opened
allowing entrance.

The best of the best
will still be with many flaws,
for we are human.

Headlights found shining
might be life coming your way
or many troubles.

A slithering snake
makes its way across a road,
while fearing its fate.

Your frosty friend Bill 🙂

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been a sort of rainy passed few days up
here,  but nothing compared to what I have
been seeing others hit with.  Also,  it’s been
fairly nice temperature wise.  The high for
today is 59 F which is what it is right now
at 2 PM.  It’s supposed to be a bit warmer
beginning tomorrow,  but still not too bad 🙂
Tomorrows high is supposed to be around
76 F degrees.  We’ve had a fairly peaceful
week.  Judy and I took the boys out for a
few field trips and took a lot of pictures 🙂
The boys always enjoy going for a run in
the field.  LOL they tend to become deaf
when they get out there too.  Hollering at
the top of my lungs they will still ignore me
when I say it’s time to go home unless of
course they are ready and or hungry and
thirsty hehehe.  Rocky will usually be the
first to acknowledge that he hears me,  but
Benny will do his best to block me out of
his mind up until he sees me walking up
to him and then he starts paying attention.
LOL in any case,  they’re good boys.  A
bit ornery at times,  but good boys hehehe.
They’re both sleeping in the floor in their
doggy beds right between Judy and I at
the moment.  Next topic.  We had a nice
4th of July.  I stayed home with the boys
while Judy went over to her sister’s house
for a cookout.  I wasn’t feeling up to being
around a lot of people.  I had not gotten
any sleep and I figured I would  of been
irritable and just been miserable.  I did
though finally when I got a little bit of rest
take the boys out for a little field trip and
even got a picture of me and the boys on
the porch.  Nope no fireworks.  I don’t
do fireworks,  but I don’t mind watching
them 🙂  Though there were none to see
near where we live.  Judy said that they
didn’t shoot off fireworks at her sister’s
house either maybe due to the fact that
they have 4 yorkies.  Anyways,  she said
she had a nice time,  but was happy to
get home.  The boys totally missed her 🙂
Judy’s been busy writing another book.
I am so proud of that gal.  It’s nice to
see her back at writing.  She has quite
an imagination and writing fiction is
right up her alley.  She is also a pretty
good poet.  She doesn’t write near as
much as I do,  but then I know no one
that writes as much as I do hehehe 🙂
None the less,  she’s my favorite author.
Well,  it looks like the temperature is
going down now.  It’s 57 F degrees at
3:30 PM and it feels GREAT to me 🙂
It’s sprinkling a bit.  The boys hate to
go outside when it’s raining LOL.  We
literally have to shove them outside
to go potty sometimes.  It’s either that
or finding pee and poop around the
house.  Benny of course would rather
just hold it rather than go out in the
rain,  which often leads to him with
a facial expression looking like he’s
in deep thought LOL.  We don’t want
the boys to become constipated or for
that matter have their bladders burst
so outside they go, rain sleet or snow.
We’ve tried a potty pad,  but could
never get them to use it for anything
other than something to chew apart
with pads found strung out around the
house LOL.  The good part is,  that
they both love the snow and in most
cases,  Benny would rather be out in
the snow instead of inside,  but then
he does get cold and that’s when he
will finally be ready to come inside to
warm up.  We’ve bought them doggy
sweaters and raincoats,  but they are
not so crazy about them hehehe.  We
do though put them on them when we
feel it’s necessary.  Yeppers,  this old
house has a lot of entertainment if you
are not hard to be entertained hehehe.
Judy’s in the kitchen now preparing
our dinner.  She’s making chicken and
dumplings in the Crock Pot.  It should
be ready in 3 or 4 hours.  She makes
good chicken and dumplings 🙂  Judy
and I take turns cooking dinner and
what not.  That’s the way it should be.
I see no reason that the wife or the
husband should be locked into 1 thing
that they are to do unless of course
there are health issues preventing you
from doing things.  I was raised up in
a home that mom and dad took turns
doing dishes if they did not stand side
by side,  one washing, one drying and
they often would trade off on who did
dinner.  The same with mowing the
lawn.  It was who ever was able to do
it that mowed the lawn.  My mom has
mowed the lawn many times hehehe.
My sister wasn’t too crazy about it
until we got a riding lawnmower and
then we could hardly get her off of it.
LOL talk about wild.  That of course
was way back when we lived out in
the country down near south shore
at Lake Tawakani in Texas.  Those
were the days.  I enjoyed going fishing
with my Pawpaw on the lake late at
night.  We would head out in his boat
to our favorite fishing spots and just
sit and enjoy the sounds of the water
as it lapped against the side of the boat.
We’d catch us a mess of fish and then
head home and clean them side by side
while Grandmother waited to take them
and either put them in the freezer or fry
them up for dinner that night.  Those
were the greatest of times.  I will never
forget all of the blessings from those
years.  Grandmother made the BEST
fried apple pies I ever tasted.  She would
make up a batch of them and send them
across the road to me and I’d eat them
up and send back the plate for a refill 🙂
Yeppers,  God gave me many things to
be grateful for.  It makes me wish at
times that I had never grown up and
time could of stood still,  but that would
not be reality and would of prevented
me from the blessings of today and all
of the blessings I found throughout my
life.  Still the memories live on.  Thank
You God,  for all that you have given to
me and all that you have allowed to make
me a better man.  Have you thanked God
lately for the things that you may have
gone through that actually strengthened
you,  but at the moment were miserable?
If not,  then why not today.  God gives us
blessings every day,  but so often they are
in form of things we need to go through
to get us where we need to be.  The sad
part is that many will give up before they
find the lessons and throw in the towel.
Have faith that it will all work out to
the way that it is meant to be if you just
do the best you can and not become so
judgmental that you push others away
because of your pride,  ego or beliefs.
Now,  I believe it’s time for me to be
taking my little journey back through
all that I’ve written here to see if I can
find a good word or phrase that I can use
for the title for today’s brand new poem.
I think I may have stumbled on a good
title just a few lines back.  Now let’s see
if I can do anything with it.  Here goes 🙂

Where We Need To Be

As a time frames displayed
and our journeys degrade
where we need to be
might surely be inlaid.
The tools of our existence
are the things we’ve been through
time frames encountered
to do what they do.
The blessings of a moment
might look just like a weed,
but the facts of a minute
might give what we need.
Yes,  where we need to be
might look a bit insane
but as the minutes turn
we’ll look upon the gain.
The stories of our journeys
might so early be of hate,
but where we need to be
might surely show its fate.
Sometimes what we’re wanting
is not so good to see
and God will change the pathways
where we need to be.

There ya go.  I hope you liked the poem and
maybe even understood it.  Also I hope you
enjoyed my rambling.  We live a quiet life up
here.  OK,  so it’s not always quiet especially
when the boys want treats LOL.  Aside from
that though it’s usually pretty peaceful.  Our
landlord came by yesterday and did a little
weed eating in front of our house.  Judy was
over at her brother’s house with a few other
family members cleaning it up a bit so that
if Ricky is ever able to come home from the
nursing home,  it will be waiting,  but sad
to say,  the house is in much disrepair and it
might cost too much to fix.  Anyways,  when
she got home she noticed that Calvin cut
all of the Daisies with his weed whacker 🙂
I said,  they’ll grow back hehehe.  After all
they are just pretty weeds LOL.  She knew
that,  but I just couldn’t help myself.  They
are very pretty the same as Dandelions,
but even they are but only just pretty weeds.
LOL I think at some point in their lifespan
they must of figured out that if we bloom
a pretty flower,  then people won’t want
to cut us down hehehe.  Ya can’t tell me
that plants don’t think LOL.  So before
I get into rambles mode again I need to
ask you once again to please keep Peggy,
my sister in your prayers and also my old
bro Mark Green.  He had some blood
clots removed and he is now in a lot of
pain from the surgeries.  So now it’s time
for me to be telling you what I tell you
almost every week and that is I wrote
some more poems and haiku.  Yeppers,
10 more poems with 1 being a Christmas
poem.  I also once again wrote 22 haiku
for all of the haiku lovers out there. Oh
yea,  yesterday I got in the writing mode
and wrote 4 more poems and so that ups
to number of poems to 14 🙂  I hope you
can find 1 or 2 of either or both that you
like.  Now I believe it’s time for me to
begin my search for that not so great at
hiding off switch,  but not before I wish
you a most wonderful weekend or what
ever is left of it and a truly blessings
filled week.  Remember,  Jesus loves
you and we do too.  Alrighty then LOL,
where are ya hiding this week ya little
whippersnapper?  Hmm,  that couldn’t
be you that I see playing peekaboo in
a paper towel that is lying right in front
of me,  could it be?  LOL 🙂 yep,  once
again you’re need to see if I can see you
has foiled you again.  Try harder please.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S  A link to Judy’s new book as at
the end of the journal along with the
others.  Enjoy 🙂

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10+4 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Thinking Thoughts

Times remembered
certain cost
find us often
thinking thoughts.
Then as echoes
found repeated
giving what all
that we needed.
Thinking thoughts
of wants desires
often builds some
hefty fires.
Lessons growing
then become
patterns of a
drummers drum.
Rhythms sing
a mornings frost
found in moments
thinking thoughts.

Summer Begins

The season shines
what days record
timeless frames
from my sweet Lord.
Summer begins
with scenes we find
some with photos,
some with mind.
Captured pictures
time transcends
spending summer
with our friends.
Sometimes swimming
having fun
underneath
that summer sun.
The stage is set
for seasons sights
summers days
and summers nights.
Often filled with
much emotion
on a sea shore
by the ocean.
Yet so many
old and gray
just enjoying
day by day.
Sitting watching
time transcends
breezes blowing
summer begins.

Without Yesterday

The times we’ve seen
or learned to view
are surely lessons
through and through.
Without yesterday
we could not find
the tools to use
to shape our mind.
It’s through the past
that now displays
lessons learned
from yesterdays.
Pages we’ve turned
to help succeed
while many seek wants
and others seek need.
Without yesterday
our time would be new
lessons ungathered
to show what to do.
So look at what’s done
and now on display
for we cannot grow
without yesterday.

Simply Bewildered

A minute will come
and then fall from sight
leaving you wondering
what’s wrong or right.
Simply bewildered
the time frames might be
found as your focus
on times history.
A book with a cover
might wrongly display
words deep within it
that many will say.
Simply bewildered
a moment might find
you with confusion
of some point and time.
Often our emotions
will be out of tune
simply bewildered
from sun unto moon.

Seeking The Snow

The sun of the summer
shines down oh so bright
as seasonal pictures
are found every sight.
It’s too hot to handle
this summertime view,
so I’m seeking the snow
to fall down anew.
Wanting those snowflakes
so white fancy free
to provide all the changes
in summer I see.
Then as the snowflakes
display day and night
I’ll know that Christmas
will soon be in sight.
That sweet Christmas music
will chime through the air
blessings uncountable
filled full of prayer.
Yes,  I’m seeking the snow
through summertime days,
because I love Christmas
its magical ways.
Heartfelt emotions
just seem to explode
Christmastimes value
that hearts have bestowed.
So seeking the snow
is a pathway I trod
though there are many
that think I am odd.
The true path of snowflakes
is that of pure white
the same of Lord Jesus
His Love shining bright.
Time becomes glimmers
of life to and fro
found within Christmastime
seeking the snow.

Our Connections

You and I
we’re connected
through the past
that times collected.
Our connections
you and I
are created
low and high.
The beginning
showed but one
our connections
was begun.
Then was two
with times detail
our connections
had set sail.
Love brought more
to become seen
our connections
from a gene.
Life’s emotions
finds a way
our connections
to display.
Time is counted
by and by
our connections
then apply.
We’ve so many
young and old
our connections
story’s told.
Yet it’s factual
we must be
some connections
we can’t see.
Some will push
and some will shove
our connections
less of love.
But the only
peace we’ll find
is our connections
peace of mind.

Pandora’s Box

Looking fast forward
throughout many words
some tell their lies
like a large flock of birds.
Not having truthful
with all that is spoken
Pandora’s box is
found as wide open.
Miseries turnstile
comes into view
as all of your lies
will come and haunt you.
A liars own lifestyle
might never find peace
unless all the lying
finds truthful release.
Yet if the liars den
does not detox
the pain from the game
finds Pandora’s Box.

A Penny For Price

Mornings arrival
brings forth a scene,
sometimes as white,
sometimes as green.
Each moment displayed
brings into frame
a new days emotion
that’s not of the same.
A penny for price
might seem not a cost,
but some for a penny
is greater the loss.
It’s whom that is seeing
those moments displayed
that determines the price
in how they’re portrayed.
You might not see clear
the same as another,
a penny for price
might be a bit further.
We all have a view
through eyes that we see
a penny for price
might blossom for free.
God gives us scenes
to discover each day,
but so many only
just throw them away.
A penny for price
might not seem a lot,
but to other people,
can never be bought.

Beneath The Moon

Through night the stars
will shine and sing
with song and dance
and all they bring.
Beneath the moon
the shadows show
true life on Earth
and how we grow.
The stars will glitter
shining bright
with ones watching
all the night.
Beneath the moon
so many find
a heartfelt love
inside their mind.
That moon so large
with essence found
displays journeys
all around.
The oceans tide
will grow and cease
beneath the moon
and give us peace.
A sliver of moon
that shimmers and shines
is even better
than moonless times.
The scenes of shadows
will sing and dance
beneath the moon
through its romance.
Many heartbeats
beneath the moon
will search the stars
and start to swoon.
Life as a rhythm
finds ways to sing,
beneath the moon
each season to spring.
Moments of joyful
counted so true,
beneath the moon
our lives are anew.

Tomorrow’s Hope

Lives beginning
young to old
tomorrow’s hope
will unfold.
Like a story
written true
tomorrow’s hope
comes into view.
Some close minded,
some just blind
tomorrow’s hope
for all man kind.
Many people
only see
tomorrow’s hope
that they agree.
It’s our standards
wanted gain
tomorrow’s hope
is drove insane.
Take a breath now
look inside
tomorrow’s hope
that is denied.
It’s ones egos
found so large
tomorrow’s hope
that wants in charge.
Lose the blindness
seek to see
tomorrow’s hope
for you and me.
Don’t let prideful
to destroy
tomorrow’s hope
that can employ.
Men and women
you and I
tomorrow’s hope
needs fresh supply.

A Heartbeats Second

Ticking as a minutes time
a heartbeats second sounds
ringing through the atmosphere
and all that then surrounds.
A heartbeat of a second is
a time that many see,
while some might just look away
to not see you and me.
Love is a true emotions sense
that finds us near and far
within a heartbeats second found
beneath a falling star.
Time begins its pathway seen
as many find their way
to a heartbeats second then
another distant day.
Love is such a potent force
it finds its way to park
in anothers time and space
in daylight and in dark.
The heartbeat is a rhythm true
that finds ones to discern
as the seconds tick away
for love to have a turn.
For within a heartbeats second
time becomes a place
found when people search inside
to find love face to face.

Chance Of Rain

Clouds are forming
in the sky,
bringing chances
rain to fly.
Scenes becoming
times to see,
chance of rain
a slight degree.
Pathways driven
downward motion,
some with rain
into the ocean.
A book of clouds
will open wide
giving raindrops
quite a ride.
Some upon
our windowpane,
scenes I find
a chance of rain.

Looking Passed

Now is certain
not for sure
ticking passage
time to pour.
Looking passed the
now and then
yesterday might
not have been.
Lessons learned as
wisdom’s pain
looking passed then
shows insane.
True emotions
finds ones dead
looking in their
moments head.
Many people
move to fast
missing lessons
looking passed.

The Typhoons Life

Typhoons blowing,  maybe growing
screaming day and night.
Winds bestowing,  tree limbs blowing
giving such a fright.
Life’s emotions from the oceans
typhoons weather wind.
Many notions for the motions
find ones to transcend.
Moments hurry finds much worry
night and day to see.
Typhoons scurry,  making blurry
all that is to be.
Seasons turning,  times discerning
pages found with pain.
Typhoons whirring,  minutes burning
making ones insane.
Prayer then gathers what that matters
life to find relief
as ones rather finds what matters
filling ones with peace.
The typhoons life that was with strife
is then without a way
while seasons rife that roared to life
finds a better day.
Prayer is flourished,  making nourished
strength to find within
while encouraged,  not discouraged
sunshine to begin.

Haiku
for July 8,  2016

Lines upon faces
show directions of journey’s
that many can’t read.

The book of a rose
has many lives within it
from winter to spring.

Clouds up above us
that dance with their emotions
might soon dissipate.

A starry picture
found in the sky above us
tells us a story.

Painted in a field
are daisies bright and yellow
giving it contrast.

Early in spring
the dandelions take hold
and become our yard.

June brings us sunshine
and July brings us much rain,
while August awaits.

The wants of many
are often ignored by ones
that have much to give.

Windows illusion
is a place of aloneness
for ones that are blind.

Searching for a heart
finds many looking blindly
only seeing skin.

Heat of the moment
provides chances for seconds
that you might regret.

Last might become first
as the tortoise and the hare
found with much ego.

The winds emotions
come as breezes that will change
to some hurricanes.

Life is a picture
with many different views
and ways which to feel.

Deciphering ones thoughts
might find many wrong answers,
for you are not them.

A weed of hopeful
pretends to be a flower
so not to be mowed.

Change is a viewpoint
that many see as cloudy
while others see clear.

The Artist above
paints the sky with His fingers
and forms a new day.

Lost in the flowers
a butterfly is beauty
that soon finds its way.

The splash of raindrops
falling and making puddles
gives sounds to sleep by.

Cherishing beauty
will help it to continue
so others can see.

A sweet summer’s rain
gives relief to the flowers
and cools down the day.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s a pretty day today.  There’s clouds in the
sky forming artwork for the dreamers.  Yes
July has begun with much beauty for our sky
today.  The temperature isn’t too bad either 🙂
Nope,  it’s a high of 73 F degrees today which
is what it is now at 5 PM.  We’ve gotten a little
rain off and on the passed few days,  but it’s
supposed to be nice tomorrow as well aside
from being a tad warmer with a high of 81 F.
Tuesday’s supposed to be partly cloudy with the
same temp as Monday,  but then after that it’s
supposed to drop back to the mid to lower 70’s
as it shows rain for the rest of the week.  So,
all in all,  July has shown us a smile,  though
I’m exhausted with not being able to sleep due
to aches,  pains and other which there is not
a remedy for,  so I have to deal with it 🙂  I
reckon I’ll be hanging back with the boys
tomorrow to try and get some rest while Judy
goes over to her sister’s house to celebrate
the 4th.  I would go,  but I doubt I would be
very sociable being so exhausted.  Although,
that could change between now and then,
but I’m doubting it.   Judy and I had go to
Walmart a little while ago to pick up a few
things we forgot yesterday and we forgot a
few more things hehehe,  so we will have to
return sometime this week.  Had a list,  but
forgot to put a few things on it LOL.  That’s
life at the Pearce’s Place 🙂  I was trying to
pick up Rocky this morning and he squirmed
a bit and fell and I think he bruised his leg.
He’s been limping a bit,  but he still uses it
and he has strength in it so I don’t think it’s
broken,  but if he doesn’t get better in the
next day,  we’ll take him to the vet.  I think
he just bruised it or pulled a muscle,  being
he didn’t fall that far.  Keep the little guy in
your prayers.  LOL he was able to jump up
on our bed and off again though and that
tells me that it’s just sore.  Anyways,  next
topic.  We’re still making additions to the
lighthouse that Judy and I built.  I was going
to put it outside so the solar light could get
some sunshine and charge the battery,  but
then thought about our boys and how they
tend to think everything is a fire hydrant 🙂
So we bought a large heavy plant holder
that we’ve turned upside down to set the
lighthouse upon.  Now I’ve gotta buy some
long screws to bolt it down.  The screws
were one of the things we forgot to buy 🙂
Judy took some pictures of the lighthouse
sitting on the plant pot and it looks pretty
cool.  Sometime this week we’ll get back to
the store to buy screws hehehe.  Then the
marking and drilling will commence.  We’re
anxious to see it sitting outside and not in
our living room LOL.  I’ll put a picture of
it sitting on top of the plant holder where it
will be bolted on permanently sometime
this week.  There should be enough weight
to prevent it from blowing over too easily 🙂
OK,  next topic.  Hmm,  Oh yea,  Judy and
I took a ride on our bikes in the field the
other day and the boys ran along with us.
I’m going to have to try and tighten down
my handle bars so they don’t move though.
When standing up peddling,  a lot of my
weight is on them and they tended to aim
down on me LOL.  I might though have to
just try to not put my weight on them when
standing up peddling.  We love our bikes,
but it’s going to take a while before we are
able to ride them a mile or so 🙂  In time I’m
sure we’ll be riding them down to Cameron’s
Market and maybe even further.  When we
feel that either of us is able,  we’ll go and
get the doggy trailer out of storage that we
bought to attach to the back of one of the
bikes and bring them along with us.  But
for now,  we’re doing good just toting our
own selves along LOL.  We’ll still take a
few rides in the field where the boys can run
along with us.  Of course we will also take
our walks out in the field time to time as
well with our four legging boys bouncing
around with smiles on their faces.  They do
so love to go out in the field and explore 🙂
but they’re not allowed to go without us.
All in all the Pearce’s Place is still doing
well.  We have our share of pitfalls,  but we
manage to make it through them with help
from God.  Jesus is always with us giving
us the strength to do what we need to do.
There are a lot of things that we wish that
we were able to do,  but at this moment in
time we are unable and may never be able,
but we have what we need.  I pray for those
that are totally in a the realm of misery with
no sign in their sight of it becoming better.
I pray that God reaches down and gives a
needed boost to help them find the things
that they need.  Life can be very stressful
as we do not know the future and right now
might look glum.  Sometimes faith and not
giving up provides the answers,  but maybe
not right away.  I’ve been down those dark
Hell bent roads of life to where I saw nothing
but misery,  but God sent an angel to give
me that needed boost to get me back on my
feet and then he was gone.  I didn’t know his
name.  I just called him friend,  buddy or pal.
God has strange ways of working that are
beyond our comprehension and we might not
even know He is right beside us guiding our
way through others,  but it happens.  Have
peace knowing that hopeless is only a word
that has no power unless you give up and let
Satan win.  Give hopeful a motion in your
life as you continue to strive to do your best
even if troubles come your way.  OK,  now
I believe it’s time for me to be heading back
through all that I’ve written here to see if I
can find a good word or phrase that I can use
for the title for today’s brand new poem.  So,
it’s off I go to that place of my recollection
that I always like to call RECOLLECT
VILLE.  I do though think I found a decent
title on the 2nd line of my rambling hehehe.
Now to see if I can do anything with it LOL.
Here goes nothing hehehe.  Might be true.

Artwork For The Dreamers

Billowing clouds above me now
display a wondrous scene
paintings in the sky of blue
with clouds that intervene.
Artwork for the dreamers
to take to heights so grand
and memorize exquisitely
how each cloud does expand.
Artwork for the dreamers
with paintings that explode
changes in the sky above
with raindrops heavy load.
The stage is set for them to see
the sights from thereunto,
artwork for the dreamers
within the sky of blue.
Dreams of things so very high
that look like oceans steamers
sailing in the sky above,
artwork for the dreamers.

Okie dokie,  there ya go 🙂  I hope you liked the
poem.  I know,  I often let my mind drift away
into a dream land while writing.  I think it does
us all good to dream from time to time.  Even if
your dreams might be a tad silly.  Many of mine
are LOL.  It helps me to write my poetry.  If we
did not have dreams,  then sadness would just
envelop us.  But,  in that same note,  don’t let
the dreams to become all that you do and you
lose track of reality.  That can be painful LOL,
especially if you dream you can fly and then
jump off of the garage and find out that you
cannot fly but only 1 way and that is DOWN.
LOL when I was a little kid I had watched
some parachuters on TV and thought that
my bed sheet would work as a parachute 🙂
I don’t guess I need to tell you how I landed.
Anyways,  I was a little kid maybe 5 or 6
and I climbed the ladder that my dad left
leaning up against the garage and I didn’t
float gracefully down LOL.  That taught me
the true essence of gravity 🙂  I’m sure you
have all done or had thoughts of trying out
something that you thought might work 🙂
That’s how we learn,  the hard way I might
add hehehe.  Well,  last I heard,  my sister
is doing well and still going through all of
the cancer treatments.  Peggy was over
moms house the other day and mom said
she seemed to be handling it well.  So now
I guess it’s time for me to be telling you
what I tell you almost every week and
that is,  I wrote some more poems and
haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more poems with 1
of them this time being a Christmas poem.
I also wrote once again 22 haiku for all
of the haiku lovers out there.  I hope you
can find 1 or 2 of either or both that you
like.  So now I reckon it’s time for me to
begin my search for that not so great at
hiding off switch,  but not before I wish
you a most wonderful weekend or what
that’s left of it and a truly blessings filled
week as well as a HAPPY 4TH of July.
Now to find that ornery off switch that
is utterly horrible at hide and seek LOL.
Hmm,  I think I spy with my 1 good eye
something that looks out of place and
is moving just a bit.  Yep,  I see ya you
silly little thing.  Hiding behind the phone
might of worked well if you had been
behind the actual telephone and not the
answering machine.  The phone is a
bit taller LOL.  You’re getting better 🙂
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S  A link to Judy’s new book as at
the end of the journal along with the
others.  Enjoy 🙂

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Shadows Dreams

Day meets shadows,
night meets dreams
times discovered
rivers,  streams.
Stages set up
showing signs
shadows dreams
their own designs.
Each with windows
showing true
what the shadows
dream to do.
Seasons break through
with their way
moments gathered
to display.
Shadows dreams
find their place
flavored with a
longing face.
Shadows move on
leaving style
for the dreams to
reconcile.
Then as ages
move along
shadows dreams
wll sing their song.

Looks Of Life

Beyond nowadays
life moves on
painting pictures
then and gone.
Minutes added
to the hours
gives the moments
life empowers.
Stormy thinking
brings to view
looks of life
from thereunto.
Lessons learned as
bumpy roads
looks of life
right then explodes.
Ventured feelings
come in frame
looks of life
a moments name.
Then as minutes
gather true
looks of life
are me and you.

That Wondrous Season

With candy cane windows
and sweet sugar smiles
Christmas is found in
so many styles.
That wondrous season
with hearts all aglow
with joyful songs playing
on an old radio.
Snowflakes found falling
as children unite
to build them a snowman
big,  round and white.
That wondrous season
where lights twinkle too,
strings upon houses
of red,  green and blue.
Time becomes echoes
with Jesus as reason
found amidst wintertime
that wondrous season.
Glimpses of hopeful
is found at this time
that wondrous season
of Christmas divine.

The Light Inside

A heart beating
shows its path
sometimes crying
then to laugh.
Through the windows
of our mind
might be doorways
yet to find.
The light inside
might not be bright,
but be with
some hopeful light.
Shining dimly
yet with style,
the light inside
might form a smile.
Then as mirrors
you and I
the light inside
begins to fly.
Forming feathers
like a bird
what your thinking
word for word.
The light inside
becomes a choice
followed by
a moments voice.
So don’t let
yourself to hide,
for time might show
the light inside.

A Summer Mind

The windy days
that come and go
a summer mind
will seek to know.
Swimming waters
surely wet
a summer mind
begins to sweat.
Rain clouds forming
their design
found within
a summer mind.
Then the mornings
bright to see
show the summers
specialty.
Tinted with a
streak of light
a summer mind
is there in sight.
The days move on
to then transcend
a summer mind
with summer wind.
Through the nights
of summertime
life is still
a summer mind.

To Go Beyond Then

A doorway to passion
with love to explode
finds stars displaying
a Heavenly road.
Found with some moonlight
on a rippling pond
seconds meet minutes
that time marches on.
The scenes are decorated
with a magical flare
to go beyond then
in the star glistened air.
Hearts are uniting
as time moves along
displaying chances
from dusk unto dawn.
To go beyond then
displays such a time,
found as a dream world
inside of your mind.
Search for the truthful
that’s better have been
before you attempt to
go beyond then.
The doorway to passion
might need you to wait
and not hurry onwards
to seek for your fate,
for often our hurry
will find troubles roads
as dynamite seeking
what hurry explodes.

Climbing Upwards

Highest mountains
seek our glance,
climbing upwards
chance by chance.
Hopeful patterns
find their phase,
climbing upwards
distant days.
Our momentum
shows the view,
climbing upwards
or too few.
It’s our choices
daily found
that shows how we
get around.
Climbing upwards
good on track
or just using
someone’s back.
Don’t use others
as a tool,
for in the end
you’ll be the fool.
Climbing upwards
needs your own
strength and will
to carry on.
Your own footsteps
daily found
shows your strength
upon the ground.

The Winding Road

My life’s a journey
bumps and holes
found with many
wanted goals.
The winding road
I walked upon
found me often
there and gone.
Lost on side streets
with dead ends
found so lonely
without friends.
Then I found my
footsteps made
on the winding
road I laid.
Journey’s through
the darker side,
the winding road
that I denied.
Until the day
I chose to turn,
the winding road
still left a burn.
Yet then after
I was changed
the winding road
was rearranged.
I found hopeful
from my past,
lessons learned
as shadows cast.
The winding road
gave me a view
life of times
from thereunto.
Now the winding
roads I drive
are with God
to stay alive.
Finding truthful
in my ways
the winding road
is better days.
Not with hopeless,
but with prayer
the winding road
to everywhere.

Nobody’s There

A sound in the dark
as a knock on the door
displays such a thing
I wish to explore.
I open the door up
and look everywhere
and I find that surely
nobody’s there.
The knock’s heard again
as I’m walking away
and I turn once again
while starting to pray.
I open the door up
and again there’s no one.
I look side to side
and think I should run.
But then in a moment
right after my prayer,
I hear no more knocking,
there’s nobody there.

Partly Cloudy

Skies of beauty
blue and white
partly cloudy
is a sight.
Like a window
opened wide
partly cloudy
comes inside.
With its artwork
whites and grays
partly cloudy
paints the days.
Blue skies only
without clouds
seem to me
as empty shrouds.
Without pictures,
without phase,
skies of blue are
lonely days.
Yet the pictures
become seen
partly cloudy
wondrous sheen.
So when mundane
fills your eyes
search for partly
cloudy skies.

Haiku
for July 2,  2016

Now is a moment
that will soon be in our past
as our memories.

Summertime’s lifestyle
changes with each blossom bloomed
while rains come and go.

Seeing life clearly
needs eyes that are not focused
on what they’re wanting.

Beyond a storm cloud
holds the hopes for a rainbow
and life giving rain.

Tomorrows windows
will often only see dreams
and not what that’s there.

A steep mountainside
can be a treacherous place
for a beginner.

Flowing as a stream,
life can have many changes
that lead you astray.

Lost in a turnstile
someone might go in circles
and not the way out.

A greedy person
will lead a wanted lifestyle
that might dig their grave.

Looking passed large trees
a small oak will sit and wait
for its time to shine.

A feather floating
will look as though it’s alive
while seeking the ground.

Time is a moment
that many will overlook
until it’s needed.

Lost in perception
are the scenes many will see
while rubbernecking.

Artwork of the sky
is a painting created
that’s always changing.

Morning’s own shadow
brings forth a wondrous moment
that God’s created.

Sunshine on flowers
gives the essence of beauty
a flair for design.

Having a heartbeat
does not mean you are loving.
It means you’re alive.

Love of the ocean
brings waves into many dreams
as a beach side life.

Change is a motion
that many fail to acknowledge,
until it’s too late.

Knowing who you are
does not display perfection,
but who you are not.

Guiding lights above
that twinkle within the night
are blessings from God.

Across a valley
holds a place of deception
that dreams will provide.
