ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been a bit rainy the last few days,  but
not too cold.  At least not as cold as it could
be at this time of year.  Our landlord has of
yet to finish with our mobile home addition
and that doesn’t surprise me,  but he better
get it done before the snows start heavily
falling,  because we will be unable to get out
of our back door due to snow and ice with no
way to plow back there.  I talked to him the
other day and he promised he would get it
done.  I’m in prayer for that.  Anyways,  on
with the journal.  This passed week Judy
and I have gotten our new book published
and it will be out in stores sometime next
month. It’s titled Pearce’s Poetry Pictures.
We should be getting the proof copy some
time this week.  We are ecstatically waiting
to see it LOL.  It will have over 150 poetry
pictures.  Over a 120 of them will be mine
and the rest will be Judy’s  I hope and pray
that it sells.  It would sure help out with our
budget around here 🙂  Next topic.  Judy’s
been doing more and more painting and she’s
getting better every time.  Yep,  she’s turned
into quite the artist and we have combined
our talents together to make picture poems.
Of course I use a lot of the pictures that we
have taken with our cameras,  but ever so
often I will use one of her paintings or she
will use one to make a picture poem.  Yep,
we do stay busy.  I don’t believe I will put all
of the poems I wrote this week in the journal,
being I wrote 30 poems and 19 of them are
picture poems.  LOL it seems that since I
have begun doing picture poetry,  I have
started writing more hehehe.  OK  so next
topic.  We went to Walmart last week and
as usual I took pictures there and to,  but
with the weather as it has been,  most of
the pictures were blurry due to the lack of
sunlight.  It’s 42 F degrees right now with a
high of 47.  That’s not too awful cold hehehe.
Judy is over at her brother’s house again
today to try and finish up getting it ready for
him to come home from the nursing home.
I worry about him coming home to be by
himself.   I’ve got a feeling he will be calling
us quite a bit wanting help.  The family has
been busy getting the house wheel chair
accessible.  They had to knock out a few
walls and widen doorways throughout the
house.  The house is very small,  so not
many people can help.  LOL obviously a
short person built it being that the ceiling
is just about 6 inches from my head LOL.
Ricky has been calling almost every day
checking on the progress.  He’s coming
home this coming Friday.  Keep him in your
prayers.  His health is very bad.  VERY
BAD.  Life is just a moment that none of
us has a clue to the exact point and time
that we will leave these fleshly bodies to
be joined with our perfect bodies as our
spirit moves on.  Anyways,  next topic 🙂
As I’m fairly sure you may have guessed
that it’s just me and the boys again today.
LOL Benny and Rocky are lying down in
their doggie beds right beside me.  Yep,
they’ve sort of gotten used to it.  Rocky
has latched on to me and he never leaves
my side.  Benny does too,  but not quite
as much.  LOL when we go to bed,  Rocky
will lie down in the floor right beside me
for a bit before heading to the other side
of the bed where both of their doggie beds
are.  I guess it could be due to the fact
I am with them more of the time and I’m
the one that plays with them most.  Judy
plays with them,  but not near as much
as I do.  Both Benny and Rocky love to
lie in my lap.  If I’m holding 1,  the other
is right beside me looking up at me in his
little way of saying my turn.  LOL,  they
are so silly.  They love Judy and spend
a lot of time under her feet as well.  We
love our boys.  I fixed Judy and I some
breakfast before she headed out to her
brothers house.  Some scrambled eggs,
toast and sausage.  I’ve gotta take care
of my honey 🙂  We both gave to boys
a couple of sausage links 🙂  The Pearce’s
Place is still kicking in the wind hehehe.
We still spend a lot of time watching all of
our favorite TV programs together.  It
seems like every time we get interested
in a program,  they have a season finale.
LOL go figure.  No matter,  we seem to
always find another program that we like
that fills the spot for a brief.  LOL don’t
we live exciting lives!  OH well,  we get
by.  It’s great that neither of us comes
from a money hungry family and we’re
used to living on very little.  Of course
I’m sure that we have more than many,
as there is always someone that is in
worse shape than you.  You might not
know of them,  but trust me,  they are
there.  Be thankful for what you have,
because there are others out there that
would call you rich.  You might not have
millions,  but what you have might be more
than another has ever fathomed.  Thank
God for the things that you have and all
that you are able to do.  Life is shorter
than you may think.  You could be the
picture of health one day and then out
of the blue,  have an accident and your
health or life is taken away.  Be grateful
for the struggles that you endured,  for
they were tools to make you stronger.
Now,  I believe it’s time for me to be
taking my little journey back through
all that I’ve written here to see if I can
find a good word or phrase that I use for
the title for today’s brand new poem 🙂
So,  it’s away I go to that lil place of my
recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I found
a decent title about a third of the way
back in my rambling LOL.  Now let’s
see what if anything at all I can do with
it.  Here goes 🙂

Kicking In The Wind

Storms come a brewing
many times and agin
and often it’s just like
kicking in the wind.
We fight to keep ahead
as storms come rushing through
kicking in the wind
with a breath turned to blue.
Blessings of a moment
might be all that you need
to help you in a turnstile
to plant a healthy seed.
Kicking in the wind
is a pattern many find
when lessons come as turmoil
weighing heavy on their mind.
Some scenes discovered
might have a better end
that now is just a problem,
kicking in the wind.

There ya go!  LOL I hope you enjoyed the
poem and understood it.  Also I hope that I
didn’t bore you too much with my rambling.
Judy should be home soon.  I know the boys
are anxious for her to come home.  Both of
them are lying on the end of our bed facing
the door waiting for her.  Hehehe,  they are
adorable.  They’ll go ballistic when she gets
home LOL.  Rocky starts spinning in circles
when he gets excited.  I swear sometime he’s
going to make himself sick doing that LOL.
Judy just walked in and as I predicted,  the
boys went ballistic hehehe.  So,  it looks like
it’s time for me to be telling you what I tell
you almost every week and that is,  I wrote
some more poems and haiku.  I guess you
already know that I wrote a ton of poetry
pictures LOL,  although I think I will only
post the 10 none picture poems.  I think
30 poems is a bit much to be posting in my
journal,  hehehe don’t you think.  Anyways
I also wrote 22 more haiku for all of the
haiku lovers out there.  I hope you can
find 1 or 2 of either or both that you like.
Once again,  our Pearce’s Poetry Pictures
will be for sell next month and I will put
a link to the website where you can buy
it then.  So now I believe it’s time for me
to begin my search for that confounded
off switch that is so great at hiding LOL,
NOT,  but before I do that I must wish
you a most wonderful weekend or what
that is left of it and a truly blessings filled
week.  Remember,  Jesus loves you and
we do too.  Ok,  so where are ya hiding
or more to the point,  trying to hide you
little whippersnapper.  Where can that
off switch possibly be hiding.  Hmm that
would happen to be it that I see behind
my Mountain Dew can,  now could it be?
LOL,  For crying out loud,  you’ve had
all week long to look for a hiding spot
and you hide behind the 1 thing that I am
drinking out of.  Try harder next week.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S  A link to Judy’s new book as at
the end of the journal along with the
others.  Enjoy 🙂

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

The Dancer

She moved like liquid water
as she flowed across the stage.
Her steps were not so youthful,
but she shown the greatest age.
She wore a dress of white
as she danced into my heart.
I saw her in this magical time
a wonderful work of art.
Her daughter was getting married
on this wonderful day and time
while the moment was well written
as a fabulous design
and then after the wedding
we danced with joyful glee
as we held each other tightly
and danced in one agree.
The times were found as magic
as the dancer held me tight
and we danced acoss the stage
as true love was in sight.
Her daughter was also dancing
with her wonderful married man
while the dancer held me closely
as we danced then hand to hand.

A Stormy Life

A day with rain
and clouds of gray,
a stormy life
will seem dismay.
Yet the rains
that pour on down
might have hope
that can be found.
A stormy life
of times regards
might just be
a deck of cards.
The dealer being
a day with strife
a stormy day,
a stormy life.
The episodes
of each we see
might be lessons
for you and me.
All those moments
times details,
a stormy life
might fill its sails.
Then the ship
of thereunto
might display
a better view.
A stormy life
will surely show
a time with peace
and a big rainbow.

A Little Faith

The smallest seed
of faith and time
can become
the best design.
For with Jesus
and His ways
there will be
some better days.
A little faith
throughout your life
can become
much less of strife.
A scene exposed
you did not like
can become
a healthy hike.
A mountain stream
of love and care,
a little faith
can fill a prayer.

The Christmas Star

That special scene
that many see
up on top
of the Christmas tree.
The Christmas star
is such a sight
as it glistens
day and night.
With the lights
red,  green and blue
the Christmas star
displays its hue.
Often shining
brightly so
maybe with some
store bought snow.
The Christmas star
brings into light
The Saviors birth
that wondrous sight.
The seasons glory
wondrous view
of Jesus Christ
for me and you.

Giving Thanks

Troubles will often
become plain to see,
but God can do wonders
with you and with me.
Each trial we encounter
is a tool to be seen
as we walk through the ages
to find what they mean.
Thankful is a moment
that we find in our heart
the end of our troubles
and goodness to start.
No matter the pathways,
no matter the miles,
I’m thankful for seconds
that turn into smiles.
Even though sadness
is often the view,
I’m giving thanks now
for what God will do.
For God is my rock
and my firm solid ground
that gives to me great strength
when trouble comes around.
Yes I’m giving thanks
for His unending ways
that helps me through sadness
to find better days.

Pastimes Of Peace

Now is a second
a minute is gained.
then hours gather
for more time attained.
The pastimes of peace
of a moments desire
can be a thing
or a place you acquire.
Peace is a blessing
that many let go
and find only anger
to daily bestow.
The seasons of life
in a whirlwind of days
might become trouble
of a daily amaze.
Yet within Jesus
your anger can cease
with moments of prayerful
pastimes of peace.

Chance

Shadows essence
day and night
shows the chances
wrong and right.
Seeming rightful
might not be
a given chance
for you or me.
Often doorways
open wide
just to tempt
your life inside.
Yet some doorways
hold the path
away from now
your aftermath.
Life is questions,
answers too
that by chance
what’s right to do.
Don’t let liars
to romance
and fill you with
an empty chance.
Look beyond then
see what’s right
found inside
God’s Holy Light.

That Faithful Night

A snowy night
with Christmas dreams,
sugar plum fairies
and wondrous scenes
is such a time
that kids remember
Christmastime
amidst December.
That faithful night
on Christmas Eve
a child will seek
to just believe.
The sight of Santa’s
suit of red,
they dream of him
at night in bed.
That faithful night
that comes to be,
a child might try
to look and see.
Yet old Santa
will come and go
that faithful night
through winters snow.
With Rudolf’s nose
that shines real bright,
he guides old Santa
that faithful night.

The Light Of God

As each day passes
our lives are counted
minutes that prospered,
moments surmounted.
The light of God
is a guide through life
to help us each one
find a way from strife.
The past is remembered,
but not held to be
the way that we are
and the way that we see.
The light of God
is a doorway through time
that glistens His beauty
so wondrous Divine.
Our blessings uncountable
are pages to turn
as the light of God
shows what to discern.

Beginnings End

Without beginnings
there is no end
for things must start
to then transcend.
The things we think
and things we do
beginnings end
is thereunto.
Within our sight
we might not see
beginnings end
of history,
but as time goes
it shows so true
beginnings end
within our view.
So then as time
is found in sync
beginnings end
has common link.
Found as moments
around the bend
lessons gather
beginnings end.

Haiku
for Oct 29,  2016

Tomorrow’s a day
that will soon become our past
as life passes by.

Judging by color
or ethnic of another
can lose some good friends.

Challenges on life
come with surprises of time
that we might not see.

Life is emotions
found within our minds journeys
as mountains and hills.

Reality comes
as the patterns we have tried
turn out good or bad.

Life within a breath
is breathed in with emotion
that many can’t see.

A fast boat through life
might sink in the deepest part
due to a rogue wave.

Now is a moment
that ones will worry about
no matter how small.

A life’s destruction
might be a mere mystery
to those that are blind.

A turbines story
becomes a life of desire
that’s spinning around.

A persons money
often becomes who they are
and it’s often false.

Digging a deep hole
for the burial of lies
might come up real short.

Disdained decisions
can become nightmares to see
as your choice was wrong.

Falling from the sky,
a raindrop has not a choice
of where it will land.

Forces of nature
can become our choice makers
of where we’re to live.

The present time seen
might not show all that there is
and flourish regret.

Various changes
leave various emotions
of how we react.

The hands of a clock
display many seconds found
of which we worry.

The vitals of truth
needs the emotional heartbeat
of conscience and love.

Our troublesome days
are often not the worst days,
but the most noticed.

A thriving liar
will continue down that path
even when they’re caught.

The trees standing tall
can sometimes smother the young
preventing their growth.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

Well,  this is my second attempt to write my
journal.  The darned electricity got knocked
out just long enough to make my PC crash,
which made me have to start again and I was
down to the part of beginning to look for a
title for the new poem.  It’s taken me a bit to
calm down to be able to give it another try,
so here goes.  I’m kind of blank though as it
seems with the power outage it also took my
thoughts.  I guess I should of been saving
the journal as I wrote knowing that we had
already had one power outage real early this
morning.  I guess I didn’t think there would
be such a quick repeat performance.  So,
OK where should I begin?  Well I guess I
will begin at the beginning LOL.  This passed
week has been not too awful bad.  Weather
wise,  it has been pretty fair.  Our landlord
though is making our lives a bit rougher as
he has still of yet to of finished the add on
to the front of our mobile home and we are
having to use the back door which is located
in our bedroom.  The steps back there are
in worse shape than the ones in the front
were and plus,  there is no porch light and
no way to drive back there because we can’t
drive over the sewer lines.  So we’ve gotta
park in front on the other side of the sewer
lines and walk to the back/bedroom door.
It’s really getting old and the fact that the
snowy season is not far from beginning its
onslaught and there is no way we will be
able to get out of our back door  because
they cannot plow back there.  I’ve got a
small snow blower,  but there is no way
I will be able to do that back there.  The
snow blower is more for concrete drives.
The first time it hits a rock or something,
it’s done for.  And it only does 12 inches
wide and no more than 6 inches deep,  so
you see why I’m worried.  I talked to him
the other day and he said he would get it
all fixed as soon as he can,  so we shall see.
LOL enough with my bickering.  Next topic.
Judy’s been doing a megaton of painting.
OK,  maybe not a megaton,  but she has
done a whole bunch.  She’s getting better
with every stroke of the paintbrush.  She
has even begun doing picture poetry like
me.  Though most of hers is done using
her paintings.  She has done a few using
pictures we’ve taken though.  When she
becomes a famous artist,  I reckon she’ll
divorce me and find her a better man 🙂
Nah,  she might hang onto me because
she’s gotten used to me hehehe.  We are
still planning on doing a book of picture
poems combined with both of our work.
Hopefully we will have it done by next
month and ready for Christmas.  We’re
gonna try.  Anyways,  next topic.  I took
the boys out for a field trip Thursday
while Judy took a nap.  As normal they
had a blast.  My feet and legs though,
did not LOL.  I brought my camera as
always and took a few pictures of them
while they ran hither and thither hehehe.
There were still a few fall colored leaves
on the trees  but I am guessing that now
after all of these winds rushing through,
the leaves are in the next county hehehe.
This time,  I am saving after every other
line so if the electricity does get bumped,
I won’t lose what all I’ve written,  because
I don’t believe I have it in me to start from
scratch again LOL.  The winds have been
blowing 25 to 35 MPH with 40 to 45 MPH
gust and it’s supposed to continue into the
night.  I’m sure the reason for the power
outages is because tree limbs somewhere
keep hitting the power lines.  You would
think that the city would send a crew to
look for such tree limbs and trim them away
from the power lines  but NO.  They only
send a crew when there is a power outage.
There are crews that businesses hire that
go around trimming the limbs away from
power lines,  but not the city,  or at least
it doesn’t look like it LOL.  Oh well,  it’s
nothing I have control over.  I took a trip
outside with my camera a little while ago
to see if our lighthouse was still out there
or if it had blown off into the next county.
Surprise,  that little homemade lighthouse
is exactly where we put it and it’s light is
still shining bright.  I figured if anything
would of blown it away it would of been
the winds from early this morning LOL.
So I guess I did a pretty good job in its
construction 🙂  Judy put the pumpkin that
she did last Saturday Oct 15 out there
near the lighthouse and a lot of the paint
has washed and blown off  but otherwise
it still looks pretty good.  I am so amazed
at her creativity.  I wish I was half that
creative.  All I’m able to do is put a few
words together and construct a sentence
or two.  LOL most times the sentences
make no sense.  Hehehe oh well,  it is
what it is.  If we all had the very same
gifts,  then it would all become senseless.
We each have our special gifts,  large
and small,  but each gift with it’s own
importance which large or small do not
pertain.  LOL time for a weather report.
It’s 38 F degrees and cloudy as the wind
just keeps on blowing.  Back to you Bill.
Hehehe a bit a silliness snuck in.  I think
we all need some silliness in our lives to
keep from becoming stones of sadness
as bitterness rushes over our lives.  So
be silly from time to time,  but don’t let
it become overdone.  Just use silliness
to lighten up a darkened moment that
you are filled with bereavement.  Life
is a time frame that moves from flesh
to spirit,  yet still exist in one.  Look
for the joy that you had in a loved ones
and even remember the silly times for
they’ll help you to find joy.  Remember
it’s not over when the body dies.  It is
just the beginning.  OK so I reckon it’s
time for me once again LOL and I say
once again with earnest because this
is the point that the electricity went out
before.  So save it I have been doing
this time 🙂  Anyways,  it’s time for me
to be taking my little journey back
through all that I’ve written here to see
if I can find a good word or phrase that
I can use for the title of today’s brand
new poem.  So,  it’s away I go to that
place of my recollection that I always
like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.  I
believe I found a decent title near the
halfway mark of my rambling.  Now to
see if I can do anything with it hehehe.
Here goes…..

Hither and Thither

Time is a painting
scenery found
hither and thither
all there around.
Now marks the moments
a secondhand past
as but a memory
going too fast.
Hither and thither
is now and agin
time frames enacted
where we have been.
A rose petal romance
is found in a place
hither and thither
filled with God’s grace.
Just but a minute
can become such a time
hither and thither
found on the mind.
Heartfelt emotions
equip ones with love
hither and thither
from God above.
A sequence of scenes
of our yesteryear
hither and thither
might not be so clear.
Yet but a moment
hither and thither
can become blessings
never to wither.
Flesh becomes spirit
as time goes its way
hither and thither
day after day
For with ones praying
dusk unto dawn
hither and thither
is life never gone.

Oct 23,  2016

OK  there ya go.  I finally managed to get
this written.  LOL I have been saving every
other line,  just in case the dear power goes
out again.  I hope you enjoyed my rambling
and maybe even the poem.  I wasn’t sure I
was going to be able to start over and do it
again from scratch  but I did it 🙂  Hmm so
I wonder,  is there anything else to tell you?
Oh yea our grandson Christian came Friday
and spent the night and Saturday with us 🙂
We always enjoy having him visit with us.
We’d love it if the other grand kids could
come,  but that’s life.  They are either busy
or live too far away.  In any case,  we are
thrilled that Christian still wants to spend
some time with Grandma and Grandpa 🙂
Kids grow up so quickly and their priorities
change.  I know mine did and I wish often
that they had not,  because I lost so much
from that connection.  Do your best to not
lose that connection with your family.  It
is one that is not just of blood  but of ones
considered family.  So now I believe it’s
time for me to be telling you what I tell
you almost every week and that is I wrote
some more poems and haiku.  Yeppers 10
more poems with an extra 3 and 1 shorty.
One of the poems is a Christmas poem.
So that ups the count to 13 and a half 🙂
I also wrote 22 more haiku for all of the
haiku lovers out there.  I hope you can
find 1 or 2 of either or both that you like.
So now I guess it’s time for me to begin
my search for that terrible at hiding off
switch,  but not before I wish you all
a most wonderful week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too. Alrighty
then,  so where is that off switch trying
to hide this week?  LOL ya thought you
wouldn’t have to try to hide this time
due to the power outtages didn’t ya LOL.
I guess hiding behind my nose spray
was the quickest place you had to run
when you figured out that I was going
to get this thing done huh LOL.  Well,
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S  A link to Judy’s new book as at
the end of the journal along with the
others.  Enjoy 🙂

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10+4 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

A Winter Dream

Times of slumber
find that place
a winter dream
that you can taste.
A simple time
that brings you peace
a winter dream
with sweet release.
Christmas scenes
with lights so bright
that they shine
a peaceful night.
A winter dream
of long ago
building snowmen
in the snow.
A gentle thought
that comes alive
a winter dream
we recognize.
The love and joy
finds ways to be
a winter dream
I wish to see.

Falling Stars

Nighttime finds scenery
Venus and Mars
with twinkling essence
and a few falling stars.
On through the night sky
the scenes all behold
times filled with beauty
that surely unfold.
Falling stars majesty
streaks through the night
painting a picture
of a bright shining light.
A page of a book
with a wonderful view,
a nights falling stars
are thoughts to construe.
Thinking of the places
a falling star’s been
and wondering whether
it’s caught in the wind.
Nighttime relinquishes

Neither Either

Now but only,
then but why
neither either
seems to fly
What’s remembered
might not be
neither either
you or me.
Sometimes past
and present times
is but only
rhythms rhymes.
Neither either
finds a way
that is best
to be today.
Lose the factoid
now perceives
it might be
just falling leaves.
Neither either
now and then
is rock written
out and in.
For the moments
that prevail
might be lessons
in detail.
Neither either
might be there,
but a speed bump
with a prayer.

An Autumn Road

An autumn drive
through scenery
becomes a stage
through history.
An autumn road
with colored leaves
seems as dreams
within the trees.
Each minute found
as time goes by
an autumn road
has leaves that fly.
Some as yellow,
orange and brown
find their place
upon the ground.
Yet the pathway
time’s bestowed
still shows beauty
an autumn road.

An Autumn Sky

Leaves with colors,
birds that fly
make the stage
an autumn sky.
Time with minutes
scenery
finds a place
for eyes to see.
An autumn sky
with winds that blow
comes before
the winters snow.
Relinquished leaves
are soon to fall
from the trees
so short and tall.
An autumn sky
becomes a view
found within
a dream come true.

Falls Reflections

The waters shimmer,
the waters shine
falls reflections
that I find.
Seasons moments
come in view
on the waters
oh so blue.
Falls reflections
find a way
to become
the best display.
The waters glimmer
orange and red
with some yellow
leaves have shed.
In the moment
time stands still
falls reflections
shines with zeal.
Teams of colors
come in sight
falls reflections
oh so bright.

The Tides Will Turn

A beaches scorn
of many souls
will find the times
for future goals.
The tides will turn
with changing phase
unto the night
and dawning days.
With every step
a person makes
upon a beach
their life partakes.
Soon is found
a moments past,
the tides will turn
with shadows cast.
Then recordings
of each path
will become
a moments past.
Many footprints
times discern
are washed away
the tides will turn.

A Distant Time

A season remembered,
a sight you did see
becomes such a blessing
in your history.
A distant time painted
with thoughts full of ink
becomes as a mirror
of how that you think.
A shore upon a beach
with moments of old
becomes a distant time
with sights to behold.
Those distant memories
that just passed you by
will one day awaken
as heartbeats apply.
A distant time photograph
comes into view
becoming as memoirs
an ocean of blue.
A walk on the beach
of a moment so mild
becomes a distant time
with you and your child.
Maybe just a moment
and maybe not a beach,
but a moment remembered
will come into reach.
Through a mere photograph
a time will rewind
to that of an echo
of a so distant time.

A Summer’s Day

Tracking back
through mind and more
I find the times
that I adore.
A summer’s day
with beach side view
I watched the days
of time come true.
A summer’s day
with sweet release
is found beside
the summer’s seas.
Ones found fishing
seeking their goal
while they’re dreaming
of life to unfold.
The stage is set
in a magical way
what I remember
of a summer’s day.

Another Storm

Turmoil’s beginnings
are often a key,
another storm
to help us see.
A storm of sadness
might involve
futures blessings
to resolve.
Another storm
within design
might have pages
you’re to sign.
God gives angels
places found
to be strength
when you fall down.
Don’t let sadness
always form,
for some answers
will be born.
Another storm
of timeless view
might just be
the best for you.

Echoes Of Life

The wings of the living
spread widely to fly
as that of an eagle
while the minutes fly by.
Then as a memoir
our time might repeat
a moment remembered
we did not defeat.
Our echoes of life
are like a photograph,
moments remembered,
events from our past.
Scenes thought forgotten
of bridges we burned,
the echoes show minutes
we thought we had learned.
The echoes of life
become teachers of time,
often to enlighten
our dim-witted mind.

Through The Trees

A simple scene
of thereunto
can become
a wondrous view.
A wooded path,
a timeless door,
through the trees
ones can explore.
Minutes prosper
that of ages
through the trees
a book of pages.
A turning point
of slight degrees
might show well
through the trees.
Life’s mysterious
as time’s done
finding future
yet begun.
Through the trees
we might get lost
with our footsteps
such a cost.
So as pathways
through the trees
show their moments
as the seas,
look for truthful
ways to turn
that have right ways
to discern.

A House So Old

Years leave the threshold
of a house so old
dank with the essence of
feeling so cold.
A home without a owner
is just but a house
filled with only fractions,
a home for a mouse.
Time becomes its enemy
as walls come crashing in
while a house so old
seeks for life to begin agin.
Its structure is a living thing
like a human entity
as it stands watching time
just like you and like me.
We’re all a house at heart
with a lifetime to unfold
that need Lord God above
to entwine our house of old.
Yet if we let our lives
to be found without His key,
we’ll become a house so old
that our reflections only see.

Haiku

for Oct 20,  2016

Now is a moment
that will soon become our past
so take care of now.

Mornings bring blessings
as chances of which they give
from God’s own design.

Crashing through doorways
and not looking in before,
could end in trouble.

Lost in translation,
many focus on their own thoughts
and don’t understand.

Twisted bits of time
find their ways into a dream
becoming nightmares.

Without first thinking
an action can become death
as life seeks recourse.

Preparing for morning
needs yesterday put aside
to move forward.

The shout of winter
is a voice in a snowstorm
and cold winds that blow.

The pages of a book
only put forth their journey
when they become read.

As a morning mist
the life of the day begins
to soon become clear.

A map of today
becomes many lines to see
as it is written.

Knowing the answers
does not mean that they are all,
for there might be more.

Inside a moment
some blades of grass come alive
to help cover time.

Painted memories
can become more than they were
filled full of colors.

A challenge is good
only when it’s not stupid,
for then it’s childish.

Minds found connected
might think the very same thoughts,
but different ways.

Mindless arguing
leaves doors opened for despair
that might end alone.

Many corridors
bring forth troublesome values
for empty people.

Autumn leaves falling
are a grounds keepers nightmare
that only he knows.

Losing a battle
does not mean that you are weak,
if you gave your all.

A hillside of snow
is a painting made by God
but many don’t see.

The things that you’ve done
are never hidden from God,
for His Son sees all.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

Well we’ve survived yet another week.  Our add on
partition is still needing much work.  Our landlord’s
got it moved to the house and blocked up and all, but
he has yet to of sealed it or built or brought us some
steps so that we can get in and out of it.  All I can say
is he better get on the ball,  because the usage of
our back steps is limited and when winter gets here
we can no longer use them due to snow.  He cannot
plow back there because of the sewer lines.  Anyway,
we’re going to stay on him to get it finished.  He’s
got a leak in the ceiling of it that also needs to be
repaired also and then the wiring of the lights and
all.  So I ask you most earnestly,  please pray for
these matters to get taken care of correctly and
quickly.  OK,  so enough of my bickers hehehe 🙂
Onto another topic.  The weather is getting a bit
more wintery as each day passes.  Tuesday Judy
and I went to Walmart and I took a few more fall
pictures there and to LOL.  The leaves have begun
falling from the trees leaving many empty branches.
Right now it’s 54 F degrees and raining.  Judy and
I just got back from her daughters house a little
while ago.  They had a Halloween chilly cook off 🙂
I cannot eat chilly due to health issues so I made
up a big batch of my non spicy goulash.  Without
a colon and colostomy bag I can’t handle hot foods.
What goes in hot,  comes out hot LOL.  So,  the
evening went well.  Judy and I took a lot of pictures
of everybody there.  It was all indoors due to the
fact of the rain.  We had to leave the boys at home.
They were OK.  We put them in their crates which
they both tend to spend a lot of time in on their
own LOL.  They treat them like doghouses LOL,
so a couple of hours was no bother.  When we have
to leave them at home,  all we do is say sorry
you can’t go,   get in your crate and they both go
and get in their individual crate and sit down 🙂
We love our boys,  but there are days that we
must leave them home for their own safety.  That’s
life!  Well,  what else has gone on around the
Pearce’s Place?  Hmm,  well Judy is still doing
paintings and I FINALLY finished mine.  It’s
titled the Dog Star which by another name is
Sirius which is at the heel of the Hunter if you
know anything about astrology LOL.  Sirius is
supposed to be the brightest star in the Earth’s
night sky.  I don’t know how true that is being
viewed from different locations though.  So,
you’ve had a little astrology lesson now LOL.
Not that it will do you any good hehehe.  So,
what else is going on around this place?  Well,
as I said Judy is painting,  but it seems that
we have become a sort of team as she paints
pictures and I write poems to go with them.
Not all of them mind you,  being I do have my
limits ya know hehehe.  Although since I’ve
begun doing more and more picture poems,
it seems I have been writing more and more
poems each week 🙂  We are enjoying doing
this together.  In time we’re going to make a
book of the picture poems and hopefully sell
a few copies.  That would be nice if that dream
would come true.  That’s our plans for next
month.  So,  OK next topic.  The boys are
now lying in the floor between Judy and me
in their doggy beds.  Rocky is snoring and
he sounds almost identical to how Milo used
to snore 🙂  If I didn’t know better,  which I
don’t 🙂  I’d think the spirit Milo is in Rocky.
I doesn’t matter,  they are now and they’ll
always be our boys.  Their spirits are always
welcomed in our home.  It seems that the
rain has ceased or at least for the moment 🙂
Yes,  it looks like God is still watching over
us as we face our daily struggles.  We’ve
often got problems that at the moment seem
the greatest we have ever had,  but then on
a bit a reminiscing remember a time and
place that we had it much worse and God
pulled us through.  For even the worst of
times are tools to help our tomorrows.  So,
it seems that I have come to that point in
my rambling that I need to cease and take
a little trip back through all that I have
written to see if I can find a good word or
phrase that I can use for the title of today’s
brand new poem.  So,  it’s away I go to that
place of my recollection that I always like
to call RECOLLECT VILLE.  I believe I
may of found a decent title near the center
of my rambling hehehe.  Now to see if I can
do anything with it.  Here goes.

The Brightest Star

The ones we see
in daily view
might not display
what’s really true.
The brightest star
might be so dim
as you focus
not on them.
Yet a moment
might be seen
what was dim
might now agleam.
The brightest star
and real true friend
will be there
till the very end.
For the others
you thought true
might become as
hard to view.

There ya go.  I hope you enjoyed my rambling
and also poem.  Hopefully you understood and
enjoyed the poem as well LOL.  Benny just got
up and strolled out of here and I’m guessing is
now lying on his favorite recliner in the living
room.  I got a late start on my writing due to the
Halloween chilly cook off LOL.  There wasn’t
anybody dressed in Halloween attire,  so I’m
glad I didn’t wear my Halloween mask LOL 🙂
So,  that’s about all I’ve got.  I guess it’s now
time for me to be telling you what I tell you
almost every week and that is,  I wrote some
more poems and haiku.  Yep,  10 more poems
with an added 7 which ups the total to 17 and
once again I wrote 22 haiku for all of the haiku
lovers out there.  I hope you can find 1 or 2 of
either or both that you like.  Now,  I believe
it’s time for me to begin my search for that
off switch that’s terrible at hide and seek LOL,
but not before I wish you a most wonderful
and blessed week.  Remember,  Jesus loves
you and we do too.  Now where can that silly
off switch be hiding or at least not standing
right in front of me?  Well,  I’ll be a monkeys
uncle,  He found a decent hiding spot for
once,  but the pitfall in the choosing of this
spot is the fact that I need to change out the
batteries in my camera and he’s hiding right
behind them LOL.  Better luck next week 🙂
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S  A link to Judy’s new book as at
the end of the journal along with the
others.  Enjoy 🙂

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10+7 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Home

This place of perception,
this place that I live
is just but a moment
that minutes will give.
Home is a blessing,
home is a place
found within sections
of God’s Holy Grace.
Time’s a benefactor
presenting a chance
found within moments
of life’s song and dance.
Home can be a time
with your hat on the wall
hung but just a moment
that you might recall.
Scenes within ages
might find you all alone,
but it might be needed
for then as your home.

Paved With Memories

A horse and buggy
finds place in time
paved with memories
a scenic design.
Life moves forward
with clicking of hooves
paved with memories
leaves some grooves.
Cars might be rolling
quickly on by

Paved with memories
might then be beheld
as a moments expression
that minutes are meld.
Scenes come alive then
timeless to see
a horse in buggy
from our history.

of history.
Winters windows
displayed true
a road to town

With the patterns
time’s displayed
a road to town

As our wheels roll
down the road
a winter scene
is then bestowed.

colors of fall
and wonderful views.
Blended as paint

is found within

Some birds in flight
in mist of haze
fly beyond

Colors shimmer
within the sight

Birds in the mist

As they flutter

within the scene
birds in the mist.

Without Right Now

The times that pass
that we regret
might be the times
with best asset.
Without right now
we might not see
what tomorrow’s
might just be.
Beyond our thoughts
of then and there
without right now
cannot compare.
The many times
that now was framed

The tomorrows

Belittled Minds

Some found so different
might not see as you
with ways that they’re going
and things that they do.
Life is a stew pot
filled with our thoughts
often so different
that many get lost.
Some will belittle
the difference they see
of minds of another
that’s not you or me.
Yet on the backside
of our mental phase
belittled minds thought of
might know better ways.
Then as a turning point
life finds designs
true lessons to learn from
those belittled minds.

The Ghost Of Halloween

This ghost named Boo
that tries to scare
only does it
because of a dare.
He watches the moon
come out at night
and with a pumpkin
seeks to fright.
The ghost of Halloween

and all through town.
Boo tries to scare
everyone he’s seen,
because he is the ghost
of Halloween.

A Simple Change

Points in time
to things we’ve done
a simple change
can be begun.
Maybe a thought
or action made
can become changed
a moment prayed.
A simple change
in where you go
and things you do
will help you grow.
Yet the changes
need to be
what’s within,
not just to see.
Seek for better
styles of ways
and let Jesus
guide your days.
The past is gone
so rearrange
your lifetime with
a simple change.

Breath Of The Wind

The beginning of day
might display some wind
that of a smile
from a real good friend.
A scenic perception,
a windy type smile
can change what’s long
into just a while.
The breath of the wind
on a worrisome day
makes dancing leaves
blow troubles away.
Each scenes in rhythm
the way that it breathes
as the wind blows
those autumn day leaves.
Each minute projected
becomes such a flair
displayed with beauty
with sights everywhere.
A colorful essence
that blessings transcend
comes from the moments
breath of the wind.

A rusty bridge
that waits a train
stands through time
with wind and rain.
An old train trestle
stands so true

Painted moments
come alive

do survive.
That train trestle
stands through time
waiting for a

A Christmas bridge

the snowy trees.
With Christmastime

Sailing At Sunset

Within a painting
a ship’s out at sea
sailing at sunset
with birds flying free.
Seagulls of white
will flutter and fly,
meanwhile the captain
tells seashore goodbye.
Seeking deep waters
to sail on with time,
sailing at sunset
with seashore behind.
Onto a journey
a mysterious event,
as the sails gasp
for a sailing intent.
Soon the sun’s gone
as it fades out of sight,
sailing at sunset
and into the night.

Mysterious minds
seek advice from ignorance
and only find quotes.

The minutes we count
might not be that important
as doorways are closed.

The shadow of life
is a story of a time
that lives in our mind.

Behind everyone
is a person that is good
to motivate you.

Flavors of a dream
can be candy coated life
tasted with your thoughts.

Life behind a door
might hold but only your fears
awaiting your view.

Looking for a path
could make you miss your journey,
for the path was there.

Looking for a storm
often brings one much stronger
than you had planned on.

A glimmer of hope
can be a rainbow of life
inside of a cloud.

Lost in a nightmare
you might forget there is peace
found within a prayer.

Melodies that play
bring back distant memories
maybe good or bad.

Various changes
become differences in time
that could be struggles.

Bewildered people
often seek common answers
to things not common.

As autumn leaves fall
the winter winds come knocking
at the doors of time.

Beyond what we see
are things that are well hidden
that we know not of.

A shower of rain
can be a welcomed moment
or someone’s nightmare.

Now is a time frame
that often gets overlooked,
due to yesterday.

Having and holding
does not mean that you own things,
that might not be yours.

Double exposure
is the insight of pictures
and also people.

Always turning right
will lead you in a circle
if you do not change.

A budding flower
displays its journey through time
to become beauty.

Anger is a path
that can become unstable
and hurt ones you love.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been a great week for fall colors.
Judy and I took a drive back down to
Baxter State Park Tuesday and got a
ton of great fall colors.  We then went
down south once again Friday to the
Million Dollar View and then took a
drive down the back roads and found
a lot more fall colors to take pictures
of.  We’ve got many hundreds of great
pictures of fall in its glory.  LOL we
went down a few roads that were in
question of being roads at all hehehe.
We found some old train tracks with
an awesome bridge that I took a little
stroll on and took a ton of pictures of.
Judy took a bunch of pictures of me
on my little train track stroll hehehe.
I even wrote a poem of my stroll and
put it into a picture poem.  Anyways
to make a long story a little longer 🙂
we took a ton of fall pictures.  Over
500 pictures. So going through them
picking out the best ones and deleting
the repeats and blurry ones has been
quite a chore.  It’ll be hard to pick
out a few for my stationary,  but I’ll
git-r-done.  I brought my tripod on
both of our fall drives and got a few
photos of Judy and I together and
on our second drive got a nice photo
of us and the boys.  Yep,  it’s been a
nice passed week.  Our landlord came
Saturday and moved the extra room
addition to our house,  but it needs
a lot of work before it will be done.
He still has to raise it up to match
our house so we can get out of the
front door and then get it sealed up
and the electric wired to it.  Then
he’s gotta get the steps set up so we
can get out.  Yep,  a lot of work and
he’s doing it by himself which means,
it will take longer than it would if
he had hired someone to help him out
being that I can only help to a small
degree.  I’m not helpless  but I’m very
limited on what I am able to do.  So,
I pray that he can get it all done soon,
because our boys are really confused
having to use the back door,  plus the
fact that Benny is scared of the dark
and we have not got a porch light
on the back door.  It be pitch black
at night when it’s cloudy or pitch dark
as many will say not knowing what it
means LOL.  The weather’s becoming
more like winter as each day passes.
Anyways,  we do hope that the front
porch is fixed before soon.  Hopefully
this week.  He said it would only take
him a day, but that has been proven to
be false LOL.  So,  what else is going
on around The Pearce’s Place?  Hmm,
well,  Judy has painted a bunch more
paintings.  She’s getting better with
every stroke of the brush.  I’ve used
a lot of her artwork for picture poems.
She’s begun doing more freehand and
a lot less tracing.  I still have a lot to
do on my first painting LOL.  It’s a
freehand,  but not coming out quite
as well as Judy’s LOL.  In time I’ll
finish it.  I guess I just don’t have the
skills to be a painter/artist.  Unless
you call poetry artwork hehehe.  Of
course I do use many of my poems
for picture poetry LOL.  Benny is
in the other room now barking at
our landlord.  He’s back to work on
the porch addition.  He brought his
granddaughter,  again.  She spent a
lot of time hanging with me and Judy
yesterday.  We became baby sitters 🙂
Judy gave her some paper and let her
use her paints.  Before that I spent
a lot of time outside with her and
her little computer games and we
took a little stroll in the field or to
her it was a stroll.  To me it was a
aching walk hehehe.  She had hold
of my fingers pulling me with her 🙂
I have no idea what he is doing out
there right now and I’m not about to
go and find out,  because I might end
up baby sitting again.  Our grandson
Christian wanted to come over this
weekend,  but Judy and I had made
plans to go for a drive Friday or
Saturday to take pictures.  Maybe
next weekend he’ll come.  Kids grow
up so fast.  I’m sure that’s what my
mom is saying every day.  Me and
Peggy will always be her children,
but in the real world,  the years are
showing on us.  I try to call my mom
at least twice a week or more and
talk for a while.  I know she misses
Judy and I.  When we were in Texas,
we used to spend a lot of time doing
stuff together.  But,  life moves on
and the pages of our journals are
rewritten as we get older as the
past holds on as burning memories.
God is always in control,  whether
we can see His work in motion or
not.  A lot of His work is unseen
until God uncovers the veil at the
appropriate time for us to see His
work.  Thank You God for all of
the blessings that You have given
me in my lifetime as well as all of
the blessings that You give us each
one as each day becomes the past.
Now I believe it’s time for me to
begin my little search back through
all that I’ve written here to see if
I can find a good word or phrase
that I can use for the title for today’s
brand new poem.  So it’s away I go
to that little place of my recollection
that I always like to call Recollect
Ville.  I think I found a decent title
about a 3rd down from the beginning
of my rambling 🙂  Now to see if I can
do anything with it.  Here goes.

Every Stroke Of The Brush

With a picture in mind
and a moments times hush
a painting comes alive
every stroke of the brush.
Maybe just a moment
that time had painted well,
but a blessing is gathered
with patterns to compel.
Minutes are a painting
as artwork for the eyes
as trees of autumn display
below the cloudy skies.
Every stroke of the brush
can become as a time
a persons own artwork
or words of a rhyme.
Seasons come alive
as the pages are turned
every stroke of the brush
becomes seconds discerned.
Scenes with an echo
might be times of a hush
as artwork comes alive
every stroke of the brush.

Well,  there ya go.  I hope that wasn’t
to corny for ya LOL.  I guess I’ve got
painting on the brain.  Judy finished one
painting just a minute ago and has now
started yet another.  The challenge for
this week is Fall colors.  Last week was
owls.  Judy will often paint just random
pictures.  She painted one  picture last
week that was a Snow Globe.  I had
sent her a picture of one and she did
her magic free handing it and I think
she did a great job on it and I wrote
a poem about it making it a picture
poem.  I think her painting looked
better than the picture 🙂  I might be
a tad bias,  but I think her painting
was pretty freaking good.  Right now
she’s doing a painting of a fall field
with hay bales off of a picture that
I took the other day.  Her painting
never looks exactly like the picture,
but that’s what make it the best in
my book.  She free hands with her
perception of the photo.  Anyways,
I don’t think I have anything more
to tell you aside from what I tell
you almost every week and that is,
I wrote some more poems and haiku.
Yeppers,  10 more poems with 2 of
them being Christmas poems and
an added 5 poems due to all of the
picture poems that I started doing
LOL.  I also wrote 22 more haiku
for all of the haiku lovers out there.
OK so I guess it’s time for me to
begin my search for that hardly
elusive off switch,  but not before
I wish you a wonderful weekend
or whatever’s left of it and a truly
blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.
OK,  where are ya hiding ya lil
off switch varmint?  Hmm,  LOL,
I see ya you silly thing.  I know
those batteries looked like a nice
place to hide,  but they do roll ya
know.  Plus they are only triple
A batteries.  Maybe ya should of
hidden behind the double A’s 🙂
I might not of seen ya then LOL.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S  A link to Judy’s new book as at
the end of the journal along with the
others.  Enjoy 🙂

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10+5 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

That Harvest Moon

A scarecrow of time
in a field full of corn
watches the night sky
from time he was born.
Within that harvest moon
he stands oh so tall
watching the cornfield
timeless through fall.
The stars seem to twinkle
some signals below
found as the stories
that so many know.
Within the moonlight
the time comes attune
as colors of the sky
from that harvest moon.

Orange Sky Of Eve

A mountainous display
paints up the view
in an orange sky of eve
from a day sky of blue.
It might seem as magic
with a moment of style
as an orange sky of eve
shows a mountainous smile.
A dream weavers pathway
in a picturesque theme
is the orange sky of eve
as a wonderful scene.
A god given blessing
from the soon sky of night
is an orange sky of eve
as the sun fades from sight.
Scenes become shadows
and awaken the view
as an orange sky of eve
makes dreams to come true.
A photographers chance
to most surely perceive
day meeting nighttime
with an orange sky of eve.

Beyond The Twilight

When nighttime’s displayed
a view is withheld.
Beyond the twilight
a story is spelled.
Words of a glimmer
with starlight to shine.
Beyond the twilight
is a magical sign.
Scenes come to life then
in darkness of space,
beyond the twilight
with soulful embrace.
So many miracles
with unending ink,
beyond the twilight
a moment to think.
Space conversations
as words are inlaid.
Beyond the twilight
are sights that evade.
Ones interpretations
might not be so right,
beyond the twilight
in darkness of night.

Sky Of Haze

Time is ticking
sky of haze
bringing forth
another phase.
Changing patterns
often viewed
sky of haze
is then accrued.
Golden colors
many gaze
with the clockwork
sky of haze.
Time is finding
orangish hues
sky of haze
to interfuse.
Wondrous glimmers
then unfold
sky of haze
a story told
and with windows
times provide
sky of haze
can never hide.

Autumns Wake

Looking for colors
of autumns design
there are some ages
of leaves in refine.
Found brown and yellow
within autumns wake
there are some colors
across a small lake.
Textured with stages
of colors so bright
autumns wake displays
in daytimes sunlight.
Seen as a painting,
but then a photograph
as someone with camera
records it to last.
Then with a picture
of a seasonal lake
one can remember
the view autumns wake.

The Oceans Mind

Beyond the rhythms
of waves that  crash
there’s a story
of times to pass.
Many vessels
will find their place
the oceans mind
a distant race.
Waves will grow
to bring surprise
maybe rogue
a larger size.
The oceans mind
has only views
how and when
it gives the news.
Time to time
as waves roll in
the oceans mind
begins agin.
It but only
shows design
when it wants,
the oceans mind.

Peace Is A Journey

Life is a threshold
of time laden views
pages of ages
we might each confuse.
Peace is a journey
that needs inner hope
to remove all the dust
and learn how to cope.
Time begins counting
even when we are still
as with our journey
for things to fulfill.
Fragments of pieces
that we each live through
can become lessons
to make a new you.
Peace is a journey
and not just a game,
for it’s a portion
of life to attain.
Losing the baggage
of your yesteryears
helps for the future
your journey endears.
Don’t let the bad times
to get you off track.
Peace is a journey
from thereto and back.

A Single Snowflake

As wintertime yields
its own times release
a single snowflake
floats down with peace.
Then as many brothers
and sisters join in
a single snowflake
begins to just grin.
Leaving its mark then
found on the ground
with a white family
found all around.
Painting up hillsides
and valleys below
a single snowflake
hears HoHoHo.
A sleigh is found flying
up high in the sky
as more snow is falling
from there way up high.
It’s old Santa Claus
and reindeer in flight
while the snow’s falling
so deep in the night.
A single snowflake
looks up then to see
what Santa brought him
and his family.
The snowflake slept there
in nighttime to morn
and when he awoke
a snowman was born.
A single snowflake
that was joined by a few
became the very heartbeat
for snow to accrue.
A single snowflake
that was found in a drift
saw he’d been part of
a Christmastime gift.
Built by some children
with snow on their mind
that got up early
to surely design.
Old Mr. Snowman
now so big and round
is a single snowflake
with more from the ground.
For that little snowflake
joined with some others
made Mr. Snowman
with sisters and brothers.
A Christmastime scene
from flakes of pure white
a single snowflake
began such a sight.
Then as the daylight
faded from view
a single snowflake
then bid its adieu.
For it found a special
time to endear
found within Christmas
that great time of year.

Time For Peace

Art of passion,
art of time,
a moments peace
needs nows design.
Time for peace
to come ignite
life of love
a greater sight.
Let’s end hatred,
let’s move on.
Time for peace
needs dusk to dawn.
Don’t let anger
fuel your drive.
Find some peaceful
found inside.
Seek that innermost
spark of love
that is glowing
from above.
Let’s make hatred
to decrease,
for it’s surely
time for peace.

An Autumn Stroll

A leisure walk
through colored leaves,
an autumn stroll
a story weaves.
In the distance
ones of time
walk this way
in falls design.
An autumn stroll,
camera in hand
becomes pictures
oh so grand.
A point in time
now shadows cast,
an autumn stroll
is from the past.
As a doorway
colored hue,
all my photos
still live true.
A leisure walk,
an autumn stroll
is a photo
times of ole.

The Snow Globe

Inside a small home
a snow globe of time
awaits for the moment
to come out and shine.
The snow globe of glass
for Christmas delight
awaits to be shook up
and show its great sight.
White snow to billow
and float gracefully
inside of the snow globe
with flakes fancy free.
The scenes come alive
as a story unfurls
looking like Christmas
with snowflakes of pearls.
Minutes of blessings
come with a shake,
that little snow globe
scenes to partake.
The time frames within it
are a Christmassy glow
as someone shakes up
the snow globe of snow.

Tracking Through Time

Found on the train tracks
I walk for a mile
to a bridge in the distance
that takes quite a while.
My footsteps were many
on a rough gravel path
beside the old train track
of future and past.
Tracking through time
as my footsteps are heard
the rocks beneath my feet
are an old written word.
Found as but a moment
of a distant times trail
tracking through time
with a story to tell.
I then found myself
on the center of time
upon the old train tracks
with a lot on my mind.
Found in the distance
is me walking back
tracking through time
on a railroad train track.

Wheat In The Field

Waiting for its harvest
the wheat in the field
has a great journey
a moment to yield.
Yellow with beauty
those grains will wave
telling their story
of a so distant day.
Amber waves of grain
that rustle in the breeze
tell of God’s glory
from sea to distant seas.
Wheat in the field
shows signs of true life
found from the past days
filled full of strife.
Yet within the pages
that our future foretells
wheat in the field
shows life that excels.
Painted with brush strokes
of bright yellow hues
wheat in the field
shows choices to choose.

An Evening Sea

A child’s sandcastle
in evenings wake
is joined with a seagull,
a picture to make.
Scenes are arising
with orange and blue
as an evening sea
then bids its adieu.
Night’s soon to follow
as evening arrives
with bucket and shovel
for a sandcastle’s size.
The scene is a moment
that time’s painted well
in an evening sky
with a story to tell.
A little starfish
watches minutes tick on
with an evening sea
as time moves along.

Thanksgiving Feast

Thankful for harvest
and amber of wheats,
autumn displays the
Thanksgiving feast.
Pumpkins and apples,
potatoes and more,
the Thanksgiving feast
is more to explore.
Needing to be thankful
for what all we’ve got,
because oh so many
have not got a lot.
The Thanksgiving feast
needs truth to include
and give to the many
that have little food.
Gifts from the heart
of what you can give
a Thanksgiving feast
to help others live.

Haiku
for Oct 8,  2016

A midst of moments
finds it perplexing inside
if you don’t belong.

Walls that we build up
might prevent the good people
from getting inside.

Windows of our minds
are as doorways to changes
our actions rely.

Singular thinking
can denote weird perception
of reality.

Life of a snowflake
finds itself as merely water
that has been frozen.

A hillside of time
might have a steep drop surprise
that makes ones tumble.

The mention of hate
puts many at their stations
awaiting a war.

A challenge for strength
often finds ones misconceived
of how strong they are.

Beyond a flower
lives a seed of life to grow
as seasons allow.

Braving thunderstorms
can prove that you are fearless
or really stupid.

Without a snowflake
a snowman cannot exist,
for he’s made from snow.

A path through the trees
might lead you to a river
or a real deep hole.

Scenes found of Christmas
often have photos of snow
that many don’t see.

Dreams of a heartbeat
that’s beating the same as yours
can become nightmares.

The sleight of ones hand
might hide the truth behind it,
so look more closely.

Lies are dynamite
with a unknowing fuse length,
with truth that explodes.

A story written
that becomes ones true beliefs,
does not make it true.

The epicenter
of Earthquakes or illusion
are both with damage.

A mere breath of air
is a blessing to receive
when suffocating.

Spirits around us
are with good and bad chapters
to help or to hurt.

Conviction of thought
can become a troubled life,
for we might be wrong.

The winds of winter
blow briskly with the snowflakes
making many mounds.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

Well,  the hands of the old clock on the
wall tell me that today is mine and Judy’s
wedding anniversary,  so I’m getting an
early start on writing this.  This passed
week has been a fairly peaceful one.  Not
much has gone on.  We were going to a
drive down to Baxter State Park,  but as
we checked on the internet on the Maine’s
fall foliage page,  we noticed that they’d not
yet begun to change,  but it looks like this
week might be prosperous.  We’ll keep an
eye on the foliage maps as well as our eye
on what that is outside and find the best
time to take a trip down south for some
fall pictures.  Judy and I went up north of
us to Presque Isle last Wednesday for her
doctors appointment and there were very
few signs of fall colors.  A few,  but not
what we’re looking for.  Judy is fixing to
head over to her brothers house to do a
little clean up and what not,  but she’ll be
home this afternoon in time for her and
I to go out to eat at Grammy’s in Linneus
Maine.  We’ve never been to that place.
We hear that the food’s good.  No matter,
we’ll most surely enjoy it.  Yeppers today
is our 15 year wedding anniversary.  Can
you believe it?  She’s put up with me for
15 years now LOL.  So tell me now,  what
is a 15 year anniversary?  Aluminum LOL.
Judy has done quite a few more paintings
and I’ve done quite a few more picture
poems.  I guess one could say we spend a
lot of time doing stuff LOL.  It seems that
Judy and her sisters,  daughters and kin
have all gotten the painting fever and now
every week they come up with a different
challenge to paint.  This week it’s owls 🙂
Last week was Harvest such as farms and
trees and fruits and vegetables.  I’m sure
I’ll be doing many more picture poems LOL.
Judy wants me to do up about 150 of them
so she can put them in a book.  I have one
or two from the beginning that I want to
redo such as the pictures,  but the rest are
good to go.  Also due to me starting this
picture poetry epidemic,  I’ve been writing
a few more poems every week than the
norm LOL.  Hey,  I can’t help it that I’ve
got a busy mind.  The weather up this way
has been sort of bouncing around from
the 50’s to the 60’s with a few 32 degree
nights.  Once again,  that is Fahrenheit 🙂
not Celsius or Centigrade.  While Judy’s
over at her brothers house I might take
the boys out for a little field trip if I’ve
got time before Judy gets home.  I fixed
us a couple of pancakes,  1 egg and 2
sausage links a piece for breakfast.  I
was just going to fix 3 pancakes and 2
sausages a piece,  but I figured today is
special,  so pancakes, eggs and sausage
was the menu.  I enjoy cooking for us.
We take turns doing the cooking.  She
made us omelets for breakfast yesterday.
Yeppers,  The Pearce’s Place is still
filled with love.  Both Benny and Rocky
just came in here and started staring at
me LOL.  Judy couldn’t take them with
her,  so they’re stuck with me hehehe.
No matter,  I’m sure they’ll enjoy it if I’m
able to take them for a field trip.  They
both get ecstatic over thoughts of that.
Benny wanted to go out in the field so
bad yesterday that he even disobeyed
me,  but I only gave him a light tap on
his hind end and he headed back to the
house.  So,  I’ll try and hurry this along.
They were just now raising a ruckus
in the living room LOL.  Benny was in
a playful mood and pestering Rocky 🙂
which I might add was a change of pace.
It’s usually just the opposite with Rocky
pestering Benny hehehe.  Anyways they
both followed me back in here jumping
up on me all the way and I gave them
both a treat.  Now maybe they’ll settle
down for a bit so I can get this dad gum
article written LOL.  Life is good.  It
has a few aches and pains within it,  but
all in all,  life is good.  Judy is getting
around a bit better now after getting
her cortisone shots in her knees.  Now
when we go down to Baxter State Park
she will be able to walk around with me
and take pictures more than she did
last time 🙂  God has been taking good
care of us.  LOL I just felt the eyes of
a dog staring at me.  Rocky is sat right
behind me,   just staring a hole in my
back hehehe.  Thank You God for all
that You have done for us and all that
You will surely do.  We praise Your
name always through Your Son Jesus
Christ.  Now I believe it’s time for me
to be looking back over all that I have
written here to see if I can find a good
word or phrase that I can use for the
title for today’s brand new poem.  So,
it’s away I go,  to that little place of my
recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I found
a decent title not far from the beginning
of my rambling LOL.  Now to see if I
can do anything with it.  Here goes.

From The Beginning

Scenes within minutes
found within days
from the beginning
was time changing phase.
Pages from a journal
written in time
from the beginning
were rhythm and rhyme.
Each with our patterns
connected from afar
from the beginning
was God’s shining star.
He brought together
our lives to be true
from the beginning
with me unto you.
Our lives have blossomed
much more yet to see
from the beginning
to our anniversary.
I love you my darling,
I love you my wife
from the beginning
and all of my life.

Happy 15 year anniversary Judy <3

So there ya go.  I hope you enjoyed all of
my rambling and maybe even the poem 🙂
Yes,  I can honestly say,  that my life with
Judy has been the best of years.  I hope and
pray that my daughters marriage is filled
with many blessings as well.  Judy and I
send our love.  I hope to meet Brennon one
day soon.  He seems to be a great guy and
he most definitely seems to make you happy
and that makes me happy.  You deserve to
have happiness in your life.  I’m sure he will
make Sami a great step dad.  So what else
is there to tell ya?  Hmm,  well my mom is
going through old pictures and sending me
the ones that are of me and hopefully she
can find some of my old friend Pepper. She
was my first dog,  but sad to say I was not
as good a friend to her as she was to me.
I guess my immaturity was at play.  She
was still my best friend.  She would run
along with me when I went on my bike
rides.  Anyways,  she still lives within my
heart and mind.  I hope my mom can find
a few pictures of her to send to me.  That
would surely be the greatest gift.  OK,
before I start the waterworks hehehe
I guess I need to tell you what I tell you
almost every week and that is,  I wrote
some more poems and haiku.  Yeppers,
10 more poems with an added 7 due to
the picture poems LOL.  Nope,  none
of them are Christmas poems,  but 1 of
them is about Benny hehehe The Snow
Dog.  1 of the poems is a birthday poem
that I wrote for my daughter last week.
Also 🙂  there is a cute little Halloween
poem in there that kind of sort of ups
the count to 18 poems,  but it’s only just
but a few lines hehehe.  Also I wrote 22
more haiku for all of the haiku lovers
out there.  So I hope you can find 1 or
2 of either or both that you like.  Now
it’s time for me to begin searching for
that hardly elusive off switch,  but not
before I wish you a most wonderful
weekend or whatever’s left of it and
a blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  Now
before I make that search for that
off switch,  I’m gonna stop and wait
till after Judy and I have come back
from our anniversary dinner.  Hello
again,  We’re back and we had a nice
dinner,  but had to bring much of it
home being we couldn’t eat it all 🙂
So it looks like we have food for
a midnight snack or whatever you
wanna call it LOL.  I took a few
pictures there and to and a couple
of Judy and I.  One of Judy when
we got to Grammy’s and then one
when we got home.  We’re full.  OH
and yes I took the boys out for a lil
field trip and they had a blast 🙂 OK,
now where are you ya ornery little
off switch critter?  I see ya there in
the midst of my Cheese Puffs LOL.
If the bag wasn’t crinkling every
time you moved I might not of seen
you hehehe.  Maybe next week 🙂
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzz.

P.S  A link to Judy’s new book as at
the end of the journal along with the
others.  Enjoy 🙂

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10+7 and 1 tiny one 🙂 and 22 hehehe 🙂

Mountain View

The sun found setting
in the sky
leaves a painting
with a sigh.
Evenings portrait
painted well
with a story
times to tell.
The sun’s a glimmer
seen to fade,
a mountain view
the evening laid.
Seasons changing
make more clear
the scenes we see
and things we hear.
The sun found setting
leaves a trace
timeless moments
sights can taste.
Scenes that once were
skies of blue
are then a faded
mountain view.

Lighthouse Of Blue

The seas with waves
create the view
within the sight,
lighthouse of blue.
The oceans shore
is just a time
the lighthouse sits
with its great shine.
The lighthouse of blue,
life’s guiding light
in darkness of waves,
is the greatest sight.
The lighthouse keeper
gives peaceful array
while his light shines
to brighten the gray.
The seasons evade
that wonderful view
that bright light at night,
light house of blue.

Pigtails Swinging

A little girl swinging
in the moonlight,
stars brightly shining
into the night.
With her little puppy
just smiling with love
watching the little girl
below stars above.
Pigtails swinging
in the nights breeze,
ropes on a branch
and a seat in the trees.
The evenings journal,
written in the moon
seems as a dream
with starlight attune.
Pigtails swinging,
teddy bear in hand
dreams of the magic
from the sandman.

The Starlight Hours

Beyond the night sky
the starlight will play
with hours counted then
unto the day.
Stars as the seasons
become as a stage,
displayed as twinkles,
the turn of a page.
The starlight hours
are counted and seen
sometimes a passage
found in a dream.
Life becomes minutes
and seconds to find
within the starlight
and every design.
Scenes come alive
with Heavenly flowers
found in the night sky
the starlight hours.

My Birthday Girl

Today’s a great day
that the minutes transpire
a life of a moment
a candle afire.
Your age is a number
that time frames display,
while in a whisper
breathes of today.
My birthday girl
has grown up to find
the essence of love
and greatest of time.
Now with her own child
she grows even more
to find all the blessings
that God has in store.
I love you my daughter
and wish for you true
to have a great day
Happy birthday to you.

Windows Of The Soul

Sights found misdirected
are often very true,
for even misdirected
there’s truth within the view.
Windows of the soul
are scenes that many see,
for they are found so often
a place in you and me.
Life is often patterned
after what all that we’ve seen
then within our windows
becomes a raging stream.
Clueless with the minutes
that our windows open wide
and leave within our moments
lessons then applied.
For within every heartbeat
is a time to take its toll,
but God is there to guide your
windows of the soul.

Redundant

Now is but a fraction
actions then applied
sometimes seen redundant,
times that coincide.
Pictures of a painting
found upon a wall
might be an abstraction
of winter or of fall.
Even as the minutes
tick on their own way
some might find redundant
what many do or say.
Yet it’s just perception
of how so many view
that becomes redundant
in what that ones will do.
But the term redundant
is not always the same,
for it is so often
a new time to attain.

A Mirrored You

Often when we’re angered
it’s just because we see
someone with a pattern
that we do not agree.
Sometimes though that person
might be a mirrored you
with your own reflection
and all of which you do.
Many times our anger
will start within ourselves
something we remember
that lived upon our shelves.
A mirrored you of moments
that time has magnified
that of which you’re seeing
in others now applied.
Lessons come as dewdrops
sometimes as the rain
and a mirrored you perception
might not live in your vein.

An Autumn Drive

While on a drive
through yesteryear
the scenes of time
become more clear.
An autumn drive
that’s so inlaid,
trees with colors
that God made.
The rolling wheels
of timeless view
an autumn drive
displays its hue.
With many colors
dawn to night,
an autumn drive
is such a sight.
The scenery seems
to come alive
amidst the time
an autumn drive.

On The Edge

Taking pictures
standing still,
on the edge
it might appeal.
Gradient scenes
changing fast,
on the edge
a shadow’s cast.
Heavens venture
opens wide
on the edge
with time applied.
Leisure moments
might be made
on the edge
a bit mislaid.
Often scenes are
better found
on the edge
with solid ground.

Ripples In Time

Seen as a ripple
sometimes a wave
ripples in time
are found every day.
Often a memoir
a turbulent time
is just a ripple
found in design.
So many ripples
in waters of age
might be a moment
found upon stage.
Just but a second
seeming as more,
time’s but a threshold
needing an oar.
Found in the waters
some rocks might shine
as many lessons
ripples of time.

Paradise Bench

Amidst the colors
of leaves so bright
there is a bench
that sits so right.
It is a moment
suspended in time,
a paradise bench
that is so divine.
Ones that sit there
will see the display,
the colors of fall
in a magical way.
Paradise bench,
a wonderful hue
displays the times
of then thereunto.
A place to rest
in seasons great sight
paradise bench
each day unto night.

Political Vibe

Trivial misconceptions
will often grow too large,
a political vibe of action
might then take full charge.
Not paying mind to needing
and losing track of view,
a political vibe of action
might be less than true.
Standpoints situations
of seasons in the sand,
a political vibe of action
might not be so grand.
For with the pages turning
and all that many see,
a political vibe of action
might end in debris.
Trivial minutes focused
can become pain applied,
so look for the importance
and not political vibe.

The Snow Dog

Silence of winter
is snow falling down
white fluffy flakes
collect on the ground.
We’ve got a small dog
that just loves to play
in the sunshine above us
and snow every day.
Yes he’s the snow dog
so fluffy and white
found on the snow mounds
when they’re in sight.
Our little doggy
just watches in wait
for the snow season
to come and create.
White snow to play in
and enjoy the view,
but now he’s just dreaming
of snow to accrue.
During the summer
he might sit on a log,
but during the winter
he is the snow dog.
He then is sitting
on snow mounds of white
found in the daytime
and also at night.
He is the snow dog
our little loving boy
as he is bouncing
and filled full of joy.

It’s Pointless

As troubles come
and seasons appear
truly it’s pointless
to just shed a tear.
For with the moments
and with the days,
time is found moving
sometimes as a haze.
Truly it’s pointless
to let ones inside
and create anger
that you cannot hide.
Look for the glimmers,
look for the shine
in all the blessings
from Lord God Divine.
Search through the days
and also each night
and find the joy
of God’s Holy light.
For yes it’s pointless
to just mope around,
when you could be then
upon solid ground.

Witch Of Green

Bewitching Themes
of Halloween
are found to be
yellow and green
as the times
of creepy rhymes
might define
a witch of green.

Photographer’s View

Scenes in a meadow
with colors so fine
display the pictures
a photographer finds.
Found in formation
of colorful days,
a photographer’s view
is a wonderful gaze.
Seen is his shadow
with camera in hand
the photographer’s view
of where he may stand.
Some houses blending
into the photograph
painting a picture
of future and past.
Then as the minutes
leave their timely trace
the photographer’s view
shall not then erase.

Semblance Of Time

Train tracks to nowhere
yet somewhere it seems
the semblance of time
is found in a dream.
Hope of a turnstile
to be found in a time
like a train going nowhere
yet still seeks to find.
Many stand  on corners
and don’t even try
as the semblance of time
is how they comply.
The facts of a moment
are train tracks of time
leading a train down
to somewheres rewind.
Often misconceptions
are the scenes many see
as semblance of time
with a skeleton key.

Haiku
for Oct 1,  2016

Designs of a place
are often the reflections
of a persons soul.

Autumns occurrence
is as a colorful theme
created with leaves.

Life with a flower
is as aromas of time
that is poetry.

With clouds floating by
there are chances for thunder
with a little rain.

Dispersed imagery
paints a picture of the mind
with dreams and nightmares.

Life in a nutshell
might need to be cracked open
to show its beauty.

Clowns found parading
might be headed to no good
or maybe parties.

Pondering issues
can open a door for fear
and what that can be.

Below the starlight
holds a magical kingdom
that your dreams can find.

So many moments
that we find within our lives
are only windows.

Trivial desires
can be either good or bad,
for desires tell truth.

Photographers dreams
can be a mere photograph
that eludes their time.

Cherished emotions
are the pleasures remembered
that keep us going.

Discolored water
leaves the thoughts of pollution
or maybe Kool-Aid.

Change needs some action
within your thinking patterns
and the things you do.

The class clown of life
will maybe display humor
to hide what is real.

Beyond what we see
are things that truly exist,
but in their own realm.

Placing a grade
on the lives of many
can be very wrong.

Sometimes a mirror
only shows what we’re  wanting
and not what that’s real.

The age of beauty
has no number upon it
as life shows appeal.

A word that’s spoken
becomes an action in place
so take care what’s said.

Now is just a time
that in time will be the past
as minutes tick on.
