ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends
& Merry Christmas

I hope you’re having a great day.  Judy and
I are enjoying our time together as the snow
falls from the sky.  Of course at the moment
she is over at her daughters house, but she
should be home soon.  It’s snowing and I took
the boys outside for a romp in the snow. They
love to play in the snow.  Benny loves to climb
the snow mounds and at like king of the hill 🙂
It’s the simple things that make us happy.  We
don’t have much,  but we have each other and
that’s worth more than any store bought gift
that could be bought.  I know many of you are
alone for the holidays,  but always remember
that God is always with you.  Judy and I will
always be with you in heart.  Love knows no
distance.  It travels far beyond perspective.
It’s still snowing outside and the snowplows
just went down the road.  Benny is barking in
the living room which leads me to believe that
Judy might be home.  Yep,  she just drove up.
Her daughters gave us a big box of breakfast
stuff.  Judy’s glasses came in the mail,  but
it seems they got our prescriptions mixed up
and they used my prescription which doesn’t
help her and I can’t use them being I didn’t
need readers.  Judy and I both bought  some
PC glasses to help us see our PC monitors.
I looks like when I receive mine,  they will
more than likely have used her prescription.
If that don’t beat all LOL.  Oh well,  I guess
we will have to return them and have them
redo the order or give us our money back.
But for now,  we will survive.  We’re going
to watch some Christmas movies tonight
and enjoy the evening together with the boys.
So I think I’m going to do this journal a little
differently than I normally do.  I’m gonna
just bid you all a very merry Christmas and
a happy New Year.  I’ve written 14 poems
this week and guess what?  They are all
Christmas poems.  Nope,  I didn’t write any
haiku this week 🙂  I’ll start it up back on
the norm next year LOL.  May you find
many blessings Christmas with stockings
full of joy.  Peace and God bless to you all.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S  A link to our brand new book
Pearce’s Poetry Pictures
is at the end of the journal along
with all of the others.  Enjoy 🙂

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10+4 and hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Christmas Tree Farm

On a snowy white day
with a driver of snow
two dogs in the back
were ready to roll.
The snowman driver
was then on his way
to a Christmas tree farm
on this wonderful day.
They parked in front
as they headed inside
the snowman and dogs
to find what’s supplied.
They found them a tree
that they all agreed upon
and they loaded it up
and away they were gone.
The Christmas tree owner
gave a smile so sincere
as he said merry Christmas
I’ll see you next year.

A Simple Flake

As the season
grabs hold tightly
winters portions
are seen nightly.
Some but only
see the scenes
Christmas stories
filled with dreams.
Yet so many
see the snow
flakes of white
that grow and grow.
A simple flake
from cloudy skies
becomes Christmas
as it flies.
Down to Earth
to land in place
on the ground
or someone’s face.
The essence of
what all we find
does not create
Christmastime.
A simple flake
is just of snow
a whitish hue
for wind to blow.
Christmas scenes
are great to see,
but they’re just
a small degree.
For Christmas is
much more than this
Santa Claus
and his large list.
It’s about Jesus
no mistake,
so much more
than a simple flake.

Without A Prayer

Many people
stop and stare
without praying,
without care.
Some but only
watch and grin
as ones barely
can begin.
Many Scrooges
without passion
display shadows
heartless fashion.
Without a prayer
so many say
money is the
only way.
Christmas is
a time of year
to give of love
and be sincere.
Not just giving
to walk away,
but giving love
from day to day.
Don’t leave ones
without a prayer.
Pray for them
and show you care.

Another Place

Within our thoughts
of Christmas cheer
and another place
another year,
there might live
a fantasy
a wondrous place
we wish to see.
Within our dreams
we might display
another place
another day.
Christmas stockings
on the mantle sill
waiting for Santa
to come and fill.
Another place
another time
becomes memoirs
Christmas rhyme.
Children’s stories
to take to sleep
another place
for love to keep.
Seasons doorways
give a view
another place
for me and you.
Dreams of peace
and love and joy
with each child
a little toy.
Another place
for ones to find
seasons greetings
Christmastime.

Snow Of Christmas

Wondrous pictures
many find
sometimes only
in their mind.
Snow of Christmas
sought to see
living in
their memory.
Wondrous portions
many seek
Christmas mornings
skies to speak.
Snowflakes falling
such a sight
Christmas blessings
painted white.
Snow of Christmas
many find
then and after
time to time.
Yet it’s only
just a scene
snow of Christmas
seasons dream.

Motel Christmas

A cold snowy road
down a long journey’s mile
displays a great moment
in a Christmassy style.
A motel is awaiting
for a seasonal time
Christmas in essence
in a snowy design.
Snow filled walkways
to a nearby diner
that seems to be made
by a Christmas designer.
With a clear blue sky
after a long nights snow
the motel Christmas
awaits with a glow.
The evening beckons
for travelers minds
to come in and stay
if they’re so inclined.
Motel Christmas
is a place ones can stay
to come and enjoy
the soon Christmas Day.

A Winter’s Drive

Amidst the winter
a winding road
displays a journey
a snowy abode.
Home for a moment
as seconds tic on
a winter’s drive
of time thereupon.
Singing some songs
some Christmassy tunes
on a winter’s drive
that’s on passed noon.
Seasonal stories
unleash their display
on a winter’s drive
in their magical way.
Evergreens standing
awaiting their cue
to be filled with snow
to create a new view.
The scene then becomes
a moment alive
while we’re amidst
a winter’s drive.

Christmas Candles

Painted candles
seem to burn
Christmas gleaming
to discern.
Seeming scented
they become
Christmas candles
of God’s Son.
A painted picture
comes alive
bringing essence
to survive.
Shining brightly
through the hours
Christmas candles
in some flowers.
Minutes finding
flavored scenes
Christmas candles
as they gleam.
Painted with a
hands desire
Christmas candles
shine as fire.

Painted Santa

A Santa scene
a painted style
is with Santa
and his smile.
A Painted Santa
of red and white
is displayed as
a wonderful sight.
His eyes gazing
bright to see
the good and bad
in you and me.
A Painted Santa
smiles so great
Christmas dreams
of time and date.
He’s a painting
painted true
of Santa Claus
for us to view.
Painted Santa
says with glee
Merry Christmas
to you and me.

Home For Christmas

A season’s settings
of a timeless stage
begins with a moment
of a Christmassy page.
Turned as a story
that’s written in time.
Home for Christmas
is a season divine.
It might be a painting
a Christmassy theme
lights all twinkling
red,  blue and green.
Home for Christmas
is a sight many view
two dogs on a porch as
Christmas comes true.
Some cardinals sitting
perched on a fence
making as a picture
of Christmas intense.
Home for Christmas
is something to find
painted as a dream
of this wonderful time.

Days Of Change

Years have passed
and things have turned
lifestyles differently
found discerned.
Seasons settings
change their glance
leaving many
in a trance.
Days of change
are written true
in our seasons
Christmas view.
Years have passed
and life has changed
winters now
are rearranged.
Doorways changing
each day through
with the seasons
Christmas hue.
Days of change
from Christmas past
displays now
its shadows cast.

Two Christmas Dogs

Two boys of Christmas
with hearts of pure gold
sleep now together
as this story is told.
White snow of Christmas
is where that they play
two Christmas dogs
in a loving array.
They bounce around joyful
in mounds of white snow
and run around together
in here to and fro.
Yet now they’re sleeping
together in peace
to rest up for another
most joyful release.
To run around playing
together in stride
either out in the snow
or right here inside.
The two Christmas dogs
now sleep close together
but soon they’ll be bouncing
in their Christmas sweaters.

Christmas Moose

Sighted surely
painted free
there’s a moose
that I can see.
A Christmas moose
of painted times
seeks the night for
Santa signs.
He’s so watchful
under the moon
while he hums
a Christmas tune.
There are presents
under the tree
that he guards
for you and me.
He seeks Santa
in the night
underneath the
bright moonlight.
With his antlers
like radar
Christmas moose
seeks near and far.

Yuletide Greetings

Season’s sunshine
timeless fashion
brings forth blessings
filled with passion.
Yuletide greetings
ones will say
sharing joyful
Christmas Day.
Some see Santa
in their dreams
while so many
want for things.
Different people
different styles
with their different
ways and whiles.
Yuletide greetings
might seem cold,
but they are
from days of old.
Lives of many
counted true
still wish joy
to me and you.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been a messy week these passed few
days.  The weather has been bouncing all
over the place LOL.  We got some more
snow Friday and Saturday.  Today though
we got rain.  It got up to around 37 degrees
and melted off some of the snow.  Judy’s
doing well.  We had our grandson with us
for the weekend.  Christian always loves to
come and hang with grandma and grandpa.
We enjoy having him.  Judy just got back
from meeting her daughter Helena in town
to drop Christian off.  She said the roads
are clear.  Of course the county crew have
been busy plowing and salting and dirting
the roads so I was fairly sure they were
driveable.  Judy’s gotta get to bed early
tonight,  being she has an early doctors
appointment in the morning.  We’re still
fending with that add on to our home 🙁
It’s nothing but a pain in the butt.  We’re
doing the best we can to make do with it
until our landlord can do something about
it.  It’s a freaking nightmare as it stands.
Oh well,  life goes on.  Next topic.  Well,
it looks as though tomorrow (Monday)
we’ll have a high of 6 F degrees which is
more like it should be.  Right now it’s 27
degrees and supposed to be -1 F degrees
by morning.  LOL the temperature went
from a high of 37 F today to a high of
6 F for tomorrow.  Talk about a weather
variation hehehe.  Hopefully the rest of
the week makes up its freaking mind LOL.
Judy and I have been busy making more
poetry pictures for volume 2 of our book.
I’ve already got 96 picture poems hehehe.
Judy’s written a few too.  It’s something
that we can do together.  I enjoy writing
poems for our pictures and her paintings.
It’s something that keeps us from going
nuts hehehe.  I took our front door mat
and through it out over the ice that is in
the addition so that Benny would go out
and go potty LOL.  He didn’t want to get
his feet wet.  Rocky had no problem with
it Hahaha.  Anyways,  Benny just walked
around the mat and in the water/ice to get
inside.  He is weird LOL.  There is just no
pleasing him hehehe.  Oh well,  hopefully
we will survive till springtime when Calvin
our landlord can finally get this addition
finished.  I do though have a clue that he
will have to put down a new floor in it and
ceiling.  If we can just survive till then 🙂
I guess it could always be worse.  At least
we have heat and food to eat with a roof
over our head.  There are many that don’t
have that.  So we’re thankful for what we
have.  We have each other and we have
our boys.  Benny and Rocky keep us
entertained LOL.  I cannot believe how
many picture poems I have done.  It seems
like writing poems for pictures has put a
fire under my thoughts and started them
to cooking.  LOL I know,  it’s not like I’ve
not written a lot of poems before I began
doing picture poems hehehe.  I guess the
fact is I enjoy writing picture poems.  The
pictures help me to open more doors to
my old thinker 🙂  I did manage to take
a few pictures this passed week.  So my
stationery will have a few views of  our
frozen world up here.  Christian went with
me Saturday to walk out and check the
mail and I got a few pictures of us hehehe.
Benny and Rocky were good little boys
and waited at the end of the driveway for
us to return back to the house.  They
wanted to come with us,  but I told them
no and they just sat and waited for us 🙂
Friday I went out to check the mail and
took a little video of my there and back
stroll hehehe.  Anyways,  It’s a winter
white world up here.  Expecting more
snow Thursday,  but then that can change
at the drop of a hat.  So,  for all of you
out there that wear hats,  quit dropping
them.  It makes the weather change and
what we were prepared for gets changed.
LOL It could change Thursdays snow
to Mondays snow and so on and so on 🙂
So,  snug those hats down will ya hehehe.
LOL I’m just being silly.  I think being
silly helps us to deal with life when it gets
out of hand,  but always remember,  the
silliness has a place and time that it is
to exist and then seriousness must be
paid forward.  Judy thinks there are a
few times that I should lighten up,  but
then other times she wishes I would take
a sleeper pill LOL.  I do worry about
finances and many other things.  I have
been called a worry wart by my parents.
I try to let God have it,  but my dear
old humanity always seems to step in
and worry.  I know God will not allow
anything in our lives that we cannot
handle,  but I am human hehehe.  God
knows me and knows how I am.  He
is always with me in conversation as I
am always talking to Him and listening
and looking for His responses.  Many
times His response is to wait till the
time is right or not to do anything due
to my want is not a need and it would
just cause me more problems.  Don’t
become angry if you feel your prayers
have not been answered.  Maybe they
have been answered with a simple NO,
for what we are praying for is not what
should be.  Now I believe it’s time for
me to be looking back over all that I’ve
written to see if I can find a good word
or phrase that I can use for the title of
today’s brand new poem.  So it’s away
I go to that place of my recollection
that I always like to call RECOLLECT
VILLE.   I think I may have found a
fairly decent title about a 3rd of a way
back through my rambling 🙂  Now to
see if I can do anything with it.  Here
goes nothing…..

Expecting More

Winter’s breeze
displays it’s breath
a certain scene
from more to less.
It shows its way
as winter’s door
with a few then
expecting more.
Then there are ones
that wish for spring
the less of winter
with birds to sing.
Expecting more
from each days stride
will often show
the truth inside.
The minutes pass
with each new day
while time relies
on God’s Own way.
He has the seconds
and hours in hand
and knows what to do
with woman and man
So let the moments
within today’s door
be of God’s choices
not expecting more.

There ya go 🙂  I hope you understood the
poem and maybe even liked it.  Also I hope
you enjoyed my rambling or at least liked
it a bit LOL.  If you didn’t then,  Oh well.
Life goes on.  I reckon there will be many
articles of mine that might not agree with
you hehehe.  We each have our different
strides in life and what you like one day
might not fill the bill on another day LOL.
So,  I wonder,  is there anything that I’ve
forgotten to tell you?  Hmm,  I don’t think
I have left out anything and if I have,  It
might make it into next weeks journal 🙂
One thing though I want to remind you
is to share with your friends and family
about our new book Pearce’s Poetry
Pictures.  We would sure like to sell a
few more books.  I’m sure you will love
it.  It has over 150 picture poems in it
that Judy and I have done.  So OK,  now
I believe it’s time for me to be telling
you what I tell you almost every week
and that is,  I wrote some more poems
and haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more poems
with 8 Christmas poems.  But as I’ve
done quite often lately,  I wrote a few
more poems.  4 more to be exact hehehe.
So that ups the poem count to 14 and
yes I once again wrote 22 haiku for all
of the haiku lovers out there.  I hope
you can find 1 or 2 of either or both
that you like.  Now it’s come to that time
that I must begin searching for that not
so great at hiding off switch,  but not
before I wish you a most wonderful week.
Remember,  Jesus loves you and we do
too.  Okie dokie,  now where’s that ornery
off switch hiding this week?  Searching
the room!!!!!  Hmmmmm.  I think I can
see something that seems out of place
just a tad.  Yeppers,  that silly switch
was trying to blend in with my camera
cards LOL.  I mean,  it’s not even flat.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S  A link to our brand new book
Pearce’s Poetry Pictures
is at the end of the journal along
with all of the others.  Enjoy 🙂

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10+4 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

A Minute Gained

Time’s a number
then a phase
counted moments
in the days.
A minute becomes
ticking wonders
seconds deployed
scenic sunders.
Fragments found
as time ticks on
a minute gained
will soon be gone.
Many portions
of our days
find our shadows
in weird ways.
Some as echoes,
some as chimes
a minute gained
turns into rhymes.
Rhythmic patterns
come and go
a minute gained
how moments flow.
Time is counted
life attained,
sometimes only
a minute gained.

Distant Treasures

Seasons greetings
distant days
still remind of
distant ways.
Distant treasures
time recalls
are with toys
and bouncing balls.
Christmas mornings
come in sight
distant scenes
each Christmas light.
Time’s a doorway
counted true
distant treasures
come in view.
What’s remembered
turns a page
distant treasures
age to age.
Each with memoirs
timeless dreams
distant treasures
painted scenes.

A Santa Smile

Found in a painting
is a scene great to see
with Frosty and Santa
by a large Christmas tree.
A cardinal and birdhouse
is there in the snow
along with candy canes
red striped to show.
With a Santa smile
in a Christmassy way
time is but a moment
a painted display
Santa is smiling
with red cheeks aglow
some holiday cheer
and a HoHoHo.

Christmas Cardinals

Within a time
there is a scene
Christmas cardinals
winter’s gleam.
Male and female
perched in time
in a painted

With their colors
red to gaze
painted in the
Christmas days.

A Little Ride

With some strokes
of painted days
there are two dogs
in windows gaze.
A little ride
to town and back
a painted scene
with tree intact.
Upon the car
a Christmas view
brings them joy
with there and to.
Within a while
of snow of white
a scene of bliss
is in their sight.
A little ride
becomes their joy
more than any
doggy toy.
They are watching
time fly by
snowflakes falling
from the sky.
Benny and Rocky
watch and wait
the ride to end
with true elate.
A moment’s time
uncovers veils
our home seen
with wagging tails.

The Color Of Love

Life is but a glance
that many will see
and not look beyond
what truly can be.
The color of love
is a texture and style
painted with hearts
and a joyful smile.
Time is just a gaze
with minutes that pass
disbursing the views
that many look past.
The color of love
is a tinted array
painted with passion
in a various way.
Some are the painters
with all that they do
and others are painters
of lives really blue.
Be a true painter
of passionate smiles
the color of love
with hope that compiles.

One Christmas Day

One magical day
in the snow of white
there was a scene
a wonderful sight.
Beside a tree
was Santa’s sleigh
seen in the snow
one Christmas day.
Some deer were lost
and found themselves
real near the house
of Santa’s elves.
One Christmas day
this sight was found
Cardinals landing
upon the ground.
With some deer
in this display
was found the joy
one Christmas day.
The time was magic
as it was shared
one Christmas day
that none compared.

Santa’s Tree

One winter’s night
old Santa sought
a Christmas tree
that’s not store bought.
He went out seeking
walking afoot
in suit of purple,
covered with soot.
He found a tree
that fit his style
and carried it home
with a little smile.
There was a laugh
that many heard
a HoHoHo
his joy inferred.
Within the moonlight
I could see
the sight of Santa
and Santa’s tree.

A Cloudy Day

A summers day
with ocean near
has some seagulls
I can hear.
A cloudy day
with ships to sail
turns to sights
of great detail.
The ocean view,
a distant scene
with some islands
in between.
A cloudy day
brings forth a view
a summers day
with ocean blue.
Yet it’s now
a picture show
with some ships
where waters flow.
A cloudy day
becomes much more
taking pictures
from the shore.

Blindly Stepping

With our actions day to day
our steps might be in air
stepping in a place and time
that we are unaware.
Blindly stepping in a void
to and from our stride
often finding many problems
that we cannot hide.
Yet so many people stepping
will not ever try
to let Jesus guide their steps
within their by and by.
Then within their day and age
their future will display
how their twisted lives of now
are found from day to day.
Blindly stepping without faith
can lead you to a hole
that of which old Satan dug
to surely steal your soul.
So let Jesus guide your path
when choices are to make
then all your blindly stepping
will be no mistake.

Amidst The Winter

When while driving
winters days
I saw some cattle
in my gaze.
They were standing
in the snow
watching me then
driving slow.
I stopped my car
and walked a while
taking pictures
times compile.
The cows continued
their own stride
amidst the winter
snows applied.
Yet a few
would stop and stare
time to time
with such a glare,
as if to say
why don’t you enter
and join us
amidst the winter.
Those cattle seemed
a bit absurd
as they mooed
their every word.
I took the hint
and headed home
to leave the cattle
where they roam.

Remembering Autumn

On an old country road
on a brisk autumn day
a scene then awakened
in a wonderful way.
Remembering autumn
as a sweet country drive
brings alive moments
that will always survive.
A day with a picture
that is taken to recall
displays the occasion
of the colors of fall.
The season is a blessing
awakened to be seen
remembering autumn
as a wonderful dream.
The colors so brightly
display sights to view
as the day moves on
with it’s wondrous hue.
Leaves of all colors
begin then to fall
remembering autumn
the best time of all.

Christmas In The City

A seasonal time frame
of dark city nights
can become such a display
of bright shining lights.
Christmas lights shining
in the smallest of places
Christmas in the city
that a moment embraces.
Maybe just a shadow
of Christmas tree lights
becoming of the essence
of wonderful sights.
The people sound asleep
as the night lights display
Christmas in the city
such a wonderful day.
Christmas morning comes
as children jump for joy
for Santa Claus had come
to bring them each a toy.
Christmas in the city
and the moon shining bright
becomes as a memoir,
a Christmastime night.

Christmas Road

This road of winter
passed our home
displays a place
where seasons roam.
A Christmas style
with snow of white
a Christmas road
in mid daylight.
The road has trees
a whitish hue
a seasons scene
for ones to view.
This Christmas road
is a moment in time
that displays stories
that ones can rhyme.
It has a lifestyle
of its very own
this Christmas road
to town and home.
It speaks of journies
seasons will say
this Christmas road
to Christmas Day.

Without our choices
we become only robots
programmed to do things.

Destiny stands out
as doorways become opened
displaying our pathways.

A minute will pass
leaving many mysteries
found within our minds.

A journey in snow
leaves a trail ones can follow
unless it snows more.

Details of a heart
are rhythms of a moment
that many perceive.

When a flower blooms
it begins the end of life
that begins again.

Mentally challenged
is but only perception
of what ones perceive.

Decisions in life
need much more than just a thought,
they need some action.

Discerning autumn
is a pathway of colors
that falls to the ground.

Lost is ones thinking
when looking in a mirror
seeing just themselves.

Winter is a time
that disperses many themes
with snowflakes an cold.

We are all unique
the same as little pebbles
that create a beach.

A window of life
displays different viewpoints
with ones looking through.

A leaf of autumn
becomes yet another life
falling to the ground.

A morning’s sunshine
is often clouded with rain
but the sun still shines.

Looking for flowers
might find you a bunch of weeds
disguised as flowers.

As the Earth rotates
it continues its journey
to make day and night.

A tree that’s alone
will look larger and taller
than with many trees.

A chartered vessel
sails to its designation,
but sometimes will sink.

Counting your fingers
might leave you without numbers
for counting passed ten.

Today’s tomorrow
might come a bit too early
when we’ve wasted time.

Chance is a time
that often comes with problems
that we should avoid.

Your frosty friend Bill 🙂

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

I’m getting a slightly late start on today due to
our water being frozen and having to call our dear
landlord to have him come and fix it.  I wasn’t able
to go back to bed when I found the water frozen
at 6:30 AM and I waited till about 9 AM to call him
and tell him about the issue.  Then I had to get my
loving but tired wife up just in case Calvin needed
to come inside.  It took Calvin until about 3 PM to
get the water thawed and running again.  Then we
decided to go back to bed for a bit 🙂  It’s now 5:30
in the afternoon and I fixed Judy and I some much
belated breakfast/brunch.  So I reckon you can tell
that this day did not start off well LOL.  I guess the
same could be said for our landlord being he had to
work on the pipes from the outside connection in
the ice and snow hehehe.  He had to break all of the
ice around the hot water heater door to get it to
open so he could then thaw the pipes and do a bit
of insulating to prevent it from happening again 🙂
Yep,  this day started off a little bumpy,  but it’s
smoothing out gradually.  Judy is starting another
painting.  This weeks challenge is Christmas trees.
Last week they did snowmen 🙂  Her and all of
her family that have joined in the painting group
have all gotten real good.  I guess my heart isn’t
in painting. My heart lies in poetry and music 🙂
It’s 12 F degrees right now at 6 PM.  It’s supposed
to be 5 F by morning and we’re expecting more
snow.  Yep,  we need more snow LOL.  I can’t help
but wonder how people survived before there was
fire LOL.  I guess there was a lot of cuddling back
then and a lot of animals losing their fur for the
sake of the humans.  Hey wait a minute,  isn’t that
still going on?  Times change,  but I reckon some
things will remain the same.  Anyways,  Judy and
I are staying warm.  We spend much of our time
in the PC room where we are right now unless we
are in bed LOL,  then of course we’d be in the
bedroom.  Benny and Rocky are always not too
far from us LOL.  Rocky lies down in the floor
right beside me for a while and then he heads to
the other side of the bed to sleep next to Benny
and of course Judy 🙂  There’s still been nothing
done to the add on of our home.  The water from
the leaky roof has frozen on the floor and there
are icicles hanging everywhere LOL.  I’ve bought
a doggy door and it should be delivered in a few
days.  Then we’ll ask one of our relatives to put
it in for us.  The doggy door is going in the door
of the addition so at least we won’t have to go
out in that room and open that door for the boys
when they need to go outside LOL.  Maybe by
springtime Calvin will get all of the repairs to
the add-on done.  We don’t see it happening in
this weather for sure.  I bought a wet/dry vac,
but I’m fairly sure it won’t vacuum up ice LOL.
It’ll have to wait till spring thaw HaHaHa.  Yep,
our house is in a bit of mess,  but hopefully one
day it will all come together.  If we had the money
we’d pay somebody to finish the add on,  but we
don’t,  so we must wait.  At least it doesn’t affect
our house.  It just makes it rather hard going
outside,  being that our back door is frozen shut.
This is life in the northeastern part of Maine :).
It’s not a life for everyone.  I love the snow,  but
the ice I could do without LOL.  Yep,  it’s nothing
but a pain.  But you have deal with good and the
bad.  It’s that way anywhere you go.  There are
the good and bad things to deal with.  So,  here
we are LOL.  There are many good points about
living up here.  Too many for me to name and
that makes dealing with the bad times not so
hard.  Thankfully the boys love snow.  I will
never forget the first day that Rocky saw the
white stuff falling from the sky.  He glanced
out into the field that was slowly but surely
turning white and he and Benny ran out side
by side bumping against one another as they
played like two brothers could ever play LOL.
Of course I’m sure Milo is always in the back
of Benny’s thoughts,  but he truly loves his
little/not so little brother hehehe.  Yeppers
Rocky is an eating machine.  If there is food
he eats while Benny waits for him to finish
and then he eats.  We’ve stopped giving them
treats as often as we had been. Rocky was
a bit over weight,  but he’s about normal now.
He still eats more than Benny LOL.  Benny
gets what’s left.  It doesn’t matter if I put the
food in two separate pans,  which I do,  Benny
will still wait for Rocky to get done eating
and then eat from the same pan.  Then they
move to the next pan LOL.  They’re healthy
little boys and they love to run and play in
the house,  outside,  or wherever they may
be hehehe.  They’re both lying in their beds
in the floor between Judy and I right now 🙂
I’ve done quite a few more picture poems
for volume 2 of Pearce’s Poetry Pictures.
If you haven’t already bought our book,  I
hope you will think about it.  It has over
150 picture poems in it.  I thank God for
this gift of which He gave me.  It always
amazes me how I can come up with so much
in a short time,  but then God works miracles
with anyone and everyone.  Though quite
often they go unnoticed because we have
tried to blend in with society too much.  Be
who that God intended you to be and use the
gifts He gave you.  Be who you are,  not who
somebody else is.  Even when working at
the same job as another,  your gifts might be
of a different shine.  Let the real you shine
and don’t let critics to hurt you.  There will
always be ones that do not like who we are
for one reason or another.  Now I believe it
is time for me to begin my little journey back
through all that I’ve written here to see if I
can find a good word or phrase that I can use
for the title of today’s brand new poem.  So
it’s away I go to that place of my recollection
that I always like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.
I believe I may have stumbled upon a decent
title just a few lines back.  Now let’s see if
I can write anything worth reading using it 🙂
Here goes!!!!!!

Unnoticed

A person,  a portrait,
a life that one leads
might go unnoticed
while they’re planting seeds.
Time is a backyard
to many the same
while ones go unnoticed
at what they attain.
Life is a journey
with footsteps of rhyme
as ones go unnoticed
that step out of time.
Don’t let your footsteps
to lose all their stride
within the unnoticed
that lives deep inside.
Let God to guide you
through timeless array
and don’t be unnoticed
as you smile your way.

There ya go hehehe.  I hope that poem made
at least a little bit of sense to you.  Also I hope
that my rambling did not bore ya to tears LOL.
If it did,  then maybe you needed a good cry 🙂
It’s 8 PM now.  I’ve stopped from time to time
to stretch my legs and see how Judy’s painting
is coming along.  It’s coming along quite nicely,
if I don’t say so myself.  It’s 7 F degrees now.
Yeppers,  it’s getting a bit chilly,  but nothing
like what we have dealt with LOL.  I haven’t
done much picture taking,  being that each time
that we’ve gone to town,  it has been dark or
getting that way being it starts getting  dark
around 3:30 PM 🙂  It’s now 3 F degrees LOL.
It dropped a few degrees while I was in the
bathroom a moment ago hehehe. So,  hmm,
have I forgotten to mention anything?  Nope,
nothing except to once again tell you about
our new book.  I hope you will check it out
and maybe even tell your friends about it.
It’s well worth the money.  Pearce’s Poetry
Pictures is available at Amazon.com,  Barns
and Noble as well as a few other book stores.
You might have to ask for it and if they do
not have it in stock,  they can order it for
you.  The link as at the end of the journal 🙂
OK so now it’s time for me to tell you what
I tell you almost every week and that is,  I
wrote some more poems and haiku.  Yep,
10 more poems but once again with a few
extras.  7 to be precise and 9 of the poems
are Christmas poems 🙂  I also wrote once
again 22 haiku for all of the haiku lovers
out there.  I hope you can find 1 or 2 of either
or both that you like.  Now,  I believe it’s time
for me to begin my search for that hardly
elusive off switch,  but not before I wish you
a most wonderful week.  Remember,  Jesus
loves you and we do too.  OK,  so where are
ya hiding this week ya ornery off switch? 🙂
I think I see you peeking out from behind
my crazy eyes that I bought for Halloween.
Yep,  I see ya. You made the left eye to
jerk about just enough for me to see it LOL.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S  A link to our brand new book
Pearce’s Poetry Pictures
is at the end of the journal along
with all of the others.  Enjoy 🙂
P.S. again.  The first poem is a poem
I wrote for my sister Peggy’s birthday.
It was December 6th 🙂

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10+7 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

My Big Sister

Time is remembered
within a photograph
me and my big sister
a moment the past.
We went our own ways
as older we grew,
but we are connected
in old and anew.
Lifestyles so different,
yet still of the same,
for we will both always
have our last name.
No matter with changes
and new names to be
I’ll love my big sister
till death comes for me.
You’re now a bit older
than you were yesterday,
but years don’t matter,
we’re both turning gray.
Remember the moments
we saw all the sights
riding with mom and dad
seeing Christmas lights.
Life has a funny way of
connecting each dot
and you my dear sister
I love you a lot
Those memories always
live deep within me,
for you my big sister
are part of history.

Winter At The Park

It is but a moment
a segment of time
a scene comes alive
in the eyes of mine.
Winter at the park
in a painted array
becomes a memory
of one certain day.
A time sat alone
as the breezes blew,
snowflakes falling
here thereunto.
Winter at the park
is a seasonal thing
as a few birds then
flutter and sing.
Christmas cardinals
winter at the park
sing to me sweetly
songs of a lark.

Peekaboo Snowman

Winter winds display
a snow driven while
with Peekaboo Snowman
and a little snow smile.
Peeking around to see
if a child needs a friend
to play with in the snow
many times and agin.
Peekaboo Snowman
is a Christmastime scene
found after snow falls
as a wintertime theme.
He peeks around corners
seeking ones to play
Christmastime adventures
on a cold snowy day.
Peekaboo Snowman
is a wonderful sight,
Christmastimes blessings
within snow of white.

Santa There

He stood so jolly
waiting true
to give a gift
to me and you.
Santa in the
snow of white
with our presents
such a sight.
The moment came
a photograph
one I took
of futures past.
For old Santa
does not age
as he’s always
Christmas page.
A story told
of children’s tales
timeless passion
Christmas dwells.
He’s a teacher
love and care
a Christmas scene
of Santa there.

He Came Knocking

We heard a knock
upon our door
the midst of day
whom we adore.
Old Santa Claus
in red and white
asked us out
to see the sight.
His reindeer stood
a sight to see
out in the snow
and harness free.
Old Santa asked
to rest a while
as we looked
and gave a smile.
He came inside
and looked around
to find a place
he could sit down.
He laid his bag
upon the floor
right inside
of our front door.
We spent a while
laughing and talking
the time we found
that he came knocking.

A Cold Winter Road

With every snowflake
that falls to the ground
a cold winter road
still leads us to town.
The pavement is icy
as temperatures freeze
displaying stages
of snow on the trees.
A cold winter road
is a seasonal sight
found as a flavor
of Christmas delight.
The sunshine is less
on the wintery days
leaving a night sky
and stars then to gaze.
Yet if it’s cloudy
on wintertime’s mind
there will still be
a wondrous design.
A cold winter road
will unleash such a view
paved within white
as snowflakes accrue.

Tomorrow’s Child

With us as the teachers
and them shadows cast
tomorrow’s child surely
can learn from our past.
Time is but a doorway
to open and view
and see all the lessons
times taught me and you.
Yet many people
will just look away
and not see the lessons
that time’s taught today.
Tomorrow’s child needs us
to help them to find
the best for our future
that is their design.
We are all unique
as our differences show
and children of today
need to learn where to go.
The windows of pathways
might seem a bit wild,
but lessons can help our
tomorrow’s child.

Three Owls

Found in a picture
a time does display
three owls peeking
out at the day.
Within a tree stump
that one owl designed
is home for the others
with family in mind.
Three owls hooting
singing their song
about all that’s right,
for nothing is wrong.
They have each other
as days come to pass
three owls in a stump
with future to cast.
They’re always gazing
at the ground below
watching and waiting
for time to bestow.
A moment for feeding
will come in a while
three owls together
with a unison smile.
The minutes tick on
while searching to see
a sight or a scene
that is given for free.
God gave them eyes
that are better at night
three owls together
a wonderful sight.

Across The Road

A snowy day
displays a view
across the road
of thereunto.
A scene of white
as snowflakes fall
landing on
the trees so tall.
A photograph
of timeless days
is found within
the winters ways.
Across the road
I see a sight
a Christmas scene
in winter’s light.
The fluffy snow
is found so pure
across the road
a scenic tour.
It’ll soon be
a photagraph
across the road
a moment’s past.

Morning’s Arrival

Life is a doorway
to open and close
with every moment
a time’s to disclose.
Morning’s arrival
is that of the sun
often with segments
not yet begun.
Seasons enlighten
the views that we see
as morning’s arrival
becomes history.
Nighttime releases
it’s own starry grasp
displaying portions
of its moonlight past.
Yet some awaiting
are found in denial
of what they have done
with mornings arrival.

Losing Perspective

Time is a problem
when it goes too fast
and what you’re wanting
is just from the past.
Losing perspective
on minutes you’ve got
could lose everything
and leave you with not.
Sometimes a moment
is all that we need
to tell ones of Jesus
while planting a seed.
Then as the turnstile
of ones come and go
the blessings you seeded
will blossom and grow.
Losing perspective
on who that you are
can be disillusioned
as a moonlight star.
Time is a blessing
that God gives each one
sometimes as seconds
up under the sun.
We have no knowledge
of God’s Holy plan
for our own perspective
is seen by a man.
Let yourself blossom
and become reflective
of all God’s tidings
not losing perspective.

A Vision Of White

A time so sublime
as white in my gaze
becomes as the sun’s
own wintery phase.
A vision of white
in a field full of splendor
displays many snowflakes
the sky did surrender.
Seeming as a painting
more whiter than pearls
a time so sublime
as winter unfurls.
A vision of white
as paintings from God
becomes as a page
that we should applaud.
The beauty is painted
each day for us to see
a vision of white
God gave you and me.
It is but a moment
of sunlight’s romance
a vision of white
with wintertime’s dance.

Olaf Dances

This creature of white
he dances around
on the cold frozen ice
with nary a sound.
Olaf is his name
this creature of white
and he loves wintertime,
it’s his season delight.
He dances and slides
on the cold ice of time
that the season displayed
with a wintery mind.
This whitish creature
likes to skate to and fro,
for he was a creature
ones made out of snow.
Olaf the snowman
was a wonderful sight
as he danced on the ice
each day and each night.
You one day may see him
with your winter glances,
for he is the snowman
named Olaf that dances.

The Fireplace

A moment painted
becomes as a scene
fire burning brightly
a fantastic dream.
The fireplace shows
a wonderful time
painted as artwork
with Christmas in mind.
The tree is as magic
it stands on the stage
while the fireplace
tells of the age,
Christmas incarnate
is found so divine
while the fireplace
shows its great design.

A Painted Scene

Painted colors
trees expose
a scene of white
the painter chose.
A painted scene
comes into view
brightest red
and whitish hue.
Shadowed trees
a distant scene
is a painted
Christmas theme.
Many moments
the painter found
are with snow
upon the ground.
For the colors,
painter’s mind
makes the moment
that we find.
A painted scene
of Christmas land
is living through
the painters hand.

December’s Stage

A view within
my sight of times
becomes a riddle
found with rhymes.
A simple story
words of white
December’s stage
of day and night.
Snow that’s billowed
here and there
becomes a portion
with a flair.
A gift from God
a special treat
December’s stage
with snow to eat.
Ice cream churned
from snow of white
becomes a taste
that ones delight.
December’s stage
that time bestows
becomes an essence
when it snows.

Remembering Milo

There was a time
and place we found
that brought to us
a sight and sound.
This dog so sweet
with love to give
came in our lives
at last to live.
He was so furry
and friendly too,
his name was Milo
in love we grew.
I can remember
the way he’d beg
and shake our hand
with his front leg.
He loved to play
with his little bro,
as they’d run
back to and fro.
Him and his brother
were ready to ride
when in the car
they jumped inside.
Yet he got sickly
as cancer set in
making dear Milo’s
life come to end.
He had a smile
filled full of love,
but now he’ gone
to Heaven above.
Remembering Milo
brings us to tears
as we remember
those great years.
Time is a doorway
to all that we know
sights and sounds
remembering Milo.

Haiku
for Dec 10,  2016

The lives that we live
are as shadows in the years
when we grow older.

Life’ simplicity
is a thought pattern away
from anything done.

Temporal balance
is that of a mere moment
that we remember.

Beyond perspective
finds many different views
from other people.

The seasonal rains
bring forth their own energy
to unleash on time.

A shelter is space
that we might feel safe within,
but may not be real.

A rose colored red
is bound by its many vines
connecting to life.

Chapters of a book
often have numbered segments
for some blank pages.

Various moments
become important to us
due to memories.

Moving too quickly
can leave you with some problems
you’re not ready for.

When chasing the wind
you might find it eluding
as it blows on passed.

Tomorrows turnstile
is a gate that might be locked,
so find the right key.

Drifting throughout time
without paying attention
could find you empty.

A glimmer of hope
comes from so many places
that we might not see.

A deep breath of air
can become a toxic breath
if it’s polluted.

Cold snowy winters
leave some footprints in the snow
from their traveled time.

Ones without belief
are often just empty shells
without any hope.

Painted mysteries
can become the art of life
that we imagined.

Sometimes more is less
when involving someone’s greed
for what they’re wanting.

A forest of thought
holds many trees to think with
that are possible.

The length of a chain
does not guaranty security
for it might be weak.

A bottomless pit
holds imaginary depth
that we know not of.

Your frosty friend Bill 🙂

ANIMAL’S GREETING

Hello my friends

It’s another day nearer Christmas and it’s
looking more like it every day when I peek
outside at the snow.  We’ve gotten about a
foot or so.  Our landlord just came by to see
how his roof repair held out and he noticed
that the add on of our mobile home roof is
still leaking.  He said he’ll try to get someone
to help him and get back over here as soon
as he can to get it fixed and then get started
pulling up the carpet and all.  Hopefully he
gets it done before the heavy snows begin.
LOL and many of you are saying,  you did
say you already got a foot of snow didn’t ya.
Believe me,  that is not the heavy snow LOL.
Our back storm door is frozen shut.  I busted
the door last night trying to get it opened and
when I got it opened I did a little repair work
and fixed the door,  but the storm door’s once
again frozen shut.  So we are having to wade
through the front addition to get out and let
the boys out to go potty.  Yep,  it’s a regular
nut house around here.  Right now it’s 22 F
at 4:42 PM.  Not too bad yet 🙂  It’s supposed
to be 8 F degrees by morning.  I’m going to
call and order 50 gallons of heating oil first
thing in the morning.  It’s amazing it hasn’t
ran out LOL.  I bought 50 gallons last month.
I’m sure it’s getting LOW.  So that should
cost around 150 dollar or so.  OH well,  we
don’t wanna freeze to death.  Of course we do
still have our little radiator heaters,  but they
do not do much on preventing our pipes from
freezing and also keeping our bathroom warm.
Yep,  wintertime is sneaking up our doorsteps.
Yet it’s still got a few weeks or so before it’s
truly officially here,  but in my book,  it’s here.
I still love the snow,  but don’t care much for
it when it builds up on the house and then in
the middle of the night slides off with a big
CRASH.  It startles us sometimes 🙂  I’ve
kind of gotten used to it,  but the boys still
think they have to bark at it to let us know
something happened hehehe.  Our grandson
wanted to come and spend the weekend with
us,  but this weekend didn’t seem like the best
time for him to visit.  I had yet to of dug out
our car and he would of been coming Friday.
That is when I had to dig the car out of the
snow so we could go into town to do a little
MUCH NEEDED grocery shopping.  Yep our
fridge was getting rather bare.  Plus I would
not of been able to turn up the heat so he
would not freeze in the living room being we
are maybe running on fumes right now LOL.
Yep,  I’m calling first thing in the morning to
get us some more heating oil.  Then if he
wants to come next weekend,  he can and I
won’t worry about him being too cold.  We’ve
got a lot of blankets,  but I just worry about
those things.  I can’t help it 🙂  We keep the
heat set on 60 F at all times.  It uses less
heating oil at that setting then we use our
little radiator heaters to keep us warm in
our PC room and bedroom being we have
the vents closed off in here.  So,  next topic.
Friday,  Judy,  I and the boys took a drive to
town as I said earlier and I did as I do often
and took pictures there and back.  Yeppers,
it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas,
everywhere we drive.  A lot of people have
their Christmas lights up,  but when we are
moving at about 50 or 60 miles an hour it is
rather difficult to get pictures of them LOL.
I might get some good pictures in the next
week or so,  but don’t hold your breath 🙂
OK,  you can hold your breath,  but it won’t
guaranty anything hehehe.  Judy and I are
hoping that Calvin finishes up with the roof
and all so that we can begin cleaning out
the building and maybe setting up one of
our Christmas trees out there.  I’ve ordered
us a wet/dry shop vac and it should be here
in a week or so.  I figure we’ll have other
needs for it.  Those things are quite useful.
Anyways,  after that is all said and done,
we want to see about having a doggy door
installed in the add on.  That way all we’ll
have to do is open the front door and let
them out to the add on and they can go
through the doggy door to go out to potty
and then come back in out of the weather
to wait for us to let them back in the house.
That’s our plans,  but first things first.  The
roof needs fixing and then the carpet needs
to be pulled.  There are many other things
needing done before we get to the doggy
door LOL.  We’re praying that it is all done
soon so that we can finally enjoy living in
our home.  We’ve been here 9 years now
and we love the area and all.  The boys can
go outside to play and potty and we don’t
worry about them being hit by a car.  We
are far from the road,  plus they both know
better than going to the road.  They’ll sit
and watch me walk out to the road to check
the mail.  We’ve got a couple of good boys.
Even though we have a few obstacles in our
path from time to time,  we know that God
is always watching over us.  He makes sure
that we have what we need to get by,  even
though we might think we need more.  Well
I think it’s time for me to begin my search
back through all that I’ve written here to
see if I can find a good word or phrase that
I can use for the title for today’s brand new
poem.  So it’s away I go to that little place
of my recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I found a
fairly decent title.  Now to see if I can do
anything with it 🙂   Here goes.

Don’t Hold Your Breath

Those times we dream of
or just fantasize
might be our wantings
we don’t realize.
There are some moments
that need not our time,
for they are a figment
that’s found in our mind.
Don’t hold your breath
for a time frame not true,
for the moment you want
might not be for you.
Many times wantings
are lost in the game
found in the portions
we wish to attain.
Keep within prayerful
the things that you need
and let God the Father
to then take the lead
and when your desires
are without access
remember your needs
and don’t hold your breath.

There ya go.  I hope you liked the poem and
maybe even understood it.  Also I hope that my
rambling didn’t put ya to sleep.  If so,  then you
might of needed a nap LOL.  I wonder if there
is something I have forgotten to mention to you.
Hmm,  nope,  can’t think of anything,  so I guess
it’s time for me to tell you what I tell you every
week and that is,  I wrote some more poems and
haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more poems with 2 of them
being sort of Christmassy.  I actually wrote 7
extra poems being I wrote some more picture
poems LOL,  so that ups the count to 17 poems.
I also once again wrote 22 haiku for all of the
haiku lovers out there.  I hope you can find 1
or 2 of either or both that you like.  So,  now I
believe it’s time to begin my search for that
hardly elusive off switch,  but surely not before
I wish you a wonderful weekend or what’s left
of it and a blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  Ok so,  where
are you hiding this week ya silly off switch?
LOL I think I spy with my 1 good eye,  a bit
of movement from behind my PC monitor 🙂
Yep,  I see ya you silly thing.  You’ve got a
habit of always peeking out to see if I can see
ya and that’s when I see you.  Try harder
next time.  Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S  A link to our brand new book
Pearce’s Poetry Pictures
is at the end of the journal along
with all of the others.  Enjoy 🙂

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10+7 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Heaven’s Display

Sometime in the future
your eyes will behold
scenes filled with passion
as the bible’s foretold.
This place will be scenic,
this place so divine.
This place will encompass
what is yours and mine.
There’ll be ones waiting
for us to walk through
the doorway to Heaven
that glorious view.
Time will be endless
as heartbeats unite
in the essence of Heaven
and God’s Holy Light.
The end is the beginning
for life continues on
as flesh becomes spirit
and all pain is gone.
This is the moment
that’s found on this day
time frames connected
with Heaven’s display.

Train Tracks Through Fall

Pathways,  track ways
time is but a scene
painted with a photo
bright orange and green.
Minutes tick onwards
as train tracks display
time within a porthole
a page from a day.
Autumns book of words
that are found to recall
scenes within scenes
train tracks through fall.
The moment is recorded
a great point and time,
a scene within a scene
that’s found so divine.
The time is a picture
that’s painted with style
time through a doorway
that’s found with a smile.
A time not forgotten
that we now recall
is found within a picture,
train tracks through fall.

The Christmas Lamppost

This post full of color
with a candle aglow
sits within a painting
and a small bit of snow.
It’s oh so glorious
with its flickering light
the Christmas lamppost
that’s deep in the night.
The candle it shimmers
and glimmers its scene
as it shows colors
with garland of green.
Some flowers around it
that flavor the view
the Christmas lamppost
a wonderful hue.
An artist discerned it
as a great point in time
to be painted with love
adorned with a rhyme.
The Christmas lamppost
is alive in a way
painted with the colors
of a wonderful day.

Owl So Wise

Little owl
before my eyes
do you question
how’s and why’s?
Do you see the
moments flair
found within
a breath of air?
Owl so wise
of painted time
do you seek
your own design?
Are the questions
that you ask
just a painted
minutes task?
With each minute
of the day
do you wonder,
do you pray.
Can you see now
time’s disguise
in the moments
owl so wise?

A Summer’s Child

As time displays
a summer’s scene
the day is met
within a dream.
A summer’s child
with heart of gold
displays the light
of stories told.
Two small dogs
will romp and play
as the minutes
tick away.
A summer’s child
displays her view
with everything
that she will do.
She shows a smile
with every glance
as the doggies
romp and prance.
She loves those dogs
as real true friends
a summer’s child
in seasons winds.

Standing In The Rain

A scene with a little girl
in the rain at night
is painted in a picture
with a lamppost light.
Standing in the rain
with her raincoat on
she holds her umbrella
till raindrops are gone.
The picture is magic
as she’s plainly seen
standing in the rain
as a topical theme.
It seems as a story
a writer should tell
standing in the rain
the heart does compel.
Peace is abundant
she does not complain
looking at the lamppost
standing in the rain.

A Ship At Sail

Through the waters
ocean blue
a ship at sail
is in my view.
A scenic time
within the day
a ship at sail
is on its way.
Still as minutes
chart their course
a ship at sail
is oceans force.
Through the waters
stage is set
a ship at sail
I can’t forget.
It’s now pictures
oceans waves
that I remember
distant days.
Time befuddles
how I view
a ship at sail
an ocean blue.

Scenic Clouds

Through my view
of distant days
my mind recalls
a wondrous gaze.
Some scenic clouds
of mornings past
are now but just
a shadows cast.
A scenic view
from long ago
of clouds designs
that I love so.
Then’s remembered
deep inside
those scenic clouds
my mind did ride.
A moment’s time
I flew away
with scenic clouds
of day to day.
A painted sky
or so it seemed
was scenic clouds
I thought I dreamed
Yet the gaze
of long ago
brought me to
a wondrous show.
Magical minutes
that time designed
scenic clouds
a moments mind.

Summers At The Beach

Walking on the beach of time
taking pictures here and there
I find myself envisioning
the sights, God’s love and care.
People holding one another
amidst the summers days
as some others smile real big
within the oceans waves.
A dog just sits and looks at me
to seem with just one wish
to run and play in ocean waves
and maybe catch a fish.
The scene I will remember
as a wondrous point of view.
A place my wife and I would go
to seek a life brand new.
We often find those memories
as now a certain quest
to one day return back to then
for it was the very best.
Time is now a oceans dream
to days far out of reach,
wondrous times of long ago
summers at the beach.

A Christmas Cardinal

With winter’s snow
comes sights to see
those wondrous things
God’s given free.
Sights are flavored
nighttime scenes
a Christmas cardinal
the season brings.
A snowy painting
comes in view
a Christmas tree
seen thereunto.
A Christmas cardinal
is perched upon
a lamppost singing
its great song.
The minutes pass
as life displays
a Christmas cardinal
Christmas days.

Lighthouse Of Eve

A scenic cruise
finds such a sight,
a scene within
the edge of night.
The sun is dipping
out of view
leaving us
a wondrous hue.
Yellow and orange
combined to leave
the sight to find
lighthouse of eve.
We watch the scene
turn into gold
as the minutes
then unfold.
The ship we’re on
is headed back
leaving sights
to turn to black.
But the darkness
will not grieve
with the glimmer
lighthouse of eve.

Wednesday’s Journal

Time’s surmounting
days of week
some with patterns
many seek
Monday’s threshold
opens wide
letting Tuesday
come inside.
Wednesday’s journal
then becomes
middle week
of beating drums.
Then is Thursday
coming fast
leaving many
in the past.
Yet by Friday
ones are glad
Wednesday’s journal
found its fad.
Counting minutes
hump day scenes
Wednesday’s journal
becomes dreams.

Through The Waves

A sailboat glides
on through the waves
a sailing vessel
in its ways.
The wind is strong
and carries on
the sailboats route
from dusk to dawn.
Each wave is seen
as a rocking force
a moment’s time
within its course.
Through the waves
the vessel sails
while people watch
and tell the tales.
The scene’s alive
with moments time
the sailboat sails
with peaceful mind.
The rudders aim
is through the waves
while seeking for
the distant days.

An Autumn Path

When seasons show
their place in time
they can become
an awesome rhyme.
A poem or song
to which ones sing,
a time becomes
what seasons bring.
An autumn path
of painted style
can then become
a moments mile.
A stroke of paint
of times gone by
can then design
a bird to fly.
Even a squirrel
within a tree
an autumn path
can surely be.
So use your mind
to see contrast
the colors of
an autumn path.

A Seaside Ride

One day was seen
a timeless frame,
a moment found
with much to gain.
Horses in stride,
a seaside view
while we looked on
to the sea of blue.
This was a day,
a magical time,
a seaside ride
for us to find.
Snapping pictures
making memories,
this scene we saw
in evenings breeze.
A magical scene
two hearts in stride
was a day long ago
a seaside ride.

The Truck Rolled On

A snowy winter’s scene
is a time frame of white
found as a truck rolls
on the road out of sight.
Big wheels a churning
on a white snowy road
as the truck rolled on
with its real heavy load.
A moment of blissful
on the old road of snow
becomes as a memoir
from where it will go.
Time is but an instant
as snowflakes fall down
as the truck rolled on
to a faraway town.
A snowy winter’s scene
is a time that I recall
when the truck rolled on
and snowflakes would fall.

Doggy Eyes

When walking in the snow
I felt some doggy eyes
watching me and waiting
to give me a surprise.
They both love to watch me
as I head out to the road
to see if we got mail
and then back to our abode.
The journey is real sluggish
while I’m walking in the snow,
but they’re waiting patiently
to see where else I’ll go.
If I say come on boys
they’ll both be on their way
to follow me wherever
I seem to go that day.
But they both know better
than to follow to the road,
for we’ve trained them truly
to wait at our abode.
Yes, we have some good boys
which comes to no surprise
for they’re always waiting
with watchful doggy eyes.

Haiku
for Dec 3,  2016

Within a moment
holds a life of perspectives
viewed differently.

Change is a motion,
for without any motion
it is just a thought.

A crowded doorway
will hinder the needed path,
so allow for time.

Wintertime’s snowflakes
bring forth a painting of life
that soon comes to life.

Even one that’s wise
will have much folly in life,
for no one’s immune.

Life in a bubble
will prevent you from learning
true lessons of life.

A wanted pathway
that does not belong with you,
might lead to trouble.

The journey of a tree
is that of a mere seedling
with hope to grow tall.

A harbor of ships
holds a passion for sailing
within memories.

Standing in a boat
that is too small to stand in
might cause it to flip.

When watching snowflakes
the moments might seem to pause
as your gaze is caught.

A variety
of a portion of people
create ideas.

Our perceived notions
can often be ridiculed
by other beliefs.

Fondness of colors
creates many things we like,
due to the colors.

Drastic emotions
often acts like dynamite
with a real short fuse.

Life in the fast lane
will one day hit a speed bump
that might be painful.

Beyond the starlight
holds a place of many dreams
that’s reality.

A flickering bulb
exposes its elements
as it lights a room.

Fireflies of night
will light their own excursions
and then hide away.

Living in the past
will prevent you from growing
and finding better.

A fish in a stream
has a path of which to swim
or to become caught.

Snowmen of winter
need someone to create them
so they can exist.
