ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been a nice week these passed few days.
Judy and I are doing well.  It snowed a bit
last week and I got the chance to use our new
snow blower.  It works great.  It mows right
through the snow without any trouble at all.
I did our driveway in less than 8 minutes 🙂
The smaller snow blower would of taken me
an hour or more,  on top of wearing me out.
Yeppers,  I am very happy and satisfied with
our new snow blower.  I’ll still use our others
as a back up on days there’s not that much and
I don’t feel up to hauling the big one outside.
So,  what else has gone on around this place?
Well,  we’ve been enjoying the warmer days
that have been coming,  but of course they
tend to bounce around quite a bit hehehehe.
Yeppers,  we even had one night last week
that got down to -30 degrees.  For those of
you that do not know what that is,  it’s 30 F
below zero LOL.  Yep,  we had to let the hot
water dribble all night to keep it from freezing.
LOL and for those of you that are unaware of
the freezing habits of water,  hot water will
freeze long before cold water will.  It all has to
do with the evaporation such as warm water
evaporates rapidly since this is an endothermic
or better known as a chemical reaction process,
it cools the water quickly making it to freeze
more quickly.  So yes we have to keep our hot
water dribbling on nights that the temperature
or the wind chill drops way below zero.  It’s an
interesting life living up here in New Limerick
Maine.  Our little town consist of around 500
people :).  Yep,  it’s small,  but Houlton is just
8 miles away and it has all that we need to get
by.  They even have a library and just the other
day I donated a couple of my books to it and
they are wanting to set up a date for me to do
a book signing and possibly a reading.  Who’d
of thought it,  Me being known as a poet LOL.
I have still yet to of published my recent poems
or poetry pictures,  but I will 🙂  I’ve already
begun work on book 14 LOL.  I’ve gotten my
books 11 and 12 set to upload and all.  I still
need to convert book 13.  Anyways,  I have 10
books ready for ones to buy 🙂  LOL it’s hard
to believe that I have written and created over
2080 poetry pictures 🙂  but I have.  It seems
that I’ve found something that I’m good at 🙂
I haven’t done any drumming for a while.
I might one day soon carry my conga drums
outside and do a few videos though.  We were
going to give the boys a haircut today,  but we
decided to wait until tomorrow (Monday) being
I had to do this (write my journal).  The boys
don’t shed,  so their hair just gets longer and
longer until we trim it or in the beginning of
spring,  give them a short haircut that’s almost
a shave.  Till then,  they need some hair to keep
them warm,  being they’ve gotta go outside to
potty 🙂 and plus they like to play outside in the
snow.  Though I do believe Benny loves it more
than Rocky hehehe.  Rocky is most times ready
to come in after he’s gone potty,  but we’ve got
to call for Benny to get him to come inside LOL.
Right now at 5 PM it’s 41 degrees,  which I might
add is warm for up here at this time of the year.
The low for tonight/tomorrow morning is 16 F
which is still quite warm for up here.  It looks
as though we might get some more snow this
coming Thursday.  I’m ready for it hehehehehe.
God is still watching over us and we’ve still got
many angels walking with us day by day that
guide us and protect us.  We feel blessed to of
found one another.  God most surely put Judy
and I together with her living in Maine and me
living in Texas.  He connected the dots and the
picture was formed.  Although with each day
that passes the picture is always changing to
become another sight to see.  Judy and I have
our fair share of troubles,  but we let love pull
us through.  Thank You God for always being
there when we need You and for never giving
up on us when we fall.  AMEN.  Now I believe
it’s time for me to be reading back on all that
I’ve written here to see if I can find me a good
word or phrase that I can use for the title for
today’s brand new poem.  So it’s away I go to
that place of my recollection that I always like
to call RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I may
have found a decent title just a few lines back
and now after checking,  I see that it has not
been used yet,  so used it shall be.  Here goes…

Our Fair Share

Times of troubles
come and go
life surrounds us
with its flow.
Minutes tick on
giving fame
life to moments
times attain.
Bringing into view
a scene to see
one that becomes
our history.
Our fair share
of seasons toll
times we find
a troubled flow.
God gives strength
within a prayer
when we struggle
our fair share.

Well there ya go.  I hope you liked the poem
and maybe even my rambling.  Yes I do tend
to ramble, don’t I LOL.  I guess I’ve told you
all that there is to tell you other than what I
tell you almost every week and that is,  I wrote
some more poems and haiku.  Yep,  10 more
poems with one being sort of Christmassy.  I
also wrote 22 more haiku for all of the haiku
lovers out there.  I hope you can find 1 or 2
of either or both that you like.  Now I believe
it’s time for me to begin my search for that
hardly elusive off switch,  but not before I wish
you a truly blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  Now,  where
can that ornery off switch be hiding this time?
Looking around the room for previous hiding
spots LOL.  Hmm,  I don’t see y,,,,  Hey wait
a minute,  my camera cards don’t dance LOL.
Hehehe my SD card’s doing the Texas 2 step 🙂
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky

Time is Passing

Looking forward
looking back
time is passing
things to pack.
Dreams of things
the passing days
become seasons
wondrous ways.
Times of sunshine
become sights
time is passing
wrongs and rights.
Seasons might be
showing signs
white of winter
a mind’s designs.
Passing moments
might just weave
a thread of light
our eyes perceive.
Becoming echoes
times conclude
showing ventures
thoughts allude.
So many seasons
shine with song
sung of evening
and of dawn.
We might see the
skies of blue
time is passing
from thereunto.

Wintery Gift

Thresholds of beauty
displayed in details
as winter awakens
the season inhales.
Breathing in stories
breathing in times
as a wintery gift
a moment defines.
Life is as snowflakes
a seasonal kiss
a time that becomes
as a Christmas list.
Some see snowflakes
as painstaking cold
while many others
see joy to behold.
Becoming a memory
a time to begin
as a wintery gift
in wintertime’s wind.
Showering seconds
with minutes defined
scented as blessings
an awesome design.
Look for the scenery
beyond the sights
and then breathe in
the days and nights.
Find then a journey
a time to uplift
a heavenly blessing
of a wintery gift.

Views Bestowed

Ageless roadways
become true sights
as wheels roll on
days and nights.
Views become as
someone’s dreams
seeming painted
wondrous scenes.
Simple moments
become a glance
views bestowed as
song and dance.
A moment treads
as wheels desires
rolling onwards
thoughts as tires.
Carrying memoirs
written on a road
these are moments
views bestowed.

Silent Beauty

Driving down a road
of heartbeat’s array
time begins showing
a wonderful way.
Maybe of a moment
a timeless detail
found in the silence
as a scenic exhale.
Becoming memories
of a time and place
bewildering beauty
a moment’s embrace.
Textured of styles
of a timeless cuisine
found as so silent
it seems as a dream.
Tasted with our eyes
each beat of a heart
seasons so silently
are there to impart.
Becoming as stages
of ages to define
with beauty so silent
it forms in the mind.
Becoming a blessing
of a passing view
found as a moment
to carry with you.
A time to remember
so wondrous to see
that which is known
as silent beauty.

Beneath The Snow

There may be trails
there may be paths
with so many scenes
connecting the past.
A sight well hidden
of another fine day
maybe a train track
of any which way.
You might perceive
a so distant view
that you remember
of a whitish hue.
It might even seem
as wintertime style
as a snowy blanket
a time with a smile.
There might be rails
of a scenic quest
beneath the snow
going east and west.
It could be a time
and place you recall
a time so large
of a mindset install.
Synched with a day
of a burning ember
maybe much later
but seem December.
It might be a photo
of a time long ago
of tracks well hidden
beneath the snow.

Behold A Breath

Search your heart
and find within
the sights of life
that did begin.
The scented times
that life displayed
a breath to breathe
and time to wade.
Look for moments
of awesome designs
that God has given
as magical times.
Passing adventures
that came to rest
within a picture
of a photo quest.
Enjoy the scenery
as a breath of air
and then let it out
as a day’s fanfare.
Let it to become
as a work of art
a breath that beats
as a human heart.
Find the blessings
the seasons become
the times of life as
second to none.
Allow your vision
to look and attest
the sights of times
behold a breath.

Seconds Instilled

Minutes prosper
gaining speed
times we find
of moments seed.
Planted moments
seconds devour
becoming scenes
of many an hour.
Counted lifetimes
scenic events
seconds instilled
with many intents.
Time is a journal
an ocean of seas
showing bestowing
so many degrees.
Becoming scents
so often revealed
blessings united
seconds instilled.

Surrounded By Trees

Many find problems
as passing debris
seasons of doorways
moments of seas.
Flowing as artwork
a timeless cuisine
seeming surrounded
caught in a dream.
They might be times
that life hides away
as sights and sounds
of a heart’s array.
Beating as a drum
that unleashes sight
of photo real styles
within the sunlight.
Seasoned with flavor
of our scenic desires
maybe surrounded
with what acquires.
Look for the beauty
within all you see
and you might find
a brand new reality.
One that of blessings
one that compiles
surrounded by trees
of so many styles.
So often our mindset
will lose its control
to journey as worry
that takes its toll.
Look for the artwork
that moments display
as signs of the times
of a wondrous array.
Find you a vision
of heaven’s degrees
maybe in moments
surrounded by trees.

Pictures Develop

Now might enlighten
a time you recall
as with a loved one
a time before fall.
Moments of summer
a shadow’s array
as pictures develop
of a so distant day.
Seen now as artwork
time starts to shine
as an opened letter
to a distant design.
You might see life
of a different view
one that of stages
a green summer hue.
Deep within pictures
there might exist
points of perspective
so heavenly kissed.
For as the seasonal
times moved along
life opened doors
to a radio’s song.
Tunes you remember
that display a smile
shadows that cast
of a seasonal style.
They might become
as a time to envelop
your heart for a time
as pictures develop.

Searching Trails

Inside our mind
a quest begins
a time to find
journey’s winds.
Often as paths
to then or there
searching trails
to anywhere.
Minds might see
an end results
a time so sweet
our mind exults.
Happy and free
so many dreams
textured styles
a life’s cuisines.
Within our eyes
we might find
a certain place
a certain time.
It might exist
as just a place
a moment’s time
a smiling face.
A minute’s mind
may tick away
to then discern
of a winter’s day.
Creating phases
times unmask
searching trails
to go real fast.
Becoming scenes
to then perceive
times that others
might conceive.
Such as seasons
of many details
on a snowmobile
searching trails.

Haiku
for Feb 22,  2020

Misery gives viewpoints
that many might misconceive
by not understanding.

Looking for chances
within a storm full of rain
might expose windows.

Time begins ticking
as our clock of life moves on
leaving our footsteps.

The look on your face
can expose what that is true
even if you lie.

Changing direction
does not always fix mistakes,
for it might create.

A winter snowstorm
can create many blessings
to later be seen.

Within a river
there are many decisions
in the waters mind.

Each day brings patterns
to choose which one to follow
or to dispose of.

Life is a doorway
that swings in times directions
to open or close.

Inside the minds eye
holds perceptions of others
and what you believe.

In a field of time
there might unleash a story
written without words.

Looking through windows
you might see some emotions
that you misconceive.

Found in reflections
are doorways to who we are
that only we see.

Conclusions of life
can often be imagined
and not very true.

Thriving in a breath
of which that is not your own
can come back to haunt.

Cherished memories
can become hindrance of life
if you hold too tight.

Arriving later
and not when you are scheduled
can make you jobless.

Flipping through a book
searching for a worthy read
can leave you empty.

Shadows within us
are exposed within the light
showing who we are.

Beneath our worry
holds many things that happened
that made us that way.

An ocean of time
can become as a ripple
that forms our lifestyle.

Challenging a dream
to not become a nightmare
can become deadly.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

Well,  I am back.  I took a little time off
a week ago after me ending up in the old
hospital Thursday before last.  Yep,  I did
a little too much snow blowing and my old
body bickered about it.  Judy thought that
I had a seizure or a stroke,  but according
to most of the test they ran,  it looks like I
may of just gotten dehydrated on top of me
doing too much.  Yep,  I used our battery
powered snow blower and cleared 200 feet
of driveway and that is something I will not
ever do again.  But then we have now a new
larger snow blower that we bought a week
ago that came Valentines day.  I just today
went out on the porch and assembled it and
got it ready for the next snowing.  It’s heavy
and unlike my other snow blower which is
40 volts,  it is 80 volts.  It is self propelled
and will do 2 foot wide and up to 13 inches
deep of snow.  Where as the old one would
only do 18 inches wide and 8 inches  deep
which made me have to do multiple passes
to clear the deep snow,  Anyways,  I love
it and I’m anxious to use it.  According
to my weather program it looks like we
might get a little snow Tuesday 🙂  The
one thing that is bad about this new snow
blower is that it weighs 120 pounds where
as the other one weighs about 40 pounds.
So it will be a workout getting it out of
the porch,  but when it’s there,  it should
do good work of the snow 🙂  The info on
it says it will throw the snow up to 30 feet
away.  Well,  that’s enough about our new
snow blower LOL.  Now onto yet another
topic.  Judy and I went to Presque Isle
for Valentine’s Day and got chicken and
tacos at the KFC/Tacobell. I of course
took pictures there and back while she
drove.  I also the day before Valentine’s
day wrote Judy a Valentine’s poem and
made it into a poetry picture.  We had a
great day.  Now back on my visit to the
hospital the week before.  I was in the
hospital from Thursday to Saturday and
I was ready to freaking come home.  I
HATE HOSPITAL FOOD.  Especially
when they think I have a heart problem
and put me on a NO SODIUM DIET…
Of course after the test and all they found
that my heart was in good shape,  so the
food sucked for no reason LOL.  Oh well,
life goes on.  Thursday night when Judy
was going home after taking me to the
hospital she had a little accident and slid
in the a bridge railing.  She’s OK 🙂  The
car lost a hubcap.  That was replaceable.
I have already bought a new one and
put it on the car.  It’s exactly the same
as the others so one could never tell 🙂
I wrote a few poems while I was in the
hospital.  I was getting bored and just
happened to mention that I’m a poet
and one of the nurses said,  “would
you like me to bring you some paper
and a pen”.  I said sure.  I gave her the
first poem I wrote and then wrote two
more.  LOL she asked me to sign the
poem so I did.  Anyways,  I made a few
friends while I was there,  but I was
good and ready to come home.  That
hospital bed was killing me.  LOL she
said it was one of the newer ones.  It
was way to short for me.  My feet were
always on the railing at the end of it
and that hurt,  so I would hang my feet
off of the side of the bed which I might
add was not comfortable at all.  LOL
the nurse asked me if I wanted to watch
TV,  and I looked around seeing no TV,
she swung the TINY little 10 inch TV
around LOL.  I did not have my glasses
so watching it was rather difficult.  I had
to have it right up to my face to see it
and even that was blurry LOL.  For the
most part the nurses treated me well.
Judy and I ran into one of my nurses
at the Walmart pharmacy the other day.
I had a follow up doctors appointment
Valentine’s Day and after that Judy and
I drove up north for Chicken and Tacos.
Then on our return trip home we stopped
off to pick up my new blood pressure
pills and ran into Nurse Tennille.  It turns
out that when Judy was in the hospital
a while back,  Tennille was her nurse too.
What a small world LOL.  I do have
high blood pressure and have been on
blood pressure meds since December,
but the doc changed the prescription
to the very same thing that Judy takes 🙂
So,  that’s about all I can think of at
the moment.  God has been good to us.
He’s still watching over us.  Although
he does allow us to do ignorant things
if we choose to like snow blow a 200
foot driveway with a not so big battery
operated snow blower.  That ain’t gonna
happen again 🙂  Thanks be it to God I
am still alive and kicking.  Thank You
God for all that You do for us and all
that You will most surely do.  Now,  I
believe it’s time for me to be reading back
on all that I’ve written here to see if I can
find a good word or phrase that I can use
for the title for today’s brand new poem.
So,  it’s away I go to that lil place of my
recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I may
have found a decent title just a few lines
back in my rambling and it seems that
after checking I have not used it,  so
used it shall be.  Here goes…

Ignorant Things

Times we struggle
doing our chores
might be misleading
to land on the floors.
The times we decide
to do what we do
we might discover
a different view.
A view that of life
that we need find
a place to enlighten
a better design.
So many people
will struggle along
striving for perfect
while it is all wrong.
Those ignorant things
that come to light
become as teachers
of wrong and right.
Seasons of grandeur
will blossom scenes
the wants and wishes
of ignorant things.

Well,  there ya go.  I hope you liked the
poem and maybe even enjoyed all of my
rambling 🙂  I know,  you’d think that I
would have more to say being I missed
last Sunday,  but this is a compilation of
it all.  I figure that there’s a lot that you
might not care to hear about hahahaha.
We’re still making ends meet or at least
introducing them to one another LOL.
I can’t think of anything else to tell you
other than what I tell you ALMOST
every week and that is,  I wrote some
more poems and haiku.  Yeppers,  I
wrote 10 more poems,  many of them
from the passed week 🙂 being I didn’t
want to waste them LOL.  I also wrote
22 more haiku.  I hope you can find 1
or 2 of either or both that you like….
Now,  I believe it’s time for me to begin
my search for that hardly elusive off
switch,  but not before I wish you all
a blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  So OK
now,  that off switch has had plenty of
time to find a decent hiding place LOL.
Where on earth could that ornery thing
be hiding?  Hmm,  You have gotta be
kidding.  You mean you had an extra
week to find a hiding spot and you
decide to hide behind all of my meds.
How lazy can ya get.  LOL I know,
pretty lazy huh 🙂 Try harder next week.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Dreamer’s Fantasy

Lifetimes of pictures
taken and displayed
can become memories
each moment’s inlaid.
Found as a dreamer
so many will discover
fantasies of lifetimes
that seem as a lover.
Created as emotions
poured out like rain
found to pitter patter
on eyes windowpane.
Dreamers can thrive
in an ocean of lies,
for all their fantasies
are as the blue skies.
Hillsides of blessings
painted in their mind
as they see the sights
a wonderful design.
A fantasy’s illusions
becomes as a door
opening real widely
with life to explore.
Created out of hope
that dreams can make
a dreamer dreams on
for more to partake.
For within their mind
might be pure ecstasy
found within the eyes
of a dreamer’s fantasy.

Time Comes Our Way

We might not notice
a scene so divine
that’s of a phase
within wintertime.
We might even miss
a seasonal view
scented as a day
with a sky of blue.
The minutes tick on
as rhythms unite
becoming a scene
a winter of white.
Life begins pathways
of a timeless road
carrying footprints
to someone’s abode.
Maybe of a carriage
and a horse to pull
time comes our way
lifetimes as fuel.

Life of Rails

Winters become as
a prismatic dream
white snow becoming
as a magical scene.
Created from water
that’s frozen in time
turned into flakes
of an awesome design.
Time then unleashes
each wondrous desire
maybe on train tracks
with much to aspire.
Creating a pathway
a wintertime quest
with a life of rails
snow came to rest.
Frozen within time
the rails might display
a season with reason
and a magical way.
Awaiting for a train
to come down the path
guiding its journey
as it goes on past.
Trudging on down
as time then unveils
a journey that’s written
as a life of rails.

Wintertime Comes

Cold winds blowing
a seasonal kiss
a time that we find
to then reminisce.
Making the sounds
of ocean waves
wintertime comes
with many displays.
Seasons snowflakes
becoming a sight
floating gracefully
pigments of white.
Glistening moments
times to transcend
wintertime comes
blowing in the wind.
Giving its greetings
to me and to you
flavored with times
of a wonderful view.
Found as the echoes
of a so distant time
maybe of a place
with a scenic design.
Hold the sight tight
as a dream to gaze
that of a blessing
a moment a phase.
Sync it with a beat
as a drummer drums
playing the rhythms
wintertime comes.

Scenic Premise

Life’s as a venture
a moment in time
scenes within scenes
a nickel or dime.
Time begins flowing
as an ocean’s view
presenting itself
as waters of blue.
Scenes come to life
as epic adventures
moments displaying
each second enters.
Trials of a ripple
as a oceanic smile
a phase displaying
a little bit of style.
The blue sky above
may seem to shroud
filled with essence
of a passing cloud.
Within the aromas
of an ocean breeze
there’s the existence
a moment of ease.
It may be a dream
or merely an illusion
a time remembered
that’s just confusion.
Yet it can become
a sight for sore eyes
found in memories
as a scenic premise.

Journey Home

Moving in the mind
beginning a quest
life is so often
an ongoing test.
Much of it’s moments
lessons and more
that you can’t buy
from any old store.
The lessons are bought
with time after time
found as a journey
that lives in the mind.
Purchased with doorways
roadways of paths
that often leave us
a shadow to cast.
Leaving only echoes
of which we did roam
while we concluded
our journey home.

Snowflakes Fall

Wintertime’s essence
displays as rhymes
falling so gracefully
within our minds.
Seeming as breath ways
blown by a breeze
to land upon the ground
and in the tall trees.
Look to the sky
and unleash your mind
watching snowflakes fall
in a wondrous design.
Open up your heart
and let them fall in
the stages of pages
blowing in the wind
Time is but a mystery
brought with a call
the sounds of water
as the snowflakes fall.

Driving Emotions

Looking bestowing on
destinies ventures
scenes upon doorways
each moment endures.
Found as our journeys
discerned day to day
as driving emotions
in any which way.
Some are as pathways
almost like roads
as seasons of emotions
with timeless abodes.
Homes of a rhythm
and homes of a path
maybe as snowflakes
as shadows we cast.
Written as a journal
the decisions we choose
our driving emotions
are as win or to lose.
Yet misconceptions
might open a door
leaving us face down
lying on the floor.
Time has a way of
displaying the truth
things we should of
learned from our youth.
Such as repercussions
from our commotions,
we should each learn
from driving emotions.

Compiling Views

Snow covered sights
become so alive
when winter displays
sights for our eyes.
Catapulting essence
of white snowflakes
into every scene
each time partakes.
Scented of winter
an ocean of white
with compiling views
as a magical sight.
Scenes illuminating
a wonderful glow
becoming a breath
of fresh fallen snow.
Displaying a season
for time to infuse
this is a dreamworld
of compiling views.

Time in a Bubble

Finding a likeness
one that is true
begins with prayer
for one like you.
Maybe a heartbeat
shining the same
time in a bubble
lifestyles attain.
Finding the person
of moments array
shining brightly
removing the gray.
I’ve found the one
a gift from God
a true completion
that I do applaud.
Heavenly blessings
shined so free
time in a bubble
that opened for me.
Pouring blessings
as time comes alive
essence of beauty
two hearts thrive.
Creating a pathway
a journey in time
scented of passion
found as a rhyme.
Life begins moving
displaying scenes
time in a bubble
Valentines dreams.

Haiku
for Feb 15,  2020

Life is a journey
with moments found in motion
following a path.

Time continues on
even after we have died,
but it changes views.

Breathing in a breath
of a moment’s perception
can create horrors.

Trials of a flower
are found when seeking sunshine
on a cloudy day.

Emotions of weeds
might imitate some flowers
as dandelions.

Creating a moment
in a field full of turnstiles
you might find a path.

Chances of a dream
live deep within our mindsets
and how we believe.

Triggering problems
doing what you knew was wrong
can create lessons.

Living in worry
and always in fear of life
can become your death.

Essence of a rose
can become as a shadow
found in remembrance.

Finding ones footing
might display a few missteps
acquiring knowledge.

Stars in a night sky
are still there in the daytime,
but not visible.

Sheltered emotions
can turn into dynamite
waiting to explode.

The hands of many
can create many blessings
or many problems.

Within clouds of rain
there may be bits of Heaven
found as a rainbow.

Always walking straight
you might miss many journeys
that have much beauty.

When dragging your feet
you might create drudgeries
that swallow your pride.

Leave the past alone,
but use the lessons you learned
to make life better.

In search of chances,
don’t step out without praying,
for troubles await.

The lines on a face
can often show ones worries
or their many smiles

Leaves on autumn’s trees
display an early welcome
to winter’s snowflakes.

Today gives chances
that we may or may not see
that we can grow from.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been another weird week to pass us by
as the weather continues it’s up and down
stride.  Right now it’s 25 F degrees and the
rest of the week’s high’s supposed to be in
20’s and 30’s and we’re expecting snow all
throughout the week.  Anyways that’s our
winter.  Yep,  warmer than normal.  So what
else is going on up here?  It’s been another
week of the same old stuff.  I’m actually
looking forward to the snow,  so that I can
go out and play with the boys in it and take
a few pictures.  I’m evidently the only one
up here there loves the snow.  I believe it
could be due to me be raised in Texas and
not seeing that much snow.  It makes me
feel like a kid and the snow is so magical
as it creates masterpieces out of landscape
and anything else it lands upon.  The days
are slowly but surely getting longer.  Judy
and I went to Walmart today to do a little
shopping being we got paid Saturday.  We
didn’t have much to shop with before LOL.
We’re doing OK.  I’ve been getting a little
claustrophobic due to having nowhere to
go or anybody, friends or family to visit,
but I guess I’ll survive.  Judy and I have
plans on doing a little miniature golf this
year.  I found a place near where we live
that we can go to play.  Judy’s said she’s
never played miniature golf.  I’ve played
it a few times,  but I am no expert LOL.
Nope,  but it’s not about being good at
it.  It’s about having fun.  If we like it,
we might go again sometime :),  maybe
even a few more times.  We found out
today that one of our real good friends
that is nearly family is very sick from
what the doctors think was a spider bite.
They are telling all that she might not
live and to visit her now if you are able.
At the moment the doctors aren’t sure
of what bit her,  but with speculation
it could of been a spider that bit her
on her neck.  Please send Marissa your
prayers.  She’s only in her late 30’s we
are not for sure at the moment.  She’s
way down at the Portland Hospital
that’s about 250 miles south of us.  It
is so sad.  I am still praying for her a
speedy and full recovery,  but in the
doctors views they don’t think she will
live.  God has been good to Judy and I.
We do have our fair share of problems,
for the most part,  we survive.  Thank
You God for always watching over us
and sending your many angels to help
us when we’re in need.  Now I believe
it’s time for me to begin my search back
through all that I’ve written here to see
if I can find a good word or phrase that
I can use for the title for today’s brand
new poem,  so it’s away I go,  to that
place of my recollection that I always
like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.
I believe I may of stumbled on a good
title a little less than halfway back in
my rambling 🙂 and now after checking
I see that it has not been used yet,  so
used it shall be.  Here goes…

Telling All

Words and phrases
our minds perceive
so often are only
as a web we weave.
Creating stories
from words ones say
might be only lies
from a dismal day.
Many are journeys
that words may tell
times within minds
of a sickly spell.
Often what’s heard
is but only the pain
while not telling all
and not to explain.
Don’t just assume
that what ones say
is really the truth
within a weary way.
Listen to moments
that ones may show,
but don’t assume it’s
all you need to know.
For so many times
a person may fall
leaving perspective
and not telling all.

I hope you liked and even understood
the poem and you were not too bored
from all of my rambling.  Please say a
prayer for our friend Marissa.  She is
in need of many now.  So I guess that’s
about all that I can think of to tell you
aside from what I tell you every week
and that is,  I wrote some more poems
and haiku.  This week though I only
wrote 8 poems due to me working on
my books converting from JPG to PDF,
but there is one semi Christmas poem
in the mix.  I also wrote 22 more haiku
for all of the haiku lovers out there 🙂
I hope you can find 1 or 2 of either or
both that you like.  Now I reckon it’s
time for me to begin looking for that
hardly elusive off switch,  but surely
not before I wish you a wonderful
and blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  Now,
where can that confounded off switch
be trying to hide this time?  Hmm,
looking in a few of its previous hiding
spots. LOL OK so that is sort of new.
I was looking through my desk a little
while ago trying to find a old heating
oil receipt from DOC’s to see when it
was that I bought heating oil last and
found some old phone numbers that
I printed out.  I laid them on top of my
desk and that seems to be where that
little ornery off switch chose to hide 🙂
It was right up under it trying not to
move,  but as usual it couldn’t stay still.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

Evening Awakens

Sunshine glistens
as it fades away
displaying signs
of the end of day.
Maybe of colors
that of a flame
orange to yellow
times to attain.
Evening awakens
with scenic glow
a time so divine
a seasonal show.
Winter might be
a glistening find
helping to display
an evening’s shine.
You may perceive
the gold of bliss
that of a moment
a seasonal kiss.
Look to the sky
and watch it form
colors of time
again to be born.
Imagine its phase
as life’s memory
within the sky
for many to see.
Seeming timeless
it may become
evening awakens
end of the sun.

Mural’s Beginning

So many moments
time may unleash
heavenly paintings
filled full of peace.
Seeming as murals
upon scenic walls
God is the painter
a season befalls.
Began as a picture
that’s so very real
moments in essence
on life’s windowsill.
Heavenly paintings
the hills may seem
in winters of white
lifetimes of dream.
For as the scenes
continue their style
mural’s beginning
gives us a smile.

Silence is Golden

Looking in a mirror
life might expose
the scenes from within
that nobody knows.
Sometimes within us
is a story to tell
of a time in our mind
of a wishing well.
We might remember
where hills came alive
in times so magical
we found as surprise.
Potent fond memories
continue to live on
as a time and a place
of a so distant dawn.
For the moment lives
and isn’t too far away,
as it lives deep within
each wondrous display.
Also within pictures
it breathes a breath
of times remembered
of which came to rest.
Don’t let the scenery
of good times to die
hold them tightly
to never say goodbye.
Keep the memories
of the days of olden
living in your dreams
for silence is golden.

Leaving Eve

Driving from time
that minutes surpass
you may just find
a shadow you cast.
Leaving memories
a view of a phase
you might discover
a new path to gaze.
A road to illusions
that might be surreal
as they become as
a heartbeat’s  appeal.
Such as evenings
with yellowish tint
in rearview mirrors
of where you went.
Timeless journeys
as places to perceive
remembering then
when leaving eve.

Memories of Milo

Christmas of times
recordings of bliss
begins as a journey
of a seasonal kiss.
Taken as a blessing
footprints in snow
written as memoirs
moments bestow.
Pages from a book
of endless dreams
always burn brighter
as Christmas scenes.
White snow billows
as a certain song
Christmas essence
as time moves on.
Creating memories
of our doggy friend
memories of Milo
are within the wind.

Sunny Days

Flowers blooming
sights which to see
seasons discovered
is life given free.
Doors to Heaven
will open a path
displaying scenes
of future and past.
Take a look around
and see the sights
seeming as artwork
a painter delights.
So often moments
can pass thereunto
leaving our shadows
for others to view.
Found as footprints
our lifetimes portray
within the flowers
of day after day.
Take time to enjoy
the flowers of time
on the sunny days
or phases you find.
Find you a sight
that creates a style
moments of splendor
illumed with a smile.
Times as flowers
as lifetimes to gaze
found as blessings
on bright sunny days.

Within a Photo

Living as a breeze
that seconds inlay
time begins moving
as day after day.
Pictures are taken
as a breath of air
minutes consumed
with pixels of flare.
Dots all connected
to become a scene
deep within a photo
a time all agleam.
I often find myself
searching to find
a time to remember
and awesome design.
Time comes to life
as a hidden detail
deep within a photo
a dogs wagging tail.
You might even see
a man standing there
with camera in hand
a picturesque flair.
Finding then a day
a moment’s design
within a window
of time after time.
Allow then a breath
of a scenic parade
deep within a photo
a timeless cascade.

Our Two Boys

Four paws standing
in snow of white
become as artwork
a wonderful sight.
Standing together
they watch a while
their wagging tails
and each little smile.
They’re our two boys
we love them true
for they give smiles
in all that they do.
They frolic in snow
that winter’s inlaid
and even in spring
as snow starts to fade.
They are our boys
so filled with love
for they were a gift
from Heaven above.
They’re a bit ornery,
but we don’t care,
because they are our
answers to prayer.
They give us thanks
for their doggy toys
with wags of their tails
they’re our two boys.

Haiku
for Feb 1,  2020

Time is but a thing
that so many misconceive
thinking it stands still.

Our efforts of life
should be displayed in actions
not within our words.

Haste can destroy us
as hurry finds many holes
for us to fall in.

Standing in a storm
you might think it’s meant for you,
but it’s passing through.

The length of a chain
determines distance of grasp
or lack of movement.

Mornings give chances
to correct our yesterdays
with lessons we learned.

So many trials
are from the wrong turns we made
when we hurried through.

Windows to springtime
are often seen with changes
such as melting snow.

Challenging struggles
can often make you stronger
learning your limits.

Rivers of lifetimes
might rush through our emotions
leaving some ripples.

The sky above us
can reflect within a pond
showing many clouds.

When frowning too much
you can cause downfalls in life
that grew from your face.

Within a mirror
you might find a reflection
that mirrors the past.

Fields of daisies
can overtake the moments
hiding the grasses.

Making decisions
is a chore that many cease
due to their failures.

Grabbing breaths of air
from that of suffocation
can create much fear.

Losing your marbles
of moments disarray
might be due to age.

The lessons we learn
can become enhanced gateways
to new things to learn.

Many discussions
begin with many answers
creating questions.

Leaves of emotions
are as yesterday’s shadows
blowing in the wind.

Holding to the past
you might prevent any growth
from finding today.

Yearning for true love
there may be many liars
seeking for your hand.
