ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

I hope you were able to see the northern
lights the other day/night.  We were not
able to due to having cloudy skies which
we often have LOL.  It’s supposed to be
mostly sunny tomorrow and I might get
out and do a little mowing being it looks
like the grass has begun growing and I
don’t want it to get out of hand.  Today
is Mother’s Day and Judy had a good
time with all of her sisters yesterday.
Rocky and me just sat here and stared
at each other as I attempted to write
and create some poetry pictures hehehe.
Rocky didn’t pester me too much,  but
he gave it a good run hehehe.  He can
be a pain in the butt ya know 🙂  Well
last Monday Judy and I went to town
to have her blood test done so her
doctor in Presque Isle would have it
when we came up Wednesday for her
immunotherapy.  I waited in the car
for a while and then walked down to
visit the duck pond and take a some
pictures of them and then I walked
back to the car and waited a couple
of hours before deciding to just go to
the waiting room and wait for Judy.
When she was done we decided to go
to the Governor’s Restaurant and
get us some dinner.  We knew that we
were not going to be able to eat all
that we got and brought home quite
a bit to have for dinner later and even
a little snack the next day LOL.  It’s
not something we do often.  We will
go again for my birthday in August 🙂
as we do most every year.  We might
even go for our anniversary as we do
most every year in October.  It’s our
special place to go.  Anyways, our life
is actually quite mundane in most cases.
We don’t live exciting lives especially
compared to many others that we know
of LOL.  We do have plans on taking
a drive down to Cutler Maine to take
some pictures sometime soon.  The lil
town is a coastal harbor of Maine and
there are always a lot of boats in the
water giving us some great views that
we can take pictures of.  It’s been a
few years since we’ve been down that
way.  Hopefully we are both feeling up
to driving up near Caribou and doing
some mini golfing this year 🙂  I know
it might not sound like much to do,
but we try to do what that we’re able
to do and enjoy life as best that we can.
We do though spend much of our time
here with her crocheting and me doing
my thing writing poetry and such LOL.
Yeppers,  we’re an exciting bunch huh.
Judy and I pick TV programs or movies
to watch later on in the nights.  Oh yea,
Judy bought herself a new camera.  It’s
not a high dollar name brand,  but I
hope it works well for her to take some
pictures with.  Her old Canon camera
isn’t doing so well.  So I’m feasibly sure
that she’ll be using it for picture taking
on our drive down to Cutler as well as
other places.  God has been good to us
and sent us help when we were in need
and were unable to do what we needed
to do on our own.  Of course we still
have problems that arise in our lives,
but gain strength from God and things
go the way that they are supposed to go.
I hope you have God in your life today
as you walk the pathways of time.  May
your blessings be full.  Thank You God
for never wavering in Your Word and
always loving us through the storms of
life.  Amen and Amen.  Now I do believe
it is time for me to be reading back over
all that I’ve written here to see if I can
find me a good word or phrase that can
be used for the title for today’s brand
new poem.  So it’s away I go to that lil
place of my recollection that I always
like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.  It
looks as though I found me a nice little
title at the beginning of my rambling on
the fifth line 🙂 and now after checking
I see that it has not been used as of yet,
so used it shall be.  Here goes…

Sunny Tomorrow

Troubles will come
as time has its way
found in the windows
of every doorway.
There may be hidden
a horrendous view
synched within good
that’s bad for you.
Yet God The Father
will give you a hand
in the tomorrows
of life’s sinking sand.
Providing us a path
away from the sorrow
as peace in His word
as a sunny tomorrow.

Well,  there ya go.  I hope you liked the
poem and maybe even a little of my silly
rambling.  I think I’ve told you all that
there is to tell other than what I tell you
nearly every week and that is,  I wrote
some more poems and haiku.  Yeppers,
10 more poems and 22 more haiku for
all the haiku lovers out there :).  I hope
you can find 1 or 2 of either or both that
you like.  Now, I do believe it’s time for
me to begin my search for that hardly
elusive off switch,  but not before I wish
you a truly blessings filled week and
a Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms
including my mom which I love with all
my heart.  Now where can that ornery
off switch be trying to hide this time??
Hmm,  I think I see it hiding behind my
nose spray again.  Come on,  that bottle
is sitting right in front of me.  Oh so you
were feeling a tad congested.  Well I do
not think it works on switches hehehe.
Next time maybe try to find you a better
hiding spot :)?  Better luck next week 🙂

Magical Views

Life is transfixing
as artwork of time
with magical views
seeming to rhyme.
Forming windows
with valleys galore
with magical views
in a cosmic door.
Scented of seasons
as fields of dreams
along with distant
rolling hill scenes.
Textured as life’s
perpetuating ages
just like a breeze
of heartfelt stages.
Blessings perceived
as wondrous hues
presented in time
as magical views.

Remembering moments
that time took away
brings back the blessings
of a scenic display.
It might be a time frame
that’s locked inside
along with the memories
the moments applied.
Seen as a passageway
to a time you recall
as heartbeats of passion
that now stand tall.
It may just be memories
with a loving contrast
of a loved one in a scene
in winters of past.

Scenic Photographs

Pictures as portals
can create a phase
seeming illusional
in so many ways.
Transforming time
to a moment’s sight
that for an instant
may cause delight.
Yet as the seconds
drift in your mind
scenic photographs
reflect life’s design.
Transformed pages
of storybook places
found in the style
of landscape faces.
Exposing flavors
of a timeless view
seen as a portal
from old to anew.
A time’s reflection
as shadows we cast
might live within
scenic photographs.

Springtime Bestows

Sprouting from seed
life comes in view
displaying the stages
as lifetimes accrue.
Coming from earth
as time sees the sun
flowers with colors
as spring is sprung.
Transforming scenes
into blessings of gold
found as the beauty
that we may behold.
A life giving essence
of moments in time
becomes as a breath
of springtime design.
Look and admire
the highs and lows
with flowers of life
springtime bestows.

Throughout The Times

Living within memories
time can seem to grow
displaying the seconds
of then we did not know.

and took us on journeys

Life’s living tracks
as a train of thoughts

within a sky of blue
can become dreams
with time passing thru.

Recalling Memoirs

Reflecting on winter
as the scenes appeared
I recall the moments
the snowflakes adhered.
Transforming seconds
to a season of bliss
while giving heartbeats
a wintertime kiss.
Recalling the blessings
that came so alive
dreaming of snowflakes
falling from the skies.
 I now search my mind
for the wintertime stars
mind written scenery
recalling memoirs.

Time might be seen

Time’s we’ve worded
as a storybook style
can become majestic

that a picture beholds
an essence of scenery
that a story unfolds.
It creates doorways

majestic daydreams.

Shadows That Cast

The past gives scenery
that lives deep inside
as shadowy moments
with true love applied.
We each have hearts
with loss of a friend
which may be love
that did so transcend.
Casting the shadows
that are still in view
thriving as memories
that exist within you.
Love has a doorway
that allows life inside
as God felt heartbeats
shall forever reside.
Blessings from heaven
with heartfelt contrast
will give us a smile
as shadows that cast.

Haiku
for May 11,  2024

Love is a heartbeat
that beats often in silence
due to being shy.

The storms within us
might expose our weaknesses
when we’ve had enough.

Threads of a blanket
might come unraveled in time
and need resewing.

Breathing too quickly
you might inhale a problem
that breath did not need.

Tomorrow’s sunshine
might be but only a dream,
for there might be rain.

Finding your footing
on a pathway throughout time,
you might find mistakes.

Linking together
all the mistakes that we made
we might find answers.

In search of a view
of which you have dreamed about
you might be saddened.

So many lessons
come in form of our mistakes
telling us to change.

Mornings of sunshine
can enhance our views of life
if we allow them.

Finding a flower
might take a little looking
when amidst the weeds.

Standing in a storm
you might surely get rained on,
so find some shelter.

Ordering someone
to do what you will not do
can be very cruel.

Looking for answers
amidst piles of confusion
you might find questions.

Opening windows
does not always let in good,
for sometimes it’s bad.

Years in the making
can often display chances
in wishful thinking.

Moving too quickly
can put you in some problems
that you did not see.

Seeking for the truth
you might discover liars
that think they can hide.

Visualizing life
needs for a clear view of it
or become as prey.

Blessings we receive
might be from others praying
that we did not know.

Walking through shadows
we might recognize a few
that look like our friends.

Glimmers of heartbeats
might be the rhythms we need
to give us a breath.
