ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been a cold and rainy day with a little snow early this
morning. It’s 42 F degrees right now which is rather warm
at the moment compared to the passed few days we’ve had.
The temp is supposed to bounce up and down for the next
few days, then maybe finally hopefully settle into the cold
of winter. I hate it when it snows and then gets above the
freeze mark which causes melting and then it just refreezes
when the temperature goes down. I don’t mind it so much
driving in snow, but the ice is hard enough to walk on much
less drive on LOL. Benny is loving all of the snow. Every
time we let Milo out to go potty, Benny runs outside with
him, but when Milo comes back in, Benny still wants to stay
and play. We have to come back later to check to see if he
is done playing in the snow LOL. I just let him back in a
moment ago and he was all excited. He grabbed up some
squeaky toys and took off through the kitchen and right
between my legs hehehe. Milo was waiting for him to come
back in and he went running along side of him. They are
both now lying in their doggy beds right beside me. They
are getting used to the Sunday rituals hehehe. Milo will
watch from the bedroom as I hold lil Benny up so he can
watch mom drive out of the driveway. They know she’ll
be home later. Benny keeps his ears focused on listening
for Judy to come home LOL. The downfall to that is that
he barks at anything that he thinks might be mom driving
in the driveway and I have to open the door and let him
look so he’ll shut up :). But of course, when he is sure
that it is mom, he goes ballistic and there is no doubt
that it is Judy driving up. Yep, those boys love mom a
whole bunch. When she comes in the door, both Benny
and Milo are jumping up on her trying to say hello LOL.
I have to hold Benny back until Judy makes it in the
door or he’ll run out and get right under her feet and
make it hard for her to walk. They do that with either
of us when we’re gone for a bit. When I get out of the
car to go check our mailbox, Benny starts whimpering
and Judy will lower the back window so he can watch me.
Anyways, onwards to hopefully another topic hehehe.
Judy and I had a great Thanksgiving. We were though
afraid that we were going to be stuck at home due to all
of the snow, but our landlord sent a guy to plow us out.
So, we went over to Judy’s sisters house and met up
with more of the family. Both of Judy’s daughters were
there and our granddaughter Rylee. Also a few others
of the family were there. Brother in Law Dennis cooked
the turkey and he did a fabulous job. I don’t even like
turkey and I went back for seconds hehehe. After we
finished eating, a few of us gathered around the table
and played Pictionary. That was a blast even if a few
of us didn’t draw so well LOL. Benny and Milo had
a great visit with their cousins. Yep, them and their
4 Yorkie cousins were all over the place. We were
pretty much ready to come home after 5 or 6 hours
and Benny and Milo were too :). I hope you had a
safe and happy Thanksgiving. I ate too much LOL.
My stomach is still feeling the swell hehehehehehe.
I went Tuesday and got an ultra sound on the lump
on my shoulder and now I’m waiting patiently for the
results. I hope it isn’t anything bad. Hopefully he
will be able to just remove it without any problems.
It’s making my shoulder hurt really bad. It’s in God’s
Hands. Anyways, looking on towards this week I
can see that December is finally making it’s intro.
Yeppers, Monday is the first day of December which
tonight begins the 25 days till Christmas. I’m writing
more and more Christmas poems the closer it gets :).
It’s a mystery to how many I will get written this year.
I got a hundred written last year and the year before.
Boy Milo is doing some wood cutting hehehe. He’s
our little lumber jack. Ok, if ya don’t know what I’m
talking about, think Sawing Logs/Snoring hehehe.
It’s still 42 F degrees outside. Tomorrows supposed
to be a high of 40 F, but drop to 11 F tomorrow night,
then a high of 21 F for Tuesday LOL. Crazy is right.
I wish it would just make up its mind. Although, I’m
sure that it will soon enough, and the 40 F degree days
will not be seen until maybe April or May hehehehe.
I thank God for all of the beauty that displays through
the doorways of winter. God does His decorating with
the snowflakes that fall. The snow becomes a blanket
that is spread over the scenery making it to glisten.
Sheesh, Milo is freaking snoring LOUD! It makes
it rather hard to think. I’ve gotta wake him up and then
let him go back to sleep. Maybe that will work LOL.
Hehehe it stopped it for a bit, but for how long that
is the winning question :). I guess I need to hurry and
make my journey back through all that I’ve written
here to see if I can find a decent word or phrase that
I can use for the title for today’s brand new poem
and do it quickly before Milo’s snoring starts again.
So it’s away I go to that place of my recollection that
I always like to call RECOLLECT VILLE. It looks
like I found a good title not but a few lines back, so
let’s see what I can do with it, if anything at all :).
Here goes!!! Milos snoring lightly now LOL.

Doorways of Winter

The chills of winter
will enter through
bringing along scenes
that come into view.
Doorways of winter
have knobs that will turn
maybe invisible,
but moments discern.
Minutes are gathered
as doors open wide
allowing the fragrance
of Christmas inside.
Doorways of winter
are found in the air
flavored with snowflakes
and God’s love and care.
Each scene’s transposed as
time front and center
with Christmas coming through
doorways of winter.
This time every year
as seasons move on
doorways of winter
display a new dawn.
Christmastimes blessings
with children at play
doorways of winter
have so much to say.
Thankful for family
and love given true
doorways of winter
show a Christmassy hue.

I wasn’t intending on writing another Christmas poem, but
there ya go HoHoHo hehehe. I hope you liked it OK and
maybe even my rambling hehehe. Yep, I do tend to ramble
don’t I hehehe! LOL I thought I heard someone calling my
name and it was just Milo in a muffled snore hehehe. Benny
and me went to the front door and looked. Nope, nobody
there. It’s too early yet anyways hehehe. Benny stayed in
the living room and more than likely he’s lying on his most
favorite recliner to keep a look out for Judy/mom hehehe :).
He’ll be back in here after he gets tired of waiting. If I get
done writing in time, I might fix us something to eat, but if
not then we’ll eat when Judy gets home. Speak of the devil,
here comes Benny ;). He’s back in the floor lying next to
Milo right beside me. Yep, I know these boys. It’s gotten
to be a regular thing every week hehehe. Milo’s begun his
vibrato/snoring again :), but thankfully I am almost done
with my writing. Oh yea, I tried to call ya mom, so I guess
this will have to do, HAPPY BIRTHDAY. I love ya bunches
and bunches mom. Now, I need to tell you what I tell you
almost every week and that is, I wrote some more poems
and haiku. Yep, 10 more poems with SIX of them being
Christmas poems. I’ll let you figure out the others, LOL.
Yep, wrote some about us. I also wrote 22 more haiku for
all of my haiku lovers out there. I hope you can find one or
two of either or both that you like. Now it’s time for me to
be searching for that horrible at hiding off switch, but not
before I wish you a most wonderful weekend or what that’s
left of it and a blessings filled week. Remember, Jesus
loves you and we do too. Now where’s that dad burned
off switch attempting to hide this week??????? You’re
getting better or I’m just getting worse at searching LOL.
I see ya dude! Hiding under my tissues would of been a
good spot if my allergies weren’t acting up so freaking bad.
Aaaaaaachewwwww. I think I lost a brain cell that time :).
Anyways, Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

P.S. Oops I forgot, I wrote one extra poem, so that makes
11 for this week instead of 10 hehehe. So, there ya go 🙂

Now on with the poems and haiku
10+1 and 22 hehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Sweet Embrace

Ceilings of grateful
are found in the sky
with many angels
to watch till we die.
Embracing the moments
with their love and care
all of God’s angels
are answers to prayer.
Sweetly they watch us
and guide us so true
all of God’s angels
are for me and you.
Angels of mercy
from Heaven above
sweetly embrace us
with God’s Holy Love.
Even when problems
come with disgrace
all of God’s angels
give sweet embrace.

Winter Stars

Seamless beauty
winter stars
join with Venus
and with Mars.
Starlit windows
open true
giving me a
wondrous view.
Found as dreams
with endless roads
winter stars
the skies expose.
Seaming timeless
pages turn
winter stars
my eyes discern.
Up above me
oh so far
I can see the
winter stars.
As they twinkle
in the night
the winter stars
show their delight.
Endless dreamlands
I can see
the winter stars
turn Christmassy.
Then those twinkles
that I gaze
turn to Heaven’s
Christmas days.
Each star glistens
with its hue
winter stars
of thereunto.
Christmas beacons
through the night
winter stars
so very bright.

Northeastern Sunrise

Maine’s early mornings
bring sunshine to see,
northeastern sunrise
found so Heavenly.
Coming up early
from that eastern sky
the sun brings its glory
to soon be so high.
A northeastern sunrise
with colorful hues
sometimes as purple
with shades of some blues.
Northeastern sunrises
brings forth a sight
that is a present
that’s given from night.
Soon as the morning
shines in my eyes
I am with joyful
northeastern sunrise.

Our Little Shadows

Four legged footsteps
make sounds as they go
our little shadows
found then to and fro.
Walking behind us
while anticipating
our little shadows
are watching and waiting.
They are our boys
as brothers in time,
yet they’re with breeding
of a different design.
Our little shadows
are four legged true,
but we do love them
for they are true blue.
Four legged shadows
are God’s given grace
our little shadows
follow us everyplace.
Hearts filled with passion
those shadows of love
walk on with footsteps
from Lord God above.

Simple Bliss

Winters mornings
give a kiss
sometimes with some
simple bliss.
Flakes of snowfall
landing true
simple bliss
becomes the view.
Distant scenes are
Christmas sights
simple bliss
found in the nights.
Winters wonders
find a way
to expose that
Christmas day.
With a snowman
children made
simple bliss
is lemonade.
Christmas blessings
far and wide
simple bliss
will come inside.
With some lights
red, green and blue
simple bliss
can live in you,
Christmas joyful,
Heavens kiss
might expose some
simple bliss.
Found within a
day and time
Christmassy
and so divine.
So if sadness
finds you blue
find some simple
bliss in you.
It might be
forgotten days
simple bliss
of wondrous ways,
but you might just
find a smile
simple bliss
from distant mile.

Two Trees

In a forest of trees
stands two all alone.
Two evergreens
so tall they have grown.
They have seen many
to come and to go
each Christmas season
amidst fallen snow.
The two trees stand there
watching and awaiting
always each season
just anticipating.
They have only dreamed
of Christmas with lights
them being lit up
so bright in the nights.
Each and every winter
they hope and they pray
that they will soon see
that special day.
Then one winters night
they heard some faint voices
Christmas tree searching
ones making their choices.
All of the sudden then
here came a little boy
looking up at them
and filled full of joy.
He hollered dear daddy
come look and come see
I think I found
the very best Christmas tree.
His dad came then trudging
on through the snow
looking up high
and looking down low.
His dad said now son
there’s two here the same
both of them wondrous
but not why we came.
Yet while he stood there
he thought of a friend
that the other tree
he could surely send.
The two trees smiled
as they were cut down
to finally see that
great Christmas town.
Stood up so sturdy
with lights and decorations
this had surely filled
their best imaginations.
Seeing the children
to give them applause
then go to bed
to await Santa Claus.
We both had our places
with true window views
watching all the lights
of reds, greens and blues.
Across the street
we could see each other
smiling all lit up
trees just like brothers
Then during the night
we both heard a sound
and down the chimney
we heard Santa bound.
This was the man that
those children awaited
and that great moment
that we anticipated.
We had finally found
our Christmas families
yet not together
but still as two trees.

White Flakes of Christmas

White winters mornings
awaken with scenes
snowflakes of Christmas
that fill many dreams.
White flakes of Christmas
fall down to the Earth
creating artwork
of blessings filled worth.
Scenes mesmerizing
found as delight
snowflakes of Christmas
falling pure white.
Christmas with snowmen
and snow angels too
white flakes of Christmas
display such a view.
Children all playing
while throwing snowballs
white flakes of Christmas
most surly enthralls.
Each scene of Christmas
is found at a glance
sometimes so wondrous
as God’s song and dance.
White flakes of Christmas
most surely are found
always up northward
when Christmas comes around.

Just Reminiscing

As time has moved along
it’s left me to dream
just reminiscing
every little thing.
Thinking about my childhood
times long ago
just reminiscing
things that I know.
I remember Christmas
when I was so young
singing about Jesus
Lord God’s Only Son.
Those times I remember
with mom, dad and sis
just reminiscing
I now surely miss.
Christmas light looking
as we drove around
looking at the lights
with windows rolled down.
Those days long ago
are just a memory
just reminiscing
our old Christmas tree.
The train going around it
on its little track
just reminiscing
those days way back.
Now I’m much older
with a wife of my own
watching each Christmas
with white scented tone.
Us now together
with our little boys
Benny and Milo
and their squeaky toys.
So, now is most special
with future to see
just reminiscing
our own history.

Lost In A Smile

Sometimes a moment,
sometimes a place
lost in a smile
finds home on my face.
Ventures of heartbeats
time moves along
lost in a smile
creates a new dawn.
Often ones needing
that you have been there
lost in a smile
displays love and care.
My own perceptions
of yesterdays path
lost in a smile
shows good aftermath.
Sometimes our choices
of good times or bad
lost in a smile
replaces the sad.
It’s how we view it
those times long ago
lost in a smile
can help you to glow.
Don’t let the darkness
to envelop you
lost in a smile
can better the view.
Let God to help you
see passed all the greys
then lost in a smile
can show better days.

Dancing Hearts

The holidays
of timeless scenes
dancing hearts
create some dreams.
Moments gather
growing true
dancing hearts
of me and you.
Two together
holding hands
dancing hearts
of timeless sands.
Winds of journeys
travel on
dancing hearts
from dusk to dawn.
Us together
watching time
growing stronger
yours and mine.
Heartbeats beating
truthfully
dancing hearts
through history.

It Has Begun

Winter’s here
it has begun
with the sight
of mornings sun.
Christmas follows
with its sights
lights that twinkle
in the nights.
It has begun
that wondrous day
some with snow
to go and play.
Christmastime
is coming soon
with each song
we sing in tune.
Songs of Jesus
Lord God’s Son
Christmastime
it has begun.
Even Santa
songs we hear
sung by many
so sincere.
It has begun
that wondrous time
Christmas blessings
so sublime.

Haiku
for Nov 29, 2014

A thought does nothing
until action is followed,
but make sure it’s good.

Heartfelt emotions
can be viewed in the wrong light
if you are not clear.

Our own integrity
can become soured ventures
if we’re not careful.

The light of morning
comes shining through the windows
giving a new glimpse.

Challenging others
could end up with you losing
even if you won.

As winter winds blow
the signs of the times are seen
sometimes as snowflakes.

Trudging through the snow
leaves some footprints for others
that they might follow.

Fighting off bad thoughts
gets harder when repeating
pathways you’ve chosen.

Looking for answers
through your own stupidity
might create problems.

Allowing a problem
to become all that you are
could bring your downfall.

The moonlight glistens
as stars in the sky twinkle
giving us some light.

A simple shadow
could be just a mere shadow
of something that’s passed.

Beyond our eyesight
there are many things to see
that are never seen.

Sometimes ones heartbeat
can become as a rhythm
sounding as a drum.

Less of our choices
can often show better ways
if we’re bad choosers.

Kinks in an idea
will come when it’s not thought through
and just acted out.

Looking at the clouds
you might see a few items
that you recognize.

If not letting go
you might find yourself in pain
from stretching too far.

Gossip is a killer
as a two edged sword of words
that could cut your heart.

Life is a flower
that blooms within its own time
and not before it.

When your shadow fades
you might find you’re in darkness
but not without God.

Harboring anger
could make you as dynamite
to one day explode.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been another wintery week around here, but we have
yet to of had the full fledge onslaught of winter up this way.
Nope, we’ve had nothing this year like New York has had
recently. They had the lake affect snows that caused more
than their share of snow to be dropped on them. I’m quite
sure that there were a few other states in the neighborhood
that got slammed a bit. We’ve still got snow on the ground,
but nothing of a grand detail. I’m pretty sure the full beauty/
fury of winter will come in its own time LOL. I’m actually
excited to see what it will do this winter. Although I’m sure
that after a month or so of it, I will be excited to see it done
with hehehe. Too much of anything can get old ya know LOL.
Benny and Milo are doing well. Milo had to go outside and
go potty a minute ago and so Benny went outside with him.
Milo is already back inside, but as always, Benny is not,
because he wanted to play in the frozen stuff some more :).
Benny simply adores snow LOL. I just went to check on
him and he’s still not ready to come inside where it’s warm.
Silly boy! I’ll go and check on him again in a bit, but it’s
onwards with my rambling for now hehehe. This week I’ve
got a doctors appointment for an ultrasound on the lump on
my shoulder and two large moles on my back to make sure
they are not cancerous and then I’m having them removed.
Hopefully all goes well. I don’t think I have anything to
worry about. I’m quite sure that God has much more for
me to do, but if not, then that’s life. Our time is numbered.
So, I just went to see if Benny was ready to come back in
and he was sitting at the top of the steps waiting for me :).
Now he’s in here lying in the floor right beside me. Milo
is in the bedroom lying in a doggy bed at the moment, but
I’m sure he’ll be in here shortly hehehe. Speaking of the
devil, here he comes LOL. Now he’s lying in the floor on
the other side of me. I’m surrounded :). Milo just got up
and went to lay down next to Benny. They are so sweet :).
Oh yea, last night Judy and I discovered that our favorite
cartoon channels are back. That was quite a thrill. Yes,
we like to watch the old cartoons hehehe. We’re not too
crazy about the new ones. There are few of the new ones
that we like, but we prefer our favorites on Boomerang
and the Cartoon Network. We’re still young at heart 🙂
I am having trouble writing due to the boys now up and
about wanting my undivided attention LOL. They are
now both right behind me. Ok, so I’ll try to finish with
my journal. The days have gotten real short here lately.
It seems that no sooner than the sun rises, that it sinks
in the west LOL. I have been running out of energy
much faster than normal. It seems no sooner than I get
up. I am exhausted LOL. Getting old I guess! Benny
keeps barking at sounds that he thinks is mom coming
home. LOL I said, she won’t be home till much later,
so knock it off ya lil over active doorbell hehehe. Milo
has gotten into the habit of following Benny’s lead and
starts barking or in many cases running for the door
if Benny thinks it is something we need to know hehehe.
I can usually tell if it’s truly something important when
Benny starts his whining and jumping at the door LOL.
Who needs a doorbell? We have one, but on most
cases, Benny he starts barking before anyone has come
to the door. They might of just driven in the driveway 🙂
We bought us a dish cover for our satellite dish that is
supposed to keep the snow and ice from sticking to it.
Our landlord said he’d come and put it on it Monday
or Tuesday. Our dish is on the roof of our house and
I don’t do heights very well anymore due to a few bad
falls I’ve had in the past. Anyways, hopefully that
dish guard or what is called Dish Armor will prevent
us from having too many problems with loss of a signal.
Of course there are weather conditions that we just
cannot do anything about and we’ll just have to accept
that. It’s not too cold right now. Only 35 F degrees.
Tomorrow and Tuesday believe it or not, it’s supposed
to be in the low 50’s, but then by Wednesday drop to
the low 30’s and by Thursday and Friday in the low 20’s.
So the warm days will be few hehehe. Yeppers, winter
is making its entrance. I just went to the kitchen to
get me a Mountain Dew and heard the pitter patter of
tiny feet right behind me as Benny and Milo followed
me there and back LOL. My little shadows hehehe :).
Well, other than what I’ve mentioned, there’s not
much of anything happening around here other than the
regular stuff LOL. Judy and I watch all of our favorite
TV programs together. Friday we finally watched our
newest video, The Man of Steel and It was pretty good.
It’s almost time for us to begin watching our Christmas
movies :). Of course we love to watch them anytime.
Benny just went ballistic thinking Judy was home and
Milo followed suit hehehe. I had to hold Benny up to
the door so he could look outside and see that it was
just the neighbors LOL. With all of these distractions
it will be a freaking miracle if I ever get this journal
finished :). It’s OK hehehe, I’m sure I will get it done.
I have done with much worse distractions :). God gave
me this ability to express all of my thoughts in writing.
I’ve had this gift for many decades, but there were
a number of years that no one knew of it. I kept it
secret. It wasn’t up until I fell ill and almost died in
1994 that I found that others might like to read my
thoughts. One never truly enjoys life until they are
faced with death and many times the reason for life
is more apparent as it was for me. I found that many
people enjoyed my levity and insights. My gift was
most surely a blessing. You also have blessings that
you may not be aware of due to many other factors in
your life. Maybe the wrong time and place. Our gifts
explode into reality when the right time has begun.
Don’t let yourself get caught up wishing and wanting
for someone else’s gift. Your gift is surely no less
than any other. It’s our gifts combined that create
larger blessings. Let God fill your heart with His
wants for you and you will be found complete with
blessings abundant. Now I believe it’s time for me
to be taking my little trip back through all that I’ve
written here to see if I can find a word or phrase
that I can use for the title for today’s brand new
poem. So, it’s away I go to that little place of my
recollection that I always like to call RECOLLECT
VILLE. I believe I may have found a decent title
and now after checking I see that it has not been
used yet by me of course hehehe, but we’re fixing
to remedy that LOL. I hope it makes sense :).

Worse Distractions

Times and places
in between
might distract us
sights unseen.
Things we’re thinking
thoughts obscured
might distract us
from God’s Word.
Worse distractions
song and dance
might just put us
in a trance.
Mesmerizing
echoes blast
worse distractions
from the past.
What we’ve yet to
just let go
might distract us
to and fro.
For when passed days
live in you
worse distractions
live there too.
Now and here
needs interactions
to work through
the worse distractions.
Make them tools
of lessons learned
worse distractions
bridges burned.
There are answers
in the time
worse distractions
best design.
So let now
to find you peace
worse distractions
own release.
With a silent
prayer to God
worse distractions
turn applaud.
With the peaceful
Heaven sent
worse distractions
find content.

There ya go 🙂 I hope that made at least a little sense to
you 🙂 and I hope you enjoyed all of my rambling hehehe.
It’s getting late and Milo is staring at me. He’s giving me
that little glare, like it’s almost time to eat. The fact is
to Milo, anytime is time to eat LOL. But wait he must :).
He’s now getting a drink of water which I’m sure will be
followed with a knock at the door telling me that he has
to go pee hehehe. He has a weak bladder. Ok so he’s
a knocking LOL. He just came and jumped up here to
tell me in case I didn’t get the message 🙂 I’ll be back.
I took a bathroom break while he was outside to sort of
kill two birds with one stone :). So, what have I forgotten
to tell you about hmmmm???? I can’t think of anything.
So, I reckon it’s time for me to tell you what I tell you
almost every week and that is, I wrote some more poems
and haiku. Yep, 10 more poems with 2 of them being
Christmas poems. Also I wrote once again 22 haiku for
all of my haiku lovers out there. I hope you find one or
two of either or both that you like. Now I believe it’s
time for me to begin my search for that not so evasive
off switch, but not before I wish you a most wonderful
weekend or what’s left of it and a blessings filled week.
Remember, Jesus loves you and we do too. Ok, now
where are ya hiding this time ya silly thing? Hey that
was actually a good hiding spot this time aside from it
being one the places you had to come up for air hehehe.
Plus your sneezing kind of gave ya away LOL. Hiding
in my little pepper shaker didn’t turn out so great huh :).
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Tomorrows Sun

Yesterdays footsteps
on tomorrows sun
make now a path with
the new days begun.
Tomorrows doorway
is taken in stride
when we are found then
somewhere inside.
Then with our pathways
of tomorrows sun
we might find answers
to why things are done.
Left ways perception
or right ways then seen
might display moments of
tomorrows sun dream.
With all our yesterdays
paving the way
tomorrows sun will
find us today.

Those Memories

Times I remember
as oceans beach sand
I find a dreamland
where two lovers stand.
Watching the repeating
of waves come ashore
those memories are
oh so much more.
Two sets of footprints
are seen faraway
found in a dreamland
of that distant day.
The scenes are of beauty
two hands holding tight
those memories are
us there in sight.
Walking in the waves
right up to our knees
we’re holding hands
in those memories.

To Judy Ann Pearce
From William Earl Pearce II

Blissful Distraction

Sometimes our troubles
can become better found
when they are seen from
a different time around.
It’s with our viewpoints
that gives a reaction
sometimes as problems
blissful distraction.
When many footsteps
make troublesome miles
blissful distractions
might display some smiles.
Mornings of dewdrops
with breezes blowing
blissful distractions
might begin snowing.
With every minute
of each mornings dawn
a blissful distraction
might help you move on.

Lavender Heart

Some see the world as
bullets just flying
as there’s so many
either dead or just dying.
The soldiers of freedom
still walk evermore
just like they’ve done
many times and before.
The scenes are horrific
that so many find
making a soldier
of heroes design.
Some see the fighting
and do not see true
how they’re protecting
our red white and blue.
Then a few soldiers
receive for their part
what that is purple
a lavender heart.

Winter Awakens

As the sky changes
it displays a view
winter awakens
each day so anew.
Then as the season
December does find
many are finding
a Christmas type mind.
Winter awakens
with snowflakes that fall
or maybe pictures
of white over all.
People begin then
hanging their lights
that are with beauty
found deep in the nights.
Winter awakens
with things that we see
as maybe twinkling
lights on a tree.
Then there’s not any
moments mistaken,
for Christmas comes when
winter awakens.

Deciding To Change

While choices doorways
are found in our sight
we have the chance to
do what is right.
Not letting past days
to be who you are
deciding to change can
make you a star.
Sometimes our future
needs new direction
deciding to change with
a better correction.
Don’t let your past days
troublesome heart
to be just remembered
as discolored art.
Change the direction
that you have been going
if what that’s seen is
trouble bestowing.
Right now this moment
some good can attain
if you find truthful
deciding to change.

Imagine Christmas

Looking within us
our minds eyes might see
signs of the times
of our history.
Imagine Christmas
with glistening trees
or maybe snowflakes
as white fluffy seas.
Imagine the moment
that Christmas is here
with all the songs
ones sing so sincere.
Look now within you
and find that great place
that is of Christmas
with Jesus embrace.
Imagine Christmas
as time goes around
then look before you
as Christmas is found.

Vision Lake

While floating on
that vision lake
sights and sounds
are no mistake.
Splashing waters
side by side
as we journey
on our ride.
Me and Paw Paw
drifted on
after dusk
and into dawn.
We went floating
fishing true
vision lake
of thereunto.
Time has passed now
I can see
vision lake still
him and me.
We were best friends
him and I,
but he one day
had to die.
My sweet Paw Paw
still holds true
he’s my granddad
through and through.
Up in Heaven
I am sure
he has a place
to set my lure.
When I die
we’ll surely make
ripples on
that vision lake.
Up in Heaven
him and I
will be fishing
by and by.

Distant Moment

A distant moment
faraway
lives and breathes
right now today.
That sweet moment
I recall
colors of the
leaves of fall.
Times reflections
distantly
become what my
eyes can see.
Pictures taken
times request
now are found
the very best.
A distant moment
photograph
remembers what
has come to pass.
Found as pictures
counted true
a distant moment
comes in view.

Traveler Winds

Snowflakes found falling
as traveler winds
become the blessings
as each one transcends.
Finding their journeys
as winter winds blow
the end of the journey
becomes mounds of snow.
The traveler winds
are always changing
making the white snow
always rearranging .
With every single breath
of a windy day
the traveler winds
create a display.
Some become drifters
seeking new sights
in traveler winds
of days and nights.
Sometimes the snow will
pile up so deep
until the traveler
winds seek to sleep.
Then as the moments
of peaceful is found
the traveler winds
leave snow on the ground.

Haiku
for Nov 22, 2014

Now finds tomorrow
as often just mistaken
for it’s not in stone.

Finding a storm cloud
does not guaranty a storm,
for it might move on.

With quicksand of time
many find themselves hopeless
when without Jesus.

Peace comes quietly
as ones focus on destruction
distracted by war.

Lingering echoes
might be the sounds in the night
of ones that have passed.

When looking outside
you might miss the view inside
of your family.

Minds that will gather
can bond their thoughts together
and make them as one.

Lines on writing paper
help to keep the words in place,
but some ignore them.

In a winters day
you might find yourself standing
in mounds of snow.

Now is a shadow
of yesterdays that we’ve seen
that we might not like.

Similar people
might not think so similar,
for we are unique.

So many answers
come in form of some questions
that have no answers.

Life in a nutshell
contains quite a lot of nuts
that need to be cracked.

Lingering snowflakes
create stories of winter
written high and low.

As evening draws near
the last of the days sunlight
shimmers in the west.

Minutes becomes time
that’s added onto moments
with hours counted.

Impatient people
often leave wakes in their lives
that crash on others.

Believing in ghost
is written in the bible
as The Holy Ghost.

Life is a moment
that is already written,
but maybe not done.

Pages we’ve read through
might have some hidden meanings
that we’ve overlooked.

Holding too tightly
to your yesterdays in time,
might cease any growth.

Blessings encountered
can be something regretted,
but turn out for good.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

How’ve ya been?  We’ve been doing pretty well.  I finally found
an MD doctor and he has taken me on as a new patient.   Last
Tuesday was my first visit.  I gave them all of my transcripts
from Medical city to copy.  Boy they loved me for that hehehe.
I’ve gotta hang onto them myself being they are from 1994-
95 and they only hang onto records for 10 years or that is what
I was told.  The lady looked at the large folder of doctors notes
and went sheesh hehehe.  I said sorry,  she said it’s OK LOL.
Anyways,  I have a male MD and he is talking about having
this lump taken off of my shoulder and a few moles off of my
back of course after he makes sure that they’re not cancerous.
I’m scheduled to see him again in January.  I just hope all of
that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.  OH well,  it’s gotta be
done.  I have many other things that I will have him focusing
on that I hope he can help me with,  but many things that I’m
sure he can’t do no more than my previous doctors.  Oh well.
Life goes on or at least it does in some form of existence :).
I’m not afraid of dying.  I’ve been there knocking at the door
and from what I saw it was very peaceful,  but it was not my
time and so I lived.  Now,  what else is there to talk about?
We’ve still got white stuff on the ground.  It’s been lightly
snowing most of the day and me and the boys went out for
a little stroll in the field.  Ok so it turned out to be just me
a Benny being that Milo wasn’t crazy about the idea of
going out there,  but he did come out a little ways before
turning around to head back home hehehe.  Benny on the
other hand did as always,  just bounced around as he went
exploring and when I was ready to head back,  I had to
keep hollering,  BENNY COME ON,  IT’S TIME TO
HEAD BACK.  He would start running towards me but
just as a child with ADHD he tends to get distracted by
the littlest things such as a clump of grass or a mound of
snow and I’ve gotta keep reminding him that it’s time to
head back to the house hehehehe.  Milo by that time was
already on the front steps barking saying he’s ready to
go back inside LOL.  It was sort of cold,  but nothing
that compared to what it will be in next few weeks LOL.
Right now at 3:00 PM it’s 32 F degrees.  It was around
17 F degrees this morning.  Again,  nothing compared
to what it will be in the near future hehehe.  Judy and I
were talking about the weather just the other day and
she reminded me that it’s still considered Autumn/FALL
and winter hasn’t officially gotten here yet :).  Of course
there’s nary a tree with any leaves left to fall other than
of course the Evergreens that stay green all year long
and they don’t really have leaves.  It’s just me and the
boys again if ya haven’t guessed by now LOL.  Judy’s
doing her weekly thing :).  Me and the boys use it as
guy time hehehe.  OK,  so they’re dogs,  they are our
boys.  If anyone was to stand and listen outside our
door they would think we were talking to real kids :).
The sky has cleared up a bit.  Benny just now started
raising a ruckus because he heard a car outside,  but
it was just the neighbors.  I held him up to the door
and let him have a look.  That shut him up hehehehe.
Milo is sound asleep in floor next to me.  He didn’t
pay Benny no mind LOL.  I think he knew it was way
too early for mom to be home :).  Before Judy headed
out this morning,  I decided to lie back down for a bit
being I hadn’t gotten much sleep due to my freaken
restroom breaks and arthritis.  Milo hopped up in the
bed with me and then shortly thereafter Benny came
looking for a spot beside me LOL.  Judy through them
a kiss goodbye and gave me a kiss and me and the boys
laid there for a little while,  but being that my intestines
were still acting up quite a bit,  I decided to get up and
then they followed.  My intestines and arthritis are two
things that the doctor will not be able to help me with.
Believe me I know LOL.  After 2 decades of having to
deal with the issues,  I have just accepted them as part
of life hehehe.  Of course not the good part,  but part
of it none the less LOL.  Tonight at 8 o’clock I’ve
gotta set the DVR to record North Woods Law.  Judy
should be home soon enough to watch Finding Bigfoot.
It’s not on until 10 o’clock.  I’m pretty sure that we’ve
seen The Hunt for Hogzilla at 9 hehehe.  It’s already
getting dark outside and it’s only 4:15.  The day just
seemed to fly by.  I’m sure that the closer to winter
it gets the lesser of sunlight we’ll be seeing.  That’s
how it is.  Of course it’s nothing like Barrow Alaska
that now only has maybe 3 hours of daylight hehehe.
Fairbanks AK has only 6 hours of daylight right now.
Yeppers,  that would make for a short day and the
days get even shorter.  Alaskan summers might have
near 23 hours of daylight with just a brief encounter
with night hehehe.  That would be hard to get used
to,  but I reckon if I could get used to this weather
up here in Maine, I could get used to Alaska,  but
I would rather NOT hehehe.  LOL,  I had to put up
the fence in our bedroom to keep Benny from going
in the living room and barking at every car that he
heard :).  Him and Milo are both lying down in the
floor beside me now.  It’s looking like we might get
some sleet,  freezing rain and snow tomorrow.  I hope
Judy hasn’t got anywhere she’s gotta go.  The snow
isn’t near as bad as the freezing rain and sleet in my
book.  Milo is snoring away hehehe.  He’s sawing
logs.  If we had a fireplace I’d say Milo,  save a few
logs for the fire LOL.  Fireplaces and mobile homes
don’t work well together hehehe.  My stomach is
starting to talk to me.  Judy and I had breakfast
before she left,  but that has already gone through
my system and exited hehehe.  I might fix me and
the boys something to eat if I get time,  otherwise
I’ll wait until Judy gets home tonight.  In any case
I’ve gotta go to the kitchen and fetch me another
soda water.  I’m back!  Benny is now sleeping on
our bed or he was.  When I came through,  he sat
up and watched me as I went to the kitchen and
back,  then he laid back down.  I gave him a little
pat on the head :).  This household is most surely
held in God’s Hands.  Yes,  sin still functions as it
will,  but we are forgiven through His Son’s Grace.
Ones that think that they never sin are sorely blind,
for even just a mere unclean thought is sin,  but we
are forgiven through Jesus.  LOL I would maybe
already have this all written if I didn’t have to run
to the bathroom ever 15 minutes hehehe.  Here’s
my Christmas wish.   All I want for Christmas is
a colon and some sleep :).  Ok,  so I’d like to have
a little less arthritis too hehehe.  Oh well,  I guess
I’ll settle for some Christmas snow HoHoHo :).
Of course,  since we moved up here,  we have had
a white Christmas every year and often a white
Easter hehehe.  I love snow,  but hate the ice that
follows when it melts and refreezes.  No matter!
I am happy that God has brought Judy and her
family into my life and most grateful for these boys
that God has given us.  I know that,  with God,  all
things are possible.  Judy bought me that plaque
a few years ago and it’s hanging right in between
us.  It’s a good reminder that He is in control and
what seems bad to us,  might just be a lesson to
learn or a way to bring others together.  Our view
on life is very slim,  for we don’t see the whole
picture.  All of my passed struggles have made
me stronger,  for if back then I had to go through
what I am going through today with health issues,
I don’t think I could of handled it.  God will not
allow more than we can handle.  It’s us that puts
our limitations on what we can handle and often
ones will give up.  We see life as a long period
of time,  but to God,  life within our fleshly bodies
is but just a moment.  Heaven is forever.  Now,
I think I have gone and rambled quite enough and
it’s time for me to begin my little quest for a word
or phrase to use as a title for today’s brand new
poem,  so it’s away I go to that little place of my
recollection through all that I’ve written here,
in search of a good title from that place that I
always like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.  Hey,
it looks like I found a good title that I haven’t
already used,  so here goes.

All Things Are Possible

When struggles seem endless
as time moves along
all things are possible
with God dusk to dawn.
When peace is not displayed
and anger is found
all things are possible
with God’s solid ground.
When sickness is upon you
with health wished to find
all things are possible
with a God peace of mind.
When you’re with sadness
of the loss of a life
all things are possible
with God’s shining light.
When someone’s harmed you
and left you in pain
all things are possible
with peace to attain.
When right now shows storm clouds
with lightning and thunder
all things are possible
to fill us with wonder.
When you’re days ended
and you’re needing fresh air
all things are possible
with God through a prayer.

I hope you enjoyed my rambling and all as well as
maybe even the poem.  Hopefully my poem made at
least a little sense to you.  I had to stop mid poem
and let Milo outside to go potty and Benny went out
too.  Milo came right back in as always,  but Benny
is still out there exploring LOL.  I guess I will stop
here and go see if Benny is ready to come inside :).
OK,  I’m back and Benny was sitting on the steps
and ready to come in.  Milo came with me to check
on Benny and they joined up and ran side by side
all the way back here through the kitchen and our
bedroom LOL.  They do love each other and look
out for one another.  I just gave them both some
duck jerky.  That’ll tide them over till I can get
this done and feed them.  I had to stop once again
and fill their 4 1/2 gallon water jug hehehehehe.
They have a 2 1/2 gallon water bowl jug in the
bedroom.  but they tend to forget about it until
they are in there sleeping or something LOL :).
Anyways,  they are taken care of now and maybe
just maybe I can get this finished without too
many more interruptions hehehe.  So without
any further ado,  it’s time to tell you what I tell
you almost every week and that is,  I wrote
some more poems and haiku.  Yep,  10 more
poems with a little addition hehehehe.  Like
5 more poems.  Hey,  I was in a writing mood.
Anyways,  so I wrote 15 poems this week and
5 of them are Christmas poems.  Yes,  I also
wrote one extra haiku hehehe and so I wrote
23 in all for all of my haiku lovers out there
I hope you can find one or two of either or
both that you like.  Now,  it’s time for me to
begin my search for that not so elusive off
switch,  but not before I wish you a most
wonderful weekend or at least what’s left of
it and a Blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  Now,  where
is that off switch hiding this week?  LOL
I saw it but it was sort of weird.  It’s hiding
in my glasses case and it looks like it might
of got stuck.  Hehehe next time make sure
that you fit ya silly thing.  Gotcha,  see ya
CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

P.S. Two of the poems are written about Judy and I
with one of the two also about Benny and Milo :).
I also wrote one poem just about the boys hehehe.

Now on with the poems and haiku
10+5 and 22 hehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Books Of Time

Stages set to
pages turned
books of time are
then discerned.
Read as journals
words of time
and some might then
even rhyme.
It’s our books
as worded phrase
that connects
our future days.
Scenes encountered
times expose
might be highs
or maybe lows.
Books of time
might just be seen
as a wishful
moments dream.
Yet some pages
that we read
books of time
might fill our need.
Words from passed days
own design
might show hope
in books of time.

As Snowflakes Fall

While looking outside
I see a whitish color
wintertime’s arrival
as snowflakes will flutter.
Blowing in the breeze
like some little butterflies
as snowflakes fall
from those wintery skies.
Scenes start transposing
as time moves along
and I find myself
singing a little Christmas song.
The joy of the snowflakes
is found Christmastime
within all the blueprints
of its own design.
As snowflakes fall
my heart beats faster
seeking for that moment
that lives forever after.
A Christmas remembrance
that wins over all
is enlightened by the minutes
as snowflakes fall.

A Misty Day

The view is weak
while I seek sight
a misty day
and misty night.
The distant view
seems lesser now
from what surely
mist will allow
The stage is set
with night to come
a misty day
without much sun.
My view outside
is shadows gaze
through the mist
with less sunrays.
The time moves on
as I sit here
a misty day
year after year.
My view gets less
as time moves on
a misty day
seeks newer dawn.
Through the night
the mist will stay
to come again
a misty day.

Four Legged Brothers
(Benny and Milo)

Two dogs as our boys
will play through the night
four legged brothers
that God did unite.
They are our children
with hearts full of love
they’re not the same breed
but they fit like a glove.
Two dogs as our boys
in wintertime’s day
trudge on through the snow
while together they play.
Their ages are distant
with seven years apart
but they act just like brothers
with a similar heart.
Four legged brothers
we will love forever
as we watch them always
playing together.
Even while sleeping
they’re together with love
while we watch smiling
thanking God up above.
Those four legged brothers
of God’s Own design
came to be with us
and surely entwine.
We watch them always
with smiles on our face
four legged brothers
God gave with His Grace.

In My Head

I hear songs
of Christmas time
in my head
that great design.
All those songs
to sing around
heart and soul
from town to town.
In my head
I clearly view
all those songs
we sang so true.
Younger years
with mom and dad,
sister too
and oh so glad.
Us found singing
songs so sweet
Christmastime
was such a treat.
Dad put train tracks
around the tree
and turned the train on
and set it free.
Around and around
it chugged along
while we sang
a Christmas song.
In my head
I still can find
that great feeling
of Christmastime.

A Simple Guess

With right or wrong
and what we’ve had
a simple guess
can turn out bad.
Not first checking
left or right
a simple guess
might dynamite.
Check with others
firstly so
before you let
your guess to blow.
A simple guess
might turn out good,
yes thank God
and knock on wood.
But a guess
so simply made,
might be found
a bad crusade.
So if you’re knowledge
isn’t best,
ask for help,
put guess to rest.

Our Christmas Tree

With lights all glowing
great to see
December brought
our Christmas tree.
That wondrous music
I could hear
around our tree
we sung sincere.
Our Christmas tree
brought smiling faces
way back when
as time embraces.
Hearts all warmed
by Christmastime
our Christmas tree
brought wondrous rhyme.
Songs of beauty
God so sweet
and His Son
with love complete.
Our Christmas tree
gave memories
that are now
as deep blue seas.
Oceans of waves
that I remember
our Christmas tree
each great December.

Point The Way

Lord God Almighty
point the way
show me what to
do and say.
Help me find my
right direction.
Point the way to
my correction.
God I thank You
for Your Hand
always there
to help me stand.
Point the way Lord
where to go,
because Dear Jesus
I don’t know.
I’m a sinner
by and by
for I’m human
life applied.
Help me Jesus
to be strong
and do right
and not so wrong.
Point the way
my Lord above
show me grace
that’s filled with love.

Searching For Peaceful

Often my footsteps
make footprints in place
searching for peaceful
to put on my face.
Searching through minutes
of moments design
to take a glimmer
and make it as mine.
For often peaceful
is not clearly seen
but just some hopeful
that’s found in a dream.
Nobodies peaceful
for all of the time.
There will be moments
as minutes land mine.
So we all search on
sometimes in the dark
trying to find peaceful
that we can embark.
Searching for peaceful
is much easier done
when you have help from
Lord God’s Only Son.
So when your peaceful
has left out the door
look up to Heaven
and pray for some more.

Snow Trodden Footprints

Within my journeys
in the snow
I saw some footprints
where I go.
It seemed those footprints
mimicked mine
step by step
and time to time.
Snow trodden footsteps
clear as day
seemed to go
within my way.
Then I noticed
something strange
all those footprints
didn’t change.
They were my size
sure to fact
and they fit me
so exact.
Then I noticed
something more
things I passed
were same before.
Those were made
by only me
snow trodden footprints
I could see.
Then I looked on
clear in sight
saw where lefts ways
should turn right.
I had gone in
circles true,
but lights to home
were still in view.
I headed for our
front porch light
then by evening
edge of night.
I was tired from
that suspense
that I walked
snow trodden footprints.

Two Souls

With miles found to travel
two souls found a way
to bond them together
and change their display.
They united through poetry
and grew to a shine
that was the beginning
of two souls in time.
Their heartbeats grew stronger
as they journeyed on
from Maine unto Texas
with a new mornings dawn.
The two souls I speak of
are ones that you know,
you and I together
with each day to grow.
We’ve found many patterns
in our lives to change,
but after a long while
they seem not so strange.
You and I together
found two dogs so fine
and they’re as our children
we love all the time.
Two souls were so distant,
but now have earned more
with us all together
seeing what’s now in-store
Those boys are so loving
as we continue to grow
You and I together
with Benny and Milo.

To Judy Pearce
(and Benny and Milo)
From Bill Pearce

Through Poetry

What began through poetry
turned into two hearts
uniting through syllables
as God’s work or art.
Our words found a journey
that neither had known
and then through poetry
new life was grown.
With distance between us
the miles went away
as poetry showed us
a wonderful day.
We found through poetry
two hearts now as one
as God showed us blessings
that came from His Son.
Our love was magnified
as we donned our rings
that then through poetry
had turned amazing.
We’ve spent many years now
with love you and me
that we found so long ago
through poetry.

To Judy Pearce
From Bill Pearce

December Begins

While November shadows
still show on the ground
December is waiting
to surely be found.
Time displays memories
that autumn’s recorded
showing the magic that
time has rewarded.
It’s through the seasons
of time and agin
that we might surely
see snow to transcend.
Then as December begins
and gets on its way
Christmas comes closer
with day after day.
Many decorations
will light up the nights
as December begins with
Christmas delights.
So many are waiting
for snow to fall down
with feelings of Christmas
as it comes to town.
Then as the season
grabs hold with its wins
Christmas comes surely
when December begins.

A Shadow of Christmas

With a shadow of Christmas
ones seek to remember
those special timeframes
found in December.
As the minutes tick faster
they find such a glimpse
with music then playing
a Christmas past tense.
The scenes come alive
as minutes tick faster
with a shadow of Christmas
that many are after.
So many still recall
their yesterdays at glance
with a shadow of Christmas
with its song and dance.
The family togetherness
of so long ago
is a shadow of Christmas
some see in the snow.
Christmas lights all twinkling
as the season comes alive
makes a shadow of Christmas
to always survive.
Many generations
of a Christmastime review
makes a shadow of Christmas
still live in me and you.
Those times we remember
when much younger we were
makes a shadow of Christmas
to once again occur.
Using all those memories
of our lives long ago
makes a shadow of Christmas
much more than shadow.
Becoming as a new day
that allows memories
a shadow of Christmas
can rustle like the leaves.
Coming alive with blessings
and letting it to shine
makes a shadow of Christmas
become more sublime.
So as the seasons move on
and Christmastime is found
let a shadow of Christmas
help the magic come to town.

Lingering Lullabies

Deep in a dream world
of wishes come true
lingering lullabies
will come into view.
Scenes found so magical
as oceans of fishes
come from the lingering
lullabies wishes.
When our reality
is filled with nightmares
lingering lullabies
make chocolate éclairs.
Sweetness of dreamworld
and blessings so fine
lingering lullabies
show their design.
It’s when those lullabies
are journeys complete
that they are lingering
dreamlands of sleep.

Haiku
for Nov 12,  2014

Searching for snowflakes
might give a crick in your neck
due to looking up.

As many gather
the differences might change
as likeness occurs.

Yesterdays turmoil
might repeat many timeframes
if it is ignored.

Little bitty things
in some enormous places
might be important.

Morning brings sunrise
that might be hidden by clouds,
but yet still be there.

Living on the edge
could lead to your destruction,
so back off a bit.

Some sounds in the night
might be mistaken for bad,
when it’s just the wind.

Many people lie
losing sight of what is true
and end up lonely.

Years often pass by
leaving many in the dark
without not a clue.

Meandering thoughts
bring about endless rubbish
unless words make sense.

An early winter
awakens the scenery
filling it with snow.

Letting laziness
to create your excuses
will soon be exposed.

Without exercise
the body’s wither away
making us weaklings.

Being popular
might be good for a moment,
but it can get old.

Lessons from our past
can be teachers for others
to show right from wrong.

Living in a dream
might turn into a nightmare
if you don’t wake up.

Many challenges
come as sticking with the truth
and not a facade.

Life is like a rose
for we must deal with some thorns
to see the beauty.

Focusing on war
dilutes the vision of peace
that needs common ground.

Dominoes await
the constant falling structure
to start their journey.

An ocean breeze dream
comes as a mere memory
from passed days gone by.

Waiting for others
might find you standing in rain
as some don’t hurry.

When our peace is vague
let God help distinguish it
to find the blessings.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

How have you been?  This passed week including the week
before has been a bit on the wintery side.  I slipped and fell
on our front steps the week before last and busted my butt
AGAIN.  It had snowed and I was going out to retrieve the
rug that we had put out to dry and it seems that the shoes
that I had on had no traction whatsoever to my surprise and
I went sailing down the steps landing on my buttocks with a
crashing sound which Judy heard from inside hehehe.  She
came to the door with Benny and Milo and said,  “are you
OK”?  I said,  “nope and HELP,  my shoes won’t let me
get any traction and I can’t get back up the steps hehehe”.
I ended up putting my feet into the arm railing brace and
pushing myself up to the doorway and then grabbing the
inside of the door and pulling myself in.  I have a nasty
bruise on my behind that sort of resembles the one that
I got last year from almost the very same epidemic LOL.
I guess I should one day learn that when there is ice or
snow to be seen or known of,  I should where shoes that
I know have traction and not just assume that they do :).
So,  that maybe explains why I didn’t write anything last
week huh hehehe.  It hurt quite a bit to sit down hehehe.
Well,  my butt doesn’t hurt quite as bad this week,  but
it’s still got a big bruise on it as Judy commented on it
last night to the boys LOL.  So,  it’s onto another topic.
The weather is on the chilly side.  It got down to about
28 F degrees last night and right now at 12 PM it’s only
41 F degrees.  Not too bad!  We still have a ton of snow
on the ground,  but much of it has melted away in the
last few days.  I’m sure it will be replenished in the next
week or so hehehe.  Winter has just begun :).  Right now
it looks as though it could rain or snow any moment now,
but it’s not in the weather forecast.  Milo is on our bed
taking a nap and Benny just strolled in here to see me
and has now curled up in a doggie bed on the floor right
beside me.  I guess when I went in there a minute ago
to open the door and take a few pictures,  he figured it
was time to leave his perch on the recliner and come in
here with me.  He wanted to go with Judy this morning,
but he and his brother had to stay home with daddy :).
Judy is doing her Sunday tradition over at her sisters
house taking care of her mom.  The boys have sort of
gotten used to it,  but this passed week Judy has been
having to go over and watch her mom quite a bit being
Dennis and Trudy had doctors appointments to go to
and all.  I’ve scheduled to get the oil changed in our
car this week along with me finally finding a doctor
that will take me as a patient and I have my first visit
this week.  I hope it goes well.  I have a few things that
I’m needing looked at such as this large lump on my
my shoulder and a mole that seems to have gotten a
bit larger on my back.  Oh well,  maybe it’s nothing :)!
So what else is going on around this place?  Hmmmm,
OH Yea,  Judy bought a DVD rack that just came in
the mail the other day and she was putting it together
last night.  It’s strictly a one man/woman job hehehe.
She’s a lot better at doing stuff like that being that
I can’t see very well and my big hands tend to get
in the way all of the time LOL.  Those tiny screws
and nails are hard for someone like me to work with.
Judy’s real good at putting those things together :).
I’m good at keeping our PC’s running and keeping
us and the boys fed hehehehe.  Judy and I do from
time to time switch off on who does dinner and all
and that’s nice.  It still looks wintery cold outside
even though it is only 41 F degrees LOL.  I know,
to many of you out there,  41 F degrees is freaking
cold,  but to us it’s just but the beginning hehehe.
No,  I’m not part Polar Bear hehehe.  I just bundle
up more to stay warm.  Of course in here with the
PC’s and radiator heater it stays nice and toasty.
We’ve had a 100 gallons of heating oil delivered
the other day and our landlord came and put a new
valve on our furnace to get it working again,  so now
I’m not so worried about the water freezing up in the
kitchen and the bathroom in the spare room at the
other end of the house.  Thank God that the gas
and oil prices have gone down.  My sources tell me
that they will continue to go down on into 2015 and
maybe start rising a bit around the middle of the
year,  but who really knows.  My info tells me that
our gas and oil consumption has been less than
they had predicted and they have found other oil to
add to the stock pile which is now fairly large,  so
the prices go down per barrel which in turn brings
gas and oil prices down for us at the pumps.  That
in my book is great.  It sure helps us with our small
budget hehehe.  So that’s my insight on that subject.
What else is there to talk about.  LOL I just went
to the kitchen to get me another Mountain Dew and
Benny followed me and is now parked right in front
of the door once again waiting for his mom to come
home.  I’m sure he’ll end up back in here as the day
moves on.  She won’t be home until late tonight as
usual or as it has been.  She might surprise us and
pull up in the driveway earlier,  but we never know.
Benny will most assuredly let me know when she’s
home hehehe.  There’s no need for the doorbell :).
He’ll be raising a ruckus in there LOL.  Milo will
be found following suit as he sees the reason for
Benny’s yelping LOL.  Hey, I’m seeing a few small
breaks in the clouds.  Yes,  blue skies do exist LOL.
The old sun is even peeking out a bit,  but it’s gone
now.  Oh well,  it was short but sweet hehehe.  It’s
supposed to get down to 24 F degrees by Monday
morning.  The sun has poked its head out again and
I got a few pictures of it.  When I opened the door to
take pictures,  Benny let me know that he wanted to
go outside for a bit,  so I let him.  I’ll check on him
in a bit.  Milo is still fast asleep on our bed.  More
to the point he’s on my side of the bed hehehe.  Oh
well,  I’m not using it at the moment LOL.  I hear
snoring coming from in there hehehe.  He’s sawing
logs.  Oh yea,  Milo turned 10 years old on Oct 31
Halloween :).  He’s an old codger like me hehehe.
In dog years,  he’s maybe 54 years old which is
just 4 years younger than me LOL.  He still likes
me to play with him and Benny can still every once
in a while coax him into playing chase hehehehe.
They might not be related blood wise,  but they do
act like brothers.  They look out for one another.
My stomach is growling at me.  It might be near
time for me to fix me and the boys something to eat.
I might fix us some eggs and bacon,  but who knows.
It’s not like they’re starving.  They have a pan of
dried dog food in the floor if they are feeling the
munchies hehehe.  Milo had to go to the bathroom
and so I let him out and Benny passed Milo as he
ran back inside hehehehe.  Milo of course did his
thing and was back up the steps ready to go back in.
Benny tried to block him from coming inside and
Milo pushed through him just like always and they
began their little side by side race on through the
kitchen and into here :).  Milo is in a doggie bad
in the floor beside me and after checking,  Benny
is on our bed now.  Of course Milo hopped up the
minute I got up to look and now they’re both on
our bed making themselves comfortable hehehe.
They are a mess hehehehe.  It has gotten up to
43 F degrees now,  but I think that’s as high as
it’s gonna get today.  Winter has pushed autumn
out of the way and moved in for the kill hehehe.
I wonder how much snow we will get this winter
as well as how low the temperatures will go LOL.
I guess it doesn’t really matter.  We will have to
deal with whatever comes our way,  just as you
will have to deal with whatever comes your way.
Some states have typhoons,  tropical storms and
hurricanes and some have tornadoes,  while some
have fires,  landslides and Earthquakes and there
are some states with droughts and fires.  I’m sure
there are many other things that I cannot think
of,  but ya see my point.  We have cold winters
and a lot of snow.  We deal with it as best that we
can.  There’s no place that’s perfect which brings
me to this question.  Why do they call Florida
the sunshine state?  It has more hurricanes and
rain than any state according to what I see on
the weather channel LOL.  They should call it
the rainy state and I’m beginning to think they
need to start calling Maine,  Little Alaska LOL.
None the less,  I thank God for all of the beauty
that comes before my eyes.  The seasons shake
their magic wands over the lands and demonstrate
God’s mighty artwork.  Each day is a mystery as
pages unfold.  It’s God’s book with pictures to
explore.  I love to head out with camera in hand
and attempt to capture the paintings before my
eyes.  I know my photos will never come close
to what God displays in a moment,  but I still
try.  God’s had before the beginning of time to
get His artwork perfected and He shows that to
me every day.  Thank you God for all that You
do and all that You will do,  for I know, You know
best.  Now I believe it’s time for me to take my
little journey back through all that I’ve written
here to see if I can find a good word or phrase
that I can use for the title for today’s brand new
poem.  So,  it’s away I go to that place of my
recollection I always like to call RECOLLECT
VILLE.  I think I found a decent title just a bit
back on what I wrote,  so let’s see what I can
do with it.  Here goes!

Pictures To Explore

The wonders of the world
are there to see
pictures to explore
that God gave for free.
The magical places
where colors reside
pictures to explore
that can’t be denied.
The seasons come shining
their own little way
pictures to explore
in our day to day.
With each and every page
in the essence of time
pictures to explore
God displays so fine.
The wonders of the world
are found put in place
pictures to explore
decorated with grace.

I hope you enjoyed my rambling.  Sorry I was gone last week,
but that might happen from time to time,  being the fact that
I’m human and do get sick,  tired,  etc, etc.  Hopefully I have
many more years to write,  but if not,  then so be it.  I hope
and pray that something I have written helps you with your
daily struggles.   The boys are sound asleep or at least Milo
is hehehe.  When I peeked in on them,  Benny raised his head
up and looked at me.  Milo’s sawing logs LOL.  He’s our little
lumberjack hehehe.  I bet he cuts up at least a cord or two in
his dreams LOL.  None the less,  they are our lil boys and we
love them dearly :).  We thank God for them every day.  Yes,
they do get on our nerves from time to time,  but for the most
part I couldn’t imagine life without their little toothy grins hehe.
I know dogs lifespans are much shorter than ours,  but I thank
God for the time that we have with them.  They show the truth
of forgiveness.  They love us unconditionally.  Is that something
that you can honestly say that you do?  I think not!  We all have
our conditions whether we’re aware of them or want to admit
them or not.  As humans,  we tend to expect love in return and
when it doesn’t happen,  we walk on.  If we’ve been spanked
for something we’ve done,  we’re not quick to let it go,  but a
dog will.  Here’s a silly little analogy and that’s all it is,  so do
not do this,  I repeat,  DO NOT DO THIS.  (If you locked your
spouse and your dog in the trunk of your car,  which do you think
would be happy and forgiving?  The dog of course!  Your spouse
might have ideas of payback LOL.)  Anyways,  DON’T DO IT!
Ok so I reckon it’s time for me to be telling you what I tell you
almost every week and that is I wrote some more poems and
haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more poems with 3 of them being sort of
Christmassy.  Also once again I wrote 22 more haiku for all of
my haiku lovers out there.  I hope you find something from
either or both that you like.  Now it’s time for me to begin my
search for that not so elusive off switch,  but not before I wish
you a wonderful weekend and God filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  So now,  where is that dad gum
off switch hiding this week.  It’s had an extra week to find it
a decent hiding place.  BUT,  as I can see now very clearly,
it didn’t use that time for nothing but to freaken sleep and why
do you think that I think that,  you ask?  It’s sleeping on my
ESC button right here in plain sight.  Wake up you silly thing.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Looking Off

When out searching
sought within
things might seem
to just begin.
Doorways open
day and night
some as wrong
and some as right.
Looking off though
might perceive
sights we find
that cause to grieve.
Wanting others
lives we’ve found
to be ours
next time around.
Yet when faced
with all they’ve got
looking off
might be Hell bought.
Let your wanting
daily stride
live and breathe
with good inside.
Looking off
will maybe show
others lives
that you don’t know.
For their hearts
and days desires
might just be
some Hellish fires.
Hidden from
the world to see
looking off
is all they’ll be.

Useless Waiting

Hours and days
that minutes tick on
useless ones wait
from dusk until dawn.
Waiting impatiently
uselessly so
as time might seem
to them way too slow.
Useless waiting
can become
time constrained
what could be done.
Don’t just sit
and wait around
seen so useless
daily found.
Use the time
that God gave you
to find you something
good to do.

The Snow That Fell

With winters winds
comes other sights
what’s blown in
the days and nights.
So many scenes
that come alive
with winters winds
and chilling drive.
Some flakes of white
might fall to find
echoes of
sweet Christmastime.
The snow that fell
might then be seen
as a moments
Christmas dream.
With blissful thoughts
alive and well
Christmas finds
the snow that fell.

The Sway

Mind over matter
as time is perceived
some find the sway
from what they’ve believed.
Challenging moments
might come into play
when many gather
to just do the sway.
Without first learning
how things might just be
some do the sway
a bit out of key.
Lessons from others
that stumble around
might find the sway
with only a frown.
The sway of life
is only true blue
if what you show
is living in you.
Let God to Help you
find who you are
and then be the sway
of God’s shining star.

Left Is Right

When our journeys
find an end
there’s a new one
around the bend.
Left is right ways
journeys time
with some footsteps
found in line.
Right might find a
wrongful sight
and left might be
what’s really right.
It’s the timeframes
that we see
those directions
found to be.
Right might be the
way to go,
but left might be the
better flow.
Sometimes our own
narrow sight
does not see that
left is right.

November Snow

So early this season
the snow surely fell
finding perceptions
of winters detail.
November snow
with a wonderful hue
white snow now glitters
a skyline of blue.
Yet the clouds above
surely now only show
the sight of more falling
of November snow.
The weather’s now colder
as winter is found
early this year now
with snow on the ground.
November snow
in a midseason sight
shows me so awesome
the color of white.

Lights of Christmas

With the twinkling lights
of Decembers hues
the lights of Christmas
display the news.
Christmassy scenery
set all aglow
sometimes amidst
some fresh fallen snow.
The lights of Christmas
with jingling bells
and Christmas songs
the season foretells.
The lights all glittering
glowing all night
display the beauty
of Christmas delight.
Stories of Santa
and his Christmas sleigh
flying in the sky
a magical way.
With the lights of Christmas
all guiding his flight
he makes his journey
on Christmas eve night.
Then you might hear
a jingling sound
bells on his reindeer
when he comes to town.

Sunshine On Snow

Reflections of sunshine
on a snow covered ground
can be so blinding
you can’t look around.
The sunshine on snow
reflects oh so bright
even in the darkness
with only moonlight.
The beauty is endless
as snow covers all
after the season
of leaves colored fall.
God gives this beauty
for us to partake
the sunshine on snow
in a billowy wake.
Snow drifts of blessings
from here to afar
becomes a picture
of God’s shining star.
Sunshine on snow
is a wonderful view
as it’s reflecting
a magical hue.

Christmas Reason

Thoughts of Jesus
come to mind
when I think of
Christmastime.
Christmas reason
falls in place
when we find we’re
saved by grace.
Winters doorways
open wide
letting Christmas
come inside.
Bringing blessings
from The Son
Christmas reason
has begun.
With each heartbeat
you and I
Christmas reason
tells us why.
Love and passion
is so true
given free
to me and you..
Find the blessings
of this season
found within
the Christmas reason.

The Ocean of Mind

As waves of emotion
with sands giving way
the ocean of mind
has so much to say.
Yet many people
hold waves deep inside
their ocean of mind
so painful applied.
Each with a rhythm
of rolling amount
holding in every
moments account.
The ocean of mind
has depths so to say
sometimes beneath
each hearts crashing wave.
Don’t let the ocean
of mind to drowned you.
Look for the answers
through God oh so true.
You’ll see the journey
as waves come ashore
when the ocean of mind
finds answers to soar.

Haiku
for Nov 8,  2014

As we may daydream
some realities might shone
and make us depressed.

Today displays time
in a mysterious way
that we might not see.

Too many choices
can create many problems,
so keep it simple.

When tumbleweeds blow
they often become larger
as they might unite.

Allowing bad thoughts
can cause an intense landslide
as troubles rush in.

Looking in mirrors
does not always show the truth
of what’s deep inside.

With just but a breath
God put life inside our hearts
and gave us free will.

When looking outwards
our inwards sights get clouded
and we lose ourselves.

Emotions of rain
give a last minute rainbow
as a smile from God.

As fall says farewell
we find winter winds blowing
bringing us some snow.

Tree limbs with snowflakes
become artwork of winter
as more snow gathers.

With a simple choice
your life can be good or bad,
so use common sense.

As today finds end
it leaves shadows of itself
found within our minds.

When a page is turned
it might find redundancy
later in the book.

Searching for snowflakes
finds me staring at the stars
in the dark of night.

Within our worries
holds the choice for acceptance
to God’s Will be done.

When found in pity
look around you at others
and see how they smile.

Sometimes a problem
is but only a molehill
and not a mountain.

What might seem as bad
could turn out to be the best
hidden in the rough.

Looks of a liar
are often within their eyes
as they drift about.

A journey of words
begins with some syllables
and some emotion.

There are many clowns
with their smiles just painted on
hiding every frown.
