ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends
&
HAPPY NEW YEAR

I hope you all had a merry Christmas
or whatever you celebrate.  Judy and I
had a wonderful Christmas.  We went
to Caribou Maine and spent Christmas
Eve with the family and then came home
and watched Christmas movies.  Then
Christmas day,  Judy fixed us a nice lil
Christmas dinner and we are still busy
picking the ham to pieces and all that
was left LOL.  We watched Christmas
movies most of the day.  🙂 We’re still
watching Christmas movies when we
get a chance.  Our grandson Christian
came yesterday (Saturday) and is now
spending the weekend with us.  There
isn’t much else to tell,  besides that,  I
don’t want to spend too much time on
this article,  being I would much rather
spend some time with Christian.  So,
I’ll tell you the quick things hehehehe.
We’ve still got quite a bit of snow and
it snowed again Friday.  Yes we had a
white Christmas,  although,  it didn’t
snow then,  but we still had a lot of that
white stuff on the ground 🙂  I took a
little vacation from writing last week.
LOL I wrote a little bit,  but not even
half of what I usually write.  Hey,  it
was Christmas ya know HoHoHo.  I
called my mom up and wished her a
merry Christmas.  Thankfully,  my
sister Peggy went and spent Christmas
Eve with mom.  Thank you Peggy 🙂
I hope you had a merry Christmas as
well.  God has been good to Judy and
I.  He’s put people in our lives that
have become just like family and He
has also kept His mighty hands over us
protecting us.  Thank You my Lord.
So,  now I do believe it’s time for me
to be looking back on all that I have
written here to see if I can find me a
good word or phrase that I can use
for the title for today’s brand new
poem.  And so,  it’s away I go to that
little place of my recollection that I
like to call RECOLLECT VILLE…
I think I may have found a decent
title just a few lines back hehehehe.
Now to hopefully write something
that makes a little bit of sense using
it :).  Here goes nothing…

I Do Believe

The signs of times
within history
are what reminds
what God gave free.
His love so true
with each passing day
becomes so clear
as we kneel and pray.
He watches and waits
for us to decide
to seek for His love
to live deep inside.
For I do believe
His love will win
giving us Heaven
even when we sin.
He sent us His Son
to help us survive
and find a pathway
to the great prize.
Heaven awaits us
if we’ll turn around
and seek His love
upon higher ground.
We must each decide
what paths we weave,
for now is a chance
for I do believe.

I hope you enjoyed the poem and you
got something out of it.  I also hope you
enjoyed my rambling.  It was quite a bit
shorter than normal huh hehehe.  Judy
and I hope that the New Year brings you
many blessings.  Stay well and safe.  Well,
There’s not much else to tell you except
of course what I tell you every week and
that is,  I wrote some more poems and
haiku.  This week I only wrote 4 poems
and no Christmas poems.  I did though
write 22 haiku for all of the haiku lovers
out there.  I hope you can find 1 or 2 of
either or both that you like.  Now,  to try
and find that hardly elusive off switch,
but not before I wish you a Happy New
Year and a wonderful week.  I’ll see you
next year 🙂  Now to find that ornery off
switch.  Hmm,  gettig lazy are ya,  or are
you doing as I did,  taking a little break?
So OK,  you did try to hide,  sort of LOL.
Right behind my glass of orange juice 🙂
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Virtual Peace

Within a photo
that time brought true
a virtual dream
can come in view.
A virtual moment
found with a smile
a time you remember
now out of style.
A virtual peace
that begins its vision
as time moves on
the roads we’ve driven.
Life’s as a turnstile
a rhythm of roads
that time carries on
life by the loads.
Lingering memories
become such a view
that moments envelop
all that is new.
Then is just a shadow
a glimmer of time
found as a memory
then so divine.
Some virtual peace
becomes clear to see
as a page within page
of a blissful degree.
So look at a photo
and find some release
tucked there within it
as virtual peace.

Simple Smiles

Look within
and find a way
to move ahead
from day to day.
Find a smile
within your view
and then begin
its view in you.
A simple smile
can open scenes
minutes passing
seasons dreams.
Take the time
to look ahead
and find a view
to then bewed.
Marry it to
your view today
and then smile
a bright array.
Allow for time
that life compiles
to find within it
simple smiles.

With Life

Time on Earth
is now and past
with some scenes
we wish to last.
Links to then
become insane
for we’ve sought
so much to gain.
Beyond our view
might be a time
a sight to see
that is sublime.
For with life
is time’s display
filled with hope
for another day.
Yet we need to
search within
and find a path
to then begin.
A journey to
and journey fro
the light of life
to help us grow.
Finding times
a faded hue
and giving them
a better view.
Allowing life
of time and date
to not to meet
a similar fate.
Look for life
within a dream
to then create
another scene.
A scene of truth
a scene of life
filled with hope
and less of strife.

Midnight Dreams

Some faded light
and starry haze
gives the moon
for ones to gaze.
Time becomes
 a midnight tour
with the essence
life’s allure.
A cloudy night
of certain scenes
much like oceans
or like streams.
Seasons change
as clouds drift by
in the midnight
dreamers sky.
A lowly page
is turned in time
giving ones
a sky’s design.
Just like a stage
with actors white
clouds drift by
with such a sight.
Becoming scenes
we dream so true
to give our sleep
a wondrous view.
This is called our
midnight dreams
clouds becoming
whitish streams.

Haiku
for Dec 29,  2018

Life is a story
written with many lifestyles
some don’t understand.

Moment’s perception
could be a misconception
viewed in a hurry.

Alone in a room
you might hear many movements
spirits watching you.

Time is the seconds
that creates many choices,
sometimes illusions.

Leaving with anger
can bring about much regret
as you remember.

Lost down an old road
dust of life might hide real well
the much better scenes.

Essence of slumber
can be a dreamers charade
displayed as our wants.

A forest of thought
can imagine a doorway
to another place.

Shadows of ourselves
are found in many others
that see us daily.

Above and beyond
is a notion of hopeful,
often unable.

The leaves of autumn
display their welcoming sight
as winter’s doorway.

Looking far and wide
can cause a moment of loss
as now eludes you.

Grass is like our lives
as some think ones are better,
but perception lies.

Links to a lifestyle
can become an illusion
we think of as real.

Chance is a moment
that comes and goes in our lives
some good and some bad.

Bitterness of life
can unlock many pathways
within loneliness.

In search of a time
you might overlook blessings
right in front of you.

A snowy winter
displays chance for a snowman
to stand big and round.

Today’s tomorrows
might hold yesterdays visions
that were just a dream.

Springtime awakens
when winter’s fallen asleep
leaving melting snow.

Through many windows
there are different visions
we’ve chosen to see.

Loneliness will grow
if you’ve created a wall
inside of your mind.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends
&
MERRY CHRISTMAS

Well it’s one day till Christmas Eve 🙂
I hope yall are ready.  Judy and I have
been looking forward to this wondrous
day.  Spending it with the family.  We
cannot wait.  Christmas is our favorite
time of year.  We’ve been watching a few
Christmas movies almost every day 🙂
We might watch The Christmas carol
tonight.  The problem is what version of
it we want to watch hehehe.  We have
3 versions of it.  Oh well,  which ever
that we decide to watch,  I am sure we
will enjoy it.  We’ve still got a lot of that
white stuff outside LOL.  We had 2 days
of 40 and 50 degree weather with rain,
but it’s in the lower 20’s today and it’s
supposed to be that way for the next few
days.  It doesn’t look like it will snow
tomorrow or Christmas Day,  but there
is some snow forecasted for a day or 2
afterwards.  Although,  we all know that
the forecast is just a guesstimate and it
could give us a surprise.  It’s happened
many times before 🙂  We’re happy just
having some snow on the ground and
yes,  we still have tons of it HoHoHo 🙂
Of course I would love it if it would snow
a little bit for Christmas,  but I have no
control over the weather.  Although,  it
does look like we will most assuredly
have a white Christmas again as we have
had for the past 11 years.  Yep,  I love
snow and I love to watch it snow and I
love to take pictures of all of the white
wintery scenes.  I even like to go outside
and play in it with our boys 🙂  I guess
I was born to live in this colder climate
being I don’t like it when temperatures
get in the upper 70’s and above.  I am
very hot natured and due to my health
issues I cannot handle hot weather,  so
this is perfect for this old Santa Claus
looking guy.  Of course we do have
a few weeks of warm weather that we
have to use our portable air conditioner
during the summertime days,  but for
the most part it’s just right for this old
man.  The scenery up here gives me a lot
to take pictures of which many of the
pictures I use for my poetry.  LOL I’ve
already written 72 poetry pictures for
my up and coming book 10 🙂  I ordered
a copy of my new book 9 and received
it Friday.  It turned out GREAT.  I was
worried,  being I had to use a different
publishing client other than Createspace
which is the one that I used for all of my
other books.  Createspace has moved all
of its stuff to Amazon.com.  I had to
do my front cover a little differently to
get it to look like the rest of my books,
but I managed.  Still,  the hardest part
is formatting all of my poetry pictures
into PDF.  That takes a little bit of time,
but I can do it being I have a lot of time
to spare LOL.  I know I write a lot,  but
writing and photography keeps my mind
alert.  I do though get tired of not having
any friends up here to come and visit me,
but that’s life.  I know many that have it
much worse than me.  Judy and I have
each other as well as these 2 little boys
of ours.  I was hoping that my daughter
would be able to come up for Christmas,
but she had too many financial issues that
prevented it.  Maybe next year :).  Judy
and I are hoping to be able to drive to
Texas in 2019,  but it all depends on how
our finances are as well as our health.
Still,  God gives us what we need and
helps us in our many struggles through
life.  He will not do for us what we are
able to do for ourselves though.  That
would not be helping,  but hindering our
growth.  Growth comes from struggles
and lessons come from our failures in
life.  The key is,  to not give up,  for we
all have our own share of trials in life,
but they may be hidden from you and I.
So don’t think that just because someone
is doing better than you that they aren’t
struggling with something behind closed
doors.  Now with that said I reckon it is
time for me to look back over all that I
have written here to see if I can find me
a good word or phrase that I can use for
the title for today’s brand new poem.
So it’s away I go,  to that little place of
my recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I may of
found a decent title about halfway back
in my rambling and now after checking
I see that it has not been used as of yet,
so used it shall be today.  Here goes…

The Hardest Part

Choices we choose
and times we find
can often create
a bad frame of mind.
Some rocky roads
that time displays
might be the teachers
of future days.
The lessons we learn
from other sights
might be the teachers
of wrongs and rights.
The hardest part
might be to let go
of a time and place
you used to know.
Often our pathways
are threaded desires
formed in the mindset
of yesterdays fires.
The torches we burn
in an unhealthy way
can burn up your life
and lead you astray
So, learning to let go
is the hardest part,
but sometimes needed
to heal your heart.

There ya go.  I hope you liked the poem.
I also hope you enjoyed my rambling LOL.
Judy’s in the kitchen fixing up some foods
for our Christmas Eve family gathering 🙂
I’m looking forward to it.  The temperature
is dropping 🙂  It’s 20 F right now,  but it’s
supposed to be 2 F by morning.  It looks
as though I will have to leave a hot water
faucet dribbling over night to keep our
hot water heater from freezing.  That will
also prevent our cold water from freezing.
Anyways,  I haven’t much else to tell you
other than what I tell you every week and
that is,  I wrote some more poems and
haiku.  Yep,  10 more poems,  no extras,
but there are 6 Christmas poems in the
mix.  I also wrote 22 more haiku for all
of the haiku lovers out there.  I hope you
can find 1 or 2 of either or both that you
like.  Now I believe it’s time for me to
begin my search for that hardly elusive
off switch,  but not before I wish you a
most wonderful blessings filled week
and a truly magical Christmas.  I hope
you have a safe and joyful holiday with
friends and or family.  May God bless
you greatly.  Now,  where can that lil
off switch be hiding this time?  Where
oh where can it be?  Hmm,  what’s that
I see behind our internet router??????
LOL Peekaboo,  I see you Hahahaha.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Pink Winter Dreams

Life is a moment
gathering hills
scenes so amazing
timeless fulfills.
Some days may be
as a rolling desire
pinkish of essence
in their entire.
Blissful winters
display as a dream
created with snow
and ice all agleam.
Some days glisten
until dark of night
with wondrous hue
of season’s delight.
Textured with life
of moments array
scented with peace
in a wonderful way.
As time ticks on
it leaves a view
often with colors
as dreamers ensue.
Many snowflakes
can gather around
and become colors
the sun shines down.
Yet as a shadow
of magical scenes
you might see some
pink winter dreams.

Hazy Shade of Blue

With life there’s death
that times unfold
as the minutes display
from young to old.
A sweet ocean breeze
becomes a gaze
as the seconds tick on
to future days.
A large ship at sea
might pass you by
as an ocean’s memoir
beneath a blue sky.
As clouds envelope
a true summer scene
the blue then becomes
as just but a thing.
Time is uncountable
as seamless views
with a touch of white
as minutes infuse
The blue seems to fade
as a cloud of time
becoming as a scene
of a poetic rhyme.
When looking deeply
into the sea air
you just might find
an answer to prayer.
It might be illusion
but a wonderful view
found as a blessing
a hazy shade of blue.

Illusions Begin

Cascading scenery
as winter and times
begins an illusion
that a dreamer finds.
Maybe a snowscape
or twigs thereunto
decide the perception
of a moments view.
It could be a version
of Christmas to see
as illusions begin
with a Christmas tree.
Yet with the minutes
that gather around
the illusions may be
what truth has found.
Time is the factor
of a Christmassy glow
not just an illusion,
but of billows of snow.
Moments might hide
mere whispers of love
found in the twigs
as a small turtle dove.
There might be trees
with a Christmas feel
scented of winter
a time so surreal.
So don’t stop looking
where illusions begin,
for they may be magic
for time to transcend.

With A Glance

Subsequent scenes
become as a dance
a time that displays
life with a glance.
Beyond our views
we might only see
what’s standing tall
before you and me.
Tomorrows minutes
might give a view
that now perceives
as not so true.
A sudden doorway
might open wide
letting in feelings
a moment applied.
Pouring as visions
of a lake of time
or grasses blowing
that fill up the mind.
Beyond what we see
might be a phase
found with a glance
of our yesterdays.
Tomorrows gather
together to create
a time within mind
of a future date.
We might envision
clouds floating by
life with a glance
in a true blue sky.
Yet as the stories
of life are discerned
we are with patterns
pages we’ve turned.
Written as memoirs
of season’s romance
time is a story of
us with a glance.

Alone in White

A sight of winter
stood to stare
finds a glimmer
scenic flair.
Alone in white
with not a fear
for guiding light
is always near.
You might feel
you have no one
as time proceeds
each setting sun,
but surely though
what is so true
God is there
for me and you.
Yet the moments
might seem dim
life of times
out on a limb.
Trudging through
will leave a trail
times we strove
to never fail.
For our stride
in seasons flow
might leave paths
in winter’s snow.
A Christmas scene
to much delight
shows some peace
alone in white.

Traveling Through

With shades of white
in wintertime’s hue
I found some tracks
just traveling through.
They formed a line
as a path to go
with train tracks seen
in Christmas snow.
Just traveling through
to another place
a seasonal time
with just but a trace.
The tracks had snow
that covered them well
and left just a sign
of a moment’s detail.
A train through life
just traveling through
to arrive at Christmas
in a day or two.
It gave a loud whistle
as it scurried along
on down the tracks
with a Christmas song.
Just like a story
from a picture book
it traveled through
with a wintery look.
The tracks came to life
with a magical view
as a Christmas tale
just traveling through.

Bench of Dreams

In summer’s skies
a dream comes true
a time and place
a wishful view.
The dream is white
of mere memories
of a time of life
within winter’s seas.
An ocean of snow
becomes the glance
inside the mind
as love’s romance.
The seasons share
their point of view
as ones look on
from old to new.
A Christmas scene
of white and wonder
fills the mind with
times to ponder.
A Bench of dreams
brings times alive
of winter sights
some minds contrive.
The essence sings
of dreams and more
as times of life
that I do adore.
Those snowy days
of Christmas scenes
can live within
a bench of dreams.

Looking On

 Sights we’ve seen
remembered well
our heartbeats find
that times compel.
As seasons change
and times move on
we might perceive
a distant dawn.
A time we found
some peace of mind
with glimmers of
a point and time.
While looking on
the path might show
a season’s stage
to come and go.
We each have scenes
remembered well
as books of life
a story to tell.
Many might see
a different view
as they look on
the same as you.
For as our pathways
gather sights
the views we see
shine different lights.
We each have views
on right and wrong
so choose your best
while looking on.

Feliz Navidad

With scents of winter
and snow of white
the season displays
a Christmassy sight.
Some dream of magic
as some look away
as essence of Christmas
comes closer each day.
Some in their greetings
say feliz Navidad
and others might say
that sounds a bit odd.
Some in their judgment
look down on a few
that say Merry Christmas
to me and to you,
but there are still many
that say it with love
either Spanish or English
the essence thereof.
So find in your heart now
the way to paraphrase
wordings for Christmas
in the merriest ways.
So say it in a heartfelt
truth from within
a Christmassy greetings
with love to transcend.
For either way it’s said
it’s a gift from God
merry Christmas friends
or feliz Navidad.

He’s Stood Fast

Our dog loves snow
and Christmastime.
He watches and waits
for a scenic design.
Our boy sits atop
of hills of snow
watching and waiting
for a HoHoHo.
Yes he’s stood fast
just looking around
hoping to hear that
Santa Claus sound.
He’s a little snow dog
that romps and plays
in wintery months
of snow filled days.
But the closer it comes
to Christmastime
it’s found that he has
a snow laden mind.
For as the moments
are shadows that cast
we find our boy
as he’s stood fast.

Haiku
for Dec 22,  2018

Tomorrows counted
are as many unhatched chicks
that might never hatch.

Losing faith in life
displays an moment’s doorway
leading to nowhere.

The need for money
can become a mere nightmare
if greed is attached.

Changing positions
can create much confusion
with new to be learned.

With just but a breath
one can blow away friendship
leaving just a gasp.

A wintery day
can become a painter’s task
to show on canvas.

Our choices vary
as our lifestyles may provide.
Choose what’s good for you.

Looking for true love
can find you many liars
that you must weed through.

Walking through autumn
you’ll see some signs of winter
with leaves falling down.

Skipping stones through life
can create a pond of grief
that causes ripples.

Now is only now,
for it is not tomorrow
and not yesterday.

As time moves along
it leaves traces of itself
hidden in shadows.

In search of flowers
that only bloom in springtime
can’t live in winter.

Choosing a lifestyle
that’s not intended for you
can find destruction.

Many sights and sounds
are as memories of ours
that we hear again.

Knocking on a door
without knowing what’s inside
needs you well prepared.

Beyond a viewpoint
might be many perceptions
that we do not see.

Swimming in a stream
can leave you fighting currents
that take you away.

Traipsing through a field
not watching where you’re going
might cause a stumble.

Within a window
holds the views that many want,
but cannot afford.

Counting your money
before you have paid your dues
can show illusions.

The scent of flowers
looms in the air of springtime
even in our dreams.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

I hope you have had a nice passed week.
Ours has been somewhat uneventful LOL.
Nothing much has changed aside from it
getting dark real early making it hard to
take any pictures.  In other words,  I did
not take any pictures this week aside from
a few blurry pictures that I took of some
houses with their Christmas lights.  I had
trouble taking the pictures being I had to
hold my breath so as to not breathe out
and blow condensation in front of the
camera LOL.  It was rather cold and my
hands were shaking too 🙂   No matter,  I
will just share last weeks pictures along
with a couple of the less blurry pictures
of Christmas lights.  Next topic.  Well,
I finally published my 9th book.  Yep,
it’s now for sale at Amazon.com along
with all of my others.  They would make
great Christmas gifts.  Anyways,  off of
that subject.  The weather has been back
and forth up this way.  It’s supposed to
snow tomorrow.  How much,  now that’s
a question that the weather channel can
never get right LOL,  for their predictions
usually change from day to day up until
the day that they are predicting hehehe.
It could be more snow or less snow than
they are predicting.  LOL we shall see.
Judy and I are enjoying the Christmas
season.  The snow outside makes it look
so Christmassy.  We are set to watch a
ton of Christmas movies 🙂  Judy just
woke up and came in here to join me
and the boys.  Benny and Rocky are
well.  They’re just as ornery as ever 🙂
There isn’t much else going on around
here.  I’m fixing Judy and I something
to eat for brunch right now.  Biscuits
with jam, eggs and sausage links.  The
biscuits will be ready in a few minutes
and then I can start buttering them and
putting strawberry jam in them.  It’s 4
in the afternoon now and it’s already
getting dark.  Yep,   for me to take any
pictures,  I’ve gotta get them early LOL.
I did take a few pictures outside our
front door earlier today.  It’s still white
outside 🙂  Oh yea,  Judy and I finished
with our brunch a while ago.  I enjoy
cooking for Judy and I.  We switch out.
She will often fix us dinner.  That’s the
way it should be.  Not always relying
on the other to do for you.  After I get
done writing,  I’m gonna head out to
the mailbox and see if we got any mail
yesterday.  I was busy writing most of
the day and Judy went to her sister’s
house for craft night.  Judy painted a
pretty picture that I am going to use
for a poetry picture.  I’ve already got
62 poetry pictures written for book 10.
Yes,  you can say it.  (Bill,   you write
a lot)!  Yep,  I write a lot.  It keeps my
mind in gear hehehe.  God has given
me the gift of poetry and stories and
I try my very best to use it.  We’ve all
got gifts from God,  but some may not
be aware of them yet and some have
chosen not to use them.  Don’t make
the error of looking at another and
comparing.  Every gift has its own
place in life and even the smallest of
gifts can stand out like a mountain.
We thank You God for all that You
have done for our families and for
us as we strive through life to do our
best.  We may fall from time to time,
but through You we have strength
to stand up again and continue on.
Now,  I do believe it’s time for me to
begin my journey back through all
that I’ve written here to see if I can
find a good word or phrase that I can
use for the title for today’s brand new
poem.  So,  it’s away I go,  to that lil
place of my recollection that I always
like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.
I think I may have found me a decent
title just about a 3rd of the way back
in my rambling.  Now to see if I can
do anything at all with it.  Here goes.

Looking At Another

Comparing ourselves
with someone you see
might become flawed
just a slight degree.
Looking at another
and deciding their style
might not see the frown
that’s hidden by a smile.
Often ones fearful
will only show you
the things that they wish
were really so true.
Yet ones perspective
can but only define
the sights that they see
as a moment in time.
Look now within you
and see what is there
and find what is true
as an answer to prayer.
Looking at another
and saying who they are
might not be so true
as inside may be a star.

Well,  there ya go.  I have spent my life
being judged by my appearance and not
by who I am.  There are many that are
dumbfounded to find out who I actually
was and the fact that I’m a poet and I’ve
been one for many decades.  There are
many that thought I was ignorant or
retarded,  but did not see my humorous
side.  Anyways,  I guess it’s time for me
to tell you what I tell you every week
and that is,  I wrote some more poetry
and haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more poems
with 1 extra with 9 Christmas poems in
the mix.  I hope you can find 1 or 2 of
either or both that you like.  Now,  I
do believe it’s time for me to begin my
search for that hardly elusive off switch,
but not before I wish you a wonderful
weekend or whatever’s left of it and a
truly blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  Now,
where can that cantankerous off switch
be hiding this week?  Hmm,  looking
around the room for something out of
place or moving when it shouldn’t be 🙂
Aha,  I see ya you little whippersnapper.
Hiding under the paper towel that I
brought in with the food.  It would of
been a good hiding spot if it were not
for all of the movement.  Could you
at least stay still for 5 or 10 minutes?
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Green With Envy

Times of wantings
times of greed
we often get what
we don’t need.
Envying others
and their own style
is often misjudging
someone’s smile.
Green with envy
over many things
can be confusions
hidden scenes.
You may not know
what’s going on
with ones we envy
of right or wrong.
They might not be
as happy and well
as you are seeing
if truly they’d tell.
The ones you envy
might surely be
with many struggles
that you can’t see.
So don’t be fooled
by someone’s life
for it might be
with tons of strife.
For they might just
be looking at you
green with envy
for all that you do.

Sorted Threads

Winters remembered
times long before
are now as the threads
to anew to explore.
Memories enlightened
as moments unwind
found as mirror
reflecting a time.
Many sorted threads
are tangles and weaves
a Christmassy essence
of all the mind sees.
Assorted viewpoints
becoming our dreams
seasons of memoirs
the greatest of things.
A wintertime photo
unleashes its view
within sorted threads
of old and anew.
It’s a heavenly feeling
that stays on the mind
as a Christmassy day
of a special design.
We all have moments
that live deep within
found in our memories
a time way back when.
Passages flavored as
times sorted threads
pouring as water
filling life’s riverbeds.
Leaving a small trace
of minutes that pass
textured as a moment
of our shadowy cast.
Then may seem illusion
that slowly drifts away
leaving sorted threads
in our day after day.

Dreamer’s Hue

Looking out to sea
with eyes opened wide
a dream of a moment
can then be applied.
Scented of the ocean
as waves crash ashore
time is but an essence
of a scene to explore.
A dreamer’s hue of life
that the sunshine shows
minutes turn to hours
each moment bestows.
Bright rays of sunshine
come melding within
giving a dreamer’s hue
a glimpse of the wind.
Time blowing briskly
as the sunshine displays
mildness of heartbeats
on warm summer days.
A dreamer’s hue grows
with the colors of time
becoming a melting pot
for eyes then to dine.
It is but as a dream
that a moment allows
giving all the pleasures
a dreamer’s hue endows.
So if you are searching
for a place of release
allow a dreamer’s hue
to picture some peace.

The Last Christmas Tree

There once was a time
that Christmas prevailed
showing everything
that the season entailed.
Christmas stockings hung
by the old fireplace
with the sight of children
and a winter’s embrace.
The tree stood decorated
waiting for the time
for Santa Clause to come
with his jolly frame of mind.
Putting presents under
the tree with many lights
scented with the aroma
of the Christmassy nights.
But yet on the wayside
of an old country road
there was a Christmas tree
with no ones abode.
It waited to be purchased
as Christmas passed by
then it leaned over
and just began to cry.
It was a beautiful tree
that ended up alone
just standing all by itself
without not a home.
Yet someone saw it
and purchased it as well
then the last Christmas tree
had a home then to dwell.

After Winter

The melting snow
of Christmas past
begins its show,
but not too fast.
It still displays
the scenic sights
after winter
days and nights.
Snow’s still found
in many places
Christmas scenes
of scenic traces.
For after winter
time moves on
leaving memories
dusk to dawn.
Times recorded
within our minds
after winter
great designs.
We remember that
Christmas cheer
the time of life
each passing year.
So many things
that we recall
a child of joy
a bouncing ball.
The melting snow
displays a sight
that’s after winter
less of white.

Season’s Cuisine

A snowy matinee
of a seasonal quest
shows but a time
it displays the best.
White snowy scenes
a glimmer of style
displays a time
of a wintery while.
Christmastime sights
in a wintertime way
become as a view
of a joyful display.
Snow flakes falling
become as a view
that’s piled so high
in life thereunto.
As a Christmas card
from heaven above
a season’s cuisine
is filled full of love.
It awakens hearts
that once had slept
and cheers the ones
that once has wept.
Seeming as magic
the snow falls down
flakes float sweetly
to land all around.
It is a Christmassy
moment of dream
found within winter
as season’s cuisine.

Afternoon’s Past

Latent memories
fall to the side
leaving a display
of a down hill ride.
The sun fades away
leaving little light
as afternoon’s past
sinks out of sight.
It seems as a recital
Christmas to come
afternoon’s past
and its sinking sun.
Snow laden scenes
as a tasty treat
a sight so magical
time can’t compete.
It becomes a story
a Christmas delight
as ones remember
a distinctive sight.
A journey with snow
in a Christmassy way
gets better each time
in its own display.
Afternoon’s past
of a seasonal style
transforms sadness
to a heartfelt smile
and then that smile
reflects on others
mothers and sisters
fathers and brothers.
This is a moment
that times transform
an afternoon’s past
to new days born.
Bringing alive hearts
that once were aghast
Christmastime scenes
in afternoon’s past.

Early Winter

Driving through stages
of wintertime’s view
displays many sights
with an essence of blue.
The sky is inviting
my eyes to perceive
all of the clouds
that winter did weave.
In a web of winter
comes scene’s delight
the beginning of times
all covered in white.
As an early winter
comes in with a task
it brings many moments
remembered from past.
Just like a life’s novel
that writers enhance
winter is emotions
as a song and dance.
Often as snowflakes
begin with a style
life brings alive then
a Christmastime smile.
A time in early winter
with its own cup of tea
flavored with snowflakes
that so many see.
Yet many people
only see in their dreams
a time of early winter
with white snowy scenes.

Beyond Memories

The life of time
creates its view
as minutes pass
from old to new.
Beyond memories
lifetimes unfold
a story a venture
that someone told.
Set in a picture
moments unwind
within memories
a timeless design.
Snow within view
of a wintery day
displays blessings
a Christmas array.
Stories of God
and Jesus His Son
brought us a life
for new days begun.
Found as a guide
to show us a path
a venture in time
from our aftermath.
Given as blessings
to teach us well
a heavenly journey
away from Hell.
A snow filled scene
with distant trees
brings life in view
beyond memories.

Crystal Sights

As roads lead on
the way they go
they might be found
with winter’s snow.
For as the seasons
are then and gone
those crystal sights
might then live on.
Wintertime’s days
become as a sight
a scene so serene
with snow of white.
It seems to speak
of wondrous things
Christmas sights
to fill our dreams.
A road of winter
passing through
becomes a life
with thereunto.
The snowflakes fall
and create a style
with crystal sights
for many a mile.
With a snowy touch
of whitish ways
it shows Christmas
for ones to gaze.
So within winter’s
days and nights
search for a sign
of the crystal sights.

Beauty of Christmas

Some only see
what winter displays
and do not see
the magical ways.
A sparkle of hope
comes alive within
as snow flakes fall
beginning to end.
They paint pictures
of Christmastime
as the artist above
is Lord God Divine.
Beauty of Christmas
is a sight to find
with maybe no snow,
but inside your mind.
Look for the gift
that the day prevails
as a magical time
the bible entails.
For even just a spark
of Heaven above
can bring alive
that Christmas love.
Allow for a breath
of Christmastime
to bring you alive
with blessings to find.
Beauty of Christmas
can give you a smile
with peace and love
of a Heavenly style.

Haiku
for Dec 15,  2018

Looking through windows
you might not hear any words
and sights are misread.

Life is like lightning
as it strikes when not ready
and gives us a jolt.

A field full of time
presents minutes as seconds
as hurry invades.

Need is misinformed
as wanting may take over
and tell you a lie.

With life there is death
that brings about more life
that is of spirit.

Challenges strengthen
as we grow stronger in stride
learning from errors.

Living in a lie
only causes suffering
for truth will be seen.

Flavors of ice cream
are as many types of life
and ones decisions.

Struggling through life
can either teach us better
or cause us to quit.

Beyond the starlight
holds another world to see
that time has hidden.

A fist full of cash
can’t truly make you happy,
for you soon want more.

Living in a dream
can often become nightmares
as life awakens.

Seeking for a goal
that is too far out of reach
can be your downfall.

Judging another
by what that you are seeing
might not show the facts.

Life is like snowflakes,
for time presents its chances
that might melt away.

When thinking too much
ones brain might become stagnant
with previous thoughts.

Counting your blessings
can help you to move forward
with a hopeful mind.

 So many minutes
slip past our daily travels
becoming unseen.

Change is much needed,
for we all become stagnant
when boredom strikes us.

The leaves of a tree
become as an hourglass
telling the seasons.

Xeroxing a frame
as your own reproduction
will not act the same.

If you cannot swim
don’t jump in the deep water,
for you might just drown.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

Well,  I’m back once again to ramble.
Last week was fairly peaceful as not
much went on.  Monday,  we went to
town and did a bit of grocery shopping
and paying bills after we got paid.  It
sucks getting paid only once a month,
but it’s better than the alternative of
not getting paid at all LOL.  So what
else is going on up this ways?  For one
thing,  it’s still white outside with tons
of snow.  I’m sure it will snow again
real soon.  The weather channel can
only guesstimate so there’s no definite
knowledge of when it will snow again.
It’s a toss up of Mr. Winter hehehehe.
Last night it got down to -2 degrees F.
We had to leave the faucets dribbling
a bit to prevent the water from freezing.
It might not of froze,  but no sense in
taking a risk.  I have been busy getting
our mailbox stood a bit stouter and
with some reflectors on it to try and
prevent it from getting knocked down
again by the snow plows.  My work
may have been in vain though hehehe.
We shall see 🙂  I have yet to of begun
formatting my poems for book 9 yet,
but I will LOL.  I might try to get to
work on it tomorrow a little.  Though
once I begin,  I have the problem with
not quitting until I am done Hahaha.
So what else is going on around this
place?  Well,  I had an appointment
with my NEW PA (wanna be doctor)
last Thursday and it looks as though
nothing has changed accept of course
my PA,  being it seems that every time
I go,  I have a different one and if it
happens again I am just going to quit
and when I need anything,  I’ll go to
the walk in clinic LOL.  I am sick and
tired of having to repeat myself to each
nut case to fill them in about me and
my health issues and it looks as though
she may be gone as well being she was
very pregnant and might not return.
I don’t care.  It’s not like they can do
anything for my health.  Actually the
only thing I need a doctor or whatever
for is to prescribe Ventolin and Advair
for me.  I am set with them now until
May so it will be after then that I will
be needing another prescription.  Life
goes on 🙂  So,  what else is going on
around The Pearce’s Place?  Well,  it’s
beginning to look a lot like Christmas,
everywhere we go.  The snow is on the
ground as we take our trips to town
and when we get there we see many
things LOL.  Oops,  sorry hehehehe.
Judy and I love to look through the
Christmas aisles at Walmart as well as
Dollar Tree hehehe.  I wish we had
more money so we could afford to buy
gifts for the whole family,  but we can
only buy for our grandchildren.  Oh
well,  Christmas isn’t about all that we
can buy for ones.  It’s about Jesus and
His birth.  LOL it’s also a popular day
for Santa Claus HoHoHo.  Anyways,
we’re going to have a great Christmas
I can feel it.  God has surely blessed
our little home as well as our lives 🙂
I know things don’t always go as well
as we would want them and at times
they even go very badly,  but we will
survive as God gives us strength to
make it through our many struggles.
I reckon it’s time for me to begin my
journey back through all that I have
written here to see if I can find a good
word or phrase that I can use for the
title for today’s brand new poem.  So,
it’s away I go to that little place of my
recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I found
a fairly decent title about a 3rd of the
way back in my rambling.  Now to see
if I can do anything with it.  Here goes.

Needing Another

When in the middle
of a destination
time might display
some devastation.
A time with fear
and fate in disguise
losing a loved one
with sad good byes.
We might be found
we’re needing another
a heart of a life
to carry us further.
That’s when a friend
comes into play
to give us strength
for another day.
We might still find
we’re needing another
a sister in life
or yet of a brother.
To help us along
a roller coaster ride
a time of life
we’re empty inside.
So allow Jesus
the true best friend
when needing another
to help you transcend.

There ya go.  I hope you liked the poem
a little.  Also I hope you enjoyed all my
rambling LOL.  I know,  it was sort of
BORING hahaha.  No matter,  It gave
ya something to keep you busy hehehe.
I fixed Judy and I some oatmeal for a
belated breakfast.  Eating it now LOL.
I just saw in my weather program that
it’s supposed to start snowing in a few
moments and thought,  I didn’t put our
windshield wipers up and ran out to do
that and found that they were already
frozen to the windshield LOL.  I had
to break the ice and spray them down
with deicer to get them free.  Now they
are up LOL.  It can snow all it wants
to now hehehe.  Last night when we
let the boys out to go potty,  Rocky
didn’t want to come back in for some
reason.  I found out that it was due
to him having a poopy butt,  so we
got him inside and I took him in the
bathroom and washed his butt and
then trimmed the hair around his
behind so to lessen the chances of
that happening again for a while 🙂
He was happy that I did that.  You
could see it in his strut hehehehehe.
I had thought it weird that Rocky
wasn’t ready to come back inside 🙂
Benny is normally the one that wants
to stay outside and play in the snow.
No matter,  the problem has been
resolved 🙂  Now Rocky is back to
his barking at the front door being
the first to be ready to come back
inside LOL.  So I guess it’s time for
me to tell you what I tell you every
week and that is,  I wrote some more
poems and haiku.  Yeppers 10 more
poems with 1 extra and there are 9
Christmas poems in the mix.  Also,
I wrote 22 more haiku for all of the
haiku lovers out there.  I hope you
can find 1 or 2 of either or both that
you like.  Now I believe it’s time for
me to begin my search for that silly
hardly elusive off switch,  but surely
not before I wish you a wonderful
weekend or whatever’s left of it and
a blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too….
Now,  where can that off switch be
hiding this time????  Hmmm,  does
my eye deceive me or am I seeing my
little Animal figurine dancing LOL.
Nope,  I see correctly hehehe.  Did
ya get bored waiting for me to find
you?   LOL Try a little patience 🙂
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzz.

Tranquillity

Dreams of a moment
begin with a time
a place you remember
that lives in your mind.
Maybe a dreamworld
that you wish to be
as a time and a place
so happy and free.
Sitting on a bench
that’s laden with snow
dreaming of a time
that was so long ago.
Finding tranquillity
in a winter white day
begins then within
in a magical way.
The whiteness of snow
that’s gathered around
can bring your dreams
right then to be found.
Scented with aromas
of a Christmassy world
textured with snowflakes
as moments unfurled.
Tranquilizing sadness
and illuminating smiles
will give you hopeful
as prayerful compiles.
A Christmastime essence
of a moment you see
can be the thing
to give you tranquillity.

Midmorning Christmas

Crispness in the air
of a wintertime’s day
brings forth emotions
of a Christmassy way.
Midmorning glimmers
of a seasonal hue
displays the fractions
of a wonderful view.
A moment of grandeur
as a season’s delight
becomes a dream world
for time to ignite.
It may seem as a story
of a wintertime tale
as morning’s arrival
and snowflakes set sail.
You might find a dream
that becomes so real
midmorning Christmas
that moments reveal.
Scented as snowflakes
and pictured as bliss
tinted of morning
with a wintertime kiss.
Life begins moving
as the day’s begun
bringing the glimmers
of a seasonal sun.
This is but a story
that a picture displays
midmorning Christmas
of wintertime’s days.

Light of Day

With the arrival of snow
in a scenery glance
time brings to mind
what snowflakes enhance.
A pageant of feelings
displays with a cue
a Christmastime day
with a magical view.
Many miss moments
that lifetimes explore
choosing not to see
what they may adore.
Within the light of day
comes a radiant sight
a time that enhances
with snow of white.
Thoughts become life
as a scene displays
the Christmastime view
of wintertime’s days.
Don’t be one to miss it
the sight so sublime.
Take time for a view
of the seasons design.
Snowflakes of Christmas
have a special chemistry
that brings to life love
in the things that we see.
Look beyond greediness
and look for a way
to find joy in Christmas
in the light of day.

Christmas Morning

It was a night to remember
with snow on the ground
sights of pure splendor
and love all around.
A child stayed up late
on a Christmas eve night
to attempt to hear Santa
on his magical flight.
He heard some jingling
from the roof up above
then looked out the window
with eyes full of love.
He wanted to go outside,
but went back to bed
and listened real closely
to hear what Santa said.
He heard the cracking whip
and jingling of bells
 as he bid them goodbye
in his Christmas farewells.
The child listened closer
to try then to hear
the sound of old Santa
and all his reindeer.
The child went to sleep
and dreamed of the night
the time he stayed up late
to hear Santa’s flight.
Then Christmas morning
he awoken with glee
and ran down the stairs
to the Christmas tree.
He searched for presents
from old Santa Claus
as he joyfully gave him
a Christmas applause
This is just a story
about a child’s delight
found Christmas morning
after Christmas eve night.

A Simple Dream

The simpler times
we find so great
are times of life
of another date.
Those distant years
with us so small
a simple dream
stood oh so tall.
Those great days
of simple sights
the times we recall
in snow of white.
Christmas scenes
in great detail
the simple things
our hearts compel.
With just a sight
of a time or two
a simple dream
can come in view.
Just like a page
from a storybook
a Christmas theme
gives another look.
Alive and well
with pages turned
our eyes may seem
a bit concerned.
For as we look at
a Christmas theme
we then remember
a simple dream.

Just A Time

With life there’s times
we might forget
the moments found
much better yet.
They might be a time
we’ve just forgotten
a wintery scene
with snow of cotton.
It might be a season
a Christmassy day
found just a time
in a magical way.
The stages were there
with wintery themes
images of Christmas
found as our dreams.
Yet as time passes
in seasonal skies
life is remembered
in a dreamers eyes.
Movement of seconds
becomes as a sight
seen as our journeys
day unto night.
Those special days
of Christmas desires
burn in our hearts as
life’s raging fires.
Yet as we look back
we often will find
glorious moments
as not just a time.

God Lives Within

As a home stands firm
in a snow covered ground
God lives within it
and all there around.
Yet there are many that
push Him away
and leave Him outside
their day after day.
Ones cold perception
and times empty heart
makes life a doorway
for Hell to impart.
Some within Christmas
will often lose sight
of what that the season
should shine so bright.
The love for The Father
and His only Son
that helps us in struggles
before they’ve begun.
Life might have burdens,
but it also has prayer
with blessings arrival
of God’s love and care.
Allow for the moments
to become better still
leaving all the sadness
on yesterday’s hill.
Life is but a journey
for us to begin
and find in our hearts
that God lives within.

A Child’s View

When winter’s upon us
with tons full of snow
time displays children
with hearts all aglow.
Their view is a dream
of which they can feel
as a time on a mound
of a snow laden hill.
Inside of their minds
are scenes of style
the times that awaken
as snowflakes compile.
The magic is a blessing
that comes from the skies
as it floats from Heaven
to land in their eyes.
A child’s view is sweet
as a blessing of time
found as a painting
inside of their mind.
Christmas is a moment
that they can find dreams
wanting old Santa
to bring many things.
A child plays happily
in cold Christmas snow
waiting for the day
for time to bestow.
Dreaming of old Santa
in the nights thereunto
as Christmas enhances
to show a child’s view.

Lifetimes Expose

Just like a flower
that life displays
moments become
of another phase.
A simple change
within our view
can bring to life
a time so anew.
For as a flower
may one day die
it is remembered
as life’s apple pie.
Seen for a moment
to then fade away
leaving memories
for yet another day.
Time’s its window
that minutes accrue
bringing the stages
for many to view.
Life is a challenge
that times enhance
some as a flower
some as romance.
Look on beyond
what time bestows
and find a flower
our lifetimes expose.

Sunrise Stage

Days of peace
and mindful prayer
a sunrise stage
gives breath of air.
As life moves on
and times begin
a sunrise stage
brings seasons wind.
With each minute
and gathered hue
a sunrise stage
shows what is true.
Maybe blue skies
or maybe rain
a sunrise stage
shows times attain.
A fisherman’s quest
with rod and reel
a sunrise stage
gives times to feel.
Within the artwork
of summer’s sky
a sunrise stage
has much to apply.
It’s with gleaming
and essence of time
the sunrise stage
shows peace of mind.
Many a pattern
gathers so true
in a sunrise stage
for us to view.
So often as shadows
or our memories
a sunrise stage
has a moment’s keys.
Found as a blessing
the turn of a page
we can find peaceful
in a sunrise stage.

Envisioning Christmas

White as a memory
scenes come and go
times we remember
smiles that we know.
Envisioning Christmas
in a scenic detail
brings alive doorways
snowflakes set sail.
A time passing by us
that displays a view
awakening portions
of a dream come true.
Envisioning a moment
that’s clear to see
a time we remember
in our history.
Driving in the country
just looking around
seeing many things
as snowflakes fall down.
A Christmas recital
that begins with a phase
a moment envisioned
of some magical days.
Such as a snowscape
a Christmassy sight
or a wintertime feeling
that you so delight.
Envisioning Christmas
as a wonderful time
can then unlock it
inside of your mind.

Haiku
for Dec 8,  2018

So many journeys
begin with only a thought
that some never see.

Time is an ocean
that rocks many ships to sleep
and lands them ashore.

Peace is a concept
that so many misconceive
and then start a war.

Looking out windows
you might see versions of life
that you wish were yours.

Lost in a doorway
that spins in revolutions
inside might be out.

Gazing at the sun
as it sinks slowly from view
you might lose yourself.

So many lessons
are gathered through a few dares
that were ignorant.

Knowing what’s better
and still living in a lie
you will hurt many.

Each breath that we breathe
has a affect on others
as a domino.

Traveling through life
without seeking for a guide
can leave you broken.

Time’s always ticking
even when we’re not moving,
so don’t fool yourself.

Perception is ours
as we each choose our pathways
to Hell or Heaven.

A space flight through time
finds many stars in motion
that can hold our dreams.

Exploring choices
gives us possibilities
to greaten our minds.

Some things are our gifts
as others are our talents
that we’ve learned to do.

A flower will die
even when it is watered
if it’s not cared for.

Now is just a time
that has arrived through moments
we might not of seen.

Discerning our lives
many view from the outside
while just looking in.

A starry evening
puts forth many dreams to have,
so let the day rest.

Belonging to one
is often misconception,
for we are not owned.

Beyond the starlight
holds dreams to become alive
within our slumber.

Now is to cherish
for it is a lesson learned
no matter how small.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been another wintery week as the
days of November said their goodbye.
Yeppers,  December is here and snow
is on the ground.  It’s snowing right at
this very moment.  Judy went with her
sisters yesterday to be with her brother
in ICU at the Bangor hospital.  They
were worried about him.  Ricky had
become unresponsive.  He soon came
out of it when the sisters arrived and
Judy said he even talked quite a bit 🙂
They stayed at the hospital last night
so they could talk to the doctor this
morning and hear what he had to say,
but they had to head back home after
that to try and beat the snow that was
coming and they almost did hehehe.
Yep,  She’s home now and we sat and
watched a video together for a little
while,  but soon Judy’s eyes were
closing.  She didn’t get any sleep at
the hospital and so she headed to bed.
I figured I’d get an early start on my
journal while she was sleeping.  Benny
and Rocky were very happy to see her.
LOL every time they heard a sound
they would go to front door thinking
it was Judy/mom 🙂  Yep,  they missed
their mom.  They were good boys and
didn’t give me too much trouble.  LOL,
it’s a good thing I remembered to put
our windshield wipers up so that they
don’t freeze to the windshield.  What
I mean by put them up is to raise them
up so they are not on the windshield.
Otherwise they tend to get frozen to
the windshield in this type of weather.
So what else is going on around this
place?  Hmm,  well,  our mailbox is
still standing.  I put some reflectors
on it so that the snowplows could see
it LOL.  I put the reflectors on both
sides of it.  Red and yellow reflectors.
Now hopefully it won’t get hit as often.
I just went out and took a picture of
our car with the windshield wipers
sticking up out of the snow and I’ll
put it in my stationery for all of you
that are getting the stationery version
of my journal LOL.  It’ll show ya what
I mean when I say putting them up 🙂
Anyways,  next topic.  I have been
enjoying the snow and taking loads of
pictures 🙂  I just now heard the snow
plow going down the road.  They are
good about keeping the roads cleared.
I guess I need to get on the ball and
start working on getting book number
9 published.  Maybe this week I’ll get
started working on a cover photo
and the inside front and back of the
book and then begin formatting it.
I’ve already written 40 poetry pictures
for book 10 hehehe.  I have started
handing out my business cards in hopes
of them helping me to sell my books 🙂
If they don’t then at least I tried.  You
never know unless you try.  Anyways,
life is still filled with blessings.  It’s
the Christmas season and we love it.
The snow makes it even more beautiful.
When I was a little boy I would always
wish for snow for Christmas,  but it
never happened.  Now we have it every
year 🙂  It might not snow Christmas
Eve or Day,  but there is always snow
on the ground 🙂  Yep,  I love it,  but
I wish I had some friends to share it
with.  I know my mom and sister would
never want to be here with all of this
snow LOL.  We are much different in
that manner.  I have always preferred
cold weather over hot weather being
I’m hot natured in the weirdest way 🙂
I went through the bedroom to get
me some more orange juice and Judy
is still sleeping.  She woke up for a
moment and asked me if the boys
were still outside.  LOL I said nope
Rocky started barking saying he was
ready to come back in a while ago and
Benny came in with him.  Benny loves
the snow and only wants come in when
he can’t handle the cold anymore or
he’s hungry hehehe,  but he will come
in if we holler for him.  Well,  there’s
not much else to tell ya.  Our lives up
here are quite simple.  We have been
enjoying our new 55 inch TV hehehe.
It’s a smart TV and has a lot great
things on it.  It’s a Christmas gift to
us from us 🙂  God has blessed us with
each other and these boys of ours as
well as our families and friends.  Yes
our home has been blessed.  Thank
You Lord for all that You have done
for us and all that You will do.  We
love You.  Now I reckon it’s time for
me to start my search back through
all that I’ve written here to see if I can
find a good word or phrase that I
can use for the title for today’s brand
new poem.  So,  it’s away I go,  to
that place of my recollections that I
like to call RECOLLECT VILLE 🙂
I believe I found a halfway decent
title just a few lines back.  Now to
see if I can do anything with it LOL.
Here goes…

For All

With the life we live
comes a time to see
what that’s blossomed
from you and me.
For all have sinned
and left a trail
that may lead to Heaven
or may lead to Hell.
We’ve each had flaws
to come in place,
but for all have chance
to be saved by grace.
Allowing our errors
to become well learned
lessons of a lifetime
that we have earned.
For all there is hopeful
and chance to change
making a doorway
to then rearrange.
Finding the answers
in yesterdays fall
God gives the chances
for one and for all.

So,   there ya go.  I hope you liked the
poem and maybe it even spoke to you.
Also I hope that you enjoyed all of my
rambling hehehe.  Judy’s still asleep.
I might fix us something to eat in a bit
and then wake her unless she wakes up
before I get it done or even begin LOL.
It looks as though I have told you all
that there is to tell this week.  So now
it’s time for me to tell you what I tell
you every week and that is,  I wrote
some more poems and haiku.  Yep 10
more poems with 4 Christmas poems
in the mix.  I also wrote 22 more haiku
for all of the haiku lovers out there.
I hope you can find 1 or 2 of either or
both that you like.  Now to begin my
search for that hardly elusive off switch,
but not before I wish you a blessings
filled weekend or whatever’s left of it
and also wish you blessings filled week.
Remember,  Jesus loves you and we
do too.  Now,  where can that silly off
switch be hiding this time hehehehe?
Oh for Heaven’s sake,  couldn’t you
find a better hiding spot.  My nose
spray bottle is hardly the size for you
to hide behind.  I could see ya sticking
out on either side of the darn thing.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky

Winter’s Sea

Waves of snow
displayed in time
became a view
for me to find.
It seemed a sea
of whitish phase
a time divine
for me to gaze.
This winter’s sea
a Christmas sight
had come alive
in morning’s light.
It brought scenes
alive and well
of winter’s sea
as a story to tell.
A home drifted
above its waves
this winter scene
of Christmas days
It was a time
that came in view
of winter’s sea
from old to new.
The snow of white
was drifting on
creating sights
to look upon.
A magical time
so Christmassy
was found one day
as winter’s sea.

Abstract Scenes

Flowers of life
of a colorful view
might be envisioned
as a magical hue.
Maybe as dandelions
with purplish tint
painted on paper
of a certain extent.
Abstract scenes
of a delicate time
as ones imagined
inside of their mind.
A painter displays
what surely breathes
purple dandelions
with greenish leaves.
Maybe yet another
is hidden inside
as abstract scenes
a painter applied.

Thinking Of A Time

Moments remembered
as passed days dreams
bring to mind echoes
of wonderful scenes.
Thinking of a time
I remember so well
that rings in my mind
as a story to tell.
For when I was younger
I envisioned life
filled full of blessings
and lesser of strife.
Thinking of a time
that my life tore apart
leaving me with only
a life’s broken heart.
Times I was stubborn
with a wanting way
and not hearing all that
my daddy had to say.
He warned me of life
and what I didn’t know,
but I continued on
with my own way to go.
I can now remember
how we each found peace
as God brought us closer
for a moments release.
Thinking of a time
that a moment bestowed
comes to me often when
riding down the road.

Winter’s Crisp

Trees that glisten
snow of white
seasons threshold
times delight
bring the essence
into view
the signs of times
of winter’s brew.
Snowy shadows
times display
bring the likes of
Christmas day.
Holding measures
such a gleam
as winter’s crisp
a certain dream.
Cold air blowing
through the trees
enhancing scenes
as snowy seas.
Life’s portrayal
is in detail
the times we see
the snow set sail.
The sky displays
the snow to fall
flakes of life
to cover all.
Then the season
makes a list
Christmas scenes
as Winter’s crisp.

Life Within

Living souls
will still survive
as hearts cease
to do their drive.
Our life within
is found in place
gifts from God
His saving grace.
Some may doubt
the path to go
and be surprised
of Heaven’s flow.
A grave may seem
to be of death,
but holding true
ones earthly breath.
As our memories
surely thrive
the life within
will still survive.
God gives blessings
timeless true
for when we pass
we’ll start anew.
Leaving shadows
passed days gone
as our spirits
then live on.
Heaven’s doorway
we shall find
life within
unending time.

Tossing Your Line

Take a little time
to find you a view
found within time
that lives within you.
Look on beyond
a distant shore
and find that of life
to live evermore.
Allow for a breath
of life’s ocean waves
to become as a view
to better your days.
By tossing your line
in a dreamers style
you can find peace
inside of a smile.
Losing your frowns
in a dreamers sea
you can find smiles
that will set you free.
Take a little time
to breathe in anew
a time to remind
what can be with you.
Tossing your line
to an oceans depth
you can then breathe
of a magical breath.
Find all your passion
in a prayerful mind
by not giving up then,
but tossing your line.

Taste of Magenta

An evening sky
brings my life awake
a time that I find
my eyes partake.
A purplish hue
with a bit of red
a taste of magenta
up above my head.
It’s as a dreamland
and ocean of color
displayed in time
unlike no other.
It came to life
as a storybook
a taste so deserving
I took another look.
It was as flavors
a taste for my eyes
with different shades
in magical skies.
The taste consumed
my mind that day
with evenings glance
a purplish way.
A magenta skyline
as moments emotions
drifting up above
as heavenly oceans.
A taste of magenta
begins its view
high up above me
with hint of blue.

Santa’s Flight

A night to remember
brings into view
the sight of old Santa
with reindeer that flew.
Flying across the sky
in his Christmas sleigh
hidden from our eyes
in a magical way.
He’s in the moonlight
with jingling bells
that seems as music
our story foretells.
Children fast asleep
and dreaming so sweet
thoughts of old Santa
his HoHo to greet.
They dream of his flight
through wintery skies
and some stay up late
to try to surprise.
Attempting to capture
a glimpse of his suit
and all of his reindeer
their nighttime pursuit.
Yet Santa’s ready
to be gone with the wind
as he leaves all the gifts
too quick to apprehend.
Then, soon to the stars
and the bright moonlight
he continues onwards
it is Santa’s flight.

Following Trails

Footsteps walking
and headed through
might then one day
get the best of you.
Not asking questions
where we’re to go
we might encounter
what we don’t know.
Headed through time
as our journeys begin
life opens doorways
going out and back in.
Look for the signs
of the different arrays
to guide you truly
to much better days.
Don’t just hurry in
without any clue
of what there might be
just waiting for you.
When following trails
you might not perceive
the reasons ones left
no reason to leave.
So when the minutes
show times to embark
don’t let your hurry to
leave you in the dark.
Seek for guidance
that a moment entails
and then maybe go on
following trails.

The Christmas Place

With Christmas coming
the minutes will find
a place where Santa
finds peace of mind.
He searches high
and he searches low
the Christmas place
in winter’s snow.
A place he conceived
to help him along
with a jingling essence
as a Christmas song.
Old Santa survives
the cold winter’s wind
so to bring toys
that wishes did send.
The Christmas place
gives a glowing sign
a place that can help
with Christmastime.
It helps with deliveries
as Santa flies by
landing to gather gifts
and then again fly.
Santa continues on
his year round conquest
delivering the presents
before any rest.
He gives to the children
with good they embrace
as he continues on from
the Christmas place.

Haiku
for Dec 1,  2018

Without any breath
there can be no one breathing
so look for a sign.

Chance is a moment
that comes and goes throughout life
so make good of it.

Life is decisions
filled with directions to go
and lessons we learn.

Lost in a storm cloud
you might choose the wrong answers
and make things much worse.

The leaves of autumn
are as greeters for winter
to welcome the snow.

Seen through binoculars
things might seem to be closer
so look with your eyes.

Beyond what we see
there might be sights well hidden
that could surprise us.

Life is an echo
of the yesterdays of passed
reverberation.

Changes in our lives
begin with changes in our thoughts
becoming actions.

Ongoing turnstiles
become as many tempters
to attract our minds.

Heavy is water
that has depth of an ocean
and waves of lifetimes.

Behind a good man
there might be some illusions
that you’ll never know.

Our sought after dreams
can become many nightmares
if we’re not careful.

Throughout existence
life can become as echoes
that we need to hear.

Challenge can be bad
if you’re lacking in knowledge
of what you’re doing.

Seeking illusions
will guaranty emptiness
for it’s just a dream.

Paved are our feelings
that may have a few potholes
from our excursions.

Looking to the stars
you might discover yourself
as you reminisce.

Portions of a field
may hold many hidden weeds
they we cannot see.

Guessing ones lifestyles
using their clothes as a gauge
could give false answers.

Our recollections
might be clouded perception
that we remember.

With each passing day
leaves a portion of ourselves
founds within regrets.
