ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

I hope your week and weekend were well.  A new week is
in the making hehehe.  Of course tomorrow,  many won’t
go to work being it’s Labor Day.  Judy and I will be doing
as always being we’re both retired.  The weather hasn’t
been too bad lately.  The temperature has been going up
and down a bit,  but nothing drastic.  We’ve been worried
about Milo being he’s lost his hearing,  but I have been
putting animal eardrops in his ears to flush them out and
his hearing is coming back.  He can hear me and is now
on our bed watching Pink Panther cartoons hehehe.  He
seems to know that I am trying to help him,  so he doesn’t
raise too much of a fuss when I doctor his ears :).  He’s
our oldest boy and we love him and Benny just like our
children.  LOL we went for a walk in the field the other
day and when coming back home,  he started running
for our neighbors house that also has a white SUV LOL.
I tried to get his attention by yelling his name,  but he
couldn’t hear me,  so I had to run and try to get him to
see me and then he saw our SUV and realized he was
headed the wrong way.  Yet,  now after doctoring his ears
when I call him,  he comes,  but his hearing is still very
weak.  I think he has a build up of ear wax or something.
No matter,  if it doesn’t get much better,  we’ll take him
to the vet again and see what she has to say about it.
Ok so what else is going on around this place other
than the regular stuff.  Judy’s over at her sisters house
taking care of her mother as she does every Sunday.
Not much change there.  Right now I’m trying to avoid
rolling over Milo’s tail being he has parked himself
right freaking under my chair AGAIN hehehe.  Ok,  so
he has finally moved a bit and relocated his tale LOL.
Now I can continue writing hehehe.  There’s a lot of
clouds over our area and it looks like we might get a
little rain.  Right now at 2:30 PM it’s 73 F degrees.
It’s supposed to be in the mid 70’s for maybe the rest
of the week which isn’t all that bad :).  Next week it
might start getting a bit cooler though.  We might get
some rain tonight and on into Wednesday.  I’ve always
said,  when it stops snowing up here,  the rains begin
and of course visa versa LOL.  It rains on some days
that there isn’t even any rain in the forecast hehehe.
The same with snow LOL.  So we’ve come to expect
the unpredicted :).  Believe it or not,  I’m ready for it
to snow.  Of course I know that after a few months of
it I’ll be sick of it,  but I always look forward to the
first good snowflakes.  If Benny could talk,  I’m sure
he would say the very same aside from the fact that
he NEVER gets tired of snow hehehe.  When it all
starts melting away,  he will be seen in search of a
little snow to sit and play in LOL.  He’s just a little
silly,  but then so am I hehehe.  Like father like son.
Milo on the other hand could care less about the
snow.  He does though get out and play in it from
time to time,  but not anything like Benny and me :).
So before winter gets here,  we are waiting for fall.
Judy and I love to go and take pictures of the fall
colors wherever we can find them.  We usually have
a lot of colors to take pictures of right outside our
front/back door being our house is facing the field.
Yeppers even the snow scenes are magical as the
snow on the distant trees shimmer in the sunlight.
In any case,  we both like to take pictures.  I might
like to just a tad bit more than Judy though hehehe.
Oh yea,  there’s one thing that’s new day and that
is,  it’s my birthday.  I turned 58 today.  LOL it
sounds like I went bad huh!  I turned.  Anyways,
Judy won’t be home until around 9 or 10 tonight
so me and the boys will celebrate together.  Judy
and I might find something for us and the boys to do
to celebrate when she gets home.  We might don
the party hats LOL.  This morning I made us some
EGGO’s and sausage for breakfast before she
headed out to take care of her mom.  Judy helped
me fix breakfast by getting out some plates and
all :).  It’s not like making EGGO’s and sausage is
hard LOL.  Ya just need a toaster and microwave 🙂
and of course some butter and syrup to put on the
waffles LOL.  So that was pretty much our morning
before she headed off into the mornings sunrise
in our galloping steed the Phantom hehehehehehe.
I almost heard her exclaim,  Hi Ho Phantom and
away LOL.  Naw,  but really she did back out of
our driveway hehehe.  Benny and me watched as
she drove off.  The boys have gotten used to her
weekly schedule.  Benny doesn’t raise a fuss like
he used to :).  BUT,  when he hears the car pulling
in the driveway,  he goes ballistic and I don’t even
have to look to know that Judy is home hehehehe.
Yep,  we live a sort of repetitious life up here.  Not
much changes except the date LOL.  Oh yea,  and
the TV programs that we like to watch hehehehe.
We do like to watch our TV programs together :).
It’s not the greatest life,  but it makes us smile.
God managed to find two people from across the
map of 2100 miles and put them together.  Love
knows no distance.  Judy and I do have a few bad
days,  but who doesn’t!  Life is about the good times
and the bad,  for the bad times make the good times
that much more exciting.  Remember,  if you’ve
never been sick,  then you don’t really know what
it is to be well.  You learn to appreciate a breath
of air,  or a sky of blue even more so when you
have been sick for a while.  Look passed the bad
times and find the good that’s exposed.  So many
blessings go unnoticed until we have experienced
life without them.  Don’t let life pass you by without
taking the time to see and smell the roses.  Ok,  so
I guess it’s time for me to be taking my little trip
back through all that I’ve written here to see if
I can find a word or phrase that I can use for the
title for today’s brand new poem.  So,  it’s away
I go to that place of my recollection that I always
like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I found
a good title near the first of my rambling and now
after checking I see that I have not used it YET.
And so here goes nothing hehehe.  Maybe so LOL

Shimmer Of Sunlight

With every morning
comes shimmering light
after the darkness
found deep in the night.
A shimmer of sunlight
comes shining on through
when morning wakes up
to greet me and you.
With every shimmer
of sunlight that comes
the morning gives us
what nighttime succumbs.
Within each minute
of ticking times way
a shimmer of sunlight
will welcome each day.
Scenes found so wondrous
as God’s Holy Hue
a shimmer of sunlight
is for me and you.

Ok,  there ya go.  I know it’s not much,  but I did my
best hehehe.  I started to write a birthday poem,  but
thought to myself,  Hey,  it’s my birthday,  somebody
else write it LOL.  Yea,  I know,  it ain’t gonna happen,
but the doors open hehehe.  So,   what else is there to
tell you that I failed to mention in my rambling section?
Hmm,  can’t think of nothing.  It’s not raining yet,  but
it looks like it could any time now.  Milo’s still lying in
the floor,  but he has moved over a bit which gives me
a little room hehehe.  Benny is in the living room sat
upon his favorite recliner guarding the house while he
waits for Judy to come home.  He’s got quite a long
wait ahead of him LOL.  It’s only 4 PM and she might
not get home until maybe 9 PM.  So,  we’ve got quite
a lot of guy/Animal time until then hehehe.  I want
to ask for some prayers for my good friend Jennifer.
She is having health issues that are wearing on her
from the removal of cancer a while back.  Jen,  God
is in control.  Just do your best to follow the doctors
advice and leave it in God’s Hands.  I love ya gal :).
Ok so I guess it’s time for me to be telling you what
I tell you every week and that is,  I wrote some more
poems and haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more poems with
one of them being sort of Christmassy.  I actually
wrote 11 poems,  being I got inspired by one of our
old photos of me kneeling down in our yard filled with
daffodils back in May of this year hehehehehehe.
Also,  one of the poems is to Judy.  Yes,  of course
I wrote 22 more haiku for all of my haiku lovers out
there.  I hope you find one or two of either or both
that you like and take with you in life.  Now,  I do
believe it’s time for me to be searching for that
not so elusive off switch,  but not before I wish
you a most wonderful weekend or what’s left of
it and a blessings filled week.  Now,  where is that
off switch trying to hide this week,  or more to the
point,  not trying too freaking hard to hide hehehe?
Aha,  I think I’ve spotted you ya little varmint :).
Trying to hide in Milo’s hair might of worked if
ya hadn’t been making him itch and me seeing you
trying to dodge his paws/toenails hehehehehehehe.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce
and of course Benny and Milo 🙂

Now on with the poems and haiku
10+1 and 22 hehehehehehehehehe 🙂

A Sweet Field of Style

With every dandelion
of a yellow paradise
I see so clearly
their beauty precise.
Painted as morsels
for my eyes to see
now unto then
through my history.
Lifestyles of yellow
with grass to compile
finds now my eyesight
a sweet field of style.
Described in my minds eye
while knelt on my knees
I see the beauty
as yellowish seas
A sweet field of style
that Heaven has sent
has a so wonderful
yellowish tint.
Seasonal pages
turn one by one
a sweet field of style
found under the sun.
Scenes mesmerizing
a wonderful while
I am found kneeling in
a sweet field of style.

Highs and Lows

When in the whirlwinds
of troublesome days
many will find they’re
lost in a gaze.
The highs and lows
that many perceive
are often doorways
that timeframes will weave.
For with the moments
that come into view
the highs and lows will
be there so true.
Sometime it’s us that
see things so wrong
when it seems low
what’s high and so strong.
Trees of perception
branch out and sway
the highs and lows
of day after day.
We are the seers
sometimes as we’ve chose
while we are finding
our highs and lows.

Morning Dew

The dawning of summer
comes at a glance
bringing my heartbeat
into a trance.
The birds singing sweetly
of the new day
is with some dew drops
found on display.
The days enhancements then
glimmer and shine
while all the morning dew
sees the sunshine.
Welcoming morning
with dew drops detail
makes all the others
to surely set sail.
Tree limbs a swaying
in morning times breeze
paints the existence
of birds in the trees.
Scenes oh so magical
come into view
with the enchanting
sweet morning dew.

It’s Just A Color

Our pigmentation
with only a sight
shows ones discerning
what’s wrong and what’s right.
It’s just a color,
not what’s on inside
for we all have blood
with flesh then applied.
All of our choices
while looking around
might find many colors
yellow,  white,  black and brown.
It’s not a bad thing
that makes us this way,
for we’re all human
in life day to day.
It’s just a color
that many might see
while not discerning
they’re like you and me.
So put those colors now
out of your mind
and let God help you
see what’s best to find.
Brothers and sisters
please find now some peace.
Let’s let God help us
to make hate decrease.

Time For Healing

As time passes on
we might leave a trail
found with our footprints
in every detail.
We might find anger
in the days remembered,
but we just need to
make it dismembered
There’s a time for healing
in minutes of life.
A time we are needing
to let loose of strife.
Find peaceful meadows
of God in your heart
and let Him help you
to make healing start.
Don’t let your passed days
of anger live on.
There’s time for healing
in each mornings dawn.
Yesterdays anger
needs rest now to find,
so let Lord Jesus
show you peace of mind.
We all have passed days
not so appealing,
but now with Lord God
there’s time for healing.
Found in a prayer
with blessings galore
a time for healing
will then restore.
Giving you peacefulness
found in a prayer
there’s time for healing
with God’s love and care.

Roses

Love of some roses
will flourish and grow
showing us beauty
that some never know.
Roses of people
and places we see
often display as
what’s you and me.
Yet many people
only see weeds of time
not finding roses
of any design.
We need look harder
to see passed the sad
and see all the beauty
of which to be glad.
Roses remembered
from times long ago
might make today’s to
shimmer and glow.
So many roses
that blossomed so great
can help us see passed
some weeds now to date.
It’s what’s remembered
of rose moments places
that often gives us
the smiles on our faces.
Traces of heartbeats
roses so sweet
show us the blessings
that timeframes accrete.

Tomorrows Snow

Beyond what’s now summer
is a season I know
found in the presence of
tomorrows snow.
My own recollections
of wintertime dreams
flows down like snowflakes
in white windy streams.
Every single minute
my minds eyes remember
brings forth a portion
that’s found in December.
So many footsteps
in snow driven days
show all the footprints
of wonderful ways.
The Christmas memories
of times long ago
are coming alive in
tomorrows snow.
Tomorrows in counting
with passionate style
brings forth the paintings
of winters turnstile.
Christmastimes shimmer
and Christmastimes shake
now is inside me
with joy to partake.
White all around me
as snowmen will grow
is in a dream of
tomorrows snow.

Awakened

Time is awakened
is each day moves on
then there are moments
that then they are gone.
Lessons are counted
awakened by few
seen as some doorways
much better to view.
Some find awakened
the truth that’s exposed
found in the lies that
their self will imposed.
Awakened are many
that learned the hard way
finding their journeys
a bit of dismay.
So now awakened
are you seeing clear
what you’ve mistaken
for your better year?
Look now and see now
what’s better to do
when then awakened
with Lord God in you.
All of the passed days
of self will run wild
can be the lessons in
nows new born child.

Winds Found Blowing

The trees are swaying
there and to
winds found blowing
where they blew.
Pictures changing
with each breeze
winds found blowing
all the trees.
Now the clouds are
floating by
winds found blowing
them up high.
Every moment
finds a place
winds found blowing
face to face.
Finding breezes
in my mind
winds found blowing
time to time.
Now those breezes
are now growing
as the doorways
winds found blowing.

Always There

This love that lives
inside of me
will always find
your deep blue sea.
This smile I have
with love and care
for you inside
it’s always there.
I might not show
the smile outside,
but you can find it
deep inside.
I often frown
with pain I feel,
but it’s what
I can’t conceal.
But you my dear
I’ll always care
for my love is
always there.

Haiku
for Aug 30,  2014

When guarding your heart
you might prevent the right one
from entering in.

Living on eggshells
keeps your life filled with worry
that might need cracking.

When leaves are blowing
the wind might of picked a bit,
but it might be good.

Many a storm cloud
will come in your direction,
but just few will rain.

Life is a mystery
as many will find true love
and other times friends.

Lessons in a storm
teach to not frown all the time,
for smiles grow rainbows.

Deciphered friendships
will often show what is true
and what’s just a lie.

Long ago moments
might become our only sight
if we only dream.

Past unto present
finds a journey of footsteps
leaving their imprints.

Summertime’s presence
comes with some clouds and sunburns
on sandy beaches.

Changes come daily.
but many we never see
until we’re ready.

Looking for beauty
might cause you to not see it,
because it’s inside.

True happiness comes
with the acceptance of God
found in your choices.

Loss of your self will
would make you just a robot
that God does not want.

The winds of time blow
bringing us storms and rainbows
within their own time.

While many just stare
there are others that respond
with good and bad voice.

A child’s Christmas dreams
come alive with some snowflakes
and old Santa Claus.

Left over heartaches
can become loads of baggage
that prevents true love.

An angel by morning
will glisten in the sunshine
with peace found with prayer.

So many people
will say that they know better
when truly they do not.

Painting a picture
finds choices in the brush strokes
that may be unclear.

Without some truthful
our lives cannot be happy
for facades will fade.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

Last week was fairly nice as was this weekend.  Milo had
a spell of bad health this week,  but he’s doing much better
after us taking him to the vet and her giving us some meds
to give him.  Yep,  Milo is back to his old self.  I think his
arthritis was giving him a bad time.  It gives me a bad time
every day :).  Like father like son hehehe.  We ain’t getting
any younger hehehe.  I’ll be 58 next Sunday and Milo will
be 10 years old Oct 31 (Halloween) and he’ll be just about
56 years old for his breed in human years which is 2 years
younger than me.  So he has a right to have a few aches and
pains hehehe,  but his little brother Benny turned 3 years
old last July which is around 30 years old for his breed mix
in human years.  He still acts like a pup hehehe.  They do
love each other.  Benny was worried about his brother this
week when Milo wasn’t feeling well.  You could see it in
his eyes.  But,  we got Milo to the vet and he’s back to his
old self now.  Sheesh,  the cost of a vet bill is more than
a freaking doctor LOL.  It costs us $140 dollars just for
that visit and of course the medicine she gave us for him
to take.  That’s life,  but we’re relieved to have our little
Milo back to his old self no matter the cost.  You can’t
put a price on love.  I’m just glad we had enough money
to pay the bill hehehe.  We pooled our cash together and
managed to pay it LOL.  Judy’s over at her sisters house
again today taking care of her mother while Trudy goes
to work.  Benny and Milo are here with me for another
Sunday guy day hehehe.  After I finish writing,  I think
we’re gonna take a little field trip outside and get some
exercise.  I might decide to do it before I finish hehehe,
who knows.  Benny goes ecstatic when I let him run
wild in the field hehehe.  He only goes out there,  when
we’re with him.  He knows better than to go out there
without us the same as Milo.  I imagine when it starts
snowing and all,  I’ll have to dig us some little trails
to go walking in hehehe.  I did last year,  but not as
many trails as I am wanting to do this year if I’m able.
Last winter I had to go outside and dig them a few
potty trails so they could get away from the house to
go and do their business hehehe.  This year I want to
shovel us a little walking trail so we can still go for
walks.  It’s hard for their short little legs to maneuver
the deep snow hehehe.  Benny though gives it a try.
He jumps through the snow like a little rabbit hehehe.
Milo will try to bulldoze his way through,  but often it
doesn’t work hehehe.  Winter’s not too far away and
we’re trying to get ready for it,  by putting a hundred
dollars on heating oil every month,  so that when we
need it,  it’s paid for.  Of course,  we might still run
out before winter is over just as we have in previous
winters,  but we have our little radiator heaters that
pull us through if it’s not too bad.  Benny’s our little
snow dog.  He simply loves the snow LOL.  It’s hard
to get him to come inside when there’s snow on the
ground.  Anyways,  that season is yet to come,  for
we still have a small amount of summer to go through
and then a smaller bit of fall.  Milo is lying down in
the floor right beside me.  Benny is in our spare room
lying on the futon guarding that end of the house LOL.
Today’s supposed to get up to 80 F degrees,  but time
will tell.  Right now at 12 noon it’s 77 F degrees and
partly sunny or partly cloudy.  Whichever hehehe :)!
By the middle part of the week the temperature is
supposed to start dropping again to the mid 60’s or
thereabouts.  I think I’m gonna stop here and take
the boys out for a walk.  I’ll be back (in the best
Arnold Schwarzenegger impression I can do) hehehe.
We’re back!  I just gave Milo his medicine and he’s
done for the day.  Now it’s back to writing.  It was
a little warm outside hehehe,  but not too bad.  The
boys got a good walk.  Though in Benny’s case RUN.
I even got me a little exercise.  It’s good for all of
us.  It’s 79 F degrees now at 12:30 PM,  so it might
make it to 80 degrees if it keeps pushing.  Judy made
some Velveeta macaroni last night and I think today
before she gets home,  I’m going to cook up some
hamburger meat to mix in with it along with maybe
some catsup.  I’m not a fan of Velveeta hehehehe.
She asked me if I wanted to do that last night,  but I
wasn’t in the mood to cook hamburger meat being it
was getting late.  No matter,  I’ll do it in a bit.  LOL
I think Milo misses mom.  Judy should be home in
a few hours Milo.  try to find something to do in the
mean time.   Hehehe like he understands anything
I’m saying.  But they do understand,  wanna go for
a ride LOL.  Benny goes ballistic and is bouncing
around the room just screaming/whining when those
five words are mentioned hehehe.  Milo shows us
in his own little calm way,  by wagging his tail and
by most times being the first one out the door and
in the car hehehe.  Benny has FINALLY after him
watching Milo for a few months figured out how to
get in the car.  We kept waiting for him to notice
that Milo always jumps in the floorboard and then
up into the back seat.  Benny kept trying to jump
from the ground up the the seat which in our new
car is quite a distance higher than it was in our
little red Mazda :).  A couple of weeks ago we
bought a Eureka Airspeed Exact Pet vacuum and
the belt snapped on it yesterday when I was using
it LOL.  So,  I went to the Eureka site and found
the belt and it cost $3.50 or thereabouts,  but the
shipping cost 7 dollars LOL.  So when we have
some money again,  by the 3rd of September,  I’ll
buy a couple of the belts.  If the shipping is gonna
cost that much then make it worth my while I always
say hehehe.  Plus if the belt snaps again,  I’ll have
a replacement belt already,  but hopefully it last
at least a little longer than for two uses hehehehe.
We still have our old Bissell upright vac,  but it
doesn’t do dog hair too well.  Though Milo doesn’t
shed,  but Benny leaves little clumps of hair here
and there that look like cotton hehehe.  I think
it’s the Pekinese in him.  He’s half Pekinese and
half poodle which makes him a Peekapoo hehehe.
Milo’s a Lhasa Apso which is a breed that doesn’t
shed.  They may be different breeds and 7 years
difference in their ages,  but they act like they’re
brothers and they truly love one another.  Milo
will often go looking for Benny if he hasn’t seen
him for a bit.  If Milo went outside and Benny
went out with him,  but didn’t come back inside
when he did,  he will go scratching at the door
in here and pacing around in worry until we go
and let Benny back in.  Of course Benny isn’t
always ready to come back inside,  so we will
holler FOOD and he’ll come a running hehehe.
Yep,  they’re silly.  Judy’s youngest daughter is
moving back up here from southern Maine today.
Then we’ll get to see her more often along with
seeing her son and Mandy’s kids (our grandkids)
more often.  Mandy,  Judy’s oldest moved down
here from Northern Maine about a month ago
or so.  We always enjoy seeing the kids.  There’s
not much else going on up this ways.  Just the
same old same old.  Life up in these parts is sort
of quiet,  being we live out in the boonies hehehe.
Judy and I enjoy watching all of our favorite TV
programs together.  We might be poor money
wise,  but we’re rich in our blessings.  God has
kept His Mighty Hands upon us and given us
all that we need.  We do from time get a little
more than we need,  for God is good.  Only He
knows what’s best.  I thank God for giving me
such a wonderful life up here with Judy and the
boys.  I do though miss my family and friends
down south,  but God is always doing what He
knows is best for me.  Sometimes just allowing
me to experience my own self will run ragged,
because He knows lessons will come from it.
It’s my choice,  whether or not I decide to use
those lessons or to continue to make the same
mistakes.  LOL I almost rolled backwards,  but
fortunately for Milo,  I looked first hehehehe.
He’s lying right behind me on a leg of my chair.
Boy he’s trusting or brave LOL!  So I reckon
I need to be ceasing my rambling here and begin
my search back through all that I’ve written here
to see if I can find a good word or phrase that I can
use for the title for today’s brand new poem.  So,
it’s away I go,  to that lil place of my recollection
that I always like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.
I think I found a good title just a bit back in my
rambling and now after checking, I see that it
has not been used yet,  so here goes nothing :),
but I freaking hope not LOL.

The Middle Part

From here to there
of timeless travel
the middle part
will then unravel.
Showing pathways
there and to
where so many
winds have blew.
For beginning
journeys onward
the middle part
will climb aboard.
Leaving lessons
to attain
the middle part
might seem insane.
Yet of course those
times we’ve seen
might be nightmares
changed to dream.
For the middle part
gathers miles
then to there
as life compiles.
God gives blessings
from the start
to the end
and the middle part.

LOL,  I know,  the poem’s not that great,  but hey,  you
give it a shot and see what you come up with hehehehe.
I hope my rambling didn’t put you to sleep and you at
least understood the poem to a degree :).  I always write
what words come at that moment.   I never have a clue
of what I am really writing about.  It’s called automatic
writing.  Though often when I’m trying to write a specific
poem,  I will have to stop and think about it for a few
minutes.  It’s one of God’s gifts to me that I share with
you.  You might have a special gift from God that you
are unaware of at this point and time.  Some peoples
gifts don’t expose themselves until they are ready to
use them be it age,  maturity or timeframe in life.  Let
God guide you as you choose your pathways.  He will
give you signs of the wrong directions,  but often our
self will plays the culprit in getting us in places that we
don’t need to be.  That old WANNA FACTOR is a
a demon in all of us.  It’s one we need to take control
of and make better decisions.  Now,  before I begin
rambling again hehehe,  I need to tell you what I tell
you every week and that is,  I wrote some more poems
and haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more poems with one of them
being another Christmas poem and one about Judy and
I.  I also wrote 22 more haiku for all of my haiku lovers
out there.  I hope you find one or two of either or both
that you like and carry with you in life.  Now,  I believe
I need to be searching for that dad burned off switch
that’s not so great at hiding hehehe,  but not before
wish you a most wonderful weekend and a blessings
filled week.  Remember,  Jesus loves you and we do
too.  Ok,  where are ya hiding ya silly off switch????
I see ya you ornery thing.  You made a slight mistake
didn’t ya hehehe!  Climbing in my orange juice glass
became your folly as I can now see you holding on
for dear life to the edge of the glass.  Ok so out ya go.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

P.S.  Oh yea,  my friend Jimmy Martin in Oregon
passed away Friday the 15th.  I didn’t find out until
a few days ago.  I’ll sure miss his emails.  He was
a very sweet guy and was a good friend of ours for
many years.  I’ll see you in Heaven when my time
comes to join you.  Come and visit us anytime.  You
are no longer confined by flesh and blood and you
are welcome in our home.  We love you Jimmy :).

P.S. yet again 🙂 on a happier note
The brown dog under the table in the pictures
is our granddaughters dog named Peanut.
She looks a bit like Milo and Benny huh!
Of course,   you won’t see it if you’re not
receiving my stationery email hehehehe.

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

When Shadows Fade

As time moves onwards
and memories fail
the shadows of pictures
lose their detail.
As doorways we’ve entered
become just a phase
we might just recall them
as our learning days.
Temporal seasons
that one day has seen
might just become as
a momentous dream.
All of the windows
that we have looked through
might now be shadows
not found in our view.
Often our choices
of bad lemonade
in time are better then
when shadows fade.

Tomorrows Yesterdays

Now as today is
found here in view
tomorrow has not yet
really come true.
Changes from stages
we have yet seen
might be reverting
as life’s running stream.
Tomorrows yesterdays
change as we go
for when we get there
they might shrink or grow.
So if you’re worrying
about everything,
try to remember
what changes can bring.
Tomorrows yesterdays
seen now today
might just be worry’s that
don’t come in play.

Falling Through Time

Journeys we’ve hurried
might become bad
for we might find them
better not had.
Time displays things
that we shouldn’t do
yet in a hurry
we fell right through.
Falling through time
with footprints we made
we might just find
our life to degrade.
While seeing every
thing that we’ve done
falling through time
might show bad begun.
Don’t let your falling
to proceed that way.
Let God to help you
with your every day.

When In Fear

If your worries
overflow
learn through God to
let them go.
When in fear of
time yet seen
find some peaceful
God cuisine.
Let not worries
grow so large
that they one day
just take charge.
Find the lessons
growing strong
showing right ways
from the wrong.
Time has ways of
showing you
what that you are
needing do.
Lessons from nows
yesteryear
might just be now
when in fear.

Forever Love

Two hearts beating
become one
sounding as a
God filled drum.
Forever love
in streams of time
float on as a
heartfelt rhyme.
Forever found
is so sweet
Heaven’s blessings
none compete.
Forever love
is greater true
when it’s always
found with you.
Not allowing
weathered hearts
to become as
falling parts.
Forever love
is found forgave
still with love
for future days.
Finding heartbeats
two as one
beating love of
seasons sun,

Sweet Return

Summer comes
and summer goes
then comes fall
with wind that blows.
Autumns colors
paint each day
then those leaves
are blown away.
After fall
comes wintertime
showing seasons
white sublime.
All the snowflakes
land in place
painting up
the Earthly face.
Then comes spring
as flowers bloom
April,  May
and into June.
Summers doorway
knobs will turn
giving us its
sweet return.
Many swimming
in the waves
of the coming
summers days
The sweet return
turns sour true
when the heat waves
then burn you.
Then it starts
as times attain
fall then winter
with spring rain.
The sweet return
of each day found
soon is weathered
time around.
For they each have
their own time
sweet return
of scenic sign
and we soon will
wish away
what we loved once
day by day.

Sounds You Hear

The dark of night
holds many things
sounds we hear
as running streams.
Sometimes sounds
are found unknown
yet in time
they’ve somehow grown.
The things beyond
our vision clear
might transpose to
sounds we hear.
While not knowing
what that’s heard
we might fear
a little bird.
The dark of night
makes many see
things that aren’t
reality.
Imaginations
surely thrive
making sounds
to come alive.
Don’t let darkness
bring you fear.
Find the truth in
sounds you hear

Wintertime’s Romance

The first seasons snowflakes
all fall from the sky
floating so gracefully
seeming to fly.
The wintertime’s romance
brings mounds of white snow
found in our doorways
seen to and fro.
It seems so magical
as it’s displayed
when Christmas comes
with a snowman that’s made.
A snow angel also
with wings oh so white
in Christmas snow
on a magical night.
Thoughts of dear Jesus
and Santa Claus too
become our foresight
of blessings so true.
Then in the midst of
the seasons attire
there are so many
found warm by a fire.
Watching and waiting
for joys song and dance
found within Christmas
wintertime’s romance.
The glimmers of peaceful
come over the land
while Christmas reminds of
The One oh so grand.
Wintertime’s romance
is greatest to view
when it has Christmastime
living in you.

Icicles Melt

Cold hearted people
will try to ignore
ones that are knocking
for help on their door.
Cold as icicles
just growing longer
some of them seem as
just growing stronger.
Yet surely prayer can
one day be found
icicles melting
their hearts all around.
It takes some patience
with timeless detail
to melt the hearts
that once were in Hell.
Yet,  surely God’s love
through knees found knelt
can make cold hearted ones
icicles melt.

Inner Ocean

With ocean waves
of hearts desires
the captions found
as one admires.
The inner ocean
deep and blue
holds the thoughts
of me and you.
With each wave
of timeless notion
there are thoughts
in inner ocean.
Deep with swells
of dreams and more
found upon
the oceans shore.
The inner ocean
thrives with peace
found through love
of God’s release.
Scenes transfixing
in the waves
the inner ocean
then displays.
Sights and sounds
that sway around
the inner ocean
comes aground.
Bringing dreams
reality
within the waves
of you and me.
Each interaction
shows so true
the inner ocean
sea of blue.

Haiku
for Aug 23,  2014

The passing of time
reveals misunderstandings
that later perceives.

Looking for answers
might pose a few more questions
instead of answers.

Morning finds many
with some leftover anger
they should of released.

Patterns are gateways
that many will keep using
even if they’re bad.

The length of minutes
is deduced by a person
and how good they wait.

So many shadows
are often found as objects
that are not alive.

Teaching a person
needs for them to want to learn
or it’s just a waste.

Losing perspective
on life that is before you
could cause your demise.

Wintertime’s windows
open up as autumn leaves
soon after summer.

Releasing anger
needs a healthy passageway
so not to explode.

Beyond what is seen
are things taken for granted
that could bring us smiles.

Flying through the air
a hummingbird flaps its wings
so small,  but can fly.

Seeing’s believing,
though true faith without seeing
brings God much closer.

Sunshine of summer
brings heat waves sometimes burning
that often leaves scars.

Ice crystals forming
on wintertime’s discernment
makes many feel cold.

The look of hatred
becomes a real ugly book
with pages ripped up.

God’s love’s unending,
but so many deny Him
by turning away.

Not knowing the truth
will often leave you with lies
that you have been told.

Finding butterflies
in the midst of summertime
makes the days brighter.

Searching for heartbeats
where there is only darkness
might produce sadness.

Today marks a time
that yesterday forecasted
maybe a bit wrong.

Sparkling dewdrops
give way to the days sunshine
as morning is gone.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been another week gone by and time for the return
of my ramblings and poetry LOL.  How have you been?
Judy and I have been doing fairly well.  The weather has
been sort of rainy.  Today’s high is supposed to be 60 F
degrees.  Right now it’s 58 F degrees at 12 noon.  Judy
is back at her sisters house taking care of her mother
as she does every Sunday.  Me and the boys are doing
as always hehehe,  just hanging loose.  They’ve gotten
used to her leaving every Sunday.  Benny doesn’t even
raise a fuss anymore and Milo just stays in his famous
sleep mode LOL.  Judy,  I and the boys have been taking
semi daily walks in the field for exercise.  It’s good for
us,  but the boys needed to get out and run wild a little.
Of course,  Milo just walked wild hehehe.  He only runs
for a brief.  Benny on the other hand has a blast darting
from here to there as he goes investigating.  Me and the
boys went out yesterday,  but being mom (Judy) wasn’t
with us then,  Milo kept trying to run back to the house
and I had to keep running to catch him.  I ended up with
having to put a leash on him and make him come out,  but
soon mom (Judy) came out and he was ready to walk with
us without the leash.  He loves his mom :).  I think he
just puts up with me hehehe.  Naw,  I know he loves me,
but he wanted both of us out there.  Benny was thrilled
to just be able to romp about in the field.  He doesn’t do
it if neither of us is with him.  He knows that he’s not
allowed to,  but when I head out there and say come on,
he’s struck with a state of ecstatic puppy bliss :).  Milo
though would rather just stay inside,  but he needs some
exercise which he doesn’t get while indoors hehehehe.
We carry our cameras along so we can get a few good
pictures as well as a few videos of the boys at play.  Yep,
we’re enjoying summer as it slowly fades away and yes
it seems to be coming to an end as each day goes by.
Tomorrows high is supposed to be 68 F degrees and
then the rest of the week in the low to mid 70’s which
is great in my book :).  I find myself getting antsy for
the first snowflakes after fall.  Also Judy and I always
try to set out on a road trip to take pictures of the fall
colors when they begin.  It’s always beautiful,  but that’s
still a couple of months away.  It’s 1 PM now and it’s 60
degrees with a rainy look and feel.  It’s not near what
I remember from the Texas summers that I have lived
through.  Yep,  it’s quite a change.  The hottest month
up here is July,  which we never saw much near 90 F
and that was just a couple of weeks.  People still keep
on asking me,  do ya miss Texas?  Yes of course.  I’m
a Texan,  but I don’t miss the heat.  I miss my family
and friends,  but at least we have internet and a long
distance telephone service.  Back in the olden days
if you lived just 20 miles away or more you would
not see the family except while taking a long wagon
ride.  You would send mail either pony express or by
telegraph.  So,  you see,  we’ve got it much better
than that.  Even now from the 80’s and 90’s we have
long distance telephone service that doesn’t cost
you by the minute as it did.  I know there are many
of you out there that remember those days well LOL.
When I was 12 and we moved to Wills Point from
Dallas,  we were stuck with a party line because we
were 10 miles out of town.  There was I believe
4 people on our party line,  maybe 5.  We all had
our own ring.  Ours was I think,  2 short rings hehe.
We had a busybody on our party line that loved to
pick up and listen to everybody’s conversations.
Me and some of my friends loved to mess with
her when we could hear her breathing on the line.
We would talk as if we were girls and rattle her
brain and then after a bit say OK you can hang up
now Mrs. Bynum and you could hear her hang up :).
Anyways,  I remember those days very well.  The
past has a way of leaving an imprint in my mind
and I remember it and often laugh out loud LOL.
There were some great times back in my childhood
and there were some times that were not so great.
It’s with that combination that makes life worth
living.  The surprises help to vanquish the boredom.
Of course,  some surprises I could of lived without,
but that’s life hehehe.  Living out in the country as
we did back then helped me to learn about myself
as my poetic side developed stronger.  I found that
I loved nature and enjoyed going exploring through
the woods.  So if you were ever wondering why it is
that many of my poems are about nature,  now you
know hehehe.  I see God’s Handy work in the clouds
above and the wealth of beauty on the Earth.  Trees
swaying in a breeze speak volumes of poetry to me as
do the flowers and other points of beauty.  It seems
that I see poetry everywhere I look.  In the grains
of a piece of wood or a footprint on a sandy shore.
God’s beauty is all around us just awaiting us to
take the time and see it and enjoy.  Far too many
people spend their time focusing on their cellphones
or just looking straight ahead and not having a look
around at what God has given us.  Sometimes the
beauty is hidden in the smallest of things and we
don’t find them important enough to look at,  but
that can maybe one day haunt them,  for some of
the smallest things in life become the greatest to
see.  Don’t let life pass you by without taking the
time to enjoy the small things.  You might find that
those small things will make you much happier by
far.  Yet when problems arise take care of them,
but don’t make mountains out of mole hills.  Life
is way too short to spend your time worrying about
every little thing.  Let God help you with your life.
If you lose a loved one,  remember,  they are not
gone,  but in a different form.  No longer contained
by flesh and blood.  The spirit lives on and they
often watch over us.  I talk to my dad every day
and at times I can feel his presence with me just
smiling big as he used to.  Often I can feel his hand
on my shoulder as I write.  It’s a comforting feeling.
So just remember,  life isn’t over just because the
physical body dies.  It just changes to a different
plane.  I know,  I too get sad at the loss of loved
ones,  mainly because I always want to be able to
call them on the phone or hold their hand,  but I’ve
been raised to know that I will see them again as
my time in this aching body comes to an end and
my life starts a new never ending chapter.  So,
with that said,  I reckon I need to stop rambling
and begin my quest back through all that I have
written here to see if I can find me a good word or
phrase that I can use for the title of today’s brand
new poem.  And so it’s away I go to that place of my
recollection that I always like to call RECOLLECT
VILLE.  I think I found a decent title and it looks
like I haven’t used it yet,  so I guess I’ll see what
I can do with it.  Here goes nothing hehehe.

A Comforting Feeling

With loss of a loved one
life might seem to fail,
but it’s just perception,
and a change in detail.
A comforting feeling
brings me a big smile
when I think so Heavenly
God all the while.
Sometimes a loved one
will leave us alone,
while not realizing that
their love has grown.
Minutes might prosper
while turning to hours
then unto weeks with
our life’s disempower.
Yet when accepted
and finding God’s Grace
a comforting feeling
will grow on your face.
Learning that loved ones
are still all around
maybe not found in
our sight and our sound.
But with the passing of
loves ventured ways
a comforting feeling
in Heaven displays.
Look for their spirit
within me and you
and let them live on
in the things that you do.

Well,  there ya go.  I hope you weren’t put to sleep
with my rambling and you enjoyed the poem.  I have
a bit a sad news.  Judy’s nephew died yesterday and
she’s sad.  Put her brother Arty and wife Louise in your
prayers.  Also,  I have not heard from my good friend
Jimmy M in Oregon for a while.  He usually writes me
every week.  The last email I got from him said that the
doctors told him that he had only 4 to 8 weeks to live.
He has pancreas cancer.  Please put him in your prayers
as well.  I will miss him,  but he’ll be able to come and
visit us in his new unconfined form.  We love you Jimmy.
We love you too Arty and Louise.  Ok it’s time to move
off of the sad stuff and onto some other news.  Milo is in
the floor snoring and he sounds like a grizzly bear 🙂
He’s literally vibrating the floor hehehe.  Last night
after letting him out to go potty,  I was coming back
in here and in our dark bedroom he decided to stop
right in front of me and I busted my little toe hehehe.
It bled for most of the night and it’s swollen pretty
good now.  Oh well!  Anyways,  maybe Milo will
learn not to stop in front of me especially when he
is brown and our carpet is brown and the lights are
off LOL.  He probably won’t learn,  but I can dream
can’t I hehehe!?  Ok,  so I guess it’s time for me
to be telling you what I tell you every week and that
is,  I wrote some more poems and haiku.  Yeppers,
10 more poems with 1 of them being a Christmas
poem and another that is about Judy and I hehehe.
Also I wrote once again 22 haiku for all of my haiku
lovers out there.  I hope you find 1 or 2 of either
or both that you like.  Now I believe it’s time for
me to begin my search for that not so elusive off
switch,  but not before I wish you a most wonderful
weekend and a blessed week.  Remember,  Jesus
loves you and we do too.  So where is that blasted
off switch hiding this time?  Oh for Heaven’s sake,
could you at least pick a hiding spot that is not
clear LOL.  Hiding behind my eyeglass cleaner
would of worked if in fact the bottle wasn’t CLEAR.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

P.S.  Judy said she was gonna stop off and pick us
up something to eat in town before she heads home.
Hmmmmm I wonder what she’s getting us to eat?
Oh yea,  it’s 60 F degrees now and 3 PM 🙂

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Before Today

Tomorrows time
begins at glance
before today
and nows entrance.
So many doors
of now and agin
before today
is like the wind.
Blowing arrays
of choices found
before today
time goes around.
The shadows seen
each day and time
sometimes show
a moments rhyme.
All of the minutes
that now display
began their growth
before today.

Stormy Days

Minutes thunder
lightning too
stormy days
come into view.
Scenes displaying
sight and sound
stormy days
will come around.
Times partaking
might be seen
as a nightmare
not a dream.
Stormy days
of memories
sometimes seem
as deep blue seas.
Yet some storm clouds
will then cease
surely displaying
a moments peace,
as a rainbow
then displays
after all the
stormy days.

Left Turns Right

With up and down
then left turns right
as in and out
goes out of sight.
Things we see
in passing days
might seem black
but be just greys.
Left turns right
with minutes found
when confusion
looks around.
Found as hurry
seeks to find
left turns right
from time to time.
Sometimes now
is turned too quick
as left turns right
and makes us sick.
Don’t let moments
make you frown
when they turn you
upside down.
Find the joyful
in the sight
even when then
left turns right.

Seeking True

Love of life
is sometimes as
minutes seen
to come to pass.
Seeking true
those scenic days
many find some
wondrous ways.
Yet some people
only find
rhythms of a
troubled mind.
When they’re seeking
true their sight
things might go from
wrong to right.
Don’t let sometimes
troubled news
turn your days
to bitter blues.
For when seeking
true some love
let God give
from up above.
Don’t be found as
searching blind.
Seeking true needs
peace of mind.

The Bitter Miles

When looking back
on days gone by
the bitter miles
leave how and why.
Stressing viewpoints
time has shown
that then way back
were not known.
The bitter miles
of troubled days
might now have some
learning ways.
From the moments
we’ve been through
the bitter miles might
change their view.
Leaving lessons
found in sight
teaching you what’s
wrong or right.

As Christmas Comes

While summers heat waves
scorch and burn
the seasons passing
come in turn.
Soon then the summers
rise of fame
Goes right back from
where it came.
Then the autumn
colors bright
decorate each
day and night.
Winter then comes
to unfold
white snow falling
oh so cold.
Winters magic
then becomes
Jesus found
as Christmas comes
Painting in the
hearts of gold
through the stories
that are told.
Christmas lights are
hung in place
bringing smiles
so Jesus laced.
As Christmas comes
the music plays
telling of those
wondrous ways.
So if summer
makes you sad
look to Christmas
and be glad.

Morning Leaves

Morning comes
soon after night
removing all
it’s starry light.
Morning then
comes into view
sharing it
with me and you.
Morning leaves
as time moves on
leaving shadows
of its dawn.
With while showing
time agin
how our choices
do begin.
Morning leaves
while bringing chance
found as minutes
song and dance.
Morning gives us
ways to choose
better with our
win or lose.
Then as morning
leaves its mark
there are timeframes
to embark.

When Pages Turn

Our book of life
is often read
wrongly so
with thought you said.
Sometimes people
misunderstand
when pages turn
found not so grand.
Many are reading
what’s not understood
trying to find out
what’s bad or good.
They fail to see
the life written down
not understanding
your sight and sound
Yes oh so often
ones wrongly discern
what that they’re reading
when pages turn.

When Echoes Are Made

A lifetime of repeats
are lessons found laid
found as the stories
when echoes are made.
Learning time prospers
when time finds a clue
then no more clueless
is found within you.
It’s those found ignoring
those echoes of time
that will be found making
a similar crime.
Don’t let the echoes
of how.  where and why
to leave you found empty
with lessons run dry.
When echoes are made
they put forth a glow
teaching us lessons
we’re needing to know.
For without echoes
of yesterdays gone
we have no lessons
to better our dawn.

Footprints in Sand

On a beach faraway
there are footprints to find
found as a memory
inside of my mind.
Footprints in sand
as a picture time quest
the two of us strolled on
while seeking the best.
Searching for pictures
to capture on film
as we had many times
then and agin.
We often splashed onwards
while walking in waves
with footprints in sand
on those wonderful days.
Now they’re just memories
on a beach I remember
of footprints in sand
as a magical ember.
My thoughts are alive now
with us hand in hand
while walking together
making footprints in sand.

Too many people
look for only the bad times
and don’t see the good.

Loves true description
will get misinterpreted
by desperate ones.

As summer subsides
it will slowly be replaced
by fall and winter.

Nighttime brings starlight
to glitter as decorations
in the sky above.

When a raindrop falls
it’s often joined by others
sometimes in puddles.

Nobodies failures
come without a few lessons,
so let them teach you.

Do your best in life
and regret will not haunt you
for sitting around.

Loss of a loved one
finds many with emptiness,
but spirit lives on.

Viewing a doorway
could bring you much confusion,
for some go nowhere.

A trains railroad tracks
might seem to go forever,
but then not at all.

Unconditioned love
comes no matter what you do,
for it is true love.

Life in the fast lane
can make you grow old quickly
leaving many scars.

Let love find your heart
through the blessings of Jesus
and life will find smiles.

Using poor judgment
on a hurried point and time
could end in despair.

Let a flower bloom
and it will show you great joy.
Pluck,  and it will die.

Many surprises
come as nightmares unwanted,
while others are good.

Beyond our eyesight
is a life that eludes us
that spirits exist.

Looking for starlight
could find you staring upwards
looking at the moon.

Windows of lifestyles
are often covered with dirt
so that you can’t see.

Journeys through mountains
leaves a rollercoaster ride
of destination.

When some clouds blow in
they also might bring some rain
to fall when ready.

Learning from others
makes your lessons easier,
but many don’t try.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It looks like summer is on a downhill slide now,  at least
up here that’s what it looks like.  We’ve been staying in
the upper 60’s to mid to upper 70’s for the past few weeks
and it looks like according to our weather forecast,  that
there’ll be more of the same.  Today’s high is supposed to
be 78 F degrees.  Right now at 11 AM it’s 74 F degrees.
I’ve been taking the boys out in the field in front of our
house to get some exercise.  They seem to enjoy it LOL.
It’s helping me too.  When we first got Benny and much
time afterwards,  we couldn’t trust him to walk with us
out there,  but now along side Milo,  he stays close and
doesn’t wander off to the woods as he did once before :).
When I said are yall ready to go back to the house,  it
was like a mad dash hehehe.  Benny took off and then
Milo was right behind him.  They looked so cute playing
all the way to the house.  I took a video of them and it
came out pretty good :).  I’ve already uploaded it to my
Facebook page hehehe.  Milo is lying in the floor right
now and Benny I’m pretty sure is lying on his favorite
recliner.  Although,  since we’ve gotten our spare room
cleaned out and made our futon accessible,  he’s been
found sleeping on it from time to time hehehe.  We’ve
gotten a little rain off and on as normal.  We might get
a little this evening,  but there’s only 10 percent chance.
My weather program shows a slight chance of rain for
Tuesday and then 40-80 percent for Wednesday and
Thursday,  but that can all change one way or another
at the drop of a hat.  So what else is going on around
here other than clouds,  rain and sunshine hehehehe
oh and yes Benny and Milo?  Well to be honest,  it’s
pretty quiet around here.  Or it would be :),  if Benny
would quit barking every time our neighbors come or
go or whatever LOL.  If it had anything to do with us,
then I wouldn’t mind so much hehehe,  but he’s gonna
have to get used to us having neighbors again LOL.
I guess we’ve been without any neighbors for so long,
he thinks he’s gotta protect all of the homes hehehe.
Yes,  that is good to a point,  but there is such a thing
as overkill hehehe.  Judy is once again over at her
sister’s house taking care of her mom while her sister
works her one day a week at WalMart.  I think the
boys have gotten used to her schedule.  Benny just
stood with me at the door and watched Judy back
out of the driveway and then he picked up where he
left off with his dentist stick hehehe.  Milo never
even got up from the dog bed in here and he’s still
down there snoring away.  After I finish writing this
I might take them out to the field with me again and
play to give them and me some exercise.  I’ve been
walking out in the field by myself for a long time,  but
just a couple of days ago started bringing them along.
Milo has come out with me a few times,  but Benny’s
first time was yesterday.  I think I’m going to try and
make it a daily thing of course up until it snows and
it’s too deep to walk hehehe.  Even then,  I might
make us a few trails in the snow that we can walk
in,  but that’s a few months away.  Right now the
sun is shining bright.  It’s 73 F degrees at 11:30 AM
and there’s a 5 mile an hour breeze blowing.  Not
too bad.  Milo was having an asthma attack just a
minute ago,  but I picked him up and calmed him
down so he could relax and breathe.  I have asthma
too hehehe.  Like father,  like son.  A lot of times it
just takes a little calming to help to breathe peaceful
again.  I have a respirator  that I use,   but haven’t
found one for a dog.  For that matter,  how would
you even get him to use it LOL?  Breathe in Milo.
No don’t try to eat it.  Let it go Milo,  it’s not a toy.
Do you see the aspect of that dilemma hehehehe.
Anyways,  he in time gets to breathing normally
and continues with whatever he was doing hehehe.
Right now he’s SNORING LOUDLY LOL.  I can
almost feel the floor vibrating hehehe.  My mom
told me that she’s ready for wintertime.  She’s tired
of the heat.  I wonder why :).  Today’s high in her
part of Texas is supposed to be 99 F degrees and
right now at 11:46 it’s 90 F degrees.  I know how
she feels.  I can still remember those hot summer
days,  but at least it seems the temps are staying
below the triple digits.  I told her,  she ought to
move up here hehehe.  She said,  don’t tempt her.
I said remember,  we often have months of subzero
temperatures with tons of snow to boot.  She said,
she hates the heat LOL.  Something tells me that
she would hate the cold much more while having
to deal with what we deal with LOL.  But if she
wants to move up,  there are places in town that
she can move to.  LOL I don’t think she could
handle living way out here in the boonies and
having to dig out her car every day.  I’m a little
different than her.  I prefer the cold to the heat
due to my health issues and plus I love to play
in the snow and take pictures of the snow scenes.
OK,  I’m a lot different than her hehehe.   Now,
what else is there to talk about?  I’ve taking a
lot of pictures of the scenery around our house.
Everything’s so green, it looks like it’s painted :).
I walked down to the river that is just below us
and I took a few pictures.  I also got some great
moon shots as well as more cloud pictures.  Yes,
I got many pictures of the boys :).  Did ya think
that wouldn’t happen?  Milo is getting more and
more affectionate.  He’s wanting me to hold him
almost as much as Benny.  It’s hard to believe
that Milo was ever not so cuddly.  He used to
hate being held hehehe.  Now,  when I put him
down,  he tries to jump back up in my lap LOL.
So silly!  I haven’t heard Benny bark in a while.
I better go check on him.  I’ll be back.  I’m back.
Benny’s sound asleep on his favorite recliner :).
I hope he’s resting up,  because after I finish
with this,  we’re going walking.  Yep,  another
trip out in the field.  When they get used to it,
all I’ll have to say is,  yall wanna go walking
just like when we say,  do yall wanna go for a
ride which after that phrase,  they both head
for the door and Benny starts whining hehehe.
Milo shows his excitement in a more dignified
manner hehehe.  When we open the door,  he
makes a mad dash for the back door of the car.
So,  when I get them used to hearing ya wanna
go for a walk,  I’m sure I will start getting a sort
of similar response aside from the car being the
point of journey hehehe.  We love our lil boys :).
Thank you God for the many blessings that we
receive and have received as well as the ones we
have yet to receive.  I can remember times long
ago in my past that I was not so thankful for the
things God had given me,  but now as I look back
I can see how that what He gave me,  was what
I needed,  whether I liked it or not.  Sometimes
being grateful needs be done even for the bad
times that you experienced,  for they are lessons
to help us grow.  Often the hard lessons will stay
with us longer than the easy ones.  Sometimes we
will forget the easy lessons and have to learn
them again and again,  but those hard lessons
will stay with us.  Don’t let life to turn you into
a miserable person.  Look for the rainbows
through the storm.  Let a raindrop not be a bad
thing,  but an enlightening one.  Yesterdays
troubles can be the builders for todays good
times.  Learn what not to say,  where not to go
and what not to do.  Use those lessons wisely
and tomorrow will be a better brighter day :).
Now,  I believe it’s time once again for me to
be searching through all that I’ve written here
for a new word or phrase that I can use as the
new title for today’s brand new poem.  So it’s
away I go to that place of my recollection that
I always like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.
I think I found a good title that I haven’t used
yet,  but now I’ve gotta see if I can put a few
words together and form a poem using it LOL.
Here goes nothing hehehe.

Let A Raindrop

When a storm cloud
rains on you
let a raindrop
change your view.
Search to find
a greater show
through the storm
a bright rainbow.
Let a raindrop
teach you well
how some problems
change detail.
Often struggles
give you gain
hidden in
the falling rain.
Sometimes storms
we’ve found succeed
are what all
we really need.
Let a raindrop
teach you true
what that you are
needing do.

I hope you enjoyed my rambling and maybe even the
poem.  Before I get ahead of myself,  I want to wish
my granddaughter Sami a HAPPY 14th BIRTHDAY.
I sure wish I could be there and celebrate it with you
or at least give you a GREAT BIG HUG.  I love you.
Jayme,  I miss you.  It would be nice if yall could one
day come up and visit.  I know,  finances are really
tight.  Ours are too.  Judy and I love ya bunches.
Again,  Please,  continue to keep my good friend
Jimmy in your prayers.  We love you Jimmy.  Never
ever forget that my friend.  Ok,  so it’s gotten a little
warmer now.  It’s 77 F degrees right now at 1 PM.
Still,  not too bad hehehe.  I had to let Benny outside.
His barking was driving me crazy.  Our neighbor is
vacuuming their car and Benny thinks I need to
know about it LOL.  Milo’s still sleeping.  He’s a
sound sleeper just like his mom hehehe.  Benny
and me wake up for everything LOL.  Well,  it
seems like I might ought to stop here before my
rambling gears kick in again hehehe.  So,  I guess
it’s time for me to be telling you what I tell you
every week and that is,  I wrote some more poems
and haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more poems with one
of them being sort of Christmassy and another
one about Benny and Milo hehehe.  I also once
again wrote 22 haiku for all of my haiku lovers
out there.  I hope you find at least one or two of
either or both that you like.  Now,  I’m  needing
to try and find once again that (not so great at
hiding) off switch,  but not before I wish you a
most wonderful weekend and a blessings filled
week.  Remember,  Jesus loves you and we do
too.  Ok,  now where’s that off switch attempting
to kind of sort of hide :)?  I think I see ya you
silly thang.  You’re really pushing the envelope
in bad places to hide LOL.  Hiding behind my
ESC key isn’t in my book even freaking trying.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce
and of course Benny and Milo “Woof Woof”

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Sweaty Paws

Summers days
with oohs and ahs
are sometimes
with sweaty paws.
Our boys running
here and there
sweaty paws
without a care.
Those four legs
go running wild
sometimes as
a little child,
but our oldest
named Milo
sometimes runs
a little slow.
Sweaty paws
of summers days
finds our youngest
playing chase.
Benny’s younger
than Milo,
but their truly
barking bros.
They will sometimes
bounce around
making their own
barking sound.
Not the same breed,
no they’re not,
but they love
each other a lot.
They’re our boys
with little claws
found upon
their sweaty paws.

The Minutes

With only a moment
some minutes will pass
leaving things sometimes
out of contrast.
The minutes we count
are often so wrong,
because they are moments
that don’t belong.
The minutes we see
might be mere illusions
while only showing us
moments confusions.
So don’t let moments
to leave you found sad
for they’re just minutes
found sometimes a fad.
Yet sometimes moments
that the minutes disclose
show us the timeframes
we overexpose.
Leaving just a portion
of our reality
found in the minutes
of our history.

Tomorrows Dream

While now paints a view
in front of your eyes
you might find portions
of tomorrows skies.
Times yet to flourish
of things that we’ve seen
are maybe moments of
tomorrows dream.
Imagine you’re climbing
a mountain so high
that when you get there
you touch the sky.
Tomorrows dreams come
when doubt’s at rest
leaving us blessings of
moments filled zest.
Find now your hopeful
in tomorrows dream eyes
and let your blessings
to fill up the skies.
Find now through prayerful
a genuine smile
within tomorrows dream
God can compile.

A Hint of Winter

Within the glimmers
of summertime’s days
a hint of winter comes
found in a phrase.
Bringing along Christmas
with it’s certain scent
there’s a little portion
of a wintery hint.
Sometimes at nighttime
with it’s little chill
there’s a hint of winter
to surely fulfill.
Summers own pages
are turning with time
soon to be winter with
white snow divine.
Then the glow of Christmas
will light up the nights
with a hint of winter
and Christmassy lights.

So Many Lines

Some lines curve around
to make a few words,
while others just stand there
to spell a flock of birds.
So many lines
will just cross and mix
leaving some seemingly
just doing tricks.
Some lines form circles
to go where they go
while never ending
with their certain flow.
Sometimes the lines
will not look the same
connecting at corners
of an uneven plane.
Many times lines
will just be a view
seen from a distance
from thereunto.

Painted Skies

Skies of blue
with clouds of white
show me now
a wondrous sight.
Scenes of beauty
for my eyes
are found in
the painted skies.
Storms might enter
bringing rain,
but the beauty’s
still the same.
Changing daily
with each breath
the painted skies
shall never rest.
Bringing oceans
skies of blue
with some waves
a whitish hue.
Painted skies
are found each day
some to change
with clouds of grey.
Then the stories
for my eyes
are revealed
as painted skies.

A Can of Worms

A word we said
without a thought
a can of worms
might then be bought.
Making a day
much worse for you
the can you open
might go askew.
So don’t let words
of untamed ways
to bring to you
some saddened days.
Think it over
clearly now
before your words
just go KAPOW.
For so often
trouble turns
when you open
a can of worms.

When Summer’s Over

Days we’ve encountered
some too hot to breathe
many are found wanting
a simple little breeze.
When summer’s over
the summertime days
might within winter
have a much better gaze.
Yet now with summertime
many are sweating
while they’re just simply then
winter forgetting.
Winter brings snowflakes
and beauty divine
with also a wonderful
Christmassy time.
Then of course many will
lose track of days
while they are walking in
white snowy ways.
When summer’s over
so many forget
the best is to come
but surely has yet.
Don’t let the coldness
of wintertime’s scenes
to become all you think of
as a daily routine.
When summer’s over
then Autumn will show
fall colors growing
with scenes to and fro.
Then as the snowflakes
begin to fall down
a white snowy venture
will then paint the ground.
When summer’s over
look for all that’s good
autumn to winter
in your neighborhood.

Leftover Smiles

Often some sadness
will become found
as only all that’s
seen all around.
Some situations
might fill up your mind
with only sadness
and no good to find.
On those occasions
search mindful the miles
to find the flavors
of leftover smiles.
Try and remember
the laughter you saw
maybe on sometimes
joyful hurrah.
Leftover smiles can
blossom and bloom
if you will try to
set them in tune.
Sometimes a moment
of a silly cuisine
might give a laugh
if you know what I mean.

Joyful Sounds

Things we hear
on passing days
might turn out as
best soufflés.
Seasoned moments
time surrounds
as so many
joyful sounds.
Times we might not
think so great
might turn into
better fate.
Joyful blessings
come and go
sometimes leaving
us with woe.
Yet so often
leaps and bounds
lead us to some
joyful sounds.
Some with struggles
in their view
then some smiles come
unto you.
Joyful sounds
of God’s request
will become
our very best.

Haiku
for Aug 9,  2014

Shadows tell stories
of the actors in motion
leaving some questions.

The youth of today
will be tomorrows elders
so don’t look away.

Living in a shell
will prevent many lessons
that life will teach you.

God gives us choices
to either turn right or left
or pray about it.

Life is a turnstile
with a few squeaky doorways
that might need oiling.

Looking for true love
could find you a few lemons
amidst your journey.

Unsightly people
might hold beauty within them
that you might not see.

Within a tattoo
is often a persons thoughts
about who that they love.

Centuries of time
disclose decades of pathways
that we each repeat.

A leading person
could become someone’ downfall
due to ignorance.

Harboring sadness
prevents any happiness
to fully take hold.

Beyond tomorrow
holds the mysteries of now
that we did not see.

Changing surroundings
does not always work out well
for changing yourself.

Looks of some dewdrops
are found glowing in sunlight
sitting on flowers.

A persons heartbeat
is sometimes barely noticed
by ones prejudice.

A search of the truth
could display some good liars
that need exposing.

Too sheltered from storms
might prevent you from learning
as life moves along.

A book of knowledge
often gives too much info
for those that worry.

When time passes by
it paints a few portions
within tomorrow.

Glancing at beauty
is better than just staring
making ones nervous.

Written in the sky
are words of imagination
with painted details.

Long awaited moments
might turn out worse than first thought
due to your dreaming.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

Has it rained over your ways?  It’s rained a little in this
passed week,  but not much.  We might get a little rain
throughout the week,  but not expecting too much.  The
temperatures have been fairly nice.  Today it might get
up to 80 F degrees.  Right now at 11 AM it’s 71 degrees.
Not too awful bad!  The last few days I’ve been having
to sit here alone as Judy went to visit with her sisters
and cousins which are girls also hehehe.  Nope,  I didn’t
wanna get stuck in a room with a bunch of girl talk LOL.
Yesterday,  she went to her sisters house for a family get
together,  but my legs were hurting too bad to go due to
me being stupid and helping our neighbors move some
stuff,  which I will not EVER do again.  Long story,  but
my body is still recouping and I don’t feel that I was even
appreciated anyways.  OH well,  live and learn.  Judy is
over at her sisters house today taking care of her mom
again so that her sister can work her one day a week at
WalMart.  She should be home sometime this evening.
This passed week I’ve felt like a single man hehehehe.
Unfortunately I had no car to go anywhere or do anything,
because she had the car.  Our landlord is out in the field
trying to get his tractor fixed.  It quit on him a few days
ago with a LOUD backfire LOL.  It sounded like a gun
shot.  Anyways,  he’s gone again.  I guess it still wouldn’t
start.  Tomorrow,  Judy and I are gonna sleep in,  being
we don’t have anywhere we need to be.  That’ll be nice!
Milo is lying in the floor.  Him and Benny went with Judy
yesterday and they were pooped little boys from playing
with their many cousins when they finally got home last
night.  Benny of course has already gotten his second
wind,  but Milo’s an old dude and he don’t snap back as
fast LOL.  He’s like me and needs a little time to rest
and recoup.  There’s not much going on around this place.
While Judy has been gone,  I’ve been just goofing around
with my conga drums.  browsing the internet and watching
TV,  of course aside from helping our neighbors which
I have already mentioned LOL.  It sounds like Calvin got
his tractor up and running again and he’s back to plowing.
He’s a nice man.  Not the best landlord,  but he does his
best and that’s all that can be expected.  I just went to
see if Benny was ready to come in and he was hiding up
under our steps hehehe.  The tractor scares him.  Benny
came inside and Milo came to the door saying he needs
to go out.  LOL swinging doors.  He went and pooped and
came running back to the door because he was ready to
come back inside.  LOL back to the floor to plop down
and sleep hehehe.  There are two doggy beds in here and
he’s lying on the freaking floor LOL.  Go figure hehehe!
Oops,  Calvin’s tractor died again.  He might ought to
take it to a mechanic,  but then that would cost money.
I’m sure he’ll get it up and running again :).  I just gave
the boys some Bark’n Bac’n.  They’ve been real good
aside from Benny barking at our landlord while he’s out
there trying to get his tractor started again hehehe.  The
Bark’n Bac’n shut him up for a bit hehehe.  Now he’s up
under the coffee table in the living room gnawing on it :).
Now it’s on with the journal after of course I grab me
a another soda water (Mountain Dew).  OK got it!  Now
Milo is sitting right behind me just staring at me wanting
another piece of Bark’n Bac’n hehehe.  Nope,  you’ve
had two pieces the same as Benny.  Go and lie down now
and let me write.  He’s lying down now,  but still staring
at me hehehe.  I guess I’ll just have to try and ignore
him LOL.  As I said before,  there’s not much going on
around the Pearce’s Place.  We live a fairly quiet life
of course aside from us both being deaf and having to
turn the TV up full blast so we can hear it hehehe and
also from me ever so often jamming on my conga drums
to kill the boredom and they’re not that loud.  Nope it’s
a quiet life around here.  I would surely welcome a little
excitement from time to time LOL.  Judy and I might
one day soon take a little sightseeing photo drive and
even bring the boys along to get in the pictures :).  Yep,
it’s great that Judy and I enjoy a lot of the same things.
Not everything,  but then that would just be weird LOL.
It looks like I might have to do a little laundry and wash
some dishes in a bit.  It’ll kill the boredom hehehehe.
I hear our landlord out there again.  It sounds like he’s
got his tractor running again and gone back to plowing.
Yep,  it’s REAL exciting around here LOL.  It’s better
than nothing.  It’s gotten a little bit warmer since I began
writing.  Now it’s 79 F degrees.  That’s supposed to be
the high for today,  but we shall see hehehe.  I’m sure
it will vary,  because it went back to 78 degrees while
I was writing this LOL.  Thank God for the breezes
that come blowing in ever so often.  I often find myself
looking back in time wondering how I ended up way up
here and I can sometimes see how God intervened in
putting me where I needed to be.  I might not be happy
always,  but there’s no one that is always happy.  We all
have our bad days and what’s bad to you might be great
to another.  The owner of the problems will often deduce
the troubles that they have.  What’s hard for another,
might be easy for you and visa versa.  We often think
that we’ve got it worse,  but trust me,  there is always
someone out there that has it worse than you.  Just like
if you think you’re the best at something,  think again,
because there’s always someone out there that is better
than you at doing something.  Just be yourself and do the
best you can with what God gave you.  Don’t worry about
how great another person is.  You are often only seeing
the outer shell of who they are and not seeing what’s
thriving within.  Many will often try to hide their failures
that they’ve had for fear of being less than.  We’re all
going to make mistakes.  That’s a fact of life.  Get over
it.  Learn from your mistakes and grow.  Let God show
you the blessings that can come from learning.  Let your
ego have a rest.  Admit that you’re human and have made
a few mistakes in life and are still making them.  I know
I make mistakes every freaking day,  but I try not to
dwell on them,  but learn from them.  Let Jesus show you
His forgiveness as you learn how to forgive yourself and
others.  Today is a brand new day,  so don’t let mistakes
of yesterday to prevent you from growing today.  Now,
I believe it’s time for me to take a little trip back through
all that I’ve written and see if I can find a good word or
phrase that I can use for the title for today’s brand new
poem.  So it’s away I go to that place of my recollection
that I always like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.  Hmm,
I think I found a good title that I haven’t used before,
but can I write anything that makes any sense using it?
That’s soon to be seen huh hehehe.  Here goes.

Admit That You’re Human

Don’t spend so much time now
just trying to be
without an error now
in history.
Admit that you’re human
and make some mistakes
as bakers make pies
when trying to make cakes.
Sometimes our failures
are better to find
when they give lessons
to then change our mind.
Admit that you’re human
as each day moves on,
for we all make mistakes
from dusk unto dawn.
Don’t let your failures
to make you insane,
for with many failures
there’s good to attain .
Look passed the lesser
and see what that’s good.
Admit that you’re human
just misunderstood.

LOL OK so there ya go.  I hope that made sense to you.
It makes sense to me :).  I’ve seen so many people that
refuse to admit they have ever made a mistake.  That in
my book is stupid.  Why try to hide your humanity?  I’ll
tell ya what,  I’ve made so many mistakes,  that I don’t
think a computer could keep tabs of them LOL.  If God
were writing them on a Holy chalk board,  He might end
end up with writers cramp :).  I am so thankful for His
Son that He gave to give forgiveness for all of our many
mistakes and sins.  I know through Jesus,  I have Heaven
waiting for me.  So I guess,  before I get back into Rambles
Ville,  I need to send out a special prayer request for my
good friend Jimmy in Oregon.  He has cancer and I’ve been
told he has but only 4 to 8 weeks to live.  Please put him in
your prayers.  I love that guy.  He’s been a friend of ours
for many years.  Hey Jimmy,  always remember,  God is
in control and no matter what,  (we will meet in Heaven).
Ok,  so I guess I need to tell you what I tell you every
week and that is,   I wrote some more poems and haiku.
Yeppers,  10 more poems with one of them being sort of
Christmassy and another one about Judy and me.  I also
wrote once again 22 haiku for all of my haiku lovers out
there.  I hope you find one or two of either or both that
you like.  Now,  it’s time for me to be searching for that
not so illusive off switch,  but not before I wish you a most
wonderful weekend and a blessings filled week.  Ok so
where is that silly off switch hiding this week?  Hmmm,
I thought I saw movement behind my monitor.  I see ya!
That would of been a good hiding spot if you hadn’t been
leaning on the stand making it rock back and forth hehehe.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

P.S. One of the haiku is about our friend Robin’s
dog in Texas.  The dog’s name is Ginger and she
likes to talk on the phone or should I say growl 🙂

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Scenes Forgotten

Times we’ve encountered
and things we’ve been through
are often forgotten
from here thereunto.
Things that we’ve seen in
the passed days of time
are often remembered
a bit out of line.
Some scenes forgotten
come flavorful back
with sight of pictures
that memories lack.
The years flow onwards
as timeframes display
some scenes forgotten
of some other day.
Often our heartbeats
will not remember when
those scenes forgotten
of time and again.
Yet it’s with pictures
of somewhere in time
that scenes forgotten
then come back on line.

Lesser is Better

Sometimes a little
is better by far
than that of whole lot
from near to afar.
Often our wanting’s
are not seeing right
for we might want things
in our mere excite.
Many times less than
is all that we need,
for it fulfills moments
to daily succeed.
Yet many people
still want so much more
when lesser is better
to fit through the door.
Life gives illusions
of what is much wetter
when it’s found sometimes
that lesser is better.

Dirty Windows

Surely sometimes
we look through
dirty windows
with our view.
Times distorted
through the glass
dirty windows
now and past.
It’s with cleaning
up your sight
that you might see
clearer light.
Dirty windows
can display
clouds of rain
on a sunny day.
Don’t let dirt to
cloud your view.
Clean your sight up
and see true.
Dirty windows
can become
only raindrops
in the sun.

Mornings Haze

Night will bring
a brand new gaze
found as often
mornings haze.
Sometimes sleepless
enters through
clouding up the
mornings view.
Mornings haze then
could turn bright
if the viewer
changes sight.
Letting not the
sleepless gaze
to allow the
mornings haze.
Find some peaceful
mornings hour
maybe in a
fragrant flower.
Look for blessings
here and there
then let haze to
lose its glare.

Looking Back Now

When clouds float by
they bring to mind
things remembered
time to time.
Looking back now
you might see
bits and pieces of
history.
Tomorrows journey
is found gazed
looking back now
quite amazed.
Things we’ve been through
made us strong
teaching us
what’s right and wrong.
Ages turnstiles
swings around
looking back now
town to town.
I myself see
where I’ve been
looking back now
and again.
I see journeys
footsteps made
looking back now
times crusade.
Aging footprints
I laid down
looking back now
turned around
bringing lessons
now today.
Looking back now
I’m OK.

The Oceans Waves

As waves roll in
upon the shore
a moments time
shows so much more.
Scenes uncovered
in my view
the oceans waves
of there and to.
Recollections
of those days
now are just a
photo phase.
Things we did
upon the beach
the oceans waves
were then in reach.
Now I view those
times we saw
as our favorite
times of awe.
We stood most days
in mornings sun
watching as the
days begun.
Picture taking
of our gaze
often of the
oceans waves.
The sounds of waves
just like before
gave us peace
upon the shore.
Now those days
are just a glance
the oceans waves
of times romance.

A Single Thought

A single time
a single thought
brings to mind
a time that’s sought.
Simple choices
that we choose
become voices
win or lose.
A page that’s turned
of times belief
might discern
a moments grief.
Yet some seconds
minutes pass
ones might reckon
gone too fast.
A single thought
of times gone by
might ask questions
how and why.
Leaving pages
without answers
as some ages
moments dancers.
Dancing as a
single thought
that’s gone away
and best unsought.

Why Can’t Christmas?

As time goes by
I find my gaze
searching for
those Christmas days.
The Christmas lights
and whitest snow
that’s found with Santa’s
HoHoHo.
I ask myself
what can I do
to bring that time
right back in view?
Then I search
and try to find
Christmas found
in summertime.
Why can’t Christmas
live all year
bringing always
love and cheer?
Oh so many
lose its joy
as each minute
does deploy.
Why can’t Christmas
be each day
even when it’s
gone away?
It should live on
in our heart
as a daily
work of art
flavored with some
Jesus love
come from Lord God
up above.

Summers Breeze

While time drifts by
with summers breeze
it leaves it’s passion
in the trees.
Rustling leaves
of timeless days
summers breeze
goes on its way.
Scenes transfixing
day and night
summers breeze
will make a sight.
Trees seen blowing
to and fro
as the summers
breeze will blow.
Even the sounds
of it’s own ways
summers breeze
gives peaceful days.
Relaxing sounds
with rushing wind
the summers breeze
is my best friend.
It cools the days
with just a breeze
as it rushes
through the trees.

Life Is Short

Don’t worry about
those things that passed
for life is short
and things won’t last.
The days we’ve hurried
everywhere
we might find
too short to care.
Life is short
with burning fuse
so don’t burden
win or lose.
Just enjoy
the days you find,
for life is short
and passing time.
Let your days be
done the best
and then take some
time to rest.
Life is short
so don’t fall prey
to not enjoying
day by day.
Find the good things
in your life
and don’t be filled
with only strife.
Life is short
so find some good
doing what
you know you should.

Haiku
for Aug 2,  2014

As hearts are beating
there is life in a moment
that can come and go.

Someone’s single thought
could change the worlds perception
if it’s put to use.

Living in the past
will prevent you from growing
and moving forward.

A little puppy
finds ways of displaying love
in just a mere growl.

Doorways we’ve entered
might be filled with many things
never expected.

Time’s not just minutes
but the uncounted pathways
that we never saw.

Living for today
makes way for your tomorrows
either good or bad.

Postponing your needs
for unnecessary wants
could find you empty.

Becoming forgiving
will allow peace in your heart
as time moves along.

Searching for trouble
might find more than you sought for
and end in great pain.

Looks of a liar
might have unfocused eyesight
with truth found within.

Leaves on windy days
will dance within the sunlight
with rustling sounds.

Change brings new doorways
to either enter or not
with chance found in place.

Leftover values
can become wrenching onslaughts
that might prevent change.

When seeking revenge
be prepared for a downfall
you weren’t prepared for.

Sometimes tomorrow
looks best when you have rested
and not just worried.

Lines on some paper
show us where we are to write,
but some do not care.

Efforts of a dewdrop
find a resting spot in time
that shines in the sun.

Beyond memories
are the times we’ve forgotten
with footsteps taken.

Looks of some starlight
will twinkle in the night sky
with eyes watching them.

Meaningless chatter
will often drive ones crazy
until understood.

Streams of waterways
sometimes flow in a rainstorm,
but cease when it’s done.
