ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

How’s it going in your part of the world? It’s
been sort of cold and rainy over this ways, but
not too bad. We only got a bit of snow Sunday
night and Monday. It’s almost non existent to
be seen now, but I’m sure we haven’t seen the
last of that white stuff hehehe. Our grandson
Christian came yesterday and spent the day
and night with us. He’s here right now playing
with his I Pad viewing videos on Youtube. Me
and him spend a lot of time on my computer
watching them when I’m not busy doing other
things such as writing. It’s sort of chilly today.
It’s 23 F degrees right now. Not too bad for
wintertime. It will most surely get much colder
before it’s over with hehehe. We had a great
Thanksgiving. We spent Thanksgiving day
over at Judy’s twin sister’s house. Rocky got
to meet some of his cousins for the first time.
He met Dennis and Trudy’s four yorkies. He
has already met the others. Rocky was real
good. He played with the other pooches and
there were no potty epidemics from him. Yep,
he was a good dog, but he ate too much of
the turkey scraps. I think he might of gotten
a hold of some turkey skin and that’s not good
for dogs. He ended up with diarrhea and a
tummy ache, but he’s OK now. We played
2 of the games that I had bought last year
after Thanksgiving. Being we had so much
fun playing games then, I thought I might
find some different games for us to play 🙂
1 of the games was called You Must Be An
Idiot and we liked it the best. The other
was called I’m With Stupid and we all got a
chance to wear the dunce hat that says I’m
Stupid. All in all we had a blast. I took a
number of pictures of us all wearing the
dunce hat and Judy took the rest being
I couldn’t take a picture of myself very
well hehehe. Judy and I watched a few
Christmas movies Friday night and we
watched one last night with Christian 🙂
I think we might put our Christmas tree
up this week and hopefully Rocky doesn’t
try to yank everything off of it. Benny
and Milo always just wanted to sit and
look at it. Rocky on the other hand is a
little bit hyper if ya know what I mean 🙂
Maybe he will surprise us and not mess
with it. Maybe even he will just want to
look at it the same as Benny. No matter,
the tree is going up and Judy and I are
also planning on doing our Christmas
pictures with us and the boys being we
have many with Milo, but none with
Rocky YET. He has come a long ways
and he’s learned to let us know when he
needs to go potty. This morning, I was
lying on my right side facing the edge
of the bed and he came up and gave me
a lick on the face saying, GOTTA GO.
So when I said ya gotta go, even Benny
hopped up and ran with him to the door.
I guess he figured, why wait hehehehe?
Yep, now if he would just let us cut his
hair. Benny enjoys getting his hair cut
as he will most times just lie there and
go to sleep. It took both Judy and I to
try and hold Rocky in one place to give
him a hair cut and we still never got done.
We tried to cut his toe nails, but once
again, he’s hard to hold. We might give
it another try later, but then maybe take
him to the vet to have them do it LOL.
Judy and I have got scars on our arms
and legs where he jumps up wanting
to play and that hurts. We know he
doesn’t mean it, but those claws must
be trimmed LOL. Benny’s needs to be
trimmed as well, but he doesn’t jump
on us like Rocky does. Benny used to,
but he’s grown out of it 🙂 I’m sure
that Rocky will too, but we’re thinking
not soon enough hehehehehe. Oh well,
next topic. It’s supposed to get down
to 9 F degrees by tomorrow morning.
I am so happy that our landlord finally
got our furnace working again. Our
water would surely freeze at 9 F LOL.
We would be OK with our radiator
heaters in here and in our bedroom,
but there is none in the bathroom or
in the other part of the house. We’ve
got an extra radiator heater, but our
breaker box will not suffice that much
juice coming from all of the heaters,
plus our electric bill is high enough
already, we don’t need to add to it.
Hmm, tomorrow is my moms B Day
and I will write her a birthday poem
like I try to do every once in a while.
My sister Peggy’s birthday is Dec 6
and I might write her one too. I miss
them. I wish they could of made it up
for the fall colors, but maybe next
year. I am excited to see my daughter
and granddaughter as well as Jamye’s
boyfriend and his son this Christmas.
I hope she’s not ashamed of our home.
Judy and I are happy, but she might
see it as a slum. I hope not. We’re not
rich and we cannot afford a fancy home.
We look for the good in the moments
and the scenery. No matter, I’m sure
we will have a wonderful visit. I hope
it’s not the one year that it decides not
to snow for Christmas. That would
be a bummer. We’ve had snow for
Christmas every single year since 2007
when we moved up here so hopefully
it doesn’t change. I know, most of
the people that are from up here hate
the snow, but I love it. I hate the
slush that comes when it’s melting
and ice that comes when it freezes
again, but love the snow hehehehe.
It creates some magical scenes that
I manage to often capture in photos.
It could be that I’m a born and raised
Texan and I never had the chance to
experience snow like this down there.
Yep, seeing snow tends to turn me
into a kid again, wanting to go and
play in it. I am getting antsy to use
our new snow blower. The snow
that we had Monday wasn’t quite
enough for me to use it. I’m sure I’ll
have many times to use it as winter
plants its foot firmly in place hehehe.
I know it gets cold, but God gives
us the beauty to make up for the
coldness. For everything that we
might see as bad, there is good to
come from it if we look hard enough.
Yes, there are many things that we
might say to ourselves, where is
the good, but somewhere in God’s
plans there is the good. He knows
the future and right now might be
confusing, but the puzzle is not yet
fully in place. Have you ever been
putting together a puzzle without the
picture to go by? Did you in those
moments wonder if it would ever
come together and what it would
look like? Yes I’m sure many of
you have. I know I have. It’s the
same with life. We don’t know what
the picture is supposed to look like
and our own decisions of what it
should be begin to interfere. Let
God be your guide as you use some
common sense to do what’s right.
Don’t let others negativity to change
your views to the wrong path of
life. Now I believe I have rambled
quite enough and it’s time for me to
begin my search back through all
that I’ve written here to see if I can
find a good word or phrase that I
can use for the title of today’s brand
new poem. So, it’s away I go to
that place of my recollection that I
always like to call RECOLLECT
VILLE. I think I found a decent
title near the middle of my rambling.
Now, let’s see what, if anything at
all I can do with it. Here goes 🙂

Cannot Afford

Now as the days pass
Thanksgiving is found
leftover memories
coming around.
Times we were seeking
and left in the rain
maybe transfixed on
all of our pain.
That thought comes to be
that we cannot afford,
but often our views are
not of The Lord.
Money’s true value
is to provide home and food
with I cannot afford
words found misconstrued.
Now look at each day
as what they can be
while learning the lessons
from our history.
Don’t let I cannot afford
to sadden your heart,
for there are many others
that need our impart.
Ones without money
and no food to eat
cannot afford anything
veggies or meat.
Be thankful for blessings
that God has given you
and then I cannot afford
won’t be all you view.

So, there ya go, a little Thanksgiving poem.
I hope you liked it, but if not, Oh well. I can’t
please everybody LOL. I hope I didn’t put you
to sleep with my rambling. but if I did I guess
you needed a nap. Just call me Mr. Sandman
hehehe. Christians mom came just a little bit
ago and visited and took Christian home. He
was a tired boy. I went to bed around 3:30,
but they stayed up watching videos till about
5:00 and when Rocky came licking me in the face
this morning around 8:30, to tell me he needs
to go potty, Christian was still up sitting in
the recliner playing with his I Pad. So I’m
sure he didn’t sleep much hehehe. It’s always
nice having him around. I wish Chance the
oldest grandson could come and visit, but
he is a busy young man. Christian is 14 and
Chance is 19. Chances little sister Rylee
is a cutie. We love her to death. She likes
to bang on my conga drums hehehe. It’s
obvious that God is looking out for us as
we watch each day go by. Thank You
God for all that You have done for us 🙂
Now I believe it’s time for me to tell you
what I tell you almost every week and that
is, I wrote some more poems and haiku.
Yep, 10 more poems with 5 of them being
Christmas poems and 1 being actually sort
of Christmassy titled A Lonely Snowflake.
I also wrote once again 22 haiku for all
of the haiku lovers out there. I hope you
can find 1 or 2 of either or both that you
like. Now it’s time for me to begin my
search for that (lately) not so elusive off
switch, but not before I wish you a most
wonderful weekend or whatever’s left
of it and a truly blessings filled week.
Remember, Jesus loves you and we do
too. OK, so where are ya hiding this
time you silly off switch? I hope that’s
not you I see behind my Advair hehehe.
If it is, for crying out loud, you’ve gotta
be kidding. It is you ya little varmint 😉
I think you’ve become lazier as each
week has passed hehehe. Try harder
next time. Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzz.

God bless from Bill, Judy, Benny, Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Golden Threads

Hearts united
miles apart,
golden threads
are like pure art.
Sewn together
day to day,
golden threads
a wondrous way.
Similar views
within design,
golden threads
will then entwine.
Hearts connected
to and fro,
golden threads
will surely grow.
Passions doorway
opens wide,
golden threads
to be well tied.
Days uncounted
might just seem,
golden threads
a wondrous dream.
With the pages
many read,
golden threads
will plant a seed.

Life and Times

Passed days thought of
at a glance
are a life and times
of song and dance.
Many turnstiles
entered through
are a life and times
of something new.
Some found dismal,
some found grand
are the life and times
ones sit and stand.
So many journeys
are found in place
as a life and times
ones might disgrace.
Yet, many turnstiles
that find our eyes
are a life and times
with beautiful skies.
Don’t look at then days
as better to see,
for sometimes the worst
is our history,
but many viewpoints
are lemons and limes
viewed incorrectly
as our life and times.

Christ In The Day

Some start illusions
of what Christmas is
lost in perception
of TV’s show biz.
Many commercials
with their selling game,
only sought prices
and not Jesus Name.
Lost in the culture
of many sought more,
Christ in the day
was not in a store.
Yet as time’s passed by
we’ve let greed to win
while Christ in the day
was forgiven from sin.
Let this years Christmas
show truly the way
the same as it did then
with Christ in the day.
Be thankful for blessings
and all that is true
and let Christ in the day,
now live within you.

The Lonely Snowflake

Winter winds blowing
as the weather grows cold
shows snowflakes floating
just like times of old.
The seasonal patterns
of snowflakes that land
will often become as
a place where I stand.
Yet a few moments
will show just one flake
floating from the sky
as my eyes partake.
The lonely snowflake
just floats in the breeze,
seeking for the ground
but lands in the trees.
It’s just a portion
of what’s yet to come
seen as so lonely
it’s own beating drum.
But soon there are others
that follow its cue
as the lonely snowflake
started the view.
Snowflakes fall faster
as more comes to be
to join the lonely snowflake
that one I did see.
Then I could swear
I could see for a while
the lonely snowflake
with a great big smile.

Christmas Coming Soon

Now as I sit here
I watch and I wait
Christmas coming soon
my heart does elate.
Seeking for old Santa
and his flying sleigh
I dream of Christmas
that wonderful day.
My inner emotions
transfixed upon then
Christmas coming soon
I want to begin.
Remembering Jesus
the manger in the hay
I seek for the blessings
that wonderful day
Christmas coming soon
is a joy to acquire
seeking to hear ones
songs of a choir.
Singing of Lord Jesus
and even Santa Claus
teaching us of giving
without an applause.
I’m now just thinking
of each Christmas tune
that is so merry with
Christmas coming soon.

A Star I See

Christmas Eve
I watch and wait
sat in bed
so very late.
A star I see
I wish upon
and it quickly
just moves on.
I seek the jingle
sounds to hear,
Santa’s sleigh
this time of year.
My eyes grow tired
and I can’t no more
keep them open
to explore.
A moments time
is then a dream
Santa flying
so to seem.
I’m then awakened
by a sound
I look up then
and all around.
I go downstairs
real slow and quiet
and I see him
in the night.
Santa there
with a great big sack
laying presents
in a stack.
He looked at me
and gave a wink
and up the chimney
in a blink.
I found that night
a star I see,
might of been him
watching me.

So Many Nights

Lights all a glistening
colors so bright,
seem to be living
as Christmas takes flight.
So many nights
are filled full of wonder,
from over here
to way over yonder.
Christmas beginnings
as each day moves on,
as so many nights
are lit up till dawn.
December glimmers
of wonderful sights,
found within Christmas
of so many nights.
Christmas trees decked out
with lights all aglow
and some even sprayed with
a can of white snow.
Trees in the distance
outside I can see
are so many nights
God’s given to me.
Blessings uncountable
with Christmas inlaid,
so many nights are
Jesus displayed.
Christmastimes scenes
all decked out with snow,
found so many nights
with everywhere I go.
So as we drive onwards
while looking at lights,
I see all the blessings in
so many nights.

Lost In A Dream

Wonders we imagine
in dreams that we view
at night while we’re sleeping
might one day come true.
A voyage in the sky
with a magical way
riding with Santa
in his wonderful sleigh.
Lost in a dream then
alive with passion
dreaming of Christmas
maybe old fashioned.
Life in a moments time
then comes alive
while lost in a dream
and learning to fly.
Scenes filled with snowflakes
falling so free
become as a real place
happy to see.
While lost in a dream
the Christmastime glow
comes forth with Santa
and white fallen snow.
Even some icicles
that your dream procures
seems to be magical
mystery tours.
Time becomes minutes
of a Christmassy stream
glistening truly
lost in a dream.

God At The Wheel

Driving through decades
of turbulent notions
we’re needing God to
heal our commotion’s.
For we’ve so often
allowed time to sway
and cause us to judge ones
a wrongful display.
With God at the wheel
we might have a chance
to find us some peaceful
a moments advance.
Yet being human
we all want control
while that so often
will cost a great toll.
I think we each need to
not judge so harsh
and put all the wrong ones
in a deep marsh.
Let God be your guide
to choose what is right
and then you might find
the truth in The Light.
Don’t drive your life
with a wish to conceal.
Try to drive surely
with God at the wheel.

Desperate Measures

Now is now
and then is gone,
minutes ticking
dusk to dawn.
Desperate measures
come in sight,
sometimes as
a moments fright.
Learning lessons
now and then,
becomes tools to
help begin.
Desperate measures
God bestows
on each one
that thinks he knows.
Surely we don’t
know it all
and we sometimes
surely fall.
Desperate measures
often find
God with lessons
for our mind.
Sometimes painted
as someone,
that we may have
chose to shun.
Then Lord Jesus
comes to give
desperate measures
ways to live.

Haiku
for Nov 27, 2015

Too many people
will live only for themselves
and nobody else.

Seasonal snowflakes
come with their own perception
and how they must look.

A small blade of grass
holds onto life through winter,
but looks like it’s dead.

A fleeting moment
is often just a fragment
of all that’s to be.

A ripple in time
might seem like an ocean wave,
but be just a pond.

Eyes that we look through
will often get real dirty
if we don’t clean them.

Various thinking
can conclude multiple thoughts
that might not be good.

A bridge over time
creates some hurried moments
that we need to see.

Basking in sunlight
will often cause us sunburns
if exposed too long.

The needs of many
are still the needs of the few,
but just all combined.

A dogs forgiveness
is that which we should all learn
and not hold grudges.

A persons heartbeat
is many times misconceived
as how they survive.

When painting pictures
you must look within yourself
to find ability.

Cherishing flowers
can become your own downfall
as they lose their bloom.

Beyond the starlight
there’s a world of the unknown
waiting to be seen.

Simplistic moments
might often seem as too large
at the time they’re seen.

The winds of winter
bring forth many things to view
carried by the breeze.

Life in a turnstile
will often display chances,
but end when they’re closed.

With happy and sad
comes different perceptions
and how we view them.

A small cloud of white
can hold its own for a while,
but needs more to storm.

A little drizzle
is so often overlooked
as it hides lightning.

Our tomorrow’s wants
might all change as it arrives,
for we do also.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

We are enjoying having heat 🙂 LOL
Our landlord finally got our furnace
working again. That’s great. It was
just a tad cold in our living room and
kitchen being we only use radiators
in our bedroom and PC room. The
bathroom was a tad cold as well, but
now with the furnace running it feels
quite nice. It’s supposed to snow late
tonight and tomorrow morning so I
might get a chance to try out our new
snow blower hehehe. I’m sure that
if not, it will get used later on without
a doubt LOL. Right now it’s dark and
45 F degrees. Mornings temperature
is supposed to be 31 F and the high
for tomorrow is supposed to be the
same. Of course tomorrow night it’s
supposed to drop to 21 F degrees 🙂
This November is more like the ones
we had from 2008 to 2013. Last year
2014 November was already white 🙂
With temperatures bouncing around
it would snow, then melt and then it
would snow, etc, etc, etc. This time
we might not have that problem or
at least not that much. When winter
gets a firm grip, the snows will begin
piling up mounds upon mounds and
the snowplows will start their chore
of clearing the roads day and night.
Judy just got home from visiting her
brother at the nursing home way up
north of us. She took a lot of pictures.
Her and her sister Barbara went up
and had Thanksgiving dinner with
him. Judy said he was very happy
that they showed up. In the pictures
he looks happy. He was even using
his prosthetic leg to walk of course
using a walker for balance, but in
time he’ll learn to walk using it :).
I felt like I was having a stroke just
a bit ago, but I’m doing better now.
My right eye started doing a repeat
of what my left eye did before I lost
it. I called my mom and sat with my
eyes shut while talking to her. Then
after I while, it all passed. Thank
God. If I lose my right eye, I will
be legally blind, being my left eye
is useless and nothing can be done
for it. Oh well, I’m better now and
so next topic. I took the boys out
for a little stroll in the field today.
OK, they took me hehehe. They
were out there before I even got 10
feet out. When they figured out that
we were going for a field trip, they
were like little rockets running side
by side heading out there. When I
got out there I called out to them
and Rocky came running hehehehe.
Benny came afterwards of course,
being he likes to act like he can’t
hear me, but if you holler TREATS
or FOOD he comes running LOL.
He ain’t deaf. He’s just ornery 🙂
It’s raining right now. We don’t
need anymore rain hehehe. We’re
already waterlogged. Calvin, our
landlord got stuck in our yard when
trying to move a flatbed trailer that
he had parked in our driveway 🙂
Then he went and got his tractor
to try and pull out his truck and he
got his tractor stuck LOL. Yep the
ground is wet. Anyways, he ended
up using his backhoe bucket to sort
of push his tractor out of the mud
and then he got around to the front
of his truck and pulled it out hehehe.
It was good entertainment. Calvin
is a good man, but he didn’t think
this one through. He brought us a
turkey this morning after Judy had
left. It’s a small turkey and I stuck
in our freezer. It might end up over
at Judy’s sister Trudy’s house and
be cooked for Christmas when my
daughter and granddaughter come
up. We often spend the holidays
over their house being their house
is bigger than ours. Maybe not
bigger, but set up for wheel chairs
and Judy’s mom cannot walk and
is in a wheel chair. A wheel chair
will not fit through our doorways,
plus we only have steps, no ramp.
Boy the days are getting shorter
as winter moves on. Sunrise was
6:40 AM and sunset was 3:52 PM.
Sunrise will be 6:42 in the morning
and sunset will be 3:51 PM. The
nearer to the middle of December
the shorter the days will be. Yep
and the coldness will become more
cold hehehe. Judy just went in
the kitchen to fix her and I some
grilled cheese sandwiches. She
said they ate around noon so she’s
hungry too. I had fixed me and
the boys some eggs and sausage
earlier today, but that has worn
off. It’s 5:30 PM right now and
my stomach is talking to me and
it’s saying GRILLED CHEESE.
Cheese doesn’t bother me as much
as other foods. LOL it’s binding 🙂
Without a colon I need something
a bit binding hehehe. My mom and
dad used to laugh at me when I said
that, but they totally understood 🙂
My mom still gets a laugh when I
say I need some cheese. Yeppers,
ya gotta laugh at the problems due
to crying not solving anything LOL.
Life has thrown a few curve balls
my way, but I’ve managed to survive.
I found a woman that loves me and
cares for me as much as I love and
care for her. All in all, life hasn’t
been too bad. I could sit and let
myself to get caught up in despair
over things that have happened to
me, but it would not change a thing.
So, I try my best to not let myself
to fall into that rut of sadness and
I try to focus on the good things.
Of course it does get hard at times
when problems seem to come in
from every which way, but God
pulls us through. Maybe not the
way that we would want it, but
none the less what we need. If
life were just a pathway of easy
street. we would not earn any
tools for our future. I have been
down many bumpy roads of which
that I would rather not of gone
down, but they gave me many
lessons making today’s troubles
to be not so bad. All I have to
do is remember what I went
through and then I know that
I can handle what’s before me.
Of course it doesn’t always work
out that way LOL. Sometimes
the lessons of today turn out to
be the tools for another day and
right now just seems like Hell, but
rest assured, God is there with
you to give you strength through
prayer. Don’t try to do it alone.
Now I believe it’s time for me to
read back on all that I’ve written
here to see if I can find a good
word or phrase that I can use
for the title of today’s brand new
poem. So, it’s away I go to that
lil place of my recollection that I
always like to call RECOLLECT
VILLE. I think I may have found
a decent title just a few lines back
and now to see what I can do with
it hehehe. Here goes…..

Seems Like Hell

What now displays
might not show right
with chosen patterns
found with fright.
What seems like Hell
might surely be
Heaven’s doorway
to help you see.
Sometimes moments
might fall prey
to our troubles
swish and sway.
Without our troubles
you might not grow
to know the things
that you now know
What now is seen
might teach you well.
Times God answered
just seems like Hell.
Yet those lessons
brought you through
to a hopeful
better you.

There ya go 🙂 I hope you understood
the poem. I know it’s not that good 🙂
but I tried hehehe. Hopefully though
you got the meaning of it. I also hope
that you enjoyed my rambling. If not,
then, I’m so sorry hehehe, not LOL.
Sometimes you may not understand
my ramblings and that’s OK. Maybe
next time. Well my tummy is full now.
I had to stop for a brief just a bit ago
to eat my grilled cheese sandwiches.
I wasn’t able to eat the 3 that my eyes
said I wanted hehehe and so I gave
half of one to the boys. I broke it
up into 4 pieces. They loved it LOL.
They wanted more. Not me, I am
FULL and immediately headed for
the bathroom being I’m without a
colon and it slid right through me like
a toboggan hehehe. Food doesn’t
stay with me very long which keeps
me confused to why I weigh as much
as I do LOL. Yes of course it was
the steroids that the doctors OD’d
me on to try to control my Ulcerative
Colitis. Yep, that swole me right
up and it ain’t going away. LOL
I lost my colon and a 3rd of my
small intestines anyways, what a
trip hehehe. Ok, so I guess I have
told you all that needs to be told 🙂
So now I reckon I need to tell you
what I tell you almost every week
and that is I wrote some more poems
and haiku. Yep, 10 more poems with
5 of them once again being sort of
Christmassy 🙂 Also I wrote 22 more
haiku for all of the haiku lovers out
there. I hope you can find 1 or 2
of either or both that you like. So
now I guess it’s time for me to begin
my search for that not so elusive
off switch, but not before I wish you
a most wonderful weekend or what
ever is left of it and a truly blessings
filled week and Happy Thanksgiving.
OK, now where are ya hiding you
little varmint. You’ve had so many
chances to find good hiding places,
but you seem to never use them.
You do know that you are fairly
easy to see right behind that tiny
flashlight don’t ya hehehehehehe.
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill, Judy, Benny, Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Above The Earth

The sky so blue
extends so far
and then there is
the nearest star,
Above the Earth
there is a place
that’s surely found
with Holy Grace.
The love that’s there
is great to find
above the Earth
and all mankind.
This special place
is Heavenly
above the Earth
where we can’t see,
but it’s doors
will open wide
to let our souls
to come inside.
Above the Earth
with streets of gold
there is pure love
that time’s foretold.
That place in Heaven
for our rebirth
is found with God
above the Earth.

A Ground Of White

As winter winds blow
and snowflakes fall
a ground of white
is seen overall.
The seasonal joy
is found on cue
with Christmastime
to surely view.
A ground of white
will grow then beyond
a running stream
to a frozen pond.
That Christmas music
that many will sing
is often found
with a popcorn string.
A great Christmas tree
that ones so delight
might be outside
in a ground of white.

A Christmas Heart

Thousands of seasons
a moment apart
ones will be found
with a Christmas heart.
Strumming with blessings
with hearts violin
a Christmas heart
will then enter in.
Songs about Jesus
and some about dreams.
Some about Santa
and reindeer in teams.
A person much older
might not still believe,
but one day when younger,
they sought to achieve.
With a Christmas heart
as blessings fulfill,
so many seasons
might lessen the thrill.
So now this moment
look deep down within
to a Christmas heart
that lived way back when.
Find that great magic
that Jesus brought you
and then maybe dream of
Santa so true
You might be enlightened
with what all you see,
for you might just find
your hearts history.

Thanksgiving Day

Time to be thankful,
time to look passed
what that is displayed
shadows you cast.
Thankful for Jesus,
thankful for all
so many blessings
from winter to fall.
Thanksgiving Day
is a day many eat
and some do not even
thank God for the meat.
There are ones so poor,
that have not a home
and Thanksgiving Day
is spent all alone.
Some do not even
have a nickel or dime
to buy them a meal
and not for a time.
So now this season
I’m praying for them
on Thanksgiving Day
that are out on a limb.
If you can help one
then give from your heart
and Thanksgiving Day
will in them so impart.

A Deep Space Journey

I dream of a space craft
that takes me away
on a deep space journey
to another times day.
A place where the people
are joined all together,
not fighting in wars,
in peace now forever.
My eyes lock so tightly
on smiles to and fro
as there is happiness
everywhere I go.
This journey’s so wondrous
as it seems I can feel
everyone’s heartbeat
that beats so surreal.
Yes, a deep space journey
to a wonderful place
that God had created
so far out in space.

Beyond A Snowflake

A midst the coldness
of wintertime’s days
snowflakes are falling
in so many ways.
Some as a blizzard
and some soft and slow
landing creating
some piles of white snow.
Beyond a snowflake
holds so many styles
that joined together
will often find smiles.
Giving the settings
for Christmas to be
often with the sight of
a great Christmas tree.
Beyond a snowflake
there might be a place
floating so wondrous
and filled with Gods grace.
So look more closely
at snowflakes you find
and see the blessings
that come Christmastime.
Often a snowflake
will have more to see
peace that is given
from Jesus for free.
Beyond a snowflake
you might find a smile
that Christmas brought you
in wintertime’s while.

A Prism of White

In a field I can see
in my mind Christmas Day
a prism of white
with a wondrous display.
Snowflakes found falling
in places thereunto,
a prism of white
with a Christmassy view.
Yet, it’s just a dream,
but soon it will fall
as each day is counted
that I can recall .
The snows are yet falling,
but soon they will be
creating some blessings
for my eyes to see.
Christmassy settings
in billows of white
from prisms of snowfall
that fell in the night.
Then when awakened
my eyes look upon
Christmastimes blessings
while singing a song.
A song about Christmas
and all that is great
from God The Father
what did create.
A prism of white
that falls to the Earth
reminds me of love
and Jesus Christ’s birth.

Losing Your Mind

Life and it’s troubles
might wear you away,
losing your mind
and making you gray.
Don’t let the passed to
become all you see,
for today is brand new
and then is history.
Losing your mind
over things long ago
might just prevent you
from lifetimes to grow.
Learn to forgive
both them and then you
and then move along
to a new life to view.
Time is a doorway
that cannot go back,
so losing your mind,
won’t get it on track.
Do the best you can
with today and tomorrow
and try not to fill
your life full of sorrow.
Losing your mind
over things you have done
might only cease
your new days to come.
Let God to help you
with better to find.
Don’t just continue
losing your mind.

A Certain Sleigh

With children sound asleep
on Christmas Eves night
the jingling sounds
on the rooftop alight.
Some reindeer hooves
then clatter about
with a certain sleigh
without a doubt.
Then there’s the sounds
of someone up there
on the roof in the night
that flew through the air.
With a twinkling sound
the children still sleep
sugarplum fairies
dancing so sweet.
It must be Santa
down the chimney he came
doing his magic
each one by name.
Then when he’s done
he heads on his way
back to the skies
in a certain sleigh.
Calling to his reindeer
to tell them to go
while giving out a large
HOHOHOHO.
Saying Merry Christmas
and a goodnight
as a certain sleigh
fades fast out of sight.

Hearing Yourself

Words within anger
will create a page
written regretful
that’s seen center stage.
Hearing yourself
on later days found
might create sadness
in all that’s around.
Think before speaking
and then you might hear
better tomorrow’s
not a sad yesteryear.
Listen to your thoughts
before you speak out
and then you might not
end up in a bout.
If speaking too soon
and hearing yourself.
you might just regret
what’s there on the shelf.
So, listen to your thoughts,
before making a scene
and then think it over
to know what you mean.

Haiku
for Nov 21, 2015

Wintertime’s mornings
bring a fresh scent of snowflakes
as it gets deeper.

The air of shadows
creates personality
that needs another.

A lost cloud of time
might find itself in the midst
of others one day.

Perception of time
is that which a second finds
as minutes gather.

Too many people
only see what others do
and not what they do.

Choice is a doorway
that will open and then close
showing good and bad.

The lines on a face
often show ones history
either smiles or frowns.

So many seasons
get lost within the shuffle
from expectancy.

Perceived as what’s right
some miss what that’s important
and lose the meaning.

Futures deception
can become moments nightmare
without any proof.

Blessings from Lord God
are often mistaken times
that we did not want.

A road to nowhere
actually leads to somewhere,
for it is a place.

Cantankerous minds
will find many obstructions,
even if there’s not.

Vindictive people
will never truly find peace
as they’re with anger.

Remembered flowers
can still bloom within the mind
as our memories.

Harnessing chapters
of a longwinded story
might need shortening.

Gradient thresholds
that our feet have been upon
might show a few slides.

Bringing now to life
allows then to fade away
as now supersedes.

Claiming what’s a lie
and not living with the truth
can create hatred.

Various seasons
come to life with emotions
that we might not see.

Change within one self
might not be seen by others
until that change is fact.

Novembers gateway
has glimmers of December
hidden in its view.

Your frosty friend Bill 🙂

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been cold and wet the last few days, but
not too cold. We’ve seen a lot worse for sure 🙂
This November is being more like they’ve been
before last years snowy outbreak. I’m happy
for that being it means there isn’t melting snow
to be turned into slush and then ice that causes
many problems. Snow, I can handle. It can be
quite beautiful, but the after affects which is ice
and of course that nasty slush can cause a lot
of havoc. Right now it’s 37 F degrees and sort
of rainy. It’s supposed to be about 29 F degrees
by Monday morning and that’s not bad for this
time of year. I am anxious to see my daughter
and granddaughter this Christmas. I hope that
nothing happens to prevent them from coming.
Please God, keep them well and safe. Next
topic. Judy and her sisters and daughters got
together Saturday as they do once a month and
had their craft session. This time they made
dreamcatchers. Judy’s came out quite nice 🙂
She took pictures of everybody else’s and they
all came out pretty good too. It was Judy’s first
try at making a dreamcatcher, but I think she
did a pretty good job at it. Last Tuesday I did
some videos of me playing my conga drums 🙂
I only published 1 of them on my Youtube and
Facebook LOL. The 1 I did before it was good,
but my left leg got weak and made me sort of
almost fall nearing the end of the video hehehe.
I might yet upload that video, but don’t want
people to think I was drunk LOL. My left leg
has had a lot of work done on it and it’s weak.
Oh well, at least my right leg still works sort
of hehehe. Anyways, a little later after I had
rested a bit, Judy and I took the boys out for
a little field trip. LOL they’ve gotten to where
they often go on their own, but they love it
when we come too. When we mention going
outside for a walk, the dancing begins and
Benny starts talking telling us how excited
he is 🙂 We took some more pictures of us
out in the field with the boys. Judy is in the
bedroom right now giving the boys haircuts.
They were getting a little too bushy looking.
I cut a ton of hair off of Benny last night,
because he was getting his paws caught up
in his hair every time he would scratch or
something hehehe. The poor guy. I felt
I had to sheer off some of that stuff. He
still has plenty of hair. Judy trimmed him
up a little more just now and has put her
attention on Rocky. They had way too much
hair on them. We have sweaters for them
to wear, that will also keep them warm,
but too much hair can become a problem
as it holds the snow and becomes heavy
on their little legs LOL. 🙂 After I cut
Benny’s hair last night, he got all excited
and began running all over the house with
Rocky as they played chase. I guess he
felt a little lighter hehehe. It looked like
I had enough hair to create a dog doll
the same size as Benny is now hehehehe.
I imagine it will be the same outcome with
Rocky LOL. Believe it or not, I’ve got
my radio station on Traditional Holiday
Christmas music on my Dish radio LOL.
I love Christmas music. I listened to it
all day yesterday while Judy was over
at her sisters house, while I read Judy’s
sci-fi novel. I was reading it allowed and
Rocky was in the floor beside me all the
while just looking up at me listening as
if he understood what I was saying 🙂
Benny was in here for a bit, but he made
his way back into the living room to wait
for mom to get home. He keeps watch
in there hehehe. Judy just came in here
for a break from hair trimming. Benny
is looking good, but Rocky has a long
ways to go hehehe. He looks a little bit
like a small woolly mammoth and I bet
ya that after a hair cut he won’t weigh
as much as he does now LOL. I think
Benny may have lost a few pounds. He
lost quite a bit of hair ya know hehehe.
Now, what next? Oh yea, the other
day I had Rocky sitting in my lap and
Judy got out her camera and took a few
pictures. Him and Benny both love to
sit in my lap or better yet sleep in my
lap LOL. I guess I’ve got a Santa lap 🙂
They often bicker about which is going
to sit in my lap and it gets a tad noisy
in here hehehe. Gotta love them boys.
Oh yea, our furnace is still not working.
Our landlord came and tried once again
to get it going Saturday, but has decided
that the transformer in it is busted and
needs a new one. I told him he might
want to hurry, because the temperature
is slowly dropping. We are OK in here
and in our bedroom, but we need the
furnace to heat our bathroom and the
other part of the house to mainly keep
the pipes from freezing. He said he’d
get it done as fast as he can. Of course
to him, that means when he remembers.
LOL he does have a bad memory. No
matter, I’m sure we’ll be OK. We’ve
been through worse scenarios and God
has pulled us through. So we’ll survive.
Our landlord has been busy trying to
get the trailer house that he just pulled
in ready for someone to move in before
the heavy snows begin. They’ve been
working into the night on it. Now if he
would just hurry and get over here and
fix this one hehehe. Benny and Rocky
are now lying in the floor fast asleep.
I guess the Christmas music is sort of
relaxing. I’m getting a little sleepy too,
but then I haven’t had much more than
an hour of sleep since yesterday thanks
to our landlord getting an early start
on the trailer house behind us. Benny
heard them and he began barking and
my sleep was ended. Of course I rarely
get but about 30 minutes to an hours
worth a sleep a day anyways due to my
health issues that cannot be resolved.
Sleep? What is this thing that thouest
knows not of, this thing of which you
call sleep. Is it the waking of the aches
or the vile misbehaving muscles that
tend to throb whilst thou lies upon a flat
soft surface that ones often call a bed?
LOL, nope I don’t sleep much due to
the loss of my colon and arthritis that
has taken over my whole body and there
isn’t anything that can be done about it.
So, I just do as best I can to grab a nap
hither and to hehehe. I’ve survived now
for over 20 years doing that LOL and
I ain’t died yet. Judy picked out a few
chapters in her novel that she wants me
to check and make sure they’re OK, so
as soon as I get done here, I’ll go and
give them a read. Then I’ll go back to
where I left off yesterday, book 1 chapter
11 🙂 The book might not be everyone’s
cup of tea, but I’m sure many of you
will totally enjoy it. I know I am and
it’s not just because she’s my wife. OK,
that might have a little bit to do with it,
but it is a good story 🙂 I sent my mom
the 1st 2 chapters of it to read. I hope
she likes it. Well, what else is there
to yammer about? Judy got an email
from the nursing home where Ricky
her brother is staying and it had some
pictures of Ricky in his Halloween garb.
He looks like he’s doing well. I’m glad
he is making some friends there. He’s
a great guy. I’m sure he will learn to
use his prosthetic leg in time. Prayer
does work. God has a way of putting
us where we are needing to be whether
we like it or not at the time. Sometimes
it’s to help us to move from the past
and take on a brand new future course.
This has helped him to get out of his
shell and meet people. Drastic you say.
Some people need drastic measures
to happen to make them do what they
need to do. I was a hard learner also
and went through a lot, but the lessons
were learned. Though this day and age
I have become less hard to learn, for
I have lost the stubborn part of me
that had haunted me for years. Now,
I just try to do what’s best for me and
my family. Judy and I have God always
watching over us and there are times
that we can feel His Mighty Breath
within our home. Blessings come to us
that there is no explanation for except
that God provided. Have you allowed
God in your life? Have you let lose of
the past to find better days with Jesus?
If not, why not today? It doesn’t mean
that things will be all rosy, but it does
mean that you won’t be going it alone
and He will give you strength to make
it through the toughest storms. Now,
I believe it’s time for me to be taking
my little venture back through all that
I’ve written here to see if I can find a
good word or phrase that I can use for
the title for today’s brand new poem.
I think I found a decent title just a little
ways back. Now let’s see what I can
do with it if anything hehehehehehehe.
Here goes……..

Drastic Measures

Times of troubles
come to be
drastic measures
that we see.
Moments turmoil
fall in place
drastic measures
saved by grace.
Often doorways
open wide
allowing drastic
to provide.
Lessons billowed
then in turn
drastic measures
help you learn.
For so often
time is found
with but only
you Hell bound.
Drastic measures
God has sent
to teach ones
that are Hell bent.

OK, there ya go. Yes I know. It’s not that
great, but then I’m not perfect ya know LOL.
No matter, I hope you at least enjoyed my
rambling and it didn’t just bore ya to death 🙂
Thanksgiving day is getting closer with each
passing moment. Yep and I bet I will put on
some more pounds hehehe. I’ll try not to eat
too much, but you know how that goes LOL.
Yep, Thursday after next is turkey day or it
is for most. I myself don’t care much for it,
but my brother in law Dennis cooks a pretty
mean turkey and I did go back for seconds.
I shouldn’t have, but I did, so there ptttttt 🙂
I guess that’s about all there is to tell you.
Now I reckon it’s time for me to tell you
what I tell you almost every week and that
is, I wrote some more poems and haiku.
Yeppers, 10 more poems, but this week
6 of them are Christmas poems. I also
once again wrote 22 more haiku for all
of the haiku lovers out there. I hope you
can find 1 or 2 of either or both that you
like. Now, it’s time for me to try and find
that silly off switch, but not before I wish
you a most wonderful weekend or whatever’s
left of it and a truly blessings filled week.
Remember, Jesus loves you and we do too.
OK, where are ya hiding this week you
goofy off switch? So far your hiding spots
have really sucked hehehe. OH, I see
that you’re trying a new spot this week 🙂
If you could ever learn to not be peeking
out every so often to see if I can see you,
I might not see you hehehe. Guess what?
I didn’t see you at first behind my camera,
but as soon as you peeked you moved the
camera and got my attention hehehehehe.
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill, Judy, Benny, Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

The Dreaming Tree

A long time ago
when I was a child
I would just dream of
moments compiled.
Under the dreaming tree
sat all alone
I would see starry skies
clouds moving on.
The darkness would come
with moonlight to see
and Venus and Mars
under the dreaming tree..
I’d fall fast asleep
as the night turned to day
while the dreaming tree
swished and would sway.
The winds of each moment
gave this for free
a lifetime found under
the dreaming tree.

Dreamcatcher

With minutes recorded
as phantoms displayed
a dreamcatcher catches
what life does persuade.
Things maybe hidden
inside of our mind
a dreamcatcher catches
to surely unwind.
Dreams of existence
where life is a glitter
not filled with sadness
found oh so bitter.
The dreamcatcher catches
what can become real
and not just a moment
that hands cannot feel.
The essence of life can
be better viewed
that of a dreamcatcher
which you pursued.

A Christmas Night

It’s a time when in slumber
you dream of the sight
snowflakes found falling
deep in the night.
The essence of Christmas
is there as a glow
the nights of the season
with fresh fallen snow.
The signs of the times
that you so delight
are found in December as
a Christmas night.
Some lights found twinkling
in the distance you see
within a Christmas night
snow falling free.
The joyful music playing
on the radio
of a Christmas night scene
that you used to know.
Those special moments
that time holds so true
are of a moment
that was not so blue.
So now remember each
wonderful sight
found in December of
a Christmas night.

Once Upon A Time

Some stories from childhood
days we remind
often are started with
once upon a time.
Those stories were sometimes
scary, but sweet
and other times with some
children to eat.
Yet those stories brought
minds to some places
found as a journey filled
with smiling faces.
Many of the stories were
written to fill
children’s minds with
things not so real.
But so many story books
would come alive
and teach many children
how to survive.
Finding the meanings through
words and a rhyme
what can become of
once upon a time.

Christ In Christmas

Looking back years ago
I can clearly see
that Christ in Christmas
was given for free.
Now while I’m looking
today I still find
Christ in Christmas
and oh so divine.
Yet many others still
the same as the past
view it much different
in shadows they cast.
Saying Merry Christmas
or Happy Holidays
doesn’t change Christmas
and how it displays.
Yes many view it,
but not how we do
because they’re religion
is not me and you.
So keep Christ in Christmas
the way that you’re taught
and let others live on
the way you do not.
For Christmas to them
might still be the same,
but found in a different
way that they name.
For God is still God
and His Son is love
as Christ in Christmas
from Heaven above.
I’ll still continue to
say what I will
Merry Christmas to all
with love to fulfill.
I’ll keep Christ in Christmas
as daddy taught me
and you keep it your way
and just be happy.

Mornings Of Snow

Sweet winters mornings
are seasons delight,
snowflakes found falling
making a sight.
Scenes they’ve created
as morning is found
white snowflakes landing
there on the ground.
Creating their magic
so wondrous to see
found in December
so Christmassy.
Those mornings of snow
are greatest to find,
glittering brilliantly
in the sunshine.
Each flakes uniqueness
creates its own show,
Christmastimes seasons
mornings of snow.

Looking Up

Skies above me,
ground below
often give me
things to grow.
Looking up
and looking down
I see Jesus
all around.
Seasons changing
in the sights
looking up
at days and nights.
Some with sunshine,
some with snow,
Some with cold winds
that will blow.
Hands of Jesus
I can feel
as I’m on
my knees to kneel.
Looking up
then looking down
I find smiles then
all around.

A Christmas Tree

Years in the making
ones hiked through the snow
searching for that special
Christmastime glow.
That very special tree
that stood out so fine
maybe a douglas fir
or spruce or a pine.
Then with a chop ax
they would cut down
that very special tree
that they surely found.
A Christmas tree
to decorate with lights
and hang some ornaments
glittering bright.
Then as Christmas
comes closer each day
the Christmas tree
provides its display.
A Christmas tree
of magical dressings
glittering Christmastimes
wonderful blessings.
There might even be
a train going around
the Christmas tree
with a starry crown.
Smoke from the smokestack
billowing true
as it goes around
creating its view.
Now as the decades
have made history,
we still enjoy the sights
of a Christmas tree.

Dreaming Of Santa

Children see differently
than what we see,
for they see the magic
that escapes you and me.
They find the joy in
snowflakes that fall
and then get excited
to hear Santa’s call.
Dreaming of Santa
each Christmastime night
and sugarplum fairies
dancing delight.
Children find greater
in the things we have lost
for with our old age
the times paid the cost.
So try a little now
to look inside
and find that child that
you have denied.
Allow your heart to
find that child view
dreaming of Santa
how you used to do.

Placing A Heartbeat

Scenes we remember
when we were so young
times in December
with Christmas lights hung.
Placing a heartbeat
on times that we know
helps ones create
a season of snow.
Even with a can
of spray snow delight
you could draw a snowman
there in plain sight.
Then if some snowflakes
of white begins to fall
a child’s mind awakes
to take on it all.
Rolling up some snow
to build a snowman
to sort of imitate
the one from the can.
Placing a heartbeat
with snow angels wings,
a child then competes
with what Heaven brings.
Each flake that lands
on the ground then that day,
becomes with his hands
the greatest display.
A heartbeat from God
that children perceive
creates an applaud
with how they believe.
Christmastimes scenes
of children’s delight,
heartbeats of dreams
right there in plain sight.
Placing a heartbeat
right there in the snow
helps ones to greet
with Christmastimes glow.

Haiku
for Nov 12, 2015

Begging for moments
could find you missing right now,
as it passes by.

Beyond a forest
a tree might fall prey to age
and never be heard.

The grasp of nightfall
is that of darkness that comes
sometimes silently.

Worlds of the unknown
are beyond the perception
we can imagine.

A wagon of truth
might find a bumpy journey
through doubters pathway.

Mindless emotions
can become endless thresholds
leading to nowhere.

The path of flowers
begins with just but a seed
and then some loving.

Tombs of ignorance
allows stupidities growth
and becomes empty.

Hands of a lifetime
can become one long strong grasp,
if the hold is true.

Meaningless chatter
only fills the room with holes
of which blows on through.

Desires of the heart
often get confused with wants
and end up saddened.

The dust in the wind
often looks like the living
as it goes its way.

A snowflake that falls
has no clue of its journey
or where it will land.

Living for moments
might find a few not worth it
so make sure they are.

Disturbing others
could become your own downfall,
as it comes to haunt.

Lessons of a fool
are often found with much pain,
due to bad judgment.

The leaves on the trees
will rustle on windy days
and often blow off.

New choices chosen
will help the old ways to fade,
but there is a risk.

The game of slumber
finds a path through sleeping dreams
that might turn sour.

Your own awareness
might display your perception
and how you view life.

God connects us all,
but we cause separation
due to prejudice.

The flowers of life
bloom as a fragrant machine
that many let die.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

I’m back with more incessant rambling or at
least seeming as so 🙂 The weather has been
fairly nice aside from a few rains and what
not. It hasn’t been all that cold at least not
the way I see it. Right now at 3:30 PM it’s
39 F degrees and the high is supposed to be
40 F. My weather program shows snow in
the later part of the week around Thursday
along with some rain showers. We shall see.
We had 200 gallons of heating oil delivered
and now we’re waiting for our landlord to
get our furnace going again. It hasn’t been
used since last March when it quit working.
Calvin (our landlord) came by last night and
worked on it, but he didn’t have any new jets
for it, so he said he’ll go to the store Monday
and buy a bunch of them because he knows
he’ll need them for all of the other people
that are renting from him due to them also
having kerosene burning furnaces hehehe.
We’re OK. Our radiator heaters keep us
quite warm, but then that is due to the
fact that we stay in here (the PC room)
and our bed room most of the time. We
actually only need the furnace to heat the
bathroom and the rest of the house to
prevent the water from freezing up. So
we’re Ok for now, but hopefully Calvin
will get the furnace going Monday or
before the temperature begins to drop
to the single digits LOL. I’m sure he
will, because he don’t want the water
to freeze up either. It would mean more
work for him hehehe. For now we are
doing quite well with our PC monitors
and radiator heater in our computer
room where we hang out most of the
time, because the monitors put out
a lot of heat and often we don’t even
turn on the radiator heater in here
when it’s only around 50 F degrees
outside. We stay quite toasty. Often
we have to open up the door because
it gets a bit too warm. But when it’s
days like today we turn the radiator
heaters on low and that evens it out.
Those radiator heaters and portable
air conditioner were some of the best
things I ever bought LOL aside from
maybe our brand new snow blower
which I have yet to of had the chance
to try it out, but I saw many videos
of other people using it and it seems
to work great. No complaints from
them. A few people uploaded their
own videos to Youtube using the snow
blower and they were amazed at how
well it worked. Only a couple had a
few disgruntles such as it only does
a maximum of 6 inches. But that just
means you will have to try and not let
it get that deep before using it, other
wise, break out the snow shovel. I’ve
been using a snow shovel since 2007
when we moved up here and I will be
glad to not have to use it as much. My
back, shoulders and legs are telling
me to knock it off LOL. I did see one
dude that on cases of deeper snow
where he skimmed off the top layer
with the Snow Joe and then he was
able to finish it up with a second pass.
No matter, if it helps me out a little
bit, that’s what matters. OK so next
topic. Judy and I went shopping the
other day and we ran into all of her
sisters and their husbands hehehehe.
We did a little selfy of us. Of course
the other husbands ran off when they
saw Trudy get out her cell phone to
take pictures. So it ended up, I was
the only male to hang around and so it
was them and me. I’m going to put
the picture in the stationery so ya can
see all of our smiling faces. So, what
else is there to tell ya? Oh yea, Judy’s
birthday was Friday Nov 6. We had a
great day. I got up early that morning
and wrote her a couple of birthday
poems and put them into pictures that
are framable. She liked the first one
I did the best 🙂 I did too sort of. It
was sort of a reminder of when we met
and then got married. Anyways, I may
put the poems in with the rest of the
poems that I wrote Thursday. Ya never
know what I’m gonna do Mwahahaha.
Boy, the days are getting short. It’s
only 4:13 PM and it’s already getting
dark hehehe. The low for tonight is
supposed to be 31 F degrees. It looks
like the radiator heaters will be on
high tonight LOL. I took the boys out
for a field trip before Judy got up on
her birthday. Then I fixed us some
breakfast (waffles, sausage and eggs).
We then later in the day ordered us
some take out from Tang’s Chinese
Restaurant. We did a little emergency
shopping at Walmart before going to
pick up our order from Tang’s. We
forgot a few things Tuesday when we
ran into her sisters LOL. I bought
Judy and I couple of slices of carrot
cake for her birthday, but I had no
idea that they put raisins in it, so we
both had trouble eating it. Me only
for reasons that raisins don’t do me
well being without a colon. They
actually make matters worse. Judy
just doesn’t like raisins. Oh well I
tried 🙂 It didn’t matter, we had a
great dinner while we watched TV.
We couldn’t afford to do much else,
but it was good enough. All in all it
was a great day. We bought Judy a
Fry Daddy elite Tuesday for an early
birthday present. She’s always been
wanting one, so she got it. Saturday,
we took the boys out for another little
field trip. Of course they’ve gotten
to where they take a few on their own,
but that’s OK. They love to run in
the field in front of our house. They
better enjoy it, because soon it will
be filled full of snow that will be too
deep for them to run in. I will though
make use of the snow blower and try
to plow them some places to run, play
and poop hehehe. I’ve been doing that
every year for the boys. I did it for
Benny and Milo and I’ll do it for Benny
and Rocky. Benny loves the snow. It
will be interesting to see how much
Rocky likes it. He seemed to love it
back in October when it snowed an
inch or so, but how well will he like
it when it’s feet and not inches hehehe?
We shall see. Though I have a feeling
that he will love it just as much if not
more than Benny. He loves to play.
We’ll give him a treat and he’ll lie
it down in the floor in front of him
wanting one of us to try and get it.
Then when we reach down to get it
the game is on LOL. He pounces 🙂
Then if you get it and give it back
to him, it will be a repeat until he is
ready to just eat the treat or gnaw
on it LOL. I was doing that with him
the other day and Judy said “hmm, I
wonder if he’ll do that with me” and
she reached down and the game was
on hehehe. He does that with Benny
also which I find rather cute 🙂 They
do love one another without a doubt.
Most people think I’m crazy to want
snow, but hey, I don’t care. I think
it’s pretty and yes I still love to play in
it. Being I am from Texas, I never
saw this much snow aside from when
I was 16 and went on a singing trip
with my youth choir and we went up
in the Colorado mountains and did
some concerts at churches. Yep, that
was a lot of snow, but it was a long
time ago and only once in my life 🙂
I never had a truly white Christmas.
One year, Judy and I were driving
around in Greenville Texas and other
towns nearby looking at Christmas
lights on Christmas eve and it began
to snow a bit, but nothing near what
it does up here LOL. The snow didn’t
hang around for long and was but only
about an inch. It was what we call
up here a dusting hehehe. So, now
I get to see snow every year and so
far we’ve had a white Christmas every
year since we moved up Dec of 2007.
I hope it keeps up and we have a white
Christmas this year being my daughter
and granddaughter Sami are coming up
with Jamye’s boyfriend and his son 🙂
Though I’m pretty sure there will be
snow. I’m just a worrywart hehehehe.
According to the Farmers Almanac
for 2015-2016 we’re expecting well
above normal snow, so I believe we’ll
get our fair share of snow. Actually the
only thing I really don’t like about the
snow is when it melts and turns to slush.
Then when it re-freezes turning into ice
which has caused more of my aches
and pains by causing me to slip and
fall. I’m gonna have to by me some
new cleats to attach to my shoes. My
old ones are about stretched out and
tend to fall off at the most inappropriate
times leaving me walking minus one
and often me not aware of it hehehehe
until, well ya know, Kersplat. Yep,
that part of the snow I don’t care much
for LOL. That’s one reason that I’m
happy that it’s not snowing a lot like
it did last year at this time, because
it tended to melt on the days that it
got above freezing and then re-freeze
only to make a horrendous ice skating
driveway and steps. Up here most of
us always have ice melt pellets to toss
on the frozen ice to melt it to where
you can walk without busting your
hindquarters hehehehe. We’ll have to
buy some more this winter, but we’ve
still got some from last winter. So it
looks like we’re pretty much ready for
winter of course aside from our furnace
not working, but I’m sure that will be
fixed soon enough. It’s pitch black now
as I look outside and it’s only 5:50 PM.
It’s 36 F degrees now. Judy is working
on her book still. She’s doing as I do
when I’m writing. I will often read over
it 4 or 5 times and change a word here
and there or maybe even a whole line.
I’m sure after she is done with it, she
will have a masterpiece. Thank You
God for all of the blessings that You
have bestowed upon us. We praise
Your Name if not by words, but by
thought. You are always there for us
guiding us with Your True Spirit along
with all those that You allow to help
us make each day as a pathway of
smiles. Judy and I are thankful for
these little boys Benny and Rocky and
not to forget Milo which also brought
us joy with the time that he was with
us. Lord, thank You for everything,
even that for which we know not of
that You do AMEN. Now I believe
it’s time for me to be taking my little
journey back through all that I have
written here to see if I can find me a
good word or phrase that I can use
for the title for today’s brand new
poem. So, it’s away I go to that lil
place of my recollection that I always
like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.
I think I may have stumbled across
a decent title just a little ways back.
Now to try and put together a few
words that actually make any sense
using it LOL. Here goes…..

If Not By Words

When actions are displayed
what words do not say,
so many will wonder
if you’re true that day.
For if not for words
in our daily walk of life
people might think
that you’re filled with strife.
So often what we say
is not what we do
which often only shows
that we’re not so true.
So try to be honest
with what you display
and concur with the wording
of everything you say.
Don’t let yourself seem
what is not what you are,
for if not for words
you might seem bizarre.

Okey-dokey, there ya go 🙂 I hope that
makes sense to ya. I hope you like it, but
if not, sorry Charley hehehe. I reckon I
may have put a few of you to sleep with all
of my rambling huh. Oh well, if so, you
may have needed a nap LOL. Yep, just
call me your pillow of words hehehehehe.
So OK, what have I forgotten to tell you?
Hmm, there isn’t much to add. I think I’ve
said it all and maybe even a bit more that
I’m sure that you could of done without 🙂
So I reckon it’s time for me to be telling
you what I tell you almost every week and
that is, I wrote some more poems and
haiku. Yeppers, 10 more poems with
5 of them this week being Christmassy
and I might even add the 2 poems that I
wrote for Judy on her birthday 🙂 I once
again also wrote 22 more haiku for all of
the haiku lovers out there. I hope you
can find 1 or 2 of either or both that
you like. Now, it’s time for me to be
searching for that not so elusive off
switch, but not before I wish you a
most wonderful week or whatever is
left of it and a most precious blessings
filled week. Remember, Jesus loves
you and we do too. Now, where’s that
off switch hiding this week? LOL OK
so I do have my Cheeto bag sitting in
front of me. That doesn’t mean to try
and hide in it and cover yourself with
Cheeto dust LOL. You can be so silly.
Gotcha, see a CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill, Judy, Benny, Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂
Plus Judy’s birthday poems at end <3

Winter Instilled

Drop by drop
the snowflakes fall,
one by one
the seasons call.
Winter instilled
upon the ground,
drop by drop
seen all around.
The Christmas days
come into view,
flakes that fly
a snowy hue.
Days and nights
show center stage,
winter instilled
page after page.
That of a book
seasons fulfilled,
found as a journey
winter instilled.

Deep Down

A heart of gold
that shines so bright
might be found
with little light.
For found deep down
what many see
is overlooked
by you and me.
We often search
the outer shell
and do not see
the inner Hell.
The sights unseen
might be pure gold
beautiful hearts
with hands to hold.
So when you are
just looking around
look underneath
for love deep down.

Confused Winds

Winds of time
come and go
here and there
each way they blow.
Found confusion
winds of time
seem to have
no path in mind.
Confused winds
will seem to be
blowing leaves
that we can see.
Left and right
then up and down,
winds of time
blow all around.
It sometimes shows
some double ends
with different paths of
confused wind

Many Disguises

Disguised as someone
that they’re not
so many people
do that a lot.
Many disguises
in their daily game
often with words
of a different name.
Often it’s due to
them being scared
of them being always
seen as impaired.
Don’t let yourself
to just hide away.
Lose the disguises
not true each day.
The truth is best
as the sun rises
so don’t just use
so many disguises.

In The Snow

A Christmas scene
found in the snow
might display
some lights aglow.
Sparkling essence
on display
in the snow
for Christmas Day.
Flakes that fall
so snowy white
glisten and sparkle
day and night.
In the snow
might also be
a big snowman
for all to see.
Christmas angels
might then too
be so great
for ones to view.
A scene so precious
high and low
displays Christmas
in the snow.

Cosmic Fractions

In space beyond
what we can see
we can find
new life to be.
Cosmic fractions
intertwined
for our future
then to find.
God’s creations
beating hearts
cosmic fractions
life imparts.
Yet some doubting
thinking true,
that there’s none,
but me and you.
I’ve surmised that
we can’t be
all God did
through history.
Cosmic fractions
near to ours
God’s creations
in the stars.

Whispers In The Night

Within the night
we might just hear
a sound so faint
we barely hear.
A windy whisper
in the night
might just be
an inner sight.
A simple thing
that you recall
a moments whisper
bouncing ball.
Whispers faintly
just as words,
might just be
some distant birds.
Yet sometimes
those words are clear
faintly saying
that they’re near.
Whispers in the night
might just say
that they’re waiting
for break of day.
But those whispers
might just be
wanting you to
hear and see.
So in the night
when you hear words,
don’t assume
it’s a flock of birds,
for it might be
a lonely soul
with its whispers
times unfold.

A Christmas Glance

The songs we remember
as seasonal smiles
become reflections
that Christmas compiles.
A Christmas glance
can open a door
to a smiling face
and so much more.
Those special moments
of a happy face
warming themselves
by a fireplace,
A Christmas glance
through history
is what that instills
a Christmas tree.
A little toy train
with a working smokestack
a Christmas glance
goes around the track.
Songs sung joyously
as many would dance
this I recall
as a Christmas glance.

A Gaze Of White

A dream of Christmas
comes into frame
often at night
when sleep I attain.
A gaze of white
as snowflakes fall
is that of Christmas
large and small.
The sights I see
within my dreams
are that of magical
glistening streams
Frozen with ice
and snow thereupon
a gaze of white
continues on.
A dream of Christmas
comes in sight
within the season
a gaze of white.

A Puff Of Snow

Winter’s beginnings
are found in the air
with many snowflakes
found everywhere.
A puff of snow
that lands in place
upon the ground,
with a smiling face.
Those little flakes
a puff of snow
billow with blessings
with more to grow.
Christmastimes essence
found pure and white
a puff of snow
that comes in sight.
Then some children
roll snow around
to make a snowman
stand on the ground.
A puff of snow
becomes a man
so large and white
and oh so grand.
A carrot nose
and charcoal eyes
with hat on top
so large in size.
A button down belly
with charcoal too
that stands so tall
for us to view.
A puff of snow
becomes much more
the moment kids
go out the door.
Christmas comes
with joy and praise
and a puff of snow
for winter days.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

She Is My Blessing

My heart has found passion
inside of this one
sent down from Heaven
through Jesus God’s Son.
Today is her birthday
that adds to the years
of us together
with love that endears.
The days are surmounted
that we have been found
together with heartbeats
from God’s Higher ground.
She is my blessing
that my eyes behold
and truly I love her
as we each grow old.
Our paths were connected
with words we could see
rhymes of the times
connected history.
We found much more then
as time moved along,
for she is the one that
now does belong.
Her and I together
in a magical way
hold hands and walk on
with day after day.
So now is her birthday
to display on stage
showing her beauty
and not just her age.
Life is a journey
that often we’re guessing,
but I know we’ll make it
for she is my blessing.
I love you Judy
my wife and my friend.
My love for you shall not
ever find end.
Happy birthday darling,
my sweet honey pie.
I’ll love you always
even after I die.

Haiku
for Nov 5, 2015

The tides of oceans
show the minutes of the day
as time washes on.

Today’s circumstance
will show the key to your life
seen through tomorrow.

Various turnstiles
leave many flowers blooming
while others do not.

Amidst illusions
might be many hopes and dreams
as an oasis.

Partial seclusion
can become full seclusion
if you’re not careful.

One garden growing
can fill up many stomachs
if it’s fertilized.

Flavors of a life
come as many styles of grain
to help them to grow.

Beyond our limits
holds the key to greater life
found as we will grow.

A steady footing
will keep you on the mountain,
but one slip will fall.

Learning from troubles
makes the troubles as lessons
to help you to grow.

Mountains of viewpoints
might turn into molehills
as time goes its way.

Mornings of dewdrops
bring to life many flowers
as the sun rises.

Cohesive people
often cause many problems
if they are stupid.

Standing atop time
looking down on the moments
you might see yourself.

Deciding today
brings decisions tomorrow
made from the journey.

Plotting your course
needs a map of your choices
with best way to go.

Never ending moments
are as many photographs
of which you’ve taken.

Living for others
can cause you many troubles
when they are not there.

A new horizon
shows a glimmer of hopeful
if you look closely.

Allowing sadness
to become all that you view
can cause suicide.

Flavors of the waves
that the ocean shares each day
are with emotions.

Springtime will blossom
bringing flowers into sight
as wintertime fades.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s was mildly cold last week and for that
matter it’s continuing on into today and seems
to be the same for the forecast for the week.
Of course many in the more southern states
might call our weather freaken cold hehehe.
Right now at 4:30 PM it’s 48 F degrees LOL,
which in my book is not all that cold. It’s not
supposed to get much colder tonight. Maybe
44 F or so. Anyways, we’re doing fairly well
as the winter days approach with much lower
temperatures. I visited my new doctor/CNP
which is really only a glorified RN hehehe. Yep,
doctors are scarce up here or at least it seems
that way. My other so called doctor was also
a CNP. That seems to be all I can get to take
me on as a patient. OH well, there is nothing
that can be done for most of my health issues.
I actually just need one to prescribe me my
inhaler and Advair LOL. I’ve already seen
all of the specialist that I could afford and
all they could say was, “it’s a mystery why
I’m still alive”. That’s me the mystery man 🙂
I’m alive and that’s what matters. I thank
God for giving me the gift that He has given
me of writing, music and photography, but
I wish He could of put a limit on my health
issues a tad hehehe. The old saying goes
what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.
So, I guess all of this is my calisthenics for
life LOL. God, would ya please give me
a break :)? So, what else is there to tell
ya? Well, Judy and I took the boys on a
couple of field trips last week. They had
a blast as always. Running and playing
chase seems to be one of the many things
that are their favorite things to do LOL.
Saturday/Halloween was Milo’s birthday.
We miss our old boy, but we’re sure that
his spirit comes to visit from time to time.
Judy and her sister Barbara went up to
visit their brother Ricky that is in nursing
home up in the more northern section of
Maine from us. Ricky seems to be doing
fairly well after losing his leg below his
knee due to gangrene. He’s learning how
to walk using a temporary prosthetic leg.
In a few months he will get the one that
will be with him always. Judy made up
a collage of pictures from the past for
him and he loved it 🙂 Judy took a few
pictures of him looking through it with
Barbara sitting beside him. I also have
a picture of Ricky learning to walk on
the temporary prosthetic leg and he was
happy. The nurses sent Judy the picture.
I’ll put that picture and maybe a couple
of pictures of him looking through the
collage of pictures in the stationery so
that those of you that are receiving this
in stationery format can see 🙂 Sorry,
but for those of you receiving this in
the plain text version will just have to
imagine it hehehe. We took a lot of
pictures of the boys this week. There
are a couple that are just too cute of
them lying in the floor right behind me
with them holding paws face to face
and playing. Yep, we love those boys.
Yesterday/Saturday, while Judy was
up at Eagle Lake, me and the boys just
hung out together and I wrote all of
my poems and haiku which in essence
is also poetry, but just a different style
Haiku is really just a Japanese form
of poetry, I like writing it, because it
allows me to use my inner thoughts
without allowing rhymes to clutter it.
Actually a lot of my haiku is not true
haiku, but a style of senryu which is
also a form of Japanese poetry, but it
is about the ironies of life, where haiku
is mostly about the seasons and nature.
I’m not perfect in my writings, but I
do my best, yet most times I just write
what comes to mind at that moment.
I do tend to think more than many ever
thought I did. For years I kept all of
my thoughts locked inside except to
write a poem ever so often that which
was never seen by anybody. Now days
I have decided to allow others to see
what is going on inside my mind as I
write my thoughts and share them 🙂
So, OK, next topic hehehe. It rained
most of the day today. Not heavy, but
none the less rain. Judy has still been
busy editing her sci-fi novel. She has
done a little bit of rewriting ever so
often. That’s what I usually do after
I’ve written my poems, because I’m
usually typing quickly my thoughts of
a moment and later when reviewed I can
find places I left out words or I found I
could of used a different word or phrase
in place of what’s there. I’ll often still
miss a few typo’s, but that’s life hehehe.
I am human or at least that’s what I’m
told by my mom LOL. Yet there are
a few times that I could swear that I
am an alien from another world LOL.
I do have a habit of thinking too much
and it does give me a headache. My dad
always called me a thinker, because it
seems that my brain never actually gives
me a break. I will often find myself
composing and reciting poetry in the
weirdest places such as the bathroom
and in bed while trying to sleep. That’s
my life. I do though whisper it while
Judy is trying to sleep or in my case I
assume I am whispering, but the fact
is I’m deaf and often when I think I’m
whispering I am talking out loud and
she can hear me. But here lately I’ve
done my best to keep my reciting in
the bathroom behind closed doors 🙂
Now, whenever I do happen to fall
asleep for a few minutes, I tend to
have nightmares of my past and begin
talking about it which has woken Judy
up from time to time LOL. It’s a good
thing I don’t sleep much huh hehehe.
I’m guessing that the reason I do have
those nightmares is due to the lack of
sleep that I get because of my health
issues which cannot be resolved by
any form. I can’t take sleeping pills
because they act like Exlax to me as
they relax my bowels and I end up
spending the night running back and
forth to the bathroom of which I’ve
begun calling my thinking room LOL.
So OK, next topic, if I can think of
one hehehe. Well the time change is
something that I could do without.
It serves no purpose. The reason it
began was due to World War 1 with
President Woodrow Wilson, but then
abolished by congress. Then it was
brought back agin during World War
2 by President Franklin Roosevelt
and here it is today still being a pain
in the behind LOL. To my knowledge
Arizona is the only state that does not
observe Daylight Savings Time and
I think the rest of the states should
follow suit. So, you can see how I
feel about Daylight Savings Time 🙂
It makes it real confusing to my inner
clock. The clocks in the house are
easy to change, but our bodies tend
to still function on the old time for
a month or so of which causes havoc
within our systems or at least it does
mine. No matter, it will continue
until somebody finally says enough
already and stops it hehehe. Until
then, I guess Judy and I will keep on
keeping on with our lives with God
watching over us. He has been good
to us and kept us protected from the
many evils of life. Yes we still have
our share of problems, but nothing
that we can’t handle as God gives
us strength. Thank You God for all
that You have done for us and all that
You will do. We praise Your Name
always. Now I believe it’s time for
me to cease my longwinded rambling
and begin my search back through
all that I’ve written here to see if I
can find a good word or phrase that I
can use for the title for today’s brand
new poem. So, it’s away I go to that
place of my recollection that I always
like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.
I think I may have found a decent
title, so now I need to try and write
a poem using it hehehe. Here goes.

Easy To Change

Yesterdays patterns
might seem to exclaim
that they’re too tough
not easy to change,
but the fact of the thing
is sometimes its you
that refuses to change
what you always do,
We each have our troubles
that haunt us so well,
but God can take all those
and change the detail.
Sometimes its money
and sometimes its face
fearing our appearance
within human race.
It’s easy to change
as you choose better ways
to begin then by morning
changing your days.
Yet many problems
that you daily grieve
might just need the changing
of how you perceive.
Look for the blessings
in smallest amount
and then ease up judging
your daily recount.
Those times in the past
that now does pertain
can be all the lessons
with easy to change.
Maybe not the moment,
but futures to see.
It’s easy to change
using our history.

So, OK there ya go. I hope that poem
made some sense to ya. Change doesn’t
have to be a big thing. Even the smallest
thing can be a change that can grow into
a large one. It often takes time. Change
how you view things. Don’t always look
for the negative. Look for the positive
in life and work on it, but also as best
you can work on the negative to make
it positive in a good way. LOL both of
the boys are lying in the floor sleeping
right behind me and beside me. Benny
is beside me and Rocky is behind me 🙂
Gotta love them boys <3 So, what else
is there to say that I may have forgotten?
Well, it’s dark as dark can be outside.
I wish we had a light pole somewhere
near our home LOL. All we have is a
front porch light and my cat like eyes.
Yep, I can see in the dark pretty good.
My dad used to call me a night creature,
because I would always go wandering
through the dark of night where many
could not see, but I could see clearly.
LOL I have walked out to the mailbox
in the dark a number of times and our
little boys would panic because they
couldn’t see me. Benny would stand
there just searching the darkness until
I finally came nearing our house lights.
The only reason I would ever need a
flashlight was to look in the mailbox,
because my eyes couldn’t see in that
much darkness. Even on cloudy nights
I can see with maybe a little starlight,
but it doesn’t take much It just takes
a little time for my eyes to adjust and
then I’m off hehehemwahaha, So, I
reckon it’s time for me to be telling you
what I tell you almost every week and
that is, I wrote some more poems
and haiku. Yeppers, 10 more poems
with 2 of them being Christmas poems.
Also I wrote 22 more haiku for all of
the haiku lovers out there. I hope
you can find 1 or 2 of either or both
that you like. Now I believe it’s time
for me to begin my search for that
not so freaken elusive off switch,
but not before I wish you a most
wonderful weekend or whatever’s
left of it and a blessings filled week.
Remember, Jesus loves you and
we do too. Now, where’s that off
switch hiding this time or should I
say attempting to hide? Hmm, It
looks as though some of my papers
are rustling for no reason at all LOL.
There ya are ya little varmint. That
might have worked well for you as
a hiding spot, but each time you
moved the papers would make a bit
of a sound that caught my attention
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill, Judy, Benny, Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Joy Of The Journey

Notions of motions
continued so true
the joy of the journey
says how do you do.
Scenes from the journey
can truly live and breathe
if for the moment
you do so believe.
The joy of the journey
is inside our mind
found as the minutes
that dreams will unwind.
Sometimes the journey
will become so real
that you can then see it
with heartbeats you feel.
Often in a moment
our lives might be seen
as joy of the journey
that ones call a dream.
Yet many journeys
are there to behold
given from Lord God
as journeys of old.
Then as the days pass
new pathways are found
the joy of the journey
when you look around.

Words In The Wind

A dark night so windy
found words lullaby
sounding like questions
as who, where and why.
Seasons remarking
their words in the dark
in sentences displayed
that make our dogs bark.
Making things rattle
with words on display,
the wind comes alive
with things it will say.
Words in the wind
that are often well heard
sometimes as a moment
a little obscured.
Yet many times
it seems as a friend
serenading love songs
words in the wind.

Free To Fly

Feathers of a heart
can find ways to fly
and soar up above
so high in the sky.
The feel of the wind
that blows underneath
showers the freedom
truly to breathe.
No matter your troubles,
no matter your pain
you are free to fly
in dreams time again.
Let your wings soar
and carry you far
to a place not so sad
from a moment you are.
But yet don’t get stuck
in a fantasy world,
for sometimes that causes
some bad to unfurl.
Deal with reality
as best that you can,
for you’re free to fly
when you can’t withstand.

Afterglow

When daytime meets nighttime
with its afterglow
the stars start to twinkle
creating a show.
The night sky starts showing
its own famous way
then the moons afterglow
starts up the day.
The sun rises higher
as minutes will pass
with a reverse afterglow
to be shadows cast.
With ones gazing truly
at its own design,
the day moves long
with time after time.
Then as the sunshine
westward does go
it leaves us the sight
of its afterglow.

His Spirit Moves

Moments of worry
might just come to be
what only your eyesight
can surely see,
for sometimes our worry
is over what’s small
making a molehill
seem oh so tall.
God is there with you
just waiting each day
for you to lead worry
into what you pray.
Let Him to handle
your win and your lose,
for prayers are then answered
as His Spirit moves.
Lessons from worrying
come as insane,
but His Spirit moves with
good to attain.

Hope And Joy

Signs of times
as minutes pass
shows the seasons
shadows cast.
Hope and joy
of wondrous ways
come in form
of Christmas days.
With the essence
Christmas finds
some see snow filled
great designs.
Snowflakes falling
one by one
with hope and joy
on seasons sun.
Time is counted
to deploy
Christmastime
with hope and joy.

We Meet Again

That time of year
when snowflakes fall
on places found
with trees so tall.
We meet again
you wondrous day
with your magical
Christmas way.
It’s now but a dream
of what’s to come
that’s from Jesus
God’s Only Son.
That special time
that comes in view
creating joy
for me and for you.
We meet again
you day of love
that was given
from God above.
I’m so thankful
for what I see
when a mere snowflake
lands on me.
I look to the starlight
high in the sky
at night in the season
with Jesus and I.
I’m so thankful
for Christmas times
even in summer
and all that entwines.
Those special moments
I’ll surely exclaim
I love you dearly
as we meet again.

Time Smoothes The Stones

As rough roads are covered
with footsteps in time
we’re each on a journey
for pathways to find.
Many roads traveled
will become rougher still,
but time smoothes the stones
with lessons to fulfill.
We’ll find some rocky roads
with stones in our way,
but with God by our side
we’ll make it each day.
Time smoothes the stones
as a river does true
with water flowing over
changing the view.
Yes, each day’s a lesson
that often grunts and groans,
but God gives the answers
as time smoothes the stones.

Rainbow Maker

A sky with clouds
and falling rain
soon has rainbows
in the frame.
The rainbow maker
gives a view
to see those days
when sky’s not blue.
Clouds of white
might turn so dark
and pour some rain
with lightning’s spark.
Thunder roaring
in reply
of the lightning
in the sky.
Then at end
we might just find
rainbow maker’s
great design.
It might be double
or by three,
but it’s there
to see for free.
The rainbow maker
brings to view
so many colors
in a sky of blue.
The clouds of white
or dark that were
leave to later
reoccur.
But then when they
do come back
the rainbow maker
will attack.

The Song Of Stars

A night so dark
has stars that shine
with their gift from
God Divine.
The song of stars
is great to see.
It’s a gift
through history.
They’ve sung their song
through time and space
often landing
on our face.
A simple smile
from starry nights
lit our hearts
with Heaven’s lights.
Those great nights
with Venus and Mars
there are the sights,
the song of stars.

Haiku
for Oct 31, 2015

The things that we see
might not be what we can hold,
for some things aren’t true.

Deciphering dreams
could leave you still wondering
if you are correct.

One step at a time
gets us away from the past,
but some comes with us.

Leftover anger
can become a hand grenade
waiting to explode.

Walking through darkness
you might not see all that’s there,
but you may sense it.

Links to tomorrow
often look just like today,
but different time.

Burdens of sorrow
often come with loss of love
and regretfulness.

Hidden desires
will maybe become problems
if they are wrongful.

Looking at the sun
will most surely blind your eyes,
just like wanting sin.

Beyond our doorway
holds a place filled with choices,
that needs decisions.

Colors of people
don’t determine who they are
or how that they think.

Different beliefs
is what our country’s made up of,
for we’re united.

Proof of deception
opens up many questions,
such as reasons why.

Some only seek strength
and not what ones are needing,
like true compassion.

Scenes within autumn
came to life with many colors
then faded away.

A bluish gray sky
holds a glimmer of hopeful
as the day finds end.

A winter flower
will still attempt to blossom
even with the snow.

Shadows of ourselves
are as memories ones see
as we go our way.

Stitching a lifestyle
and making it as one thread
might have a few flaws.

Describing others
might cause you to realize
that you’re prejudice.

Beyond the starlight
holds what many imagined
and oh so much more.

Dreams can come alive,
if they’re truly meant to be
and not just a dream.
