ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It was snowing this morning and now it’s turned to sleet,  but
this evening it’s supposed to change back to snow.  Yippy LOL.
We got a little more snow Friday.  We drove up to Presque Isle
for Judy’s doctor appointment and it snowed all the way from
our house to there.   Thank God it was in the upper 30’s and
it wasn’t sticking to the roads.  I just heard the snow plow as
it went down the road LOL.  Those guys aren’t getting a break
this winter/spring hehehe.   Yep,  we’re expecting another 6 to
10 inches of that white stuff,  but God only knows.  I don’t see
myself ever quite getting used to the weather up here,  because
I was raised where spring was actually a season that flowers
would bloom hehehe.  Not up here.  The only flowers you will
see are the ones they sell at WalMart or a florist’s hehehehe.
Other than that,  you might see some ice that looks like flowers
in a peculiar way LOL.  Yep,  this is most surely a strange place
up here,  but I can’t say that I don’t enjoy the snow from time to
time.  It is a beautiful sight as it paints the hills and valleys with
brush strokes of white.  🙂 I think I just found a title for today’s
brand new poem hehehe.  We shall see if I stumble on a better
one when I look back on what I’ve written.  So onwards with my
rambling.  Hehehe,  Judy and the boys just came in so I stopped
and fixed us some breakfast.  I fixed the boys a couple of small
sausage links :).  Milo’s getting better at doing what I say LOL.
When he starts barking and begging,  I go shhhhhhhhhhh and
he quietens to a small roar hehehe.  I’ll tell him real quietly
“you don’t want me to yell do ya” and if he continues my voice
will change to where he knows he better listen LOL.  I do have
a forceful voice.  I can bark louder than any dog hehehehehe.
Benny and Milo are now lying down beside and behind me.
Benny is lying in the floor and Milo is lying in one of their beds.
Judy is browsing Facebook.  The boys started scratching at the
door wanting their dentist sticks,  so that’s how they ended
up in here :).   Benny just got up and went to lay in the other
doggie bed near Milo.  Milo just got up and parked right by
my side wanting me to hold him.  I picked him up for a while
and then said,  I’ve gotta put ya down now so I can finish my
writing.  LOL when I put him down he tried to jump back
up in my lap.  I gave Judy some small treats to give him and
Benny and now they are happy.  This is our life in a day to
day venture.  The house is always riddled with tiny footsteps
running around with little smiles.  If the sleet ever ceases
I might go outside for a bit and play with them.  Right now
it’s 30 F degrees which isn’t too awful bad for this time of the
year,  but I will be happy when it warms a bit more and the
snow melts.  Of course that will also be followed with a lot
of mud and water.  So people in low lying areas will be with
a lot of water coming their way.  Our driveway will turn to
a muddy playground for the boys LOL.  Not that bad,  but
there will be places that they will be magnetically drawn to
just like every year hehehe.  Benny loves to dig holes and
put his face in them for some dumb reason hehehe.  Its the
same with snow.  Of course Milo has taken up doing the
same in the snow.  He has yet to of wanted to dig holes and
bury his face in them and I hope it stays that way hehehehe.
I think Benny’s looking for things that he’s buried out there
in the snow,  but yet forgotten where he buried them.  LOL
he will often run out of the house with one of his toys and
not find it till the snow has melted hehehe.  He is a little
boy ya know!  They are now lying in their beds in the floor
in between  Judy and I.  Well,  it’s gone back to snowing
outside.  YEAH!  Just what we needed,  NOT.  I walked to
the front door to take a few pictures and Benny followed
me in there.  He also followed me back in here and is now
lying in his bed again.  They’re like little shadows that you
trip over hehehe.  Judy and I have been putting in some
footwork on the treadmill since we got it.  We’ve started
using the radio in the living room to help us with our walks.
We walk to the music.  It does get hard though with the
commercials LOL,  but it’s better than walking in silence.
My legs and feet are still in bad shape,  but at least it’s
better than giving in to the pain and letting myself become
bedridden or confined to a wheel chair.  Judy seems to be
getting around a little better now.  We are hoping to one
day when she gets her surgery on her legs to get us some
bicycles with doggie carriers so we can go riding,  but
that’s in the future.  I thank God for giving us the many
blessings that we have found and maybe even have yet to
of seen.  We may not have but another day to share as
time ticks on,  but I’m thankful for right now.  None of us
truly knows when the end will be.  It could be one minute
from now for all we know.  A truck could come crashing
through your wall and end your life.  The point is,  are you
ready?  I always stay ready while I stumble around with
life.  Yes I make mistakes,  but I am forgiven through The
Son of God.  I always talk to Him and ask forgiveness
as my screw ups make themselves apparent and I see that
I need to change.  We are all found with flaw whether we
want to admit it or not.  It’s with our many mistakes that
we can find growth to another level of joyful.  Let Jesus
be your guide and if you get off course,  look back and
you will see Him giving you directions through maybe a
friend or acquaintance.  Don’t let your ego to hold you
back to where you begin digging a hole filled with only
misery.  I guess it’s time for me to be searching back
through all that I’ve written here to see if I can find me
a word or phrase that I can use for the title for today’s
brand new poem.  I think I found a good title to use just
18 lines down hehehe.  Now,  to try and write a decent
poem using it hehehe.  Here goes.

Brush Strokes of White

Our nights and days
of seasonal hue
are found disguised
for what’s really true.
Brush strokes of white
are found all around
on houses each day
with road trips to town.
Paintings remembered
as brush strokes of white
are winter’s colors
within every sight.
Scenes such as flowers
are not now in view
for brush strokes of white
are hiding their hue.
Yet when it’s over
and the snow is long gone
the brush strokes of white
will seek winters dawn.

Ok so it isn’t one of my best hehehe.  What do ya expect :)?
LOL Milo was saying in his own scratching of the door way
that he needed to go out and potty,  but after Judy took him
to the door and he looked outside,  he ran down to the bottom
of the steps and went pee and then ran quickly back inside.
Benny needed to go also,  but after he looked outside and saw
it sleeting and snowing he changed his mind.  He don’t mind
the snowing part,  but sleet and rain are things he does not
like at all.  But yet,  I’m sure he will in time have to go out
and potty,  because he won’t be able to hold it forever hehe.
Maybe it will stop sleeting soon and turn to only snow.  It’s
either that or he’ll just have to tough it out LOL.  We bought
a pee pad for him when we got him,  but he would never use
it.  He always preferred going outside the same as now :).
Milo will go out and potty no matter what it’s doing outside,
but he might make it a quick one hehehe.  I’ve had the radio
playing peaceful music since I began writing.  It’s set on
Moodscapes.  Our favorite music channel for when we’re
wanting to relax or go to sleep.  It helps me with my writing.
It’s music without words.  I provide the words.  It will often
give me a title I can use though.  It displays the names of
the songs.  None the less I find titles for poems in places
such as scenes or passing thoughts from past to present.
Now,  before I get too far back in rambling mode I need
to tell you what I tell you every week and that is,  I wrote
some more poems and haiku.  Yeppers 10 more poems
with 1 of them being a sort of Christmassy poem.  I also
wrote once again 22 haiku for all of my haiku lovers out
there.  Believe it or not hehehe I wrote all of the poems
and haiku early this morning.  I wasn’t feeling too well
Friday and Saturday when I had planned on writing them.
So I started writing them all around 3 AM and finished
them (poems and haiku) at around 6 AM.  I hope you
find a few of either or both that bring you a smile or
teach you something that you can use.  Now,  it’s time
for me to begin my search for that silly off switch,  but
not before I wish you a most wonderful and God filled
week.  Remember,  Jesus loves you and we do too.
Ok,  where is that off switch hiding this week?  Hmm,
I think I see it hiding inside my Claritin-D box hehehe.
Hey dude,  my allergies are acting up,  so I think ya
might of messed up.  Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Another Day Gone By

The times that we find
as the days and weeks
are sometimes as mountains
with virtual peaks.
The minutes might shadow
your yesterdays dream
with that of some waters
of a momentous stream.
Flowing and growing
as minutes seem to fly
displays all the shadows
another day gone by.
Sometimes many feelings
might be just a thing
another day gone by
while wishing for spring.
Often our perception
of a timeless array
is another day gone by
with day after day.
Painted with emotions
with thoughts flying high
are scenes many find with
another day gone by.

Within A Rainbow

As clouds accumulate
in the sky overhead
some raindrops may fall
to fill a riverbed.
Then as the raindrops
slowly fade from the sky
there’s within a rainbow
a wondrous reply.
Words found as colors
with an arch there and to
there’s found then displaying
some red,  green and blue.
Colors all united
displaying many more
found within a rainbow
of a skylight open door.
Cherished are the glimmers
of the rainbows design
that are found displaying
in a moment of time.
Those colors God has painted
are found to and fro
as heartbeats of the raindrops
within a rainbow.

The Dawn

The end of nighttime
is found without stars
and lesser of moonlight
or Venus and Mars.
The dawn is a moment
that comes with daylight
while saying farewell
to the darkness of night.
The day might still show us
some nighttime reviews
that before the dawn
were starlight’s night cruise.
Nighttime will return
with its glittery face
lit up by the starlight
each magical place.
Yet at the end of it
time will move on
finding the formation
sunshine and the dawn.

A Snowy Spring

The sense of springtime
does not show
way up here now
only snow.
Winters values
are still seen
as that of
a snowy spring.
The days are counted
snowy white
found in daytime
and at night.
Yet the white snow
that I see
reminds of Jesus
love so free.
Cleaning sins
as white as snow
giving passage
where we go.
A snowy spring
is love so well
how Jesus gave
a way from Hell.

A Distant Thought

So long ago
we might remember
a distant thought
found in December.
A thought of Christmas
times of joy
when we were
a little girl or boy.
That special time
which surely shows
might remember
how it snows.
Seasonal shadows
glimmer so bright
times we remember
filled with delight.
Those special moments
so timelessly sought
are Christmas echoes
of a distant thought.

The Sea At Night

Islands of memories
found with starlight
are with the waves
of the sea at night.
Shimmering moonlight
found on the waves
reflects as a blessing
that Jesus Christ saves.
The sea at night
is a wonderful thing
found as blissful
and comforting scene.
The sound it makes
as it comes ashore
is one that I truly
do so adore.
It’s flavors of ocean
with waves crashing in
the sea at night
agin and agin.

Watching For Rain

As snowflakes are falling
I’m watching for rain
seeking for springtime
with snow to abstain.
Yet now this moment
I can only see white
as snow is falling
each day and each night.
I’m watching for rain
while time ticks along
seeking for the day
that the white snow is gone.
The snow is real pretty,
but I’ve had my fill,
for there’s such a thing
as a true over kill.
The sunshine’s so blinding
while as a reflection
making no difference
with your sights direction.
So I find myself now
just watching for rain
while I try hard to
not daily complain.

Written Words

Thoughts we read
as written words
live as moments
flock of birds.
Thoughts we’ve found
in black and white
are written words
of wrong and right.
Often written
are mistakes
words we wrote
in our Earth quakes.
Don’t make written
words you say
to be mistaken
day by day.
Take some time
to think it out
before you write
a certain bout.
You might find
your penciled thought
might just change
the way it ought.

Drifting Away

As sleep is found
the end of day
the mind finds peace
while drifting away.
A restful sleep
so needed true
drifting away
makes life anew.
Then as slumbers
dreams will soar
there might be
an oceans shore.
The waves of time
so filled with peace
drifting away
as its release.
Displaying journeys
as a soufflé
when sleep is found
while drifting away.

The Universe

The sky above
beyond our view
is found as black
what we see blue.
The universe
so far and wide
has some planets
deep inside.
Some as glowing
sparks of light
seen as stars
our every night.
Yet some planets
far away
are just glimmers
sought array.
The universe
holds many places
with some wondrous
open spaces.
Beyond our sight
there might just be
someone there
like you and me.
God’s creations
we can’t perceive
needs us all
to just believe.
For His power
has no end
what He’s made
that shall transcend.

Haiku
for Mar 30,  2014

A simple journey
could be just disillusioned
for what’s expected.

Having a problem
gives room for a few lessons
if viewed correctly.

If a time is missed
it might of been necessary
due to your knowledge.

Growth is a factor
that comes from many speed bumps
as well as our years.

Catching a snowflake
needs you to have a warm heart
and hands not so warm.

When today is gone
it might be a memory
found in our future.

Knowing the answers
does not mean that they are right.
They are just answers.

Meanings of a word
are often found deciphered
in ones own wave length.

The sight of the moon
does not mean that it’s nighttime,
for it might be day.

Wisdom’s a turnstile
that many need to go through,
before using it.

Life as a light bulb
often finds times not so bright
as wires are crossed.

The practice of love
with Jesus as the teacher
makes it much better.

Leaving yesterday
as a timeless experience
will help you to grow.

Nobodies heartbeat
is greater than Lord Jesus,
for His Love is pure.

A wave in motion
makes a crashing sound ashore
that displays peaceful.

Morning comes dawning
as a goodbye to nighttime
and smile for today.

Flavors of starlight
come as twinkling reunions
of distant stages.

The words that we say
might just come back to haunt us,
so careful with words.

Meaningless chatter
fills a room with confusion
that might need not said.

Leaning to greatly
on someone you call a friend
might run them away.

Not seeing the truth
could cause you to live a lie
until it explodes.

Beyond what we see
is a journey we must find
one step at a time.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

So here I am again with another few words to say about
snow LOL.  Where has spring hidden at?  I haven’t seen
it since my wife and I moved to Maine where most of her
family lives.  I’m a Texan and used to seeing spring,  but
since we moved up here December of 2007 I haven’t seen it.
LOL,  it goes straight from winter to summer.  I do or did
love snow,  but I do get tired of the white stuff after about
5 or 6 months of it LOL.  Oh well,  our little boys have fun
playing with me in it.  Of course Benny loves the snow a
bit more than Milo LOL.  Benny’s still a pup.  Milo is an
old man like me hehehe.  He’s 9 years old.  Benny is only
2 years old.  They keep Judy and I entertained.  God knew
that we needed them and they needed us.  It’s just a tad
cold outside right now.  21 F degrees to be more precise.
This dad burned computer is giving being a pain in the
behind.  I managed to finally get a malware off of this
thing that was giving me a hard time,  but now all of the
emails in Windows live show only dead links in places
there should be pictures LOL.  I hate Windows 8 and
all that is in it.  That is why I use my other PC that still
has Windows XP and Outlook Express on it to do my
emails and send LOL.  Yet when my old PC died and
the dude that moved my files over to this piece of junk
it sort of messed me up,  being you cannot export from
Windows Live to Outlook Express.  It will only export
from Outlook Express to Windows Live.  Fortunately
I had backed up my email addresses so I was able to
to import them into the PC I bought specifically for
doing my emails that has Windows XP and Outlook
Express LOL.  It’s just got a real small monitor,  but
I will maybe one day invest in a larger one for it :).
So enough with my bickering about Windows 8 and
all of its garbage LOL.  It’s not the end of the world.
Benny and I went outside this morning and while he
romped around in the snow,  I took a few pictures
of the scenery as well as a few of him hehehe.  The
sky was so blue as the clouds floated passed.  I had
to take a few pictures of it.  Benny was climbing
all over the snow mounds LOL.  Milo was in the
house lying on our bed with Judy watching cartoons.
We were up all night watching some new found TV
programs.  Most of our favorites has ended their
season and so we found something else to watch
until the new seasons start.  I fixed Judy and I some
breakfast a few hours ago and after we ate,  Judy
said she was still sleepy,  so she took a little nap.
Now she’s keeping Benny and Milo in the bedroom
so they won’t bother me while I try to write hehehe.
When they’re in here,  they want my undivided
attention LOL.  Milo was just scratching at the
door wanting in so Judy is bringing him and Benny
in to give them their Dentist Sticks LOL.  That will
maybe keep them pacified for a bit.  Hehehehe
it sure is loud down there in the floor.  “Crunching
crunchy crunch :)”.  Now,  they have finished with
their Dentist Sticks.  Maybe it will be quiet for a
little while hehehe or at least until I finish with this
mess LOL.  The sky is now mostly cloudy as the
sun is going down.  At least it’s not snowing hehehe.
We have quite enough snow outside thank you :).
It is very beautiful outside with the snow against
the distant scenery.  God is most surely the best
artist.  He can paint a picture so intense that our
eyesight can only perceive portions of its beauty.
I take my camera out most every day and try to
capture as much of His magnificence  in a frame
that I can.  Yet it seems that my photos are never
even close to what He painted.  Each day gives us
many things to see of God’s handiwork.  Don’t let
a moment to steal the joy of a lifetime that God
paints for us to see.  Look passed the corruptness
that we have done and see all of the beauty that
He has done.  Often our own clouded perception
will prevent us from seeing the miracles that God
has given us.  I thank God for the blessings that
He gives me every day.  I may not see them at the
moment,  but I know that they are there.  I guess
I need to cease my rambling and take a little look
back through all that I’ve written here to see if
I can find a good word or phrase that I can use for
the title for today’s brand new poem.  So,  it’s off
I go to that place of my recollection that I always
like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I might
of found a good title,  but must check to see if it’s
not been used already LOL.  Nope,  I ain’t used
it yet,  so here goes nothing hehehe.

Clouded Perception

Looks of another
might deceive your view
your clouded perception
might not see so true.
The moments displaying
might be mistaken
what your perception
has surely partaken.
Scenes that we may have
found gone awry
clouded perception
might see just a lie.
For many moments
we’ve found day to day
are just our perception
that’s gone all astray.
Let not a moment
that displays in time
become as your only
view down the line.
Remember that we all
often fall down
so don’t be so quick to
judge ones Hell bound.

Alrighty then hehehe,  there ya go.  I hope you managed
to stay awake through my rambling and you enjoyed the
poem.  It’s a little after 7 PM and the sun has gone down.
The temperature has dropped to 16 F as well hehehehe.
It’s supposed to get down to –4 F by morning.  Tomorrow
it’s supposed to be a high of 19 F degrees LOL.  Nope
it ain’t spring up here :).  The boys are sleep in their lil
doggy beds in between Judy and I and before Milo starts
snoring I guess I need to finish this up.  So I reckon it’s
time to tell you what I tell you every week and that is,
I wrote some more poems and haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more
poems,  but once again no Christmas poems hehehehe.
Maybe next week.  Also I wrote 22 more haiku  for all
of my haiku lovers out there.  LOL I actually got a bit
carried away and wrote one extra,  so there are 23 of
em this week.  I hope you find one or two of either or
both that you like.  LOL Milo just started snoring :).
I could swear he sounds just like a pig snorting hehehe.
Could he get a little closer to the radiator heater LOL?
He’s lying with his head right up against it hehehehe.
I guess when he gets too warm,  he’ll move or poach
himself hehehe.  I’m sure he’ll move.  It’s not nothing
new.  They both do it quite often,  especially after
they have come in from outside LOL.  So,  I guess
I need to be searching for that confounded off switch,
but not before I wish you a most wonderful and God
filled week.  Remember,  Jesus loves you and we
do too.  Now to find that off switch.  Ok,   where are
ya hiding this week ya silly thing?  LOL hiding on
Milo’s head wasn’t quite that great huh.  Just a tad
warm for ya I reckon hehehe.  I saw smoke coming
from you.  Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

P.S.
Judy helped me to come up with some new titles
for a few of my poems below.  Hehehe one of them
is called I Don’t Know,  cause when I asked her
what’s a good title to use,  this what she said LOL,
yep you guessed it hehehe,  “I Don’t Know” 🙂

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22+1 hehehehehehehehe 🙂

Life of Times

Sights we’ve seen
each passing day
will be often
gone away
Life of times
is sometimes seen
that of colors
red and green.
Different ventures
far and wide
life of times
is found inside.
With each journey’s
stepping stone
some might seem
they’re all alone.
Yet Lord Jesus
can be there
with a little
moments prayer.
Life of times
of passing days
can be strength
in wondrous ways.
Bringing joyful
found designs
into your own

A Chance At Love

Without some love
found inside you
there might be
a saddened view.
You need to love
yourself inside
before true love
can take a ride.
Learn to love
what God has made
inside your heart
so Heaven laid.
Let not hateful
to reside
within your heart
no love applied.
Hate the ways
of evil done
but find love
through God’s Own Son.
Learn to look
within a mirror
and see life
a little clearer.
A chance at love
can be so true
if God lives
inside of you.

Looking Seeing

Many portions
of our sight
looking seeing
seems in flight.
Knowing going
steps in time
looking seeing
might just rhyme.
As some echoes
found repeating
in our mind is
looking seeing.
Not allowing
now today
looking seeing
fades away.
Let the journeys
of your sight
look to see
what’s really right.
Looking seeing
what that’s true
now and then
in front of you.

When Winter Passes

Seasonal changes
from snowflakes to rain
makes many people
to always complain.
When winter passes
it leaves in its wake
time for green grasses
and flowers to make.
Scenes might still be with
a bit of white snow,
but it will melt then
to help things to grow.
Blessings so wondrous
found within each sight
under the snow
will then see daylight.
Trees start to blooming
they’re leaves oh so green
when winter passes
and changes the scene.
Flowers then blossom
with colors so great
when winter passes
to another times date.

Signs We Pass

Window shopping
for a smile
signs we pass
might then compile.
Smiles we’ve seen
in wondrous places
on the strangest
peoples faces.
The signs we pass
with questions why
often grow
as we go by.
All those signs
from here to there
that at times
don’t seem so fair,
yet at times
those signs we pass
might say slow
don’t go so fast.
Let your shopping
for a smile
begin inside
for a little while.
Then your shopping
might just find
better smiles
from time to time.
Don’t let signs
of passing days
make you see
but only greys.
Signs we pass
might be mistaken
from a time
that we were shaken.
Learn to let go
of what’s done
forgiving you
and another one.

New England Spring

There’s still white snow
that falls down each day
New England spring
from March into May.
The seasonal changes
will only begin
when summer gets closer
to wintertime’s end.
New England spring
is only a time
found on the calendar
southern design.
Yet way up here
in Northeastern Maine
Spring only comes
more snow to attain.
Surely then wintertime
lets loose its hold,
then close to summer
it’s not all that cold.
So,  up here we only
see spring has sprung
when it has passed to

The Heart of  Dog

A dog shows it’s love
often when we do not
the heart of dog
is often forgot.
We are found hateful
to each one another
when a dogs love
goes then much further.
God sent a dog
to show us so true
what that should live
inside me and you.
The heart of a dog
is forgivingness found
even we we’re not
often around.
It shows a smile
to cheer when we’re sad.
The heart of a dog
is the best that I’ve had.
I thank God for dogs
that smile every day
showing their love
in a wonderful way.
The heart of a dog
is a blessing so true
that God has given
to help me and you.

Looking Upwards

Skies of white
with falling snow
looking upwards
now below.
I see snowflakes
fancy free
looking upwards
over me.
Skies of beauty
snowy filled
make my eyes
to be so thrilled.
Looking upwards
I find true
a sky of white
no sight of blue.
Scenes so snowy
and so cold
looking upwards
I behold.

I Don’t Know

Time to time
and to and fro
I must say that
I don’t know.
Lost in wonder
filled with dream
my mind flows
a minutes stream.
Pouring waters
thoughts unheard
I don’t know
become my word.
For the journeys
that I find
I don’t know
lives in my mind.
Often roadblocks
come in place
to slow down
my daily race.
I don’t know then
is my words
as if questions
flocks of birds.
Often I’m found
to and fro
with my answers
I don’t know.

Life’s Excuses

Things we’ve done
without true reason
life’s excuses
come in season.
Giving reasons
for our journeys
often turns to
dreams attorneys.
Often what we
should of said
turns to crossroads
in our head.
Life’s excuses
live and breathe
how so many
do believe.
Not allowing
what that’s true
to be seen
within our view.
Life’s excuses
need to cease
while we seek for
daily peace.
Letting truthful
become found
as we seek God’s
solid ground.

Haiku
for Mar 22,  2014

With but just a thought
a timeframe can be twisted
into a pretzel.

Many times meanings
are lost behind perception
and found without truth.

Blue skies above us
might be hidden from our view
just as clouds of words.

Believing blindly
is the show of real true faith,
but don’t be stupid.

Don’t let your wording
to become a fish story
that is only lies.

Morning brings sunshine
often hidden from our view,
but yet it is there.

Living in a life
that is awakened with smiles
will display sunshine.

Time becomes longer
when it’s filled with impatience,
so breathe in some peace.

Walking on thin ice
guarantees a little swim
if you’re not careful.

When trouble arrives
let God help you deal with it
and you’ll be OK.

The look of liars
is often found in actions
that they’re not aware.

Nobody’s alone
when Jesus lives in their heart,
so know Him today.

Cherished are the times
that we remember so well,
but maybe not so.

When amidst some rain
have some faith for a rainbow
that comes afterwards.

Our likes and dislikes
display our differences
and alikeness’s.

Wisdom comes knocking
often when we’re mistaken
and learn the hard way.

The sight of snowflakes
when it’s supposed to be spring
brings me confusion.

Moonlight’s reflection
makes nighttime into daytime
as glimmers of white.

Beyond perception
is our decisive thinking
what we want to see.

Limbs may be hidden
under winters fallen snow,
but they will survive.

Sunshine’s snowy day
is a bright one reflecting
with blinding array.

Fearing tomorrow
is a worry not needed,
for now is today.

Allowing others
to determine your feelings
gives them great power.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s a partly cloudy day with the wind blowing briskly.  The high
for today is supposed to be 18 F degrees with a low of -4 tonight
and there’s no more snow forecasted for the next few days thank
God :).  We got about two foot last week then another few inches
Saturday.  It’s been a snowy winter.  Benny and Milo have been
playing in the snow.  Yes,  I’ve been playing in the snow as well :).
I took my conga drums out in a snow storm and did a little conga
playing.  It was short and sweet being my fingers were freezing,
but Benny enjoyed me playing them as he romped around in the
snow LOL.  Milo stayed inside being he had already been out
in the snow.  He’s old and doesn’t like to play in the snow quite
as much as Benny.  I even have my limits to how long I can do
it hehehe.  I’m old too :).  While I was playing my drums I was
being covered with snow LOL.  The wind was blowing snow all
over the place hehehe.  I got a good video out of it :).  Today it
looks like it’s gonna be a cold one with a winds blowing 15 to 20
mile per hour with 40 mile an hour gusts.  Milo just came in the
room telling me in his own little way that he needs to go outside
and go potty,  so I’ll be back…….  Back!  Benny went outside
with Milo.  I’ll go check on them in a few minutes to make sure
they haven’t gotten themselves stuck in the deep snow.  They
both went on a little snow trudging adventure yesterday and I
thought I was gonna have to put on my snow attire and go and
get them LOL.  Milo made it out first,  but Benny didn’t make
it out until I had gone inside to change shoes LOL.  He found
a way out on his own hehehe.  I always keep tabs on them to
make sure they’re OK.  Speaking of which,  I’ve gotta go and
check to see if they’re ready to come in.  I can hear Milo at
the front door barking saying he’s ready to come back in LOL.
They were both ready to come in.  Milo came in and Benny
must of heard when I opened the door to let him in,  because
the next time I looked out,  he was sitting at the bottom of
the steps ready to come in as well :).  I had already donned
my shoes to go and check on him LOL.  So I let him in and
took off my shoes.  So it’s back to the journal :).  Milo is now
lying on the bed with Judy.  Benny is in the floor on his back
wanting me to pet him LOL.  These two boys are attention
hounds hehehe.  Boy,  that wind is really blowing out there.
So what’s been happening around the Pearce’s Place other
than snow?  LOL good question.  We have been doing a lot
of walking on the treadmill that Judy’s sister Barbara gave
us.  My head has stopped spinning since my fall last week.
We both have been doing two sets of walks on the treadmill
every day.  We’re hoping to get in good enough shape that
we can buy us some bicycles and take rides together with
Benny and Milo onboard in bike pet carriers 🙂  That’s
what our future is directed to,  but for now we’ll keep on
with our walks on the treadmill while Benny and Milo
watch from the sidelines hehehe.  Judy walks out with
me to the mailbox every once in a while.  That’s kind of
a hard walk,  being there are a lot of bumps and holes
in the driveway to the mailbox at the county road and
it’s hard on the ankles.  I have to walk in the snow most
times to keep from sliding on the ice,  but somebody’s
gotta check the mail.  I sure wish it would hurry up with
spring,  but then springtime never really shows its face
around here.  It always goes straight from wintertime
to summer.  In other words,  hiding Easter eggs in the
snow isn’t advisable LOL especially non painted ones.
Benny has gone into the bedroom and is now lying in
his doggy bed.  Milo is sound asleep on my side of our
bed LOL.  Judy’s still asleep.  So it’s just me and you
my friends and of course the wind hehehe.  Yep,  it’s
blowing so hard that I can hear it as it hits the windows.
I’m not sure what I will fix Judy and I to eat when she
gets up,  but I’ll think of something.  It’s so peaceful
around here when everybody is asleep hehehehehehe.
I hate to wake anybody up,  but we must eat.  So I guess
I need to hurry and get done with this huh.  I think we
might have to go to the grocery store sometime this week
and restock on a few things such as bread,  milk and
eggs as well as whatever else we’re needing.  I’m sure
though that I’ll be able to find something to fix us to
eat :).  The boys still have enough food for a week or
so and even some treats hehehe.  Yet,  they’re always
wanting what we’re eating and I’m always having to say
NO unless of course it’s maybe a sausage link that I
usually fix a few extra for them when I fix them for us.
They’re our little boys spoiled as they may be LOL.
We love them bunches and we can tell that they love
us also :).  If I sit in the recliner in the living room,
they will both hop right up in my lap.  Maybe not at
the same time hehehe.  Thank God for that,  being
there’s not that much room in the recliner hehehehe.
Yet,  I’m waiting for the time that they both are in
the room and want up in my lap at the same time :).
Milo tries to jump up in my lap in the PC room,  but
he can’t seem to do it,  being my computer chair is a
little higher than the recliner hehehe and I’m gonna
keep it that way LOL.  I just looked outside and it
looks like most of the clouds have blown away and
the sky is blue.  I also noticed that within that brief
moment I went snow blind LOL.  Sheesh,  and the sun
isn’t even shining on this side of the house.  Yet the
reflection off the snow is bright as all get out hehehe.
My eyesight is coming back slowly :).  I’ll have to
most surely do an error check before I send this
to you LOL.  Typo city!  I think I might ought to
put some shades on next time before looking out
the window or letting the boys out or in hehehehe.
They have a lot of hair over their eyes that blocks
out the sun.  After the snow has melted,   we’ll trim
the hair over their eyes 🙂  When it warms up a bit
we will trim their hair.  Right now,  it’s still too cold
to take off their winter coat also being that they
love to play in the freaking snow hehehe.  OK so it
looks like I have depleted the info about our lives
for this week :).  God has most assuredly kept His
Mighty Hands upon us with protection.  I can feel
His presence every day.   I can also feel my daddy’s
spirit watching over us as well as so many others.
If you have not accepted God into your heart yet,
you have no idea of what you’re missing.  Yes you
will still have problems,  but you won’t have to deal
with them alone.  God’s Son will carry you when you
cannot walk in life.  Of course,  you may not see it
until that time has passed you by.  Looking back
you might see where a miracle came and brought
you where you thought you couldn’t be.  Don’t let His
Love to pass you by.  Now I believe it’s time for
me to begin my little quest back through all that
I have written here to see if I can find a good word
or phrase that I can use for the title for today’s
brand new poem.  So it’s away I go to that place of
my recollection of all I’ve written that I always like
to call RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I found a title
that I can use that I haven’t already used hehehe.
So here goes nothing.

Looking Out The Window

With sunny skies of blue
the day becomes so clear
that looking out the window
makes eyesight disappear.
For with snows reflection
of sunny skies I see
I find my eyesight lessoned
in a moments time for me.
Looking out the window
I find I see God’s face
floating in the clouds above
yes I can see a trace.
Yet when I’m looking downwards
to the white and snowy ground
I can see reflections
that my eyesight can’t be found.
God’s own mighty power
is found in everything
looking out the window
as I’m searching now for spring.
Winter winds are blowing
as clouds all float on by
while looking out the window
and asking reasons why.
Time now seems as seconds
with minutes multiplied
looking out the window
as my eyesight takes a ride.
Now I look back inside
at the sights of which I see
that looking out the window
now reflect right back at me.
My own times found perception
lives as days arrive
while looking out the window
and searching through the skies.

I hope you enjoyed the poem and maybe even a bit of my
rambling LOL.  My nose is stopped up darn it.  Where’s
my nose drops?   There they are hehehe!  Gotta breathe :).
Now back to writing.  I can hear the house rattling as the
wind blows against it.  It’s kind of serenading and making
me sleepy hehehe.  I just heard the jingle of one of the boys
collars.  I wonder which one is up?  I just peeked in and saw
Benny sitting looking up at Milo.  Then I took a visit to the
bathroom and when I came out,  Benny had hopped up on
the bed with Milo LOL.  Judy said hello hehehe.  I think
Benny woke her when he hopped up.  They sort of have
Judy trapped.  Benny is on one side of her legs and Milo
is on the other hehehe.  I reckon I need to be finding an
ending so I can fix her and I some breakfast,  so I guess
I need to tell you what I tell you every week and that is,
I wrote some more poems and haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more
poems and 22 more haiku for all of my haiku lovers out
there.  Nope,  no Christmas poems this week :).  Ok so
with that said,  I guess I need to be searching for that
confounded off switch that loves to emulate the game
of hide and seek LOL,  but not before I wish you a most
wonderful and God filled week.  Remember,  Jesus loves
you and we do too.  Now to find that off switch.  I think
I see the little whippersnapper trying to hide within the
window.  That actually was a good choice aside from my
glance at the blinding sunlight and seeing it’s shadow :).
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

P.S.  For you that are receiving this stationery style.
No I did not build that snowman in my pictures LOL.

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Confused Beyond

When mornings sun
is hid from view
it seems that snow
is then anew.
Falling vastly
to and fro
I’m found confused
beyond the snow.
My senses tell me
spring should be
the sights today
that I should see.
Yet I’m confused
beyond my sight
seeing snowflakes
left and right.
The snow has seemed
to not be gone
and leaving me
confused beyond.

When Today

As time ticks on
with whens and whys
where and how
are found replies.
When today
is finally seen
it might be found
a rushing stream.
Pages turning
where they’re going
when today
is then bestowing.
Pictures might seem
to display
the things we find
in when today.
The lack of focus
might be deep
when today
is lack of sleep.
Find some restful
in a prayer
then when today
will have fresh air.

Darkness Comes

Day finds endings
setting suns
bringing shadows
darkness comes.
In that darkness
many find
imagination
time to time.
Darkness comes
with certain sounds
coming from
what then surrounds.
Many stages
darkness seen
might be nightmares
or a dream.
Yet the darkness
comes to be
filled with hope
to surely see.
Let the night skies
paint a view
that of beauty
within you.
Don’t let darkness
fill your mind
with the fears
of all man kind.
For the darkness
comes with sight
that you can see
with a little light.

Life Finds Peace

If a storm cloud
comes with rain
it does no good
to complain.
Find the goodness
in each drop
as the storm cloud
may soon stop.
Don’t let sadness
come to you
if a storm cloud
starts anew.
Let your heart to
find release
for with Jesus
life finds peace.
Heavens glimmers
ease the pain
life finds peace
within the rain.

Dancing Sunbeams

Found by morning
sunbeams grow
reflecting off
the fallen snow.
Dancing sunbeams
prance around
on the snow
upon the ground.
Then those glimmers
of sunlight
seem to blind
my every sight.
Dancing prancing
thereunto
all those sunbeams
blind my view.
Yet with sunshades
I can see
dancing sunbeams
fancy free.
Making all the
scenes divine
reflecting snow
with bright sunshine.

Things We See

Time to time
the things we see
might be sights
we don’t agree.
The things we see
misunderstood
might be just things
we thought not good.
So many things
we see each day
are just a sight
behind the grey.
For hidden good
are many things
thought as nightmares,
really dreams.
The things we see
might time to time
be seen unclear
within our mind.

The Summer Stars

My memories
of Venus and Mars
are hidden in
the summer stars.
The star lit nights
that twinkled so
were as night lights
that seemed to grow.
The summer stars
with moon above
were as a Heavenly
nighttime dove.
Scenes recorded
in my eyes
the summer stars
then filled the skies.
I searched the night
with starlit hue
to find my heart
within the view.
The summer stars
are now just dreams
found in winters
snow filled scenes.
I’m found strumming
with dreams guitars
searching for
the summer stars.

Island of Snow

While wintertime
still holds so true
it’s everyday
within my view
the sights I see
with to and fro
are found just like
an island of snow.
The scenes display
a certain sign
that’s found so white
with wintertime.
An island of snow
in a field of white
is now what’s seen
my wintery sight.
I see not a sign
of springtime’s array
in the island of snow
that’s found everyday.
My eyes still seek
the spring I know
through the sights
of an island of snow.

Morning’s Flavor

Dawning of daylight
with so much to savor
is what that taste like
my mornings flavor.
Morning’s arrival
comes at a glance
with what it gives as
it’s song and dance.
Often with snowflakes,
and often with rain,
then often sunshine
of time and again.
Sceneries threshold
opens to find
my morning’s flavor
with greatest design.
Sometimes the sunlight
of dawning of day
gives morning’s flavor
a magical way.
Peeking through tree limbs
and over hillsides
the morning’s flavor then
surely resides.
Painting emotions
upon everything
sometimes as winter
then sometimes as spring.

Warm Caress

A touch of peace
from God above
gives warm caress
to bring you love.
This warm caress
of hearts desires
can become
as raging fires.
Starting flames
with just a word
into the lives
that never heard.
A warm caress
that’s Heaven sent
can change the lives
of ones Hell bent.
A simple word
and act of love
can give ones peace
from God above.

Haiku
for Mar 15,  2014

Counting the minutes
only makes time go slower
seeming much longer.

When today finds end
it leaves a trail in time
that might reflect back.

Doors to tomorrow
begin with a few choices
with some good and bad.

Having some chances
can often be dynamite
destroying what’s good.

Leaves of winters trees
often have snow upon them
weighing down their limbs.

A journey in time
might begin with some troubles
that help you to grow.

The matter of heart
is a glimmer of truthful
that needs to be seen.

A simple snowflake
becomes mounds as more gather,
for united it grows.

Looking passed present
you might miss many moments
that right now provides.

A new lease on life
cannot begin without change
that is found within.

Songs on the radio
can change your own perception
if you allow them.

We’re links to a chain
that often finds some bad links
that need some repair.

When doorways open
they allow many chances
and some not so good.

Alone in a dream
could leave ones on the outside
that could help your dream.

A persons shadow
emulates all their footsteps,
so watch where you go.

A ship that’s anchored
ceases movement straight ahead
and cannot reach shore.

When without lessons
you might find your ignorance
knocking real loudly.

Luxuries of life
can sometimes weaken your mind
and also your soul.

Looking for better
needs you to know what it is
or you might find worse.

Morning’s own sunshine
can be hidden behind clouds,
but still be shining.

In the evenings shade
the stars are waiting to shine
along with the moon.

A breath of Heaven
can be found in a heartbeat
that God does reside.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

How are you doing?  I’m having a bit of a problem thinking
due to an accident yesterday.  It snowed a bit early Saturday
and left a glaze of snow on the ground,  that I didn’t think as
being that slippery,  but when I went out to the road to check
the mail,  my feet went out from under me and found myself
airborne until I landed on my back slamming the back of my
head on the road.  Since then,  I have been sort of in a haze
with the room spinning ever so often.  I know there’s nothing
that can be done for a brain concussion,  so I am just waiting
for my brain to heal itself.   Judy had gone to Brewer with her
sister Barbara to take her dog to the vet.  I managed to get
back on my feet and stagger back to the house.  The boys
were out in the driveway watching with their concerned lil
eyes :).  None the less,  the spinning has slacked off a little
bit LOL.  Right now it’s hard to focus,  but I’ll get er done :).
We’re expecting a little more snow Monday and Tuesday
with maybe even a bit more Wednesday and Thursday.
The temperature is supposed to be a little warmer though
and that’s great.  Right now it’s 26 F degrees and supposed
to be a low of –5 by Monday morning.  Our new car battery
is doing great.  It’s starting the car up like a champ :).  Well,
it’s onto another topic.  Judy’s sister gave us a treadmill and
it’s set up in our living room.  That will help us to get some
exercise on the days that it’s nasty outside.  Milo was just
scratching at the door saying he needs to go out and potty.
I had to stop and let him out and of course little brother
Benny wanted to go outside with him LOL.  Maybe Judy
will let them back in if she hears them barking at the door.
Judy was asleep until I woke her asking where Milo’s dog
collar was.  She took it off the other day when he came in
with a poopy butt and I had to wash him and we forgot to
put it back on him.  I noticed he wasn’t jingling when I was
putting his electronic fence collar on him.  I had to start
putting the electronic collars back on them since we had
a new neighbor move in with a big black lab.  Benny and
Milo keep focused on him or her from a distance.  So far
they haven’t given any sign of wanting to go over and play
with it,  so in time I will maybe stop with the electronic dog
collars.  The Pearce’s Place is pretty much the same as
always hehehe.  My head is still sort of in haze with the
ever so often spinning.  I’m just glad that I didn’t lose my
memory.  Could ya imagine me our there in the road,  not
knowing who I am or where I was going,  or worse yet,
where I live LOL.  Of course I’m pretty sure somebody
nearby would have pointed out where I live and told me
my name,  but still it would be scary.  So,  what else is
going on around this place?  I got my notification on my
Windows XP PC about Microsoft ceasing their updates,
but I’m not concerned LOL.  I have all of the programs
that I need to protect me and keep me up and running.
Most of their updates are just memory hogs anyways.
I finally printed out some pictures and made a copy of
my Christmas DVD and it’s ready to send to my friend
Jimmy in Oregon.  I guess I got a bit off track with all
of the snow and playing with the boys LOL.  Anyways,
he sent me an email the other day asking about it and
told him that I would get it in the mail next week.  So the
next time Judy and I go to WalMart I’ll get a package
to send it in and drop it in the mailbox.  Judy’s watching
TV with the boys in the bedroom.  It’s looking like I may
have to go and get me a soda water.  My can is empty :).
I opened the door and there were Benny and Milo smiling.
Judy said she had to keep telling them not to scratch at
the door.  They wanted to come in and see me LOL.  It
was an attack as opened the door.  They both pounced
on me hehehe.  Though being so dizzy,  I almost tripped
over them.  It’s really hard to write right now,  but I will
continue on until I can type no longer LOL.  MMMM
good Mountain Dew.  Judy and I have our TV watching
schedule made up for tonight,  so I’m anxious to get this
done and sent :).  Now if my head would just agree with
me and let me do it LOL.  My marbles got rattled hehehe.
Benny was barking at something he heard in the living
room and Judy finally got him to hush and come in the
bedroom with her and Milo LOL.  If Benny hears the
slightest knock,  he starts barking to let us know hehehe.
He’s an overactive guard dog LOL.  We love him and
Milo very much.  Milo will start barking if he senses
that Benny might be onto something hehehe.  They are
silly,  but they’re our boys.  It’s amazing how well they
get along hehehe.  Well,  it’s 23 F degrees now and it’s
getting colder.  Judy’s in the bedroom watching Cosmos
on TV.  A new episode is coming on at 9 o’clock tonight.
Oh yea,  did you remember to set your clocks up an
hour, if of course you are where that you do stupid stuff
like that LOL.  I for one think daylight savings time is a
bunch a bull and doesn’t save anything.  It just messes
with peoples minds and their schedules.  None the less
our clocks have been changed.  Of course our PC clocks
change automatically.  All though if you didn’t change
your clock,  you may have been an hour late for church
or work hehehe.  LOL I haven’t changed the clock on
my side of the bed in years.  It’s right for a few months
and wrong for a few hehehe.  Of course now it’s off quite
a bit due to it being freaking OLD like me hehehehehe.
I know,  age wise I might not be that old,  but my body
is showing wear and tear that numbers don’t coincide.
I guess I need to hurry up and get this written so I can
go and watch Cosmos with Judy and the boys hehehe.
There’s not much else to tell ya.  We live a pretty simple
life.  We always have God with us as each day comes
with its mysteries.  Yea,  we often find ourselves in a
bad way,  but God sends angels to pull us out.  Life isn’t
meant to be a piece of cake every day.  There’s going
to be a few bumps in the road time to time to mix it up
a bit hehehe.  It’s those bumps in the road that make us
more thankful for the smooth ones.  Let God ride with
you in your day to day life and as bumps come along and
let Him catch you in His Hands.  You might not see the
road being smoothed out,  but it happens if we will have
faith in Him and do our part.  Just sitting around waiting
for God to do something will only make matters worse,
for He will not do what we are able to do for ourselves.
Now I believe it’s time once again for me to be visiting
that place of my recollection through all that I have
written here to see if I can find a good word or phrase
that I can use for the title for today’s brand new poem.
So,  it’s away I go to that place of my recollection that
I always like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.  I believe
I may have found a title that I haven’t used :).  Yep,
haven’t used it YET!  So,  here goes nothing!

Numbers Don’t Coincide

Our lives might seem long
in our times by and by,
but health might display then
the reasons for why.
Those numbers of ages
that many count true
might not show the fractions
of pain within you.
Let God do the counting
this rollercoaster ride
for He knows our health wise
numbers don’t coincide.
The journeys we’ve taken
with foothills of gain
might become larger
with numbers of pain.
Yet all those numbers
that we’ve counted from
should lead directions
to God’s Only Son.
Times that we’ve worried
through ages applied
the truth is that really
numbers don’t coincide.

I hope that made sense to you hehehe.  It does to me.  I’ve
lost track of all the people that have said,  “you’re not old”.
Numbers don’t have anything to do with it LOL.  So,  did ya
enjoy my rambling?   I hope I didn’t bore ya to tears hehehe.
It’s 8:12 PM right now and 18 F degrees.  I guess I need to
hurry and finish this so I can have it done before Cosmos the
new episode comes on.  So with not further ado I’ll tell you
what I tell you every week and that is,  I wrote some more
poems and haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more poems with 1 of them
being a Christmas poem.  Also once again I wrote 22 more
haiku for all of my haiku lovers out there.  I hope you find
1 or 2 or either or both that you like.  Now,  it’s time for me
to begin my search for that elusive off switch,  but before I
do I will wish you a most wonderful and God filled week.
Remember,  Jesus loves you and we do too.  Now where’s
that dad gum off switch hiding this week.  LOL making it
easy for me are ya.  Hiding behind my nose drops when
knowing full well that I’ll see ya when I grab the bottle
for squirt or two hehehehe.  Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

When The Time Comes

As minutes tick on
with doorways we enter
when the time comes
becomes front and center.
Soon before noticed
some things will begin
when the time comes
for life entered in.
Lessons as starships
disperse what we see
when the time comes
to be what will be.
Then as the doorways
of minutes reside
when the time comes
will let you inside.
So as the timeframes
count to and fro
when the time comes
will be rightly so.

A Pleasant Day

Mornings glory
shines so bright
a pleasant day
that comes in sight.
Scenes so greatly
brought alive
are as stories
that survive.
A pleasant day
begins with you
in the way
you seek to view.
The only sad things
that can come
are our thoughts
from sun to sun.
A pleasant day
can become seen
brought alive
within a dream.
Mornings glory
then so bright
a pleasant day
will come in sight.

December Snowflakes

With Christmas arriving
so many will find
December snowflakes
inside of their mind.
Seeking that moment
when snowflakes fall down
then landing softly
upon the cold ground.
December snowflakes
are wondrous delight
giving a magical
Christmassy sight.
The glimmers of snowflakes
falling so free
are of the blessings
God gave you and me.
December snowflakes
that come into view
tell of the arrival
of blessings so true.
Scenes found lit up
so wonderfully bright
that in December
they light up the night.
Twinkling in essence
of colorful scenes
are of December
with reds, blues and greens.
Painted as artwork
and scented with love
December snowflakes
then fall from above.
Making the pictures
of every detail
feel as a blessing
with Jesus set sail.

Planting Thoughts

Seeds as thinking
what to do
becomes portholes
in our view.
Planting thoughts
in hurried time
can be good
or bad design.
Let your thinking
be in stride
of what’s true
that lives inside.
Don’t let lies
to steal your joy
planting thoughts
that just destroy.
Let the best
of you be found
planting thoughts
on solid ground.

Ventured Highways

Roads we’ve traveled
minutes earned
ventured highways
are discerned.
Different highways
rough not smooth
make a journeys
ventured groove.
All remembered
distant days
are so often
our highways.
Sometimes moments
going miles
leaving many
happy smiles.
Yet some ventured
highways show
bumpy miles
where all they go.
Let the highways
of what’s done
help you see
a brand new sun.
Through the miles
of yesterday
you can find
a better way.

Hearts Desires

With our choices
many choose
unknowingly
the path to lose.
Sometimes choices
hearts desires
are just raging
Satan’s fires.
Don’t let hindsight
show what’s said
what you wished
you should instead.
Hearts desires
can be true
if Lord God is
there with you.
Don’t let wanna
choose your fate
with desires
out of date.
Let your heart that
now aspires
be with Jesus
hearts desires.

Time Passes By

Stars as a window
open up in the night
displaying their journeys
until morning light.
Time is a passage
that goes here and there
while many watch it
not going nowhere.
Today becomes shadows
as time passes by
leaving so many
just wondering why.
Transforming stages
that times shadows show
becomes as the pattern
where all that they go.
Yes time passes by
with the minutes and days
leaving so many
in wondering ways.
Many will often
look back to the past
seeking the shadows
of every contrast.
Yet in their journeys
with seeking a clue
time passes by them
with much more to do.
So, in today’s venture
of wondering why
you might need to accept
that time passes by.

God Gives Us Peaceful

While we battle others
in mind set affairs
God gives us peaceful
for He truly cares.
If we’d take the time to
give Him our praise
He would most surely
make better days.
Yes we will still be
with problems and pain,
but He will be there
those times and again.
His love and mercy
will be there for you
to give you some peaceful
to carry you through.
Life is a whirlwind
of changes we find,
but God gives us peaceful
to help time to time.

When Is A Question

Looking for answers
with questions galore,
when is a question
that many ask more.
Seeking for timeframes
that answer their why’s,
when is a question
with some alibis.
Some look directions
that have not a clue
seeking the answers
that nobody knew.
When is a question
that often is found
filled with more questions
with time going round.
Sometimes the best place
to find answers when
is when that the question
is clearly set in.
Then as the question
is asked truly so
maybe somebody
will then truly know.

The Last Snowflake

As winter leaves
it brings a view
the melting snow
to waters blue.
The last snowflake
falls gracefully
and lands upon
the highest tree.
The winter scenes
of day and night
the last snow flake
then falls from sight.
Yet still winter
holds its grasp,
more snowflakes
to do its task.
The last snowflake
will surely come
when winter ends
with summers sun.

Haiku
for Mar 8,  2014

Looking for answers
will often bring more questions
seeking some answers.

The look on a face
can describe someone’s feelings
if you look closely.

With dirty windows
your view might not seem so good,
so clean up your view.

Lives of perception
display how we perceive truth
often misconceived.

In a reflection
holds the key to who we are,
but many fear it.

Though troubles might come,
there is always some peace found
just a prayer away.

The best lessons found
are often from our hard times
that left many scars.

Opportunity
is a given perception
that often destroys.

Challenging others
can find you some disasters
with you unaware.

Far beyond the stars
holds the dreams of so many
without not a clue.

Yesterdays doorways
leave many shadows displayed
of who turned the knobs.

Snowbirds of winter
play together in the snow
as we watch and smile.

Winters morning sun
comes glistening on the snow
causing snow blindness.

Two dogs prance around
as they enjoy the morning
playing in the snow.

Looks of a liar
often display tale tale signs
of what’s not the truth.

Wintertime’s journey
begins with cold winds blowing
then snow falling down.

The shadows of time
display us as some echoes
that we need to learn.

The ventures of hearts
will often reach out blindly
finding destruction.

The things remembered
are often not what happened
due to faded time.

Looks are just skin deep
and what matters is inside,
so don’t judge to fast.

The links of a chain
describe humanity combined
and how many break.

Heaven awaits us
with God’s true love found inside
with new beginnings.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

I hope you have been enjoying life.  We’ve been still dealing
with the snow LOL.  There’s still tons of that white stuff in our
yard.  It snowed again a little last night,  though not not enough
to make a difference LOL.  I still have to squint to look outside
to keep from going snow blind LOL.  Judy and I are still doing
OK.  Her sister is going to give us a treadmill to help with our
walking.  Sometimes it’s just too nasty outside to go for a walk.
We’ve gotta get our spare room cleaned out so we have room
for the treadmill though hehehe.  Our new neighbor has a big
black Lab and Benny and Milo have been wanting to go visit it.
We’re not so sure it’s the greatest idea LOL.  For now they are
to stay in our own yard and visit from afar with a bark or two.
We went to Presque Isle Thursday for one of Judy’s doctors
appointments.  It was a nice drive and yes I did as I always do.
I took pictures all the way there and back LOL.  It was -18 F
degrees before we left the house and had to get our landlord
to come and jump our car off LOL.  I think it got colder the
closer we got to Presque Isle which is about 50 miles north of
us LOL.  Anyways,  we went to Houlton Saturday and bought
us a new car battery.  The old one was worn out from all of
our cold weather hehehe.  The new battery costs $95 dollars.
It should last us a while.  We bought the other one in 2009.
Though this new battery might out live our car.  We will one
day have to get us another car,  but hopefully this one will
hang in there for another year or so :).  It is an old car LOL.
I bought it brand new in 1995.  It’s been a good car for us.
That little Mazda Protege is part of our little family hehehe.
Benny and Milo love to go for rides with us in it even if it
is most times a bumpy ride LOL.  The roads up here due to
the ice and snow melting and refreezing have tons of ice
heaves which play heck with a cars suspension system.
That’s life!  It keeps the county road crew busy when they
aren’t having to keep the roads plowed and salted so that
people can to work and other places.  Right now it’s 18 F
degrees and supposed to get down to minus 10 by Monday
morning.  Tomorrows high is supposed to be 14 F degrees
and Monday night a low of minus 16.  So wintertime is still
knocking on our door LOL.  There’s no snow forecasted
as of yet in the next few days,  so that’s good.  We have
enough hehehe.  There’s still a few feet of snow outside :).
Benny and Milo aren’t complaining,  but maybe about how
cold it is hehehe.  Like the other night I took my ambient
infrared thermometer and stuck it out of our front door and
it said –64 F degrees at the lowest.  My fingers almost
froze off holding it hehehe.  It must of been the wind chill
being we don’t have anything to block off the wind from
our house.  The nearest trees are hundreds of feet away.
So yes our little car gets the brunt of the weather as it
finds its way through our neck of the so called woods :).
I’m ready for summer or spring which ever gets here
first LOL.  Though springtime rarely shows itself up
here hehehe.  We’ve most times still got tons of snow
on the ground on through Easter LOL which explains
why they began coloring the Easter eggs hehehehehe.
Have you ever tried to find a white egg in the freaking
snow?  Not an easy task I must say hehehe!  It’s not
been all that bad this winter as far as the temperatures
and snow are concerned,  at least here it hasn’t been :).
We’ve had much worse in the past.  Though I still can
deal with the cold better than I can the heat.  With my
health issues,  the Texas heat was killing me.  LOL at
least from time to time if I get to aching too much I can
go and use the snow as an icepack on my aching body
parts,  but often it’s too cold for me to do that hehehe.
We’re still looking towards making a trip to Texas in
the next month or so.  I sure do miss my friends and
family.  We’re looking forward to visiting Van Sickle
Baptist church and all of our friends there.  I sure miss
playing in the Praise Band there.  Maybe they’ll let
me set in with the band while we’re there.  In any case,
we are hoping and praying our little car will get us to
Texas and back without too much trouble.  It’s still up
in the air to when we will make the trip,  but we will.
Judy and I drove to town a little while ago to do some
shopping and then stopped off at Dunkin Donuts and
got us some donuts for breakfast.  Benny and Milo
enjoyed the ride as always LOL.  I just let Benny in.
He wanted to go outside with Milo a little while ago,
but wasn’t ready to come back in when Milo came in.
Benny loves to play in the snow and climb the snow
mounds LOL.  He’s just a little explorer hehehehe.
If we didn’t have his sweater on he would be really
hard to see in the snow being he’s freaking white :).
I always keep tabs on them both when they go out
in the snow,  because I’m always afraid they will get
in deep snow and not be able to get out.  So,  yes
I often go to see where they are.  Yet they seem to
always manage to get through it.  Most times though
they will just walk in paths that I made for them,
but yet ever so often,  they will get off of the beaten
path and explore LOL.  We saw some Chickadees
yesterday playing in the snow.  They’re Maine’s
state bird.  We were calling them snowbirds hehehe.
They like the snow banks.  We got some pictures
of them.  Yes,  our home has been most surely
blessed and God is always watching over us with
His Love and Grace.  He gives us much beauty to
carry with us in our memories as each day come
to pass.  We’re so thankful for all of the blessings
that we have received.  Yes,  we have some off days
to where things go wrong,  but they make us even
more appreciative of the good days that we find.
Don’t stay focused on the negative.  Find the many
blessings that you have received and be thankful.
Now,  I believe it’s time for me to begin my little
quest back through all that I’ve written here to see
if I can find a good word or phrase that I can use
for the title of today’s brand new poem.  It looks
like I found one and it’s one I haven’t used,  so
here goes….

Snowbirds

Fields of white
that winters show
displays signs
of fluffy snow.
Then as mornings
come to be
snowbirds land
so fancy free.
Flying briskly
in the day
the snowbirds come
with their display.
Dancing prancing
thereunto
in my wintry
morning view.
Snowbirds sing
a song we hear
in the winters
time of year.
Then as flutters
there they go
leaving trails
within the snow.
Winters mornings
come to pass
leaving snowbirds
shadows cast.
Only memories
then are found
when the snowbirds
came around.
Their sweet gift
from God above
is their flutter
filled with love.

OK so there ya go.  I hope you enjoyed the poem and
maybe even a bit of my rambling hehehe.  Benny and
Milo are behind me right now wanting me to play with
them LOL,  so I guess I need to find a stopping place.
I guess it’s good time as any to tell you what I tell you
every week and that is I wrote some more poems and
haiku.  I wrote 10 more poems with one of them being
sort of Christmassy :).  Also once again,  I wrote 22
more haiku for all of my haiku lovers out there.  I hope
you find one or two of either or both that you like hehe.
So I guess it’s about time for me to be searching for
that old off switch that’s not so great with hiding LOL,
but not before I wish you a most wonderful and God
filled week.  Remember,  Jesus loves you and we do
too.  Now to find that ornery off switch hehehehehe.
LOL I wouldn’t of seen ya if you would of not been
so curious to whether or not I was looking for ya :).
Hiding under the salt shaker that never made it
back into the kitchen would of been great,  but each
time you peeked,  it would wobble hehehehehehe.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

With The Wind

The days arrive
with sun to shine
often found
a clouds design.
Many stages
of each day
are recognized
a windy way.
With the wind
of gusty air
the days are found
with when and where.
Storms may come
with suns arrival
with the wind
of days survival.
Bringing pictures
to be seen
with the wind
and in-between.
Stages set
for new to come
with the wind
and each new sun.
Dawning days
of times begin
found so often
with the wind.

The Daily Grind

When a problem
comes to you
a simple prayer
can change the view.
The daily grind
of here and there
can be changed
with moments prayer.
So if your day
has turned out bad
look for good
in all you’ve had.
Seek the joy
through what you see
and then find
what’s best to be.
Don’t be ever
without God
seeking only
your applaud.
When a problem
comes in view
say a prayer
to God from you.
Find the joy
from time to time
hidden in
the daily grind.

Seasons Game

Mornings glory
comes to shine
seasons game
in its design.
Stages painted
such a sight
seasons game
of times daylight.
After night has
left its view
seasons game
is found anew.
In the textured
colors seen
seasons game
might seem a dream.
Found as heartbeats
mornings glory
telling of a
wondrous story.
Seasons game
might seem unfair
but it gives
a breath of air.
Different windows
open wide
letting seasons
come inside.

In My View

As thoughts come in
my mind portrays
things to do
in different ways.
In my view
there’s memories
often found
as deep blue seas.
My own perceptions
song and dance
often find
as times romance.
The things perceived
through now and then
roll as times
remembered when.
Moments movies
there and to
I’ve recorded
in my view.

Lights Of Christmas

I now remember
way back when
lights of Christmas
did begin.
Peoples house
lit up bright
shining Christmas
in the night.
Colorful lights of
red,  green and blue
bringing the nights
a wonderful hue.
The lights of Christmas
I remember
stay with me
on passed December.
Throughout the year
of times begun
the lights of Christmas
shine God’s Son.
Within my mindful
memories
the lights of Christmas
is my breeze.
Blowing sweetly
as a quest
the lights of Christmas
very best.
So as time goes
marching on
Christmas is
my dusk to dawn.
The lights of Christmas
find a way
to live with me
most every day.

Minutes Change

Time will pass
and rearrange
as the seconds
minutes change.
Yesterday’s
of thens farewell
minutes change
with time to tell.
Pages turn
as books we read
when minutes change
to plant a seed.
Thoughts provoking
something strange
time is found when
minutes change.
Left to right
when journeys end
are the changes
that begin.
The directions
that we find
a minutes change
might fill our mind.
With a journey
is a gain
good and bad
as minutes change.

Deceiving Looks

With eyes transfixing
searching to see
deceiving looks
are on you and me.
Many just watching
and waiting a while
to give you deceptively
an ill-gotten smile.
Many are out there
just fishing each day
for just a moment
to lead you astray.
Deceiving people
are what they desire
as they go onwards
with Hell driven fire.
Don’t let the liars
to snag you with hooks
feeding you with their
deceiving looks.

Doors Through Time

With footsteps made
through doors of time
our footprints are
what shadows find.
Door knobs turning
often squeak
when we enter
for a peek.
Doors through time
of our accord
need to follow
our sweet Lord.
Not allowing
what we do
to become
a dismal view.
Doors through time
that open wide
might have only
lies inside.
So look close
before you leap
and you might get
good you seek.
Yet if hurry
fills your mind
you might mistaken
doors through time.

Melted Snowflakes

Soon as winter
fades from view
melted snowflakes
will then too.
Leaving only
puddles wet
helping us
to not forget.
Winter’s window
will be closed
ceasing all that
once was froze.
Then the grasses
flowers too
will become
our daily view.
Melted snowflakes
then become
waters helping
summers sun.
For New England
northern Maine
springtime does not
come with rain.
Still the snowflakes
are of white
until summer
comes in sight.

Seas of Thought

Depth of oceans
words are found
seas of thought
that’s not aground.
Often thinking
becomes lost
as a ship
that’s turned and tossed.
Seas of thought
can surf a wave
through a storm
to better days.
Using currents
of your mind
in the seas
some peace you’ll find.
Yet if you
seek not so good
you’ll become
some drifting wood.
To only come
ashore one day
when the sea
tossed you away.
Seas of thought
needs peace of mind
to find the depth
from time to time.

Haiku
for Feb 28,  2014

A dime a dozen
is just a figure of speech
that ones overuse.

Looking for good dreams
might show you a few bad ones,
before getting good.

With pages turning
a book is then in motion
with ones reading it.

Discovering ones self
needs be done with much patience
to allow your growth.

Many views of space
are found with different eyes
in views of Heaven.

Likenesses we find
are often not so alike,
but choices allowed.

Morning brings sunrise
as it glistens on the snow
causing snowblindness.

Numbers are counted
while many wait patiently
for stupidity.

A ship out at sea
finds some waves as momentum
to carry it through.

Beyond what is seen
are things taken for granted
that are overlooked.

Looking for stardom
could land you in misery
with no privacy.

When life is displayed
it might not look very good
until it’s over.

Some shadows we find
might be that of a spirit
afraid of judgment.

Found in a moment
are times that we remember
maybe not so well.

Love brings emotions
that time might have hid away
due to some problems.

Our cherished ventures
become the fuel for our lives
when our age has won.

Searching for today
through visions of tomorrow
can cause you problems.

Minutes that we count
can make the day to drag on
as the grasses grow.

Preparing for life
needs the willingness to learn
even if not liked.

So many journeys
begin in wrong directions
that turn out alright.

Rhythm of a heart
is a drum of adventure
that plays its own beat.

Leaving your footprints
in the pages of your life
displays your true book.
