Empty Thoughts

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s cooling down more and more as the
days pass us by.  Right now at 1:48 PM
it’s 71 F degrees which is supposed to be
the high for today.  It’s supposed to be in
the 60’s and 70’s all week long.  It looks
like we might be getting a porch added
onto our house.  Our landlord brought a
porch add on over yesterday and said he
is going to put it on our house,  but that
means we will have to use the back door
for a while when or until he is done,  but
our back door steps are far worse than
our front steps and not to mention that
we cannot drive our car around to the
back of the house and it would be hell
for us having to walk where his tractor
has messed up the ground.  Anyways, we
are hoping when and if he gets started
on it,  he won’t take but a few days on
it.  It would be nice.  We could sit out
on the porch and enjoy the day as well
as having a bit more room.  Right now
our single wide mobile home is a tad
crowded with no room to do anything.
We could also park our bikes in it when
the weather gets bad.  So that’s what’s
planned for the near future.  Next topic.
Judy and her sisters and a couple of
her cousins got together for craft night
and did some great stuff.  They always
do,  but they are getting better with
each thing they do.  Judy’s turning out
to be a great little painter.  So are her
sisters and daughters.  Yep,  even her
daughters have joined in.  I might give
painting another go in the next day or
so if Judy has any paper left hehehe 🙂
I’m not quite sure what it would be that
I would paint,  but I’m thinking.  No
harm in trying.  Thankfully we get much
of our paint from the dollar store and
it doesn’t cost that much.  She gets the
paper from Walmart and it only cost a
few bucks.  So,  who knows.  Although
I think a majority of my talent is poetry
and rambling along with maybe a little
bit of photography and drumming LOL.
I’m always looking around to see what
I can find that I think Judy can use for
a craft.  I’ve gone around our house and
picked up a few rocks that look like they
could be painted and made into artwork.
Hey,  it gives me something to do 🙂  God
knows I need more things to do to keep
my mind busy hehehe.  Anyways,  I do
love to help Judy with her crafts with
ideas.  I’m an idea type of guy don’t ya
know it hehehe.  Yep,  I’m a thinker,
but the problem is,  my thinker never
ever shuts down to give me rest.  It’s
always in search mode for thoughts to
find either for poetry or for creations
to help Judy with and many occasions
just filled with empty thoughts that in
some form flavor or fashion might come
to use on one distant day,  or not LOL.
I already have problems sleeping due to
aches and pains hehehe.  Nope,  sleep
does not know my name.  Judy keeps
saying go to sleep and I keep asking
her for a map,  because I cannot seem
to find the place LOL. I keep expecting
her to one day paint a map to a place
that she calls Sleep and give it to me 🙂
It could happen hehehe!  It’s a cloudy
day today and supposed to be mostly
cloudy all week long with a chance
for a few showers on Wednesday and
Thursday.  Yes siree,  summertime has
lost its interest with us up this ways.
Of course it has never been like it is
down Texas ways and thereabouts 🙂
Of course our winters are a bit more
whiter and colder than down Texas
ways and thereabouts also hehehe.
I actually love wintertime with the
snow.  Snow seems to make things
that were once just a lowly rundown
house or barn and turn them into
a painting and trees glistening in the
sunlight become dreams with eyes
wide opened.  I also love Autumn as
the leaves begin painting pictures
with their variety of colors.  It’s sad
that fall only last but a very short
time.  LOL of course I’m guessing
that grounds keepers think just the
opposite hehehe.  I can imagine that
raking leaves can become a bitter
nightmare in some cases hehehe 🙂
Yet,  I still thank God for all of the
beauty He gives me to see with the
clouds of formations and scenes
that come alive in the sunlight and
the stars.  God is the only One that
can take anything and turn it into
artwork.  It’s the viewer that will
discern the pictures as God paints
them everywhere to see.  The scene
might be sad,  but still artwork to
bring alive the mind.  Yes,  God is
the greatest artist.  There is no one
that can paint a hillside or mountain
view as well as God.  Take a look
around you today and see what all
you can find.  Now I believe it’s time
for me to be taking a little tour back
through all that I’ve written here to
see if I can find a good word or phrase
that I can use for the title for today’s
brand new poem.  So it’s away I go
to that little place through my thoughts
and recollections that I always like to
call RECOLLECT VILLE.  I believe
I found a decent title about halfway
back in my rambling.  Now to see if
I can do anything with it.  Here goes.

Empty Thoughts

Shells with voids
of empty words,
time disperses
flocks of birds.
Empty thoughts
that fly by day
then become
a will and way.
Some as pathways
without roads
that ones tarry
with their loads.
Some as patterns
thoughts foretell
that now seem
an empty shell.
Yet no matter
time finds lots,
lessons learned from
empty thoughts.

There ya go.  I hope that make a little
sense to ya.  I can’t help it.  That’s how
my mind works.  As I do most times,  I
wrote the poem is less than 2 minutes 🙂
My old automatic writing just takes on
a life of its own.  I get a thought and it
just seems to explode in writing hehehe.
It drives me crazy at times when I am in
bed trying to sleep and my mind decides
to recite brand new poems to write LOL.
Then if I don’t get up and at least write
down the titles,  I’ll forget them and it
will drive me nuts hehehe.  Not much
rest for the thinker LOL.  Sleeping pills
and pain pills only keep me awake,  so
no chance of help in that mode.  Most
of the time I will just lie there and pray.
Sometimes that will allow me to nod
off for a bit.  No matter,  I’m surviving
and I’m sure I’ll continue until my time
in this old worn out body is done and
it’s time for me to go home to Heaven.
Oh yea,  guess what.  Wednesday the
31,  I’ll be 60.  Yeppers,  the old Santa
looking poet is getting older and older.
Oh yea,  something I forgot to add on
the subject of our porch.  Our landlord
is selling the property and it now has
me in fear of what will happen when he
does.  Will we get another landlord
and will they be good or bad?  I guess
it’s in God’s Hands.  No matter,  it’s
time for me to be telling you what I tell
you every week and that is,  I wrote
some more poems and haiku.  Yeppers,
10 more poems.  No Christmas poems
this week hehehe.  Maybe next week 🙂
I also wrote 22 more haiku for all of
the haiku lovers out there.  Oh yea,  2
of the poems are about Baxter State
Park where Judy and I went earlier
this month and took pictures.  I hope
you like them.  I hope you can find
1 or 2 of the poems and or haiku
that you like.  Now I believe it’s time
for me to begin my search for that
not so elusive off switch :),  but not
before I wish you a most wonderful
weekend or whatever’s left of it and
a week filled with blessings.  Now,
where is that confounded off switch
hiding this time?  Hmm,  I think I see
a bit of movement behind my foot
grinder.  Yeppers,  I can see you 🙂
You might want to try hiding behind
something that is not that skiny next
time like maybe a camera or something.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S  A link to Judy’s new book as at
the end of the journal along with the
others.  Enjoy 🙂

P.S. again.  I put a few of the pictures
that Judy did in the stationery.  She’s
my little artist 🙂  Also there are two
pictures of Judy with her new scarf
and her holding three of her books.
Also the last picture is of our porch
add on.  It’s now sitting in the field
awaiting to be attached 🙂

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

The Lands Of Time

Passing days
to scenes of past
the lands of time
are shadows cast.
Native Indians
then were found
standing on
their Holy ground.
The lands of time
were better then
for the life
of the Indian.
Watching mornings
sun to rise
the lands of time
in true blue skies.
Soil was always
used to grow
things of life
to help them so.
But the pages
stories found
the new days come
to build a town.
Lost in sequence
the lands of time
then became
a five and dime.
Yet those moments
time remembers
still shine bright
as burning embers.
The lands of time
on native soil
shows the trials
of which they toil.
Scenes as echoes
now and then
the lands of time
for the Indian.

Mountains And Lakes

Time is a porthole
that many go through
seeing all the things
from old to anew.
Mountains and lakes
are scenes so divine
that a photographer
daily shall find.
Mountains and lakes
where waters run free,
this is an essence
that God gave to see.
The stage is a scene
that life wanders through
mountains and lakes
of time thereunto.
Often so Heavenly
a moment partakes
lifetimes remembered
mountains and lakes.

Shapes Of Time

Space is dispersed
times around
minutes showing
sight and sound.
Many moments
shapes of time
show us portions
minutes find.
Some might just be
seconds counted
shapes of time
with some surmounted.
As a painting
times might seem
shapes of time
a bright moon beam.
Minutes tick on
shapes of time
with the things
we daily find.

A Scenic Road

Within a mere journey
some mysteries form
on pathways of lifestyles
where new days are born.
A scenic road of time
becomes as a river
flowing with momentum
that it can deliver.
The artistry of blessings
takes form as a mile
painting all the minutes
that times can compile.
Each scene is remembered
as a photo of time
not only by your camera,
but within your mind.
The weight of your visions
might seem as a load
as you drive on for hours
down a scenic road.

Far Beyond

A thought you have
that comes in frame
might just be
a time insane.
The far beyond
what now is found
might be up
or might be down.
So many thoughts
that we surmise,
might just be
our own disguise.
Some as a dream
that comes alive
far beyond
what should survive.
Thinking of things
so far beyond
the dusk of day
and mornings dawn.

Another Path

A walking path
through day to day
brings forth times
another way.
Things are changing
scenes we’ve found,
which the years
have tossed around.
Another path
of which we choose
might hold things
of which amuse.
But the things
might be so wrong
a winding path
with saddened song
Yet the hours
and days that pass
give us choices
another path.

Baxter State Park

Alive with its passion
the mountains and hills
time was a painting
filled full of thrills.
Rivers found flowing
on throughout a while,
Baxter State Park
for many a mile.
The trees were alive
as each one swayed
painting their pictures
so fervently made.
We stopped oh so often
to get out and look
at scenes within scenes
as a magical book.
Around every pathway
a new sight would dawn
bringing alive photos
that we would carry on.
Steams ran  peaceful
as time went its way
our drive went onwards
with more to display.
As pages in a book
filled chock full of smiles
the journey went on
for so many miles.
Each path would open
and display a view
as the trees gave way
for times to accrue.
Baxter State Park
has so much to see
that a day’s not enough
to set our sights free.
So we will return
for another remark,
taking more photos at
Baxter State Park.

Me In The Mirror

Looking at wrinkles
the ages have brought,
me in the mirror
my hurry has sought.
Lifetimes of struggles
find me very clear,
me in the mirror
of my yesteryear.
My smile is weathered,
but still holds so true,
me in the mirror
that I daily view.
We’ve all got reflections
that mirrors expose,
time in a bottle
our highs and our lows.
Me in the mirror
are moments discerned,
pathways I’ve chosen,
lessons I’ve learned.

Blessings Uncountable

Each day I am filled with
God’s every minute
things I have been through
with Him always in it.
No matter my struggles
of then thereunto
my blessings uncountable
always shine through.
Lifetimes of problems
have made me much stronger
as blessings uncountable
lasted much longer.
Lord God has always been
with me throughout time
as He’s often helped me
to see clear the sign.
My views of my passed days
hold me accountable
learning my lessons from
blessings uncountable.

Shattered Skies

Blue skies of morning
bring forth a day
sometimes as shattered
moments of gray.
Skies with such billows
of cloudy formations
that seem to create
their own constellations.
Then a mere storm cloud
comes and designs
darkness within it
to tell of the times.
Shattered skies forming
lightning and thunder
sights and the sounds
that seem to asunder.
Shattered with beauty
as each moment’s found,
the sky is enlightened
with its sight and sound.
Displayed as heartbeats
found to arise,
this is what I call then
so shattered skies.

Haiku
for Aug 27,  2016

The windows and doors
that we each walk and look through
can decide our path.

Our lessons disposed
will repeat the performance
of things you should learn.

Clouds of a moment
will often create patterns
that you recognize.

A life hindered rose
may not blossom its beauty,
but be remembered.

Driving too quickly
can hurry your own demise
and take ones with you.

The age of humans
is a guess that’s misconceived
due to lack of proof.

Various doorways
will display a reflection
of you and your path.

Now is just a time
that will soon become our past
as our future grows.

Heaven is a place
with life without any pain
and love magnified.

Trails of a hiker
often find themselves covered
as time is exposed.

Showers of raindrops
become as a refreshment
to life at its source.

Kneeling down praying
gives you strength abundantly
as God hears your prayers.

Trading our places
might leave us in a muddle
for what we traded.

Misfortune is life
as it disperses our lessons
from many struggles.

Without a morning
an evening cannot exist,
for it needs its time.

Shadows in moonlight
bring forth many mysteries
that become ones fear.

Nobodies perfect,
for we all have a few flaws,
some more than others.

Hardheaded people
will often stand firm their choice
even if it’s wrong.

Butterflies of life
will flutter in the daylight
to sleep in the night.

Lightning bugs will shine
as a twinkle in the night
while they go their way.

Hardships of time
become the teachers of life
with lessons that last.

The rains of summer
bring heartbeats of life alive
as they quench a thirst.

A Little While

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

So,  how have ya been?  Judy and I have
been doing fairly well.  It’s rained off and
on throughout the past week,  but we were
able to take a bike ride in the field after it
dried up a bit.  Monday,  Judy went to her
daughter’s house for her to cut her hair.
Mandy did a real nice job on Judy’s hair.
While she was there,  I went outside and
did a few selfies of me with our lighthouse
and then I did a little conga video.  A little
later I took the boys out in the field for a
little run or in my case walk LOL.  They
always have fun running and playing in
the field.  They will always run a bit and
then look back to see if I am behind them
and they’ll wait for me to catch up.  So,
OK,  Benny doesn’t always,  but Rocky
does LOL.  When Judy got home,  we
all went to Walmart to do a lil shopping.
It was fairly cool,  in the 60’s.  The boys
always love to go for a car ride.  Next
topic.  Judy has found that she’s pretty
good at painting.  She has been busy
making pictures.  She had one sheet of
painters paper left to be painted on and
so I gave it a shot.  LOL I suck.  It’s
not my cup of tea.  I can do ceramics,
but that’s it.  I guess my gifts are poetry,
music/drums,  and photography LOL.
Judy went yesterday evening (Saturday)
for another craft night and they all did
paintings.  Each one of them including
Judy have been practicing for a week
or so to get ready for that night hehehe.
They all did really well.  Judy’s hung
hers up in here beside her computer.
I told her to do what she wants with my
piece of painted garbage LOL.  I have
seen pictures 4 year olds have painted
that looked better than mine.  My dad,
was a real good artist.  We have one of
his paintings hanging in our living room.
We’ve got many of my ceramics placed
throughout the house.  But yet again,
painting does not seem to be my forte.
I told Judy when she gets more paper,
I might give it a few more goes,  but
if after four or five they don’t get any
better,  I’m giving it up LOL.  No sense
wasting paper and paint,  oh and yes
my time 🙂  Two of Judy’s cousins came
up for a few days and they were also
there for paint night and yes they too
made my UGH painting look like a
child’s finger painting hehehe.  Judy
has gone over to her sister Trudy’s
house now to visit.  Her cousins are
going to be there.  It’s not too warm
today.  Our high for today is 78 F
degrees,  but tomorrow,  the high is
supposed to be 69 F 🙂  We have yet to
of seen but maybe one day nearing the
90 F degree mark all summer long 🙂
Tomorrow it’s supposed to rain with
a 100% chance.  It looks like a wall
of rain clouds are headed our way
and according to my weather satellite
and radar, the rains will commence at
around 5 AM Monday morning.  So
it looks like we won’t be riding in the
field for a couple of days until it dries
out a bit.  No more rain in the forecast
except for Friday which we might get
a few showers.  That all can change,
as I’m sure you know LOL.  Another
word for forecast is predicting LOL.
One thing among many things that
I love about being up here is I don’t
miss those Texas summers and the
fact that I love snow.  LOL although
most of the Mainers think I’m nuts
to love snow.  OK not all of them,  but
many of them.  There are a few that
love the snow also.  Of course it’s the
after affects of the snow that I don’t
like,  and that is the slush and the ice
that follows.  I have lost count of how
many times I have slipped and fallen
on our steps.  You can’t always see
the ice.  I have some cleats that I put
on the soles of my tennis shoes,  but
I don’t always know when I need
them LOL.  Benny and Rocky love
the snow and I bet they’ll do as they
always do,  go running and rolling
around in it on the first day of snow.
Until then,  they are enjoying each
other as they frolic in the field as
Judy and I watch and take pictures
and videos.  It’s gorgeous outside
right now,  but the boys don’t want
to go outside.  They’re both lying in
the living room waiting for Judy to
get home.  I might take them out
in the field in a little while after I’ve
finished with this,  but no promises.
My feet are hurting bad and my leg
is sort of banged up after the arm
of my computer chair breaking and
me toppling to the floor as the back
of the chair gave way.  I landed on
my left leg.  I have since repaired
the chair,  but I’ll take little bit
more healing time HaHaHa.  I had
a few extra chair arms in the spare
room and so,  I just took off the
broken with pieces and put on the
new one.  I’m back in business 🙂
The other night I leaned back in my
chair and I heard a loud pop,  but
I didn’t know what it was.  I soon
found out what it was LOL.  Judy
should be home before too awful late.
OK,  so when her and her sisters get
together,  there’s no telling what time
she’ll come home.  No matter,  me
and the boys will be OK.  We always.
are 🙂  It never got up to 78 F today.
76 F was as high as it got and now
it’s 73 F.  It’s cooling down LOL.
The boys just ran in here and ran
back out. They’re playing chase or
tag in many cases.  They do that
often.  God has most surely filled
our home with His Love.  We do
often run into problems,  but with
His strength and many blessings
we are able to endure and find
answers.  The answers might not
be what we would like,  but they
seem to always be the best for us.
Anyways,  I reckon it’s time for
me to be taking my little journey
back through all that I’ve written
here to see if I can find a good
word or phrase that I can use for
the title for today’s brand new
poem.  So it’s away I go to that
lil place of my recollection that I
always like to call RECOLLECT
VILLE.  I believe I found a nice
title about a 3rd of the way back
in my rambling.  So now to see
if I can do anything with it LOL.
Here goes…….

A Little While

A view of you
which many see
might become
the bitter key.
A little while
that passes by
might discern
the reason why.
The key, the note
of which they hear
might be found
in yesteryear.
A little while
that time portrays
might be views
mistaken ways.
So as minutes
gather on
the thoughts you had
might all be wrong.

©By Bill Pearce
Aug 21,  2016

There ya go.  I hope you understood the
poem and my rambling didn’t bore you
too much 🙂  I’m sure you’re wondering
how it is I can write so much poetry 🙂
Well,  most of it is either about my past,
my present or my future and some of it
is my imagination and dreams.  It seems
I never run dry of thoughts.  It’s God’s
gift to me,  which at times can become
a curse,  being my brain never seems to
want to shut down and let me to rest 🙂
I’m always thinking as poetry thrives
inside of me as what at times seems as
just a weed.  But yet the weed is not of
the plain sort,  but a Dandelion or a
Sunflower that blossoms with many
seeds to spread and prosper its own
existence as poetry of life.  LOL Oops,
sorry.  I drifted off a bit there.  Benny
and Rocky just came in here begging
me for treats,  so I gave them some
Bark’n Bacon hehehe.  That pacified
them for a bit,  I HOPE.  LOL wrong,
Rocky just ran in here and gave me that
look,  like,  he’s gotta go POTTY,  and
so both of the boys are ouside LOL.  I am
so glad he has learned to tell me when
he needs to go potty.  Benny will most
times just hold it until Rocky’s gotta
go,  but there’s been a few times that
Benny has been the one raising cane
saying,  gotta go.  They’re good boys.
I am so proud of them.  When ever
we have to leave them at home in
their crates all we have to do now is
say,  sorry,  get in your crates and
both of them walk over and get in
their crates and sit down and wait
for either Judy or I to shut their
doors.  LOL Rocky has in a way
figured out how to shut his own
door,  but hasn’t figured out how to
latch it.  That could be a good thing
ya know LOL.  We love them just
like our children and would not
want them to be in a hot car.  We
have fans in the living room and
one fan aimed right inside their
doggy cages so they stay cool 🙂
So I reckon I need put the brakes
on my rambling and tell you what
I tell you almost every week and
that is I wrote some more poems
and haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more
poems and one of them is sort of
Christmassy.  I also wrote 22 more
haiku for all of the haiku lovers
out there.  Although I accidentally
wrote 1 extra haiku so that makes
it 23 haiku.  I hope you can find 1
or 2 of either or both that you like.
Now I believe it’s time for me to
begin my search for that hardly
elusive off switch,  but not before
I wish you all a most wonderful
weekend and a truly blessed week.
Remember,  Jesus loves you and
we do too.  Now,  where is that
ornery off switch trying to hide
this week?  Oh my word hehehe,
Now that is hilarious.  It’s taking
a ride on the curtains hanging on
like a cowboy as the wind blows
them all around.  LOL you’re silly.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S  A link to Judy’s new book as at
the end of the journal along with the
others.  Enjoy 🙂

P.S. again.  I put a few of the pictures
that Judy did in the stationery and I of
course put the piece of garbage I painted
in it also LOL.  Mine is the one with the
green field with trees and Dandilions
with the sky and clouds :),  or so it is
supposed to be 🙂 HaHaHa  I figured I’d
give all you that can see the stationery
a laugh at my efforts at painting hehehe.

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22+1 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

A Field Of Green

Scenes with colors
green and blue
fill the distant
things I view.
A field of green
with yellow hint
paints the scenes
so Heaven sent.
A sky of blue
is also seen
above the field
a flavored dream.
Clouds of white
float overhead
in skies like water
a riverbed.
Time moves forward
with great designs
a field of green

The Age Of Man

As the passing
of a day
the age of man
is on display.
Things we thought
we new so true,
the age of man
gave different view.
As some pages
turning fast
now becomes
our distant past.
The age of man
becomes a sight,
some thought wrong
some thought right.
Time relinquishes
what that’s true,
what that’s me
and what that’s you.
Life is ticking
minutes found
as our lives
go round and round.
What we’re seeing
is God’s plan
to fulfill
the age of man.
Lessons learned
from times mistakes,
the age of man
finds life’s Earthquakes.
Some as rumbles
timeless scenes,
the age of man
nightmares and dreams.
So the echoes
time portrays
might just help
some better days.
Remembered pages
books of time,
the age of man
might fall in line.

A Winter’s Thought

Summer brings moments
a bright burning ember
time with some snowflakes
found in December.
With a winter’s thought
that’s counted and named
Christmastime comes
so fervently framed.
Ages of heartbeats
find ways to thrive
in a winter’s thought
with dreams to arrive.
The flavors of moments
so tasty delight
become as the echoes
that soon come in sight.
A winter’s thought
brings forth many things,
blessings uncountable
as angels sing.

A Distant Place

Those times I remember,
those times I recall
are now just an echo
of pictures on the wall.
Those minutes and hours
are counted in space
of a voyage I remember
to a distant place.
Miles were as pages
to a book across land
within a distant place
of an ocean and sand.
Footprints of so many
in this place faraway
are now just an echo
of that so distant day.
Voices were as Heaven
with a soulful enlace,
a time I remember
of a distant place.

With A Smile

Just a fraction
of a while
can be brightened
with a smile.
Even when you
are so sad,
someone’s smile
can make you glad.
Don’t let time
to wear you down
and plant a seed
for lifetimes frown.
Look beyond all
that you see
and with a smile
change history.
Seek the blessings
moments while,
make it better
with a smile.

Moving Along

Roads we’ve traveled
dusk to dawn,
then it’s there
and now it’s gone.
Mornings flavors
come to be,
here and there
each day to see.
Moving along
time goes by,
as ones wonder
where and why.
Within a window
clear and blue,
you might see
a distant view.
Times so happy
traveled on,
like a train track
oh so long.
Tracks are displayed
far and wide,
trails of many
coincide.
Moving along
a distant breeze,
rustles madly
in the trees.
Hearts can find
a wondrous song
memories
just moving along.

No Tears

A sea of sadness
can be dried
with some love
that’s prayer applied.
Troubles stitches
might come loose
with ones sought
a hangman’s noose.
Yet with passion
you and I
there’s no tears
that cannot dry.
Not just giving
empty wells
for the sadness
time compels,
But with truthful
love and prayer,
no saddened tears
will fill the air.
Yes of course
a smile or two
might have tears
within their view,
but those tears
will magnify
life and love
as time goes by.
Again some sadness
might appear
to a person
loved so dear.
Ones you know not
what to do,
for even then
you cannot view.
In those times
Lord God will send
the rightful one
to enter in.
You might see
a horrid place
with ones found
a frowning face
Yet those times
of distant years
might one day
be found no tears.

Ripples And The Waves

Some vessels way out in the sea
will bounce with waves of time,
ripples seen as waves recoil
to paint the oceans rhyme.
Vintage sails will catch the wind
to carry on the view
as the waves will rock the skip
within the ocean blue.
Ripples seen as waves go by
and leave a little trail,
such as time within a play
that sailors do entail.
Ripples and waves join together
creating scenes of wonder
as the captains of the ships
sail far out over yonder.
For beyond the times horizon
the ships sail on for days
while the captains guide the course
through ripples and the waves.

Night So Starry

While looking up
at darkened skies,
the night so starry
gives replies.
Words as twinkles,
moonlight too,
the darkened skies
are there to view.
Scenes so special
in the night,
starry pictures
come in sight.
Time then beckons
many thoughts
the night so starry
far across.
Then an echo
of a sound
the night so starry
does astound.
Yet the darkness
gives a gaze,
starry scenes
of many ways.
Fearful moments
come to mind,
night so starry
time to time.
Yet that fear
might soon be gone
starry skies
of dusk to dawn.
Apologizing
for its frame
that with fear
you did attain.
In a way
it says it’s sorry
with its twinkles
night so starry.

Within The Words

Actions with actions
connecting scenes
time in a bubble
might flow like streams.
Within the words
of actions made
a time might be
just lemonade.
Struggles countered
at a glance
might just be ones
song and dance.
For the minutes
rushing by
within the words
are how they fly.
So the doorways
you perceive
might be time
to look and leave.
Within the words
of actions found
you might need be
homeward bound.
Walking passed
a flock of birds
hearing truth
within the words.

Haiku
for Aug 20,  2016

A star flying by
might be one to wish upon,
or a UFO.

Times that we’ve delayed
might show opportunities
that also flew by.

Night displays journeys
of the stars up above us
and patterns they chose.

Such as a flower
our lives are waiting to bloom
and show our colors.

Beyond the seasons
holds a place filled with changes
that our eyes perceive.

Without a heartbeat
our lives cannot continue
so take heed your heart.

Tomorrows lifestyle
might not be today’s format,
so don’t judge too quick.

Lessons of changes
might come with some depression,
but time moves along.

Bringing in nighttime
awakens the many stars
joined by the moonlight.

A gentle river
can become a massive flood
with too much water.

Scenarios shine
as a flashlight on your life
and some are burned out.

A flashing second
could be a time for a change
or a warning sign.

The wings of a bird
ride the winds like an ocean
to seas near and far.

A path in the woods
could be a good thing or bad,
so hiker beware.

Lightning in the sky
tells a story of thunder
and how it’s displayed.

Worry brings illness
and illness will bring worry,
so find peace in prayer.

A shattered heartbeat
will allow hatred within,
so take care of it.

Scenes of a doorway
will open and close with time,
so ready your mind.

Beyond the cosmos
holds a mystery of life
that we do not know.

Guessing about life
is a lost competition
that only God knows.

New discoveries
are found within our planet
that prove we don’t know.

A tomorrows voyage
needs some planning in today
to make it better.

Spur of the moment
can be a good decision
or a real bad one.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

This last week or more has been fairly nice.
Especially Monday 🙂  Judy and I took that
trip I spoke of week before last.  You know!
The trip down to Baxter St. Park.  It’s about
60 miles south of us near Medway.  It goes
through Millinocket and Patton Maine. We
made a day of it.  The boys spent the day at
Katahdin Kritters.  I’m sure they made many
new friends.  We took tons of pictures LOL.
As if you thought we could go there and just
look at the view HaHaHa.  It was a beautiful
day.  Just enough clouds in the sky to be as
decor.  It was so beautiful there and the park
ranger told us that we should come back in
the fall,  because the colors are spectacular.
So,  I guess you know where we’re heading
as soon as the colors start changing in a few
months hehehe.  Judy did her picture window
last week and it came out rather nice.  She
used one of our old photos from our favorite
place Port Aransas TX for the picture.  She
also got some curtains for it and now all I
have to do is figure out where to hang it 🙂
I know how I’m gonna hang it and we have
sort of picked out a place to hang it.  It’s
just that it will be a struggle to hold it and
get it even while I’m screwing it to the wall.
I’ll git-r-done.  Oh and for those of you not
versed in Larry The Cable Guy’s phrases,
it means I’ll get it done LOL.  So what else
has gone on around the Pearce’s Place?
Well,  Judy has begun to try her hand at
painting.  She bought her a table top easel
and some paints.  She’s been practicing on
our table in the living room.  I think she’s
doing very good,  myself.  Practice might
not make perfect,  but it will become much
better.  My poetry isn’t perfect,  but as the
years pass,  I do get better hehehe or so I
seem to think 🙂  Back to our pictures that
we took last Monday.  There was so much
to take pictures of,  that Judy and I were
just spinning in circles with our cameras,
giving them a complete work out hehehe.
Then after me weeding out blurry pictures
Judy had 113 left and I had 234 left which
is the equivalence of 347,  but there were
still a few duplicates being we were often
taking pictures of the same thing LOL 🙂
So I picked out 78 photos out of the 347
and uploaded them to my Facebook.  I’ll
use a few out of that 78 for my stationery.
LOL  it will be hard though.  There are
so many gorgeous pictures.  She took a
few of me and I took a few of her in the
scenery.  It’s been raining off and on a
bit today.  We had to time it just right to
put the boys out to go potty hehehe.  They
don’t like rain.  Snow,  they love.  Rain,
they hate.  I understand one of the reasons
they hate the rain.  It’s because they’ve
got a lot better hearing than us and the
rain is loud as hits their heads.  But one
of our boys main reasons for hating the
rain is not liking to get wet.  They don’t
mind it if I’m giving them a bath.  They
love the shower and it is, I’m sure, maybe
almost as loud as the rain.  Anyways,
next topic.  Judy has found she has some
more health issues that her doctor has
prescribed more medication for.  We’re
hoping that in a month or so,  she will
be feeling better.  She’s been having a
stomach ache and a sore throat.  I am
sure the medicine will heal her.  We’re
hoping that the rain slacks off soon so
that the ground will dry up enough for us
to go bike riding in the field.  Right now
our bikes are getting washed with the
daily rains.  I had been covering them,
but I don’t think a little rain is going to
hurt them LOL.  I have plenty of 3 in
1 oil and a can of motor oil to lube them
up if needed 🙂  Today’s temperature is
fairly nice.  Right now at 3:30 PM it’s
61F degrees and the high for today is
supposed to be 64 F.  The rest of the
week is supposed to be in the lower to
upper 70’s.  Still,  not too bad.  Judy’s
going to her daughter’s house tomorrow
to get her hair done.  Mandy is gonna
cut it for her and then Helena’s son
Christian is coming back with Judy to
spend some time with us.  I think one
of his reasons for liking to come over
here is for our internet LOL.  They
don’t have internet other than on their
phones.  Judy and I have DSL hehehe.
We do have a blast watching gaming
videos on my computer though.  Some
of them are hilarious.  There has not
been much of anything else going on
around this place.  The boys are doing
well.  They’re like four legged alarm
clocks LOL.  Every day around noon,
no matter if we didn’t get to bed until
around 4 or 5 AM,  they will jump up
on Judy’s side of the bed and begin their
wake up call hehehe.  You notice I said
Judy’s side of the bed LOL.  That is
the side of the bed that their beds are
on 🙂 plus the few times that they tried to
sleep on my side of the bed,  they often
got stepped on because I didn’t see them
LOL.  I have no colon and no I do not
have a colostomy bag.  That was an
unsuccessful operation attempt and it
made my surgeon have to try another
surgery that he was the only one that had
ever performed,  which was a reversal.
It entailed connecting the small intestines
that I had left to my rectum.  I have but
only 2 3rds of my small intestines left
and no colon.  So,  you see,  I spend a lot
of time running back and forth to the
bathroom with 24 7 diarrhea LOL UGH.
So now you have been informed hehehe.
Welcome to my world LOL.  It’s OK,
I’ve been dealing with this since 1995,
so it’s nothing new.  It just hinders the
things that I am able to eat such as
veggies.  There are many vegetables
such as lettuce that I cannot eat.  It
does not digest well and what goes
in a leaf a lettuce,  comes out as a leaf
of lettuce LOL.  The same with spicy
sauces and foods which I always try
to steer away from,  if ya know what
I mean hehehe.  So,  that’s about all
about my digestive system.  Like you
actually wanted to know HaHaHaHa.
God has given me the ability to handle
a lot of pain and therefore many of
the things I endure are things that you
or others might not be able to withstand.
Each of us with our portion of struggles
may feel that the measure is way too
great,  but God will not put upon you
more than you can handle.  Now we
ourselves will often put upon our own
selves more than we can handle,  but
that is not God’s doing.  Yet,  God is
always there to give us the strength
to endure our own stupidity in hopes
of us seeing the flaws and changing
our ways.  OK,  so enough with the
rambling. Now it’s time for me to take
my little trip back through all that I’ve
written here to see if I can find a good
word or phrase that I can use for the
title for today’s brand new poem.  So,
it’s away I go to that little place of my
recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  I believe that
I may have stumbled on a decent title
just a few lines back.  Now to see if
I can do anything with it.  Here goes 🙂

The Measure

Our time in a window
might be distorted
the echoes that we find
our lives have reported.
The measure of a scene
from daylight to dark
might show us a portion
with a woeful remark.
The times of our minds
that we look on to see
show the measures of now
and our history.
Yet often our involvement
will elude what we find
as the measure displays
the correct point and time.
Our time is a fraction
of actions in frame
the measure’s then counted
as times we attain.
God gives us choices
and voices to choose
the measure of our lives
to win or to lose.

There ya go.  I hope the poem makes a
little bit of sense to ya.  Also I hope you
enjoyed my rambling of course I reckon
you could of done without my explanations
of my health LOL.  OH well,  life goes on.
The house is still quiet as Rocky is lying
in the floor right beside me in a doggie
bed. Benny is in the living room lying on
his favorite recliner.  I don’t think they
got much sleep last night due to me and
my many visits to the bathroom.  I took
a couple of aspirins last night in hopes
of them easing the pain in my shoulders
and legs,  but all they did was kick my
d******a into overdrive.  If you can’t
figure out the word,  then GOOD LOL.
News on my sister.  She’s had the last of
her radiation treatments.  Keep her in
your prayers.  My mom said that she
seemed to be doing well.  A bit weak,
but doing well.  Rocky just got up out
of his bed to tell us he’s gotta go potty,
so Judy has gone to let him and Benny
out.  It’s still raining a little bit,  but it
doesn’t mean they cannot go out to go
potty LOL.  They won’t melt.  We’ve
tried that indoor potty pad,  and all it
was good for was a chew toy for Benny.
He kept ripping up the pads so we just
gave the thing away.  I’m fairly sure
that Rocky would of done the same
being he loves to pull the tissues out
of the tissue boxes and tear them up
along with getting up on our bed and
tossing our pillows off into the floor.
LOL he be just a bit feisty hehehehe,
but we love him.  Benny loves his little
brother too.  Of course Rocky is not
really smaller than Benny LOL.  Just
younger.  Rocky is a little bit bigger
than Benny.  So now I guess it’s time
for me to tell you what I tell you every
week or at least almost every week 🙂
and that is,  I wrote some more poems
and haiku.  Yeppers,  I wrote 10 more
poems with 1 being a Christmas poem.
I wrote 2 extra poems.  1 is a birthday
poem to my granddaughter Sami and
the last one is dedicated to one of my
Facebook groups.  I also once again
wrote 22 more haiku for all the haiku
lovers out there.  I hope you can find
1 or 2 of either or both that you like.
Now to begin my search for that not
so elusive off switch,  but not before
I wish you a most wonderful weekend
or whatever’s left of it and a truly
awesome week.  Remember,  Jesus
loves you and we do too.  Ok,  where
are ya hiding you little off switch?
Come on,  you’ve gotta be kidding me.
Hiding behind the red utility knife. It’s
hardly large enough for you to hide
your screws LOL.   Try harder will ya.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S  A link to Judy’s new book as at
the end of the journal along with the
others.  Enjoy 🙂

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10+2 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

That Birthday Girl

Today’s the day
so great and fine
that birthday girl
granddaughter of mine.
She’s grown older
and wiser too
that birthday girl
we love so true.
The days have passed
and found her stars
a heart that twinkles
in all of ours.
She has her struggles,
but smiles anyway
bringing us joy
and brightens our day.
That birthday girl
our Sami so sweet
is now 16
granddaughter elite.

A Bitter Pill

Scenes awaken
less a thrill
when remembered
a bitter pill.
Time then journeys
sought to find
a bitter pill
and reason why.
Seconds counted
that portray
a bitter pill
of yesterday.
Times remembered
can find true
a bitter pill
that teaches you.
Better choices
can fulfill
the lesser of
a bitter pill.

Deep As An Ocean

Heartbeats within ones
might be fathoms while
that ones think as empty,
but don’t know their style.
Deep as an ocean
a heartbeat might sway
within a mere time frame
we know not the way.
So deep they might be
as their heartbeats are found
that you think they’re only
a rock barren ground.
So many people
will hold deep within
their love for another
for fear they can’t win.
Time then is endless
with heartbeats in motion
found as a time frame
deep as an ocean.

A Rainy Day In Maine

Raindrops are falling
and singing a tune
a pitter patter sound
from morning to noon.
Then as the evening
is coming in sight
a rainy day in Maine
continues through night.
Sweet smells of raindrops
encompass our home
with rain showers falling
as Heaven’s cologne.
A rainy day in Maine
gives forth a great scene
making the tree leaves
so fervently green.
Even the flowers
take in every drop
as the rain keeps falling
to land right on top.
The summertime showers
I do not complain
for it makes me happy
a rainy day in Maine.

Sacrificed Time

Watching and waiting
for now and agin
can become lessons
to lose or to win.
Sacrificed moments
to gather your gain
might become troubles
to drive you insane.
Now will soon pass by
and become as the past
leaving the shadows
of thoughts that will last.
Sacrificing moments
for what that you want
might become horror
to come back to haunt.
Sometimes it’s better
for wantings decline
and seek for the blessings
not sacrificed time.

Limits Of Life

Now’s the beginning
and ending design
found after patterns
of moments of time.
So many limits are
just of our ways
often the choices
we’ve chosen on days.
Limits of life
might just be scenes
within our journeys
and many routines.
Today brings a time
to lessen the chains
the limits of life
preventing our gains.
Now is a portion
of life buttered knife
choosing much better
the limits of life.

A Stormy Mind

The thoughts we think
as ways to choose
a stormy mind
might light a fuse.
A page less book
that has no words
a stormy mind
might fill with birds.
Raindrops falling
thinking so true
a stormy mind
can be skies of blue.
It’s just the moment
time frames expose
a storm mind
might end as a rose.
The essence planted
within the brain
a stormy mind
might show some rain.
With every second
counted and seen
a stormy mind
can become a dream.
Losing the horror
of each design
life can show rainbows
in a stormy mind.

Within These Walls

Heartbeats of moments
within these walls
echo as a journey
down the halls.
Scenes as a memoir
become such a place
within these walls
a smiling face.
Time turns to shadows
scenes found displayed
words of a heartbeat
time frames have made.
Life becomes pages
found in a book,
stories of moments
we may have mistook.
Scenic are memories
our mindset recalls
as the truth lives on
within these walls.

The Bells Of Christmas

Right now inside my mind
I seek for that place
some white snow falling
down on my face.
The glimmer of Christmas
that’s found in the nights
lit up on some houses
those great Christmas lights.
The bells of Christmas
are also heard clear
in the songs of joy
for that time of year.
Songs on the radio
playing so fine
those tunes that I love
about Christmastime.
Each minute as magic
filled full of joy
with the love for Christmas
in each girl and boy.
The Christmas tree standing
with lights all aglow
and even with a touch of
some spray on snow.
Ornaments shining
in wonderful ways
and a manger scene
with wondrous amaze.
Jesus as a baby
in a small bed of straw,
the bells of Christmas
fill me with awe.
Yet now as I look
I see summertime,
but Christmas lives on
inside of my mind.
So many memories
from young unto old
bring forth every moment
much greater than gold.
The bells of Christmas
should live in us all
forever and ever
from winter to fall.

Ageless Time

A forest of minutes
might seem unchanged
as others see it
a bit rearranged.
Thoughts remembered
seem with a style
an ageless time
a wonderful while.
Those childhood days
that you remember
are now but only
a burning ember.
That ageless time
from then unto there
lives on and on
that none compare.
Those wonderful times
of long ago
are ageless time
as fallen snow.
Some wondrous events
that you recall
a time,  a design,
a bouncing ball.
There’s nothing wrong
with memories
of greatest days
and deepest seas.
The minutes live on
within our mind
as but a moment of
ageless time.

A Morning Comes

Night displays
a starry sky
that so many
wonder why.
A minute passes
time’s consumed
morning’s found
to be attuned.
A morning comes
to show its way
after night has
gone away.
Time ticks on
as moments scheme
a morning comes
to end a dream.
Sleep is ended
sunshine bright
a morning comes
to give a sight.
Life starts sounding
birdies chirping
what the morning
is inferring.
Time to wake up
and move on
a morning comes
the break of dawn.

A Soul Searcher

Seeking for others
searching through time
I’m a soul searcher
caught in a rhyme.
Now is a rhythm
beating so true
as I,  a soul searcher
seek ones like you.
Time is a doorway,
to so many ways
that a soul searcher
might find some grays.
Yet with much patience
a soul searcher finds
ones of alikeness
same sort of minds.
Then as time billows
our hearts might connect
to a soul searcher
of a loving affect.

Haiku
for Aug 13,  2016

Today is a day
that give chances for better,
but it’s up to us.

Meandering lives
find ghostly moss upon them
showing confusion.

Patient ones of time
might find much better conclusions,
or might find worse fate.

Looks of a dreamer
shine as a world of hopeful,
but need to get real.

Challenge of flowers
are blooms of a mystery
that only they know.

A quick turn in life
could cause you much confusion,
where a slow turn helps.

With mornings raindrops
comes the hope for many flowers
to show their colors.

Beyond our insight
lives the things we do not know,
for God only knows.

In a field of dreams
holds a mysterious sight
that eyes hope to see.

Life is a journey
that many create problems
out of the good things.

The Earth is our home
while many choose to end it
with their stupidity.

Space and time ventures
should be as necessity,
not just to explore.

Near and beyond us
are places we’ll never go,
but we can dream of.

Within an ocean
holds many voices of time
as vessels sail on.

One minute of night
can be a fathomless sea
to someone in fear.

Daylight shines brightly
while nighttime is soon to come
and disperse starlight.

Books without knowledge
might seem to be without need,
but they rest the mind.

Someone’s beating heart
can become a drummers drum
filled with their desire.

The shower of starlight
explodes upon a dreamer
as sleep finds its way.

Chance is a time
that comes within its moment,
which many won’t see.

Without our right nows
our minutes of thereunto
cannot be displayed.

Loss can be a gain
if the loss is of sadness,
so look for the joy.

A Photo Voyage

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s another week gone by and the beginning
of yet another.  Last week was pretty much the
same old same old.  We took the boys out in
the field for a run and we made a few trips into
town.  Judy and her sisters and daughters did
crafts on Friday and Judy made a real pretty
picture window.  It’s still sort of in the works
though.  Our grandson Christian came and spent
Thursday and Thursday night with us and we
had a great time watching videos.  The boys
are doing well.  Benny is in the living room on
his favorite recliner as always LOL.  Rocky
is in the floor right next to me lying in a doggy
bed.  Temperature wise,  this passed week as
well as today has been very nice.  A little on
the muggy/humid side,  but not too warm.  Of
course I cannot handle much heat over 80 F
degrees,  but thankfully we have our portable
air conditioner.  Life at the Pearce’s Place
is still kicking up the dust hehehe.  We have
plans for this week,  just not sure when we
will do them.  Thinking about heading down
south of us to Baxter State Park and making
a day of picture taking.  We will be taking
the boys to Katahdin Critters and leave them
because dogs are not allowed in the park.
But again,  we have not quite made up our
minds when to go.  I’m sure we’ll take a ton
of pictures when we go though.  I can’t wait.
The weather has been staying in the lower
80’s and mid to upper 70’s for the passed
week and as I look at my weather program
I see that’s also the forecast for this week.
Yep,  not too bad.  I guess global change
is not affecting us too bad.  I think when
we’ll notice it most is wintertime,  but time
will tell.  It looks like we might get a little
rain today.  It rained a bit yesterday and
off and on throughout the week.  A strong
but short lived storm came through here
yesterday,  but the biggest part missed us
thank God.  I don’t think this place could
handle 60 mile an hour winds.  50 mile an
hour yes,  60,  I do not know.  I’m sure
that God is watching over us and when
our time is up,  our time is up.  Yet for
now I think He still has plans for us and
the Pearce’s Place shall continue on its
journey through rambles ville and photos.
LOL I know,  many of you have never
seen the pictures that we take,  because
you’re on the text version of my journal.
Sorry,  the only way I know to resolve
that is for you to join Facebook or to
start receiving your email with a true
email client such as Outlook Express or
Windows live and not webmail hehehe.
There are other email clients out there
that will work as well.  Anyways,  yes we
love to take pictures of the scenery and
of course of these silly little boys of ours.
So back to the journal.  Judy and I took
another bike ride out in the field Monday
of last week and yes the boys ran right
along with us.  I’m getting better at using
my selfie stick LOL.  Not great,  but I am
getting better.  I took a few pictures of us
out in the field,  but I think they would of
turned out better if I had just brought and
used my tripod LOL.  Oh well,  I did get
a few good selfies with me wearing the
shirt that my loving daughter gave me last
Fathers day.  A Journey t shirt.  The county
has been working on the roads down our
ways for the passed week.  They’re trying
to get the road ready for wintertime.  Ice
and snow tend to mess them up pretty bad.
Those darned ice heaves can cause you
to lose your eyeteeth hehehe,  if of course
you still have them.  I haven’t any teeth to
worry about LOL.  Of course now that we
have our Nissan Rogue,  the bumps aren’t
quite as bad as they were when we were
in our lil red Mazda Protege with 13 inch
wheels hehehe.  Boy you could feel every
bump in that little car.  I still miss my little
red bomb.  I had that Mazda for almost 20
years and it served me well.  I know it’s
silly to get attached to a car,  but I had it
longer than I have had anything.  Judy
even misses that little car,  but we’re glad
to have our white Phantom.  Yep,  that’s
what we call our car.  It’s the name of the
color of it,  Phantom White 🙂  The boys
are busy now aggravating Judy for treats.
LOL,  they can be demanding at times 🙂
We love them.  They keep us amused and
happy.  Yes they have their moments that
they wear on our nerves like any dog or
child,  but we love them none the less 🙂
My weather program says that it is 69 F
degrees right now at 3:05 PM.  Gotta love
this weather 🙂 <3  I do not miss that old
Texas heat one bit LOL.  I do though miss
family and friends as well as being able to
go to Port Aransas.  Port Aransas will
always be one of Mine and Judy’s favorite
places.  We’ve got tons of pictures and
videos of our visits down there and we will
often take a photo voyage and relive all
of those wonderful moments in our minds.
Those pictures and videos bring back the
sights and sounds of the Port Aransas
shore.  We are hoping to be able to one
day return to Port A and have many more
experiences.  Thankfully though we’ve
got many forms of blessings that keep our
hearts pumping up here in Maine.  The
seasonal beauty becomes a masterpiece
as each day explodes with blessings.  I
am always in search of another picture
to take or video to capture.  Thank You
God for all of the wonderful things that
You have given Judy and I.  These boys
of ours are truly a blessing.  Judy and I
also have truly wonderful daughters that
we could not be more proud of.  I’m glad
that my daughter and I were able to let
the past be the past and find a future
that we could be more close.  Of course
she is in Texas,  but we are close at heart.
I love you Jamye and Sami.  I hope to
see yall again real soon.  My mom has
been a big help to Judy and I, for without
her we might not of made it.  I love you
mom.  Thank you for all that you have
done for Judy and I and especially all
that you have done for me in the past 🙂
Thank You God for all of these blessings.
For without You,  I would not be here
at all and I would be missing all of the
magic that goes on around me.  So now
with that said,  I reckon it’s time for me
to be taking a little trip back through
all of my rambling to see if I can find
a good word or phrase that I can use
for the title for today’s brand new poem.
So,  it’s away I go to that place of my
recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  I believe I may
have stumbled on a good title just about
a 3rd of the way back LOL.  Now let’s
see what if anything at all I can do with
it.  Here goes nothing hehehe Hope not.

A Photo Voyage

A timeless scene
in photographs,
those memories
of the past.
A photo voyage
to a place,
a page, a stage,
a smiling face.
A little venture
I remember
now that burns
as brightest ember.
My photographs
recall a time
the days and lives
of yours and mine.
The scenes become
a wondrous dream
a photo voyage
we once had seen.
All those moments
now live on,
a photo voyage
of days long gone.

So there ya go.  I hope you liked the poem.
Those memories still fuel poetry within me.
I hope my rambling didn’t put you to sleep.
LOL although,  if you needed a nap,  then
I hope it helped a little hehehe.  I do tend
to ramble a bit don’t I 🙂  I can’t help it LOL.
I’m just a rambling man.  So I wonder,  is
there anything that I need to tell you.  Well,
Judy’s sister Dena is doing fairly well.  She
came home from the hospital last weekend.
She had lung cancer.  She’s waiting on the
biopsy now.  Keep her in your prayers and
my sister Peggy is doing fairly well.  She’s
on the last leg of treatment for her cancer.
Please keep them both in your prayers.
Ok,  so I guess that’s about all I have for
ya this week.  Now it’s time for me to be
telling you what I tell you almost every
week and that is,  I wrote some more
poems and haiku.  Yep,  10 more poems
with 1 of them being sort of Christmassy.
Actually I wrote 1 more poem Saturday
to put in a picture so that ups the count
to 11 hehehe.  I also wrote 22 haiku for
all of the haiku lovers out there.  I hope
you can find 1 or 2 of either or both that
you like.  Now with that said I reckon
it’s time for me to be searching for that
confounded off switch,  but not before
I wish you a most wonderful weekend
or what that’s left of it if anything  and
a truly blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.   Now,
where could that off switch be hiding
this week?  Hmm,  let me think,  hmm,
I think I see movement behind my other
keyboard.  Yeppers,  I see ya.  You
almost went undetected there while you
were lying right beside my little Animal
figurine hehehe,  but ya moved and well,
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S  A link to Judy’s new book as at
the end of the journal along with the
others.  Enjoy 🙂

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10+1 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

A Silent Storm

A stormy sky
that ones can see
warns of times
for you and me.
But so often
is no alarm
to give a warning
silent storm.
Some will harness
all they feel
inside tightly
to conceal.
Yet a moment
might show true
a silent storm that
comes in view.

Monday Monday

The weekend’s passed now
I truly see
Monday Monday
ones don’t agree.
Some see Monday,
troubles begun
back to the grind stone
without fun.
Yet so many will
look and find
Monday Monday
great design.
The times beginnings
weeks release
Monday Monday
seeking peace.
Monday Monday
brings to view
life surmounted
fresh and new.
Then the week is
days to find
looking forwards
to weekends mind.

In The Evening

Time will come
and time will go
as each moment
finds its flow.
In the shadows
sun will shine
leaving glimmers
time to time.
In the evening
there’s a while
leaving hopeful
for a smile.
With it’s minutes
ticking on
in the evening’s
seeking dawn.
Soon the starlight
will be leaving
that’s now showing
in the evening.
So enjoy it
oh so true
in the evening
wondrous view.

A Dreamers Smile

The sense of a moment
that gathers no moss
can be a mere fraction
of lesser the loss.
The smile of a dreamer
will welcome a time,
a fantastical journey
with words of a rhyme.
Pages that are written
become a dreams book
sought for by hopeful
some moments to look.
In a dreamers smile
there becomes such a place
that’s found mesmerizing
scenes on a face.
Various turnstiles
bring forth a great view
of a dreamers smile
from then thereunto.

Demanding Time

Distant days,
now so gone
leave a phase
of dusk to dawn.
Demanding time
will take your peace
leaving bitter
to never cease.
Loose the hold of
each mistake.
Seek the future
wide awake.
Find the peaceful
here and there
found within
a moments prayer
Look for blessings
found divine.
Don’t be always
demanding time.

The Name Of The Game

Choices discernible
become as the game,
winning and losing
while ones go insane.
Lifestyles of many
are just out in space
and don’t see the weary
with lines on their face.
The name of the game
is a troublesome course
sometimes misleading
with greeds wanted force.
The choices with voices
can sometimes be sad,
because of the past days
journeys they had.
Time keeps on ticking
as the moments proclaim
that fate and our choices
are the name of the game.

Cloudy Days

Mornings sunshine
comes so bright
then some white clouds
come in sight.
Scenes created
in the blue
cloudy days are
greater view.
Pictures painted
in the sky
cloudy days will
give reply.
Answers to our
thoughts in time
found within
a clouds design
Words as wisdom
white and grays
are within the
cloudy days.

Lost In A Room

Now is a fraction
counted and seen
seconds and minutes
nightmare or dream.
Lost in a room,
words are not heard
some making sense
and some just absurd.
A remembered thought
might seem as a place
lost in a room
an aroma or taste.
My heart beats faster
as each time displays
echoes of the past
in all my dismays.
Yet all the minutes
and moments now gone
are lost in a room
for I must move on.
Leaving the shadows
of my own despair
and seeking the better
that’s found within prayer.
Now is a fraction
I must now attune
releasing the sadness,
lost in a room.

That Snowy Day

Summertime’s memoirs
so many will view
sunning and swimming
in water so blue.
Yet I find the days
of a summertime’s while
the doorway to winter
with a Christmastime smile.
Those scenes come to life
in my mind as I gaze
as I remember
those snowy white days.
Christmas music playing
so joyful to hear
that snowy day
of my yesteryear.
I remember blessings
that season brings forth
the white snow falling
on us way up north.
The memories now alive
are seeking that day
Christmastime’s venture
on that snowy day.

Within A Glance

Free falling through life
as each stage is set
a glance might not see
what you wish to get.
Timetables turning
bringing us chance
is often misconceived
within a glance.
Acting too rashly
and not thinking through
the things that you’ll say
or things that you’ll do.
Within a glance
right now might seem
a blessing so wondrous
found as a dream,
but with inaccuracy
comes such a price
within a glance
of a hurried device.
Look for the truthful
found beyond fiction
within a glance
of ones contradiction.
Truth is a pathway
with much better chance,
lessens remembered
within a glance.

New Limerick Train Tracks

Train tracks in snowfall
as stories foretold
become as the pathways
to the young and the old.
New Limerick train tracks
show journeys upon
those time frames as echoes
as minutes tick on.
Lifetimes of travels
those tracks have been through
found in New Limerick
from then thereunto.
Train tracks through winter
bring snowfall alive
as the engineers life
will continue to drive.
New Limerick train tracks
all covered with snow
in the wintertime’s journeys
where all that they go.

Haiku
for Aug 5,  2016

A peaceful evening
exposes many blessings
found deep in the mind.

Doorways to hopeful
are often clouded with time
as God’s time is true.

Misty mornings come
bringing essence for flowers
to help them to bloom.

Chance is a time
that implicates itself as
what that must happen.

Daisies will blossom
bringing beauty all around
in many colors.

The sky’s formations
are many different views
often with some clouds.

Shadows of a tree
might expose fear within you
as the limbs will sway.

Hateful is a thought
that comes to life through actions
and words that are said.

Leftover moments
can fall into today’s life
and become baggage.

Shouting every word
only puts fuel on the fire
to increase the flame.

A dreamers snowflake
falls to Earth as a blessing
to land as pure love.

Various actions
show us what that is the truth
and what is a lie.

Repetitive moments
bring forth the fact of lifestyles
that many will live.

Beyond what we see
is a spirit world of life
that continues on.

Fragrance of summer
finds aromas of mown lawns
that cause ones to sneeze.

Cherishing minutes
can become a mere burden
preventing right now.

Loosely fitting thoughts
will fall pray to discussion
as ones see the truth.

The passing of time
shows our yesterdays ventures
and all we went through.

In the break of dawn
comes a chance for a new day
with new beginnings.

Uncontrolled anger
will explode as dynamite
with a real short fuse.

Being too nosy
can acquire lesser of friends,
for we all need space.

A steep hill of life
can often cause us to fall
if we’re not careful.
