ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

Well the year is at end now and tomorrow
will not only be a brand new day,  but also
a brand new year.  Yep,  2017 is breathing
its last breath and beginning after midnight
I will have try and remember it is another
year.  LOL I might do as always and end up
having to go back and fix the poems that I
signed 2017 for a month or so hehehe.  My
old brain gets locked onto one year and it
refuses to release it for a month or 2 LOL.
So,  I guess it’s on with the journal.  As you
may have noticed,  I didn’t write a journal
last week.  Hey,  it was Christmas.  Judy and
I were enjoying our time together watching
Christmas movies and eating good food 🙂
It snowed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
It was a good thing we didn’t have anywhere
to be,  because we were snowed in with about
a foot of snow or more.  It was a wonderful
sight.  The snow made Christmas even better.
I got out with the snow blower Christmas Day
and plowed a place for the boys to go potty.
They couldn’t get out LOL.  The snow was
a bit too deep to potty in.  LOL Rocky was
following not far behind me as I plowed the
snow.  He had to go potty Hahaha.  After
I got it done,  both he and Benny were out
there finding spots to do their thing hehehe.
Then as I walked out to the road to check
the mail,  they stood atop the deep snow to
watch me.  Yes I know mail did not run then,
but I had not checked the mail since Friday
so Saturday’s mail was out there.  It’s not
like our mailbox is within just a few steps ya
know LOL.  It’s quite a ways out to the main
road.  Anyways,  our landlord had someone
come and plow our driveway the day after
Christmas.  So the 28th which was Thursday
I went out and dug our car out of the snow
so we could go to town and buy a few things.
I also spent that day working on the porch
door to get it where it would shut and our
front door trying to seal up the air leaks.
Got that all done.  Judy and I then went
to town and bought stuff we were out of.
I’m hoping this new year has a few blessings
in it.  We don’t ask for much.  Just a few
blessings.  Next topic.  Well,  it looks as if
we might get some more snow this week 🙂
It don’t bother me none.  I love the snow,
but I am thinking that maybe if I were not
retired with no where to go,  that I might
not love it near as much hehehe.  Though
as the years keep mounting up on this old
body I don’t enjoy the snow as much as I
used to.  If we ever have any days that it
is not too cold for the boys,  I’ll go out
and toss them a few snowballs to chase 🙂
Right now at 6 PM it’s -2 F degrees which
is not all that bad,  but it is too cold to
do any snowball throwing and of course
for the boys to stay out with me and play.
Thursday along with snow,  the temp is
supposed to be a high of 25 F,  so me and
the boys might do a little play time then.
We might make a few short visits to the
outdoors before then.  Of course they’ve
gotta go outside and potty,  but they make
it quick LOL.  Then when they come back
inside they’re always in a playful mood as
they play chase through the house hehehe.
Yeppers,  wintertime is one of my favorite
seasons.  Of course I could do without the
price of heating oil always depleting our
bank accounts,  but that’s life.  I do love
Spring,  but as the temperature begins to
rise,  my old body has trouble functioning.
I am very hot natured and cannot stand it
if the temperature gets near 80 F degrees.
On that matter,  I do not miss Texas heat.
I do wish there was a way to just snap my
fingers and magically visit my friends and
family,  but transporters are still things of
Star Trek,  not real life LOL.  Scientist may
be working on such things,  but I am in
no hurry to have my atoms rearranged in
a box and then hear someone say Oops.
Most of all I don’t want to hear someone
say Uh-oh from a place other than where
my ears are supposed to be located Haha.
Yes,  I would love it if I could visit Texas
or wherever in just but a moment’s time.
I do though thank God for all that He’s
done for Judy and I.  He has given us a
ton of blessings.  Judy and I had a great
Christmas and tonight we will count down
to the new year and holler HAPPY NEW
YEAR.  We might even turn on the TV to
watch the ball drop in New York.  I hope
that the new year holds onto a few of the
better things that the previous years have
brought and doesn’t toss them in the trash.
I thank You God for all that You have
done for Judy and I.  Thank You for the
many blessings that have come our way.
Now I believe it’s time for me to take a
little trip back through all that I’ve written
here to see if I can find me a good word or
phrase that I can use for the title for today’s
brand new poem.  I think I found a fairly
decent title just a few lines back and now
after checking I see that it’s not been used
as of yet,  so used it shall be.   Here goes…

Magically

The minutes of a year
are as moments of time
magically displaying
what many will find.
We might see beauty
or a little despair
found on our journey
for a little fresh air.
Magically speaking
God does provide
things that we need
for time’s bumpy ride.
We might find struggles
within our own way
that are seen in our eyes
as a troubled array.
Yet then as minutes
are gathered around
you might then perceive
where lessons are found.
Magically forming
as we seek to survive,
lessons from Lord God
will keep us alive.
A new year of lessons
will bring forth a sign
often seen magically
within our own mind.
Scenes we’ve recorded
and things we recall
will display the new year
as life’s bouncing ball.
So as a new year
is clearer to see
look for the blessings
in life magically.

I hope you liked the poem.  It came to mind
in pieces and I had to put it together hehehe.
I also hope you enjoyed my rambling.  Yes,
I know I tend to ramble on and on about the
silliest things.  Anyways,  I hope you had a
great Christmas,  Hanukah or whatever you
celebrated.  We had a great Christmas.  Not
many presents,  but we have the greatest gift
and that is each other and God.  We’ve also
got our little boys here that keep us smiling.
So I guess it’s time for me to be telling you
what I tell you almost every week and that is
I wrote some more poems and haiku.  Yep
10 more poems with 1 extra and all 11 of
them are Christmas poems.  I also wrote 22
more haiku for all of the haiku lovers out
there.  I hope you can find 1 or 2 of either
or both that you like.  Now I believe it’s time
for me to begin my search for that hardly
elusive off switch,  but not before I wish
you a most wonderful weekend or what
that’s left of it and a HAPPY NEW YEAR
with a blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  OK,  so
where is that off switch hiding this week?
It’s had a whole extra week to look for a
good hiding spot.  LOL and once again it
did not use it Hahaha.  Hiding behind the
salt shaker didn’t work the other times
you tried it,  so why do you hide there?
The shaker is CLEAR and is only about
a 3rd filled LOL.  Try harder next time.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky

Mindful Gaze

Looking true
to distant styles
a mindful gaze
within the miles,
winter’s scenes
of love and peace
becomes essence
times release.
Christmas snow
so fluffy white
a mindful gaze
of pure delight.
Looking true
to all you see
you might find
a Christmas tree.
Found within
the winter’s days
you might find
a mindful gaze.

Doors That Open

Stages of winter
show a sign
doors that open
to Christmastime.
Seamless billows
snowy white
doors that open
to daylight.
As pure magic
of winter’s while
doors that open
give a smile.
Time once hidden
might be seen
doors that open
winter’s dream.
Time’s a fashion
stated true
doors that open
giving view.
As an ageless
times desire
doors that open
some admire.
For the moments
life displays
doors that open
give a gaze.
Christmas scenes
then come to be
doors that open
magically.
Snow becomes as
Heavens hue
doors that open
life anew.
Showing signs of
Christmas day
doors that open
show the way.

Winter’s Disguise

A little snow
upon the ground
might hide well
a sight and sound.
Within the scene
might be a day
disguised as time
a whitish way.
A seasons sight
to come in frame
might hold fast
so much to gain.
Winter’s disguise
can hide real well
a Christmas scene
of great detail.
The passing days
of moment’s mind
might uncover
Christmastime.
As the scenes
before our eyes
are no more
winter’s disguise.

This Traveled Road

As wheels will roll
and time moves on
a traveled road
might seem too long.
Winter’s story
beneath the wheels
displays moments
driving thrills.
For the scenery
passing by
this traveled road
as not too shy.
It unleashes
Christmas views
in the landscapes
whitish hues.
This traveled road
has much to say
seeming timeless
in a way.
As the wheels roll
heartbeats sound
seasons greetings
all around.
A point in time
that recreates
life as echoes
different dates.
Minutes passing
change to snow
as we drive
this traveled road.

Evening’s Light

A Christmas story
comes into view
within the evening’s
slight sky of blue.
The minutes pass
as colors bestow
landscapes of time
all covered with snow.
A Christmas delight
of a seasonal way
lights up my life
in wondrous display.
The evening’s colors
are often designed
as that of Christmas
in moments of time.
Sometimes pinkish
is joined with blue
in the evening’s light
as a magical hue.
It is but a moment
that comes and goes
as the evening’s light
blooms like a rose.
Then as the skyline
is left with a haze
the evening’s light
awaits future days.
Just waiting for time
to begin once again
as evening’s light,
a time to transcend.

Looking For Life

So often memories
are washed in a time,
seen as but shadows
of a wondrous design.
Glimmers of moments
that lived another day
might find another
way to display.
Looking for life
in moments you see
you might discover
what can truly be.
A Christmas blessing
from many years ago,
might again blossom
and surely bestow.
Displaying hopeful
from a youthful array
found in a time frame
of one distant day.
A Christmas miracle
that might then unfold
while looking for life
through ages of old.

Christmas Flight

We as birds
will find our way
when flying driving
day to day.
Season’s journey
times become
found as pathways
on the run.
Then as Christmas
comes so near,
songs so wondrous
we will hear.
As a bird flies
we will too
a Christmas flight
for then to view.
Christmas scenes
of life and times
a Christmas flight
will fill our minds.

Within The Snow

One winter’s day
you might behold
some steps within
the snow so cold.
A winter scene
that comes alive
within the snow
that did arrive.
A time of year
that brings in view
that snow of white
to then accrue.
Found as rhythms
a musical scene
within the snow
a winter’s dream.
A Christmas sight
becomes surreal
with snow of white
your hands can feel.
You might see signs
of some little dogs
strolling around
near trees and logs.
Their tiny steps
leave little trails,
those happy dogs
with wagging tails.
They may be found
running to and fro
on Christmas day
within the snow.

Standing In Snow

Beyond the day
might hold a glance
of someone found
a snowy stance.
A beard of white,
fat belly too
standing in snow
a Christmas view.
He might be seen
near Christmas day
to watch and wait
his journey’s way.
His suit of red
is clearly viewed
standing still
to try to elude.
Moving real slowly
with a HoHoHo
it is old Santa
standing in snow.

True To Life

While your worries
bring you down
The Spirit of God
is all around.
God’s Own Glory
through His Son
is always there
and not to shun.
For in the makings
of Christmas day
God’s Son Jesus
was sent our way.
He gives us strength,
what all we need
and then helps out
to plant a seed.
He’s True to life,
He’s my best friend,
He’s always there
to the moments end.
I might have troubles,
I might have pain,
but Jesus is always
with a gain.
He shows me daily
through my trials
ways to live then
find some smiles.
So I thank Him
True to life,
for I’ve now got
a wonderful wife.

Momentous Memories

Life is as a journey
becoming as a phase
counted as seconds
of momentous days.
Finding a memory
to bring back a time
found within seasons
of passion and rhyme.
Momentous memories
are timeless to see
as that of heartbeats
in our own history.
Various turnstiles
will open real wide
to allow our memories
somewhere inside.
Momentous segments
of a time long ago
might then display as
some fresh fallen snow.
A Christmastime scene
of a so distant day
becomes as a memoir
of a magical way.
Momentous memories
are fresh air to breathe,
Christmastime miracles
for ones to believe.
It might be imagined
what a heartbeat sees,
but it can be also
momentous memories.

Haiku
for Dec 23,  2017

Time is a number
that you often cannot see,
but it still exist.

Life as a flower
has blooms of a moments display
and then leaves shadows.

Tomorrows are life
without any guaranties
so do your best now.

The storms of our lives
might hold within them rainbows
to provide some peace.

Sat beside rain clouds
you might feel a drop or two,
to land on your head.

A moment will pass
as procrastination grows
leaving things undone.

Misleading people
can bring you much division
within your beliefs.

Seeking for true love
in the dimness of a bar
could find you much pain.

The challenge of life
might seem as impossible,
but growth can be found.

Without a dewdrop
of mornings of summertime
life might fall away.

Windows of our minds
can display many chances
if we’ll look to see.

Many a Christmas
can become as memories
to help us survive.

Walking in the rain
of a scenic summer day
there is breath of air.

Seed of a flower
becomes as its beginnings
to blossom and grow.

Choice is a moment
that we must deal with actions
if they’re right or wrong.

Deceptions best friend
is someone without conscience
and fear of the truth.

The snow of winter
displays beauty of Christmas
that many don’t see.

When in a snow storm
you might lose your pathway,
but you’ve led a trail.

A violins sound
gives forth its very nature
as heartbeats of love.

Without yesterdays
we would be void of lessons
and hit more brick walls.

Pouring misery
into cups of tomorrow
can hinder your life.

The life of a rose
is that of a bumblebee
as it pollinates.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

How’s life treating you?  It’s doing us pretty well.
Cold and snowy just like the season ordered LOL.
Yeppers,  it’s kind of wintery outside.  You have
to wear sunglasses just to look outside due to the
snow and its reflection of the sun.  Judy and I are
getting more and more into the Christmas spirit 🙂
We took some more pictures of us in our Christmas
attire and I’ve written tons more Christmas poems.
We’re going to have a peaceful Christmas right here
at home.  Yeppers,  we’re going to just enjoy life
taking it easy watching Christmas movies and eating
some nice Christmas dinner.  Though maybe not
the type of Christmas dinner you’ll have,  but it is
something we’ll enjoy hehehe.  Judy’s gonna make
some sausage balls and we bought a ham that is in
the freezer that will be our dinner as well as maybe
a few other things.  Neither of us is that fond of
turkey,  so we might get a chicken if we can afford
it.  Money’s kind of tight right now.  It’s gonna be
a cold one tonight.  Supposed to be -2 F by early
morning.  Right now at 5:30 it’s 6 F degrees.  Still,
not too bad 🙂  LOL when the boys have gotta go
outside to potty,  they make it quick hehehe and
they are ready to come back inside.  Especially
being that we gave them haircuts just a week or
so ago and they don’t have a ton of hair on them.
Although they do have their Christmas sweaters
on which helps to keep them warm.  We have
decided that if we are going to have to act as the
groomers for these boys,  we’re going to have to
cut their hair once every other month. so to keep
their hair from getting too long and all tangly 🙂
We bought some real good self sharpening dog
shears,  but we figure that even if we were to have
to buy new shears every year,  it would still be a
lot cheaper than paying the dog groomer LOL.
The days are getting a lot shorter now.  Of course
they have been getting shorter for a few weeks
now.  But now it seems that no sooner does the
sun come up that it is on its way down again in
the afternoon hehehe.  Yep,  a day last only 8
hours and 38 minutes now.  Sunrise is 7:09 AM
and sunset is 3:47 PM.  It doesn’t allow much
daylight to do anything and being we do not
have a security light other than all of our solar
powered motion sensor lights.  They help a
bunch and also make it where the boys can see
when they go out to go potty at night or in this
case the afternoon being it starts getting dark
at 3:47 PM Hahaha.  So,  what else is going on
around The Pearce’s Place?  Well,  actually
there’s not much going on.  Judy has done a few
paintings and I’ve been writing more Christmas
poems for our photos and her paintings hehehe.
Sometime in the next few months I might do
a book of just Christmas poetry pictures.  I’ve
already done 104 Christmas poetry pictures 🙂
Also I plan on us doing a book with all of the
poetry pictures I did using Judy’s paintings.
I am still in hopes of our books to finally 1
day start selling.  As of now,  the sales are
in the single digits,  but we have faith that
they will 1 day catch on.  So many of my
friends told me that if I ever published a
book then they would buy it or them and so
far just a few my friends have held to their
words.  No matter,  I’ll keep on writing and
Judy will keep on with her paintings ever
so often LOL.  It’s what keeps us sane or
should I say saner hehehe.  Well,  there’s
not much else to tell you.  God is still with
us and watching over us along with the
many angels that He has sent to keep an
eye on us.  We have our needs and even
a few of our wants thanks be it to God 🙂
Thank You God for never giving up on me.
Now I believe it’s time for me to begin my
little journey back through all that I have
written here to see if I can find a word or
phrase that will work well for the title for
today’s brand new poem.  So it’s away
I go to that place of my recollection that
I always like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.
I think I found a good title about a 3rd
of the way back in my rambling and now
after checking,  I see that I have not used
it as of yet and so then used it shall be.
Here goes…

As Of Now

Pointless actions
come and go
as we’re walking
to and fro.
Scenes become as
times and places
as of now
like times shoelaces.
Some will tangle
causing falls
leaving troubles
highest walls.
Yet the moments
that we view
as of now
might not be true.
For the minutes
shadows cast
as of now
might be the past.

There ya go,  I hope you liked and maybe even
understood the poem.  I also hope you enjoyed
my rambling.  Hopefully I said something that
made you smile or think or both hehehe.  I do
tend to ramble don’t I hehehe.  Yep,  there’s a
lot going on in this old brain of mine.  LOL it
might not make a lick of sense,  but there is a
lot going on in my noggin and it keeps me from
sleeping quite often Hahaha.  LOL did ya ever
know anyone that recited poetry when trying to
sleep or go to the bathroom hehehe.  I’m sure
that 1 day my old brain will burn out and that
will be the last you hear from me hehehe.  All
you will hear if you listen closely is the slight
sound of an old time off air tune that used to
be displayed in the old days of TV hehehehe 🙂
Oh well,  enough with that.  Now I believe it’s
time for me to be telling you what I tell you
almost every week and that is,  I wrote some
more poems and haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more
poems with an extra 2 and 11 of the poems
are Christmas poems.  I also wrote 22 more
haiku for all of the haiku lovers out there.
I hope you can find 1 or 2 of either or both
that you like.  Now with that said I guess it’s
time for me to begin my search for that off
switch that is terrible at hiding 🙂  but not
before I wish you a most wonderful blessings
filled week.  Remember,  Jesus loves you and
we do too.  Now,  where can that ornery off
switch be hiding this week?  Hmm,  looking
high and low all around the room.  LOL I
almost didn’t see ya this time,  but then my
eye caught a glimpse of something moving
behind my really thin external hard drive.
Yep,  I see ya hehehe.  You couldn’t quite get
as flat as that hard drive could ya hehehe.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky

Love Is The Way

Seek beyond greed
and look for a smile
found on a journey
of a hopeful style.
Find in the season
a love that will grow
timeless the essence
that heartbeats bestow.
Look beyond vision
and feel deep within
the seasonal blessings
that will then begin.
Lose all the sadness
of yesterday’s strife
and let love guide you
to a brand new life.
Look for the times
that come into play,
Christmas so joyful,
for love is the way.

Icy River

Winter’s glance
is found to be
an icy river
I can see.
As a painting
it lies still,
an icy river
wintery feel.
Its true beauty
comes so white
this icy river
such a sight.
Signs of winter
are its view
frozen over
thereunto.
Winter’s ways
are like a dream
an icy river
frozen stream.

Somewhere In Christmas

Life is a pattern
that many forsake
losing the memories
in a bottomless lake.
So many only see
the misery and grime
and don’t see the joy
of Christmastime.
Somewhere somehow
the sad needs a smile
somewhere in Christmas
of a seasonal style.
Look beyond now
and see what can be
somewhere on beyond
right now that you see.
Life is a pattern
of which we can change
by losing the baggage
of times so insane.
Let loose the strings
of yesterdays strife
and find now today
a much better life.
Somewhere in Christmas
a scene can be found,
the sight of a new day
if you’ll look around.
Look now for better
with a wondrous appeal
somewhere in Christmas
some good you can feel.

Christmasville

Down a road
to seasons sight
we drove on
to our delight.
We saw scenes
a wondrous view
to Christmasville
a time anew.
Roads were clear
with snow beside
as we went on
our scenic ride.
We imagined
sights we’d see
at Christmasville
so fancy free.
We sang songs
of times appeal
on our drive
to Christmasville.

Season’s Sight

Amidst a moment
of snow of white
I saw a scene
in season’s sight.
It was Christmassy
yet in the scene,
I saw no sign
of red, blue or green.
No lights twinkling,
but yet I could tell
it was of Christmas,
I know so well.
It had of the essence
a Christmassy flair,
a seasonal joy
filled with fresh air.
For just a moment
it seemed as a dream
with season’s sight
and snow all agleam.
It made me smile
to see this place
and my heart
was filled with grace.
This season’s sight
was such to gaze,
it brought me joy
for coming days.
Within this view
of evening’s delight
I felt blessed
with season’s sight.

A Magical Way

A cold snowy sight,
a picturesque hue
brings forth delight
and dreams to come true.
Its essence is sweet
as a Christmassy day
built upon moments
in a magical way.
Those sweet memories
of the times long ago
are the seeds to unleash
some white fallen snow.
As a painting deep within
of which you remember,
it’s a magical scene
that’s found in December.
Such a wondrous display
on a cold snowy night
that became as a dream
of the mornings daylight.
A cold snowy scene
of a great point on time
brings Christmas alive
feeling oh so divine.
With a flavor recalled
of a passionate while,
you might then display
the grandest of a smile.
A smile from a moment
when you were so young
in a magical way
of a passed setting sun.

A Long Time Ago

One time long ago
I wished for a day,
a magical moment
with snow on display.
A time I remember
was only in my dreams
from a long time ago
of certain winter scenes.
Decembers shadows
were just but a time,
as winter was void
of words of a rhyme.
A big round snowman
was filled full of air,
Christmas was lacking
that white snowy flair.
One day I remember
from a long time ago
I dreamed of what I see,
white Christmas snow.

Man Of White

One day I saw
a man of white
made of snow
and pure delight.
He stood so tall,
near an old tree
with decorations
real clear to see.
This man of white
with cloak and hat
was a snowman
oh so fat.
He had a grin
upon his face,
this man of white
with wider waist.
One Christmas day
some kids had made
this man of white
that then displayed.
He came to life
in dreams one night,
what children made,
this man of white.

Looking Afar

Days at end
as time moves on
leaving the trails
to soon be gone.
Looking afar
to then and there
our memories
are just like air.
A puff of wind
as a breeze flies by
while looking afar
to a seasons sky.
It brings into view
a Christmas past,
that lives in you
as shadows cast.
Looking afar
to a distant day
on a magical road,
a Christmassy way.
Life is discerning
as time is found,
looking afar
as wheels go round.
A time you recall
from a distant trail,
a life so simple
in every detail.
There is this road,
a shining star,
a Christmas scene
while looking afar.

Gleaming

Nights of Christmas
bring forth their shine
gleaming so brightly
a wondrous design.
Scenes come alive
in a magical flair
gleaming of Christmas
in nighttime’s fresh air.
A view in the night
might fill your dreams
as lights that glitter
from magical scenes.
Life is a doorway
to a wonderful place,
gleaming so brightly
a time to embrace.
The moments dance
as a sugarplum fairy
and sweet memories
of Christmas so merry.
Scenes come alive
in the twinkling lights,
gleaming so brightly
within Christmas nights.
Life is so glorious
as Christmas bells
along with the aroma
of Christmassy smells.
The scents come alive
in a gleaming array,
Christmas lights glow
in a wonderful way.

Surely Come Alive

Driving by moments
that display a view
shows many a scene
to come alive as anew.
Seeming as Christmas
the seconds tick on
leaving the essence
of a new day to dawn.
Christmas beginnings
with winter white snow
brings alive moments
that just seem to grow.
Alive as a picture
that God painted true
is a Christmassy scene
He gave me and you.
We might not see them,
we pass them each day,
the times so alive
in a wonderful way.
Open your eyes now
and see what is there,
alive in the makings
as a true breath of air.
Minutes tick onwards
as lifestyles are grown
displaying wonders
as a Christmas cologne.
The aromas so sweet
on a Christmastime drive
are as God’s blessings
that surely come alive.

Snoopy’s Christmas

Christmastime stories,
cartoons and more
help us remember
what Christmas is for.
Charlie brown scenes
with little Snoopy too
recreate many
their seasonal view.
Though many never
saw what was there
maybe a Christmas tree
found really bare.
The fact is the story
can become as a fog
when you’re forgetting
little Snoopy the dog.
Our pets can enjoy
the same that we see
for Snoopy’s Christmas
is the best that can be.
His friend Woodstock
can enjoy it too
as a season of joy
for four legs and two.

Haiku
for Dec 16,  2017

As a flower blooms
it also disperses life
to a bumble bee.

Life is a challenge
that can either help us grow
or to just give up.

Time is just seconds
that add up to a lifetime
that some overlook.

God shows us mercy,
but many just don’t want it,
because they don’t care.

Need is confusion
when want is within the mind
leading the venture.

When you are lying,
the truth is always around
to be uncovered.

A child’s inner sight
is stronger than that of ours,
for they still believe.

Hope for the future
lies in the beginnings hands
that are good or bad.

The leaves of autumn
find their way into winter
to make room for snow.

Looking too harshly
at the things life provides
can create sadness.

Morning brings changes
in the way that many feel,
for sleep has its way.

Many see pieces
of themselves in their children,
but don’t understand.

The past is as shadows
that disperses many sights
that we might not like.

When looking upwards
you might see so many stars
that have since passed on.

The sight of a bird
as it flies high in the sky
is beauty with wings.

Kneeling by your bed
saying prayers before sleep
can give you much peace.

Shelter from a storm
might be something or someone
that God has sent you.

Discovering talents
can be a scary moment
that opens a door.

A forest of eyes
see the life you are living,
but you do not know.

Pointless is praying
if you haven’t any faith,
for God knows the truth.

When hearing a bird
as it sings throughout the day,
your mind might flutter.

The scent of raindrops
brings to life beauty of time
found from a rain cloud.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been a wintery week and the snows
have begun.  Not too much yet,  but I’m
sure we will get our share as we always do.
We’ve been busy decorating our house, on
the inside of course.  I don’t own a ladder
so climbing up to hang Christmas lights on
the outside of the house is pretty much out
of the question LOL.  Monday we drove to
town to pay the light bill and do a little bit
of shopping.  Not much has happened here
other then that.  I’ve been working more on
my poetry pictures.  Only 26 more to do and
then I get started formatting it and getting
volume 6 published.  I write a lot don’t I 🙂
Yep,  it keeps me busy.  If it weren’t for my
writing,  I might go bonkers at times LOL.
Being stuck up here with none of my friends
makes it hard,  but it could be a lot worse.
I do have a beautiful loving wife and 2 dogs,
or our boys as we call them 🙂 that keep us
entertained and when Judy’s not here, they
make fairly decent company except for the
fact that they’re not good with conversation
being they don’t speak English and I don’t
do dog.  Ok I might speak it a little,  but not
enough to carry on a conversation hehehe.
We got a bit of snow last night and early
this morning.  It looked so pretty,  I had
to go outside and take a few pictures of it.
Our landlord plowed this morning,  but we
had nowhere to go,  but it was good just
in case an emergency arose.  I went out
today and hung our Pearce’s sign and just
a bit ago,  Judy and I hung Christmas
lights inside of our porch.  It looks very
pretty now.  They are solar light sensor
Christmas lights and I put the solar cells
facing the windows so they can charge
when the sun comes up.  LOL we even
put solar Christmas lights around the
lighthouse that Judy and I built hehehe.
The lighthouse is now on the porch out
of the weather.  It’s needing a bit of touch
up work.  It survived last winter,  but it
we didn’t think it would survive another.
So as soon as it’s been touched up,  it will
be ready to set outside again to soak up
those solar rays and shine in the night
once again.  LOL we live such an exciting
life don’t we,  NOT hehehe.  Nope,  we
enjoy the smaller things such as watching
TV together or just sitting in the room
together writing and painting.  We did
give the boys haircuts.  The groomers
that we had before are retiring and only
keeping a small few to groom and we
didn’t make the list,  so Judy and I went
and bought us some new better quality
dog shears that are self sharpening and
we’re going to start giving them haircuts
every 3 months.  So their next haircut
is due February 🙂  As long as we don’t
let their hair grow out too much,  we
can handle it 🙂  We might have to buy
new shears once a year,  but that is still
a whole lot cheaper than paying some
groomer anyways LOL.  So,  what else
has gone on around the Pearce’s Place?
Well,  Judy went to her sister’s house
last night for craft night and yes it was
snowing.  After me trudging out to the
mailbox through the snow I called and
left a message on Judy’s phone telling
her that she might wanna come home
a little sooner than planned being even
with me walking I had trouble telling
where the driveway began and where
it ended LOL.  She called me before
she left and said she is on her way,  but
she’s letting the car warm up to clear
the windows.  LOL when she got home,
she told me that when she got to our
driveway,  she slid passed it and had to
back up and try again hehehe.  She
said she followed the foot trail that I
made when walking out to check the
mail to keep her on the driveway LOL.
I was so relieved when she got home 🙂
LOL so were the boys.  They were all
excited,  but then they’re excited even
when either of us walks outside for just
a brief and walk back inside.  🙂 They
no nothing of time.  It could be a day,
an hour or just for a moment,  but
they see it all the same hehehe.  Gotta
love them boys.  God has been good
to us.  He has made sure we’ve had
all that we need.  We are so thankful.
Thank you God for never giving up on
me even when I had given up on myself.
You showed me that life is more than
what we see.  It’s what we are yet to see
that makes it much better.  So I try
not to focus on the problems of today,
but the miracles that have yet begun.
Now,  I believe it’s time for me to begin
my little journey back through all that
I’ve written here to see if I can find a
good word or phrase that I can use for
the title for today’s brand new poem.
So,  it’s away I go,  to that place of my
recollection that I always like to call,
RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I found
a decent title a little less than a third of
the way back in my rambling and now
after checking I see that it has not been
used as of yet,  but use it shall be today.
Here goes…

Try Again

When life throws you
a rotten time
use that moment
to find sublime.
As pages of life
leave an empty stare
try again
a different flair.
Seek the styles
beyond what’s known
and find your place
as flesh and bone.
Don’t let problems
hold you back.
Try again
to get on track.
So if life is
pouring rain,
look for rainbows
and try again.

I hope you liked the poem and maybe even
understood it hehehe.  Also I hope that you
enjoyed my rambling.  I do seem to always
find things to ramble about don’t I hehehe!
Well,  I can’t think of anything else to tell
you other than what I tell you almost every
week and that is I wrote some more poems
and haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more poems with
an extra 4 as well as 8 Christmas poems in
the mix LOL.  I also wrote 22 more haiku
for all of the haiku lovers out there.  I hope
you can find 1 or 2 of either or both that
you like.  Now I believe it’s time for me to
begin my search for that hardly elusive off
switch,  but not before I wish you a most
wonderful blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  Now to
find that ornery off switch.  Looking high
and low around the room.  Hmm,  that
looks strange.  I don’t remember my eye
drops dancing.  LOL Ok,  so you gave my
eyedrops a another chance for a hiding
place.  Still it would work much better if
you would STAY STILL hehehehehehehe.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Christmas Essence

Time’s a dream
a scenic sight
as a moment’s
Christmas light.
That of a story
a displayed design
shows the scenes
of Christmastime.
Christmas essence
a seasonal hue,
times remembered
that come in view.
We might recall
a passionate time,
a day,  a flavor
then so divine.
Christmas essence
at it’s very heart,
times remembered
God’s work of art.

So Joyful

Yesterdays shadows
of Christmassy sights
display the patterns
of twinkling lights.
Times we remember
of Christmassy days
might now be only
of yesterdays ways.
But as the season
brings forth a glance
moments so joyful
we might see enhance.
Joy in the singing
of songs oh so sweet,
reminding of seasons
with good food to eat.
Then as the memoir
becomes more clear,
you might so joyful
find hope in this year.

Searching For Santa

Our little doggy
he so loves the snow
as he sits on a mound
that moments bestow.
Each day he watches
and searches the sky,
searching for Santa
as time just flies by.
As Christmas nears us
he searches each day,
looking for Santa
within his great sleigh.
Our little dog is
a snow dog for sure,
for each day in winter
the snow’s as a lure.
It coaxes him outside
to look to the sky
searching for Santa,
when he gets nearby.

Flying With Time

Earth and sky
displays a sight,
a time of thought
in moments flight.
A season’s quest
begins its phase
flying with time
sometimes a haze.
We might seem alone
as times will pass,
but find yet another
shadow that cast.
There might be one
that flies the same
time and space
yet different name.
Their wings of life
might then transcend
but fly the time
as a hidden friend.
This friend might be
one that you see,
but as of now
you don’t agree.
They might be love
with no applaud,
as Heavens angel
sent from God.
Then when troubles
are on your mind
there is another
flying with time.

Views We Miss

Passing scenes
of now and then
might be views
just like the wind.
Blowing briskly
passing through
becoming times
we miss the view.
Maybe horses
within a stall,
the views we miss
might come to call.
Yet the moments
times display
become essence
of another day.
So slow down
and enjoy life
and don’t let time
to end in strife.
Views we miss
might be the best
giving problems
a moment’s rest.

I’m Amazed

Christmas lights
of timeless views
display sights
of wondrous hues
and I’m amazed
at everything
the love I see
and songs we sing.
Times a glimmer
large and small
a scenic wonder’s
ooh and awe.
Yes I’m amazed
at Christmas themes
displayed times
of wondrous scenes.
Lights all glowing
brightly so,
within green grass
or maybe snow.
The season shines
of all I’ve gazed
and this is why
that I’m amazed.

Love Of Life

Joyful settings
Christmas scenes
times remembered
just like dreams.
Love of life,
a burning ember
shines so bright
amidst December.
Time’s a moment
that ones lose
leaving loved ones
just confused.
Find the blessings,
husband and wife
or friends so true
with love of life.

Fantastic Dreams

When seeing storm clouds
that lifetimes attain
look for the rainbows
after the rain.
Don’t let the moments
of disheartened days
fill you with sadness
as cloud colored grays.
Some fantastic dreams
can bring into view
a lifestyle of hopeful
to live within you.
Dreaming is a blessing
that helps us survive,
sometimes fantastically
with visions alive.
Many of our burdens
are lessons to earn
that we often don’t see
as things we will learn.
The minutes and hours
of all that life seems
might become blessings
with fantastic dreams.

Peace Within

Searching scenes
amazing grace,
finds a moment’s
smiling face.
As a river’s
flowing scenes
peace is found
as fishing streams.
Life’s a pillow
to rest your head,
peace within
a heartbeats bed.
Like a journey
timeless view
peace within
gives life anew.
As a moment
does begin
we can find some
peace within.

Wandering Words

Looking for stories
with peaceful words
many will follow
a sad flock of birds.
Using bad judgment
to make it each day
can create lifestyles
that end a bit gray.
Wandering words
of a wondering soul
can say many things
with heavy a toll.
Riding as a passenger
and not as yourself
makes you a wanderer
to sit on life’s shelf.
Let God to guide you
through now and again
and cease the wandering
outwards and in.
Look for the mountains
of blessings to find
and you will one day
see that design.
Maybe not the same
as you wished to be,
but the best of a time
that you really need.
So don’t you be like
a lost flock of birds
flying around blindly
with wandering words.

Distant Sight

Through a doorway
life comes alive
as a distant time
on a scenic drive.
So many wonders
might come into view
as a distant sight
in waters of blue.
You might see ducks
just splashing around
as a distant sight,
a moment found.
Seen by a fountain
with great scenery
as a distant sight
for your eyes to see.
I saw this wonderful
sight so true
as a distant sight
that came into view.
It brought me joy
this awesome day
as a distant sight
took sadness away.

Light Of Christmas

White snow glistens
in evenings light
as that of Christmas
when seeking the sight.
Evenings shadows
are found to be
as the arrangements
for seekers to see.
Just like a story,
a Christmas design
the light shines brightly
in a moment’s mind.
Children are dreaming
of Santa in flight
found in his journey
on Christmas eve night.
The light of Christmas
lives now forevermore
as a sweet memory
with snowflakes to soar.
Time is of magic
when found in the eyes
of Children dreaming
of a Christmas surprise.
The season’s reflections
are found on display
in children’s heartbeats
in snow Christmas day.
Moment’s of grandeur
exists on their mind,
the light of Christmas
that is so divine.

My Winter Dreams

I have these dreams
of certain times,
the minutes passed
I wish to find.
My winter dreams
of snow of white
and memories
that I delight.
I have these dreams
each day so sweet
of winter scenes,
none can compete.
My winter dreams
of Christmas snow
that is so white
it seems to glow.
I have these dreams
of wondrous places
I’ve memorized
with smiling faces.
Each scene’s alive
as a Christmas stage
my winter dreams
of age to age.
I have these dreams
with seasons style,
a wondrous gaze
with a little smile.
These are scenes
that live with me.
My winter dreams
shall always be.

Our Two Dogs

In winter’s snow
our boys will play
bouncing around
from day to day.
Our two dogs
they bring us smiles
near Christmastime
as snow compiles.
They love to run
in the field of snow
that is so white
it seems to glow.
Our two dogs
are our little boys
and some snow balls
become toys.
I throw some out
for them the chase
and then watch each
smiling face.
They run and play
in seasons hue
near Christmastime
and sky of blue.
Christmas essence
shines with glee
as our two dogs
play happily.
Yes they’re our boys,
they’re never apart,
for our two dogs
are God’s work of art.

Haiku
for Dec 9,  2017

The light of the day
shines miracles upon life
to help it to grow.

Change is perception
within our many viewpoints
we might disagree.

Leftovers of life
can become baggage of growth
that’s really a weed.

The sense of being
can be ones disillusion
in midst of a storm.

In times beginnings
there might be some redundance
that comes from endings.

As time passes by
it leaves shadows of itself
within the future.

A snowflake is life
as it floats down to the Earth
to become winter.

Life is like a rose
as blossoms with its colors
to become beauty.

Time is a question
that answers itself in time
with some confusion.

Seasons of windows
open and close with changes
that become our lives.

Today brings chances
to use yesterdays lessons,
so use them wisely.

Beyond what we see
is a spirit world of life
that we’ll one day see.

Holding too tightly
to ones that you care about,
might push them away.

Sharing and caring
needs to be done with kindness
or it’s just a thing.

Scenes we discover
might hold even more within
that’s beyond the sight.

Wishing for the moon
will not give you its glory,
but fill you with dreams.

Minutes tick faster
when worry is put in place,
but time is the same.

Lost in a turnstile
not knowing to leave or stay
finds many stagnant.

The root of evil
is the greed of a heartbeat
that only sees self.

Last place can be good
if it’s headed for trouble,
for first holds problems.

When diving head first
into the unknown of life
you might not land well.

A lonely person
might be lonely with many
due to perception.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

There hasn’t been much going on around
here lately.  Although,  we did manage to
get most of our Christmas shopping done.
We also got a few things that we’ve been in
need of for a while.  I ordered me a hearing
aid.  I’m hoping it will help me to be able
to hear the TV without having to turn it up
full blast and people won’t have to yell when
talking to me or me have to attempt to read
their lips LOL.  I only ordered 1 hearing aid
being my right ear is stone deaf.  No help for
it.  The ear drum has been ripped due to a
little epidemic back when I was 13.  A moth
flew in my ear and daddy used tweezers to
try and get it out,  but accidentally got a hold
of my ear drum while pulling the moth out.
So,  it didn’t go completely deaf then,  but
in time,  it faded.  Plus all of the males that
I know of on my dad’s side of the family had
loss of hearing.  My left ear is getting worse
every day.  So,  next topic.  We seem to be
on a waiting list for snow LOL.  Of course
there have been years that we hadn’t gotten
snow until about a week into December,  so
I’m sure it will get here soon enough hehehe.
I’m anxious to test out our new snow blower.
It’s 29 F degrees right now at 6 PM.  Still not
too cold.  Nope,  it’s actually warm compared
to what it will be as winter continues on LOL.
Yeppers,  for some reason I love wintertime.
I think it’s mostly the snow.  I love snow,  but
hate the slush and all the muck that follows
it LOL.  I guess with any beauty you must
also deal with a few flaws huh hehehe.  Just
as spring and summer give flowers  and rain,
but are also with a lot of heat that I cannot
handle.  Fall\autumn has a lot of beauty as
the leaves change colors,  but becomes a pain
for people with a lot of trees in their yard,
being it becomes time to start mulching and
raking hehehe.  Though I cannot think of
anything more beautiful than watching snow
falling from the sky becoming artwork in the
landscape.  Even the ugliest house becomes
beautiful with snow on and around it.  So,
I reckon that’s all on that topic LOL.  Next.
I’ve got 120 poetry pictures written for book
number 6.  Only 40 more and then the fun
part starts LOL,  Publishing it 🙂  Yeppers,
I might have it finished by January.  Now if
we could just sell these darn things.  I had
so many people saying,  “if you publish a
book I’ll buy it”  but so far nobody that has
said that has done that.  I guess I’ll have to
wait till after I’m dead and gone before the
books will sell.  I hope though that is not
the case.  It would be nice to have something
to show for all of our efforts.  So,  if you’d
like to check out our books,  the links are at
the very end/bottom of the email.  I’m sure
you will love our books.  They would make
great Christmas gifts.  So,  what else is there
to tell you?  I can’t think of anything.  God
has still been watching over us providing our
needs.  We don’t ask for much.  Both Judy
and I were raised up not having much,  so
we’re happy with the simpler things.  Yes.
God and His angels have kept watch over
us and they are still watching over us with
their love.  We have our share of struggles,
but for the most part,  we are happy.  I just
wish my daughter and granddaughter lived
closer and I could get to know Jamye’s new
husband Brennon a little better.  I’m hoping
they can come up here for a visit sometime.
Although I am doubting Jamye will ever
come up for Christmas again,  but it would
be great if she did.  That was one of the
greatest Christmases that I can remember.
It seems my granddaughter Sami being 17
has become too busy for us.  I’m hoping
that our grandson Christian does not get
to that point for a long while,  but he is 16.
We enjoy every day that he comes over to
stay with us.  He is also a writer and into
artwork,  so he enjoys hanging out with
Judy and I learning stuff,  plus he likes to
goof around with me on my old computer
watching funny Youtube gaming videos 🙂
Yep,  God has been very good to us and
we are very thankful.  Now I believe it is
time for me to begin my little journey back
through all that I’ve written here to see if
I can find a good word or phrase that I can
use for the title for today’s brand new poem.
So,  it’s away I go,  to that little place of my
recollection that I seem to always like to
call RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I may
have found a decent title just a few lines
back and now after checking I see that it
has not been used as of yet and so used it
shall be.  Away we go…

Every Day

Seconds,  minutes,
times details
bring in sight
our gains and fails.
Every day
is anew to see,
but you might just
see history.
Changes found
as time moves on
might but only
show what’s gone.
Every day
has its own cue
the times begin
for me and you.
Allow the times
to show the way
smiles from life of
every day.

There ya go.  I know,  it might not be all that,
but it’s what I came up with using that title 🙂
If you didn’t care for it,  then oh well hehehe.
If you liked it and it even helped you then that’s
great 🙂  Anyways,  I hope you enjoy my rambling.
I do tend to ramble, don’t I hehehe.  Let me see
if I can think of anything I might have forgotten
to tell you.  Hmm,  nope.  So I guess it’s time to
tell you what I tell you almost every week and
that is,  I wrote some more poems and haiku.
Yep,  10 more poems with an extra 2 and 3 of
the poems are Christmas poems.  I also wrote
22 more haiku for all of the haiku lovers out
there.  I hope you can find 1 or 2 of either or
both that you like.  Now I believe it’s time for
me to begin my search for that hardly elusive
off switch,  but not before I wish you a most
wonderful weekend or whatever’s left of it
and a truly blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  Now,  where
is that confounded off switch hiding at this
time????  Hmm,  I don’t believe our little
solar angel in the window is supposed to be
moving without sunshine.  OK,  so you can
quit trying to hide behind it now.  I see ya.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

Moment’s Embrace

Lost in a moment,
a timeless stage,
life can turn into
another times age.
Becoming segments
for eyesight to taste,
life begins waltzing,
moment’s embrace.
Times you remember
that came into view,
found as a story
now living in you.
Scenes as pictures
showing so well,
times you remember
for stories to tell.
Lost in a moment
can unlock dreams,
a moment’s embrace
of wonderful scenes.

Old Time Decor

Pictures we remember
hanging within sight
become as the decor,
remembered delight.
A picture portraying
an old time style
fruits of our labor
that time did compile.
Still scenes painted
to bring forth a time,
displaying moments
that dinnertime’s find.
A thought that of life
that’s seen evermore
is a painted picture
of old time decor.

Heart’s Desire

The simple sounds
of rolling tires
brings to life
so many desires.
An icy scene
is found to be
as a beating heart
of eternity.
Signs of times
of wondrous ways
the heart’s desire
for Christmas days.
A simple dream
that times bestow
is a heart’s desire
for Christmas snow.
A scenic view
of times that pass
is a heart’s desire
in window glass.

Eyes Of Winter

One great day
there was a sight,
a Christmas scene
so fair and bright.
A jolly snowman
big and round
with two doggies
surely found.
In this moment’s
Christmas view
the eyes of winter
show so true.
It’s as a story,
a wondrous find
the eyes of winter
within mind.
The season dances
in these days
as eyes of winter
give a gaze.

Winter’s Night

Snowflakes falling
on a winter’s night
displays a journey
a magical sight.
A Christmassy feel
in essence of style,
a scene comes alive
with snow to compile.
Wonderland makings
of a seasonal way,
a winter’s night
with so much to say.
Words as snowflakes
speaking in rhyme
of a winter’s night
that moments define.
Then in the distance
a house is seen
as snowflakes fall
like winter’s dream.
Beyond is a time
the night hides well
as a seasonal sight
like a Christmas noel.
Songs are remembered
as time passes on
as White Christmas
a seasonal song.
There in the darkness
is seen such a sight
as snowflakes fall
on a winter’s night.

Life Of Clouds

In our skies
might be a haze
or maybe clouds
of whites and grays.
Time might seem
to flutter by
as life of clouds
will float and fly.
With every glance
the sights we view
there is a place
in a sky of blue.
It might need time
to run its course
as life of clouds
presents its force.
A scene we see
might fill our eyes
with saddened tears
from stormy skies.
Yet a moment
might just arouse
past and present
life of clouds.

Waters Flowing

Thoughts as waters
bring in view
minutes wondered,
wished so true.
Poured as rivers
time moves on,
things envisioned
wished to dawn.
Waters flowing
shows a path,
now and then
from distant past.
Rocks and pebbles
guide the way
as the waters
swish and sway.
We’re as liquid,
times to see,
waters flowing
you and me.

Imagine The Best

Take a little venture
and imagine a time,
a place you desire
that lives in your mind.
Now take that venture
and bring it in view,
a moment of beauty
that lives within you.
Set this great moment
with extensions of truth,
a time you’ve envisioned,
even from your youth.
Now imagine a doorway
with a welcoming sign
that when it’s opened
is a field so divine.
Even a mountainscape
is distantly seen
in this little venture
that’s now but a dream.
Now look far beyond
the mountains in sight
and seek for a journey
within the daylight.
For there within the sky
some clouds might be,
found as a journey
so wondrous to see.
Ok, now take a breath
and breathe in the rest,
as you for a moment
imagine the best.

Remembrance

Life’s rolling hills
as scenes entwine
can be as memories
of then such a time.
Lifetimes at best
with scenes in frame
become as a story,
a time to attain.
Then in remembrance
found through a void
a place is found
that you had enjoyed.
Days that passed
that became dreams
then come to life
as certain scenes.
When in remembrance
a mere photograph
can then enlighten
the best of your past.

Signs Of Fall

Summer skies
become alive
as signs of fall
right then arrive.
Within a time
scenes display
the colors of
a magical way.
Leaves of yellow,
orange and brown
signs of the times
fall to the ground.
The scent is sweet
as marmalade,
the signs of fall,
so heavenly laid.
Colors changing
creating views,
signs of fall
with greatest hues.

Majestic Sky

Within a vision
of moments in time
the sky might seem
to pour like wine.
Blues of persuasion
so gentle and free,
the sky up above’s
a great sight to see.
A majestic rhythm
in a awesome array,
highlighting scenes
in a wonderful way.
Waters of the world
are pouring so fine
as life wide awake,
in a time so divine.
With life in it glory
as moments will fly,
time is highlighting
a majestic sky.

Passing Days

Walking in the wake
of a timeless day
our feet might seem
to be wanting to stray.
Judgment of a field
with all that we see,
there might be a time
that’s not best to be.
The passing moments
that come and go
might have some bumps
within to and fro.
A journey we’ve chosen
might have a few flaws
in the moments ahead
that break many laws.
They might seem only
as a field of time,
but have within them
a moments land mine.
So as you wander
through life and again
look for the potholes
that are filled with sin.
Seek for guidance
from someone true,
one that knows better
than of me or you.
We all have our limits
in all that we know
so let the passing days
to help you to grow.

Haiku
for Dec 2,  2017

Sincere emotions
can be confused as hatred
when it’s really love.

Long lines of people
might stumble over their feet
due to impatience.

Time has a doorway
that many walk quickly through
without first looking.

Threading a needle
with a frazzled piece of thread
can wear on your mind.

Illusions of life
might be the things we’re wanting
that might not be good.

Opening windows
to allow a breath of air
can also lose heat.

As an ocean wave
the waters of our lives flow
creating their view.

A flower’s journey
has beginnings and endings
which begin again.

We’re but a moment
that comes to life and passes
seeking for better.

Heaven and angels
await us when time has come
for us to move on.

God hands us journeys
that we might just fall short of,
but we still arrive.

Looking to the sky
you’ll see many clouds float by
that are fantasies.

Storms of a life time
within your own perception
might be the greatest.

Years will pass us by
leaving only our shadows
that others will see.

Lost in a whirlwind
your mind might see emptiness
that is really full.

Loneliness will grow
if life does not plant a seed
where it can blossom.

Frost of a morning
paints pictures in the distance
that glitter brightly.

Change brings mysteries
as a new door will open
to new directions.

With life there is death
that again produces life
as spirit is born.

A forest of thought
holds branches of conclusions
that time never knew.

Resting in a dream
could allow nightmares within
that can end your peace.

A sky’s images
can display random colors
as clouds will gather.
