ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been an off and on snowy passed few
days LOL.  Spring seems to be having a
little trouble getting in gear hehehe.  It’s
still white outside.  Yep,  you can go snow
blind just by looking outside LOL.  Today
the sun is shining bright and that makes it
even worse.  Last Monday we went and had
my PC glasses repaired.  It didn’t cost me
a cent thank God.  Also Monday we went
by DOC’s and ordered us a 100 gallons of
number 2 heating fluid and then we went
to Walmart and I bought a bottle of anti
gel for diesels and poured in our tank.  So
we have heating oil to last us to the end of
the winter that’s leftover.  Yep,  we have
leftover snow LOL.  Tons of it.  Friday we
went back to Walmart to buy a few needed
groceries.  Our next door neighbors finally
got their snowmobile running and they’ve
been riding it around in the field in front
of our house.  I took a few pictures and
videos LOL.  Our youngest grandson sent
me a message Saturday asking if he could
come and spend the weekend/night with us
and I said sure,  so Judy had Craft night
last night and Christians mom brought him
with her and Judy brought him home from
her sister’s house after she got done with
her crafts.  I recorded a few of our favorite
TV programs for us to watch when he got
here.  His mom came around 11 A.M. this
morning and picked him up.  So you see,
we are quite boring hehehe.  It snowed a
little bit off and on yesterday (Saturday)
Our temperatures though are leaving the
freezing mark as it gets warmer each day.
It looks like this week’s temperatures are
going to be in the upper 30’s and 40’s 🙂
So it looks like spring is giving a little tap
on our door.  We might finally see some
green grass in a week or so hehehe.  But
for now,  all we see is SNOW.   There’s
not much else to tell you.  Right now I’m
a still a little sleepy being I didn’t sleep
well.  LOL Of course I never sleep,  but
I slept even less well last night/early this
morning 🙂  That’s my life.  Sleepless in
New Limerick hehehe.  God has been
good to us.  We have our fair share of
problems,  but we survive.  Thank You
God for keeping Your mighty hands
over us and sending angels to look after
us.  So,  now I believe it’s time for me
to begin my little search back through
all that I’ve written here to see if I can
find a good word or phrase that I can
use for the title for today’s brand new
poem. So it’s away to that place of my
recollections that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  I believe I may
have found a decent title and now after
checking,  I see that it has not been used
as of yet,  so used it shall be today.  So
it’s away we go…

Freezing Mark

We often seek
a time of life,
a simple scene,
a common sight.
As we ponder
now and then
we might be
out on a limb.
Branches break
and cease the time,
a freezing mark
of moment’s mind.
We might be seen
in certain phases,
freezing marks
of timeless gazes.
Looking back
on where and when
to see how long
it’s really been.
A minute passes
only to show
the ways we went
and how we’d go.
But then sometimes
we might embark
upon own lives
freezing mark.

So there ya go.  I hope the poem makes a
little bit of sense to you LOL.  I had to do
a couple of rereads to make sure it made
sense to me LOL.  Judy just went and let
the boys back in.  Hehehe they just went
out a moment ago to go potty,  but Rocky
did his thing and was barking at the front
door saying he’s ready to come back in and
of course Benny came back in with him 🙂
So,  that’s about all I’ve got for ya.  There
isn’t much else to tell you except of course
what I tell you every week and that is,  I
wrote some more poems and haiku.  Yep,
10 more poems,  none extras,  but 3 of them
are Christmas poems and I also wrote 22
more haiku for all of the haiku lovers out
there.  I hope you can fine 1 or 2 of either
or both that you like.  Now I believe it’s
time for me to begin my search for that
hardly elusive off switch,  but not before
I wish you a wonderful weekend ,  or what’s
left of it and a truly blessings filled week.
Remember,  Jesus loves you and we do too.
OK,  now where can that ornery off switch
be hiding this week?????  Hmm,  where
could it be?  LOL I see ya you little varmint.
Hiding once again behind my camera huh!
Well you better try harder next time or I’m
gonna give ya a little switch to your switch 🙂
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky

Zen Stones

Peaceful essence
as time moves along
is as a moment
a beautiful song.
Zen stones layered
standing so true
can give us peace
a wonderful view.
All of your sadness
and all of your pain
can just drift away
giving life to sustain.
Life is a doorway
to seasonal bliss,
Zen stones layered
with a timeless kiss.
Maybe a painting
that times foretell,
Zen stones layered
are a living bell.
Ringing in blessings
peaceful acquired
showing us moments
timeless transpired.
Found as a breath
breathed with peace,
Zen stones layered
gives certain release.
Painted reflections
in waters of blue,
Zen stones layered
give new life to view.

True Colors

The lives we live
that times expose
might be just like
a blooming rose.
Soon to display
their true colors
how we so often
act like the others.
We need to be
what God created
a flower of life
not depreciated.
Show your worth
the best you can
as life gives way
for our fellow man.
Don’t belittle
the others you see
for their true colors
aren’t you and me.
We all have paths
our colors in time
so truly given
from God divine.
We’re as flowers
each day displays
times ones see
our will and ways.
So don’t try to be
just like the others
show your path
in your true colors.

A Moment’s Peace

Glows of seasons
shining true
colors glimmer
within view.
Autumn’s memoir
written by time,
a moment’s peace
it does define.
It might reframe
a photograph
a timeless scene
within the past.
A moment’s peace
is found to be
a sight of beauty
for eyes to see.
Scenes like Heaven
a perfect place
displays life
with a smiling face.
The season shines
with its release
giving essence
a moment’s peace.

Stairways

Walking,  running
up and down
the stairways phase
till we fall down.
In such a hurry
so many will run
seeking tomorrow,
seeking some fun.
Yet the stairways
that we travel on
might fall apart
and then be gone.
Use the stairways
that times display
as the tools
for another day.
Don’t just run
as fast as you can,
because your body
may not withstand.
Look at the path
your headed to
and see if it needs
a different view.
Take a breather
and then move on
up the stairways
short and long.
Often journeys
are less of need
on the stairways
moments lead.

Open Minded

A little stroll
of life and times
gives a chance
for open minds.
Scenes of life
become a view
wheels that roll
to old and new.
The passing days
of there and then
an open mind
remembers when.
The simple life
a little stroll
begins the path
of a daily goal.
Open minded
might unveil
the difference in
Heaven and Hell.
Look for lessons
in daily flair,
an open minded
breath of air.

Full Of Snow

Seasons footsteps
is a daily sight
sometimes snowflakes
that are oh so white.
Christmas settings
become the view
timeless portions
of old and anew.
A little kid’s wagon
that might not go,
because it is really
so full of snow.
Just like the times
we might perceive
all full of snow
may cause to grieve.
Yet as a blessing
a joyful delight
Christmas settings
can come into sight.
Just like a kid
with a moment’s sigh
all full of snow
might make you cry.
But as a memory,
of a distant a time
all full of snow
is the greatest design.
Scented moments
with a childlike glow
display the best of
a time full of snow.

Winter World

Pieces of Christmas
fit within place
found as a doorway
a moment in space.
Scenes of survival
with Christmas desire
become the essence of
life’s burning fire.
Maybe in the distance
some eyes looking on
may see you standing
as a magical song.
Sung as a moment
a minute passes by
this winter world finds
a time eye to eye.
Seasons of emotions
turn into flame
found within winter
Christmas in frame.
Just like a storybook
that children will read
within a winter world
time plants a seed.
This seed’s a snowflake
that falls from the sky
sent down as angels
that float and they fly.
Within the moments
of Christmas unfurled
life begins speaking of
a sweet winter world.

Passages Written

Passing as a moment
that minutes connect
time is but a statement
that many dissect.
Not seeing the beauty
of a seasons own sight
as passages written
within day and night.
Many see but only
a time to complain
as the windows of life
open up their domain.
Passages written as
a time to remember,
such as a snowy day
found in December.
The scenes that you see
as you’re driving along
can become blessings
a Christmastime song.
Don’t allow bitterness
to plant deep within
Seek for the beauty
true life to begin.
You can find peaceful
inside of your mind
if you will allow it
some time to unwind.
The passages written
as a thought or word
can become blessings
as the flight of a bird.

Sudden Dreams

A piece of night
with purple haze
turns a dream
into a phase.
Sudden dreams
of a unicorn
might be sights
a moment born.
Just like magic
it might appear
within dreams
we see so clear.
Sudden dreams
of hearts of gold
within stories
that someone told.
A seamless stage
of time’s delight
our sudden dreams
might then ignite.
Showing magical
wondrous scenes,
the sight of life
in sudden dreams.

Bridge Of Thought

Some walk across
this distant view,
a bridge of thought
from old to new.
But some may stand
and gaze around
to see the sights
and hear each sound.
The bridge of thought
is thought to be
but only a moment
of which to see,
but its existence
times behold
this wondrous bridge
of young and old.
It tells a story
for ones to hear
the bridge of thought
about yesteryear.
It gives a view
of a different gaze
this bridge of thought
in its wondrous ways.
We might not see
this bridge so true
and find within it
a distant view,
but it is alive
with views across,
this timeless scene
the bridge of thought.

Haiku
for Mar 24,  2018

Before and after
are parts of our existence
that fill up the void.

Amidst our choices
there are many directions
that we could end up.

Looking for flowers
in the midst of wintertime
might come up empty.

Today’s challenges
can become tomorrows growth
if we do it right.

A forest of dreams
might exist in a small place
deep within our mind.

Lost in a moment
the minutes can pass quickly
leaving holes in time.

As we look for peace,
we might encounter battles
that need to be fought.

Now might be a dream
that you think is happening
until you wake up.

Going in circles
brings us back to where we were,
needing direction.

The flight of a bird
is that of many feathers
joined in unison.

Beyond what we see
could be our own confusion
hiding deep within.

Stereotyping
puts your own ignorance at risk
of being exposed.

Our sought for moments
can become many regrets,
that burn like fire.

Changing a lightbulb
might be too hot to handle
if the light’s still on.

Searching for the truth
you might find only liars
that you thought you knew.

The view of windows
only shows what’s visible
and your perception.

The sight of a rose
shows the beginning of spring
and end of winter.

We are all united
with some invisible threads
through humanity.

Demeaning others
only shines the spotlight on you
and all your errors.

The dawn of a day
gives a chance to change our views
and learn better ways.

Time can be funny
as it will often trick us
into giving up.

A mere breath of life
can enhance your performance
if you breathe the truth.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

The month of March is working on its
last half now and only 2 more weeks of
it left.  We’ve gotten tons of snow,  but
that’s pretty much the norm every year 🙂
It’s still frigid up here.  Right now it is
21 F degrees at 2:30 PM and by early
Monday morning it’s supposed to be 5
degrees.  But it’s supposed to warm up
to 27 F degrees Monday LOL.  Though
it looks as though the rest of the week’s
in the 30’s,  so that’s not too bad.  We’re
running on fumes with heating oil and
could run out any day now.  Hopefully
though the temperatures aren’t so bad
we cannot get by with just our portable
radiator heaters 🙂  The only thing that
we’re worried about is our water pipes 🙂
We can stay warm with our lil radiator
heaters LOL.  Our neighbor had some
heating oil delivered to him Friday by
one of his buddies hehehe.  I reckon
that’s the pitfall of living up here.  It
cost a lot for heating oil.  Although if
we were still in Texas,  I would not be
able to do much because the heat would
kill me.  Plus I would miss out on all
of the beauty up here.  Photography is
one of my greatest passions along with
music and poetry.  Yep,  since we moved
up here it seems my writings have gone
and exploded into pictures LOL.  I do
though miss my friends and family in
Texas and thereabouts,  but life goes
on.  I wish to God I was able to drive
down every year to see everyone,  but
that’s just not conceivable.  Nope,  I
wish it were,  but I’ve gotta except the
reality of the situation.  Moving on 🙂
Next topic.  Judy just got up and the
boys were all excited when she strolled
in here with us.  The sun is shining a
bit.  That’s great,  because it will warm
up the house.  Even if it’s cold outside,
the sun can warm the house and that
will give our furnace a little break 🙂
We had a lot more snow dumped on us
last Tuesday and Wednesday.  About
20 inches or so.  I went outside to play
with the boys and do a couple videos
of me on my conga drums Tuesday.
The snow was coming down in sheets
as I played LOL.  Therefore the videos
were fairly short,  but people seemed
to like them none the less 🙂  Benny
and Rocky were romping in the snow
all around me.  Anyways the next day
Wednesday I went out to play with
the boys again and the neighbors kids
saw me and came running wanting me
to take their pictures as they played
in the snow.  I took a lot of pictures
and I have already used a few of them
for poetry pictures LOL.  Also that
day I had to trudge through the snow
to get to our satellite dish to brush the
snow off of it so we could watch TV
later.  I then walked out to check the
mail and did a little video of my walk
out to the mailbox.  After that I went
on a little picture taking walk down
the road to the river which is now just
a (riv) LOL.  There ain’t no (er) because
it’s frozen up,  but there are spots that
have melted and where there is a big
hole in the ice it shows that there is
about 2 foot of snow on the river LOL.
I took a few pictures of it.  I’ll put a
few of the pictures in my journal along
with alot of the other pictures I took 🙂
LOL,  I even did a few selfies of me
and one of the selfies is of me with my
conga drums hehehe.  I dug our car
out Friday so that if we needed to go
somewhere,  we could.  I was hoping
that the Vision Care clinic was opened.
I accidentally sat on my PC glasses  and
I was hoping they can repair the frames,
but it seems they are closed on Fridays,
so hopefully tomorrow (Monday) they
can repair my glasses.  I have a cheap
pair of PC glasses,  but I have to be
within one foot of my computer screen
for them to do me any good and that
is painstakingly hard on my old body.
Especially after me almost killing myself
digging our car out.  The snow was like
ice bricks.  It had melted a tad and then
refrozen creating something that our
snow blower could not blow LOL,  so
I had to use the snow shovel and toss
big chunks of ice and snow across the
driveway as I dug the car out and I’ll
tell ya what.  That did me in.  Thank
God I thought of getting our battery
operated snow shovel.  It managed to
dig through the stuff and lighten the
load for me a little bit,  but I still had
to hold it up and push it through LOL.
My body feels like manure right now 🙂
But the good thing is,  I got our car
freed from its tomb of ice HaHaHaHa.
I guess I should of gone out and dug
it out Thursday before the snow had
a chance to ice up LOL.  Oh well,  live
and learn.  I just didn’t think that one
day would make that much difference.
Yeppers,  it made a big difference LOL.
The boys enjoyed running and playing
while watching me digging our car out.
I played with them a bit afterwards 🙂
They begged Judy to let them come out
where I was hehehe.  Life up here has
it’s ups and downs,  but all in all it’s
not that bad.  I hated Greenville when
I lived there and always wanted to be
elsewhere, 🙂 but never in my wildest
dreams did I think of moving to Maine.
It has been a blessing as well as a bit
of a curse hehehe,  but I do enjoy the
snow and taking pictures of it as well
as the other seasons that come and go
with beauty.  God has been good to me.
He has been good to us.  Judy and I
have our fair share or troubles,  but
we have each other as well as these lil
4 legged boys.  Thank You God for all
that You have done for us and all that
You will do that we may not be aware
of.  Now I believe it’s time for me to
begin my little quest back through all
that I have written here to see if I can
find a good word or phrase that I can
use for the title for today’s brand new
poem.  So,  it’s away I go to that place
of my recollection that I always like
to call RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think
I may have found a decent title and
now after checking I see that it has not
been used as of yet,  so used it shall be.
Here goes…

All Excited

With ins and outs
of times we see
we might find parts
of history,
The times we’ve seen,
but have forgotten,
that may of been good
or may of been rotten.
Yet as a doorway
the time bestows
things we should see
as our heartbeat grows.
Get all excited
about life as it will
to find all the blessings
that did then fulfill.
Be thankful for life
with the good and bad
and get all excited
for the good you’ve had.
Allow the glimmers
of yesterdays ways
to be all excited
as time changes phase.
Look for the blessings
in now and then
and get all excited
let God enter in.

There ya go 🙂   I hope you liked the poem
and maybe even my rambling hehehe.  Yes
I know,  I do tend to drift from 1 topic to

you ought to be used to it hehehe.  I do it
every week 🙂  I wonder if I have forgotten
to tell you anything.  Hmm,  nope,  can’t
think of anything so I guess it’s time for me
to be telling you what I tell you every week
and that is,  I wrote some more poems and
haiku.  Yeppers,  I wrote  10 more poems
with 2 extras and there is 1 Christmas poem
in the midst of them.  Of course a few of
the other poems could be Christmas related,
but not literally about Christmas.  I also
wrote 22 more haiku for all of the haiku
lovers out there.  I hope you can fond 1 or
2 of either or both that you like.  Now I

filled week.  Remember,  Jesus loves you

is that ornery off switch trying to hide this
week?  Hmm,  I believe it’s gotten better
at hiding hehehe,  but not great.  I see ya

Ship At Sea

A fishing vessel
through the waves
seeks for portions
fishing phase.
A ship at sea
begins its course
as time displays
the currents force.
Seeking to catch
a daily wage
to pay the bills
of a living age.
A fishing vessel
is seen to be
the hearts of ones
like you and me.
We fish for life
in journeys waves
to try and make
the future days.
Though we might
find shallow ground
where we crash
in times astound.
Yet the seasons
won’t run dry
if we continue
to give a try.
Not letting time
to steal your gain
as minutes move
within each frame.
Look for the times
that surely breathe
that give the things
we really need.
Flow with waters
and grow beyond
as a ship at sea
fishes on and on.

Taken Aback

Finding a moment
that comes in view
as a scene or a time
with wondrous hue.
We might be found
a little off track,
but yet in a moment
be taken aback.
We often pass by
the seasons of time
and all the good views
we pay them no mind.
Scenes of a pathway
or a sight somewhere
might live within you
as a true breath of air.
So when thinking
is a little off track
search for the memories
and be taken aback.

Wintertime’s Scenes

Hearts as a flavor
become as a taste
scented with blessings
found in snowflakes.
Children laughing
and having a blast
wintertime’s scenes
that turn to the past.
Living as seconds
become as a view
wintertime’s scenes
will then bid adieu.
Yet as the seasons
are seen from afar
all of those memories
say here we are.
Wintertime’s scenes
are glimpses of love
found in snowflakes
that fell from above.
While children play
so many remember
this as a moment of
time’s burning ember.
Within the season
of wintertime’s scenes
life is a moments time
found in our dreams.
With children playing
in snow fluffy white
wintertime’s scenes
are a magical sight.

Kneeling In Snow

A child kneels down
with a little friend
a four footed pal
with love to extend.
Snowflakes falling
becomes their view
while kneeling in snow
with a whitish hue.
They share a moment
what time displays
as they’re together
with peaceful ways.
The minutes may pass
leaving only a time,
but it’s enlightened
as moments unwind.
We watch for a while
as time moves along
and then in a moment
the passage is gone.
Leaving only glimmers
of a time long ago
a child with a puppy
kneeling in snow.

Friends From Afar

We might look up
and not realize
there’s more to life
way up in the skies.
There’s life from afar
to surely gaze
and watch our lives
in wondering ways.
So many view them
as fictional sights
that so many see
in days and nights.
But from afar
ones might be true
often displayed
within our view.
Friends from afar
and other designs
watching us closely
with curious minds.
They might be trying
to see how we are
as they’re watching,
friends from afar.

Winter’s Christmas

Snowbound trees
with bending branches
displays winters
that time enhances.
Seen as a painting
or a mere photograph
is winter’s Christmas
as life’s glazed glass.
Blessings of flavors
scented with joy
as winter brings in
times to deploy.
Snowflakes of essence
are times that bestow
as winter’s Christmas
with moments to grow.
God sent from Heaven
this scene so divine
as a page so peaceful
a wondrous design.
A time to remember
that comes into frame
as winter’s Christmas
on life’s windowpane.

Seeker’s Mind

An icy picture,
a point in time
displays moments
a seeker’s mind.
Maybe a scene
of winter’s flair,
a seeker’s mind
finds fresh air.
Breathing deeply
a second flows,
a seeker’s mind
grows and grows.
Maybe snowflakes
of winter’s scenery
a seeker’s mind
find things to see.
As time’s counted
and life moves on
the seeker’s mind
is still going strong.
Searching for times
sometimes in space,
the seeker’s mind
will never waste.

Arrived

Beautiful scenes
remembered so well
time then displays
a moment to tell.
A story to share
as time passes by
that then arrived
as clouds in the sky.
Arrived as blessings
a moment of time
what you remember
a scene so divine.
Linked to season
that minutes concur
arrived is a session
for love to transfer.
Sweet tender minutes
that seconds display
arrived as passion
in a wonderful way.
Scented with beauty
that time brings alive
Heavenly ventures
a seasonal size.
Each little morsel
of all that’s displayed
shows all the beauty
that God has made.
All of the colors
of autumns own style
display the stages
that minutes compile.
Some as a doorway
to enter on through
then as a time frame
from old to anew.
Life is a pageant
of seasons contrived
with stages settings
of moments arrived.

Within A Gaze

Within a gaze
of summer’s mind
so timeless seen
are things to find.
A wondrous view
within a day
is found beyond
a sky of gray.
Clouds may form
to certain heights
and create some
wondrous sights.
Within a gaze
of summers scene
time can become
a wondrous dream.
Through the eyes
of the one who sees
time can become
as raging seas.
Yet with a thought
of moments mind
within a gaze
can change design.
The distant things
that come in sight
might be hills
of evenings light.
Depicted moments
of summer’s ways
live and breathe
within a gaze.

Evening Comes

Passing moments
become sights,
evening comes
into the nights.
Light is dimmer
as shadows grow,
evening comes
in winter’s snow.
Like a beacon
in distant hills
evening comes
as night fulfills.
Winter’s snow
is on the ground,
evening comes
to then be found.
Time’s a doorway
of seasons sight
evening comes
to say goodnight.

Inside Solitude

Now is an image
that brings into view
time with a breath
to give me and you.
Maybe in a bay
of time’s own release
inside solitude
will give some peace.
Found as a fraction
of minutes to spare
a moment of solitude
gives us fresh air.
Inside the moments
seconds can become
peace at its finest
as a morning sun.
Inside solitude
is a chance to grow
leaving the bitterness
you used to know.

Winter’s Mile

Sometimes a minute
becomes a mile
as a time of footsteps
of which we compile.
Life passes by us
as time moves along
and then winter’s mile
is there then and gone.
We so often only see
the bad of the view
instead of us looking
to see what is true.
The beauty of life
as snow paints it well
with faded old scenes
brought alive to excel.
A white snowy day
can most surely compile
and become a blessing
within winter’s mile.

Haiku
for Mar 17,  2018

As time moves onwards
life begins its journey’s path
to where it must go.

A life’s rocking chair
is that of a pendulum
that goes to and fro.

The nature of man
changes direction often
as lessons are learned.

Looking for answers
can be an endless journey
with many questions.

Inside of heartbeats
is the voice of decision
with choices to choose.

Looking for springtime
when winter is still in bloom
might be depressing.

Rainbows of a day
are as angels from Heaven
to show us blessings.

Lost in a moment
time can become a turnstile
with choices to make.

I life’s umbrella
protects us from many things,
but we will still get wet.

Seeking a flower
that has yet to of blossomed
might show only weeds.

The needs of a rose
are that of a good planting
and some nourishment.

Various people
will hide behind anything,
because they’re ashamed.

The shadows of life
are as echoes of time frames
that might be hidden.

Within a liar
holds the truth that will be known
as time marches on.

Living in a hole
not allowing others in
can create sadness.

Blessings of mistakes
show us lessons to grow from
that we might regret.

A page from a book
might hold some misconceptions
devoid the title.

Looking to the stars
you might see your reflection
in a moments mind.

Blessings from Heaven
can be speed bumps to hinder
and slow down our stride.

Weeds among flowers
might make themselves as flowers
so to stay alive.

Tomorrows journey
is often yesterdays mind
as ones put it off.

Seasons decisions
are as turnstiles of lifetimes
that change day to day.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

Winter is still with its grip upon us,  but
the temperature isn’t quite as cold as it
has been.  None the less we’re getting a bit
of snow.  We got over a foot a couple of
days ago and this week we’re expecting
8 to 14 inches with localized amounts up
to 20 inches of that wonderful white stuff.
LOL I do love the snow and love to watch
it snow.  I went out with the boys ever so
often and played with them in the snow 🙂
They love it when I come outside with them
and play.  I might one day in the snow if I
get the notion take my conga drums outside
and do a few conga music videos hehehe.
I’ve done a few snowy music videos in the
past.  Benny and Rocky were in the last
one I did.  They were romping all around
me in the snow.  I imagine they’ll be doing
the same if I do decide to do a video LOL.
It snowed a little bit today,  but the clouds
have passed.  The sun is shining brightly
at the moment although some clouds are
still crossing our path and snowing from
time to time hehehe.  I dug our car out
Friday and moved it so that the guy that
plows our driveway can finish it,  but he
hasn’t been back.  Of course Thursday we
managed to beat the storm and go to town
and we bought a few groceries.  We made it
home just in time as it seemed the bottom
dropped out of the clouds and it started
snowing profusely.  LOL that’s life up here.
Ya gotta do stuff when you are able and
not procrastinate because ya might not be
able to get of your driveway HaHaHaHa.
I do love our snow blower,  but the other
day I had to use the shovel because all of
the snow that the snow plow plowed up in
back of our car was packed and our snow
blower don’t do packed snow.  I ended up
having an asthma attack and almost didn’t
make it in the house to grab my respirator,
but I did thank God.  I told Judy if I ever
see that guy,  I’m going to give him an little
talken to.  He piled up 8 foot of snow right
behind our car and it almost got the best
of me clearing a little at a time,  but I got
it done and moved our car.  Now if he does
that again,  I’m going to be kicking me some
butt LOL.  Shoveling packed snow is almost
like shoveling hard dried clay with a snow
shovel yet and if you have ever shoveled
dried clay,  you know,  it’s not no easy task.
It most surely gave me a work out LOL 🙂
My old body is sore as hell now though,
but then it was sore before hehehe,  just
not quite as sore 🙂  LOL I was able to use
the snow blower after I broke the compacted
snow into lesser and it seems the boys love
to have snow blown on them,  being it
seems that every direction I was going with
the snow blower they were right there just
smiling waiting for the snow to be blown
on them LOL.  So silly!  Yeppers,  we’ve
got us some snow dogs.  I took quite a few
pictures of them and a video the other day
when we were outside playing.  I love to
watch the boys playing in the snow.  I’m
sure we’ll have a bit more play time in that
cold white stuff before winter gets done 🙂
Snow has a way of making things to look
beautiful,  such as an old house or barn.
Even the most bland landscapes become
artwork with snow upon them.  Yes I do
love snow.  I also love it when flowers and
trees begin blooming,  but I do not like
hot weather which is 1 thing that I really
love about being up here.  We don’t have
near the hot temperatures that Texas has.
Thank You God for giving me these many
blessings.  Thank You for watching over
Judy and I as well as our boys.  We are
most grateful for all that You have done
and will do.  Now I believe it’s time for
me to begin my little quest back through
all that I have written here to see if I can
find a good word or phrase that I can use
for the title for today’s brand new poem.
I think I found a decent poem not too far
from the beginning of all of my rambling
and now after checking I see that it has
not been used as of yet,  so used it shall be.
Here goes…

Decide To Do

Make a decision
to move or not
maybe a little
or maybe a lot.
Don’t just say it
do what you can
make life better
for your fellow man.
Make a decision
to do things today
and not just sit there
and not just say.
Start some movement
making a pace
times your needing
not then to waste.
For surely you can
be a better you
if you seek good
and decide to do.

There ya go.  LOL I know it’s a simple
poem,  but it said what was on my mind
at the moment.  Too many people are
busy saying what they will do instead of
putting into action any good they said
that they would do.  Also,  putting off
things that you can do today only makes
it possible for things to not ever get done.
Something could happen tomorrow or
whatever that could prevent you from
ever doing what you should of done on
the day is was needing done.  I’m not
big on procrastination.  LOL my old
conscience won’t let me.  That tends to
drive me crazy from time to time,  but
it gets things done LOL.  Anyways,  I
have been busy working on book 7 and
I am getting closer and closer to getting
it done to where I can begin formatting
it and all for the book.  So I guess it’s
time for me to be telling you what I tell
you every week and that is,  I wrote
some more poems and haiku.  Yeppers,
there’s 10 more poems with 2 extras and
2 of them are sort of Christmassy.  Also
I wrote 22 more haiku for all the haiku
lovers out there.  Now I believe it’s time
for me to begin my search for that hardly
elusive off switch,  but not before I wish
you a wonderful weekend or whatever’s
left of it and a truly blessings filled week.
Remember,  Jesus loves you and we do too.
Ok,  where are ya hiding you ornery little
off switch?  LOL,  there ya are hehehehe.
I see ya hanging onto the solar powered
hula girl in the window Hahaha.  But then
she ain’t doing much dancing now that
evening is upon us.  But I bet you were
getting the ride of your life while the sun
was shining hehehe.  We’ve got a load of
solar powered items in our window.  1 of
them is a turtle in a hammock which swings
back and forth when the sun shines LOL.
Anyways,  Better luck next week.  Maybe
find a place to hide to where you can be
not seen at the very first glance hehehehe.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky

Shimmering Sunset

Cascading fractions
of an evenings sight
displays a journey
to the dark of night.
Painted by minutes
of moments to gaze
a shimmering view
is a wondrous phase.
Often it’s fading
from yellow to black
as it gives stories
words found intact.
Yet many evenings
are seen displayed
shimmering beauty
as skies lemonade.
It can enlighten us
as it grows beyond
sunset of evening
seeking for dawn.
Time is a portrait
as a face in the sky
painted up above
by The One Adonai.
Seasons are displayed
as paintings in time
shimmering beauty
that’s oh so divine.
It’s but a moment
that I can’t forget
a blessing from God
a shimmering sunset.

Season’s Sky

Throughout the day
the sight may change
with a season’s sky
that days rearrange.
It changes places
with day and night
as it goes onwards
to create each sight.
The season’s sky
might seem as gray,
but it is changing
from day to day.
With each formation
that comes and goes
the season’s sky
most surely grows.
Clouds of beauty
might be the seeds
to bring us rain
the farmer needs.
Throughout each day
the sights of time
might come alive
within our mind.
Beginning journeys
that then cascade
which look just like
a day’s parade.
Seeming timeless
as clouds float by
we might perceive
a season’s sky.

Embrace The View

Allow the minutes
time to pass
and don’t hurry
your shadow’s cast.
Embrace the view
that time bestows
and allow it
to ease your woes.
Find the beauty
within each scene
and then partake
into a dream.
Beyond the sadness
is smiles of life
that views can give
to ease your strife.
Embrace the view
that time unfolds
and find the peace
that then beholds.
Look beyond now
and see a new day
the beauty within
such a magical way.
Allow your mind
to find some peace
that time gives way
to then unleash.
Look on beyond
the sadness of time
and embrace the view
of beauty you find.

Christmas Unfolds

Counting snow
as flakes of time
minutes pass
to Christmas mind.
Just like a journey
the flakes will flow
landing softly
Christmas snow.
Seasons beginnings
displays views.
Christmas unfolds
to wonderful hues.
As a page of life
in a book of white
Christmas can be
a wonderful sight.
It might be seen
as timeless strolls
found within as
Christmas unfolds.

Rushing Waters

Our life is a journal
that’s written in style
words of a doorway
time frames compile.
Splashing out scenes
as substantial views
painted as a picture
that times interfuse.
As rushing waters
of a moment’s detail
our lives are gathered
as a sequence in sail.
While often watching
the past come and go
we’re rushing waters
that continually flow.
Then just like a river
our lives often find
the scenes that begin
and stay on our mind.
Within our turnstiles
we might find a way
through rushing waters
to a brand new day.

Blissful Scenes

Flowers bloom
as time moves on
blissful scenes
are there and gone.
Life’s encountered
scented styles
blissful scenes
as moments smiles.
Through a door
or window view
blissful scenes
are thereunto.
As living legends
of their own way
blissful scenes
are on display.
We so often miss
the days parade
blissful scenes
that God has made.
So take a look
and see the sights
blissful scenes
in days and nights.

Life Awakens

Searching skyward
seeking views
life awakens
in the news.
Evenings shadows
come and go
life awakens
with a show.
Time becomes as
scenic styles
life awakens
within miles.
Morning dewdrops
become scenes
life awakens
fields and streams.
The passing clouds
times transcend
life awakens
with a friend.
Views as blessings
scented sweet
life awakens
times to meet.
A moment echoes
what we find
life awakens
in our mind.
Through beginnings
time is found
life awakens

Blue Of Life

Waters that ripple,
times song and dance
is the blue of life
a moment’s romance.
Within the waters
lives life down below
thriving as nature
finds ways to grow.
In the blue of life
is a certain photograph
taken with eyesight
to remember the past.
We have a journey
that time has displayed
filled full of blessings
for moments to wade.
Peaceful arrivals
of a certain phase
is the blue of life
with so much to gaze.
Depicting scenes
of a colorful hue
gives the blue of life
a much better view.
Scented with waters
of a lake or a pond
is that of a dream
that shall continue on.
Thriving as heartbeats
weaving through time
is the blue of life
and its own design.

Windows Of Winter

Found are footprints
footsteps have made
windows of winter
so heavenly laid.
Scenes within scenes
of seasons decor
found are the flavors
of times to explore.
Windows of winter
will open real wide
allowing the pages
of time right inside.
Memories treadmill
are minutes to cast
windows of winter
winds blowing fast.
Life’s as a doorway
to another place
windows of winter
a white snowy taste.
Breathing of a time
that surely arrived
windows of winter
are moments derived.
Deduced as a scene
that life brought upon
windows of winter
are dusk unto dawn.
God provides life
as snow flakes of love
windows of winter
from Heaven above.

Tasting Snowflakes

Life of Christmas
snow of dreams
tasting snowflakes
fills the scenes.
Looking upwards
catching them all
tasting snowflakes
as they fall.
Heavenly ventures
a wonderful time
tasting snowflakes
all that you find.
Each is a morsel
Christmas delight
tasting snowflakes
so winter white.
It is a picture
a painting of style
tasting snowflakes
filled with a smile.
Then is a memoir
that life partakes
time as a doorway
tasting snowflakes.

Blue Horizon

Time might crash
onto your shore
and display
life’s inner core.
Yet the visions
that you see
might be glimmers
of history.
You might then only
see what’s passed
the times that came
but went too fast.
A blue horizon
seasons shine
might be imprints
in your mind.
Along with oceans
own decor
you might find
a scenic shore.
A time for thriving
a time for pain
a time for living
life to attain.
For as the minutes
of then and now
life’s a timepiece
we can endow.
Taking in lessons
to learn one day
a blue horizon
shows the way.

Immersion

Night’s own thoughts
become alive
immersed in clouds
that then arrive.
Creating the scenes
of white and black
within full immersion
right there and back.
Time is then counted
as seconds display
the immersed of life
within its own way.
Dreams then procure
of a moment in time
found in the darkness
within the mind.
Immersion envelops
as minutes unite
while moments display
a bit of moonlight.
Time is the counter
that numbers don’t see
counted as seconds
above you and me.
Often we may wonder
how the sky bestows
clouds of such beauty
in day and night shows.
In full immersion
the skylight creates
becoming as a painting
that oh so elates.

Haiku
for Mar 10,  2018

Amidst a journey
there might be many turnstiles
as time goes its way.

Within ones breathing
is a breath that might give more
within our struggles.

Doors to tomorrow
might look like yesterdays path,
but not quite the same.

Young hearts of lifetimes
may hold the answers we need
to help us to grow.

Many will deceive
even if the truth is clear,
for it is their way.

Shadows of ourselves
are often people we see
that follow our ways.

Beyond yesterday
lives hope for our tomorrows
if we learned from it.

Inside someone’s thoughts
might live worlds of misery
that we do not see.

Painted as a style
life can become as a dream
that can come alive.

Artwork of the eyes
paints a painting in the mind
that hands can make real.

Walking back and forth
only makes ruts in the floor
without any gain.

Mornings of dewdrops
help flowers blossom and bloom
as springtime’s begun.

The length of a day
often looks longer at times
with nothing to do.

Looking for answers
might find you with more questions
about the answers.

In search of true love
many will step into pain
as lessons are learned.

Snowflakes of winter
are as heartbeats from Heaven
that cover our sins.

A breath of peaceful
can evolve and create life
of a better view.

Each scene that we see
has its very own beauty
that we may not see.

Various questions
lead to unending answers
that might change in time.

Closed fist of anger
sets up a stage of regret
that needs not happen.

Throughout daily lives
there might be much confusion
that is merely life.

Losing your temper
could find you with apologies
that no one will hear.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been another mellow passed week
around the Pearce’s Place.  Yep,  not
much has gone on around this place.
The snow is slowly but surely melting,
but it seems we’re expecting more snow
this week.  So,  onwards goes winter 🙂
Wednesday Judy had to go get a blood
test and while we were in town we bought
some Dunkin donuts 🙂  It snowed a bit
Thursday.  Judy had an appointment
with her doctor Friday.  So that’s about
how our week went LOL.  Judy has been
doing a bit of rearranging in the house.
It’s looking a lot better now.   Yeppers,
we live a real exciting life 🙂  LOL not.
There’s not much going on around here.
I’ve been busy writing as always,  and
Judy has done some painting off and on.
Being honest.  I love snow,  but I hate
it when it turns to slush,  especially when
the snowbanks turn dirty due to all of
the dirt they through on the roads to
make them drivable and then when they
plow they push that dirty snow to the
side of the road.  Oh well,  there’s good
with the bad.  The fresh fallen snow is
the best.  It always looks so pretty and
exhilarating.  There is 1 great big reason
I am ready for winter to end and that
is the price of heating oil.  It costs us a
fortune to stay warm,  but then I hate
hot weather LOL.  I don’t mind it when
it is in the 60’s and 70’s,  but anything
above that is too hot for me.  We have
a portable AC unit,  but I hate to have
to use it being it runs up our light bill.
LOL see,  there’s a good and bad with
every season hehehe.  I might take my
conga drums outside this week and do
a few videos and maybe even while it’s
snowing LOL.  I’ve done a few videos
like that in the past 🙂  Judy must be up.
The boys are dancing around the closed
door.  I let her sleep while I came in here
to get a start on my journal.  Yep,  I can
hear movement from the bedroom LOL.
She’ll be in here in a little bit.  LOL the
boys are just dancing a jig at the door.
I’m not letting them in the bedroom 🙂
They’ll pounce on her and scratch her,
so I’ll give her time to get dressed before
I let the boys out of here LOL.  Then
I might fix us some breakfast.  Judy
just walked in.  She said she took her
medicine a little while ago so I’ll fix us
something to eat in about 30 minutes
or so.  She has to wait an hour after
she takes her medicine before she can
eat.  I’m not sure what to make us for
breakfast,  but I’m sure I’ll think of
something 🙂  In the mean time,  it’s on
with my rambling hehehe.  The boys
are now lying down in their beds.  OK,
Benny is lying down in his bed,  but
Rocky is lying down in the floor right
behind Judy.  They love their mom 🙂
God has been good to us.  We have
been blessed with a happy life and a
home to live in.  Judy and I have
each other and these 2 boys of ours
keep us smiling.  Thank You God,
for all that You have done for us and
all that You do for us daily as time
marches on.  Now I believe it’s time
for me to be looking back on all that
I’ve written here to see if I can find
a good word or phrase that I can use
for the title for today’s brand new
poem.  So,  it’s away I go to that
place of my recollection that I always
like to call RECOLLECT VILLE 🙂
I think I found a fairly decent title
about a 3rd of the way back in my
rambling LOL.  Now to see if I can
do anything with it.  Here goes…

I’m Not Sure

We often say
we know the path,
but in time
it’s just the past.
The future course
that we now see
might belong
in history.
We might be seen
with will and way
seeking for
another day,
but we’re really
seeking times
that we remember
in our minds.
We need to look
to see the path
and with caution
raise our mast.
Yet I’m not sure
can always be
the way life works
in things you see.
We’re so often
with times allure
headed for what
I’m not sure.

LOL there ya go.  Yes I know it’s a bit
on the silly side,  but what do ya expect?
I’m quite silly at times hehehe.  Just ask
Judy LOL.  I think it’s almost time for
me to fix Judy and I some breakfast,  so
I reckon I need to be telling you what I
tell you every week and that is I wrote
some more poems and haiku.  Yeppers,
I wrote 10 more poems with 2 extras 🙂
1 of them is sort of Christmassy hehehe.
Also I wrote 22 more haiku for all of the
haiku lovers out there.  I hope you can
find 1 or 2 of either or both that you like.
Now,  with that said I reckon I need to
begin my search for that hardly elusive
off switch,  but not before I wish you
a most wonderful weekend or whatever
is left of it and a truly blessings filled
week.  Remember,  Jesus loves you and
we do too.  Now,  where can that silly
off switch be hiding this week?  Hmm,
looking high and low.  LOL I see ya
hanging from our lil cheap chandelier
with 1 bulb hehehe.  Not much to hang
onto is there and I bet it’s a tad warm.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky

Reach Out

Reach for the stars
and seek for a sight
a scene so complete
in dark of the night.
Find you a dream
in a skylight quest
and hold it tightly
within your chest.
Keep it as a rhythm,
a heartbeat of gold
as you reach out
for times to unfold.
Allow the journey
a time looking back
as a scene in a scene
that fades to black.
Find then a dream
within your mind
and let it awaken
a journey in time.
A quest for the stars
and all there about,
seek it with passion
as you reach out.

Gazing

Behold a life
within another
that then extends
a little further.
Seeds of source
which we perceive
as we’re gazing
within a weave.
Light is gathered
as times portray
scenes we see
that blow away.
Gazing at life
as it reaches out
giving a notion of
what it’s about.
Maybe a weed
of then and gone
showing itself
as life moves on.
It is but a time
and place we see
while we’re gazing
at times history.
A seed of seasons
that once entailed
an amazing life
that time propelled.
We are the seeds
to blossom so true
and then fade away
for another view.

Afterimage

Evenings past
relives a time
a drive of life
that minutes find.
Wheels will roll
onto a path
a road of time
of shadows cast.
An afterimage
that times compare
with passageways
from here to there.
It is recorded
just like the sun
an afterimage
then and done.
We might dream
of other days
as we travel
different ways.
Rearview mirrors
look within
all the places
we have been.
An afterimage
is reflected
with our thoughts
a bit dissected.
For as we roll
on down the road
an afterimage
does unload.
Filled with wonder
times we pass
an afterimage
does not last.
As the seasons
pass us by
an afterimage
says goodbye.

Prepare To Fish

When life is gray
with ocean’s roar
prepare to fish
on a rocky shore.
Allow yourself
a time to breathe
within the waves,
of life you see.
Don’t let the past
to hold you back,
for if you do
you’ll get off track.
Prepare to fish
as waves roll in
and time moves on
and back again.
Don’t just sit
with want and wish,
bait your hook
and prepare to fish.

Cactus

Throughout time
we might conceive
a choice to make
to stay or leave.
We might just find
a budding sight
yet with thorns
from left to right.
For the moment
you might enjoy,
but then in time
the thorns deploy.
Just like cactus
in mornings dew
what you choose
might stick on you.
Leaving stabbing
times of pain
the cactus might
drive you insane.

The Day Begins

Winter’s still thriving
as white snow glows
in the day’s beginnings
right after it snows.
Seasonal sunshine
becomes a photograph
as the day begins
the same as the past.
Life is of merriment
as scenes come in view
streaming of sunshine
from a deep sky of blue.
Thinking of Christmas
and the sounds I’d hear
remind me of blessings
of year after year.
For as the day begins
it displays its design,
a moment so magical
that stays on my mind.

Pure Bliss

As life moves on
it gives a view
the sight of things
of old and new.
The minutes pass
to bring within
a moments mind
of way back when.
It is pure bliss
that comes to be
as I’m recalling
a sight to see.
A sweet little child
comes to play
with our two dogs
one springtime day.
Sharing the love
of a seasonal kiss
is a day of April
that was pure bliss.

Inside The Mind

Scenes of beauty
and scenes of peace
deliver a message
of moments release.
Inside the mind
is a personal place,
seasons recorded
smiles on your face.
Within memories
can live a scene
inside the mind
that is now a dream.
It might be a photo
or a song you hear
unleashing life
for times to appear.
Inside the mind
can be such a sight
painted heartbeats
that you delight.
The moment may be
a time you let go
that once was hurry,
but now is real slow.
Within the segments
of the inner thoughts
might live a time
you thought you lost.
But it’s still living
as a wonderful time
a time you remember
inside the mind.

Beneath The Clouds

Places and scenes
come into view
beneath the clouds
and sky of blue.
Time’s a doorway
that comes to play
as it’s opened
in its own way.
Beneath the clouds
shows many things
timeless morsels
that winter brings.
Maybe snowflakes
upon the ground
and some horses
a moment found.
Beneath the clouds
is such a sight
a timeless moment
with snow of white.
This is a memory
of a story told
and picture taken
of times of old.
The minutes gather
to then that day
to paint a story
a wondrous way.
A scenic moment
that comes in view
beneath the clouds
and sky of blue.

Peace Is Found

Heavens blessings
finds a place
points in time
for our embrace.
God’s Own glory
turns a page
a time and place
for center stage.
Journeys trodden
leaves a mark
future paths
that ones embark.
Through a ripple
waves delight
peace is found in
day and night.
Let not doorways
swinging wild
to grow problems
time’s compiled
Don’t go rampant
with your views
swinging fist
at daily news.
Let God’s love
to fill your heart
giving peaceful
place to start.
Peace is found
within a sight
as you breathe in
Heaven’s light.

Seascape Stroll

Leaving footprints
on the beach
time’s unfolding
life to teach.
Journey’s forward
becomes days
tides of rhythms
within phase.
A seascape stroll
to never end
becomes memoirs
times transcend.
Heaven’s blessings
found beside
the ocean’s waves
that times confide.
Bringing forth
a wondrous goal.
Heaven is a
seascape stroll.

Little Things

Through the years
we might lose sight
of little things
that times delight.
A moment’s time
that now is gone
with little things
of another dawn.
We might become
a hurried few
as little things
escape our view.
Look beyond
the larger sight
and see the things
of brighter light.
Through the years
you might forget
the times of life
with lesser debt.
For God can create
wondrous scenes
much greater from
the little things.

Haiku
for Mar 3,  2018

Inside of the mind
holds ingredients for thought
that many never use.

Often a person
will hide their face from others
because of their looks.

Judging ones footprints
can be a misread story
as the footsteps changed.

Time is but a scene
that encompasses features
that change with a breath.

Looking out windows
you might see another path
that you think you want.

A flower in want
looks for raindrops in the clouds
then hopes for sunshine.

Many trials of life
are as teachers through struggles
that make us stronger.

When lost in a crowd
you might feel so very small,
but you are a seed.

Life can be a maze
as it turns and twist with time,
but there is reason.

Turbulent waters
bring destiny to a rock
that weathers the stride.

Various journeys
will end in a few dead ends
that head to nowhere.

Thinking you are less
only gravitates to lies,
for we are all more.

Everything we see
has reason for being there,
but maybe not good.

Disasters in life
are as untimely journeys
that could be blessings.

Lost in a whirlwind
you might see your reflections
as they spin around.

The motto of time
is to continue counting
until time is up.

Breathing in a smile
can enhance your own lifestyle
so breathe in real deep.

A single snowflake
holds a timely perspective
on mounds that gather.

Today is the day
to cut loose all your baggage
and find tomorrow.

Deceiving yourself
can seem as impossible,
but many do it.

Between now and then
there is a mere perspective
that gets lost within.

Now is a moment
that needs us to understand
for it has reasons.
