If Not

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been a wild week the last few days as we
have been attempting to potty train Rocky LOL.
We’re slowly but surely making progress,  plus
Benny wasn’t too accepting of Rocky,  but for
the first time this morning,   they were sitting
together on the top step waiting for me to let
them back in.  I had let them both out to go to
the bathroom and it looks like Rocky might of
finally got it.  Yesterday when I let him out to
go potty,  he never left the top step and that’s
where he went potty hehehe.  This morning I
went out our back door and snuck around to
see if that is what he did today and if so I was
going to use the water hose and wash it off
and him if he got it on his feet,  but him and
Benny were sitting side by side waiting for
me to let them in.  I left them outside for two
hours.  Also,  Rocky had never been able to
manipulate the steps going down.  He could
go up,  but not down LOL.  Yet,  this time
when they saw me,  they both came running
down the steps together with smiling faces
jumping up wanting me to pet them hehehe.
I went up the steps to let them in,  but I must
of locked the door,  so I had to go around to
the back door to go in and open the front
door.  They both chased me around to the
back and when I opened the door they both
ran in side by side and wanted to give mom
a good morning kiss hehehe.  So,  it looks
like we might of finally made some headway.
I have Milo’s ashes in the living room on
the TV.  We’re going to buy an urn with his
name on it and put his ashes in it.  Right
now they’re in a box in a bag with his name
on it that the vet put them in.  I often go in
the living room and talk to him.  He’s still
part of our household.  LOL Rocky is in
his bed in the floor looking up at me with
his little toothy grin 🙂  Yep,  the Pearce’s
Place has gone to the dogs with us asking
ever so often “Who Let The Dogs Out”.
Oh yea,  it looks like my daughter Jamye
and her daughter Sami will be coming up
for Christmas.  She will be bringing her
boyfriend and his son.  She said she has
bought the tickets already.  I sure hope
nothing happens that will prevent her
from coming.  Judy and I are excited,  but
it means that we need to get back started
cleaning out our spare room hehehe.  It’s
a tad cluttered,  but we have about five
months,  so it’ll get done.  I don’t think she
realizes that we start getting snow early
in November hehehe.  I told Jamye that she
might get to see a white Christmas,  which
is more like a will see a white Christmas.
We’ve had a white Christmas every year
since we moved up in December of 2007.
I was going back and looking at all of my
pictures through the years of Christmas
snow and each year it has been white as
can be hehehe.  It’ll be a first for her.  She
might of seen a little snow for Christmas
in Texas,  but nothing like what we get 🙂
Not to worry about the roads.  Our road
crews up here take care of business and
keep the roads driveable.  There might be
a few times that the road crew has to wait
for the snow to slack off a bit due to the
lack of visibility,  but they get right on it
after it has slacked off.  They even from
time to time come in and throw dirt in our
driveway when there is ice on it.  That’s
nice of them.  Our landlord does pretty
good keeping our driveway plowed.  He
will sometimes hire someone when his
plow is broken down.  He’s surely not
the greatest landlord,  but I have seen
much worse.  He’s a nice guy.  He often
gives us something for Christmas.  Judy
and I love living out here away from the
city life.  It’s peaceful and I can play my
conga drums whenever I want to hehehe.
I’m in love with the scenery.  I never get
tired of taking pictures of it.  Judy and
I will ever so often take a picture taking
drive.  It looks like though I might have
to buy me a new camera next month.  My
old camera is falling apart.  Judy bought
this camera for me back in 2004 and it’s
taken tons of great pictures,  but it has
seen its better days.  Right now it’s held
together with tape LOL.  Each time I
take the camera card out to save to my
PC and Judy’s I am wondering if I will
be able to get it taped back and not lose
the piece that is needed for the camera
to work hehehe.  God takes good care
of us and I’m sure He won’t let me down.
We don’t have much,  but we are happy.
These little boys running and playing in
the house brings joy to our hearts.  Judy
and I enjoy watching our favorite TV
programs together.  She’s gotten back
to writing her book.  She had paused for
a bit due to the loss of our beloved Milo,
but she has started writing again.  She
told me last night that she is going to
send me the first chapter so I can get
started proofreading it.  She proofreads
my poetry with me most of the time. It’s
a God thing that her and I enjoy much
of the same things.  Jesus lives within
our hearts and in our home.  Does He
live with you?  If not,  why not take Him
into your heart today and be filled with
His blessings.  Yes,  things will go wrong.
Milo had to be put to sleep,  but he isn’t
gone from our hearts.  He is well now up
in Heaven waiting for us to join him when
our time comes to be to leave these old
worn out bodies to be made anew.  Life
is a mystery with good and bad that is
found day to day.  It’s with the bad that
we are more grateful for the good and
filled with joy.  Without the bad times
we would be bored with the good and
become stagnate.  Welcome Jesus into
your heart today and let Him help you
with the bad times and be joyful in the
good times.  Now I believe it’s time for
me to begin my quest back through all
that I’ve written here to see if I can find
a good word or phrase that I can use for
the title of today’s brand new poem.  So
it’s away I go to that little place of my
recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  It looks like I
may have found a decent title just a little
ways back in my rambling and now after
checking I see that I have not used it as
of yet,  but used it shall be today.  Enjoy.

If Not

When you’re with worry
and found in much pain
God can show blessings
to be of your gain.
If not for troubles
and problems galore,
time might evade us
where blessings are more.
If not for road blocks
that come in our way
we might continue to
seek the wrong day.
Sometimes a turnstile
will open just right
and then be found with
God’s Bright Shining Light.
Yet often doorways
will seem to be good,
but not be the right thing
of which that you should.
If not for those times
of right or wrong styles
we might get bored with
our God given whiles.

OK,  there ya go.  I hope that made at least
a little sense to ya.  Also I hope you enjoyed
my rambling.  LOL,  I know I tend to talk
more about the boys,  but we love them so
much.  Hehehe Rocky has rolled over on his
back and sleeping with his paws in the air.
Sooooo cute!  Benny is in the living room
at his post upon one of the recliners.  He’s
our little guard dog/doorbell.  I just wish he
would not bark every time he hears our
neighbors across the way LOL,  but he is
a dog even if we consider him our lil boy 🙂
So,  what else is there to share with you
that I have yet to do????  I can’t think of
anything,  so I reckon it’s time for me to
be telling you what I tell you every week
and that is,  I wrote some more poems
and haiku.  Yep,  10 more poems with 1
of them being a Christmas poem hehehe.
Also I once again wrote 22 haiku for all
of the haiku lovers out there.  I hope you
can find 1 or 2 of either of both that you
like.  Now I believe it’s time for me to be
searching for that not so elusive off switch,
but not before I wish you a most joyful
weekend or what ever is left of it and a
truly blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  Now,
to find that dad gum off switch.  LOL
I see ya you silly thing.  When are you
going to start looking for new places to
hide?  You’ve hidden behind the curtains
already once or twice hehehe.  So I guess
I got ya,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Milo
and soon to be Rocky Pearce

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Stepping Stones

Each step we make
brings paths to find
some seconds found
from time to time.
Those stepping stones
might find some bumps
where our problems
took some dumps.
Each days journey
brings to view
some stepping stones
for us to do.
Step after step
we walk and learn
from stepping stones
that times discern,
Often doorways
of different tones
are our lessons
stepping stones.

As Seconds Turn

The moments find
a minute found
as seconds turn
with sight and sound.
Things encountered
we discern
become lessons
as seconds turn.
A scene,  a sign
stuck in our head
might then become
a moment of dread.
As seconds turn
and days pass by
we might then find
a question of why.
It’s with the moments
that we recognize
that we will often
see truth and lies.
For as seconds turn
each day is complete
left with our wantings
and needs to accrete.

Within A Dream

There’s a place
where fantasies
will come alive
as raging seas.
Within a dream
a time can brew
and be something
you wish to do.
This fine place
where joy is found
can turn nasty
time around.
Within a dream
of overuse
a nightmare can
become set loose.
For those dreams
need find what’s true
and learn what’s best
for you to do.

Lines Of A Tree

A forest of trees
displays certain sights
within the ages
of each tree of heights.
Some standing firmly
so high to explore
and some that are growing
just like times before.
The lines of a tree
tell its age old or young
while also displaying
when they had begun.
A tree cutters ax
might fall one so big
exposing the lines
when found in their rig.
The trees give oxygen
for you and for me,
so why not take care
of the lines on a tree.
We need their beauty
and green leaves to grow
to help us always
with our ebb and flow.

Looking For Signs

While within summer
I’m looking for signs
Christmassy blessings
of wonderful times.
Fantastic portions
of which I remember
come to me Christmas
within sweet December.
Yet now as summertime
displays its glory
I’m looking for signs
of a Christmastime story.
The blessings of Jesus
in every which way.
I’m look for signs of
that great Christmas Day.
The summertime scenes
my sight now unwinds
while Christmas is what I’m
looking for signs.

The Sight Within Me

My own inner being
is sometimes misled,
the sight within me
that guides me ahead.
Those moments surely
have bumps in their lanes
gathered from seeing
what trouble attains.
The sight within me
is taught every day
sometimes but only
through moments of grey.
We all have problems
that only we see
for surely some moments
are just you and me.
My inner sight seeing
needs learn to see true
the sight within me
that’s better to view.

Without My Eyes

Our eyes give us sight
with things to see,
but our nose will inhale
an abundant degree.
Our ears will be found
with sounds to explore
as a snap of a twig
or a slam of a door.
Without my eyes
I might need to learn
to see with my ears
and nose to discern.
Even by touching things
I might find clear
things I didn’t smell,
and see or even hear.
I know my other senses
will surely comprise
even when I might be
without my eyes.

Knowing Yourself

Sometimes our problems
begin first inside
not knowing ourselves
as time frames reside.
Knowing yourself
can help you to see
what that’s of you
and what that’s of me.
We each might find that
we think we know true,
but find out it’s not what
that we should then do.
Life has a way of
showing confusion
while knowing ourselves
becomes an illusion.
Now is a time to
learn who you are
with knowing yourself
not oh so bizarre.

Tomorrow’s Past Days

The day after now
leaves stories to tell
words of a journey
that might not seem well.
Tomorrow’s past days
might be with regret
things that we’d wish to
in some ways forget.
As each day’s ended
and night comes to be
our words and actions
come clearer to see.
Tomorrow’s past days
are often exposed
sometimes with lessons
we somehow disposed.
Look now more clearly
and find better ways
lessons from turnstiles
tomorrow’s past days.

Finding A Breath Full

A time of so peaceful
sometimes has some clouds
spread out through minutes
as a moment enshrouds.
Don’t let those storm clouds
to take your days smile.
Find God through blessings
to surely compile.
Often our pathways
of journeys will be
finding a breath full
of which we can see.
Yet on occasions
we might not see clear
the blessings from Lord God
of year after year,
Finding a breath full
might need you to grow
and maybe learn to
sometimes let go.

Haiku
for July 25,  2015

Harboring anger
can cause a large explosion
within you own mind.

Free falling people
might land on ones passing by
and end with regret.

An anchor less ship
could find itself miles away
and striking some rocks.

Gazing at the stars
you’ll find some that are brighter
that might be planets.

As humans grow wiser
we in time find ourselves dumb
for things we thought right.

Counting the minutes
to the beginning of life
might show some changes.

Now is a moment
that will soon become the past
as time moves along.

Many discoveries
can change the way that we think
and build a new path.

With bad perception
you might find yourself confused
headed the wrong way.

Deciphering dreams
can sometimes lose the meanings
seen in the wrong light.

With hearts united
life can become much greater,
if God is within.

Sights of a dreamer
can often become clouded
and become nightmares.

Christmas believing
brings Lord Jesus Christ alive
with the gift of love.

Beyond our cosmos
we might never understand
what life that exists.

Collected moments
can turn into your baggage
even if it’s good.

Various people
find themselves in delusion
when found in the night.

Way up in the sky
clouds will sometimes form designs
that we recognize.

In the ocean deep
there lives many mysteries
we may never know.

Our own galaxy
is still very much unknown,
but we’re learning more.

A forest of trees
can hide the most wondrous sites
within its branches.

Weak from a journey
could leave you wanting to stop
before you get there.

A quick moments glance
is often just misconceived
for it was done fast.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been a sad week here at the Pearce’s place,
but it’s cheered up a bit since the last few days.
Are you ready for me to tell ya why?  Well Judy
had been wanting another dog,  but we weren’t
allowed to have more than 2 dogs.  Besides,  we
had our hands full with Benny and Milo.  Now
as Milo has moved on to Heaven and his picture
hangs in our living room with his joyful essence,
we found ourselves in need of another dog to fill
the void.  Benny still misses Milo and I’m sure
he will always as we will also.  But Judy had her
eyes on a little Shihtzu named Rocky and I said,
let’s get him.  We need the sounds of those little
paws running around playing in our home and it
had gotten too quiet.  Anyways,  Judy’s brother
Ricky loaned us the money to get Rocky and we
picked him up from the airport July 16 which
was Benny’s 4 year birthday.  Rocky is 3 years
old.  He came from Florida.  Boy is he in for
a surprise come wintertime LOL.  Rocky is a
lot like Milo was.  He doesn’t like the outdoors,
but it seems he was never potty trained so we
have been working with him every day to get
him to understand that peeing and pooping
is done outside,  not inside LOL.  He’ll learn.
We have only had him for 3 days ya know 🙂
Benny came with us to pick Rocky up from
the airport and when he saw me take Rocky
out of the crate,  he went crazy with joy,  but
I don’t think he was aware that Rocky was
coming home with us until I put him in the
car with him.  Benny got a little growly at
him 🙂  but then even Milo got a little growly
at Benny sometimes hehehe.  I’m sure they
will become the best of friends in time just
like Benny and Milo were,  for even people
aren’t always quick to become friends.  It
takes time.  So,  what else is there to tell
ya about the goings on around this place?
Well,  last night was the first night since we
got Rocky that he didn’t poop in the floor,
so we might be getting through to him,  but
time will tell.  He did though end up in here
with me after Judy and her sister headed
up to see Ricky at 11 AM today and well,
Rocky had an accident.  Yep,  he pooped in
here and I put his nose down to it and then
I spanked him saying NO.  Then I put him
outside and cleaned up the poop.   It’ll take
time.  We had to stay after Benny until it
finally clicked that he doesn’t get spanked
if he poops outside hehehe.  Yep,  this home
is full of surprises LOL.  We bought some
training spray when we got Benny,  but it
never worked.  You’re supposed to spray it
where you want them to go potty.  We’re
giving it a try with Rocky,  but once again,
time will tell 🙂  Judy sprayed it on our car
tires for some reason hehehe and he went
and peed on them,  just like dogs will never
do LOL.  Yes,  we do silly stuff.  Judy can’t
count the times that I have done some crazy
stuff hehehe.  I think she enjoys my antics,
such as my making up songs off the top of
my head.  She’s amazed at how I do that 🙂
Yet she knows I am a quick thinker being
I can write 10 poems and 22 haiku in just
a matter of a few hours LOL.  I can’t wait
to read Judy’s new book,  but she’s still in
the process of writing it and going back
and making changes ever so often.  She
had sort of slacked off writing with the
situation of Milo facing us,  but now with
our new little boy,   she might get back to
writing.  She writes great poetry too.  Not
quite as much as I do,  but then.  I don’t
know of anyone that writes as much as I
do hehehehe.  It seems I have trouble with
my thinker never shutting down.  It does
get irritating at times,  but it’s God’s gift
to me,  so I use it as best that I can.  It’s
62 F degrees right now at 2:30 PM.  It
rained a big part of the morning,  but at
the moment it’s just sprinkling.  Rocky
is right behind me in a doggy bed playing
with a toy.  A squeaking toy I might add 🙂
I don’t think he ever had a doggy bed or
any toys,  because it took some time to
get him to understand that the bed that
we were putting him in was for him and
he’s been going to town with all of the
many doggy toys that we have LOL.  All
morning it was squeaky squeak with him
in his doggy bed LOL.  Benny is back at
his perch on one of the recliners in the
living room.  He’s our little guard dog 🙂
I wish our landlord would hurry and mow
the lawn.  The grass is getting rather high.
I got the weed eater out yesterday and cut
a few down to size so that we could set up
our picnic table and the boys swimming
pool.  I also got the doghouse moved over
beside our front steps and it seems that
Rocky likes it.  He took a few tours inside
and on top of it.  I still find myself crying
over the loss of Milo,  but he is in a better
place now and in no more pain.  Through
Jesus and His love we will all be united
again one day when our time comes,  so
we will see him again.  God is great and
He has most surely blessed our home.
With God,  all things are possible and
blessings are given freely and forgiveness
through His Son is endless.  Remember,
life has it’s different portholes of which
we will pass.  Allow God inside your
heart and learn the power of prayer 🙂
Judy and I would be nothing without
God in our lives.  We’ve so much to be
thankful for.  We’ve had uncountable
blessings.  We have another blessing
now with us to give us smiles.  Benny
will in time learn to love his new little
brother.  It took Milo a while to learn
to love Benny.  Milo would snarl at
him time to time if Benny got on his
nerves LOL.   Benny does the same,
being Benny is now the big brother 🙂
Rocky just jumped up to my leg and
he wants me to pet him.  Awwwwww!
Now he’s lying down in the floor.  He’s
happy and looking up at me with his
little smile.  Thank You God for all
that You do for our family.  Judy and
I are always with Your protection as
we watch each day go by.   If you do
not know God and His Son,   then I
hope that you will one day take the
time to get to know Him.  So now
I reckon it’s time for me to begin my
search back through all that I have
written to see if I can find me a good
word or phrase that I can use for the
title for today’s brand new poem.  So
it’s away I go to that little place of my
recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I found
a decent title and now after checking
I see that I have not used it yet,  but it’s
getting used today.  Here goes 🙂

Uncountable Blessings

When life seems perplexing
for what you perceive
uncountable blessings
are there to retrieve
Portions momentous
might come into view
while displaying only
what bad comes to you.
Yet from encounters
uncountable shows
blessings from Lord God
to heal all our woes.
It might take some time
for peace found in frame,
but within Lord Jesus
there’s power in The Name.
Uncountable blessings
come to us each day,
but often unnoticed
within our which way.
Time becomes patterns
for many transgressing
but Lord God still gives us
uncountable blessings.
Forgiveness through Jesus
as each day moves on,
He still gives us blessings
even when we are wrong.

OK,  how’s that?  I hope you got something
out of that.  Did my rambling on an on about
our boys bore ya to tears LOL?  I hope not.
I just let Rocky outside to do his business 🙂
I hope he does and he doesn’t just sit on the
top steps wanting to come back inside as he
does almost every time we let him out hehehe.
I just figured I just gave him and Benny some
treats and thought he might need to go out
for a bit to potty.  Benny is once again lying
on the recliner in the living room.  I’ll go and
let Rocky back in after a bit.  He’ll be OK
out there.  It’s not raining and it’s only 63 F
degrees.  Not quite the summers that I grew
up with hehehe.  It’s 4 PM and I don’t think
it’s gonna get any warmer today.  Tomorrow
the high is supposed to be in the lower 70’s.
I don’t miss that Texas heat.  Looking back
I can remember many heat strokes and a
few sunburns hehehe.  Of course one can
get sunburned up here just as easily as in
Texas,  but the heat isn’t near as bad LOL.
I just went and let Rocky back inside and
noticed that it had started sprinkling agin
and he was a little wet 🙂  He’s OK.  It must
of just started sprinkling.  He’s back in
here with me now.  LOL the weather is
changing my conga drums tuning status.
Now my smaller conga is the bass.  I’ll
need to retune them before I play them
again 🙂  Life in the rainy state of Maine.
LOL if it’s not snowing,  it’s raining and
visa versa.  So is there anything that I’ve
forgotten to tell you?  Nope,  I think I’ve
said all that I need to say aside from the
regular that I tell you almost every week
and that is,  I wrote some more poems
and haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more poems,
but none of them are Christmas poems
this week.  Maybe next week 🙂  I also
wrote 22 more haiku for all of the haiku
lovers out there.  I hope you can find
1 or 2 of either or both that you like.
Now I believe it’s time for me to begin
my search for that not so elusive off
switch,  but not before I wish you a
most joyous weekend or what ever is
left of it and a blessings filled week.
Remember,  Jesus loves you and we
do too.  Now where’s that dad burned
off switch trying to hide this week? 🙂
Hmm,  me thinks I might see a little
bit of movement behind my statuette
that our old neighbors gave me that
says I think you’re nice.  Yep,  there
ya are you little whippersnapper LOL.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny and Rocky Pearce
“never ever forgetting Milo”

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Tomorrow’s Destiny

With every ending
another begins
tomorrow’s destiny
moments depend.
Seen from a distance
as now passes by
tomorrow’s destiny
might seem to fly.
Passing of choices
from our yesterdays
tomorrow’s destiny
comes in some ways.
Often as turnstiles
we never did see
tomorrow’s destiny
creates history.
Time frames unnoticed
as pages are turned
tomorrow’s destiny
ones sadly discern.
Found as just sadness
turning around
tomorrow’s destiny
needs prayer abound.
Throughout a prayer
some God given free
good can be found in
tomorrow’s destiny.

A Leaf That Blows

On a summers day
a leaf that blows
finds a path
wherever it goes.
Wind driven journeys
with leaves blowing free.
on a summers day
there’s so much to see.
Tree’s found a swaying
with wind blowing through
the scenes are all found
as a time thereunto.
A leaf that blows
with others each day
the moments all find
there’s so much to say.
Rustling thusly
a leaf that blows
follows the wind
wherever it goes.

Looking Too Fast

Minutes go quickly
when not taking time
looking too quickly
not seeing the sign.
Things we encounter
as our shadows cast
sometimes we miss things
when looking too fast.
Not taking time to
enjoy what we see
looking to fast then
leaves a degree.
Times that we hurried
to see and look on
looking too fast then
was lost in the dawn.
We might discover
what glances can give
and looking too fast can
not see what that lives.
Take now the time to
look closely and see
all of God’s blessings
for you and for me.

Mistaken Shadows

A shadowy figure
might come into view
that is mistaken
for something thought true.
Mistaken shadows
can sometimes be seen
that of a nightmare
or there in-between.
Often our viewpoint
is just but a gaze
that is mistaken
for horrific phase.
Our imaginations
can sometime run wild
and make us see things
we thought as a child.
Mistaken shadows
from our inner fears
might just be stemming
from our yesteryears.

Within The Rain

A storm cloud comes
with rains to fall
and brings some sights
that I recall.
Within the rains
are memories
of childhood days
with raindrop trees.
Under an oak tree
with rain falling down
I would be sheltered
with little dry ground.
Within the rain
there’s also a sign
lightning found striking
time after time.
Thunder heard roaring
as loud as can be
within the rain
I can hear and see.
Scenes floating by now
as storm clouds attain
I am now dripping
within the rain.

The Life Of A Star

Beyond the cosmos
so many are twinkling
stars up there daily
with all that they’re thinking.
Found then so magically
at night shining bright
the life of a star
is with twinkling light.
The stars that we’re seeing
might not now exist,
for they might of died
but their light does persist.
The distance the light years
determines their shine
the life of a star
and each found design.
Some watch them joyfully
from here to afar
to try to get a glimpse of
the life of a star.

Searching My Mind

So many mysteries
come and then go
searching my mind
what all I should know.
Things I’ve encountered
with time marching on
brings all the journeys
my mind dusk to dawn.
Searching my mind for
my past days gone by
often will help me
with who,  where and why.
Things I remember
that life taught me so
searching my mind
often helps me to grow.
Using those lessons
that time taught to me
God shows me truly
what I need to see.

Loss Of A Loved One

As life finds its ending
beginnings are found
loss of a loved one
finds true higher ground.
The death of the body
leaves life to move on
as Heaven beacons
the soul’s never gone.
Loss of a loved one
will bring us despair,
but God gives us peaceful
with moments of prayer.
Our love continues
to live in the skies
while loss of a loved one
might be in our eyes.
Find all the blessings
from loved ones you’ve known
and let not their death
makes misery grown.
Remember your loved ones
are now well to be
and those that have gone on
one day you will see.

Sometimes A Story

Many find wording
of something ones say
sometimes a story
to ones day to day.
Many find doubtful
what often is said
sometimes a story
is made up instead.
Yet many speaking
might mean all the truth
with many feeling
the pulling of a tooth.
Sometimes a story
can be reality
as time continues on
with all that we see.
So many journeys
might seem as mere lies,
simply because they’re not
seen with our own two eyes.

A Sudden Thought

A thought of despair,
a moment of wonder
might come so suddenly
just like some thunder.
A sudden thought
from a moment of time
might become lemons
are maybe a lime.
Often our moments
will fall out of sync,
the best of a thought
and the right way to think.
Time becomes riddles
of patterns we find
sometimes so suddenly
time after time.
So take perception
to a much better sought,
don’t always let troubles
become a sudden thought.
Sometimes our thinking
can bring forth our pain
of a sudden thought
with lesser to gain.
Look for the good times
within your own past
and make s sudden thought
of the good times to last.

Haiku
for July 18,  2015

Beside misery
holds a place of discontent
that we could avoid.

Counting the raindrops
becomes an endless pattern
as storm clouds reside.

Walking in meadows
might leave footsteps uncounted
as time marches on.

Problems of others
can often become our own
if we’re not careful.

So many in need
stand with wanting arms stretched out,
but many ignore.

Morning brings chances
found within minutes counted
with choices to make.

Some scenes that we see
are often there every day,
but we don’t notice.

Beyond the starlight
holds so many mysteries
that we don’t perceive.

Tomorrow’s daylight
might be hidden fast away
behind a few clouds.

Right now a moment
might seem as eternity,
but be just the wind.

Thoughts that we’re thinking
can become reality.
Careful what you think.

Within the mind’s eye
a mystery can evolve
and become your fear.

Thinking of time passed
you might perceive some mistakes
that you must live with.

Life can be funny
bringing laughter from actions
that we stumbled on.

God shows us mercy
more times than we’ll ever know.
We should be thankful.

Linking together
all of our past and present,
we will find lessons.

Seeking for a smile
could find you in the middle
and being laughed at.

Let ego to dim
while allowing God to shine
in all that you do.

Beyond the starlight
holds places only dreamed of,
but yet might exist.

With squeaking doorways
comes a need for some oiling
as others just wait.

Clinging to the past
could prevent you from growing,
so learn to let go.

Rhythms of thunder
speak patterns within the sky
as lightning prevails.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been a sad week around the Pearce’s place,
as our dear Milo had to be put to sleep.  He had
multiple health issues including liver cancer and
he was losing weight very quickly.  The poor guy
was hanging on with everything that he had,  but
we knew he was suffering.  He was so weak that
he could barely stand up.  But he gave it as large
a gungho as he could possibly give.  When I was
petting him,  he would fall over.  We loved and we
still love him tons and we knew this was best as
he was dying before our eyes.  We took him to
the vet and after he ran all of his test he said that
Milo is dying and probably the only thing keeping
him alive is his love for us.  They kept him over
night to run test and this was the conclusion. We
drove back to Presque Isle to be with Milo before
he was put to sleep and we held him and hugged
and kissed him.  We brought Benny in to say his
good-byes,  but Benny could hardly look at him
as he whimpered.   Then after the vet gave Milo
his shot to put him to sleep,  Benny came over
and sniffed and licked him as if to kiss his big
brother goodbye.  But it doesn’t end in a sad
note.  We happened across another dog in need
of a home and we bought him.  He’s like Benny,
a rescue dog.  His name is Rocky and he’s a 3
year old brown and white Shihtzu.  We will get
him this week.  He is coming from way down in
Florida.  Hehehe The little boy might of never
seen snow,  but he’s in for a surprise LOL.  We
will never forget Milo.  Milo was a big part of
our lives and a wonderful big brother to Benny.
This house will never be the same without him.
He had his silly little ways.  Fortunately,  I was
able to get him in a video with me playing my
congas July 4th.  He was outside with Benny
just walking around.  The video makes Judy
and I cry,  but we know he’s not hurting any
more as he waits at Rainbow Bridge for Judy
I and Benny to journey with us on into Heaven.

Here’s a little story I found on the Internet about

The RAINBOW BRIDGE

‘There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth.
It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many
colors. Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there
is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush
green grass.  When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes
to this place. There is always food and water and
warm spring weather. All the animals who have
been ill and old are restored to health and vigor;
those who were hurt or maimed are made whole
and strong again, just as we remember them
in our dreams of days and times gone by……
The animals are happy and content, except for
one small thing; they each miss someone very
special to them, who had to be left behind. They
all run and play together, but the day comes when
one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His
bright eyes are intent; his eager body begins to
quiver. Suddenly he begins to run from the group,
flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him
faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when
you and your special friend finally meet, you cling
together in joyous reunion. The happy kisses rain
upon your face; your hands again caress the
beloved head, and you look once more into the
trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from
your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together,
never again to be separated.’
******
OK so now it’s on with my own rambling about
the newest member of our little family.  Rocky
is in for a great surprise as is also Benny for
Benny’s birthday is Thursday and what a great
birthday present this is for this little ball of fur
that has brought us so much joy.  We can’t wait
to hear the pitter patter of them playing chase
through the house and watch them playing with
each other as well as the doggy toys hehehehe.
We’re not yet sure when to go and pick Rocky
up,  but she promised it would be this week 🙂
I have a feeling I might get peed on again LOL.
When we picked up Benny from the airport on
March 11 2012,  Benny’s flight had been delayed
and he had been in his crate for 5 hours.  That
boy had to pee,  but he was so nervous that he
couldn’t,  but while Judy drove and he rode in
my lap,  he became relaxed and well,  you know
the rest hehehe.  Now I am marked territory
and he loves to lie in my lap and fall asleep 🙂
Rocky looks like he’s almost the same size as
Benny from the pictures,  but we will see.  We
are so anxious that we can hardly wait.  So,
Pearce’s Place is acquiring another heartbeat.
We are having Milo cremated and keeping
his ashes.  He will always be a part of our
home,  for our love shall never end.  I have
him and Benny tattooed on my forearm so
I am always with memories hehehe.  They
are running up my arm 🙂  In time I will
add Rocky in a way that he joins in the
chase up my arm,  but that is for another
day.  For now,  Judy and I are trying to
keep Benny cheered,  because he misses
his big brother.  LOL This time Benny
will be the big brother being he turns 4
next Thursday and Rocky turned 3 years
old February 4th of this year.  Now,  what
else is there to tell you.  Well,  there has
not been much else happening other than
what we did with Milo Monday and then
his last day on Tuesday.  Other than that
Judy and I spent time thinking of what
we should do and we both came to the
conclusion that Benny needed another
brother to play with and cheer him up.
So we started searching the sites.  Judy
went back to Puppyfind where she
found Benny and that’s where she saw
Rocky.  We both fell in love with him
and decided to get him.  I just know he
will brighten up our little home once
again.  The lady said that Rocky is
good with children and other dogs,  so
that’s great.  She said that when he
gets excited he runs around in circles.
LOL Just right for Benny.  It’s been
sort of warm for the passed few days
up here,  but I’m sure it’s nothing like
what it is down southern ways hehehe.
Right now it’s 82 F degrees and it’s
supposed to be the same Monday and
Tuesday,  but drop back down to the
mid 70’s after that.  It’s not been that
bad.  It’s just that I can handle cold
weather better than I can hot weather.
My lack of intestines along with being
hot natured makes me dehydrate very
easy.  We’ve been taking Benny out
for a little run in the field in front of
our house as often as possible.  He
loves to romp and play in the field 🙂
Him and Milo used to run side by side
as they ventured through the field
and also running through the house 🙂
We are excitedly waiting for our new
little boy to bounce throughout our
house with Benny.  LOL I can’t wait
to see how he reacts to the snow when
it starts coming down hehehe.  We
shall see 🙂  So,  I guess next weeks
journal will have updates on Rocky
and how he’s doing.  God has most
surely blessed our little home with
His Love.  We can feel His love  as
we look at one another.  Sometimes
things will happen that we would
rather not happen,  but God knows
what we need and He will provide.
We never want to lose a loved one,
but if you think about it,  it’s not a
loss,  but a temporary separation,
for we will be joined once again in
Heaven.  Let God shine in your life.
Don’t let death of a loved one to put
you into a world of anger,  but know
that God is in control and His Son
Jesus Christ is with us to help us to
make our new beginnings.  Now,  I
believe it’s time for me to be taking
my little journey back through all of
my ramblings to see if I can find a
good word or phrase that I can use
for the title of today’s brand new
poem.  So,  it’s away I go to that
place of my recollection that I always
like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.
I think I may have spotted a good
title just a little ways back in my
rambling and after checking I see
that I have not used it as of yet,  but
used it shall be today.  Here goes…

Ventured Through

Those four legged days
with two in a field
have ventured through
not so concealed.
They’d bounce around
from here to there
and then wind up
most anywhere.
Benny and Milo
with heads held high
would run around
beneath the sky
They’d be together
each way they’d go
found in the summer
and wintertime’s snow.
Yet now dear Milo
is on Heaven’s ground
waiting for Benny
and us to be found.
We’ll never forget him,
for he was our boy
that ventured through
and brought us much joy.

OK,  so you can kind of tell that we miss our
little boy,  but we know he’s in a better place
and he is no longer in any pain.  He’s waiting
now to see us walking in the distance to come
join us in Heaven.  That day will come,  BUT,
for now,  we have another little bundle of joy
coming to be with us and join our little family.
This week is filled with great anticipation as
we await the message to pick Rocky up and
bring him home from the airport.  We are so
excited 🙂  So,  what else is there to tell you
that I haven’t already?  Hmm,  I can’t think
of anything,  so I guess it’s time for me to
be telling you what I tell you almost every
week and that is I wrote some more poems
and haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more poems with
1 being sort of Christmassy and 2 of them
are about our four legged friends.  I also
once again wrote 22 haiku for all of the
haiku lovers out there.  I hope you can find
1 or 2 of either or both that you like.  Now
I believe it’s time for me to be searching
for that confounded off switch that’s not so
great at hiding,  but not before I wish you
a most wonderful weekend and a blessings
filled week.  Remember,  Jesus loves you
and we do too.  OK,  now where are ya
you little whippersnapper?   Awww,  come
on.  Can’t ya find a better hiding place
than my salt shaker?  Sheesh,  sometimes
I think you’re just lazy hehehe.  Anyways,
I gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Milo
and soon to be Rocky Pearce

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Those Special Times

Those days remembered
a time ago
can be the peace
to end our woe.
Those special times
with mans best friend
are times so loved
that never end.
They live forever
deep inside
those special times
with each car ride.
That tail a wagging
wanting to go
those special times
a time ago.
The scenes are magical
which now reminds
of wonderful days
those special times.

Without Their Love

When sadness comes into our lives
as doorways found with pain
the ones we find with wagging tails
are there with peace to gain.
All those wonderful four legged friends
come with smiles to give
to help us when the world around us
is so hard to live.
For without their love so great
we might not understand
what unconditional really means
when Lord God holds our hand.
Those four legged friends so Heaven sent
are here to show so true
how that true love’s meant to be
as God loves me and you.
Without their love we’d never know
what peace can really be,
for they show love unconditional
for the world to see.

Time Rolls On

A summers day
with wind a blowing
gives me peace
that God’s bestowing.
Time rolls on
with minutes found
giving choices
to look around.
The pages turn
with time to read
and find the things
we really need.
Summers blessings
coming on cue
to display
a wondrous view.
Found within
the minutes gone
summer comes
and time rolls on.

When Now Meets Then

Finding a footing
when now meets then
there is so often
ones wondering when.
The moments the minutes
where shadows are seen
bring many illusions
of a nightmare or dream.
When now meets then
it often portrays
some similar instances
day after day.
Yet each occurrence
is different by far
when now meets then
the way that things are.
You might just remember
an instance of when,
but there are differences
when now meets then.

Searching For Winter

As I recall now
that wintertime snow
I now am feeling
a summertime woe.
Searching for winter
and Christmastime too
I find I’m thinking
of a sparkling hue.
Glittering scenes
in the snow oh so white
with lights all a twinkling
into the night.
Christmastime’s joyful
I now remember
while I am now just
searching for winter.
For now the weather
is OK for me,
but I prefer it
with white snow to see.
The cold of winter
helps me to feel
the blessings of life
so Christmassy real.
Those Christmas songs
that I love so,
I wish now to hear
on the radio.
Songs of Lord Jesus
and Santa Claus too
are what that I like
with a Heavenly view.
Searching for winter
on through summertime
finds me just gazing
searching for a sign.

A Smile From The Heart

When love is encountered
and blossoms and grows
a smile from the heart
Lord Jesus bestows.
As two find their pathway
together in life
the doorways are sometimes
a husband and wife.
A smile from the heart
can most surely bring peace
helping one another
with a little relief.
Often when united
two hearts will combine
and create another pathway
to a wonderful time.
A smile from the heart
is often what’s needed
to make the beginning
of blessings succeeded.
So as the minutes
and hours tick on
a smile from the heart
can make a great dawn.

Not Letting  Lie

When truthful finds fiction
with your alibi
time finds it better
not letting a lie.
If you’re found fibbing
about who you are
the truth might be found
from someone afar.
So it’s better to not let
yourself fall away
living in liars ville
day after day.
The truth will be found
when it’s least expected
as someone that knows
with time stood corrected.
Find now the flavors
of true honesty
not letting a lie
to be who you’ll be.
For surely the truth
will one day be shared
when someone that knows
displays you’re impaired.

Lost Beyond Time

While now might show
a moment displayed
found as a wonderful
minute God made,
the time ticks onwards
making more blessings
found with uniqueness
as Heavenly dressing.
Sometimes those moments
will get hidden away
and we will forget them
with day after day.
They’re lost beyond time
when memory is week
those special times
that now seems antique.
We need to remember
what God gave to find
and not let it be
just lost beyond time.

A Cosmic Voyage

A rocket tour
to outer space
becomes a trip
another place.
Heading upwards
to the sky
a cosmic voyage
now watch it fly.
Within a thought
of dreams and more
this rocket tour
will open a door.
Minds of mysteries
displaying true
a cosmic voyage
for me and you.
For we can dream
of flying away
a cosmic voyage
another day.
The scenes all change
as stars are found
way up in space
without a ground.
A cosmic voyage
to great extent
within a dream
of where you went.
You can take off
any time
to that cosmic
so sublime.
Search creations
smiling face
a cosmic voyage
to outer space.

Tomorrow’s Yesterday

As passing days become
tomorrow’s yesterday
the minutes that we see
might just fade away.
The echoes of heartbeats
that might intertwine
can become yesterday’s
moments we find.
Tomorrow’s yesterday
finds us exploring
what that had passed on
that we were adoring.
With each and every sight
that our eyes might see
the days continue on
with what will be will be.
Let God to show you
His love as you pray
and He’ll show you blessings
tomorrow’s yesterday.

Watching the flowers
as they grow with their blossoms
shows many blessings.

As summer falls nigh
and autumn shows its colors
winter will prevail.

Beyond the starlight
holds mysteries of unknown
places that exist.

A wind driven leaf
flies briskly as a airplane
seeking where to land.

Summertime’s storm clouds
often bring in a cool breeze
along with some rain.

God shows His Glory
in many things we don’t see,
but yet we feel them.

Moments of vengeful
can create your own demise,
so try and find peace.

When lost in a dream
you might lose reality
and find a nightmare.

Standing and watching
and not trying to give help
can come back to haunt.

Many keep secrets
locked tight within their minds
for fear of judgment.

Long awaited time
will come sometimes so slowly
it seems not moving.

Narrowly missing
the troubles within your path
doesn’t mean they’re gone.

Morning brings sunshine
as the day brings decisions
with what will you do.

Painting with your mind
gives abundance of colors
to create a smile.

Leftover thinking
could find you with much turmoil
if it’s with anger.

Linking many minds
can be done but with patience,
yet all aren’t patient.

Nearing your life’s end
might find fear within your heart,
but Heaven awaits.

Beyond the starlight
holds places that we dream of
and one day might see.

A river flowing
might have a world in its depth
that is standing still.

Waves upon a shore
become painters of pictures
while always changing.

A four legged friend
can bring peace to a moment
that’s otherwise sad.

Emotions ocean
has many sways within time
as life comes ashore.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s sort of warm today.  Right now it’s 78 F
degrees and sunny.  There’s a slight chance
for rain later on this evening,  but it’s a very
slight chance LOL.  Milo is still not feeling
well.  We’re taking the poor little boy to the
vet this week.  Hopefully they can prescribe
something for him to get him back up to par.
He is 10 years old though.  The little guy in
human years according to breed is 56 years
old.  He’ll be 60 Oct 31 2015.  Yep,  he be a
Halloween dog hehehe.  I hope that he gets
well soon.  I miss his happy little face and his
brother Benny misses playing with him.  Yet,
we do know that dogs have a much shorter
lifespan than humans.  Still,  we want Milo
to be with us for a few more years.  They’re
our little boys 🙂  So,  what else is there to
tell ya.  Oh yea,  our grandson Christian and
granddaughter Rylee came and spent the
day with us Wednesday.  Her mom (Judy’s
oldest daughter Mandy) came and got her
that evening and Helena was supposed to
come and pick up Christian when she got
off work,  but hehehe she kind of forgot
and so we had Christian for the night.  We
had a good time watching videos and all
so it was all good.  Rylee will be 8 years
old this month and Christian is 13.  He’s
gone now to spend some time with his
other grandparents in southern Maine 🙂
He’ll be back soon 🙂  LOL we think he
comes here for the Internet hehehe.  He
hasn’t got any where he lives.  We love
those kids,  I can’t wait till Chance is able
to come and visit us.  Him and me met
back when I flew up to Maine to meet
Judy in person for the first time and we
connected.  It was like an instant bond 🙂
Judy and I were already in love and had
bonded.  Her family accepted me from
the get go.  It was like it was meant to
be.  Anyways,  onto another topic.  Well
this Saturday was the 4th of July and we
just sat inside as we heard the fireworks
going off in town 8 miles away hehehe.
Judy went over to her ex’s house to be
with her family.  Her daughters live with
him.  They had a cook out and a few of
them had water fights.  I stayed home
to keep an eye on Milo and yes of course
Benny stayed home too.  I stayed busy
working on Judy’s PC to get it fixed and
washed the dishes then I also carried my
conga drums outside and did a couple
of videos.  I left the front door opened so
that the boys could come out with me if
they wanted to.  Benny romped around
a bit and Milo wandered around a little
bit,  but he soon decided to go back in.
He sort of stumbled going up the steps,
but he made it.  Anyways,  Judy made
it home about 9 PM and we watched
some of our TV programs before Judy
began to nod off and so we headed off
to bed.  So This weekend wasn’t that
spectacular for me,  but it could of been
worse.  We are both hoping that the
vet can give Milo something to make
him feel better.  In any sense,  he’s in
God’s Hands.  Benny and Milo managed
to get in both of the videos that I did 🙂
The second show Milo headed back
inside and then turning around after
he got in and looking at me hehehehe.
I bought them some yogurt treats and
they both seem to love them.  I also
bought Milo 4 cans of Alpo being he
hasn’t wanted what I had been feeding
him.  He ate the Alpo and that made us
happy.  Hopefully he will be back to
his old self again soon.  I know,  I’ve
talked about him most of the journal 🙂
We love our boys <3  Yeppers,  they’re
the boys we couldn’t have 🙂  Now as
I look outside I see that the sun has
been hidden as a few clouds come
drifting by.  The next two days are
supposed to be in the lower 80’s,  but
after that back to the lower to upper
70’s .  So,  it’s not gonna be too bad.
Oh yea,  last Sunday being that I wrote
my journal and published it around
3 AM in the morning,  I wasn’t able to
send the beautiful pictures of the red
sky that was displayed about 4:30 that
morning,  so I’ll put them in this weeks
stationery for all those that are getting
this in the stationery format hehehe.
Christian was coming that day and I
didn’t want to be stuck writing the
whole time he was here as I was the
previous week LOL.  Also I’ll put a
picture in the stationery of Christian
Judy and I later that day.  There is
so much that I have to thank God for.
He’s blessed our home with love as
He had put this family together like
a puzzle.  We came together united.
Each piece just right.  Thank You
Lord God for all that You have done.
Thank You for protecting us from the
many disasters of life and giving us the
strength to endure what we must go
through.  Judy and I know that our
time is numbered and we have faith
that when our time in these bodies
has ended we will meet again up in
Heaven and be joined with Benny
and Milo.  My dog from my childhood
will be there waiting along side with
Benny and Milo.  We will be together
forever in peace with no sickness.
Our family and friends that have gone
on before us will be there awaiting
to greet us.  It will most surely be a
wonderful day.  Yet,  we thank You
God for the time that we have in the
here and now,  for there is much to
enjoy.  With our love for photography
we tend to find the beauty in many
places that others take for granted.
Look for the blessings.   They are
there and awaiting to be discovered.
Now I believe I have rambled quite
enough don’t ya think and it’s time
for me to be taking my little quest
back through all that I’ve written
here to see if I can find a good word
or phrase that I can use for the title
of today’s brand new poem.  So it’s
away I go to that little place of my
recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  Hmm,  it
looks like I may have found a decent
title and now after checking I see
that I have not used it as of yet,  but
used it shall be today.  Here goes 🙂

Many Disasters

As wars of time
display their goal
oh so many will
take a great toll.
Many disasters
will come into place,
but we should know
we’re saved by grace.
Our lives might find
a time so sad,
when we’re thinking
of things we had,
but life has good
that things can’t show,
for truth of time
makes blessings grow.
Many disasters
will find us at war
with our own choices
not better by far.
So think now of life
and freedom to live
and share your thoughts
what soldiers did give.
The past has a way
of fading away
when we’re forgetting
what wars did display.
With bullets flying
and many to die
many disasters
are peace you and I.
All of those soldiers
fought for USA
to give us the freedom
that lives on today.

OK,  there ya go.  I thought I should write
a Independence Day poem,  but then again
I already wrote one yesterday hehehehehe.
Now ya have two of em.  I hope you liked
the poem and maybe even the journal.  Yes
I know I tended to ramble quite a bit about
Milo,  but I am worried about him.  We can
tell that he doesn’t feel well,  by just looking
in his eyes.  Please Keep him in your prayers.
So,  what else is there to tell ya that I might
have forgotten?  Hmm,  Oh yea,  I took a few
screen shots of my video.  They have Benny
and Milo in them 🙂  So,  those of you that
are able will be able to see them.  They’re
not the greatest pictures,  but remember,
they’re screen captures off of the video 🙂
So,  I guess that’s about all about that and
now it’s time for me to tell you what I tell
you almost every week and that is I wrote
some more poems and haiku.  Yeppers,  10
more poems,  but none of them Christmas
related this week LOL.  One is like I said
earlier,  about the 4th of July.  I also wrote
22 more haiku for all of the haiku lovers
out there.  I hope you can find one or two
of either or both that you like.  Now it’s
near time for me to be searching for that
not so freaken illusive off switch,  but not
before I wish you all a most wonderful
weekend and belated 4th of July as well
as a blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  Now to
find that confounded off switch that has
yet to of found a decent hiding spot LOL.
Hahahahaha I see ya you silly little thing.
Hiding in near the same spots that you
have hidden before is pretty much saying
ya wanna be caught,  but if ya don’t,  then
TRY HARDER next time will ya hehehe.
I see ya poking your head out from behind
that little monitor.  If you could manage
to not be poking your head out ever so
often,  I might not see ya and you might
stay hidden.   Maybe next time huh LOL.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny and Milo Pearce

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Beyond My Sight

Those sights unseen
that come and go
might be what’s found
with I don’t know.
Beyond my sight
there might just be
a soul of life
that I can’t see.
Within my gaze
of timeless true
a soul might be
with much to do.
The soul that’s there
might be a friend
that has passed on
around the bend.
For their own time
had come and gone
to Heaven above
to then live on.
Maybe an angel
or friend of mine
beyond my sight
of a different time.
The spirit world
holds many faces
with here and there
in many places.
Those in Heaven
might still visit true
as guiding friends
for me and you.

Beyond Our Illusions

The seconds and minutes
that gather in time
become as the moments
some bad,  some divine.
The hours collectively
joined in a day
are sometimes discerned as
a shadowy way.
Beyond our illusions
and signature trails
some might seem real
in all their details.
Within crazy dreams
of wantings gone wild
beyond our illusions
is sometimes denial.
With many viewpoints
finds many confusions
set in the storyline
beyond our illusions.

Vantage Point

Seasons of changes
become what we see,
found as a vantage point
our history.
With every turnstile
there’s something to find
within a vantage point,
it’s own design.
Sometimes our eyesight
is clouded array
beyond every vantage point
day after day.
Our daily viewing
might be down a slope
found in our vantage point
life’s telescope.
Sometimes the moments
are just but a time
within our vantage point
and its design.
So look now beyond
what times disappoint
and try to see hopeful
from your vantage point.

Lost In Mind

Amidst a time
of thinking realm
I’m lost in mind
with thought at helm.
Many patterns
thought so true
are lost in mind
with faded hue.
So many times
when past connects
and brings today
with its aspects
my lost in mind
becomes more clear
from now today
to yesteryear.
The future dates
bring their design
amidst my thoughts
of lost in mind.

Those Summer Rains

With steps of summer
walking through
the seasons bring
a life to view
Those summer rains
give life a chance
from clouds above
with song and dance.
Lightning striking
thunder sounds
those summer rains
make wet the grounds.
Scenes becoming
summer style
with ones swimming
all the while.
The warmest days
that ones complain
are found with peace
those summer rains.

Dissolving Shadows

Day by day
as time ticks on
memories
are never gone
Dissolving shadows
many try
when the past is
by and by.
Yet some shadows
still display
all our memories
day by day.
Life shows shadows
sometimes seen
as a nightmare,
maybe dream.
Today displays
a chance to change
dissolving shadows
good to gain.

Within The Darkness

The night brings sights
that eyes can’t view
within the darkness
there and to.
The darkened scenes
with stars of light
are often found
with faded sight.
A story written
in the skies
within the darkness
a surprise.
Some might fear for
what that’s hidden
within the darkness
starlight driven.
Even moonlight
shining bright
makes ones fearful
in the night.
Yet the night sky
that displays
has its magical
wonderful ways.
Filled with mysteries
to embark
the moon and stars
within the dark.

Always Wishing

Now might be
a saddened day
wishing for
another way,
but sometimes
those wishing wants
could just bring
a ton of taunts.
Always wishing
and not seeing
what that’s there
a moment fleeing,
might cause you
to lose a lot
always wishing
what should not.
Let the good times
find your gaze
no matter if
they’re smaller phase.
Let God’s blessings
to shine through
not always wishing
what’s not you.

Our Freedom Rings

To arms we came
with peace in mind
our freedom rings
what now we find.
The soldiers true
fought day and night
to give to us
a hopeful life.
Yet so many
turn away
from arms we came
to sad display.
We need remember
dead and gone
that fought for freedom
dusk to dawn.
Our freedom rings
for young and old
that lives on
as story’s told.
The feet that marched
into the war
our freedom rings
each shining star.

A Stargazers Tour

On to a journey
out through the stars
take a little tour
through Venus and Mars.
A stargazers tour
to wonderful worlds
way up in space
where starlight unfurls.
Scenes come alive
with twinkling lights
seen by a stargazer
deep in the nights.
A venture,  a path
that our skies unfold
a stargazers tour
seeks new stories told.
So many planets
that come to allure
are found so exciting
a stargazers tour.
Days seem as minutes,
then time standing still
a stargazers tour
seeks life to fulfill.
Searching the cosmos
to planets unknown
a stargazers tour
asks are we alone?

Haiku
for July 4,  2015

The oceans voices
speak out through the many waves
that sound like Heaven.

A rainstorms entrance
might show us many faces
deep within the clouds.

Unique are blessings
for we each have our own time
of which they will come.

A lonely lost soul
might lose focus on what’s good
and let life to die.

Allowing patterns
to exist in misery
could cause more trouble

Know your enemy,
but don’t let hate to evolve
into mere judgment.

Sometimes our lifestyles
become only a moment
that we’ve forgotten.

Meaningless chatter
only displays confusion
so take heed your words.

Deep within the night
a fear factor could explode
with only nightmares.

While in a moment
you might be filled with sorrow,
but God gives us peace.

Life in a nutshell
has many different styles
with some needing cracked.

Misleading people
will often make some errors
and expose themselves.

Deep in the ocean
lives the thoughts of sailing ships
that have met demise.

Countless are hours
that many will just worry
about the small things.

Various turnstiles
give their true meaning inside
and others will lie.

Allowing a storm
to live and breathe within you
might hurt ones you love.

Beyond what we see
there might be another life
existing like ours.

Borderline lifestyles
will walk the fence either way
maybe finding trouble.

Without any prayer
ones will most surely find doom,
so take time for prayer.

Lost in a moment,
a second of time might seem
like eternity.

While looking to space
the stars might seem to gossip
about existence.

Parallel time frames
might find us so different
with bad being good.
