ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s another week gone by and we’re
still among the living.  Fall is upon us
and it’s been getting cooler with each
passing day.  It’s been in the mid 50’s
for the passed few days and the nights
have been in 30’s and 40’s,  Fahrenheit
that is LOL.  Celsius that would be on
the warm side hehehe. Nope,  the 30’s
F would be like 3 to minus 1 degree C.
So whenever speaking of how cold or
hot it is,  I am using Fahrenheit,  not
Celsius.  I’m still a Texan,  remember
that hehehe.  Right now at 5:30 PM it
is 50 F degrees.  It got down to 38 F
early this morning and the forecast for
tomorrow morning is 36.  Winter’s not
too far away.  Judy and I are planning
on sometime this week making a trip
back down to Baxter State Park for
fall foliage pictures.  I called the park
rangers the other day and they said
the leaves have begun changing,  so
look out park here we come.  We’re
not sure when we will go yet,  but we
will.  OK so what else is happening up
this way?  Well,  Judy and all of her
sisters and daughters have seemed to
of got hooked on painting.  They are
all getting pretty good.  They had a
craft night last weekend (Saturday).
Judy made a scarecrow out of hat 🙂
It’s cute.  She hung it on the wall in
here.  Judy has been doing a lot of
painting.  As a matter of fact she’s
painting an abstract bluebird right
now.  Both Benny and Rocky are in
the floor right between Judy and I
just snoring away LOL.  Thank God
they finally wore themselves out LOL.
They were running all over the place
back and forth from the living room
back into here.  They went outside
a few times and we had hoped they
would run off all that energy outside,
but NO.  I wish I had half of their
energy hehehe.  Yet,  for now,  they
are out of it,  sound asleep and you
ask,  how do I know they are sound
asleep.  LOL I accidentally bumped
Rocky with my foot and he didn’t
even budge.  Still snoring hehehe 🙂
Judy’s coming right along with her
bluebird.  I think it’s looking quite
nice.  I have yet to of gotten back to
the painting that I began a week or
3 ago LOL.  I guess painting’s just
not in my blood.  I’m more of a poet
than a painter.  But I will one day
get back to the painting I began and
finish it.  Although I have recently
had a different idea of what to end
the painting as,  which might be a
little harder than what I was going
to do in the beginning hehehe.  Oh
well,  life goes on.  It’s just that the
painting has been postponed hehehe.
I did a few more picture poems using
pictures that Judy’s painted and ones
we have taken as time has passed.  If
you are not on Facebook,  but would
like to see some of the picture poems,
then let me know and I’ll send some
to you.  Judy and I got an invite to
my daughter’s wedding December 3.
Sad to say,  we are unable to make
the journey.  Especially in December.
We will be having to invest in heating
oil,  not to mention the price for the
drive is not in our budget.  But Judy
and I are hoping to one day in the
future make another drive to Texas
and visit and hopefully even be able
to make a trip down to Port Aransas
which is one of our favorite places.
Sadly our last drive to Texas in 2014
was cut short because our dog Milo
was sick and we needed to get him
back home.  We were wanting to do
a lot more than we did when we were
in Texas,  but even our car died.  My
mom gave us her car and bought her
another one so that Judy, I and the
boys could get back home.  That
was a sad moment.  That old Mazda
was with me for over 19 years and
she was a good car.  LOL now she’s
in automobile Heaven if there is such
a thing 🙂  Milo is also in Heaven now
as Cancer took his life. But I’m sure
he’s prancing in the fields as he waits
for us at Rainbow Bridge.  Now we
have Rocky and he’s got many of
Milo’s qualities aside from being a
lot younger and with a WHOLE LOT
more energy hehehe.  Yeppers,  God
has been good to us and made sure
that we had what we needed and He
still has us in His mighty hands.  Well,
it’s 47 degrees now.  LOL again,  that
is not Centigrade or Celsius.  We might
be turning on our radiator heaters soon,
but for now,  it’s not too cold.  We’ll do
without them as long as we can being
our light bill is already $150. LOL 🙂
Social Security only goes so far ya know.
We’ll survive as long as God intends us
to.  The boys have awoken and Benny
is now in the living room and Rocky
is sitting right behind me playing with
a squeaky toy LOL.  He just ran out
of the room,  maybe to try and find his
brother.  Back to romper room LOL.
We love those boys.  They gives us
tons of smiles.  Oh yea,  our youngest
grandson Christian came and spent
Friday and Saturday with us.  We
always enjoy having him come and
visit.  We watched gaming videos and
whatnot as we usually do on my PC.
He usually brings his tablet PC with
him just in case I’m busy writing, but
I had already gotten all of my writing
done before he got here.  So it seems
that the Pearce’s Place is still active.
God is still in control as He always is
and shall be.  I know I have misery
in my life,  but I’m thankful for the
many blessings that He has given me
that totally outweigh the misery.  Our
journey is but a second,  a minute and
a day,  for anything after that is just
a guess and not yet in our view.  Look
beyond the misery and find the many
blessings that you may have let to
pass your view.  I guess it’s time for
me to be taking my little journey back
through all that I’ve written here to see
if I can find a word or phrase that I
can use for the title for today’s brand
new poem.  So it’s away I go to that
place of my recollection that I always
like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.
I think I found a decent title near the
beginning of my rambling while I was
talking about Judy’s painting hehehe.
So here goes.  I hope I can write
something that makes sense using it.

Abstract Bluebird

A little bluebird
timeless fact
made a painting
found abstract.
Just a thought of
times details
finds a pattern
life compels.
Abstract bluebird
of the mind
might just be a
point and time.
Found as artwork
things to do
sometimes peace is
painted blue.
With a moment
seemed absurd
peace is found,
abstract bluebird.

LOL there ya go.  Yes,  the poem is about
Judy’s painting that she just did.  The title
just jumped out at me hehehe.  Anyway,  I
hope you enjoyed my rambling and maybe
even liked the poem a little 🙂  if not,  then
I’m so sorry hehehe.  No I’m not mwahaha.
In any sense I at least maybe amused you
a tad.  Rocky is back in his doggy bed.  I
guess he wasn’t quite rested up.  This room
looks like a toy box.  He’s brought almost
all of the toys from the toy box in our room
and strung them out all over the floor LOL.
I sure wish we could teach him to put his
toys away hehehe.  Yeah,  that’s pretty
much a dream I’m sure LOL.  Oh well,
at least the toys are being enjoyed.  His
brother Benny only has 1 or 2 toys that
he likes to play with and of course he’s
getting old and not filled with as much
spunk as he had when we got him 🙂
But he still gets into his rambunctious
modes.  When we mentioned going for
a walk in the field or for a drive,  he’s all
ecstatic and making all kinds of noise.
When heading out in the field,  Benny’s
most times leading the way with Rocky
close by and often running side by side.
They truly love one another and look
out for each other.  So I reckon it’s
time for me to be telling you what I
tell you almost every week and that is,
I wrote some more poems and haiku.
Yeppers,  10 more poems,  but as I’ve
done in the passed few weeks, I wrote
a few more which were for picture
poems and that ups the count to 17 🙂
Nope no Christmas poems this week,
but I once again wrote 22 haiku for
all of the haiku lovers out there.  I
hope you can find 1 or 2 of either or
both that you like.  Now I believe it’s
time for me to begin my search for
that hardly elusive off switch,  but
not before I wish you a wonderful
weekend or whatever’s left of it and
a truly blessed week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  Now
where is that ornery off switch hiding
this week?  Hmmm,  LOL I’m seeing
a bit of shaking from under a paper
towel that it lying right in front of me.
I guess you were cold huh hehehehe.
Trying to warm up under that paper
towel were ya!  Hehehe it’s only 64 F
degrees in here.  That’s not that cold.
Oh well LOL,  I guess you’ve got thin
blood.  Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S  A link to Judy’s new book as at
the end of the journal along with the
others.  Enjoy 🙂

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10+7 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Harbored Thoughts

A sunset evening
brings forth a sight,
now just a harbor
of moments delight.
Found in the minutes
timeless detail
thoughts unending
surely set sail.
Harbored thoughts
of memories
funfilled days
of beach side seas
Thoughts so wondrous
time goes on
seasons recorded
now are gone.
Yet those moments
are not lost,
for they’re surely
harbored thoughts.

Waves Come Crashing

Journals of a wave
are a distant shore
words of an ocean
that many adore.
Waves come crashing
bringing their words
joined by the sound
of so many birds.
It tells of seasons
children splashing,
summertime’s days
waves come crashing.
The essence of it
grows as a heart
with waves of time
of which to impart.
The morning brings
a reflected scene
waves come crashing
as aquamarine.

Sunrise Sky

Walking on the beach
in sands morning sun,
our cameras seem to find
a new day that’s begun.
A sunrise sky
as a bright orange gaze,
with a glow that shines
in the mornings waves.
Distant as a thought,
waves crashing through,
a sunrise sky
creates such a view.
Seeming as magic
the morning sun glows
as a beacon of time
like a fiery rose.
Blossoming truly
with more to apply
the beginning of day
in a sunrise sky.

Life’s Reflection

Seen as ripples
glazed as glass
life’s reflection
shows the past.
Timeless moments
counted true
life’s reflection
comes in view.
Ripples mildly
flow upon
glistened minutes
moments pond.
Some fall colors
coincide
life’s reflection
far and wide.
Then as memoirs
unfold scenes
life’s reflection
creates dreams.

An Evening Sky

Mountains outlining
the distant scene
an evening sky
looks so serene.
Just like a painting
more than a stroke
painted by Heaven
as minutes uncloak.
An evening sky
of such display
is found within
the end of day.
Mountainous scenes
of orange and yellow
that play a song
as a scenic cello.
Magical music
that comes in view
as the mountains
bid their adieu.
Strums of strings
an evening sky
is song and dance
to say goodbye.

Inside A Dream

Hope is flourished,
a sailboat’s desire
inside a dream
of which to aspire.
A distant horizon
is painted with blue
inside a dream
of a magical hue.
Seasons of summer
as oceans and waves
bring alive dreams,
some wonderful days.
Inside a dream
sometime is displayed
as ones are sailing
a seasons cascade.
Time is a portion
of momentous skies
inside a dream
of sailboats premise.

Another Dance

Steps in time,
a waltz or two,
a change in life
will come in view.
Another dance
a riddled rhyme
becomes a day
another time.
The scenes we see
that come alive
can then become
a jump and jive.
Without lessons
one might think
another dance
will surely sink,
but the times
of life’s romance
can become
another dance.

Through The Heart

Minutes change
as times report,
some as long
and some as short.
Through the heart
ones eyes can see
a life of love
or past debris.
The choice is ours
to look beyond
the saddened times
for brighter dawn.
Places and faces
of then and there,
through the heart
can find a prayer.
Allowing sadness
to go away
will then allow
a brighter day.
Through the heart
can then be found,
life of love
God’s solid ground.

Different Roads

Turns discerned
of roads of miles,
often have some
bitter smiles.
Laughter hidden
troubled loads,
needing times of
different roads.
Scenes that pass
at just a glance,
different roads
might give a chance.
Stages set up,
different scenes,
different roads
might lead to dreams.
Leaving nightmares
heavy loads,
you might need some
different roads.

As A Cloud Floats By

Morning is a picture
painted in the sky
displayed as artwork
as a cloud floats by.
The painting is changing
with each minute there
as a cloud floats by
with the slightest of air.
Movement’s recorded
as seasons delight
as a cloud floats by
from daylight to night.
The sky’s as a window
of scenic blue tint
as a cloud floats by
that seems heaven sent.
A page of a journal
written in the sky
is a white fluffy dream
as a cloud floats by.

Autumn’s Leaves

Across a lake,
a gentle breeze
rustles all of
autumn’s leaves.
With some geese
in waters waves
autumn’s leaves
display the days.
Ripples gently
thereunto
autumn’s leaves
complete the view.
The style of time
that meets my eyes
becomes blessings
in disguise.
The colors magic,
autumn’s leaves
are within
what life achieves.
For with geese
that gather there
autumn’s leaves
are everywhere.

The Crane

This bird it stands
so very tall
spring through summer
onto fall.
The crane is fishing
food to eat
in the drink
with such a feat.
The sun is setting
on his view
reflecting light
a wondrous hue.
This bird so tall
within the gaze
now just watches
evenings ways.
Some birds above him
fly on by
while he looks up
at the sky.
He’s made a choice
to just remain
and stand and watch,
for he’s the crane.

A Road To Fall

Rhythms of tires
roll down the way,
finding the colors
of autumns array.
A road to fall
with trees of style
paves the way
for autumns mile.
Scenic stories
tell a tale,
a road to fall
the holy grail.
Still the rhythms
tires are heard,
a road to fall
every single word.
Singing of colors
on trees so tall,
this is the story,
a road to fall.

As Silence Becomes

Oceans of mornings
with timeless detail
display the stories
that will never fail.
Time is a heartbeat
with waves evermore,
as silence becomes some
seabirds that soar.
The bright orange horizon
with colorful clouds
displays the patterns
of so distant shrouds.
Ships out at sea
are finding what’s true,
as silence becomes some
waves crashing through.
Yet from the sea shore
that bright orange array
displays the colors
of a wonderful day.

A Little Barn

Within a field
of grasses green
a little barn
is surely seen.
Amidst some trees
it stands alone
a TV dish,
but not a phone.
A little barn,
a photograph
now just seems
a moments past.
Sawhorse standing
lean and tall
and a table
by the wall.
A little barn
is standing true
of gray and brown
within my view.

A Sweet Summer’s Day

A blue sky of summer
becomes as a place
for some bike riders
and dogs to keep pace.
A field full of beauty
with green grass of time,
a summer’s day surely
is then so divine.
Seeming as a painting,
yet one not of man,
a summer’s day tinted
with a wide scope of land.
From home to the field
the bike rider’s view
sees the green grass
and the deep sky of blue.
Clouds floating briskly
as they go their way
scenes of bike riders
on a sweet summer’s day.

Times Connections

True love is displayed
when time is asleep,
times connections
are then found so deep.
Love in a moments time
displayed with style
becomes a storyline
God did compile.
Times connections
of moments and means
finds then the pathways
filled full of dreams.
Heaven is a portion
of poured out display,
times connections
of day after day.
Hold fast to true love
and don’t let it die,
for it needs you together
to not say goodbye.

Haiku
for Sept 24 2016

Remembered problems
can become problems today
if lessons aren’t learned.

A challenge of time
is often a brand new tool
to be used one day.

Within scenic views
you can find another sight
that needs magnified.

A peaceful river
might become a raging mind
with too much water.

Various turnstiles
will give view to brighter days
while others will not.

A changing season
gives way to a another sight
that needs its moment.

Another minute
brings us another moment
to try to do good.

Onlooking people
will often not see right now
as it fades from sight.

Many disasters
are actually designers
of a brand new day.

Lack of believing
does not change reality,
for truth does exist.

An opened doorway
can be a welcoming sign
of evil or good.

Fearless is not good,
for one without any fear,
will jump to their death.

Pathways through snowstorms
are often hidden footprints
that you cannot see.

Silence emerging
can bring fear to a moment
if it’s too quiet.

Yesterdays thinking
is not always today’s thoughts,
for each day is new.

Marks on some paper
are the remains of a time
that might just be marks.

Years in existence
show many patterns of life
and how we view them.

From childhood to old
we find ourselves repeating
things that we have done.

Ignorance is bliss
unless it concerns our lives
and then it’s deadly.

Dividing people
only leaves many in want
for another view.

The difference seen
might just be the outer shell
with the same insides.

Change is a value
that many seek for through want,
but not what they need.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s been a nice passed week.  Last Tuesday
we went to Houlton Farms Ice Cream in town
for the last time this year.  Today was the last
day it would be opened.  It closes up when the
kids start back to school.  It’s mostly school
kids that operate it.  Anyways,  we went three
times this year and got ice cream 🙂  This last
time we both got a parfait,  mmm yummy 🙂
Judy has been trying to help the rest of the
family get her brothers house ready for him
to come home.  It needs a lot of work,  but it
will get done.  Ricky is not doing well at all,
but he doesn’t want his last days to be in the
nursing home.  We hope that it will all go well,
but time will tell.  So,  next topic.  The weather
has been fairly nice.  In the 60’s and 70’s F.
Right now at 4:26 PM it’s 69 F and looking a
little rainy.  It rained a little bit last night,  but
nothing of a grand scale.  The high for today
is supposed to be 73 F,  but I don’t think it’s
gonna make it.  Judy had craft night again
last night at her sister’s house and they did
a Halloween theme.  Judy decorated some
mason jars and they look pretty cool.  They
have all gotten into painting and they are all
getting pretty good.  Judy’s right behind me
sitting at her desk painting at this moment.
She’s painting a teddy bear 🙂  I’ve used a
few of her paintings for picture poetry and
they’ve come out pretty nice.  I’m so proud
of her.  She’s the gifted one in this family.
All I can do is scribble or type a few words
on a piece of paper or in an email.  I’m sure
most of it nobody reads LOL.  Though I’m
glad I have the ability to get my thoughts
out of my head and into writing,  because
otherwise  my head would explode hehehe.
I think if it were not for my writing ability
and rhythm,  I would of been dead years
ago.  Nah,  I’m sure a few of you read my
writings.  I can tell by your comments 🙂
Yeppers,  combined with my weird sense
of humor,  my life has been hanging on
by a thread, I might add, at times 🙂 LOL.
My love for photography is also a large
contributor to my life.  I simply love to
take pictures of things such as scenery,
people and pets.  Judy has also got that
component of life about her.  That’s one
of the things that brought us together and
holds us together.  So what else is there
to ramble about?  Hmm!  Well,  I think
Benny is having winter fever.  He loves
snow and I can see it in his eyes.  He’s
outside now sitting under the car looking
out at the driveway,  more than likely in
a fantasy world.  Last year when we got
Rocky,  he proved to be a snow loving
pooch also, as the first day of snow saw
them both running side by side out into
the midst of it,  bouncing around putting
their faces into the snow LOL.  Yeppers,
we’ve got 2 snow loving dogs and it’s a
good thing,  because they’ve got a snow
loving dad 🙂  I think Benny can tell that
the weather is getting cooler with each
passing day.  The high for tomorrow is
supposed to be 67 F,  which is quite nice
in my book.  In another couple of months
we’ll have to buy some heating oil,  but
not yet.  If we need to use the furnace we
still have maybe 30 gallons of heating oil
leftover from last year.  I hope that the
oil prices don’t start going back up too
soon.  Of course,  there’s nothing that
we can do about that.  We’ll survive as
long as we’re meant to survive 🙂  The
sky is still looking cloudy outside.  Rain
is in the forecast for tomorrow.  I bet
there’s a few Texans that would love to
have some weather like we’re having 🙂
Of course that would all change when
wintertime comes upon us LOL.  Oh
well,  we get to have a white Christmas
along with the beauty of the snow and
all that it creates.  Snow can make even
the ugliest house to look like a painting.
Time is marching on and autumn will
soon be knocking on our door.  Then,
Judy and I will be heading back down
to Baxter State Park to take some fall
photos.  We’re both looking forward to
that.  God has shown us many blessings
and I could not be more thankful.  My
past was a nightmare,  but it had a few
dreams within it,  such as my lovely
daughter and granddaughter.  Many
of the friends that I have met have also
became family to me.  Even through
darkness of the storms,  I found a few
silver linings to make it all worth while.
Thank You God for all that You have
given me and shown me.  My blessings
are great.  So,  now I guess it’s time
for me to be taking a little trip back
through all that I’ve written here to
see if I can find a good word or phrase
that I can use for the title for today’s
brand new poem and so it’s away that
I go to that lil place of my recollection
that I always like to call RECOLLECT
VILLE.  I think I found a decent title
just a few lines back.  Now to see if I
can write anything read worthy using
it LOL.  Here goes.

Time Is Marching

Footsteps making
place in time
leaving footprints
own design.
Time is marching
there and to
leaving then
a moment’s view.
Life’s cascading
like a falls
leaving shadows
on the walls.
Time is marching
face to face
leaving lessons
to enlace.
Words of wisdom,
sight and sound,
time is marching
all around.

Well  there ya go.  I hope the poem made
at least a little bit of sense to you and you
were not just left scratching your head 🙂
Also I hope that my rambling didn’t bore
you to tears and put you to sleep unless of
course you needed rest and then I guess
I’m happy to help LOL.  I had to stop for
a moment to give Benny a little butt wash.
He had a poopy butt.  He didn’t want to
come back inside and I could tell why by
the way he was looking at me cowering,
but after a lil coaxing I managed to get
him to come inside and now after a lil
bath he’s all spunky again 🙂  Oh yea,
I’ve got some great news.  My daughter
Jamye is soon to be married to Brennon
Ewen.  I can tell that Jamye is happier
than I have ever seen her.  Brennon is
a great guy.  He’s a police officer and
a decent man.  I’m sure he will make
Jamye a wonderful husband and Sami
a great step dad.  I look forward to the
day that I meet him in person.  He plays
guitar hehehe,  so him and Sami  can
jam with me whenever they make it up
this way 🙂  So,  I guess that’s all of the
news.  Now it’s time for me to tell you
what I tell you almost every week and
that is,  I wrote some more poems and
haiku.  Yeppers, 10 more poems with
2 of them being sort of Christmassy.
I did though get sort of carried away
again and wrote 7 extra poems, so that
ups the total to 17.  I also wrote once
again 22 haiku for all of the haiku
lovers out there.  I hope you can find
1 or 2 of either or both that you like.
So all that’s left is for me to begin my
search for that off switch that’s terrible
at hiding,  but not before I wish you
a wonderful weekend or whatever’s
left of it and a truly blessings filled
week.  Remember,  Jesus loves you
and we do too.  Now,  where is that
ornery off switch hiding this time?
Hmm,  I think I spy with my 1 good
eye a bit of movement behind the jar of
Pro Sense Tear Stain remover hehehe.
LOL hiding behind the boys medicines
now are ya?  Well,  not bad,  but you
could do better by not always peeking
out to see if I can see you.  Maybe next
week 🙂  Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S  A link to Judy’s new book as at
the end of the journal along with the
others.  Enjoy 🙂

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10+7 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Out To Sea

Rowing in a little boat
through rolling waves of time
out to sea one struggles on
to see what he can find.
The waves come crashing
trying to hold him back,
but through desperation
he stays on track.
Rowing just knowing
that he’ll make it through
while he’s out to sea
in the ocean of blue.
The scenes he’s seeing
are quickly the past,
for soon he looks back
and sees shadows cast.
Rowing in a little boat
his pathways applaud
for he had the strength
that was given from God.

The Fisherman

This man he fishes
in mornings sun,
the fisherman
has then begun.
The waves roll in
upon his feet,
but he still fishes
food to eat.
The fisherman
tosses his line
into the waves
of rolling time.
The echoes heard
are clear to hear
as seagulls sing
like yesteryear.
The fisherman
patiently waits
to see the food
to fill his plates.
The waves roll in
and still abide
to give his bait
a bumpy ride.
He still fishes
on and on
in the mornings
early dawn.
Time is nothing
but a plan
to catch some fish,
the fisherman.

Before You Know It

Each day brings stories,
times to see
that then become
our history.
The minutes tick on
day to day
as shadows gleam
a wondrous way.
Those Christmas mornings
times remembered,
thoughts of Santa,
gifts delivered.
Scenes as essence
red and green
before you know it,
it is seen.
The songs that are sung
of which we know,
we often hear
on the radio.
Before you know it,
it will be here,
the time for giving
Christmas cheer.
The places remembered
from our past
might just be
a shadows cast,
but before you know it,
it will show,
in many places
Christmas snow.
Scenes with wonderful
timeless ages,
lights lit up
with Christmas stages.
A manger scene
with angels singing,
before you know it
the bells will be ringing.
The lights of Christmas
day and night,
before you know it
you will delight.
It’s not the presents
that bring the joy,
it’s the blessings
to enjoy.
Being grateful
for life to live
and then also
sought to give.
So hold on to wishes
for they might come true,
as the season
shares them with you
Before you know it,
it will be here,
Christmastime
is coming near.

Staring At The Stars

Me and my doggy
stare at the sky,
searching the stars
up so very high.
The stars all twinkle
a word or two
to me and my doggy,
those stars in view.
It seems as a story,
it seems as a tale,
staring at the stars
the night skies compel.
Just like a good book
to read in the night,
the stars envelop
our every sight.
Me and my doggy
search out there so far
while sat together
staring at the stars.

The Style Of Time

A stage of an age
with timeless complexion
brings heartbeats alive
in a wondrous collection.
It’s the style of time
that greatly exposes
that many don’t see
due to snubbed up noses.
The lives of many
are counted as smiles
as the style of time
flows down many aisles.
Memories portioned
through a looking glass
as the style of time
that comes to pass.
The seasons will show
the greatest design
sweetly remembered,
the style of time.

A Life’s Journey

Hands without no one
and ones with a lot
leaves ones to wonder
what all that they’ve got.
Without a sad time,
but with better days
displays many journeys
of some wanted arrays.
For sinking ships of life
may not have some oars,
but still be with smiles
as their moments time soars.
It’s the view within with
or without what shall be
that concludes of the sight
or way that ones see.
We might see ones lacking
in what all we’ve got,
yet with or without
they might have a lot.
For ones filled with greed
and pockets with holes
are with or without
a life’s wanted goals.
Yet a life’s journey
with very few needs
with or without
finds God intercedes.

Across The Way

Standing on some
rocks with waves
time is billowed
timeless days.
Scenes as echoes
time that’s found,
across the way
is solid ground.
Waves a crashing
on the shore,
scenes collected
I adore.
Across the way
behind my eyes,
the sea displays
some foggy skies.
Blue with passion
day to day,
I still dream
across the way.

Summer’s Pond

Tiny ripples
so precise,
summer’s pond
beneath the skies.
Seasons threshold
finds a clue,
grasses growing
thereunto.
Summer’s pond
is there to show,
it gives essence
grass to grow.
As we pass by
then and there,
summer’s pond
is unaware.
It just ripples
in its way
with its stories
day to day.

My Dad And I

The years have passed
and time has told
my dad and I
from days of old.
The pages turned
and now I see
my dad and I
through history.
The years ahead
of timeless days
brought us through
a moments maze.
Yet the doorways
opened wide
and my dad and I
walked inside.
We connected
by and by
as time took steps
my dad and I.
Dad’s in Heaven
now today
as I have grown
so old and gray.
I still feel him
within my heart
my dad and I
shall never part.
The scenes of time
shall stay in place
my dad and I
we’re saved by grace.

A Certain Scene

Seeming painted
time’s displayed,
snow filled winters
Christmas made.
A certain scene
with snow of white
makes a dream
to come in sight.
A certain scene
in our front yard
can be made
a Christmas card.
The rooftop glistens
whitish phase
found within
those winter days.
Distant trees
are seen as well
a certain scene
of times detail.
The time is now
but just a dream
of Christmastime
a certain scene.

A Teardrop Falls

A life begins
and then it ends
to begin agin
as time transcends.
A teardrop falls
as time is made,
someone’s day
is lifeless laid.
The pages turn
to other scenes,
a teardrop falls
becoming streams.
The essence of
a family
is found within
what God gave free.
A teardrop falls
for ending days,
but then begins
another phase.

Seascape Home

Ships seen sailing
across the way,
a seascape home
of day to day.
A picture painted,
sights to see
displays motions
oceans free.
With the artwork
time stands still,
a seascape home
that times fulfill.
Abstract scenes
so pictured true,
a seascape home
within the view.
Each with portions
ones have known
an ocean view
and seascape home.

Winter’s Pond

Trees reflections,
winter’s pond
says the season’s
almost gone.
The reflection
shows a barn
of reddish hue
with winters yarn.
Leaves from fall
are melting true,
winter’s pond
displays its view.
Ageless moments
come alive
times reflections
in my eyes.
Minutes frolic
in the sun,
winter’s pond
has just begun.

Snowy River

Wintertime’s chanting
for rivers run wild
while the snow’s melting
for springs reconcile.
A small snowy river
makes pathways to find
wintertime’s journey
with a cold state of mind.
Summertime’s memoir
is that of a place
found in the heartbeat
of a seasonal taste.
Yet a snowy river
still flows as it will
while it is writing
with a snow melted quill.
Yes this snowy river
is a blessing from God
as springtime awakens
with life to applaud.

Rising Lights

Hours have passed on
to leave certain sights,
stars that will twinkle,
those great rising lights.
Of course they are always
there which to shine,
but when the day’s risen
the stars don’t entwine.
Evening brings glimmers
that twinkle so bright
along with the moon
that’s found in the night.
The scenes all become
an enchanted design
found in the night sky
a sweet dream of time.
Rising lights of evening
show wonderful sights
with firefly’s flying
as magical sprites.
The heavens awaken
to display so fine
rising lights of night
from God so divine.

Haiku
for Sept 17,  2016

A place of a rose
displays certain ways to grow
that it can survive.

Sights of a dreamer
might become something so true
if it’s meant to be.

In a painters mind
lives the existence of time
with abstract colors.

A bumblebee’s choice
is determined when it’s born
and it accepts it.

A sound of nature
becomes a dreamers ocean
with waves crashing through.

Summertime’s raindrops
fall as blessings from the sky
and often nightmares.

A stargazers sight
begins with an assumption
that there’s more to see.

Our windows and doors
are true magnets to trouble
when opened too fast.

Shelter from a storm
can be a mere willow tree
that weeps just for you.

Mood changing moments
can be detoured with choices
not to get angry.

Lessons from our past
might be the things we hated,
but taught us so well.

Starlight of design
is a sailors guide of life
as a map of lights.

Flames of a fire
can consume many hours
within its lifespan.

Chance is a moment
that comes at a precise time
and then it is passed.

Holding on to things
can become stacks of baggage
without room for new.

People and places
become known for where they’re from
and not who they are.

A persons actions
becomes others perceptions
as daylight meets night.

Perfection is flawed,
for we are all imperfect
flaws of perfection.

Desires of the heart
can lead you down the wrong path,
so use common sense.

Beyond what we see
is a sky filled with wonder
and some mysteries.

In a moments pause
there is still life moving on,
for time continues.

Life and death is real,
but many don’t understand,
with death there is life.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

The days are passing slowly up this way.
Our Labor Day went well.  Judy and I as
well as the boys went over Judy’s sister
Trudy’s house and had some good food
and enjoyed the family.  The boys had a
good time playing with their cousins,  but
I think Rocky was pretty much ready to
go home before long,  but Benny always
wants to stay longer.  Oh well,  such is
life LOL.  The temperature is still staying
in the 60’s and 70’s.  We had a couple of
days last week that got in the lower 80’s,
but even that wasn’t too bad.  Today’s
high is supposed to be 70 F. Right now
at 4 PM it’s 66 F.  It rained a little bit this
morning and earlier this morning before
light the electricity went off and stayed
off for an hour or so.  Benny got scared.
He’s the only dog I know of that’s afraid
of the dark hehehe.  I turned on our little
backup lantern to give light until the sun
started coming up and then turned it off.
The electricity came back on just a few
moments later 🙂  I was fortunate that I
glanced at my weather program before
we went bed and I noticed that it was
supposed to rain so I went and closed all
of the windows.  LOL good thing I did.
So,  what else has happened this passed
week?  Well,  Judy’s family and others
all began demo at her brothers house to
get it ready to be remodeled with items
to help Ricky get around when he gets
out of the nursing home.  There’s a lot
to do before Ricky can move back in his
old house.  It has not been taken care of
and there are many problems.  Hopefully
they can get it fixed up for him before he
is released to come home.  I’m sure it
will be in better shape than it is right
now.  So what else is in the news for the
Pearce’s Place?  Well,  Judy and I went
and got hot dogs and ice cream at the
Houlton Farms Dairy.  They’ve got a
small business that sells their ice cream
and such just a few months out of the
year.  Judy I try to go there at least once
or twice a year.  There’s another one
in Hodgdon Maine,  but they closed up
shop a little earlier than the one that we
go to in Houlton.  It will be closing in a
few weeks.  We might go again before
it closes for the year 🙂  Wintertime is
quickly coming.  It’ll be here before you
know it.  Though fall will make a short
lived appearance with colors and Judy
and I will do our best to capture the
colors with our trusty cameras 🙂  We
are planning on taking another trip
back down to Baxter State Park this
fall to see what all we can find to take
pictures of that’s colorful.  I’m sure
we’ll find a lot of colors.  But of course
until then,  we must just wait.  There’s
still a lot of time before autumn hehehe.
Ok next topic.  I’ve done quite a few
more picture poems.  I’m not sure if
I’ve mentioned that I am doing picture
poems LOL,  so now I am whether I
have or have not mentioned it LOL 🙂
To date I have done 44 and a few of
them are poems I’ve written for Judy’s
paintings.  She’s getting pretty good at
painting.  She even painted a picture
of me using an old photo of me from
years ago down at Port Aransas TX.
I’ll add it in the stationery along with
a few of her recent paintings.  Now
she’s painting a picture of the flag and
twin towers in remembrance of 9 11.
Yes,  this is a day I remember too well.
I thank God that my nephew Zack
was not at work in the towers that day.
So many lost their lives in that sad
moment of history,  but then we must
also remember,  many have lost their
lives fighting for our freedom and in
many cases sent to battle in senseless
wars that we had no business in.  But
that is done and in the past and we
must now focus on the future and try
to do the best we can to give our youth
a future for them and their kids and
grand kids.  Too often we will allow
our minds to only see what involves
us at the moment and not see what
that procures a pathway for days to
come and others future including our
own families of the future.  There are
still many that live in the past with all
of their judgments about women and
their participation in life of the now.
That’s just a small degree of what’s
stuck in peoples minds that still live in
the past.  Racial and many other things
keep getting focused on rather than
seeing each one of us as brothers and
sisters of a different look, style and
way of life.  I was raised not to be
prejudice and see us each one as the
same,  but yet to hate the actions,  not
the person.  God has been good to us.
Judy and I are still enjoying life even
though we do have a few problems.
The problems are what that bring us
together,  just as disasters in life will
bring ones together that otherwise
would of never known of one another.
With the bad comes knowledge of the
things that are good that we might
have forgotten or overlooked.  Don’t
let the bad to be all that you see.  Look
for the blessings in life and I’m sure
you will find them.  Now, I believe it’s
time for me to take a little trip back
through all that I’ve written here to
see if I can find a good word or phrase
that I can use for the title for today’s
brand new poem.  So,  it’s away I go
to that place of my recollection that
I always like to call RECOLLECT
VILLE.  I think I found a decent title
about a 3rd of the way back in my
rambling LOL.  Now to see if I can
write a decent poem using it.  Here
goes…..

Senseless Wars

Timeless moments
now and then,
senseless wars
were sought to win.
Many soldiers
fought to find
life of freedom
for mankind.
Yet too often
all we see
is times we fought
through history.
But those moments
timeless found
brought us sometimes
only ground.
Lands of natives
took in stride
as so many
fought and died.
Senseless wars
of all mankind
brought a storm
for ones to find.
Lose the senseless
see what’s true.
Don’t let wars
be all we do.
Look for likeness,
learn to live,
a human nation
life to give.
Wars of present
now displays
senseless moments
bitter ways.
We should all now
look inside
and make God’s love
to be applied.

Sept 11,  2016

I hope you liked my poem and maybe
even my rambling hehehe.  It seems I
have a lot on my mind about all of the
hatred that has been stirred up by a
certain man and of course what has
been going on for ages.  It makes my
heart hurt to see so much hatred in
the world.  Of course I know that’s
not the full picture,  because there is
a lot of love being shared also.  That
makes me smile.  I guess it’s true,  that
without the bad,  the good what not
be noticed.  There has to be 2 sides
of the coin to make it a whole,  but
I wish it was not that way.  I’m sure
God is in control and in the end,  all
will be as it should be.  We might even
see a few in Heaven that we thought
could never make it LOL.  Remember,
we’re not the judge and jury of who
goes to Heaven.  That’s God’s part.
So the next time you say to someone
or think that they are going to Hell,
remember,  you might not be seeing
the full picture.  Only God truly knows.
Now I believe it’s time for me to be
telling you what I tell you almost every
week and that is,  I wrote some more
poems and haiku.  Yeppers,  10 more
poems,  but with a few extras hehehe.
6 extras that I wrote for my picture
poetry which ups the count to 16 🙂
I also wrote 22 more haiku for all of
the haiku lovers out there.  Nope,  no
Christmas poems this week.  Maybe
next week.  Now with that said I need
to begin my search for that hardly
elusive off switch,  but not before I
wish you a most wonderful weekend
or whatever’s left of it and a blessings
filled week.  Remember,  Jesus loves
you and we do too.  Where oh where
can that off switch be hiding?  Hmm,
I think I see something out of place.
Yeppers,  there ya are.  LOL hiding
behind my PC camera again.  That’s
not the greatest place to hide,  being
it isn’t that big and it tends to wobble
when you lean on it.  Try harder next
time 🙂  Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S  A link to Judy’s new book as at

A Wave Of Life

The days the phase
of times gone by,
a wave of life
is you and I.
We walked the shores
of thereunto
upon the beach
of ocean blue.
A wave of life
was in the skies
that God had given
for our eyes.
The scenes of time
became much more,
a wave of life,
an ocean shore.
The stage was set
for you and I,
the days the phase
of by and by.
We’d walk upon
the sands of time,
a wave of life
that’s so divine.
Our hearts connected
timeless scenes,
a wave of life
that’s now our dreams.
We now still find
those times live on,
within our minds
they’re never gone.
A wave of life
so fancy free
is now within
our history.
Pictures taken
a wave of life
you and I
husband and wife.

From Bill Pearce

Its Search For Night

The sun will set
and leave its trail,
a wondrous view
to then set sail.
The sky lives on
another day
the sun will dawn
with its display
Yet with nighttime
comes a view
a starry sky
so timeless true.
Painted pathways
now and then
the night moves on
until its end.
Then the sunshine
oh so bright
begins again
its search for night.

A Distant Scene

Beyond the trees
a view is found,
a sight to see
that’s all around.
A distant scene,
a mountain top
that never seems
to ever stop.
The view is made
when I look through,
the sights inlaid
to something new.
A distant scene
of far and wide,
beyond a stream
was set aside.
Pictures gleam
of burning ember,
a distant scene
that I’ll remember.

Road To The Sky

Scarred by minutes
as echoes repeat,
a road to the sky
that so many meet.
Its beauty is endless
as clouds overcome
a road to the sky,
with each beating drum.
Angels awaken
with wings to ascend
a road to the sky
where timeless begins.
This road in the picture
with power lines strung
might be of the essence
for Heaven begun.
Our view is clouded
as we’re looking through
a road to the sky
with a limited view.

A Bird In A Painting

A charismatic picture
with bird found in flight
displays such a glimmer
a rustic style sight.
Brush strokes of minutes
then paint the days sun
as storys unfolding
of time frames begun.
A bird in a painting
might surely fly free
if the artist perception
is such then to see.
Each little frame
in the picture displays
a bird in a painting
with waters to wave.
The sun is seen clouded
with an ocean of blue
as a bird in a painting
then fades out of view.

Lighthouse Dreams

A picture painting
scented scenes,
displays colors
lighthouse dreams.
Oceans rhythms
crash the shore,
lighthouse dreams
of evermore.
Time’s a doorway
traveled through,
lighthouse dreams
a painters view.
In the picture
now and then,
lighthouse dreams
remember when.
Each with colors
rainbow streams,
found within the
lighthouse dreams.

A Seasons Life

Worried minds
begin a style
searching for
a little smile.
A life to find
as cancer free,
a seasons life
to truly be.
Many echoes
you and I,
a seasons life
hello goodbye.
So don’t forget
that path inlaid,
a seasons life
that cancer made.
Show your love
by giving true,
a seasons life
to be anew.

Artwork Of Clouds

Various stages
of ages of styles,
billowy artwork’s
time to compile.
Clouds of a moment
raindrops to fall,
artwork’s desires
standing so tall.
Scenes oh so fluffy
white unto gray,
artwork is seasoned
timeless inlaid.
Found as a threshold
painted by God,
artwork with passion
angels applaud.
Time is a portion
covered with shrouds,
moments arrival
artwork of clouds.

Highway Of Life

A journey of miles
with speed bumps of time,
the highway of life
might be just a rhyme.
A few moments rhythms
as minutes and days,
the highway of life
in so many ways.
Teardrops might follow
the journey so far
as the highway of life
leaves many a scar.
Sections we’ve driven
might not be so clear,
the highway of life
of our yesteryear.
Yet as the wheels roll
and time moves along,
the highway of life
will still sing its song.

A Hoot

The dark of night
prepares a hoot
as owls await
their lives repute.
The moon above
so big and round
can give a hoot
it’s wondrous sound.
Sounding as echoes
across the way
a hoot in time
moves on till day.
Their perch so high
in trees of style
to give a hoot
a moments while.
Then a young one
watches and waits
for mom and dad
to delegate.
Until the day
he’s just like them

A Place And A Time

An emerging flower
blossoms and blooms
timeless encountered
the sunshine illumes.
A place and a time
that minutes foretell
a flowers own blossom
might tell of a tale.
Scenes of aromas
will billow and sway
as a place and a time
displays day to day.
Breezes then blowing
with showers of rain
make all the flowers
to seem as champagne.
Poured out like water
their flavors design,
this is the story,
a place and a time.

Shadowchaser

Deep in the night light
I might be chasing
shadows of a moment
that time is erasing.
A scene that the moon
will enhance then to be
a shadow of something
that my eyes can see.
So I a shadowchaser
search for a clue
the reason for the sight
that came into view.
Another page of night
that turned to confusion
that might just become
a moments illusion.
Yet I for the moment
will find in the scenes
a shadowchaser life
that might just be dreams.

I Can See

So many blessings,
so many prayers,
I can see daily
what Lord God prepares.
Each with a glimmer,
each with a shine,
I can see chances
for blessings sublime.
Doorways to lifestyles,
yours and mine both,
I can see hopeful
for us to find growth.
Sad bitter moments
with life gone astray,
I can see angels
to help us each day.
Now is a blessing
that we need to view,
which I can see daily
that ones misconstrue.
Don’t let your journey
to become as a day
that all of the bad times
took your joy away.
Look passed the sadness
and see what that’s there,
for I can see time frames
as answers to prayer.

Silhouette Of Summer

Seasons sun is shining
as a moment bestows,
a silhouette of summer
that seems like shadows.
Life across the walkway
of an evenings delight,
a silhouette of summer
is loosing its light.
It’s magical essence
is an ocean style dream,
a silhouette of summer
that’s best that I’ve seen.
Memories of passion
that then brought upon,
a silhouette of summer
that went on and on.
Footsteps were heightened
as the magic began,
a silhouette of summer
that was oh so grand.

More Than Words

Actions reactions
minutes attained
more than words
someone is framed.
Pictured moments
night and day
more than words
might be dismay.
Seasons voices
spoke upon
more than voices
carries on.
What’s remembered
time’s will tell
more than words
a ship set sail.
Lessons gathered
like some birds
actions tell it
more than words.

Tiny Pond

Geese are splashing
there upon
the roundabouts
a tiny pond.
Within this pond
there sits a child
while the geese
are just run wild.
This tiny pond
of summers day
is filled with joy
as geese will play,
for the child
that sits so still
is just a statue
not so real.
The geese don’t care
and still splash on
without a care
this tiny pond.

Haiku
for Sept 10,  2016

Time is just a time
and a place is just a place,
but a life is great.

Mysteries of life
often come in form of clouds
and how that they form.

Heart felt emotions
come as glimmers of starlight
within the night sky.

Chances for changes
are so often misconceived
and left to wither.

Without a window
our views would be limited
so don’t paint it black.

Showers of raindrops
and wintertime’s snow that falls
displays the changes.

Beyond perception
holds dreams of different worlds
that we do not know.

Evolving lifestyles
can become less connected
or joined much better.

A ghost in the night
that makes many things rattle
might want attention.

A fleeting moment
might be the most important,
so don’t miss the chance.

Bees seeking honey
might fly for many hours,
before finding it.

Red is a color
that many discern as blood,
but it’s also life.

Winter waits to come
as summer just takes its time
to welcome autumn.

In someone’s story
there might live fictional life
that could become true.

Delayed emotions
can be an insincere sign
that’s without concern.

Mornings arrival
might display many changes
that you were blind to.

Long awaited dreams
will often be unwanted
as we grow with life.

Time in the mirror
can display many wrinkles
that ones do not know.

Various angles
give many different views
to see good and bad.

When guarding your heart
you might prevent God’s blessings
to shine in your life.

A mountain that’s painted
might hold seasons remembered
within its view.

Stages that are set
are often left with chances
for different scenes.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

I hope you have been doing well.  This passed
week has been a great one for me.  I turned 60
last Wednesday Aug 31.  Judy and I took a lil
picture taking drive down some back roads on
our way up to Presque Isle to have my birthday
dinner at the Governor’s Restaurant.  We got
a lot of nice pictures and OH MY,  the food 🙂
The Governor’s Restaurant had put 10 dollars
on my Governor’s card and so we used that to
help pay for our dinner.  Judy had BBQ ribs
and I had the Seafood Platter.  Neither of us
could eat it all,  so we asked for a take home
box.  There was enough left for at least two
more good meals LOL.  So all in all,  it was
not that expensive when you consider that it
provided us both 3 meals.  The weather up
this way is very nice.  Yesterday (Saturday)
was a high of 58 F. Today’s high is 75 F and
that is what it is right this moment.  Yeppers,
it’s 3 PM and very nice outside.  Monday of
last week I took the boys on a little field trip
and took pictures of the add on that our dear
landlord is gonna one day soon (hopefully) 🙂
attach to our home.  Benny and Rocky went
all around it investigating it LOL.  I’ll add a
picture of it in the stationery.  As I said,  the
week has very blissful.  Judy has been busy
doing more painting.  I began a second try
at painting,  but had to stop to let the paint
dry so I could continue and haven’t yet to
of finished it.  Of course I don’t expect it to
be much better than my last,  but we shall
see 🙂  So that’s something I am hoping to
get done maybe tomorrow if there aren’t
too many clouds in the sky.  We don’t have
much lighting in the living room and so we
have to do painting with the curtains opened
to let in the sunlight.  Though Judy’s begun
doing many of her paintings in here and
that is a thought,  being the picture that I
printed out for me to paint is not all that
great.  My printer is not working well and
the picture is sketchy at most LOL.  So,
if I do the painting in here,  I can use the
picture off of my computer to continue 🙂
No matter,  one way or another,  one day
or another it’ll get done hehehe.  I could
hear Rocky barking just now and had to
go and let the boys in.  Benny lets rocky
do all of the barking,  just like he used to
do with Milo LOL.  The shadows of Milo
are alive in our home.  His spirit is alive
and well.  Anyways,  next topic if I can
think of one hehehe.  Judy went down to
Bangor with her sister Friday and while
she was gone,  I took the boys and we
went to town and did a little shopping
and paying bills.  Then on the way home
I stopped off at Dunkin Donuts and got
Judy and I a dozen donuts for later,  then
I took a little scenic back roads picture
taking drive.  The boys loved it.  I rolled
down the back windows and they spent
most of the time looking out the windows
and also poking their heads up between
the seats to say howdy from time to time.
I found many things to take pictures of 🙂
I’d drive for a while and then stop when
I saw something good to take pictures
of,  then get out and walk around and
take pictures.  Though there were a few
times I just held the camera up to the
front or side window and snapped a few
photos not knowing if I was actually
getting any decent pictures,  but then
hey,  it’s not like I’m wasting film like
the days of old LOL.  Yeppers  me and
the boys had a good drive.  It was just
them and me on the old country roads.
We passed by a few combines doing the
harvest and I stopped and got a few shots
of them as they smiled and waved at me.
Yep  last week was pretty nice.  Judy
went with her sister this morning back
up to Eagle Lake to see their brother
and mom.  So it’s just me and the boys
once again.  They’ve grown quite used
to it.  They’re both in here with me now
lying in the floor.  I had to stop a bit
ago and give Rocky a little bath.  He
had a poopy butt LOL.  He was ecstatic
when I did that and got done.  The silly
things get all full of spunk especially
after the bath hehehe.  I could tell that
something was wrong because his tail
was down and he always has it curled
up and a happy camper.  So I checked
and sure enough,  he needed a bath 🙂
We are so thankful to have these little
boys with us.  They brighten our days
with their wagging tails and little smiles.
I am just hoping and praying that if our
landlord sells the property that we are
not without a home.  I guess we will
have to wait and see.  There are things
that I do not like about this place,  but
there are many things that I love about
living up here out in the country.  The
privacy and ability to make as much
noise on my conga drums as I want 🙂
I couldn’t do that in town.  Plus I love
the snow and the seasons.  All my life
I hated the Texas weather being I’m so
hot natured and snow is not something
that there is much of,  at least where
we lived.  It does get cold up here,  but
like I said,  I’m hot natured so the cold
I can deal with LOL.  Thank You God
for all of the blessings that You have
given us and Your unending love and
forgiveness.  I reckon it’s time for me
to be looking back on all that I have
written here to see if I can find a good
word or phrase that I can use for the
title for today’s brand new poem.  So
it’s away I go to that little place of my
recollection that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I found
a decent title about a 3rd of the way
back in my rambling about Rocky LOL.
Now to see what I can do with it.  Here
goes nothing hehehe.  Maybe so,  but
I hope not LOL.

Something Was Wrong

Those times we stop
and look around
and think we hear
a wrongful sound,
might be the times
we’ve surely heard
a moments sound
that’s so absurd.
A time we knew
something was wrong,
a smell,  a noise
or saddened song.
The scenes we see
from day to night
show the minutes
wrong and right.
So as moments
come into frame
pay close attention
times to attain.
For then you’ll know
something was wrong
when life displays
a time that’s gone.
A saddened scene
that time displays
might then be
of wrongful ways.
A time you knew
that wasn’t right
something was wrong
God shed His Light.
Then the passage
times expose
will find a way
to lose the lows.
Something wrongful
will be changed
a better time
that God arranged.

There ya go LOL.  A poem that began with
a title of me talking about Rocky hehehe 🙂
Yep,  it’s weird how that poem came about,
but hey,  it worked,  I think LOL!  Well the
boys have moved off into the living room and
are now sitting in front of the door waiting
for Judy to get home.  They’ll ever so often
come and poke their lil heads in here to see
what I’m doing and then head back to their
look out stations LOL.  It’s still 75 F degrees,
but now it’s 5 PM 😉  It looks as though that
is pretty much the weather for the majority
of the week.  There might be a day or so in
the low 80’s,  but that ain’t too bad hehehe.
Oh yea,  good news,  my sister is now 100%
cancer free.  Thank You God 🙂  Hallelujah.
There isn’t much else that I can think of to
tell you,  other than the normal and that is,
I wrote some more poems and haiku.  Yep,
10 more poems with an extra that makes
11.  Among those poems are 3 Christmas
poems.  I also wrote 22 more haiku for all
of the haiku lovers out there.  I hope you
can find 1 or 2 of either or both that you
like.  Now I believe it’s time for me to be
searching for that confounded off switch,
but not before I wish you all a wonderful
weekend or whatever’s left of it and truly
blessings filled week.  Remember,  Jesus
loves you and we do too.  Now,   where is
that ornery off switch trying (using that
term very loosely hehehe) to hide?  Well,
I be a monkeys uncle (no comments from
my daughter Jamye now LOL)  I think
I see that little varmint hiding within the
pajama pieces that I cut off of the legs
of my pajamas,  because they were too
long.  Yep,  I see ya you dad gum little
whippersnapper hehehe.  Next time try
hiding in or even behind them.  Not on
them.  I’m using them as dust cloths,  so
they might still be around 🙂  Maybe next
week you’ll hide a little better,  but guess
what,  Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S  A link to Judy’s new book as at
the end of the journal along with the
others.  Enjoy 🙂

Now it’s on with the poems and haiku
10+1 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Tracks Of Time

Journeys forward
time begins
bringing choices
there and then.
Tracks of time
are forged upon
times momentum
traveled on.
Scenes displaying
timeless ways
found within
the distant days.
Signs are painted
times will pass
with a trains own
shadows casts.
Then that whistle
of design
tells the story
tracks of time.

Seascape Mind

Those magical moments
of a seascape mind
are a page full of waves
in an essence of time.
Seagulls found flying
searching the shore
with their seascape mind
above the ocean floor.
Waves come a crashing
in the mornings sunrise
with seagulls searching
for food to arrive.
Then a photographer
seeks for a view
with a seascape mind
of the ocean blue.
Life’s filled with magic
as minutes will find
when scenes come alive
in a seascape mind.

A Year Is Just A Year

Time is just a number
that many focus on,
a year is just a year
as passed days are gone.
Life is just a rhythm
that has many drums,
you and I together
might be different sums.
Life is a mystery
providing many scenes,
a year is just a year
with so many dreams.
Some find beginnings
of each day and night
a time that’s discovered
that’s filled full of fright.
Then many others
will use time sincere,
for now’s just a moment
a year is just a year.

A Stream,  A Dream

A time sublime
with seasons sights,
becomes a stage
of days and nights.
A stream,  a dream
of thereunto
can then become
a wondrous view.
A page,  an age
of when and where
can be a time
that none compare.
A flights delight
becomes a bird,
a time,  a rhyme
that minutes heard.
Without a glance
a certain scene
is scent and sound,
a stream,  a dream.

Repetitious

Mistakes we make
with choices made
in time are only
how we wade.
For too often
wrongly going
is so often
how we’re growing.
Repetitious
timely fashions
are so often
chosen rations.
Repeating every
thing you do
is often showing
what that’s you.
Repetitious
can be good
if you’re doing
what you should.

When The Chime Chimes

Christmas bells ringing,
time begins showing
when the chime chimes
wintertime’s snowing.
Seasonal ventures
with stories to hear,
when the chime chimes
of our yesteryear.
Books read to children
of seasons delight
about Christmas wonders
that came into sight.
When the chime chimes
a miracle sings,
a time for an angel
to then get his wings.
Christmas with magic
and love so alive,
when the chime chimes
it’s time to revive.
Finding all the blessings
from wonderful signs,
Christmas delightful
when the chime chimes.
God and His Majesty
brings forth a view,
when the chime chimes
from old to anew.
Christmas gives chances
to seek out a smile
when the chime chimes
with love to compile.
Look passed the misery
and see what that’s there
when the chime chimes
your answers to prayer.
Often many answers
to prayers you and I
are answered as blessings
that we know not why.
God has His reasons
to do what He does
when the chime chimes
of times just because.
So within Christmas
give God your designs
and make them your patterns
when the chime chimes.

Paths Through Snow

Time remembers
what all it’s shown
daylight to dark
and all that is known.
Heartbeats of windows
with ones looking through
time becomes echoes
of then thereunto.
Wintertime’s wonders
December’s expose
up in the winter world
where all it snows.
Christmas is heightened
with everything seen
snow colored pathways
that are no longer green.
Time remembers
Christmastime cheer
with the paths through snow
of Santa’s reindeer.
Time becomes magic
as jingles of bells
with all the stories
our lifetime foretells.
Peace in the meadows
Christmas Eve night
waiting for Santa Claus
to then take flight.
Even the bible stories
enlightened to read
Jesus Christ coming
to give what we need.
Blessings uncountable
become the view
time frames of Christmas
old and anew.
Scenes are so wondrous
in each to and fro
as I remember the
paths through snow.

A Moment Begins

The hands of a clock
show minutes to gain
time frames surmounted
that we’re to attain.
A moment begins
even when we’re still,
for time will continue
with things to fulfill.
A moment begins
when right then is gone,
for life will always
move on and on.
Found as a spirit
known as a ghost,
or along with Jesus
our Heavenly Host.
Time is a pathway
that’s maybe not seen
as ones continue
to live in a dream.
Sometimes a dreamer
will lose their way
as a moment begins
in their day to day.
Don’t let the dreamworld
to flourish your sins.
Let God to guide you
as a moment begins.

Effigy

A persons style,
a persons stance,
a timeless gaze
sees romance.
A painted picture
of someone
a sight in time
that’s said and done.
It’s an effigy
upon a coin.
A face that’s found
that times conjoin.
A little smile
of a distance face
an effigy
is found in place.
Upon a statute’s
sculptured time
there’s an image
then to find.
A sight imprinted
then to see,
which is known as
effigy.

Spirit Of The Well

Childhood memories
of wonderful things
come back as oceans
and glorious scenes.
Some as a field trip
with paths then explored
to find many things
my mind would record.
Then through the woods
my footsteps would lay
to find an old building,
a times other day.
A well then residing
with a bucket and rope
with a spirit inside it
to grant me much hope.
The voice was imagined,
but it could foretell
I should go home then,
the spirit in the well.

Life’s A Billow

Dreams of things
in Christmastime
become the scenes
found so divine.
Time is displayed
oh so sweet
what that God made
found complete.
Life’s a billow
then to find
a needed pillow
time to time.
Christmas sounds
of love and joy
then surrounds
each girl and boy.
Fragrant scenes
of many sights
flow like streams
in days and nights.
Memories
of snowy views
are like seas
of joyful hues.
The times the rhymes
as life’s a billow
are Christmastimes
dreamt on a pillow.
Life is stirred
to seasons made
a way a word
of times inlaid.
Life’s a billow
stories seen
upon a pillow
a Christmas dream.

Haiku
for Sept 3,  2016

Tomorrows sunrise
is a painting by morning
that’s seen after night.

Distorted minutes
are counted haphazardly
building confusion.

A bee that’s in flight
finds the flavors of flowers
most tantalizing.

Showers of raindrops
bring forth life that was withered,
so they live again.

With but a window
you can explore the outdoors,
but you cannot touch.

Living proof of life
is often beyond our sight,
for it is so small.

Without God’s blessings
life would be an empty void
without any light.

A passing rain cloud
might decide to rain on you
or just pass you by.

The leaves on the trees
become a colorful essence
as autumn begins.

Travels of our lives
might have some destinations
that we do not like.

Without our choices
we would be only robots
without any minds.

Peace is a blessing
that is often found inside
when it’s not outside.

Flowers of summer
have an appointed lifetime
that winter snows cease.

Washing away smiles
is done by ones hatefulness
but love can revive.

Our now and agins
might become lifestyles we live,
so take care with life.

A glamorized sunset
might have trees and the ocean
to greaten its view.

Northern winds of time
become wintertime’s pages
that often have snow.

Too close for comfort
a whirlwind of life might be
as it passes by.

Ones wound too tightly
might find themselves with problems
when their lives unwind.

The sight of a bird
gives feelings of amazement
as it sings its song.

Some trials by fire
might not show only lessons,
but many burn marks.

Disposing of hate
needs you to acquire love
unconditional.
