ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

I’m getting a late start on writing today
due to a bit of depression that came over
me,  but I’m a little better now.  I guess
depression is part of life.  Ups and downs
like a teeter totter LOL.  So onwards with
the journal.  It’s still a bit cold up this way.
Right now at 7 PM it’s 30 F degrees LOL.
We’re expecting more snow beginning late
tonight not ending maybe until tomorrow
night and then a few snow showers through
the week.  Spring???  It don’t feel like it 😉
Our hot water froze again last week and
we ran out of heating oil Thursday night.
The computer room is nice and warm,  but
the rest of the house is a bit chilly hehehe.
We’ve got a couple of portable radiator
heaters that we’re using in here and in our
bedroom,  but the one in the bedroom is
having a hard time keeping the room warm,
being it’s a fairly large room.  No matter,
it should begin warming up a bit in the
next week in April or so.  LOL there is
no guarantee on that,  but that’s what we’re
hoping on.  Of course when the weather
begins to get too warm for me,  I’ll be
wanting winter back LOL.  Anything over
75 F degrees is too warm for me.  I am very
hot natured and have suffered many heat
strokes in my life when I live in Texas.  So
I do better in winter time.  I’m sure our 2
snow dogs will miss the snow when/if it
ever finally melts LOL.  They do love to
romp and play in it.  The driveway could
be completely snowless and these 2 boys
will find the snow to go running around in.
Of course if it’s too deep for them to make
it through it,  they wait until I shovel them
a little trail,  but here lately being that the
snow has had an icy glaze on the top of it,
they have been able to walk on top of it,
but they still fall through time to time 🙂
They’ll hop out and continue on their way.
So,  it seems spring hasn’t fully found its
way up here yet,  but I hear it’s soon to be
here maybe as a stir in the night hehehehe.
It will be nice to be able to take the boys
out for a field trip without the fear of me
falling through the snow and having to
crawl out again.  Judy can’t walk through
it,  so I am looking forwards to her and
I with the boys taking our strolls out in
the field together and taking pictures 🙂
Right now,  Judy is in the kitchen baking
us some peanut butter cookies.  Yummy!
I’m guessing that the oven is keeping her
warm in there.  Yesterday morning I had
one of the top electric burners on simmer
to keep the kitchen warm enough while
I fixed her and I some breakfast hehehe.
LOL sounds like we live in Alaska don’t
it hehehe.  It’s now 27 F degrees at 7:30 PM.
It dropped 3 degrees in 30 minutes LOL.
It shows on my weather program that it’s
supposed to start snowing early Monday
morning around 5 or 6 o’clock,  but we
shall see.  I might get out with the boys
and play with them while it’s snowing,
who knows hehehe.  I do love the snow.
I just don’t care for the slush that comes
afterwards when springtime begins its
season of melting.  Also I don’t care for
the snow much when it gets glazed over
and becomes merely ice that causes many
slips and falls.  My old body has been
fallen to the ground so many times that
it always aches due to broken bones and
bruises.  I have some cleats that attach
to the bottom of my shoes,  but I don’t
wear them always,  being the cleats can
really mess up a floor and car floorboard.
I’m a tough old bird and I’ll survive 🙂
of course with a lot of aches and pains.
So,  what else is going on around this
place?  Hmm,  well,  Judy finished with
the cookies and she’s in here browsing
the internet on her PC.  The boys are
over there pestering her for treats,  but
they have had their treats and they have
dried food in their dog food pans.  So,
if they are that hungry,  they can eat
healthy food.  Treats are not meant to
be eaten as their major diet,  plus they
cost quite a lot and we can’t afford to
give them treats every time they want
them.  There’s not much else to tell you.
The Pearce’s Place is pretty much on a
regular scheduled tour.  Last night we
watched Ghost Adventures and it was
a pretty good episode 🙂  Our home is
still filled with love.  Yes we have our
share of troubles,  but God is always
at work taking care of us.  He allows
what that’s necessary and then holds
His mighty hand up to halt any further.
So,  I reckon it’s time for me to begin
my little journey back through all that
I’ve written here to see if I can find me
a good word or phrase that I can use
for the title for today’s brand new poem.
With that said,  it’s away I go to that
place of my recollection that I always
like to call RECOLLECT VILLE 🙂
And so after looking back through all
of my rambling I think I may have
found a good title about a 3rd of the
way back through my writings.  So now
to see if I can do anything with it LOL.
Here goes nothing,  but I hope not 🙂

Fallen To The Ground

Timeless our struggles
may seem when they’re found
yet there are lessons
when fallen to the ground.
Seasons of follies
with moments mistakes
often bring lessons
from many heartaches.
Seeming as endless
a time frame might be
a seasons on threshold
that you need to see.
Falling to the ground
may be the only way
to show you the lessons
from day unto day.
Yet as a storm cloud
the rains will then cease
as fallen to the ground
gives moments of peace.

There ya go.  I hope the poem made some
sense to ya.  If not,  then,  maybe next week.
I can’t always write something that works 🙂
and there’s no way that I can please everyone
at the same time LOL.  It just cannot be done.
Nope and some people can never be pleased,
because they’re too freaking picky.  Oh well,
I do my best.  So hmm,  I wonder if I’ve got
anything else that I need to tell you other than
the norm hehehe?  Nope,  nothing I can think
of.  So I reckon it’s time for me to be telling
you what I tell you every week and that is,
I wrote some more poems and haiku.  Yep,
10 more poems with an added 6 due to ye
ole picture poems LOL.  Also I once again
wrote 22 haiku for all of the haiku lovers
out there.  Nope,  no Christmas poems this
week hehehe.  I hope you can find 1 or 2 of
either or both that you like.  Now with that
said it’s time for me to begin my search for
that horrible at hiding off switch,  but not
before I wish you a most joyous weekend
or whatever is left of it and truly blessings
filled week.  Remember,  Jesus loves you
and we do too.  Now,  where pray tell is
that dadgum off switch trying to hide this
week and I use the term hide very loosely 🙂
Hmm,  where is that silly thing hiding this
time?  Wow,  getting good 🙂  BUT,  hmm,
I don’t think my camera is supposed to be
rocking back and forth hehehe.  Here,  let
me see what it is.  Well,  hello there LOL.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

The Weather Clock

Noticed but slightly
a flower bestows
the time of the season
it blossoms and grows.
Tis but a weather clock
of timeless detail,
a momentous journey
the seasons entail.
Maybe just a glimmer
or maybe just a glance
this is the weather clock
that time does enhance.
When as the petals
are blown in the breeze,
this is the weather clock
that floats in life’s seas.
Taking but a moment
to be something more,
the flower falls asleep
just like times before.
This is the weather clock
that shows summers end
and finds in its journey
a flight in the wind.

Motions

Simple rhythms
slightest motions
can be viewed as
words of oceans.
With emotions
counted true,
motions come in
with a view.
So let motions
show your phase
so that ones know
how to gaze.

Hidden Lake

Sweet memories
of autumn days
found in photos
give a gaze.
Wondrous moments
seen so bright
mark the seasons
daily light.
The stage was set
a time to take
with autumn leaves
and hidden lake.
Minutes prospered
come in view
hidden lake
seen thereunto.
The autumn leaves
with colors bright
make the lake then
out of sight.

Lying In Snow

One winter’s evening
I found it just right
to lie down in snow then
that was oh so white.
It felt like a pillow,
it felt like a bed,
the cold snow of winter
where I laid my head.
The snow was melting
and soaking me through
while I was lying
enjoying the view.
While lying in the snow
I found I was froze
soon with my fingers
down to my toes.
Minutes passed quickly
in white snow of winter
while I just laid there
found front and center.
I laid there a while
as time took its toll
and my back was all wet
while lying in snow.

Peace From Within

As a journey inside
our mind can display
mountains and hills
in a wonderful way.
Lying in a hammock
swinging in the breeze
peace from within then
comes with much ease.
Humming a little tune
or just lying in rest
peace from within
can be the very best.
It can help you to find
a moments relief
with peace from within
of Heaven’s belief.
A journey through time
with hopes to ascend,
love from Lord God
gives peace from within.

A Distant View

So faraway
with hills so high
a scene is found
with cloudy sky.
A lake of life
displays a scene
a distant view,
a wondrous dream.
Beyond the trees
where we could see
a distant view
showed wondrously.
A stage was set
with scenery
a moments time
of life to see.
Like a painting
a poetic hue,
time’s displayed
a distant view.

Summer’s Memories

We strode along
the waves of life
hand in hand
I and my wife.
The day displayed
a family
a timeless scene
within the sea.
The oceans waves
would splash about
summer’s memories
without a doubt.
We then walked on
while looking true
at fun in the sun
hazy sky of blue.
Time was counted
within the breeze
the best of times
summer’s memories.

Winter Window

Scenes like glass
with whitish haze
pictured through
a days displays.
A winter window
opens wide
then allowing
looks inside.
Winters portrait
scenic glance
glazed as glass
a moments dance.
Snow is billowed
in the scene
a winter window
light agleam.
Mirrored images
far and wide
scenic gestures
time applied.
This is but a
certain view
winter window
that’s seen through.

Certain Peace

When you see
an unknown door
prepare yourself
to walk the floor.
Contrive a plan
to then begin
beyond the time
of now and then.
A certain peace
can truly breathe
if you firstly
then conceive.
A prayed prayer
before the view,
the steps in time
you daily do.
Seek the blessings
times release
a moments view
a certain peace.

Falling Into Poetry

Lost in a wording
a simple little phrase,
we’re often falling
in a poetic gaze.
Things that we’ve seen
and heard to fulfill,
found as a shadow
a momentous thrill.
Falling into poetry
as an unknown world,
rolling down a hill
with moments unfurled.
Time is a doorway
to poetic words,
flying through the sky
as a flock of wild birds.
Falling into poetry
brings forth a view,
painted with a thought
of old and anew.

Evening’s Sun

When day’s at end
and time is gone
evening’s sun
will carry on.
Through the light
it shines to say
time has brought
the end of day.
Many mornings
look the same
yet by east
with timeless fame.
Evening’s sun
is found to sing
songs of night
for time to bring.
It gives blessings
we can view
evening’s sun
from old to new.

On The Pier

The rocks of life
that come before
can be made
into our shore.
Then to fish
a day away
with Lord God
to kneel and pray.
With the waves
that come on in
on the pier
is free from sin.
For it’s safe
from Satan’s holds
with the love
that God unfolds.
Life is found
with fishing gear
sent from Heaven
on the pier.

The Polar Bear

Natures heat
is changing fast
with the help of
careless task.
Climate change
is now today
with melting ice
soon gone away.
The polar bear
is losing stride
with its home
to be denied.
With the weather
and atmosphere
the polar bear
will disappear.
Give a care
and lift a voice
to give its home
a better choice.
Don’t just act
all unaware,
for we might lose
the polar bear.

Traveled Roads

Like a story
roads unfold
within memoirs
young to old.
Traveled roads
of hours pass
sometimes slowly
sometimes fast.
Within road signs
holds a choice
a certain turn
a certain voice.
Distant hillsides
come in tune
as ones travels,
times cocoon.
Then the magic
comes alive
traveled roads
that many drive.

The Sky’s Alive

Clouds of day
and night appear
painting scenes
each time of year.
The sky’s alive
with many a thing
rain that falls
and birds that sing.
Amidst a moment
time is found
the sky above,
a shadowy ground.
Some birds in fight
might then display
a moments time
in skies of gray.
With their wings
up high and low
they create
a wondrous show.
The sky’s alive
with life to see
a moments time
that’s given free.

Snoopy’s Farm

This dog named Snoopy,
he lives on a farm
and sleeps every day
on his doghouse barn.
He sleeps in the sunshine
and then in the night
while his friend Woodstock
is always in sight.
Snoopy is a pilot,
his doghouse he flies
while on the farm
in imaginary skies.
His little friend Woodstock
will often be found
watching old snoopy
just fly all around.
It’s a fantastic tale
with a little red barn
found then with Woodstock
upon Snoopy’s farm.

Haiku
for Mar 25,  2017

Life is a journey
filled with many illusions
that lead us astray.

Anger of moments
can become doorways to Hell
if they are held in.

New life awaits us
as the old falls to the side
leaving memories.

Beyond what we think
might be truth we don’t believe
which causes anger.

Springtime’s appearance
could be hidden in the snow
awaiting to bloom.

True enlightenment
often comes at the worse times
due to ignorance.

With you’re loss for words
allow your actions to speak,
but make sure they’re good.

Change can be awesome
if it’s a good direction,
but bad if it’s not.

So many regrets
come from acting hastily
as moments explode.

Nearing a turnstile
often creates the jitters,
fear of the unknown.

It takes some courage
to say what you really mean,
but prepare for life.

The leaves on the trees
often speak loudly of spring
and then more at fall.

Looming destruction
can become our only view
if we seek no peace.

Nearing a tunnel
you might only see the hole
and no end in sight.

Closing in on time
the ticking hands of the clock
might make you nervous.

A real large ego
can become as dynamite
to one day explode.

When looking backwards
you might not see what’s coming
and miss something good.

Now is just a place
that minutes are displaying
as fractions of time.

The past leaves shadows
that we’ll often see clearly,
but misunderstand.

Living in bubbles
and not allowing lessons
can be hindering.

Without a flower
we would be staring at stems
with but only thorns.

A castle in life
can’t be taken to Heaven,
for things blow away.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s another week gone by and the month
of March has passed it’s center point as
the end is just a couple of weeks or twelve
days away.  Spring begins March 20 and
ends June 21 of course that’s the time in
the Northern Hemisphere.  I’m not sure
about the southern and of course with
tomorrow being the first day of spring,  it
will look as it always does up here at this
time of year.  Yep,  it’s still white with a
ton of snow.  Right now though it’s a bit
on the warm side.  The high for today is
40 F and that’s what the temperature is
right now at 5 PM.  I just went outside
to take a few pictures of the scenery and
happened to notice a lot of doggy trails
through the snow LOL.  They both love
to play in the snow.  I know a couple of
dogs that are gonna miss that white stuff.
Of course in time they’ll find fun in the
sun without the snow as usual.  We’ll go
back to making our many field trips out
in front of our house.  It’s hard to do now
with all of the snow.  Yep,  the life of a
wintertime world has its ups and downs.
We had a noreaster come through last
Tuesday,  but it wasn’t too bad.  We
only got maybe 12 or 13 inches of snow
from that,  but boy did that wind blow.
It blew all of the snow off of our house,
but piled a ton of it in front of our house.
LOL I had to get out with the shovel and
snow blower to make the boys a little
path so they could go potty hehehe.  The
poor things couldn’t get over the mound
of snow.  Wednesday I went out and dug
out our car.  Our driveway was already
plowed but it left our car sort of buried 🙂
Benny and Rocky came out with me and
they enjoyed playing in the snow and all.
I walked out to check the mail and they
stood and watched me hehehe.  They’re
not allowed to go out to the road with or
without me.  They know that,  but they
still watch and dream LOL.  We might
still get a little more snow before winter
finally loses its grasp hehehe.  My PC
weather program shows a chance for
snow this coming Friday and Saturday,
but that can all change as we all know 🙂
The weather for tomorrow and Tuesday
seems to be fairly nice with a high of
around 39 to 41,  but Wednesday’s high
is set at 18 F and Thursday 26 F,  so we
shall see.  We’ve still got freezing temps
at night all week.  Tonight’s low is 17
which is what it should be real early
Monday morning still considered as
tonight LOL.  Anyways,  spring is on
its way.  It just takes a little longer for
it to get a good grip up this ways than
it does down south LOL.  Judy’s done
a lot more painting.  She’s turning into
a great artist.  I am so proud of her 🙂
I use many of her paintings for poetry
pictures.  They inspire me.  I’ve already
written 104 picture poems for the new
book.  I’ve got about 50 to go before
we begin getting it published 🙂  LOL
yes I write a lot.  Writing is one of the
many things that helps keep me sane
along with photography and jamming
on my conga drums from time to time.
Of course,  Judy and the boys always
help me smile 🙂  OK,  maybe not always.
We all have our off days hehehe.  I’d
be lying if I said I was always happy 🙂
Life has its ups and downs which are
often connected by mere seconds LOL.
But time has a way of putting things in
the past.  It’s usually us that fail to let
things go that create problems from the
past.  Today is today and yesterday is
yesterday while tomorrow will always be
tomorrow.  When we begin dealing with
today as best that we can,  tomorrow and
the future will be OK.  When we allow
the mistakes of yesterday to become all
that is remembered,  then that becomes
our focus not allowing only the lessons
to exist.  Let the lessons evolve into your
life as you use them to make yourself
and the future much better.  Don’t just
thrive on others mistakes.  Learn to see
the lessons involved and learn from them
and let God help you with your choices.
Now I believe it’s time once again for me
to begin my journey back through all of
my ramblings to see if I can find a good
word or phrase that I can use for the
title for today’s brand new poem.  So it’s
away I go to that place of my recollection
that I always call RECOLLECT VILLE.
I think I found I decent title.  Now to see
if I can do anything with it.  Here goes.

Already written

A moment,  a minute,
a seasonal time
might have been written
to form a straight line.
The words of a story,
the scenes set in place
have been already written
yet different the case.
So many problems
and so many views
time has already written
in somebody’s news.
We’re all connected
in life as we grow
and what’s already written
might put on a show.
Seasons as pages
with stages to see
are already written
in our history.

So Ok,  that poem might seem to be a bit
confusing to you,  but there might be a few
that get it hehehe.  I hope you enjoyed my
rambling.  I seem to always find something
to ramble about don’t I LOL!  So what else
is there to tell you?  Well at the moment my
little Judy is doing a little cleaning on her
side of the room.  Throwing away stuff that
neither her nor I have a clue of what they
are of have used in a decade LOL.  I might
start on my side one day,  but not today 🙂
I cleaned it out a while back making room
for the dogs toy box on my side,  but that
is all I could find room for.  This room is
not all that big LOL.  Remember,  we live
in a single wide mobile home.  Anyways,
we’ll survive.  The temperature is dropping
and now it’s 37 F degrees at 7 PM.  Yes I
have been writing for 2 hours.  That and
answering Judy when she ask me for help
or letting the boys out and then back in
when they needed to go potty LOL So,
you see,  writing gets a tad hindered in
the process hehehe.  No matter,  I’m just
about done.  A little news,  My Uncle
Earl passed away yesterday.  Please keep
his sons and the family in your prayers.
With that said,  it’s time for me to be
telling you what I tell you almost every
week and that is I wrote some more
poems with an extra 6 and 3 of them
being Christmas poems 🙂  which ups
the total to 16.  I also once again wrote
22 haiku for all of the haiku lovers out
there.  I hope you can find 1 or 2 of
either or both that you like. I reckon
it’s time for me to begin my search for
that infamous off switch.  LOL,  but
before I go any further I’ve gotta ask
this question.  Why are there words
such as Infamous and Inflammable.
They mean almost the same thing as
famous and flammable don’t they LOL.
I know infamous means being famous
with a bad reputation,  but still hehehe.
Anyways,  I want to wish you all a most
wonderful week.  Remember Jesus loves
you and we do too.  Now,  where is that
off switch attemping to hide this week?
Hmm,  searching,  still searching and
still searching,  AHA,  I think I saw a
bit of movement from behind my lil
flashlight that’s sitting right in front
of me 🙂  Yep,  there ya are.  I might
not of seen you if you wouldn’t of
turned the flashlight on by mistake 🙂
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky

Blustery Day

Winds that are blowing
display such a sight
a wonderful day to
go fly a kite.
A blustery day
of a seasons grand tour
with the winds blowing
a kites flight allure.
Yet as a picture
a painting of time
a blustery day
is a seasonal rhyme.
Poetic wording
of a blustery day

Daylight’s Desire

With a farm in the snow
and a chimney alive
snow’s on the ground
with a time to survive.
Just a like a story
a written prequel
and daylight’s desire
that our hands can feel.
The page from a book
is a seasons entire
filled with emotions
daylight’s desire.
With a farm in the snow
and sun shining bright
a daylight’s desire
is a seasons delight.

A Photograph

When time evades
and leaves you dry
a photograph
will get you by.
A timeless scene
of long ago
a photograph
can end your woe.
Let not the days
of shadows cast
to be of sadness
of the past.
A photograph
can make you smile
a time recorded
wondrous while.
So when moments
come to you
take a picture
later to view
Then when minutes
and hours pass
you can relive
a photograph.

Reliving Christmas

As time flies by
and moments pass
the times we recall
are gone so fast.
Scenes remembered
seasons displayed
reliving Christmas
is times lemonade.
Poured out like water
and filled full of cheer
Christmas remembered
is a great time of year.
A home with blessings
and snow all around
reliving Christmas
is magic unwound.
A red barn of winter
displayed in the scene
with a home settings
found so serene.
Reliving Christmas
is a wonderful sight
driving down the road

Driving Through Time

A day within sunshine,
a day that fulfills
is a day worth driving
with autumns appeals.
Seasons of back roads,
finding the course
can become journeys
of a magical force.
Driving through time
is a wonderful thing,
lining up doorways
for bluebirds to sing.
Trees come with colors
to heighten the glance
driving through time
as life’s song and dance.
Open up your eyes now
and find what’s to see
driving through time
with God as the key.

Joyful Is Life

While minutes are counted
and ones wish away
a day comes with blessings
when we kneel and pray.
Even those that pray not
will find blessings true
found within their journeys
that God gives to view.
Christmastimes scenery
brings forth displays,
joyful the time frames
wonderful ways.
Yes so joyful is life
when it’s painted by God
and seasoned with angels
that seek no applaud.
As Heaven in the field
of a snowy afternoon
so joyful is life
when time comes attune.
Christmas with moments
that many remember
as heartbeats rekindled
with God’s burning ember.
Peaceful with hillsides
all covered with snow,
time is a doorway
a Christmastime show
A stage set with snowflakes
to lessen ones strife
this momentous journey
shows joyful is life.

A Little Rhythm

With time but seen
as minutes waves
a little rhythm
makes the days.
A time remembered
brings a smile
a little rhythm
times compile.
Life on an island
gives me peace,
a little rhythm,
a moments release.
I find a photo
that brings into view
a little rhythm
of then thereunto.
It is a blessing
a wonderful scene
a little rhythm
found so serene.

A Rose

Looks of passion
of moments apart
a life alone
is a beating heart.
Just like a rose,
a stem so complete
passionate fervor
is often discrete.
Yet as a rosebud
a blooming flower
time is momentous
true loves empower.
A scene that is found
that comes into view
can become a rose
a wonderful hue.
Displaying colors
that God did compose
this is the essence
so timeless a rose.

Sunset Evening

Parked one evening
the sun set real low
found then displaying
some moments to grow.
The scene comes alive
as the sunshine fades
with sunset evening
the end of the days.
Still brightly shining,
but fading real fast
the sun is presenting
a shadowy cast.
The hands of the clock
tick on forevermore
as sunset evening
walks through the door.
The picture’s momentous
as life comes to be
a sunset evening
somewhere by the sea.

Lavender Fields

Fields of color
on a summers day
are as a painting
an awesome display.
A trail to a barn
is seen in design
lavender fields
of a wonderful find.
Time comes alive
as scenes of life
displaying beauty
to ease the strife.
Lavender fields
of yesterdays
bring forth journeys
to end the grays.

Village Church

Painted emotions
with wintertime’s glow
enhances stories
of so long ago.
A little village Church
in a painted array
stood with a steeple
near a barn full of hay.
Footprints imagined
of a painters design
a Christmassy scene
with starlight to shine.
The big round moon
is painted so high,
a Christmastime scene
in the wintertime sky.
Moments recorded
as the seasons aglow
with a village church
in wintertime’s snow.

I Dream Of Springtime

My heart envisions
the flowers that bloom
sometimes by March
then April to June.
I dream of springtime
as tree leaves bestow
seasonal journeys
with blessings to grow.
On throughout winter
the snowflakes will fall
giving their beauty
with spring yet to call.
Then as the snow melts
it leaves in its wake
springtime’s revival
that we can partake.
I dream of springtime
as colors unite
displaying beauty
a Heavenly sight.

Life At A Glance

The sound of the wind
as a breeze speaks its mind
is a special conversation
that a lifetime will find.
Peaceful recognition
as a journey is inlaid
is a stage with the actors
as a day on parade.
With life  at a glance
a mere moment flies by
leaving but a segment
that’s seen beneath ths sky.
Maybe a bird calling
with a little bit of rhyme
on a lake on a journey
with true love on its mind.
Yes life at a glance
might not catch your view
as minutes tick away
till they bid their adieu.

A Sweet Scenic Sunrise

An ocean of beauty
with a taste of style
displays the wonders
that time does compile.
A sweet scenic sunrise
with beauty displayed
shows all of God’s work
so wonderfully made.
A man fishing silently
right there in the waves
as a seagull flies by
just enjoying the days.
A sweet scenic sunrise
is found in the view,
a time so complete
yet each day’s anew.
As a page from a book
with some cloudy skies,
it’s a painting by God
a sweet scenic sunrise.

Moonlight Bench

A minute passes
with a bench all alone
sat in the moonlight
black and white tone.
This is but a scene
that becomes as a tale,
a story ones read
when life’s not so well.
A moonlight bench
with a river flowing
seen as pure white
with moonlight bestowing.
The time comes to be
as a momentous glance
of a moonlight scene
that’s filled with romance.
It comes alive at night
with a song singing finch
and the sounds of water
this moonlight bench.

A Day At The Beach

A kite flying high
as the waves roll in
is time on a journey
beginning to end.
A day at the beach
with puppy dogs too
displays a scene
a wonderful view.
There’s a sandcastle
that soon will disband
a day at the beach
in summertime sand.
This is a painting
a memory of time
a day at the beach
so scenic divine.
Minutes are passing
that many beseech
this is a blessing
a day at the beach.

Haiku
for Mar 18,  2017

A misty morning
might seem as really gloomy,
but life is within.

Summertime daisies
are as flowers illusions
that are merely weeds.

A shadow of time
can sometimes become fearful,
but turn into good.

Living on the edge
allows problems to prosper
that could mean your end.

As minutes tick on,
a life is in the ballast
that you may not know.

Various doorways
bring many hidden journeys
into your pathway.

Life of a feather
is often up in the sky
as a bird travels.

Tomorrows worries
are often begun too soon,
and today is lost.

Beyond our heartbeat
holds an enormous moment
that God has promised.

Within a window
there is glass allowing sight,
but nothing to touch.

A year and a day
can become one of the same
when now is detained.

In the oceans depth
there’s a world we don’t know,
yet we search above.

Challenge gives us growth,
for without any challenge
we stand stagnant.

A budding flower
becomes a blossom of life
that will soon be seed.

Mornings vantage point
might be a little cloudy,
but sunshine is there.

With the moon shining
and stars twinkling above,
a passion will grow.

History repeats
when the lessons are not learned
and it might be worse.

Various motions
become who we are known as
when ones do not know.

Flavors of sunshine
come as billows of mornings
as a day begins.

Lakes of confusion
become turbulent waters
with stupidity.

Mindless emotions
often lead to destruction
for they’re without facts.

A sheltered lifestyle
can prevent ones from growing
and being prepared.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

This passed week has been fairly decent
aside from being a slight cold.  The high
for Saturday was -3 F degrees LOL. Not
too bad.  It snowed a little off and on
last week.  Judy and I went to the dollar
Tree last Monday and browsed for her
some craft stuff.  We like to shop at the
Dollar Tree store.  They usually have a
lot of good stuff that we can afford LOL.
The weather has been on a wintery scale.
Last Tuesday I let the boys out and they
wanted to go running in the field of snow
and so they headed out.  Of course they
wanted me to come with them,  but my
weight presented a problem LOL.  The
top layer of the snow was frozen solid,
and the boys could run right over it,  but
with my 225,  it began cracking.  I went
out as far as I could before the ice broke
and I fell through where there was a fresh
layer of snow on top that had insulated it.
The snow was about 2 or 3 foot deep LOL.
I had to crawl out of it to where the top
layer was still frozen solid and then walk
real softly back to the house.  Hehehe,
Rocky came running to me when I broke
through.  Benny just sort of watched me
from a distance 🙂  Anyways,  I said,  time
to go home and they both headed back to
the house stopping ever so often to look
back and see if I was coming.  I couldn’t
walk fast being I had to be easy not to
break the top layer of ice.  LOL When
I was walking out to them,  I heard a
loud BOOM where the ice underneath
complained about my weight hehehehe.
Anyways,  we made it back to the house
with me only busting through the ice
a couple of times before getting on solid
ground hehehe.  Yep,  life with these
boys is never boring.  They tried to go
out in the field again Thursday,  but I
hollered,  NO and they turned around
to see me.  I hollered a couple of more
times and they came running back home.
I knew I couldn’t go out there with them
then after it had snowed a bit.  There
was a fresh layer of snow over the once
frozen snow and I would of surely fell
through LOL.  Yeppers,  I had walked
out to the mail and when walking back,
they thought I was going to walk out in
the field,  but no way Jose.  So that was
pretty much for us.  Judy drove up to
Eagle Lake to check on her mom that
day and I saw on my computer weather
radar that she was driving right into some
snow squalls and was going to have to
drive through them on the way back home.
I was really worried about her,  but she
made it there and back safely.  She said
there was times that she only drove about
20 MPH being it was too bad to drive any
faster.  We’re expecting a Nor’easter to
hit us Tuesday afternoon and it looks as
though it’ll last until Thursday around
noon.  A Nor’easter in our case is a bad
snowstorm.  So it looks like we’re gonna
get some more snow.  It could change,
but at this moment it looks as though it
is headed our way.  Right now it’s 16 F
degrees at 6 PM.  I guess being that’s as
warm as it got today,  that was the high.
Our grandson Christian came Friday
to spend the weekend with us.  We all
headed to Walmart shortly after he got
here to try and find him a cord for his
tablet,  but we couldn’t find one.  He
forgot to bring his charging cord with
him when he came.  Anyways,  I went to
Amazon.com and found him one and
ordered it so it will be here the next time
he comes and forgets his cord hehehe.
Judy is over at her desk painting and
Christian is right behind me on his cell
phone watching gaming videos.  His
mom should be here any minute now
to pick him up.  We always enjoy him
coming to spend time with us.  These
days will surely be missed when he gets
to the age that he no longer wants to
spend time with Grandma and Gramps.
He’s gone now and Judy has gone back
to painting.  Christian is pretty good at
drawing.  He drew a couple of pictures.
Judy gave him some colored pencils
and some paper to take home with him
and do some more drawing.  I’m still
better at doing picture poems.  Using
our pictures and Judy’s paintings for
poems.  It seems to be one of my knack’s.
Anyways,  on with the day.  Right now
at 6:50 PM it’s 14 F degrees.  Yep,  it’s
getting colder.  So,  as far as yesterday
(Saturday) is concerned,  we spent a
lot of the day watching silly Youtube
videos and Christian tried his hand
at artwork.  We also watched a few
game shows together.  I hope he comes
back soon.  We can see God’s blessings
all throughout our lives.  He has surely
blessed our home.  🙂  It may be cold up
here,  but the warmth of Jesus is great.
LOL the warmth of this hot chocolate
that I fixed me a little bit ago is also
pretty nice 🙂  Anyways,  that’s about
all I have for now.  I guess it’s time
for me to begin my little journey back
through all that I’ve written here to
see if I can find a good word or phrase
that I can use for the title for today’s
brand new poem.  So,  it’s away I go
to that place of my recollection that
I always like to call RECOLLECT
VILLE.  I think I found me a fairly
decent title less than a third of the
way from the beginning of all of my
rambling hehehe.  Now to see if I can
do anything with it.  Here goes.

Headed Back

Time will echo
there and to
things we find
our daily view.
Some might even
find their place
headed back
a journey’s race.
Allowing times
of long ago
to be repeated
might not flow.
For we’ve changed,
within the view,
even though
we think not true.
Sometimes moments
railroad track
is not so good
when headed back.

There ya go.  I hope you liked the poem
and maybe even understood it hehehehe.
Also I hope you enjoyed my rambling 🙂
Hopefully I didn’t bore ya to tears and
I brought you a smile.  There’s not much
else to tell you.  Life here at the Pearce’s
Place is most times fairly peaceful.  Judy
with her painting and drawing and me
with my poetry.  Of course Benny and
Rocky create a little excitement from
time to time hehehe.  So,  it looks like
it’s time for me to be telling you what
I tell you almost every week and that is,
I wrote some more poetry and haiku.
Yeppers,  10 more poems,  but with a
few extras.  Yep,  3 extras which ups
the count to 13 with 1 of them being
a Christmas poem LOL.  I also once
again wrote 22 more haiku for all of
the haiku lovers out there.  I hope you
can find 1 or 2 of either or both that
you like.  Now I believe it’s time for
me to begin my search for that not
so great at hiding off switch,  but not
before I wish you a most wonderful
blessings filled week.  Hopefully you
remembered daylight savings time
and moved your clock up an hour if
of course where you are you do that.
Remember,  Jesus loves you and we
do too.  Now,  where is that dadgum
off switch hiding this time?  LOL 🙂
you have to be kidding me hehehehe.
Hiding behind my cup of hot cocoa.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

Lighthouse Of Sea

Stories of an ocean
symbolic of the sea
are often the pictures
of our history.
A lighthouse picture

painted with passion

Artwork of memories

Moonlight shimmering

Frozen River

One day a journey
through the snow
I came upon
a river flow.
Ice was melting
I could see
this frozen river
timelessly.
The winters grip
was losing hold
this frozen river
oh so cold.
Seasons threshold
showed its face
in the rivers
time and place.
Frozen river
time to time
found its form
in winters sign.
Though the ice
was melting fast
frozen river
days would last.
With a moments
ice display
frozen river’s
on its way.
A winter voyage
to seasons sight
frozen river
winter white.

One day with a breeze

this dog named Snoopy
was flying his kite.
He laid down to rest
with his kite flying true
as he dreamed of the sky
a deep shade of blue.
He held to the string
with a tight pawed grip
made sure while sleeping
his grip wouldn’t slip.
He looked up to see
this momentous flight
that was held by a string
onto Snoopy’s kite.

An Ocean Dream

When waters speak
about their time
they might sound
like rhythm rhyme.
An ocean dream
with a little boat
rocks in waves
to churn and float.
Without a captain
at its helm
it sits and waits
within the realm.
The waters taunt
and tease about
an ocean dream
without a doubt.
But the boat
still looks ahead
through the scene
a moments thread.
Between the hills
it sees the gate
an ocean dream
that it can’t wait.

Tides Of Thought

Lessons favor
mornings waves
seen within the
summer days.
The tide comes in
with many things
and then goes out,
the ocean sings.
Tides of thought
are night and day
times they come
and go away.
Waves will speak
an oceans mind,
tides of thought
their own design.
The wind will blow
in many ways
that often sounds
just like the waves.
An oceans life
cannot be bought,
the life and times
tides of thought.

Morning Sun

Beyond the ocean
time begins
the morning sun
and summer winds.
The day unleashes
things to see
a morning sun
so wondrously.
With the minutes
time is found
morning sun shown
on the ground.
For with sunshine
comes a view
Heaven’s blessings
sea of blue.
Seasons gather
finding frame
as morning sun
finds more to gain.
Life is growing
in the scene
morning sun then
like a dream.

Losing The Day

As our lives finds growth
it also then dies
with all of the gadgets
that science applies.
So many lose grasp
of our own humanity
as the daily net portal
envelops you and me.
So many cell zombies
just walking around
finding themselves
without common ground.
The minutes tick onwards
as they meet their demise
as technology leaves us
found in disguise.
Not knowing our truth
and our God given way
ones walk with their cells
while losing the day.

A Day’s Display

With grasses of green
and a sky of blue
a day’s display
is a magical hue.
Some clouds float by
and create a scene
in the true blue sky
and grasses of green.
Each minute passes
with life to attain
some within sunshine,
some within rain.
A day’s display
is an ocean of time
found within beauty
and love so divine.
Yet many people
lose sight of it all
and a day’s display
they find they appall.
So don’t let your life
to just fade away
and miss everything
a day’s display.

Haiku
for Mar 9,  2017

Between the pages
holds stories that ones don’t read
because of hurry.

Life is a flower
that often loses focus
due to no water.

Without our problems
we would not have any growth,
for problems are seeds.

Shadows of our lives
are found within the structure
of our family.

Allowing storm clouds
to find refuge in your life
will cause you much rain.

Beneath the ocean
holds a world we’ll never know
unless we dive down.

Space is a venture
that many seek ones like us
and not of other.

As heartbeats unite
they have a chance for growing,
yet some fall apart.

A house full of lies
will only flourish despair
as truth is exposed.

Life without passion
finds only the minimum
of what life can be.

A summer shower
is more than just of water,
for it gives us life.

Belief without sight
needs you to not be with doubt
but open minded.

Life is a journey
that many will lose their way
through times illusions.

Without a window
we might just sit and just dream
of what we can see.

So many people
become doormats to others
because of their fear.

Glancing at someone
you might not see who they are,
but have assumptions.

A leaf that’s blowing
could end up on a journey
that leads to nowhere.

Challenges of life
are the tools to help us grow
and not grow stagnant.

Displayed in moment
our lives might seem without hope,
but prayer can help.

Counting the minutes
will only make them longer
while you are waiting.

Long awaited dreams
can change as you grow older
and become nightmares.

Many perceptions
can turn into confusion
as fact’s fall away.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

So it seems that February is over with
and now March is upon us.  Yeppers
and ye ole winter winds are still doing
their thing.  Yesterday evening when we
got back home from grocery shopping
we found that our hot water had froze.
I called our landlord and he came today
and got it thawed.  It was a bit too cold
for him to get out to fix it last night 🙂
The wind chill was -18 F degrees and
the wind was blowing profusely.  We
didn’t expect him to get out in that.
He’s an old guy like us LOL.  It’s all
good now.  Though Rocky had a bit
of a poopy butt and the water was too
cold for me to wash it last night hehehe.
So I took care of that when Calvin got
the hot water thawed out.  I trimmed
Rocky a little more while I had him in
the bathtub and then did my regular.
I washed out the tub real good.  I gave
both Benny and Rocky haircuts Friday
while Judy road down to Bangor with
her sister Barbara.  They went to visit
their brother Ricky and Barbara had
a doctors appointment down there too.
Anyways,  I got the boys trimmed up
fairly well.  I’ll need Judy to help me
hold them so I can do final cuts or she
can cut and I’ll hold them hehehe.  It
don’t matter to me.  Friday I cut off
over 2 Walmart bags of hair.  If I had
the power of life I could of created two
more dogs out of all that hair hehehe.
But,  I am not God,  so therefore the
hair just went in the trash 🙂  Right
now it’s 17 F degrees at 6 PM.  Just a
bit chilly LOL.  Oh yea,  Friday after
I cut the boys hair,  I went outside
with them for a little romp time and
they decided that they wanted to go
for a field trip,  so I walked as lightly
as I could over the frozen two or more
feet deep of snow.  Just a few steps out
I heard the loudest BOOM as the ice
began to crack.  I hollered at the boys
to come back,  but they just stopped
to see what the noise was about.  So,
I kept walking and caught up to them,
but by that time I was near the trashed
mobile homes and the snow was fresh
which meant the snow beneath it was
insulated and was not frozen so well.
Yep,  you guessed,  I fell through and
had to crawl out where I could find
the frozen snow again.  Needless to
say,  that pretty much did me in and
Rocky knew it as he came running to
my aid.  LOL Benny just watched me
in wonder.  Anyways,  I said that’s it,
time to head to the house and they
were off in a mad dash.  I took a little
video of them running side by side
heading back to the house stopping
ever so often to wait on me.  Then
Rocky ran inside the front extension
to our house,  but Benny climbed up
on a snow mound to keep watch over
me till I got home and then he went
with me and we all went back inside
out of the cold.   Right now,  Judy
is over at her daughter’s house for
their new paint night.  It’s the first
one.  They meet over at Judy’s sister
Trudy’s house once a month for craft
night.  We went shopping yesterday,
but stopped off at the Dollar Tree for
a little craft shopping and what not,
then we headed to Walmart for food.
Yes I’m a guy and yes I like to shop 🙂
and yes I am straight LOL.  I’m not
your everyday guy I guess.  I don’t
like or watch sports either.  Judy is
the same.  It may seem weird,  but
we enjoy pretty much the same things
favorite TV,  poetry,  photography
and I use many of her paintings for
picture poems 🙂  I’ve already got 76
picture poems written for the new
book.  I’m halfway there LOL.  It
does keep my mind busy.  I enjoy
writing picture poems/poetry pictures
and they do keep me busy hehehehe.
For that matter,  so do these boys 🙂
They had to go out a minute ago and
Rocky was just barking saying they
were ready to come back in,  so now
they’re both in here warming up by
the radiator heater.  Rocky’s right
beside me lying in his doggy bed and
looking up at me with his little toothy
grin LOL.  Benny is on the other side
of him.  Our little home is always with
something stirring about 🙂  Did I tell
you that it snowed again Thursday 🙂
Not a lot,  but enough that the boys
wanted to go out and play in it LOL.
Oh yea again,  Last Monday Judy
and I did pictures of us holding our
books.  So we’ve both got pictures
us holding them and of us together.
I thank God for bringing Judy into
my life.  We have a few problems as
that’s life,  but we work through them
together.  There’s no marriage that is
without its struggles,  for nobody is
perfect.  Make a point of not going
to bed with anger  for it will only
grow and cause you a restless night.
Now I believe it’s time for me to be
looking back over all that I have
written here to see if I can find me a
decent word or phrase that I can use
for the title for today’s brand new
poem.  So it’s away I go,  to that little
place of my recollection that I always
like to call RECOLLECT VILLE.
I believe I may have found a decent
title about a third of the way back
through my rambling :).   Now let’s
see if I can do anything with it.  Here
goes nothing hehehe.

Everyday

Times a moment
shadows cast,
everyday is
with a past.
Scenes recorded
in our minds
become memoirs
distant times.
Everyday is
not the same
even if it
is your aim.
Distant scenes
of times accord
never fail
to find The Lord.
He is always
watching you
wanting your life
fresh and new.
So with troubles
kneel and pray
give them to Him
everyday.

I hope you enjoyed the poem and it
maybe even made sense to you LOL.
I never know if anything I’m writing
makes any sense to anyone but me.
I also hope you enjoyed my rambling.
I do tend to drift from topic to topic
don’t I hehehe.  I can’t help it,  that’s
how I remember stuff LOL.  Surely
you don’t expect me to go back and
rewrite this every time I remember
something Hahaha.  If I were getting
paid for it maybe,  but I’m not LOL.
I guess though it’s time for me to be
telling you what I tell you almost
every week and that is,  I wrote some
more poems and haiku.  Yeppers,  10
more poems with an extra 10 due to
my many picture poems this week 🙂
I also wrote 22 more haiku for all of
the haiku lovers out there. I haven’t
written any Christmas poems lately,
so who knows,  I might write a few
next week :),  but don’t hold your
breath hehehe.  Ok now I guess it’s
time for me to begin my search for
that hardly elusive off switch,  but
not before I wish you blessings filled
week.  Remember Jesus loves you
and we do too.  Now,  where is that
off switch hiding this week?  Hmm,
I think I spy with my 1 good eye
a bit of movement from behind my
aspirin bottle.  Sheesh,  you’d think
you would learn that the bottle is
CLEAR and I can see you hehehe.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky
and the spirit of Milo Pearce

P.S  A link to our brand new books

It’s as a portrait

A painted church

The painters eyes
began the chime
the churches bell

Within the scene

Baby Giraffe

Within the wild
there stands so tall
a baby giraffe
that ones see small.
It holds its head up
real high to see
the sights around
the tallest tree.
It’s a tall baby
to surely grow
and one day see
what times bestow.
Each day he dreams
of skies of blue
with a neck so long
to see the view.
His heart is filled
with hope and dreams
as he walks up
to rushing streams.
The life and times
of a baby giraffe
are found with joy
as years will pass.

Winter’s Bench

The season’s closing
leaving signs
snow filled moments
winter times.
A winter bench
is sat in snow
while the season’s
good to go.
Left are portions
winter white
found as stages
scenes in sight.
As an actor
snow is seen
with a bench then
so serene.
Snow has melted
inch by inch
leaving signs of
winter’s bench.

A Lonely Owl

One peaceful night
an owl would sing
a song so lonely
near a stream.
Upon a limb
beneath the moon
a lonely owl
would sing its tune.
The sounds of love
with every who
a lonely owl
seeks thereunto.
In the moonlight
this great fowl
seeks a mate
a lonely owl.

A Certain View

When days get bad
and time stands still
a certain view
might spin the wheel.
Opening pathways
to brand new days
bringing in sunshine
of which to gaze.
A certain view
of seasons delight
can open the door
to a much better sight.
For with the pages
of pictures and more
a certain view
can open a door.
Bringing in lifestyles
so fresh and anew
time can become then
a certain view.

The Old Fisherman

This man he stands
in summers sun
while fishing wishing
more than none.
His pole is ready,
his line is taunt
anticipating waiting
a fisherman’s jaunt.
Waves are thrashing
singing a song
as the old fisherman
just sings along.
He sings of journeys,
he sings of the day.
He sings of pleasure
a wonderful way.
He sees the blessings,
he sees the bliss,
the old fisherman
cannot resist.
Time is his favor
he patiently waits
the old fisherman,
hook that he baits.

Work Together

When troubles come
with waves of time
work together
for peace of mind.
Don’t let the waves
of time destroy
your floating essence,
seek for joy.
Find the blessings
times can attain
by working together
and find the gain.
With two together
the journey will be
stronger in essence
in life’s shining sea.
Find the moments
that two can improve
and give you hope
to win not lose.
When seas of struggles
come into view
work together
through seas of blue.

Swings In The Snow

With trees standing near
there’s swings in the snow
standing projecting
a swing to and fro.
As a doorway of winter
the swings sort of sway,
swinging in the breeze
in their own little way.
Swings in the snow
become a memory,
as patterns in the wind,
a blessing given free.
Seasons recreation
with a snowy attitude,
swings in the snow
that children have pursued.
Winter is enlightening
as it paints within its flow
seasons on a journey
with swings in the snow.

Field Of Snow

A heart of grandeur
views a scene
a field of snow
so white and clean.
Some cattle grazing
thereunto
makes the scene
a wondrous view.
There’s a valley
with rolling hills
a field of snow
that time fulfills.
A pleasurable sight
of times display
brings into view
God’s wondrous way.
His mighty hands
created this sight
a field of snow
seen day and night.
Viewed in the day
the sun bestows
and even at night
the moonlight glows.
A painted picture
from God above
a field of snow
His whitest dove.
Within a memoir
His hands bestow
from Heaven above
a field of snow.

Two Love Birds

Life in a picture
a painting of time
is of two love birds
an awesome design.
A moment unending
a moment so true
finds birds united
a wonderful view.
Seeming as people
two love birds display
passion for minutes
that gather the day.
Painted as notions
of true love to find
finds two love birds
a scene intertwined.
Seasons of true love
become song and dance
two love birds singing
of moments romance.

Within A Mountain

Scenes of beauty
fill ones eyes
as mountains reach
to highest skies.
A story book
becomes alive
within a mountain
times survive.
Written in rock
and stone thereof
a mountain holds
life like a glove.
A scenic point
from distant times
within a mountain
are designs.
Seasons splendor
is displayed
within a mountain
times have made.

The Sun In The Sky

An ocean settings
waves rolling in
becomes a scenic
time to begin.
The sun in the sky
shines so very bright
it makes the clouds
as a magical sight.
Painting a picture
with its bright charm
the sun in the sky
is so very warm.
Its rays are as time
with waves to foresee
the passionate stage
that’s given so free.
The voyage of a ship
on a summery phase
displays the scene
with ocean and waves.
With but a moment
the clouds fly by
creating a picture
the sun in the sky.

Waves Of Summer

Beyond our shadows
time is found
waves of summer
sight and sound.
The scenes recorded
picture frames
minutes moments
times champagne.
Watching people
daily true
waves of summer
seas of blue.
A man and dog
that found the joy
a summers day
with dog and toy.
Waves of summer
times embrace
footprints found
with smiling face.
Times remembered
shadows gaze
waves of summer
wondrous days.

Fishing Dream

Time’s in sequence
a painted array
a little guy fishing
enjoying the day.
His boat is rocking
as ripples of time
a fishing dream
is found so sublime.
The sun is bright
with its reflection
bringing to life
a solar perfection.
A momentous scene,
a sight for sore eyes,
a fishing dream
beneath the skies.
Seconds and minutes
pass by with peace
making this moment
sweet Heavens release.

Moonlight Bears

A time in a scene
when dreams come true
becomes such a time
when life is anew.
Moonlight shining
a yellow phase
as bears together
stand and gaze.
A time in a scene
when minutes tick on
leaving the moment
a time before dawn.
Moonlight bears
they stand together
to see the dreams
of life forever.
A time in a scene
when peace comes alive
with moonlight bears
that time does revive.

A Steady Heart

Hope filled dreams
with signs of truth
are many stages
of our youth.
A point and time
when life is gray
a steady heart
takes it away.
Sealed with love
of times recalled
we all might find
those times enthralled.
A distant page
of timeless scenes
a steady heart
rekindles dreams.
As time moves on
with works of art
our lives will find
a steady heart.

A Path Of White

Beyond the day
there is a trail
a path of white
that times entail.
With guiding lights
and handrails too
to guide someone
that’s walking through.
A path of white
is given free
to cross it truly
without fee.
It holds a moment
there entwined
that soon becomes
a special time.
A scene recorded
such a sight
that’s found to be
a path of white.

A Clouded Mind

Past to present
now and then
time is found
beginning again.
God sends angels
to be our guides
on the days of
cloudy skies.
We might worry
about someone
a moment then
a time that’s done,
but God is always
with a way
to give you peace
when life’s astray.
For when struggles
fill your heart
God and prayer
gives place to start.
Let His blessings
be entwined
when you’ve got
a clouded mind.

Smoke That Drifts

A day and time
with winter’s white
finds a fireplace
there in sight.
The time and place
where winter shines
smoke is drifting
in my mind.
As an echo
of yesterday
the smoke drifts
with color gray.
While I walked
I looked right back
watching billows
from the stack.
It gave me
a certain gift
peaceful seen
the smoke that drifts.

of a little girl
become the joy
within the world.
Within a child

somes puppy dogs
and wondrous scenes.
The smallest sight
becomes so great
within a child
of time and date.
A story starts
with seasons stage
within a child
of age to age.
The minutes pass
as time’s compiled

within a child.

Haiku
for Mar 4,  2017

Before and after
will connect in the middle
with our memories.

The seasons journeys
that are stages of a year
that bring us beauty.

Life’s a scenic route
that often has some speed bumps
to slow down your stride.

Flourishing flowers
become blessings for our eyes
as they come to bloom.

Change is deception
when all that’s changed is the view
and not what’s inside.

Morning bring shadows
across a few nearby trees
that create daydreams.

Time creates moments
that can become memories
along with lessons.

Within a doorway
holds chance to enter or leave,
for it’s up to us.

Morning remembers
all that nighttime brought to view,
so make peace at night.

A windy winter
brings forth many chilling nights,
so prepare yourself.

Yesterdays children
will be tomorrows choices
so teach them the facts.

Losing direction
can find you down lonely roads
if you fear to ask.

Now is a moment
that will soon be in our past
that ones remember.

Lose the yesterdays
that you made many mistakes
and make it better.

A fly in a room
recognizes fly swatters
without it knowing.

Rekindled lifestyles
can become either large flames
or burning bridges.

A season’s sunshine
brings peace into a heartbeat
if it’s not sunburned.

Life is a river
flowing sometimes too quickly
that many build a dam.

News of a person
might be merely just gossip
as it’s only lies.

Now gives us a chance
to change how we have become
and seek for better.

Looking for trouble
might procure more than wanted
and dig you a grave.

With each passing day
life continues with its stride
while some waste away.
