ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

It’s that time once again to let my mind to ramble.
LOL OK so it rambles all of the time, but today
I put my thoughts on paper hehe or the semblance
of it LOL. Now, hmmm what should I start out
with? Oh yea, Do you remember our new puppy
or dog as he is by age? Well he has made himself
right at home. Benny and Milo have become best
friends. They are inseparable. If I let Milo inside
and Benny doesn’t see it, then he will continue to
look for Milo and will not come in, but when I hold
Milo up so he can see him, Benny is in with a mad
dash. They love each other. They play together
and are often seen sleeping together. We’ve found
two types of dog food that work well LOL. Benny
likes one and Milo likes the other, so I just pour
them into the dinner pan together. They eat what
they like. Benny is weighing about 15 lbs or there
about and Milo is weighing around 21 lbs. Milo
is well trained. He even shakes hands, sits and
speaks. Benny has learned to sit and stay, but
we’re working on the hand shake LOL. He does
it when he feels like it hehehe. Yet he speaks
most of the time when he wants to play or when
he hears a knock at the door or what he thinks
is a knock at the door hehehe. Oh yea, Milo
will sit at the top of our front steps and bark
when he’s ready to come inside. Benny waits
beside him, sometimes he’s around the end of
the house and doesn’t see Milo come in which
leads him to begin his search for Milo. They
are so sweet. They look out for one another
and also me hehehe. Benny was playing just
a bit too rough with me last night and Milo
gave him a good growl and nudge. Yep they
are a pair. Milo drinks more water than any
dog I’ve ever seen LOL. I can’t keep the
water bowls full hehehe. There’s not much
else new around here. Oh yea, my brother
in law Dennis brought over a dryer for us
to have that looks just like our washer and
taking our old dryer to his son and better
half Marissa. The dryer’s not hooked up yet
though being the dryer vent was too short
coming out of the dryer, so Dennis had to
go and get a longer one being Judy and I
are BROKE until next Saturday. We’ve
bought all the groceries we will need when
we went to WalMart yesterday, so we’ll
be OK. Did you hear about the tsunami
that is hitting Hawaii? Sounds really bad.
Also there is a bad storm down south of us
that is hitting New York and many other
states down on the east coast. Please keep
them all in prayer. We might get a little bit
of rain from it, but that’s about it. Starting
late tonight we should start getting some
rain. 30% tonight and 50% tomorrow as
it goes on up to 100% by around midnight
through Tuesday evening. Not a lot of rain
expected though. Just a couple of inches.
Judy just fixed me some oatmeal, so I’m
gonna stop and eat for a moment hehehehe.
Ok, back to writing. I’ll finish my oatmeal
in a bit. God has surely blessed our little
home. He found us Benny and Milo to fill
the walls with joy and He has given Judy
and I all that we need. Yes we have our
share of troubles. We all have troubles and
many may be greater than others, but they
help us to grow if we allow them and don’t
let them to wear us down. If you are feeling
worn down, then ask God for some strength.
Jesus will carry you when you cannot walk.
His love can defeat any struggle. Sometimes
the answer though is wait for Him. Often
we will find ourselves in a hurry for things
to happen and we just mess things up. Let
Jesus have it through a prayer and then do
your very best in what all that you need to do.
Don’t just pray and sit down and expect Him
to do it all. God will not do for you what you
are capable of doing for yourself. Now it’s
time for me to be visiting that place of my
recollection through all that I have written
here to see if I can find a good word or phrase
that I can use for the title for today’s brand
new poem. So it’s away I go to that lil place
that I like to call RECOLLECT VILLE….
I think I may have found a good title, but as
always, I’ve gotta take a look and see if I
have already used it or not. So, it seems that
I had to pick another hehehe being I have
already used the one I had picked hehehehe.
Oh well I found a another that will work well.
Here goes……

Through A Prayer

Many wonder
times unfair
and find peace then
through a prayer.
Moments torment
comes in phase
in some segments
of our days.
Through a prayer
your peace can be
found in life
and given free.
Yet some moments
time might show
lack of prayer
and feeling low.
Let not sadness
fill your heart.
Through a prayer
let Jesus start.
Let Him help you
find your peace
through a prayer
of sweet release.

Ok so how was that? I hope that you liked that.
I’m still taking a bite of my oatmeal time to time
which I might add is cold now LOL. Oh well it’s
all good 🙂 It’s 57F degrees right now and a bit
cloudy with the rains to begin shortly 🙂 There’s
only one thing I don’t like about the rain and that
is Benny don’t like to go out when it’s raining.
He though loves to go out and play in the snow.
I wonder how Milo will react to the snow. He
is from up here, but don’t know yet if he likes
the snow or not LOL. Judy’s in the kitchen now
cooking up a recipe she found on the internet
and Benny and Milo are in there watching her.
Those two pups are like little shadows that
go wherever we go LOL. Hehehe a little bit
smaller size than us, but shadows none the less.
Well before I totally get lost in rambling mode,
I think I need to tell ya what I tell ya every
week and that is, I wrote some more poems
and haiku. Yeppers 10 more poems with 3
of them being Christmas poems. Also I once
again wrote 22 more haiku for all of the haiku
lovers out there. I hope some of my words
find a place in your heart and make a smile.
Before I go I have a special prayer request.
A friend of mine has a friend that is suffering
with Crohns disease and she wanted me to
ask you to pray for her and her name is Pam.
I went through that pain many years ago.
Well I guess it’s time once agin for me to be
searching for that old off switch that just
loves to play hide and seek, but not before
I wish you a most wonderful God filled week.
Remember, Jesus loves you and we do too.
Now to find that off switch. Ahhah, found
ya you little bugger. Hiding in my oatmeal
won’t save ya. There ain’t that much to
hide in anymore hehehehehehehehehehehe.
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Many Dreams

Found in a second
seeming as hours
many dreams come
with fragrance of flowers.
So many seconds
might just tick away
in many dreams
of now and today.
Flourishing heartbeats
through many dreams
might be presented
as summertimes streams.
Rhythms reviving
with each little thought
that which reality
cannot be bought.
So many dreams
come found as a flavor
relieving your heartaches
as a lifesaver.

Shortsighted Views

When ones so clueless
just always refuse
they might then also
have shortsighted views.
For when there’s changes
found day to day,
shortsighted views will
turn them all gray.
Not allowing chances
for new days to come
shortsighted views
can beat a dumb drum.
Let not shortsightedness
be all you view
making your future days
found all askew.
Give room for changes
found in tomorrow
seeking for hopeful
ending your sorrow.

Tiny Windows

Scenic journeys
we’ve gone on
may now seem as
dusk to dawn.
When those windows
shrink in size
they might also
lose the prize.
Tiny windows
we look through
might not show
our greatest view.
Let those windows
open wide
letting good times
be applied.
Don’t let sadness
fill your heart.
Let God’s goodness
in to start.
Tiny windows
can be found
looking through
to solid ground.
Now let passed days
fall from view
and let goodness
live in you.

When In Time

Winters fury
might bestow
days and nights
with tons of snow.
When the season
comes in place
it brings snowflakes
face to face.
Winters shadows
come to be
when in time
they are to see.
Soon the weather
will turn white
seen at daytime
also night.
So when winter
is designed
let it all to
just remind.
That of Christmas
and its glory
with old Santa
and his story.
Let those snowflakes
fall in place
bringing smiles
upon your face.
Find the joy of
God Divine
found at Christmas
when in time.

Trees of White

Soon comes Christmas,
time moves on
bringing snowflakes
dusk to dawn.
Seasons greetings
many say
for this wondrous
Christmas day.
Pages turning
trees of white
come then surely
day and night.
Even lights are
hung with care
trees of white
and everywhere.
Scenic journeys
come in play
while awaiting
Christmas day.

Morning Hills

The dawn of day
brings morning hills
as the glimmer
life fulfills.
Mornings painting
is hung right
on through daytime
until night.
The hills are seen
from far away
every morning
day to day.
Morning hills
are fragrant scenes
sometimes flavored
as my dreams.
Every morning
is found true
with the sight of
morning dew.
Then my vision
sort of spills
onto sights of
morning hills.

Flowers

Many blossom
and they grow
and just sleep on
under snow.
Sometimes flowers
of each day,
just await for
April, May.
Flowers bring us
sights to see
when they blossom
fancy free.
They will often
fall from sight
with each winter
day and night.
So don’t let them
fall from view
April, May
then so anew.

Beyond Christmas

Tomorrows thoughts
are often misled
on beyond Christmas
saddened instead.
Not letting Christmas
to live then beyond
can make a portholes
stagnated pond.
For beyond Christmas
is always the same
Jesus with true love
found through His Name.
So beyond Christmas
make it to be
remembered as His Love
and then be happy.
Don’t just let Christmas
to fade fast away.
Keep it as blessings
of that wondrous day.

Standing Stone

When you’re with worry
and feel all alone
take it to Jesus
and His standing stone.
Let Him to help you
to find how to stand
and He will reach out
and hold your hand.
When you’re with troubles
and filled with despair
let Jesus show you
strength through a prayer.
Never let Satan
to tear you apart.
Let Jesus help you then
within your heart.
Jesus will always be
your standing stone
so never think that
you are alone.

Mercy Street

This street so sweet
as time’s prepared
is what’s found
when life’s repaired.
This great street
of timeless age
turns forever
center stage.
This street so sweet
that I know true
is what’s found
in every view.
The love from Jesus
that I know
gives me blessings
that will grow.
Yes I love
this street so sweet
that I call
my mercy street.

Haiku
for Oct 27, 2012

Tomorrows lessons
might be hidden in today
that you’ve yet to learn.

Suddenly sunrise
becomes the main topic found
until it is gone.

Effortless flowers
grow on as timeless clockwork
repeating stages.

Controlling people
needs be done with acceptance,
for they may not change.

Snow will soon be seen
as wintertime comes knocking
bringing in a chill.

Hidden are blessings
in the things of day to day
that we may not see.

Looking for shadows
might find one looking for you
to see if it fits.

When thinking too much
you might miss what’s before you.
Loosen up a bit.

Various journeys
have there predestined pathways
ending in trouble.

Youthful ways of thought
can make your age not matter.
Be a kid at heart.

When the raindrops fall
they leave their pitter patter
as sounds that we hear.

Today is a day
that gives chance for new choices,
so use them wisely.

Playing a fools game
guaranties you a problem
a little later.

Causing a conflict
could bounce right back in your face.
Leave some things alone.

Your own desires
can give you many troubles.
See if you need them.

If found with anger
let it have time to cool down
before you act out.

Down a bumpy road
leaves remembered aches and pains
that turn to lessons.

Ageless are turnstiles
that open and close with time
that glimmer with joy.

The links of a chain
describe our lives as we grow
leaving good and bad.

Hearing a story
does not make it a true one.
It could be made up.

With now as shadows
tomorrow becomes essence
of who that we are.

Many will follow
a dumb man that looks real smart
and not see the truth.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

Well it’s yet another day in paradise hehehe and the
weather has been in rain mode all night and morning.
It has though ceased. It’s 57F degrees right now at
1PM. Here lately there have been a few surprises,
such as today we got a second dog. His name is Milo
and he’s a Lhasa Apso. He and Benny are slowly
making friends. Benny is all excited and can’t calm
down, but Milo is resting in one of the doggie beds
in here. Benny still wants to play and all that stuff,
but Milo is still getting used to being here. He seems
to have gotten used to our home. We took Benny
and Milo outside to play and possibly potty hehehe
and we were going to let Milo stay outside for a bit,
but when we started coming in the house, he beat
us up the steps LOL. He’s made himself right at
home. It seems he’s not as picky as Benny is about
food and all and he went like a little vacuum eating
the treats that Benny just left on the floor hehehehe.
I hope they make good friends. Benny likes him alot,
but Milo is 8 years old and a little slow in making
friends. Time will tell. I might put a few pictures
of them in my stationery. Hehehe we got pictures
of them laying the same bed together. So sweet!
Milo is up now and under my feet as the same as
Benny. Why do dogs like to hunker down under
me or on me LOL? Ok so my nick name is Animal.
I’ve always gotten along well with animals. Judy’s
got Milo in her lap now trying to get Benny to calm
down and let him relax. I was holding Benny, but
he got too hard to hold, plus it’s literally impossible
to type while holding him LOL. It’s almost too hard
with Benny and his whining to play with Milo, but
I’ll manage somehow. Judy and the boys are now
all in the bedroom lying on the bed together. Judy
knew I was having trouble focusing on my writing
so she took them in there. OK, so Benny and Milo
followed me in there when I had to go to the john
and Judy kept them in there LOL, but it seems that
Milo and Benny have made it back in here and Milo
is wanting to lay down in the doggy bed and rest,
but Benny still wants to get to know him if ya know
what I mean hehehe. In time maybe Benny will
calm down. I think he just doesn’t know what to
think of Milo. They shouldn’t have trouble with
beds, being we have 4 doggie beds to choose from.
We also bought another dog carrier to keep Milo
in when we have to go somewhere without them
We already have one for Benny that he came in
when he flew here from Missouri that we use for
Benny. Yet, they will often go with us if able.
The Pearce’s Place is getting quite lively hehehe
if ya know what I mean. Benny and Milo are
almost the very same size. Neither one will get
any bigger. They both weigh about 20 pounds.
Not too much else has gone on around this neck
of the woods. Wintertime has been knocking on
our door often, but so far the only snow we’ve
seen was last Sunday morning. God has blessed
us with some beautiful days and some wonderful
moments. Yes, we’ve had more than our share
of problems, but we’ve survived. If you’re having
troubles that are wearing on your nerves, then
give them to Jesus in a prayer. You don’t have
to be kneeling. I pray often when I’m cooking,
watching TV or lying down in bed. God is there
always to hear your prayers, but make sure that
they are sincere. Let God have control of the
outcomes. Not my will, but His will be done!
Now I think it’s time for me to begin my quest
back through all that I’ve written here to see
if I can find a good word or phrase that I can
use for the title for today’s brand new poem.
So, it’s away I go to place of my recollection
that I always like to call RECOLLECT VILLE
I believe I may have found a good title, but the
proof is in the pudding hehehe. Here goes!

We’ve Survived

Many struggles
thereunto
we’ve survived
to start anew.
Times we’ve stumbled
and fell down
we’ve survived
to better ground.
It’s our lessons
that we’ve gained
that which give
sometimes explained.
God is there with
love and care
when you take time
for a prayer.
Let Him guide you
where you go
as He gives your
needs to know.
Times will surely
be derived
with the answers
we’ve survived.

So, there ya go. Judy put the dogs outside for me
so I could concentrate on writing the poem hehehe.
Both of them were once again playing under my
feet leaving me no foot room LOL. Boys will be
boys 🙂 I wonder how Milo is going to take to the
snow when it starts coming in sheets hehehehe.
Benny loves it. It’s hard to get him to come back
inside when there’s snow outside LOL. I hope
Benny and Milo grow to be the best of friends 🙂
Yet they do have an age difference, being Benny
is only 1 year old and Milo is 8, but Milo still
seems to have a lot of pup in him. His breed is
known to live for 20 years so he has a long ways
to go and a lot of years with us. Heck, I’ll be
dead and gone before him LOL. I told Judy
that if I die in the wintertime to just toss my old
carcass out in the deep snow hehehe. I mean
I do love the snow 🙂 and love to play in it even
if my body gets a little ccccold hehehe. Yep,
I’m still a kid at heart. Ok so before I get stuck
in rambling mode totally, I need to tell you what
I tell you every week and that is, I wrote some
more poems and haiku. Yep, 10 more poems
with 2 of them being Christmas poems. Also
I wrote 22 more haiku for all of my haiku lovers
out there. Ok I reckon it’s time for me to be
searching for that blasted off switch that just
loves to hide in the weirdest places, but not
before I wish you a most joyful and blessed
week. Remember, Jesus loves you and we do
too. Now to find that off switch. I think I can
see it poking its head out from behind the salt
shaker to see if there are any dogs around LOL.
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Time To Rest

When I’m weak and
time has passed
time to rest
might come at last.
Yet some moments
rest appears
as just figments
yesteryears.
Now I sit here
thinking true
of what all that
I’m to do.
Life moves forward
leaving scenes
sometimes painted
as my dreams
and then I try
to do my best
to seek that moment
time to rest.

Secrets of Love

Some think that love is
how that you feel
or how that you think
with sexual appeal.
Some people view love
as just a mere time
that is filled solely
of things oh so fine.
Yet here’s the secret
of love that I know
and that it is something
Lord God makes to flow.
When seeing someone
of which you have found
that makes your heartbeat
to beat a loud sound.
Someone that surely
completes your own life
maybe as a good friend
or a husband or wife.
The secrets of love
are still not so clear,
but its existence
is still so sincere.
Look for the patterns
that God has inlaid
and the secrets of love
might surely be made.

The Fishing Hole

Within my memories
I now remember
certain times living as
times burning ember.
My Paw Paw and I
just fishing away
on through the night
until break of day.
The fishing hole
was sometimes a lake
or maybe a pond,
but fun no mistake.
We baited our hooks
and tossed them on in
the fishing hole
of time and agin.
We stayed so silent
on through the night,
but Paw Paw and me
were feeling alright.
We would then end
our nights fishing scene
with what that now
fills just like a dream.
Starting up the boat
to head back to shore
so to return then
just like before.
Now those days live on
as just memories
as that of shadows
of leaves on the trees.

Each Day Surmises

Minutes might seem as
just seconds to see
whether or not
you walk slow or flee.
Sometimes a moment
might seem as to freeze
leaving you standing
within a slight breeze.
Often a segment
of our time we view
will just continue
without me and you.
People and places
that you have forgot
will still continue then
whether or not.
Breezes will blow on
as each day surmises
whether or not
the sun or moon rises.

God and I

We found connections
as time moved along
through all my ventures
of which now are gone.
God and I now
are friends very true
found through Lord Jesus
that loves me and you.
I’ve had some wild times
that I’m not so proud,
but through those moments
are lessons endowed.
Now I see life in
a much different scale
now seeking Heaven
and not that of Hell.
God and I now
have heartbeats the same
found through the blessings
of Jesus Christ’s Name.
I’m still a sinner,
but forgiven through love
found now from Jesus
and Lord God above.

The Sounds of Lapping

When I am sitting here
or maybe napping
I can most often
here Benny lapping.
Drinking some water
from his water bowl
as his dog day then
maybe unfold.
He might then bark
at something he hears
or maybe something
of which then he fears.
Yet when he’s thirsty
he might be found
lapping his water
with that splashing sound.
The sounds of lapping
lets us to know true
that he is standing
behind me and you.

Rekindled Blessings

When your with worries
and cannot see clear
what you’re to do
sometime in the year,
rekindle blessings
from times long ago
and let them live now
wherever you go.
Good times from past days
will ease your mind
if you will let them
to help you unwind.
Rekindled blessings
can help you to see
clearer the moments
that God gave for free.
Use all your memoirs
of blessings sublime
to help you make it then
time after time.

Pointless Perception

Shadows of sadness
billow as clouds
pointless perception
seen through some shrouds.
Leaving your lessons
as just mere pain
makes them as torment
nothing to gain.
Pointless perception
flavors your sight
if you allow it
not to see right.
Let not perceptions
of all you see
become what billows
as sadness debris.
Seek for God’s blessings
in your perception
and not just pointless
through your deception.
Find out what’s better
for you then to view
that’s not so pointless
and sad to accrue.

In This Season

Emotional waves
of stages of time
come in this season
of Christmas design.
Pages of turnstiles
flavored with snow
display the seasons
with lights all aglow.
Awakening scenes
with many a sight
found within day
and also at night.
Trees all decked out
found on display
seen in ones windows
day after day.
Love found from Heaven
is in this season
found as Lord Jesus
the true very reason.
Emotional bonds
from times long ago
then are the blessings
found within snow.
Scenes as a turnstile
time has let in
this is true Christmas
forgiven from sin.

Snowflakes Fall

Soon the seasons
snowflakes fall
landing surely
over all.
Finding places
yet to land
where someone
might find to stand.
Snowflakes fall
in cold of winter
landing then there
front and center.
Giving signs
of Christmas day
in their own then
special way.
They all sparkle
in sunlight
and then maybe
through the night.
Showing scenes
of Christmastime
with their own
unique design.
Snowflakes fall
to soon be found
Christmastime
then all-round.
With their sparkles
everywhere
they remind
of answered prayer.

Haiku
for Oct 20, 2012

Life might seem hurried,
but be just your perception
and how you view it.

A violet grows
making beauty to be seen
in the distant fields.

Beyond now today
lies chances for tomorrow
and lessons to learn.

Leaves might be falling
as a frolicking lifestyle
of what they once were.

We will all stumble
but it’s learning from stumbles
that makes stepping stones.

Storm clouds of weather
might be found really scary,
but beautiful.

Feelings we’ve hidden
can emerge in wrong timeframes,
so don’t let them hide.

When blowing off steam
you might hurt ones around you
if you’re not careful.

Windows of folly
can be seen as just stupid
and not humorous.

Written in daylight
are the words of creation
that many don’t see.

Believing in God
needs the truth to live within
and then in your life.

Wintertime’s stages
are soon set into motion
as white snowflakes fall.

Mornings will arrive
as the sun makes its journey
throughout every night.

Wonders of people
are viewed within their own light
and with difference.

Leaving your anger
as something taken to bed
will cause you nightmares.

A flowing river
leaves many footprints to find
after it has ceased.

Blowing in the wind
only gives a small portion
of what that is there.

Venturous people
often get lost in there time
as pages are turned.

Not learning lessons
guarantees that they’ll return
as your reminders.

Actuality
is the truth found in your life,
not what you’ve made up.

When love comes your way,
make sure that it is truthful
and not fictitious.

Seasonal shadows
leaves their trails as memories
of spring to winter.

Your frosty friend Bill 🙂

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friend

I hope you have been doing OK.  Judy and I have
been being lazy for the past few days.  Not much
to do,  plus since I’ve dropped off of my Mountain
Dews and started drinking Sprites,  I don’t have
any energy LOL.  No caffeine!  Being I stay in a
weakened state anyways due to other problems
the caffeine was the only thing keeping me going.
Oh well,  I’ve decided to drink maybe only 1 or 2
Mountain Dews a day to put a little caffeine in my
system to help me make it LOL.  That seems to
work at least a little hehehe.  No problem,  I like
Sprites being they don’t taste that much different
than Mountain Dews hehehehe and the good part
is they don’t leave a yellow stain in my mustache
the way Mountain Dews do from their yellow dyes.
Ok,  so it’s onto another topic.  Judy and I took a
little drive down south of us to Cutler Maine last
Tuesday.  We took tons of pictures and I once
again took pictures while Judy drove all the way
down there LOL.  Benny got to see the ocean for
the first time.  Of course Cutler Maine is built in
a little inlet to the ocean with outlets to open sea
in the near distance,  but I’m sure Benny enjoyed
it just the same.  There are many lobster fishing
vessels docked out in the deeper waters with one
at the docks preparing for their next trip out to
sea.  I took a few videos of them and other ships
coming in and going out.  Judy took some pictures
of me and Benny on the docks.  It was a peaceful
day.  A man came walking a Corgi Chiwawa mix
and Benny fell in love LOL and parting was such
great sorrow hehehe.  Yet, Benny soon forgot all
about her.  We stopped off here and there to take
pictures as we saw sights on the road back home.
We had fun going through all of the pictures when
we got home.  Oh yea,  Thursday an oil delivery
truck came to deliver oil that we did not order and
I kept telling him we did not order any being we
don’t even order from their company,  but he still
insisted that he had the right address.  He may of
had the right address on paper,  but not the right
address needing oil.  Anyways,  he delivered it only
to arrive at our house the next morning to tell us
that the guy that paid for the order gave the wrong
address.  So I said is that my fault?  I told him time
and again before he began pumping that we did
not order any oil and I did not know anybody that
would of ordered it for us.  I said my mom lives
in Texas and she couldn’t cause she would have
no clue where to order LOL.  Anyways,  he asked
if we could pay for it and Judy and I both said, NO.
We are barely making it as is and for sure cannot
afford to pay him 200 + dollars for that 50 gallons
that he stupidly deposited in our tank.  So he asked
if he could pump it back out and I said yes,  but on
one condition,  I will be moderating your every
move to make sure you only take the 50 gallons,
because I knew exactly how much we had in the
beginning being I checked it before he ever started
pumping.  So he came again Saturday morning
and the chore of pumping out his MISTAKE then
began.  It all got done and we lost nothing,  but
he lost a lot of time and gas/diesel having to return
back eight miles out of town to do this procedure,
but it was his and the guy ordering the oil that was
at fault.  I just did what I knew in my heart was
right,  being I didn’t want anyone to go without
heat because of a stupid mistake.  Anyways it’s
all taken care of and life moves on.  Today is yet
another day with more mysteries to be found in
our surroundings.  Life can either go up or down.
Many times it’s just our perception and the way
that we react that makes the difference.  Other
times it just happens and we need to deal with
it with acceptance.  If you spend your life trying
to change things that you have no control of
then you could find yourself just fighting a losing
battle.  I learned one big thing when I went to AA
back decades ago and that was this little motto.
God grant me the serenity to accept the things
that I cannot change,  the courage to change
the things that I can and the wisdom to know
the difference and live life one day at a time for
we can change tomorrow by doing our best
today.  I’ve been clean and sober since June 11,
1990.  I don’t do AA anymore, but the lessons
still live as I grow further in life every day.  God
is my higher power.  He is my rock which keeps
me in his midst through His Son Jesus Christ.
Let your mistakes in life become your lessons
in life and grow.  Don’t let the mistakes become
just merely horrible memories.  Learn that there
are two sides to a coin just as their are two sides
to a life.  You might be seeing the wrong side
on a bad day.  Let God help you with your
sight.  I find that when I pray,  the things that
I was praying for seem to become easier to
handle.  Sooooooo, I guess it’s time for me to
be taking my little waltz back through all that
I’ve written here to see if I can find a good word
or phrase that might work well for the title for
today’s brand new poem.  So it’s away I go to
that place of my recollection that I always like
to call RECOLLECT VILLE.  I think I found
a good title,  but I’ve first got to check to make
sure I haven’t already used it hehehehehehe.
Ok it hasn’t been used.  So here goes nothing!

A Stupid Mistake

Times might envision
a scene thereunto
a stupid mistake
you saw someone do.
Often we make them
those timeless mistakes
and they become as our
lives of Earthquakes.
Don’t let the moments
that mistakenly came
live on as horrors
as each day the same.
Lord God allows us
our own humanity
to find through mistakes
what’s better to see.
Learning through mishaps
can help you to grow
giving you lessons
much better to know.

Okie dokie,   there ya go 🙂  I hope you understood
that poem.  If not then hehehe Oh Well!  It snowed
a little early this morning and I hung my camera out
the front door and took a few pictures.  Of course it
has all melted being the ground is not cold enough
yet for it to hang around,  but it will soon be hehehe.
Judy said that when she let Benny out to go potty,
he stood looking a tad confused at all of the white
stuff that he remembered from when he first came
to us.  He absolutely loves snow,  just like his dad 🙂
Yeppers,  I become a little boy again when it snows.
I love to play in it and make an attempt to build a
snowman,  but so far have only made a very small
facsimile of one LOL.  Maybe this year hehehehe.
Yes of course I make snow angels,  which turn out
to be over weight snow angels being I’m a rather
big guy LOL.  OK so before I get too far into my
rambling mode again I need to tell ya what I tell
ya every week and that is I wrote some more
poems and haiku.  10 more poems with 3 of them
being Christmassy and one of them in a sort of
Christmassy feel.  Also yes I wrote 22 more haiku
for all of my haiku lovers out there.  I hope you
find something that makes you smile.  Now I
believe it’s time for me to be searching for that
off switch that loves to play hide and seek,  but
not before I wish you a most joyful and God
filled week.  Remember,  Jesus loves you and
we do too. Now to find that rambunctious little
off switch that loves to play tag LOL.  Found
it once again hiding in my Aspirin bottle.  Looks
like he’s ran out of hiding places hehehehehehe.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Headaches

Aching times of
then and there
sometimes come
remembered flare.
Headaches from
a moments game
might right now
seem as insane.
All the problems
now has told
become lessons
from the old.
Many headaches
once desired
now are just
our hell transpired.
Let the lessons
be well read
and not just
regret instead.
For it’s with your
times mistakes
that you learn from
the headaches.

Living True

When in a moment
don’t let your thinking
become as words
of a ship that is sinking.
Don’t paint your pictures
for others to see
that are not you then
in not a degree.
Try living true
with now and agin
seeking for only
the lesser of sin.
Don’t let your shadows
to not live inside.
Make them as truthful
with nothing to hide.
Seek for the visions
that God wants for you
as you continue
your best living true.

Moments Worship

When we’ve found
some things we see
as much better
for you and me,
we might also
not see true
that we worship
thereunto.
A moments worship
might expose
all of our own
cons and pros.
Don’t make wrong
the things you choose
moments worship
wanting views.
Let Lord Jesus
be what’s found
moments worship
solid ground.

Christmastime’s Seconds

Songs deep within me
display such a scene
that can find surely
as Christmastime dream.
Singing of Jesus
and old Santa Claus
fills me with many
scenes oohs and ahs.
Christmastimes seconds
counted in frame
help us remember
why Jesus Christ came.
Those through the desert
from so far away
came to see Jesus
that wonderful day.
Then was a young boy
beating his drum
the best that he could
for Jesus God’s Son.
So, when I think Christmas
I truly behold
times filled with passion
from moments of old.

Heaven Is There

Beyond our eyesight
this place does exist
more than a rain cloud
more than a mist.
This special place is
a wonderful joy
found then with Jesus
and love to deploy.
Without an ending
and filled full of prayer
God gave His promise
that Heaven is there.
Awaiting our moment
of time to release
leaving our bodies
and then finding peace.
Yes Heaven is there
just awaiting for you
when it’s the right time
to be made as new.

Life With Christmas

Today and tomorrow
have minutes to see
a life with Christmas
through our history.
All of our moments
and all of our thoughts
found without Christmas
would surely be lost.
A life with Christmas
brings truly a stage
painted with happiness
page unto page.
Rhythms of singing
songs of God’s Son
a life without Christmas
would just be undone.
Let not the others
to take it away,
for a life with Christmas
is a wonderful day.

Making a Face

Smiling not truly
might lead to a flaw,
but it can also
make many frowns thaw.
When making a face
make sure it’s a grin
and not just pouting
of time and agin.
Let your yesterdays
be what that’s learned,
but make the torment
the bridges you’ve burned.
Don’t forget Jesus
was there all the while
maybe beside you
just wearing a smile.
He allows lessons
we’ve daily acquired
to help us make it
much stronger transpired.
Let yourself blossom
with God’s Holy Grace
sometimes just smiling
or making a face.

When in Disrepair

Forrest of problems
might come unglued
leaving your heartbeat
a bit misconstrued.
When in disrepair
kneel down then to pray
and say to Lord Jesus
please help me today.
Let not your worries
to cloud up your views.
Let Jesus help you
each step in your shoes.
Look for the blessings
that you might of missed
and then most surely
put them on the list.
So when you’re worried
or needing a prayer
let Jesus help you
when in disrepair.

Sights of Christmas

When driving around
awaiting December
I can see signs
that I can remember.
The sights of Christmas
found here,  there and to
springing up slowly
within every view.
Soon there’ll be snow
all over the ground
with sights of Christmas
more to be found.
There will be glittering
lights here and there
lighting the nights up
their own special flare.
All of that beauty
I now anticipate
the sights of Christmas
I just cannot wait.

That First Snowflake

Now and then
I search the sky
seeking snowflakes
that will fly.
That first snowflake
that I see
will become the
best for me.
Then as more fall
to the ground
they might build
the biggest mound.
Hiding all the
sights below
with the falling
of the snow.
That first snowflake
brings me joy
in this grownup
inner boy.
I still love to
play around
in the snow
upon the ground.
Making angels
and snowmen
when that season
does begin.
So I search on
no mistake
looking for that
first snowflake.

Haiku
for Oct 13,  2012

Placing a teardrop
in unnecessary times
might be crying wolf.

Letting tomorrow
to live on as it’s destined
could make now better.

Seen through a porthole
a view might seem much darker
than it truly is.

December snowflakes
become a part of the pictures
found within Christmas.

Yesterdays heartaches
could become ulcers today
if you allow them.

Summertimes flowers
soon find rest in October
as fall comes alive.

Saddening echoes
only keep alive the past,
so move to today.

Displays of snowflakes
might seem as the very same,
but they are unique.

Various people
have their own ways of living
that might seem the same.

Tomorrow evolves
from the patterns we have set,
so make them real good.

With many staring
there is sure to be a flaw
due to nervousness.

When wearing a smile
try to make it a good one
truth can emulate.

Seeking others stuff
might leave you feeling empty.
Be happy with you.

Moments surely come
with their many surprises.
Be ready for change.

A rose is a rose
as it changes formations
from opened to closed.

Good times we’ve been through
often come alive in time
after they are gone.

A hateful wording
is often times remembered
better than pictures.

Wintertime’s pictures
come alive as many snowflakes
land upon the ground.

Dismal perception
might find you standing alone,
so get out of it.

Bending what that’s true
could end in a total lie
so don’t bend too much.

Withered reflections
can evolve into the mind.
Seek good reflections.

Tomorrow awaits
while today brings us chances
to change tomorrow.

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

So it’s another week gone by as I sit once again
in this folding chair to write what goes on it this
neck of the woods 🙂 and yes I said folding chair.
My computer chair broke a few weeks ago and
with all of the things that have gone wrong lately
we’ve not been able to afford to buy me another
chair LOL, so here I sit until maybe Christmas.
Hehehe life goes on. Well it’s onto another topic
that is better. Judy and I went to her daughters
wedding yesterday (Saturday). Tom and Mandy
have been together for over 14 years and now they
are married. The wedding was blissful. Judy and
I had a great time. I was the photographer so I
took a few videos of the wedding along with some
pictures and as we moved to the reception, I took
ton and tons more pictures and videos. There was
a lot of dancing and being silly hehehe. Yes Judy
and I danced a number of times 🙂 Our grandson
Christian used Judy’s camera to try to take a few
of Judy and I dancing, but many of them came out
blurry, but we’re happy with them none the less 🙂
It started freaking raining almost immediately after
the wedding so we got totally drenched while we
took what Judy cooked to the reception building.
Hehehe we looked like drowned rats, but it was
all good. We had a blast. Both mine and Judy’s
feet and backs were killing us later. Judy had
to take off her highheels and slip into some much
more comfortable shoes after dancing a while :).
When we got home we spent hours watching and
listening to the videos and looking at all of the
pictures. We started going through them and
picking out the ones to keep and ones to delete.
Also we must of watched the videos over and
over tons of times. Judy loved the video of her
and her sisters as well as her daughters dancing
to a rambunctious version of the Cotton Eye Joe.
Benny was so excited for us to finally get home
after being away for 7 hours that he couldn’t
even bark. He just screamed and squeaked as
he jumped all over us. We left him in his cage
with food and water and some chew toys and
treats to keep him company. Darn it hehehe
he spilled his water. He was wet LOL, but he
was happy mom and dad were home. When
we went to bed he made sure he was sleeping
with us. I went to the bathroom only to come
out and see him sitting on the edge of the bed
with his little puppy smile saying I’m ready to
snuggle hehehehe. He spent most of the night
snuggled up to my legs. I would try to move
and he would just lay there. If I moved too
much then he just scooted a little on my legs.
Although I think he finally got ready to get
in his own bed as he hopped off of the bed
and walked over to it and laid down. I looked
over at him and he just looked at me and then
laid down his head to sleep with a smile and a
breath of contentment. I know, this might
be boring as all get out to you hehehe, but
it’s our lives. Judy and I took us a fall drive
down south Wednesday and got a few good
pictures. I of course took a lot of pictures as
she drove as always LOL. Also I got a lot of
good pictures here in our front yard of the
fall colors. I just now stuck my camera out
the door to get a few pictures and Benny
wanted to go outside. I took his picture
as well LOL. So, the Pearce’s Place has
been a busy one this passed week. Yeppers
it’s been one thing after another, but yet
good things 🙂 I wrote Tom and Mandy
a little wedding poem titled Wedding Vows
and made it into a picture and framed it
and we gave it to them at the reception.
God has blessed me with the gift of poetry
and I try to use to the best of my abilities
to help others and give a smile. He has
also given you a gift. It might not be one
that stands out, but it is one that would
be great to share with others. All of our
gifts may vary, but none is less than the
other. They’re all important in God’s eyes
and needed to be used. Let God show
you your gift and teach you how to use
it. Don’t let your ego to get the best of
you thinking yours is any more greater than
anyone else’s. Now that I have gone and
done my rambling as usual hehehe I guess
it’s time for me to revisit that place of my
recollections through all that I’ve written
here to see if I can find a good word or
phrase that might work well for the title
for today’s brand new poem. So it’s away
I go to that place that I always like to call
RECOLLECT VILLE. I think I may of
stumbled upon a good title. Now let’s see
if I can write a decent poem using it 🙂
Here goes……..maybe nothing LOL.

7 Hours

Seventy times seven
many might find
as just a minute
or moment in time.
7 hours seen
in a little ones eyes
might display days
of a perfect surprise.
Time is accounted
as our bible says
7 minutes 7 hours
or so many days.
Then as forgiveness
is seventy times seven
your own 7 hours
might be found in Heaven.
Jesus died for us
and now He lives on
7 hours 7 minutes
7 centuries sown.
He lives forever
and forgives us the same
7 hours 7 minutes
with forever His name.

©By Bill Pearce
Oct 7, 2012

Ok, so did that make any sense to ya? I hope that
it did. Often I have no clue if what I begin with is
actually going to make any sense at all hehehehehe.
I just went and looked outside the front door to see
if Benny was ready to come in and I couldn’t see
him, so I hollered hey Benny and he came running
as fast as his legs would move him. He was ready
to come back inside LOL. He’s playing on our bed
now with one of his chew toys. I take that back,
he just threw my pillow off of the bed LOL. Silly
boy. Well, he ain’t hurting anything 🙂 Now he’s
barking for me to come play with him hehehehe.
I’ll be in there in a bit Benny 🙂 I’ll try and tune
him out for the moment. So I guess I need to be
telling you what I tell you every week and that is
I wrote some more poems and haiku. I wrote
10 more poems with 2 of them being Christmassy.
Also I might include the poem that I wrote for
Tom and Mandy. Yes of course I wrote 22 more
haiku for all of the many haiku lovers out there.
Benny ran in here a minute ago wanting us to
play with him. He ran up to Judy and played
keep away. Judy said what do ya want and I
said he wants ya to go in there and play with
him. So guess what? They’re in the other room
now playing hehehe. He’s such a good little boy.
Judy came in here just now and said Benny
wanted to go back outside. So, guess where
he is now? Hehehe yeppers, he’s our little
boy. Now I believe it’s time once again for
me to be searching for that confounded off
switch, but not before I wish you a most
joyful and God filled week. Remember, Jesus
loves you and we do too. Now to find that
off switch. I think I can see it poking its
head out from behind my soda can hehehe.
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems and haiku
10+1 and 22 hehehehehehehehehe

This is the poem I wrote for
Tom and Mandy McGraw
Congratulations to
my stepdaughter and son in law.

Wedding Vows

The passing years
that two have found
led them to
some common ground.
Two together
in passing years
found themselves
as love endears.
Their wedding vows
of this great day
shall never ever
go away.
Loving passion
time has seen
the passing years
found from a dream.
Now these dreamers
found a place
this great day
in God’s Own grace.

This Will Pass

Lives found worried
with bitter pills
turn to mounds
that time fulfills.
This will pass
as time moves on
dusk to dusk
and dawn to dawn.
Troubles essence
might return
with some lessons
yet to learn.
This will pass
as fleeting sights
as remembered
days and nights.
Time might flourish
views one day
as this will pass
and be OK.

Windows So Dusty

Looking for Jesus
when views are misled
windows so dusty
might seem full of dread.
Jesus is there now
just waiting for you
windows so dusty
might need looking through.
You might of lost your
vision one day
when you let someone
to turn you away.
Clean up those windows
that dust has acquired
and then let Jesus
be vision transpired.
See how He loves you
no matter your sin
and let Him help you
to better begin.

Christmas Prelude

Decembers beginnings
brings forth a scene
that many think of
as only a dream.
The Christmas prelude
of seasonal cheer
comes forth with blessings
that many adhere.
I remember mornings
of Christmastime joy
back when I was
just a little boy.
The Christmas prelude
brought to this child
that by comparison
made others mild.
The smell of Christmas
and wonderful sights
made me seek Santa
and all his delights.

Painted Pictures

Times October
finds a place
living as a
seasons face.
Fall comes quickly
with its scenes
painted pictures
living dreams.
Leaves all falling
one by one
landing where the
times begun.
Painted pictures
come to view
some as seen
a reddish hue.
Picture postcards
then are found
on the trees
and on the ground.

Mornings Glimmer

Certain times come
as sunrise does simmer
found as a porthole
within mornings glimmer.
Shadows of nighttime
then fall away
as mornings glimmer
brings a new day.
Pages of stories
written and heard
are sometimes found as
the wings of a bird.
Chirps in the distance
come as a glance
with mornings glimmer
as times song and dance.
Fragments of sunshine
display many scenes
as that of flavors
of passionate greens.
Leaves all a swaying
within mornings breeze
give way for shadows
from high in the trees.
Sounds from an echo
of times long ago
is mornings glimmer
of life to and fro.

Forever Christmas

When time moves along
with seasons then done
forever Christmas
is always to come.
Living inside me
as days come to pass
forever Christmas
is always to last.
Time might display
a much different view,
but deep down within me
my Christmas is true.
Found as a minute,
an hour or day
forever Christmas
lives on beyond May.
Then as the months move
with minutes to find
forever Christmas
lives deep in my mind.

Heaven is Waiting

When my times over
with no more to choose
Heaven is waiting
with nothing to lose.
All of my loved ones
that went before me
I’ll find in Heaven
so happy to see.
My pains will end then
with shimmering love
as I’m embodied
anew up above.
Heaven is waiting
for my time to come
as I see truly
Lord Jesus God’s Son.
There’ll be no sadness
or timeless debating
for I’ll be hole then,
because Heaven is waiting.

Suggested Thoughts

Things that we’re thinking
might really be not.
They might be something
of suggested thought.
Things that we’ve heard
from a moment of time
might just be someone’s
suggested design.
Don’t let suggestions
to lead you astray.
Let better thinking
to guide you today.
Suggested thoughts
from TV’s and more
might just mislead you
to think you adore.
Use some good judgment
and see through the lie,
before you let someone
to cause you to buy.

Winter’s Serenade

The stage is set
for time to come
the serenade
of winters drums.
Rekindled snowflakes
falling free
the winters serenade
is soon to see.
Seasonal pages
turning with speed
giving us stories
of which we can read.
White snow that billows
landing in place
painting the ground
as a seasonal face.
Windows of winter
are snow billows laid
chilling as blessings
of winter’s serenade.

Answers We’ve Found

So many questions
to what we don’t know
answers we’ve found
might unsurely flow.
Often ones answers
are just but a guess
that lead us surely
into a deep mess.
Questionable thinking
to answers you’ve found
could become problems
as times go around.
Let not your hurry
to find answers true
if you’ve made sure
they’re better to do.
Answers we’ve found
might be just a haze
with someone guessing
just seeking a praise.

but they have no smell.

Within a blizzard
a person might walk blindly
in wrong directions.

Life is perception
of how you might perceive it
with each day that comes.

Looking through doorways
you might see something wrongly
that was just a thing.

The passing of days
brings some new days to follow
that might be better.

Living in shadows
leaves yourself misdirected
for they are not you.

Insects go daily
in their predetermined paths
that time has portrayed.

Onlooking trouble
could find you as a stalker
just trying to see.

When within a storm
you might see a lot of rain,
but rainbows will come.

Sometimes closed curtains
only seek to hide the sunshine
and not just secrets.

Far beyond a glance
there might be a better view
that needs attention.

Not allowing someone
to be who they’re meant to be
might prevent their growth.

Words in a story
often paint a few pictures
of truth or fiction.

Sometimes a lemon
will become something better
as time moves along.

Plowing a garden
leaves a gardener sleepy,
but with happy thoughts.

Raindrops of mercy
fall as seconds of blessings
to help us make it.

When you are in love
your eyes might be blind of truth
walking into storms.

Repeating moments
brings chance for reoccurrence
of the good and bad.

The joy of marriage
brings together two as one
with future to see.

Waiting for trouble
might make your mind to wrongly
see what that’s coming.
