Be Fulfilled

ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

How’s life treating you? It’s been still rather cool up here. I have a
sneaky feeling that when I finally make my trip to Texas hopefully in
July, I may suffocate from the heat LOL. Hehehe it’s supposed to get
up to 80 degrees by Thursday up here, but most of the time stay in the
70’s. That’s in the day of course. Nights around 40’s and 50’s. Today
is supposed to be a high of 61 F. Oh well, I am sure I will enjoy my
visit to Texas when I finally make it. I’m hoping nothing happens to
cause me not to be able to make the trip. Keep me in your prayers 🙂
Right now it’s sort of hard to focus with our landlord or whom ever
out there that’s mowing the lawn, but I’ll do my best. Judy and the rest
of the employees at her place of business are anxiously awaiting the
opening of the new Diner. They have been working in a temporary
building since last years fire engulfed the old diner. The owner of the
diner is contemplating on whether to go ahead and keep the temporary
restaurant open along with the new diner when it is finally ready for
opening for business. Time will tell. My life here at the old Pearce
mansion/house LOL has not changed much. Yet Judy is now walking
out with me each day to check the mail to help her legs as her doctor
ordered and I suggested a while back :). Hehehe it’s a toss up to see
who collapses first, but if I stop walking to check the mail, I might
get to the point that I’ll not be able to walk at all, so walk I must, even
if it hurts 🙂 . Yeppers, life has been sort of same ole same ole lately.
I think I’m going to try and work on that DVD video for my friend
Brian either today or tomorrow. We shall see. I see by my weather
program that by Tuesday, the winds should be subsided enough for
him to fly his RC planes and I might get out there and get some more
pictures and videos. He has a couple of trolling boats and asked me
if I wanted to go fishing with him this summer. I told him I haven’t
been fishing since sometime in the late 70’s and I don’t own a fishing
rod. He said no problem, he has some extra rods and reels. All
I need to do is get a fishing license. I may do that soon. That will
most surely lead to some more picture taking LOL. You know me
and my camera hehehehe, I never go anywhere without it hehehehe.
I think I acquired a taste for photography when in high school when
I worked for the Will’s Point Chronicle. I learned how to type set,
develop film, plate burn, page set up, set up and run the printing
press and how to get the best shots with a camera. I had always
had an interest in photography, but it seems I never could afford
a good camera. Yet now days I have a couple of great cameras
and I use them most every day LOL. I’m not sure if I will bring my
camera or just buy a cheap one when I get to Texas being on one
of mine and Judy’s flights to and from Maine our luggage got lost
on the return trip back to Texas and when we did get our luggage,
her camera which was the only one in the bag, was screwed up
and would not take good pictures afterwards. It all depends on
what answers I get when I call the airport or if any of you know
the answer to that little question of can I take my camera aboard
the plane with me in my baggage or not! I may though just buy
me a fairly descent cheap camera when I get to Texas and leave
my good ones at home especially my Canon Power Shot that I use
most of time. Love my camera 🙂 . I am all excited about the trip,
but I know I have to wait till July for the flight, because I won’t
have enough funds saved until next month when I finally schedule
my flight. I’m hoping to get a reasonable price for my flight so
I will not have to spend as much, but time will tell. I’ll do as I’ve
always done, shop for the best price 🙂 . I firstly will make sure
that Judy is taken care of with food and all necessities. She has
access to my PC if she needs anything, but she has her own so I
don’t see a problem there, unless hers goes down for some reason
or another. I’ve showed her how to do my emails if by chance I
run into problems in one way or another. Hey, it’s better safe
than sorry. My old friend Mike Musser called me a softy, but if
me caring and all is being a softy, then yeppers, I’m a softy and I
would not have it any other way hehehe neither would Judy LOL.
I have my dads blood running throughout my veins and he was a
caring soul also. He was the head chaplain at the Presbyterian
Hospital in Greenville. I was associate chaplain, but had to fall to
a phone mission when I came down with Ulcerative colitis in 1994
which turned into Crohns disease in 1995 and almost took my life
being they knew little to nothing about it at that time. It took my
dads life April 22 of 2001. Life got interesting from then on as my
dad gave many my phone number that he himself felt I would be
a better counselor 🙂 . I got quite a lot of people that were quite
nutty LOL, but my job needed to be fulfilled. Life since those days
has been rocky, but none the less rewarding. When I was forced
into retirement I understood why daddy was not happy about his
retirement. He was also forced into retirement against his will.
I learned a lot from that man. He taught me there are many other
ways of sharing my gifts of love. He still did his best to console
others in their times of sorrow and grief. I guess my role is to
help as many as I can, find peace in the love of God through my
own life. Many times ones just want to know that someone cares.
Caring is a beneficial factor in helping anyone. You cannot truly
help someone if all you are really after is payment for your work.
Yes of course many help ones, but I think they could do a much
better job if they really truly cared about the others. If you only
seek the payment for your actions, then you might find yourself
with an empty life. If you’re doing what you cannot truly put your
heart into, you might not be doing what you were called to do.
I enjoyed working, because it gave me means for helping others
days or nights to not be so dreadful. I always put on a smile and
did my best to help others to find a smile within them. Sometimes
hehehe most times I would just act silly or make up little songs off
of the top of my head and sing them. I even made up some songs
for a few of the plants I worked for. The DDR. Blues and Down
By The Time Clock were a few hehehe. God expects us to do as
best that we can and He knows there are days that we are unable.
That is why He sent us His Son. To be the strength to help get us
through the rough times. Also God has sent many guardian angels
to watch over us each one. Yet our time on Earth is numbered
and when it is time to leave, it is time to leave. There is no age
range from when our time is up. Young or old we complete our
timeframe. Do the best you can with the moments you have, for
they cannot be undone and you might not have time to do better.
With that said I reckon it’s time for me to begin my little venture
back through all I’ve written to my point of recollection to see if
I can find a good word or phrase that will work well for the title
for today’s brand new poem. So it’s off to that place that I like
to call RECOLLECT VILLE. I think I found a good title, now
let’s see what if anything at all I can do with it. Here goes….

Be Fulfilled

Times compassion
might be found
with you feeling
not so sound.
Days of weakness
will be seen
and in moments
make us lean.
God will be there
when we need
and He’ll help us
to succeed.
Yet we often
seek our gain
which that leads
sometimes to pain.
Sometimes our needs
need be skilled
in how we need
be fulfilled.
Learning daily
how to stride
letting Jesus
live inside.

Ok so there ya go hehe! I hope you enjoyed my rambling and all
as well as the poem. Yeppers I have a lot going on inside my head.
One could say I am an encyclopedia of a lot of rambling 🙂 hehehe.
It’s been a bumpy life for me growing up and the bumps at times
have gotten so large they’ve jarred me off course, but I somehow
always found my way back. My dad always told me that my rough
past as well as my future are tools to use on other days. Maybe to
even help someone else that is in the midst of where I was once in
my lifetime of travels. Well, to keep from beginning my rambling
mode once agin I guess I need to be telling you about the poems and
haikus that I wrote Saturday. Yep, I wrote 10 more poems and 22
more haikus for you to read. I hope a few of them speak to you and
you grasp the full meanings behind them. I guess I need to be looking
for that old off switch, but before I do that, I must wish you a most
wonderful week. Always remember, Jesus loves you and we do too.
Now where’s that ornery off switch hiding at this time 🙂 ?????????
Found ya you little bugger hehehe. Hiding behind the curtain won’t
save ya hehehe,,, See ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems and haikus.
10 and 22 hehehe 🙂

When They Go Looking

Many so urgent
might be unheard
for they might be
hiding their word.
Often ones stories
get put on hold
due the many
that are not told.
Portions of sorrow
might be unseen
because of not knowing
what that they mean.
Many are fractions
paved in our days
with their confusion
found in a maze.
So often anger
is all ones see
when they go looking
at you and me.

Our Minutes Standing

Meadows of virtue
live as we breathe,
but it takes someone’s
times to believe.
Passages circumstance
finds ways to move
within the meadows
that so many lose.
All of the answers
we’ll never find
until we’re standing
at our special time.
Doorways to venture
our meadows surprise
will be as glimpses
found in our eyes.
Our minutes standing
may be not cued
ready to display
what you misconstrued.

Don’t Be Stupid

Sometimes doorways
lead nowhere,
yet our footsteps
do not care.
Lost in wonder
some will find
sometimes doorways
have a mind.
Many will enter
without thought
what the doorway
is or is not.
Sometimes journals
are written down
from the doorways
of their town to town.
If you have entered
and learned anything
then the doorways
lessons may swing.
You might of needed
the things there inside
to help you open
your eyes up real wide.
Yet don’t be stupid
and gamble away
all of the blessings
God gives you each day.

Thoughts In Mind

In midst of sunrise
shadows will flow
sometimes displaying
where many things go.
Sunrise to sunset
shadows may find
place concurring
inside of our mind.
We might see clouds
just floating on by
making the shadows
from high in the sky.
We might see flowers
as they are blooming
in midst of sunrise
as they are attuning.
We might even see
some thoughts in mind
sunrise to sunset
each daily design.

Guidance Through

Periods found
might not be
times for you
or times for me.
Momentums found
with us in a hurry
may end as periods
torments of flurry.
Look to see
and say a prayer
if the time
is needed there.
Periods found
might be tossed
with a price
too high of cost.
Ask Lord God
for guidance through
and the period
won’t harm you.

Summertime’s Segue

Summertime’s segues
display so fine
things thought provoking
to lay on our mind.
Within its scenery
summertime’s found
with its displays
of all there around.
Summertime’s doorway
opens real wide
and lets its passion
of season inside.
Just like a dream world
summertime grows
giving its blessings
of which it bestows.
Summertime’s segue
soon dissipates
after the doorway
of Fall infiltrates.
With autumns colors
that fall does unwind
summertime’s segues
lives in our mind.

Helpful Device

Within a brainstorm
thought out so clear
could be the answers
from there unto here.
Yet also brainstorms
can just destroy
if they’re not thought out
before you deploy.
If you have minutes
of thoughts to display
make sure they’re something
that you ought to say.
Sometimes our moments
of thoughts deep inside
are but a fraction
of truth we’ve denied.
So if you’ve had one
a brainstorm of time
make sure it’s truly
a real good design.
Say a little prayer
and ask for advice
from someone surely
of a helpful device.

Lessons From Timeframes

Since long ago
my time has occurred
sometimes with goodness
and sometimes absurd.
Within the passages
time has prevailed
giving me lessons
that are so detailed.
Since my first birthday
I have become
daily much wiser
with each rising sun.
Days bring journeys
of footsteps in time
sometimes with endings
with only a rhyme.
Yet some moments
find in their wake
lessons from timeframes
of every mistake.

Each Morning Sun

Years will pass
as days move on
leaving us shadows
from dusk unto dawn.
Years move by
as ticking of time
paints the pictures
of its own design.
Tossed in frames
are leaves that blow
as also winter
with fluffy white snow.
Years will pass
as days move by
sometimes seeming
as wings that fly.
Timely wind
will blow its phrase
onto the years
of its own displays.
Years will pass
and years will come
with the beginning
of each morning sun.

His Special Way

Enhanced by true love
a heart might seem
better than any
that’s found in a dream.
True love that’s found
will surely bestow
hearts that are beating
and surely to grow.
Enhanced by Jesus
true love will come
if you aren’t seeking
for your will be done.
True love has flavors
that many can’t see,
for they are seeking
for now then to be.
Often our vision
is lost in the wind
when we seek true love
from only a friend.
Let Lord God guide you
to true loves array
and you will find it
in His special way.

Haiku
for May 15, 2010

Many points of time
only connect at moments
when the time is right.

Lingering footsteps
are the thoughts within our minds
that we don’t release.

Onslaught of mishap
begins when wrong’s continued
when you know it’s wrong.

When time is entered
it leaves a chance for moments,
yet not always good.

Ones environment
sometimes only displays clothes.
See what that’s inside.

The ticking of bombs
is the sound of much anger
waiting to explode.

Countless are heartbeats
found in the jungle of time
seeking for truelove.

When you’re in wonder
leave the vintage of timeless
as dreams to explore.

Upon a hillside
finds shadows of tomorrow
shining as today.

Yearning for winter
does not bring the fresh white snow.
It heightens the joy.

Springtime dissipates
leaving summertime’s paintings
waiting to be hung.

May flowers blooming
give a cascade of yellow
in front of our door.

Hearing birds singing
makes summer more enlightened
with each song they sing.

Reality finds
what actuality is.
They’re one of the same.

Upon your stepping
be careful where you’re walking.
You could hurt someone.

Right nows scenery
is a blessing in disguise,
but some don’t see it.

Leaves that are blowing
makes people fear the unknown.
Sometimes they’re just leaves.

If you are weary
with conclusions on your mind,
say a little prayer.

Giant are the thoughts
found inside of many minds,
yet they are silent.

Peace is a journey
which needs be taken today
holding onto God.

Some will find spirits
wandering with confusion
and needing a hand.

Looking to the clouds
you might see something floating
there within your mind.
