Hello my friends

It’s snowing big time outside right now
and it looks like we’ve already gotten a
foot or so to add with what we already
had LOL.  Yep,  it looks like I might
have to go out and use our snow blower
and or snow shovel to clear out places
for our boys to go potty.  Their little
legs aren’t that tall LOL.  so onwards
with my rambling.  Judy just got up
and joined the boys and I.  Right now
it is 6 F degrees outside and the high
for today is supposed to be 16 F,  so
it looks like Judy and I will be staying
in here most of the day.  I might go
outside to take a few pictures when I
do a little snow blowing.  For those
of you in the south that don’t know
what a snow blower is.  It’s a piece of
equipment that I push through the
snow and it tosses the snow many feet
away.  It clears a 13 inch path with
each passing.  We have a snow blower
and a snow shovel which are both 40
volts battery operated.  I also from
time to time have to resort to using
the manual snow shovel,  but not too
often 🙂  By the looks of things I may
have to do some snow blowing soon,
because the boys might need to go
out and potty real soon.  I bet they
had a bit of trouble going out when
I let them out earlier today hehehe.
LOL when I do,  I’ll let them come
out with me.  Rocky loves the snow
blower.  He gets right in front of it
and wants me to blow snow on him.
Silly boy hahaha.  Benny just likes
to watch LOL.  We’ve got some silly
boys,  but we love them.  They do
keep us entertained.  I have been
busy writing more poetry pictures
and now I have a 106 for book 10
and only need 54 more before I can
begin working on the book.  Yes,
I do stay busy.  Though I do believe
that I will stop at volume 10 and
then begin another project such as
creating a Christmas poetry picture
book and poetry painting book or
2 🙂  I might in the far future create
a continuance of the other with a
volume 11 or whatever,  but that is
not something I will do any time
soon LOL.  Well,  I decided to go
ahead and do some snow blowing,
so my fingers are thawing now LOL.
The boys wanted to come out with
me and Rocky just had to run and
get in front of the snow blower 🙂
He got pounded hehehe.  He soon
had enough and went up under the
porch to watch as Benny watched
me from a distance.  I had snow
all over me being the wind and all
blew the snow back in my face LOL.
Judy came out with us and took a
few pictures of me snow blowing.
She came out too late to catch a
view of Rocky getting snow blown,
but she got a picture of Benny as
he was standing right behind me
watching hehehe.  In any case the
job is done,  at least for a little while,
being I know I’ll have to go and do
it again real soon.  The snows still
coming down pretty heavy and yes
I love it.  I guess I wouldn’t love it
quite as much if Judy or I had to go
to work and I had to dig out the car
and all,  but still,  our landlord does
our driveway for us or else he pays
somebody to do it.  So I don’t have
to do the whole driveway,  thank
God 🙂  That was part of the deal for
us moving here.  He’s pretty good
about making sure that we’re OK.
He is sort of forgetful at times,   but
hey,  I am too LOL.  I bet if the guy
waits too long to plow our driveway,
he’ll have to do kind of like I did with
the snow blower,  a little at a time 🙂
I had to shave off the upper layer and
make another pass,  being our snow
blower only does 8 inches at a time.
Many cases I had to make 3 passes.
I just stopped and walked out to the
road to check on our mailbox and
yeppers,  it’s been pounded by the
county road snow plows again LOL.
It’s still up,  but leaning quite a bit.
It’s a good thing I went to check on
it because the lid was opened on it
and it was filling up with snow.  I
took a few pictures there and back.
Hahaha Benny and Rocky wanted
to come out with me and the first
thing Rocky did when he saw all of
my clearing was to go pee and then
him and Benny watched me walk to
the road.  When I came back I saw
that Benny was trudging through
the snow where I had walked and
he was just tickled pink to see me.
Rocky was poking his head up over
the snow watching me as well LOL.
God has been good to us.  Judy
and I have all that we need.  Maybe
not our wants,  but our needs.  We
do enjoy these little boys that run
amongst us.  It’s sad that their life
span is so short,  but we have no
control over that.  We’re thankful
for the time that we have with them.
Thank You God for all of the many
blessings that you have given us and
all that we have yet to of received.
Now I believe it’s time to begin my
journey back through all that I have
written here to see if I can find me a
good word or phrase,  that I can use
for the title for today’s brand new
poem.  So,  it’s away I go to the lil
place of my recollection that I like
looks as though I may of stumbled
upon a decent title about a quarter
of a way down from the beginning
of my rambling and it seems that
I have not used it as of yet,  so used
it shall be today.  Here goes…

The lives we lead
might not be great,
but seen by many
they might debate.
We have the clouds
to watch each day
and sky above
to kneel and pray.
We’ve got a heart
with a given beat
as time goes by
we sit and eat.
So many minutes
we’re entertained
by the moments
that seconds attained.
Though we might
not see the view
as entertainment
for me and you.
Yet if we remember
a time far away
as us ourselves
in a different way.
Building sandcastles
or snowmen by few
we were entertained
with things we’d do.
God gives choices
to choose our path
sometimes misguided
from times of wrath.
The loss of loved ones
or gain of sorrow
begins a turnstile
to a sad tomorrow,
but if we don’t allow
that time to live
we can find blessings
to share and give.
Don’t let boredom
to be just attained,
let God’s blessings
keep you entertained.

There ya go 🙂   I hope you liked the
poem and maybe even enjoyed all of
my rambling hehehe.  It’s getting a
little warmer LOL.  It’s 10 F degrees
now 🙂  We’re expecting another 5
to 8 inches of snow tonight hehehe.
I love the snow.   I have no clue to
why some people live up here,  being
it seems all they ever do is complain
about it.  I didn’t care for it near
as much as I do now while Judy was
working,  because that meant for me
to have to dig out our car in the
worst of times LOL,  but even then
I would play in the snow while I was
shoveling 🙂  Hey,  I’m a Texan and
I had never seen this much snow 🙂
Well it’s time for me to be telling
you what I tell you every week and
that is,  I wrote some more poems
and haiku.  Yep,  10 more poems,
but no extras for you this week.
I also wrote 22 more haiku for all
of the haiku lovers out there.  I
hope you can find 1 or 2 of either
or both that you like.  So now
it is time to begin my search for
that hardly elusive off switch,  but
not before I wish you a peaceful
weekend or whatever’s left of it and
a blessings filled week.  Remember,
Jesus loves you and we do too.  Now
where can that ornery off switch be
trying to hide this week?  Hmmmm,
I think I see my nose spray wobbling
and unless the house is shaking,  it
should not be LOL.  I see ya you lil
varmint.  Maybe if you’d try staying
still and not doing a little nervous
dance all the time,  I might not find
you so freaking easy hehehe,  but then
again that would make it hard on me
finishing my journal,  so continue on.
Gotcha,  see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill,  Judy,  Benny,  Rocky

Flight Through Eve

The day finds end
within a setting sun
as evening begins
as time on the run,
An evening flight
as times transpose
begins its quest
as a budding rose.
The sky might be
as a sudden dream
a timeless stage
as a raging stream.
With ins and outs
of a daily view
a flight through eve
might envelop you.
Becoming alive
as time fades away
on a mere journey
for another day.
We each have time
to do what we will
to either take heed
or roll down a hill.
As so many stories
are just a fish tale
planted in minds
if life’s not so well.
Our lives might be
hard to perceive
as the end of day
a flight through eve.

Rowing Through Life

Found as a portal
time pours on through
while we are rowing
the best we can do.
Each of us has burdens
through life in a way,
but some may not seem
so bad to display.
Yet we do not know
how a person is inside
as oars may be broken
that time has applied.
Their time may be torn,
but might not be clear
showing only smiles
that aren’t so sincere.
Rowing through life
in a boat of survival
seeking for peaceful
a point of their arrival.
The waters might rush
with currents so great
that carry them on
to an untimely fate.
So don’t be so quick
to judge how ones row,
for there may be much
that you don’t know.
They might be filled
with pain and strife
doing the best they can
rowing through life.

Silky Sky

A sky of blue
with clouds weaved in
displays a view
that times transcend.
Seeming so silky
as clouds drift on by
becoming a painting
that times multiply.
Within the artwork
is a heavenly view
with clouds woven in
a deep sky of blue.
It becomes as a web
for times to explore
as the sky opens up
like a heavenly door.
God gives the beauty
for us to define
as we look each day
for a peaceful mind.
Artwork is changing
as clouds drift away
defining another sight
of yet another day.
Yes life can be good
if we look on beyond
the sadness and grief
for ones that are gone.
Look to the heavens
and find a new high
as the joy then within
the clouds silky sky.

The Darkness

Just like a shadow
the night shines through
becoming the darkness
to envelop you.
It can enhance fear
as the darkness begins
displaying the shadows
of time and again.
Seeming as a doorway
that time opens wide
to allow what all we fear
to come and reside.
Don’t let the darkness
to fill you with fear,
for its only power
is what may appear.
A branch or an item
might show a scary sight,
but it’s only because of
shadows in the night.
The night light if any
may form in your mind
a scene in the darkness
real fearful to find.
Yet so many times
what we see is just fear,
for in the darkness
we cannot see clear.

Traces of Time

Some days discovered
are as of the past
retracing footsteps
as shadows they cast.
Traces of ventures
that timeless discovers
can become doorways
that our life uncovers.
Some as windows
that we look through
and others may be
just living in you.
The traces of time
that become our glance
might be the best times
life’s song and dance.
Maybe with colorful
leaves shining bright
found in the traces
of history’s light.
The sunshine of times
might fall into place
and form in your mind
a sign of a trace.
Designs you remember
from winter to spring
might then embellish
a time which to sing.
Then within summer
and essence of fall
the traces of time
are designed over all.

Defining Blooms

Flowers of life
become as a scene
often as moments
just but a thing.
Many look away
and don’t ever see
defining blooms
in their history.
Some only see
a passing view
a wanted array
a wish to be true.
Yet as a blossom
time is a rose
blooming colors
sought to expose.
Not seeing clear
the scenes of time
 might be hard
for ones to define.
Defining blooms
of our yesterdays
might only see
the darkest grays.
So look beyond
your own misery
and see the sights
God’s given free.
Such as flowers
a moment attunes
found as blessings
defining blooms.

Storms Begin

Life’s a whirlwind
times explore
as storms come in
our life’s front door.
Storms are found
as time consumes
the scenes we see
with bitter fumes.
The gray skies show
a chance for rain
with some lightning
to then attain.
We might not see
the true blue skies
because of the ways
we might surmise.
For so many times
we choose our sights
searching for storms
in brightest lights.
Don’t let your mind
to drown in fears
found in illusions
your doubt adheres.
Look for rainbows
in storms of time
and formulate peace
within your mind.
For often good times
will enter within
found in rain clouds
when storms begin.

Little Bird

When some worries
find your mind
search the sky
from time to time.
You might see
a bird in flight
against the wind
an endless fight.
Yet it continues
to do what it will
the best it can
to surely fulfill.
Take in that sight
with a grasp on life
there’ll be struggles
there’ll be strife.
Yet if you strive on
and don’t give in
you’ll find favor
within the wind.
For with struggles
burdens of time,
stronger you’ll be
with a wiser mind.
Surely the lessons
will often be great
teaching us daily
finding our fate.
But still the vision
of hopeful inferred
can be a lesson
from a little bird.

River’s Smile

Winter’s journey
shows a view
a smiling river
It flows onwards
with its quest
smiling greatly
without rest.
The river’s smile
is winter’s ways
showing seasons
it displays.
We pass it often
and look upon
that great smile
just like a song.
For its smile
is catchy too
reflecting back
at me and you.
Life’s a journey
that proceeds
planting smiles
as daily seeds.
Time becomes as
our reflections
on this river’s
many directions.
The river’s path
shows its smile
snow of winter
to compile.
It flows onwards
to entice
oh so often
under ice.
It breathes water
with each mile
to show its teeth
a river’s smile.

Passing Phase

Words reflections
found in things
passing ventures
many scenes
become doorways
sights to see
a passing phase
of history.
Like a barn
on a country road
life displays
its time’s abode.
Weathered scenes
of life’s delight
a passing phase
of day and night.
You might see
a distant hill
a time in life
that does fulfill.
It might give hope
for better things
as remembered
rushing streams.
A moment might
become alive
a time and place
to now survive.
A passing phase
that surely shines
of the passed days
wondrous times.
You might even
see a fence
a time of life
of white intense.
The sight might be
remembered days
of your past
and passing phase.

Time is illusion
when hurry and want unite
creating each day.

Discerning flowers
might choose the wrong aromas
for some really stink.

The hills of today
are what we thought as mountains
that we saw before.

Often our burdens
are only the sands of time
with worry’s profile.

When left with choices
now might look impossible,
but hope lives with God.

Beyond the starlight
the imagination grows
thinking of what if.

Time gives us stories
as the minutes pass us by
leaving memories.

The quest of a bee
is of a seasonal flight
gathering pollen.

Living with sadness
and not seeking happiness
cannot move ahead.

Within emotion
there is silence that we need
to give us balance.

Leaning too heavy
on ones when you are in need
could push them away.

Flowers are flowers
and people are just people
that are different.

We are the seasons
as the days become flowers
awaiting to bloom.

Losing direction
does not mean there is no chance,
if you turn around.

The butterfly’s path
begins as a caterpillar
without any wings.

A snowflakes lifespan
relies on the atmosphere
for it’s just water.

Links to survival
are found in our abilities
to learn and to grow.

Yesterdays stories
might be tomorrows visions
that ones dreamed about.

The past is the past
for it cannot live today,
because we have changed.

Some see the darkness
as but only less of light
and others find fright.

Thinking too deeply
can cause loss of perception,
so take a breather.

Our hearts can guide us
into many disasters,
so think with your head.
