ANIMAL’S GREETINGS

Hello my friends

First off I want to wish everyone well that was
hit by Hurricane Irene. It’s looking like it’s been
downgraded to a tropical storm now as it heads
up our ways. Yet the rains alone could cause a
lot of problems for us up here, being we’ve had
rain almost every day if not every other day since
the snows stopped in April and our grounds up
here are literally saturated. Just a few inches of
rain could flood some areas. None the less, God
is in control and it will all work out. Ok, so it’s
on with the journal. Judy and I prepared as best
that we could. We bought some bottled water
and batteries along with a few other necessities.
We figured that if the hurricane made it up here,
then it wouldn’t matter too much LOL. This old
trailer barely withstands 50 mile an hour winds.
Anything over that, we might as well prepare to
be relocated, because it’s gonna blow away hehe.
We did our farms in FB on FarmTown last night
and then we played our hidden object games till
late. Right now it’s just sprinkling outside, but
it’s supposed to start raining hard a little later on.
There’s not much about last week to talk about.
Pretty much same old stuff LOL. Judy went over
to her moms yesterday and prepared her for the
upcoming storm by filling her bathtub with water
just in case we lose our electricity. Being on well
water as we are up this ways, when the electricity
goes out, so does our water LOL. She made sure
she had good batteries for her flashlight and radio
as well as a few other things. We’re as ready as
we can be. Judy’s in bed right now watching the
Weather Channel keeping up to date on Irene’s
whereabouts and structure. I’ll be glad when it’s
passed. This has sure been a weird year. We’ve
gotten tornadoes and earthquakes that we don’t
normally get up here and Texas got over a foot
of snow that it does not normally get. Yep, it’s
looking like things are changing. I’m glad we
didn’t get the heat that Texas and other states
got being we don’t own an air conditioner and
don’t even have a place to put one. Our windows
open sideways LOL. All 3 of our neighbors have
air conditioners, but their mobile home windows
open up and down like they should LOL. Our
trailer is screwed. Oh well, I thank God for the
breezes He sends us. Life is good. We will have
a few pitfalls in life, but that’s what keeps it
interesting. If we knew exactly what to expect
every day of our lives, there would sometimes
be moments that we’re overwhelmed with fear.
Dealing with things day to day is on most cases
the only way I can survive. So if right now your
seeing but only fear for the tomorrows that have
not yet arrived, then take a breath and just do
your best with today. If you take care of today
then tomorrow will be OK. Hehe, a little poem.
Let God have control and it will all work out
for the better. We have no clue what the better
is, so trust in Him. All we need to do is do our
very best with our part in life. Storms will come
and go from day to day, so keep your ship strong
in The Lord as you sail the sea of life. I think it’s
time for me to be revisiting all that I’ve written
here to see if I can find a good word or phrase
that might work well for the title for today’s
brand new poem. So, it’s off I go to that place
that I like to call RECOLLECT VILLE. I think
I may have found a good title. Now, let’s see
if I can write a good poem using it hehehehehe.
Here goes!!!!

No Clue

Time might show
a sight we see
as a sign
we have no key.
With no clue
of there and then
time might show
where to begin.
Then might seem
as said and done,
but in fact
a change begun.
Our tomorrows
seen today
we’ve no clue
as they display.
We might know
a certain piece,
but no clue
of thens release.
Only God knows
truly so
how tomorrow
will bestow.

I hope that poem made a little sense to ya hehehe
and you enjoyed all of my rambling of thoughts 🙂
Well it’s still sprinkling outside and I can here Judy
moving around in the bed from one end to the other
as she watches the Weather Channel. We might get
some real high winds if my PC weather program is
as accurate as it usually is. Right now it’s saying we
could get 55+ mile an hour winds tonight and around
40 mile an hour winds today. I hope this trailer can
hold together hehehe. It’s withstood 50 miles an hour
winds in the past, but you could feel it rocking hehe.
Keep us in your prayers. Hehehe better yet, keep
our mobile home in your prayers 🙂 We’ve already
got flash flood warnings for most of Maine, but so
far we’re not included in the areas hehehe. We live
on high ground. There has been flooding most every
week for many months now for many parts of Maine.
So they don’t need anymore rain. I myself am sick
of it. Sure wish I could send some of this down south
to my friends and families in Texas and thereabouts.
I’m sure yall would be thrilled to get some of this.
It’s pouring rain outside now. I guess it’s time for
me to be telling you what I tell you every week and
that is, I wrote some more poems and haiku. Yep,
10 more poems with 2 of them Christmassy and 22
more haiku for all my haiku lovers out there hehehe.
I hope you enjoy a few of them. Now it’s time for
me to be searching for that old off switch, but not
before I wish you a most wonderful God filled week.
Remember, Jesus loves you and we do too. Now,
to find that dad burned off switch that loves to elude
me. Found it dancing in the rain. You silly thing,
hehehe ya act like you’ve never seen rain. Get in
here this minute and quit being silly hehehehehehe.
Gotcha, see ya CLICK zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

God bless from Bill and Judy Pearce

Now on with the poems and haiku
10 and 22 hehehehehehehehehehe 🙂

Lessons Fly

Days roll by
with winds of time
with a sigh
of their design.
Scenes are found
from here to there
sky and ground
so debonair.
Days roll on
till timing ends
with the dawn
how it begins.
Pages turn
as scenes of age
with to learn
the things on stage.
Days of past
from memories
shine a cast
of shadowed trees.
Lessons fly
with good and bad
from the times
of which we had.

Don’t Rush

Hearts afire
burn with love
given from
Lord God above.
Hearts so true
with desire
show the signs
of raging fire.
Yet if flames
are not so true
then the signs
will go askew.
Hearts that turn
as pages torn
will be found
will sadness born.
Make your heart
to truly show
what’s within
and what will grow.
But don’t rush
the moments true.
Let God give
the times to you.

Giving Thoughts

A hurricane
with winds that blow
might confuse
the daily show.
It might be
a moments flame
just to be
a hurricane.
Sometimes things
of which we see
are no more
than history.
Signs of times
from then and there
show us what
that none compare.
Giving thoughts
of how to view
now and then
for me and you.

Moving Forwards

Moving forwards
times expose
frames of mind
of highs and lows.
Looking backwards
ones might see
their regrets
from history.
Moving forwards
only shines
when we’ve learned
from thens designs.
So use lessons
you have learned
moving forwards
now discerned.
Leave the backwards
views of then
as the lessons
to begin.

Seeing Christmas

Seeing Christmas
as I do
it lives on
in how I view.
Scenes so blessed
such as then
bring to me
a way to win.
Seeing Christmas
as a light
gives to me
a wondrous sight.
Such as blessings
here and there
found through times
of Christmas prayer.
Seeing Christmas
wondrous view
can bring joy
that is so true.

The Summer’s Day

Summer’s found
with raging heat
also with some
burning feet.
Ones upon
a beach of time
find their feet
of burned design.
Summer’s seen
as sometimes viewed
ones just bathing
in the nude
and it’s them
of raging fire
that will find
their burns entire.
Summer’s also
found with splashing
in the waves
of summers thrashing.
Ones just searching
for that wave
found within
the summer’s day.

So Many Thoughts

Hearing now
the songs that play
I recall
a distant day.
A song from then
of long ago
comes to life
in to and fro.
Heard as time
with scenery
I recall
my history.
Hearing now
those songs that play
I can see
on passed the gray.
All the songs
of timeless notes
are as journeys
moments boats.
Sailing through
my oceans mind
the memories
just then unwind.
Filling up
so many thoughts
with a time
that once was lost.

Christmastime Joy

Wintertime’s coming,
but we can’t see
through all the summer’s
of hottest degree.
Summertimes ending
will be found in place
with seasons changing
a moment of face.
Fall will come surely
with its design
then it will leave us
for thens wintertime.
Winter will come in
with fluffy white scenes
white snow abound us
that once were of greens.
Christmas will surely
be then displayed
within the winter
of moments then made.
Born through a segment
of Christmastime true,
then will show blessings
within every view.
Glistening tree lights
and houses aglow
lit up through Christmas
and flavored with snow.
So if the summer
is bringing you down,
try to remember
what will come around.
Christmastime joy
with memories to find
can live each moment
right now in your mind.

A Simple Choice

A simple stage
of written lines
can become
unwanted times.
A simple page
of heard and said
can become
a ton of lead.
A simple scene
of minutes hue
can become
forever’s view.
A simple thought
can become
a better scene
of beating drum.
A simple choice
from history
can become
some good to see.

Grab Those Blessings

Morning comes
from which it came
found within
my window frame.
It brings sights
into my room
with its fragrance
before noon.
Mornings shadows
are then found
that of birds
with sight and sound.
Mornings blessings
come awake
from Lord God
for us to take.
Grab those blessings
in the day
before morning
goes away.

Haiku
for Aug 27, 2011

People with heartaches
often are the creators
and do not know it.

Tomorrows limits
are put on ourselves through time
sometimes through failure.

Summertime’s scenes
are as echoes of children
splashing in a pool.

Living for today
can make tomorrow a dream
that has yet come true.

Sorrow that’s harnessed
can become tomorrows strength
so don’t let it win.

Cleaning a window
might give you a clearer view
so look with clean eyes.

Seeking yesterday
will leave tomorrow without
no room for today.

Sprinkles of raindrops
come as summertime’s shadows
and whispers of time.

The littlest sound
is heard by someone somewhere
at some time or place.

Beyond our viewpoints
live a ton of emotions
we’ve misunderstood.

A painted heartbeat
might have many wrong colors.
Make sure it is true.

Similar people
might have some differences
that you cannot see.

The lines on a face
show time and how it travels
with some smiles and frowns.

Reaching for Jesus
needs be done with a true heart
and not just display.

Bringing a heartache
to a future moments dream
can cause a nightmare.

Many seek for Jesus
as the last thing that they do.
Don’t keep God waiting.

Beyond this moment
lives a chance for our choices,
so don’t screw it up.

Leaving a shadow
where a minutes sorrow thrives
can destroy your hope.

Let tomorrow live,
but only in its timeframe.
Live now in today.

Patience is golden
as waiting for the right time
brings forth your blessings.

Yesterdays troubles
can be as good memories
if you have survived.

Hiding from the truth
leaves some shadows to be seen
that you cannot hide.
